Thanks for using StudyBlue! To give you the best experience possible, we update the app regularly with bug fixes and new features.
Such a great app that is convenient to study low key any given time. I love it
You can only preview 5 flash cards without getting a monthly membership. Such a crappy deal! Just use quizlet.
Sometimes I make mistakes making the flash cards and only realize while studying . However, I have a large set of 200 + cards and it’s hard to find each individual one. When I search and tap on the word in attempt to change it it brings me to the first flash card. All I want to do is be able to fix my cards easily! Developers please fix this and you will have a 5 Star app. UPDATE: it has been 4 weeks I have sent messages to the developers as well only to be IGNORED. It is increasingly frustrating to have to scroll through a whole list to fix one card. The search feature bug could be fixed relatively easily. Would be willing to pay for pro if this was fixed.
Wanted a flashcard app I could use on pc as well as phone but both app and site are too complicated to use. Not wasting time learning how to navigate it.
Original app was full of bugs and somehow the update still has bugs on top of a less user friendly interface and just nonsense swiping feature. My card images are all distorted as a result of the new swiping feature and separate lines of text now run into each other. I’m trying to flip some flash cards not look for a date. New features are 👎👎👎👎👎
I’m making Spanish flash cards right now and I’m remembering so many words! This is a really good app so I recommend it to everyone who wants to ace a test.
I am upset that the new version does allow for a horizontal view of flashcards and makes it basically impossible to scroll through the definition of each card without ending up flipping to the next card. The old version did not have these problems. please fix!!!!
App keeps crashing. Unusable.
This app would be great if there were more free resources. I understand needing some of the resources to be protected and therefore purchasing the upgraded version is necessary. But sometimes, there are things that should be free. Consider lowering the cost of the upgraded or putting a time limit on- like if you need the upgraded for 24 hours it would be a certain amount rather than having to purchase it for an extended time period.
This app used to be an amazing resource for students. Now, they want to charge you up to $19 per month to view content they didn’t even create. They’re literally trying to charge you for the content of OTHER STUDENTS. It’s basically a scam now
As I have paid for a full year I’m persisting with you his app, but overall a little bit disappointed. For what you pay would expect a far more functional app, if the producers do not improve it in the next 12months will not be re subscribing. -continually suggests all these flash cards that have 0 to do with my field of interest -does not offer the ability to ‘follow or friend’ other users studying similiar subjects. Maybe it does and I’m too tech illiterate to figure it out which brings me back to the functionality -finding the organisational system a bit weird...but ok But hey I’m getting by with it....I’m studying oil and gas related inspection codes so i guess it’s more targeted at school kids
Not bad. It’s not the best lay out. I’d like to study my notes more than others. They need to be accessible first. Also to add questions/cards, the link is at the bottom of the list. So I have to scroll though all the cards I have created just to access the +add card link at the bottom. Otherwise once you get the card flips happening it is a useful learning tool.
Hate how the new update can’t set your cards to private
The app its ok if you read others notes but it keeps crashing when i try to create a flashcard. I managed to create one and when i went to look for it it wasn’t there.
Why? Then it's not listed! So pick a nearby school. It seems useless feature. Not user friendly, changed to a simple one to revise my notes on.
Really great for studying for hsc finals thanks studyblue dudes!!!
I found the app can be glitchy at times not showing cards. Also wish you could share files of flash cards not just decks. Overall it's a great way of studying my flash cards on the train or in the car. Simple and effective
I am studying Indonesian since moving here six months ago. App is easy to use and is helping me a lot.
The interface is extremely annoying and frustrating. It could be made so much better so easily.
Has the ability to be a great app. Downsides: ongoing fees instead of outright purchase, free version very lacking if you want to measure improvement. Could be impressive if the developers also modify it to accept sketches directly onto the cards, and allow a choice of colour schemes. Pros: really easy to get started, otherwise well set up. I am using this to study a language.
Cant do much here without paying, just use quizlet.
Yall stop trying so hard to get me to upgrade to Study blue 3? You are all simply Quizlet wannabes. I dont want to pay to do my homework, and im certainly never paying this app to 'look at my sets'. This is beyond absurd. Can i undo this update? It is literal, borderline trash. I ended up having to take pictures of the computer screen through my phone to study. Bye
It's terrible. Blocks notecards unless you pay to upgrade. Complete scam and rip off, don't waste time or money
Too difficult to use with bugs. Deleted and will find another working app. Cards w/longer text won’t show past a certain point when typing. When reviewing cards there is no way to back up, have to hard close and restart app.
Parts of the cards are being cut off on iPhone X
Broke college students looking for study cards.?? This isn’t the app. $75.00 dollars to use. I might as well just study out the book FOR FREE.. Not this one keep scrolling 💯
Hey there I think I found a bug in this application because each time I start it and start writing my flash cards when I get to my second flash card the app crashes and closes! Any ideas on how to fix this ? :(
This is a great app for studying, but I don’t see a reason to charge students when wanting to use other user’s study cards. As a struggling college student, I’m already paying a good amount for other stuff. I understand they need to earn money but...maybe try to make it affordable for others? Can’t believe wanting to study and learn comes with a price.
I read the reviews and saw how bad they were and I was trying to find an app to help me study and I thought I would give it a go anyway. It was so hard. I was not able to get past the second step to set up a class. This is not a good study app and I do not recommend it.
The fact that you have to pay money to be able to study is ridiculous in my opinion.
In the app there is an option when flipping cards to have the term or definition at the front of the card. In the quiz we don't have this option and are shown the term and have to write the definition. Can we please have the flipping card feature in the quiz? It would be especially useful for languages. Other than this the app is perfect it's just that this has bothered me a lot recently. Cheers.
Essential part of my study. Especially good for definitions!
I use StudyBlue for all of my classes, it's a very handy way to get yourself focused on recalling facts and testing your knowledge
From one nerd to another, can't fault this app. Great features and pleasant to use.
Very handy app but it does crash from time to time which is so annoying and make me lose the cards I was making. Also it would be better if we could flip through the cards without having to mark them wrong or right
Amazing app for students. I just love it
The app is continually 'updated' with features that are making it worse. Bulletpoints no longer show up properly, the font for the definitions is too big. You aren't allowed to flip through flash cards without marking them correct like you would naturally when you're learning them. Very disappointing.
Absolutely fantastic. Makes studying so easy . Really aids recall . Smart and effective . Will help every student . I wish I knew about it sooner
It's a great app to have before exams times.. Just wish you didn't need Internet or data to open it up
