Change of flight times. After several lights changes since the time I originally booked, my international layover went from 1 hour and 45 minutes to only 40 minutes. A 45 minute layover for an international connection is not enough time, especially as I am flying with a family of five, this forced asked to switch flights. In doing so, I lost the upgraded seats I initially used points for. This would not have been a big deal, but it is highly disappointing that delta would not reimburse you for the points lost due to a change on their end. This policy really needs changed. In addition, the four hour plus waiting to talk to a representative force me to try to utilize the chat function. Even though I know I was able to speak to somebody relatively quickly, I made it all the way to having new flights but the person I was talking to left the chat. Waited a while and then the screen turned out causing me to start over. OK I thought, disappointing but just a fluke, but what do you know it happened again. The second time, I am mediately typed “representative“ and then we can immediately going through the process with a third agent. At least this time all the previous chat information was still up for her to review instead of starting back from scratch. The system need some bugs worked out, it’s also very hard to read on an iPhone.

Susan strasser. While traveling home from nj to Florida delta canceled our flight. We rebooked with a connection in Atlanta. Delta took off late, causing me to miss my connection and resulting in my having to sleep in the terminal overnight. Scheduled for standby and notifying delta that I was traveling due to bereavement due to the death of my mom, I was told by the delta representative in the sky lounge that we were #’s 1&2 and we would definitely get seats. The next morning at 4:30 when the sky lounge opened I asked about the flight status and seating, the same gentleman told us we were 8&9 and we MAY get on! He then sent my ex husband who was traveling with me to the wrong terminal on the other side of the airport. I have all of the documentation including the boarding pass with the incorrect gate info. I travel with a service dog, due to my debilitating anxiety as I suffer from bipolar disorder, and aside from the grief of loosing my beloved mother, my travel experience on delta caused me to suffer a setback in my mental health. My travel companions were Marc strasser, Jared strasser and Jillian sidisky.

If it ain’t broke….. I have been using this app for years and loved it since they fixed the issues that logged you out at the most inopportune time. I just updated the app for a recent flight and saw the new layout and my first thought was nice. A new improved interface. Soon found out though that the “improvement” was that now you cannot see the entire trip on one screen and seeing just the last leg of the trip almost made me miss my flight! After I figured out that I was only seeing the last leg I tried swiping to the other leg like before and nothing happened. Took me a minute to realize I hadn’t booked my flight incorrectly and that I had to awkwardly choose the correct leg from a small drop down at the top of the screen. This is not an improvement! Swiping through the trip is much better than a drop down. Also like to see the entire trip on one screen. Each leg shows as 1 of 1 which is either incorrect or just confusing. Sometimes change is just change and not improvement.

Many missing options. One of the many missing options is the opportunity to volunteer when a flight is overbooked. I just checked in for an overbooked flight and was never directed to the volunteer screen. If I had used the airport kiosk, I could have volunteered. True, volunteering does not guarantee being chosen, but at least I would have had the opportunity to try. I’ve had this same problem when the app has automatically checked me in and never allowed me the option of volunteering for overbooked flights. I am seriously considering deleting this app. Today: After neither the app nor the website would not let me volunteer, I checked in for this morning’s flight at the airport kiosk and easily accessed the volunteer screen. Unfortunately, I figured that I did not need the paper boarding pass because it would be on my phone. This app made me check in again to view the boarding passes and, once again, did not provide the volunteer screen. Fortunately, the gate agent was extremely helpful and added my name to the list at the price I wanted. The big problem is that if two people volunteer at the same price, one of the deciding factors is who volunteered first. It would be wonderful if the app let me volunteer when I check in 24 hours in advance then let me check the status whenever I want to see if the list has begun and add my name — if there was no list yet at check in.

I love flying Delta!. I can’t say it enough times how much I enjoy flying Delta. I have had to fly a lot for work and Delta is Leaps and bounds above the other airlines. Where they stand out the most is customer service! I only wish that when there happens to be a cheaper flight on another airline that Delta could match that price so that I wouldn’t be forced to fly those other airlines. My company requires I choose the cheapest option. I can usually explain it ends up cheaper on Delta due to my free checked luggage but once in a while I still have to fly another airline when I would much rather fly Delta! Keep up the good work Delta! Also, if I could recognize and individual employee then Kerry in Billings, MT deserves some real recognition. It is very hard to leave home every week and she is the nicest, friendliest Gate agent. She is often times training new staff and is very patient with them. She really is top notch and her warm smile makes leaving home a little less painful. Thank you Kerry!

Flight changed. We have had our flights to and from our destination twice with one time changing airports on us. Since we used mileage, a free certificates and gift certificates 4months before our trip we call customer service to help us book. Our experience at that time was excellent. We were accompanied for all of our requests including booking our seats. Two months later our flight times were changed which resulted in loosing our assigned seats and not being able to add seats without paying extra for 2 people for a total of 6 flights. That said we were given the run around by CS that they could not do anything until we checked in. So come to find out we could not request any change in seats until we were at the gate. We are of retirement age and my husband is disabled so it is best for us to sit together. The last change was not only the time change but airport change. After calling CS 5 times 2 days prior to our return to let them know the airport change was inappropriate I was told someone would get back to me multiple times however no one ever called me back. CS did say it was Deltas mistake and they would get back to us. No one got back to us however we received an email the morning of check in showing our original airport. Now we will have to try to again get seats together for our 2 legs of our return trip at the gate. The hassle and anxiety of our first trip since COVID-19 has not been enjoyable. Shame on you Delta!

Bag issue. Upon arriving I lost 2 hours of valuable time. I was asked to check my carry on in at the gate. The reason I had a carry on was to be able to get to my final destination as quickly as possible. First, I had to travel within the airport quite a distance to baggage claim. Then after standing and waiting for my “carry on bag” which never came on the delivery system and everyone had left I had to find a an airport employee to help me. He helped me install the Delta app which took more time to let me know that my bag was still on the plane ( what the app showed!). Then I had to stand in line which was extensively long and not moving for lost baggage claim. After 45 minutes of waiting. I had someone hold my spot and went to look on all the carousels in the area to find my bag was on a carousel that was not associated with my flight! Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait in that line any longer. However, I still had to pick up my rental car, the weather went from bad to worse and I had to now drive a long distance in the dark on top of it not familiar with the area. I have difficulty driving in the dark especially with the snow storm and ice that was worsening! First time flying Delta in many, many years. Not what I would have ever expected to experience.

Poor design. Version 5.1 has a terrible color scheme. On one hand, the home screen has a new darker high contrast purple background, but the bottom half of the window as well as all the other window tabs are blaring white and low contrast! Does delta not have the resources to hire a graphics designer? Then, when starting the booking process, the sort function opens a picker control that has all the options (price, duration, etc) rendered in white on white, making it practically impossible to see the choices. Finally, if using the sort function, it actually executed a new query on the server for every option, which is mind numbing slow! Why could you not just re-sort the existing shown flights on the client side!!! Likewise, switching between prices shown in cash, Miles or miles+cash, also executes a new server query. This is sloppy work! You should run just one query that downloads a compete set of information, this will speed up the client app’s performance exponentially! The website is much better, not to mention feature full. I understand that Delta is not a software company, and so it may not have the in-house expertise of one, but these design problems are too egregious to go unnoticed! With millions of active daily users, including your own staff, how could all this have slipped by! Are your testers actually even using the app? If not, they should be.

Delta’s App Failed Us. Our flight was cancelled in advance but we were not notified. The App showed it “On-time” at several check ins on our trip from home to the airport. We left home at 12:40 and checked the flight status on the drive to parking, on the shuttle to the terminal, in the security line and after we got through security. At every instance the app was properly refreshed and re-loaded and we were told the flight was on time. It turns out the flight was cancelled at 12:47 shortly after we left home. Delta sent an email but did not send any in-app or text notifications. Their app also failed to show the cancellation at every stage. It’s sad that Delta is considered a good airline because it would be so simple to have their app display correct information. No compensation was offered and our flight was rebooked to today, which also got cancelled at the gate. Delta has so courtesy rebooked us on a one way flight to New York. Too bad our flight was to Tampa. Customer Service has been on hold for 3 hours. It started at 82 minutes and 3 hours later the hole is still 80 minutes. I wish I had some good feedback and know this happens to many others but a simple notification could have saved a lot of frustration. Fingers crossed we can go on our vacation and salvage the rest of the week after 2 days lost.

😏Disappointed. Our experience on this trip, with Delta, has been very disappointing. Originally our flights were from Salt Lake city to Atlanta, and then a direct flight back. We’ve had a family emergency that made it necessary for us to fly from Atlanta to Portland Maine. We thought we would just change that last leg and they wouldn’t charge us extra for that. But, they canceled the whole thing, we were not sitting by each other on our flight out, which I don’t understand why they needed to even touch that. We had not as comfortable as seats and it it did it up being significantly more expensive. Then-as I was checking in, they offered us comfort+ for nine dollars a seat and we felt like that would be great for our FIRST leg which is from Atlanta to LaGuardia. So I signed up for that, which was a little frustrating, because it was not responsive. After we signed up, it shows our flights, and we realize that it wasn’t the first flight like of the flight. It was the second. We were hoping to get the more comfortable seats on our first leg which is our longest leg. It just doesn’t seem like deltas Customer service is as good as it used to be.

Review. And not GOOD. So I flew in February of 2022 missed plane and they lost my luggage I went to airport several times and they kept saying it wasn’t there a friend was meeting me he checked lost luggage and there it was. Not a good experience then had to have Covid test put info in and it didn’t take phone people not any help just said go to airport early So January 2023 missed flight due stewardess said pick up your luggage head to gate. Well luggage didn’t come after 40 minutes I asked delta employee he came back said it would be shortly. I said I was worried about missing connection About 15 minutes later I said I am going to miss my flight. I don’t think I can make it he said go ahead and go to flight we will get your luggage sent. So why didn’t he say that like in the first place. Why are the stewardesses say pick up your luggage when they had said their were several different cities that would be close they should have told those flight just get your connecting flight also we had to go out and go back in through security check cause no one was there to say that I am totally unhappy with delta is an understatement. Get your ducks In order

Awful partnership between delta and aero Mexico. I’m a loyal and long time delta customer. I’ve had my normal travel issue throughout the years (weather, flight cancellation etc.). Yet the past week with delta has been the worst of my tenure. First the app is not working properly when I tried to check in via my phone on my outbound flight it tried to charge me $180 for my free luggage. Then upon arriving at the airport we ran into a similar problem. Fortunately the ticket agent was experienced and resolved the issue with limited amount of wasted time. Now on my return, I had a schedule change and I tried to change my flight via my phone and Aero Mexico and Delta to not talk to each other at all. Both had conflicting information and would refuse to sync with each other. So I tried another avenue, I called delta directly and the agent said they changed my flight as desired and I was all good to go. Upon arriving at the aero Mexico ticketing counter they were only able to find my origami ticket and they helped me get to the bottom of the problem as my flight left without me. Next I call delta back again and they tell me the confirmation of the flight change from delta to aero Mexico new went through and this I was suppose to confirm online which doesn’t work. So morale of the story the very bad partnership between Aero Mexico and delta cost me 24 hrs time, $275 in expenses (hotel, cabs, duplicate Covid test). And most like it will cost delta a loyal customer.

Disappointed!. In fairness, there are many things this app does right - however, the plethora of things that are broken and that have been for years now merits a strongly worded inditement. The app consistently crashes with airport WiFi. Delta blames this on the local airport’s WIfI- but for a Multi-year Diamond Medallion with multiple million miles who sees hundreds of airports each year - it can’t always be the airports wifi - sorry Delta, that Dog don’t hunt! Also, the app crashes consistently (usually while I’m in the TSA line). For me, it crashed 1/2 the time I tried to use it in the last year (I wrote it down each time it crashed). This is unacceptable! You can change the amount of information stored on each device vs what has to be downloaded (and which is the likely cause of these crashes). For example, once my boarding pass has been downloaded - why does it need to be redone loaded every time I log on?? A simple byte of info indicating a change vs no change could flag it and give me the option of downloading an updated boarding pass or not - this would prevent it from crashing at the most in-opportune time (at the TSA line). Yes - I can bypass by taking a screenshot or saving it to my wallet - but most of the time I am running. If I’ve already downloaded my boarding pass - don’t make me log on and connect to get it again! I know you can fix this. Please do!!

Sick and tired. The app really needs an update. It’s the same old antiquated app that’s been out for years and it’s not working well on many occasions. My biggest gripe is when I go to book a flight and it says oops. Please fix that, it happens far too often. Customer care needs to rename themselves to customer…we don’t care. I flew from Italy to New York over two months ago and had reached out to customer care about a horrible experience. No one‘s gotten back to me. I flew next to what looked like a dirty diaper because the floors were soaked with liquid garbage. The flight attendants garbage container that they dump coffee, beer, wine, soda, and all of the liquids into leaked out and was all under my seat and feet. I asked the flight attendant if I could please have a towel because my socks and my blanket were wet. He said in a not concerned tone, “oh don’t worry, it’s just condensation.” Newsflash condensation doesn’t look like a dirty brown diaper. I don’t know what’s more disturbing the fact that Delta doesn’t care or that I had to actually sit next to that on an international flight!

Customer Service. I have tried for 22 hours to get in touch with the Delta customer service department. I have made at least 10 phone calls. The wait times have been as long as 9 hours, then 7, then 5, and then “less than 2 hours”. I waited on the phone last night for more than 3-1/2 hours, still unable to get a live person in the phone. I also used the contact is message link, only to get a text message every 2 hours asking if I still need help. This morning I called, and finally got a message that said to press one if you would like a call back and that it would be approximately 1 hour. It has been 3 hours and still no phone call. This is very disappointing. I understand with COVID we all lost a portion of our employee base, and that you’re working to staff up; however, having a flight that now leaves in less than 24 hours and I am completely unable to speak to custoemr service is again very disappointing.

Delta needs to hire s better IT department. Delta is probably the best American airline in nearly everything except for its technology I am a Diamond medallion customer the shortcoming of the app comes when you try and use upgrades Although it lets you know your seat assignment most, but not all the time - the app won't let you check in online This means you have to either stand in line at the airport and get a paper ticket, or if you are brave you can call their Diamond medallion line where the agent will put you on hold while she checks with the ticketing department who are the airline's equivalent of the DMV 9 out of 10 times this hold time will be over a half hour or, as recently happened to me an hour and a half of listening to their horrific hold music also the agent keeps you on hold without getting back on the phone to update you on what is going on or maybe more accurately, what is not going on The result is you wonder whether they forgot about you, and you debate about hanging up and starting the process all over again Meanwhile if you look at the app it won't even give you the boarding time or gate info since officially you're not checked in

Changes. Once any leg of a trip has been changed the app and just delta altogether won’t allow you to go back and change the other legs or the same leg again. It shows an error message leaving me having to go another route to change it. I just had a flight that the time was changed to I had to to back and exchange to one that worked which left me with one that wasn’t great but the cheapest price but I wanted to be able to go back once a day if possible to see if the price on a perfectly fine flight would be close to my original price. I have no way to physically see it I just have ti contact delta and have them do it for me. So not only does delta need to fix that, they need to come up with a way to only pay the upgrade price for a new flight of the price the flight options were on the day of purchase and not the higher new price after the original flight was changed or removed completely. If the flights fare rules allow for change there’s 0 reason why you shouldn’t be able to do it yourself and take time to contact delta UNLESS that’s the rules and it’s stated before purchasing.

App and website are worthless. I was notified our by email our flights had changed. I’ve had this happen before, and usually the change isn’t significant. This change had us arriving at our destination 2 1/2 hours later, and was too late. I tried everything to change the flight online, and on the app with no success. What was more frustrating is with “My Trips,” it gave the original flight information instead of the updated itinerary. I called the reservation line, and was on hold for FOUR hours before giving up. We are going to a family wedding, so I wrote a complaint/comment because I’m worried about not being able to change our flights. I got an email from Delta saying it could take up to two weeks for them to contact me about my complaint! I called again, and when the prompt asked if I was calling about my complaint, I finally got someone to help me. So if you need help, writing a comment/complaint is more effective than the website or app even if the link to update your trip was sent in the email from Delta.

Latest app version update is a fail. The latest update to the “today” tab is the opposite of an upgrade. It is now much more difficult to navigate. The ability to scroll through boarding pass segments has been great and very easy in prior versions. That has been replaced with several clicks needed for the same functionality that used to be a simple swipe. The boarding time and departure time do not show at the same time, instead it may show boarding time when you open the app the first time and departure time the next. Would be better if it could show both times. There also seems to be a bug in the version that causes the user to be logged out. Yesterday I was logged out while in line to drop my bag after opening the app, then again at security, again at the SkyClub, and again at boarding. What a pain to log back in each time (while wearing a mask). As a very loyal and frequent Delta customer, I want to love the app again. It has been great for quite some time now, but the early November 2021 update is a fail for me. Feels rushed and as if no customer feedback was requested. Hoping the upgrade is on the back end with functionality, but from the user standpoint this version needs some work. I’d love to give feedback from a user standpoint, please feel free to contact me.

Review of Delta App. My original flight 3/9 was canceled from JAX to RIC via LGA and Delta rescheduled me on another flight via JFK. Then my departure from JAX to JFK was delayed so much so that my arrival into RIC was being further pushed back. I was given the option to change my flight at no cost which I opted to do but I was not able to see what seats were available. I thought at some point I would be given the option to see available seats prior to finalizing the change but that never occurred. After accepting the change I found I didn’t have a seat assignment on the departure and I was assigned a middle seat (which I despise) on the connection. A passenger should be given the option to see what seats are available before making a change. I can assure you had I known prior to accepting the change that I would have to wait to be assigned a seat at the airport and that I would only have a middle seat on the connection I would not have changed from the rescheduled flight. Then to add insult to injury I used points to sit in Delta comfort from JAX to LGA because of the length of the flight. I no longer want to use points on either leg of the flights via ATL and I sincerely hope my points will be deposited back into my account. I had aisle seats (which I prefer) on both my original flights and I’m very disappointed I don’t have them on either flight tomorrow. I apologize for such a lengthy message; I didn’t expect to have to deal with flight changes that would disrupt my trip.

Missing Dark Mode and Slide Over. The new UI incorporates a lot more bright white screens. That is super jarring for any user running dark mode in iOS 13. Please allow for the UI to change dynamically between light and dark to match the system state. The app should also take advantage of the new slide over/split screen functionality on the iPad. The app is currently to spread out and hard to use on the larger iPad Pros, but with slide one it would look just like the iPhone version! That would be so nice to have because then the app would be much more useful when having to have safari, calendar, email, etc. open at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a very loyal Diamond Medallion and the Delta app is considerably better than other airlines - but as the app gets better and I use it more, these other features matter even more to me. Especially because the Delta website is considerably worse than the app when it comes to mobile interaction and information consumption.

Poor inflight service, delays and 3-5 hr waits to contact a customer service rep. Our last flt from anchorage to Chattanooga was a disaster. Have been flying delta for years and have 90+% of the time had a great exp. 1 flt from anchorage to seatle was good 2 flt from seatle to Atlanta - 5 hrs, comfort plus, was never offered a snack or food to purchase 3 flt from Atlanta to Chattanooga - the wheels came off. Multiple delays with flt. Ultimately was told pilot would be available at 1:45AM - 3+ hrs from original flt. Ultimately we were instructed to go to delta customer service. They were helpful and was given a voucher for a room at Marriott courtyard and breakfast. Boarded after midnight on a shuttle bus with 50 new friends. Upon arrival, the Marriott front desk was not aware we were coming and DID NOT honor the delta voucher. We pd, went to bed and out the day behind us. Got up at 3 am for our first flt and the day ended at 2 am. A long day. To date we ha e not been able to speak with a service rep - 3-5+ hr waits. Still don’t know if our hotel expense will be covered since Marriott didn’t honor the delta room voucher. We fly delta again tomorrow. We sincerely hope we have a better experience. We have been silver medallion members for years. I hope to hear from someone- soon.

I’m not happy. Delta made an equipment change so my seat was down graded from economy plus to economy. I was wait listed for one of three available first class seats using my regional pass and Platium status awhile ago. My origami flight was booked lax to Westchester in economy plus, when my ticket was changed lax-jfk the agent apparently booked me in economy and did an automatic upgrade due to my status to economy plus. So Delta feels this down grade is ok! As my choice airlines and platinum member I thought there would be a possibility of just upgrading me from the waiting list to a first class seat which is available since the economy plus seats are full. Why spend 100,00+ on my Delta card if there is no consideration in maintaining my booked seat. I’m upset and disappointed in the change that was made due to your equipment change. When there are options to help out a customer maybe Delta revenue should not be it’s only priority. During COVID you did not want to refund my dollars on flight I was not able to take but offered credit which I’m still holding. I’m simply disappointed that now that I’m back flying my experience has been negative and disappointing.

Disappointed. Dear Delta Customer Service, You really let me down today. I booked a flight using the Delta App and when I went to pay, it did not give me my flight confirmation details to confirm the flight was accurate. When I got the email confirmation, it was for the wrong day. When I went back to change the flight (I called your customer support line IMMEDIATELY), the customer service representative charged me an additional 11,000 points to change the flight - and it was just booked moments ago. The representative told me the price was higher based on demand. I was online at the same time, trying to see this mysterious cost increase as there were dozens of flights at the same exact cost! And the same flight he booked me on, there was NO additional costs associated with my flight. I basically got completely ripped off by the app and your customer support representative. To top it all off, I decided to use my points because my flight was last minute to attend and conduct my brothers memorial service. In the future, I will fly Alaska Airlines. They treat their customers better. I’m so very disappointed in Delta. It’s a shame because Delta was always the beat airlines. Now, it feels more like American Airlines... and they are just horrible.

Paid twice for flight. On top of wait times being astronomical to ever speak to any representative and get any help, having made a change to our flight months in advance the app was confused/ whoever originally helped me change the flight messed things up. I showed up the day my flight was scheduled for (originally scheduled for the day prior - but rescheduled months in advanced for the day after - after they changed our flight time with no notice other than an email I spoke to a representative who got us on a flight for a different time. The app confirmed this change was made and consistently told me the change was made, upon arriving at the airport it was chaos in their check bag line while for 20 min they only had one woman checking bags and about 50 people waiting in line. I finally made my way to check my bag and was told my flight was the day prior, I asked the woman checking my bag multiple times to look at the app that my flight was no doubt scheduled for the current day and she continued to not acknowledge this and just told me I could purchase tickets for a new flight on the spot. 300$ later and I got to get on a flight that I had already paid for as she continued to refuse to acknowledge the FACT that my flight was scheduled on the app for the day I arrived. Bogus, malarkey - I am infuriated

Do NOT fly Delta. I am so beyond upset and frustrated with Delta Airlines. I bought a round trip flight back to Oregon for thanksgiving, already paying over $300 to get home for the holidays. Unexpectedly, on Tuesday before Thanksgiving my uncle passed away. I took the first one way flight I could find to get home to my family. I was unaware that because I missed the first flight, my return flight was cancelled as well EVEN THOUGH I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR IT, i did not receive anything via email or phone stating that my flight home was cancelled. I spoke to 6 different people who had absolutely no empathy. Even after providing the funeral home information, one representative stated that my story had changed.. she stated that I mentioned in the first call that it was my father passed away, which I NEVER said (check the recording.) I was in tears trying to get on a flight that I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR and spoke with 6 horrible, rude representatives all lacking empathy. I will be sure to NEVER fly delta again after this horrible and emotionally draining experience and I will tell everyone I know, including my company with over 30,000 employees to never fly Delta again. I am absolutely horrified that this is the way you treat your customers.

Your fault. Usually I’m super humbled and just glad to get home. But this time feels different. I felt like you treated us like trash…. And this time it was clearly your fault…! You cancelled my flight because you didn’t have a flight crew. You told us minutes before we were suppose to board. I called and you said you would call me back in an hour. I noticed other routes I probably could’ve taken to get to my destination, but you did not provide the proper amount of help physically or digitally in quality time. I know it’s difficult to control people’s emotions but I worked hard to stay humble. We finally got seat assignments on another flight for much later that day.. you degraded our seats to Delta Comfort. My question for you.. How can your systems decipher alternate routes much quicker and send info to us digitally so that we are not waiting in emotional lines with dissatisfied customers and stressed employees. Also.. I’m a Gold Medallion member. Although that feels like that doesn’t mean much these days… It would have been nice if you offered us passes to the lounge, at least. I would’ve paid for them, but you don’t offer that anymore as well. I feel I’m owed more than just the balance difference between my original first class ticket to Comfort +…

The User Interface Needs Work. I've used the app for two trips at this point and want to like it, but I really struggled with it in moments that are simply inexcusable. On the first trip the feature that switches between flights/boarding passes was completely nonobvious to me. Eventually I stumbled onto the drop down menu (which was docked at the top of the boarding pass view), but it took awhile. On my second trip the boarding pass view presented me with a warning regarding a flight delay and I couldn't get the flight drop down menu to work at all. The boarding pass view defaulted to showing me my second flight's boarding pass rather than the first (???) and there was nothing I could do about it. I managed to get through security without a boarding pass and got a paper pass printed at the gate. Later I noticed the delay warning on the boarding pass screen actually had a tiny 'x' in the top corner which was nearly invisible. When I tapped it the flight delay warning went away and the flight drop down menu suddenly started working. Once again, it was completely nonobvious to me what the problem was. It's really disappointing to experience such trouble over tiny things that can be so easily avoided. Better design/testing is needed.

Imploding Airline. Let me start by saying that I am not one to complain. Something very drastic has to occur before I become irate. Delta has managed to bring that out. This review is in reference to I recent trip I made from West Palm Beach to Cleveland. (both going and coming). To Cleveland: 1st leg to Atlanta….unknown 1 hour delay, 2nd leg, no flight attendant. Another 1/2 hour delay. I’m sure we could have taken off without a peanut distributor aboard. Return trip: 1st leg….1 hour delay which made the connecting flight impossible. (This delay was texted to my phone 1 hour before I had to leave for the airport).American Airlines had a seat that could have gotten me to West Palm, but Delta could not access that information in their system. Now I’m stuck in Cleveland overnight with a new flight that leaves at 6 am. They gave me 3 options for hotel reservations. 2 of them had shuttles that ran to the airport from 8 am to 10 pm. 1 of them had NO airport shuttle. My flight leaves at SIX! I won’t get into what happened next, just know that Delta could care less about how their customers are inconvenienced. If I wanted to get home the next day, I would have booked it that way. Now I’m hoping my rebooked flight has no issues. As a side note, they issued me a $25 food voucher, that didn’t work. I was also on a Delta flight 3 months ago with the same flight crew issues. I wish you luck if you choose Delta for your next adventure. Trust me….it WILL BE an adventure.

Obnoxious desire to be rated. Is Delta so insecure about needing a review that I need to get a notification every 5 minutes until I do so? Ok well then here is the review... I am very unhappy about the pervasive self-serving attitude of Delta and many of its employees. This is especially true at ECP Florida beaches International Airport. My father died and my son and wife were unable to make the funeral service the next day in Minneapolis because Delta cancelled their flight due to “mechanical” problems. Do you think that there would be some empathy or compassion expressed by Delta representatives. When my wife tried to cancel the ticket because Delta said they had no way of getting there on time they said the only way they would refund the ticket would be if I provided a death certificate. Ok, they created the problem and then they want me to go through hoops so I can fulfill their bureaucratic requirement designed to hang onto those precious dollars. Greedy, cold, indifferent and uncaring. That is really messed up and shows how much Delta cares about you as a customer. Pathetic. My family did miss my Dad’s funeral... thanks for the great service and empathy Delta! Oh by the way the “bereavement” fares offered by Delta are actually higher priced than the daily fares offered by Expedia and others.

Delta screwed me and now won’t assist with compensation. I’m sorry, but I have nowhere else to vent because customer service is unreachable with this airline that doesn’t care at all about their customers. I had a scheduled flight home from an airport, through delta, when the news comes in that there are multiple delays. Of course, delta refused to tell me what was going on, until beyond midnight when the flight was canceled. It was at this point that we were informed that the flight to the same area the night before was canceled, because of a issue with the lavatory, and it was not fixed by the time the rescheduled flight was scheduled, so they gave the other flight our plane, and attempted to fix the issue within the other plane. The fix they had in mind failed, and they knew hours before that the plane would never leave the ground. They waited until the doors were locked in the airport, circumventing the responsibility to book hotels. We were forced to sleep in the airport, which was truly miserable, and were able to fly a different airline the next day. I am now contacting them to receive a full refund, but it is nearly impossible to reach the department I need. There is no way in the world we will ever fly with this horrifying mess of an airline again.

Delta Stinks. My daughter and her 3 year old and 8 month old sons just flew Delta from HELENA MT to ATLANTA GA. Her flight left Helena and was was rerouted to IDAHO FALLS ID due to engine problems. No problem there- this happens. The problem was once there my daughter’s seats were given to another passenger- again this happens but her luggage, including her car seats were on the plane she was supposed to be on. I would have driven from MT to ID to pick them up but without car seats it was impossible. My daughter tried to tell two attendants she was supposed to be on that flight and they rudely told her she was wrong. Later they saw that she was in fact supposed to be on the flight that left without her. She was stranded in the airport with two little ones for HOURS before being bused, with rental car seats, to SALT LAKE CITY where she was put up in a hotel for a couple hours before her early flight to ATLANTA. Her reason for flying to ATLANTA was for her grandmother’s funeral which she missed and just barely made the graveside service. I will NEVER fly Delta again and will tell EVERYONE I known to do the same. This isn’t the first time we’ve had problems with Delta but this will surely be the last!! How in the world do you not check the log and why was her luggage and car seats on the flight without her. Sounds like a big security breech to me! Delta stinks!!!!

Has gone backwards. It doesn't do many of the things I would have expected: tell me my gate, give me real time status updates on flights, have terminal maps for connections, or note which claim my bags are on. Frankly a great airline app should act as a personal red coat: give me the info I need right now for what I am doing. So before I take-off it should say "hi, you flight is on-time at XX:XX from Gate 23 in Terminal 2, click here to check-in," when landing in ATL for a cx, it should say "you're arriving at gate B20 and your next flight is on time at XX:XX from gate E10. The closest SkyClub is B17 and click here for a map." When landing, it should say some like "Welcome to LA, you are arriving at gate 53 and your bags will be at claim 3 in Terminal 5". Then, if delayed, it would be great if I saw an IRROPS link with "we're sorry that our flights are late today, but click here to see your new flight options". Just some ideas on an app that would actually help make travel easier.

Delta Upgrade. I always book my tickets through Delta because of their professionalism, but this time I was disappointed. I arrived at the airport earlier than expected and I decided to upgrade my entire family. I was asked for my credit card and was told that, prior to boarding, someone was going to call me to provide me information about the upgrade. I waited another two hours and nobody called us. To my surprised, the hold on my credit card is still active even though I was never provided with the services. In addition, I had spent two hours on the phone, prior to my departure, asking for live TV. The representative on the phone stated that I was going to be able to watch live TV in the plane and even provided me with someone to chat with who confirmed the information in writing. Not only was I not able to watch live tv, but I was charged 30 dollars for wifi which I, unfortunately, never had access to on the plane. This experience has left me wondering if the representatives are trained to provide accurate inflection. Customers only ask for honesty in the process. If the aforementioned were not available, the representatives should have just told me. The truth is all I wanted!

Insurance Integration NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. I being the smart, responsible, fully self-aware individual I am pre-purchased flight insurance (I always will because I know me). However, the insane run around I’m receiving right now is out of this world. (Great thing I find runs relaxing.) It would be a great stride in your overall end user experience if insurance claims could be integrated into the app. Let’s be honest, with programming being where it is these days this is completely possible. I’ve already designed the flow in my mind and would be happy to have a chat with you on how to roll this out or I can leave this as a gift to you to do with it what you will. For right now: 1) I’ve been given the wrong information by the third party (2) customer service phone attendant and only now after (3) several calls have been informed after I leveraged my temper to inspire the lazy attendant to get out of autopilot and double check her information (4) that the insurance company isn’t open until Monday. What is this? 1950? I don’t even need to speak to an agent if I have a car wreck and this is by far less dramatic well until I left my review but now this is officially a situation. Fix it in Jesus name!

Disappointed. I am extremely disappointed with Delta. In an effort to appease customers with a Delta canceled flight Delta packed my flight to 100% capacity. At what point do you decide that customers expecting you to honor your policy that you voluntarily set in place deserve to not receive the benefits of that policy? Customer service is very poor. I called to speak with a representative and the message I received said I would speak with a representative in 58 minutes. Over 90 minutes and I am still on hold. I chose to stay on hold because the last time I chose for a representative to call me back in an allotted time I received a text 2 hours after the allotted time asking if I still needed assistance. I attempted to use the text message option in the Delta app and I was repeatedly sent the same information that I already had access to on the app. Also when I attempted to book a flight with the app the price of the specific flight I chose tripled in the less than 1 minute it took to click the required responses. The app often has the message that it is offline or can’t process my request. In speaking with other members of my family they have had the same experience with the app not being able to process. I have been a loyal customer to Delta since I began flying when my daughter’s family moved half way across the country. I would love to continue to use Delta. Please consider all the contents of this message. Thank you.

Absolutely horrible.. currently waiting nearly 24 hours after delta cancelled flight. Absolutely horrible experience. Not with the app but with Delta as a whole. We flew from MSP to SEA and landed around noon with a connecting flight to Hawaii at 3:45pm. The flight kept getting delayed an hour at a time until around 8 they announced that we could start boarding. Everyone was on the plane and ready to go when around 9, the caption announced that due to weather, and an employee running over the fuel hose, that the flight was going to be cancelled… he told us that there was a booth that would be assisting everyone with finding hotels and rebooking flights. Well, we stood in line for over an hour when they announced that they were closing the help booth at 11pm. Mind you, half of the people on the flight were still in line and not offered any assistance in the slightest. We were just left on our own to find our own sleeping accommodations. They also announced that the help booth would reopen at 4am. The employees at the help desk didn’t show up until 4:15 and 4:20am, and it is currently 6am and we are barely half way through the line. This is absolutely ridiculous and after this horrible experience, I will never fly delta again if they do not make this right. I will post updates when we get through this madness..

I LOVE DELTA. I am loyal to very few large companies on this planet. My loyalty often winds up local whenever possible. However, with Delta, I feel as proud to be a loyalist as I do with a local business. They treat me right. When you earn status, IT MEANS SOMETHING! I capitalize that because with another major airline, my status I earned that was similar when I lived elsewhere and flew them a lot did nothing for me in comparison. I could go on and on about why I love Delta, but I’ll just end with the fact that they really try. They’ve improved. They’re staff is overwhelmingly good, and for a huge business like this, that is not easy. I’m a Delta loyalist for the rest of my days. The app works seamlessly by the way. I am supposed to mention that huh? Truly perfect app that will tell me right when my bags are loaded on the plane, at baggage claim, the whole 9’yards. Thanks Delta for being a good company. I hope this review makes someone happy, because I run a business and can’t even express the amount of people in your employ that have impressed and delighted me in my travels. Cheers! Flying you tomorrow!

The Gold Standard. I travel a lot and I’m not loyal to any airline, money talks. With this in mind, I’ve traveled domestic and international with many airlines and have used, or attempted to use, all of their apps. Interoperability with Delta website. If you purchased your tickets via website, good news! The app will interface seamlessly with website purchases. Not all airline apps do this. Ease of use. Once logged in to the app, you have the option of staying logged in between sessions which is fantastic when you are traveling. This makes it easy to access your digital boarding pass. I made my first trip with just a carry on bag and an e-ticket by checking in on the app. This eliminated the trip to the kiosk or ticket counter. The entire time I was in the terminal, I kept thinking I was doing something wrong. I showed the e-ticket to security and the gate agent; that’s it!! Updates. There were many reminders as appropriate. This include: Check in 24 hrs prior Gate information Departure and arrival updates Boarding advisories Luggage advisories The app has a lot of great features, some found in other airline apps, some not. Some of these features include: Purchase tickets Update personal information needed to fly and TSA Flight tracking Terminal maps with GPS location to navigate the terminal Show boarding pass without logging into smartphone Skymile data ...and more. This is a must have app to fly in today’s electronic world.

App continues to improve!. Over the past year developers have clearly been working in the background to improve the reliability of this app! What I’d like to see is more capability on the Apple WatchOS integration so that boarding passes are displayed (rather than having to save to Apple Wallet), more responsive countdown to flight and something as simple as flight is still on time or it’s time to check in. Especially when the user has a Watch that has cellular connectivity turned on for the Delta WatchOS installed app. Second, when using the app to book a ticket for a family member (and I’m not traveling), pls consider a way to segregate or filter the “My Trips” tab/section so that I don’t see their trip listed with my travel in iPhone (not an issue on iPad where travel for others is not listed in My Trips). If I’ve already included their Skymiles member number, and I’m not flying, it should not be in My Trips upcoming reservations. Last, it would be great to see some additional capabilities added to how the app functions on iPads - or better yet, bring back the Delta iPad App! Integration w onboard WiFi, access to inflight entertainment and flight status/map would be welcomed. Right now, iPads rely on a iPhone designed app that doesn’t adjust to phone / tablet viewable /screen size and the experience is awkward on the iPad.

Very Disappointing. Hardly anything works on this airline. Let’s start with the good stuff. You have excellent pilots. Smooth takeoff and landings very professional during the flight. Now the bad news. The staff at the counters are awful. They are rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. They obviously hate their jobs because everyone is treated like dirt. All three counter staff that I worked with were horrible. The website and app were equally bad. It doesn’t show my reservation or tickets. I couldn’t check in. I called customer service for help, but it took two calls and over two hours to resolve my problems. My flight had been cancelled and I was trying to get on another flight. Plus I got the wrong information on where to check in. I was first told to go to the Delta counter, but since I had a codeshare flight I couldn’t check in and the other airlines’ check in counter was on the other side of the airport. I had to walk a mile to get to the right place. Also I couldn’t get boarding passes for the multiple stops. At each airport, I had to wait in line repeatedly to get a boarding pass to the next stop. Finally every flight was delayed. Nothing was on time. You guys have your work cut out for you. This is the worst major airline I’ve been on.

Slow, uninformative, constantly upselling. This app is not primarily focused on passengers. If it were, it would be easier to find the info passengers need or want, and there would be fewer intrusions trying to get us to spend more on frills. This upselling is especially annoying when it happens more than once for the same flight. Check-in should only be necessary once, rather than completing successfully only to show that you still need to check in. Gate numbers and boarding times should not be a closely guarded secret. Reminders would be helpful, and other airline apps do this easily, while this one doesn’t seem to do it at all. Lastly, the legacy software that processes passenger records makes stupid errors that are reflected both in the Delta app and in printed boarding passes. So when I book through an online aggregator I get to see my middle initial tacked on to the end of my first name (“ROBERTP”). I realize that Delta is probably still using legacy software dating in part from the 1960s, but this is ridiculous. It also earned me a brief lecture from a TSA agent in Atlanta, who assumed I had entered my name that way on purpose. None of this gives me a lot of confidence in how Delta does things behind the scenes.

Horrible gate agents at DTW. We arrived at DTW over 2 hours before our flight. We walked into the departure area and were told that we needed to go up one floor. After going up one floor and getting into line a male gate agent told us we needed to follow him down two floors to check in. After going through security a gate agent saw we had checked baggage and told us we needed to go back up two floors and go to the end of the line. When we arrived up those two floors, where we already there I asked a gate agent exactly what we needed to do. She was very abrasive and when I turned to walk away to go where she told us she called me STUPID behind my back. My wife was behind me and heard her and said that’s not acceptable. The female gate agent who I photographed argued with my wife. We went through security again and arrived at our gate as the plane was boarding. We arrived early to get through security and grab breakfast before our flight. Because of the directions of gate agents it took us over 2 hours to get through security which did not allow time to have food for breakfast. I fly Delta 95% of the time and have never experienced this type of egregious behavior by gate agents and to be called Stupid behind my back by a Delta employee is totally unacceptable. I am so angry and frustrated to have been treated in the manner we were.

Completely unprofessional. We purchased first class tickets and were boarded. We were informed that there were no pilots and forced to deboard. My mother has dementia and a heart condition that causes blood clots. She not only couldn’t get her extra meds for the clotting problem but we were rebooked in economy seated apart. She is tall and in real danger of a blood clot when having to sit cramped. Thus the reason for us purchasing first class tickets. We were not compensated in any way even though according to the faa there were no weather delays that this was poor management of staff. We had to pay for our own hotel. We got through the rebooking too late to find foods that met our specific dietary restrictions. So we are not only tired and my mother in danger but we are very hungry. I expect that all of our money be refunded and not a voucher for a future flight as we are very unlikely to fly delta again after the rude treatment we received. Do better. By the way, we were made aware of a delay before we left our original destination which was close to a military hospital where we could have stayed and gotten a small prescription for my mother. We packed her meds into her suitcase right before we boarded as our destination does have these meds and if our flight had continued she would not have needed additional meds. We were told we could not retrieve her bag. Are you immune to the Americans with disabilities act? I would be very curious to find out.

Let me keep my roller bag. Great plane, had screens at every seat, clean, staff was professional and very neat in appearance. Two things, announcement volume was very loud and sure to scare you from a plane nap which are hard to come by- and a few too many messages welcoming me from Delta. Second, I was going to be cutting it close in time for a rehearsal dinner an hour out of Atlanta and only in town for 48 hours so didn’t pack much so just took a carry on. They announced that they had no more roller bag room just as I was next to board. The ticket agent assured me I could check if there was room and could keep my bag if there was room. However a luggage guy came and snatched it away from me as ticket agent put a tag on it and TA DA! I now had to wait for my baggage and go to baggage claim despite my careful planning and several volunteers putting their bags for ticketing. AND there was PLENTY of room on the plane for more bags and I was one of last third to board. Feel like I was VOLUNTOLD. Let me keep my roller bag or truly let me check first and if no room I will gladly forfeit.

A hot mess. Delta, which is a normally excellent airline, in my opinion, the best US airline, is really taking them self to a new low and I’m not even sure they know it…. Why you ask? I can tell you the experience I had with Delta Airlines today attempting to book tickets was unlike any other I’ve ever experienced. They sold the tickets right out from under me while they were in my cart with passenger names on them essentially because they offer so many bells and whistles so to speak so many offers so many things to redeem so many vouchers certificates credit cards special things. Etc… that their system can no longer handle administering and selling tickets with all of these bells and whistles They have Added on it’s a complete nightmare. Bravo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the hot mess you have created Delta 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼maybe you should think twice 🧐🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 before you offer any more special incentives, bells, and whistles or packed clubs that you can’t even let a person into who already paid for a membership. Bravo building the countries best and largest hot mess of an airline. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I think United is looking better and better.

Road Warrior Loves Delta. I have flown domestics weekly for work for more than 15 years. I am a die hard, dedicated Delta fan. I think I fly more hours to an some flight attendants. Of course there are the occasional delayed flights due to mechanical or weather which no one has control over, but the frequency of those inconveniences have been a small percentage compared to my total travel flights. I once took 2 days off work to earn MQMs. I flew from Orlando to JFK to Amsterdam to Johannesburg South Africa. I spent 23 hrs in Johannesburg and flew back. And I did this crazy long trip so I maintained my Diamond status for the next year. Other airlines don’t come close to the consistent customer service Delta provides. I love the Delta perks they offer with Diamonds status. Things are different since COVID and I don’t get upgrades like I did previously and I don’t care for the Sky Club wait lines in Atlanta but again those are minute compared to incredible service Delta provides. I could easily book with another airline and get many more direct flights but I chose Delta and go thru Atlanta every week. Pretty sure I’ll have to go thru Atlanta when I die. Thanks Delta for making my weekly travel more enjoyable and something I can rely on every week.

Ruined my luggage!. Delta has been exceptional in every way, well, except for 1 small thing .... when I got my luggage, upon arrival, my back was soaking wet. I had people waiting outside so I had to hurry. I figured if anything was really wrong with my things that I’d contact Delta & they’d handle it. Even the bad airlines will, at the very least, give you something for the loss or damage of your property that occurred while in they’re possession. Delta wants me to pay $30 just to file a claim with no guarantee of replacement or reimbursement. You’ve already set me back being I had to replace most of the clothes, gifts, & personal items that I brought & had to replace. So sad because other than that I’ve enjoyed Delta. I’m not a man of means, I’m a carpenter, so I don’t make the kind of money where I can just get new stuff & move on. Spending the money I had to, to replace all the missing & damaged stuff, left me with just enough to get home. I wish i wasn’t writing this because, like I said, I was happy in all other ways with Delta. It’s likely it won’t ever happen again if I stayed using Delta but I literally can’t afford a $1,000 + gamble, especially when there’s zero accountability from Delta when it comes to your property. Sorry.

Disaster app!. App never new where I was and could never separate first flight from connecting flight yesterday and today. Today it never registered I had switched flight one and never adjusted the connecting flight. Had to do it in person when I arrived in ATL. Phone wait 5-7 hours, wow! Text suggestion useless and a waste of time. I left OKC at 12:10 their time and am still in ATL at 5.00 pm with flight delayed to 6:58, the flight I rebooked in person as I was unable to do it by app or phone or text, what was I thinking. This was my first business trip since Covid and Delta seem to have lost the thread as a service airline. Perhaps American or United have regrouped given the down time, will check them out for the next trip. Will not get home for another five hours, after five plus hours to date. Bad things happen on connecting through Atlanta! I hope this review links to me so one can read it with some understanding of a loyal Delta fan who just got run over by your app and make everyone connect through Atlanta decision.

Not as good as it used to be. Overall the app is pretty good but there's a few annoyances I have with it compared to other airlines' apps. My primary use for the app is for showing a boarding pass and for flight updates. I'm hoping they can address these issues. During the boarding process they could really use more push notifications. I had a flight board early and I had no idea until I happened to load the app and see that it says that it was boarding early. IIRC they used to do way more such as when your boarding group was called. Alaska's app will send push notifications for these kinds of events. They also need to fix the swipe gestures when you view your boarding pass. I had a flight with a layover and there was another ticket for my kid--so swiping will toggle between the legs of your trip or the tickets for the legs based on where you swipe. It's really easy to do the wrong swipe gestures and view the wrong leg of your trip. Tried to get into the wrong seat because of this. IMO tabs would be a way to organize this that makes it harder to get into the wrong view based on an incorrectly placed swipe.

Great Airline to fly with. Couldn't fault it.. Chose Delta to fly with when booking our flights for USA. Couldn't fault them. Will fly again with them next time we visit. Thank you Delta Airlines.

Poor Quality App links with email check in. I have 3 airline apps. This is by far the most underperforming app. Nothing appears to be hyper linked between app, check in links on email notifications and check in - links between all 3 do not appear to be linked. I checked in via email - after x4 attempts using my confirmation no. in the correct series and case it wouldn’t recognise despite having the hyperlink in my booking / flight confirmation email. I went to an original purchase confirmation no. and my check in was finally accepted using a different confirmation no. I conpleted check in but it would not add to my apple wallett - double checked my apple wallet - all good there. I downloaded the fly delta app to get my QR code to print off tickets at kiosk - a debarkle! check in wasn’t recognised started the while check in process again using the original and latest confirmation no. - none worked. Guess what? I scanned my passport at the airport kiosk, all my details came up, printed my tickets, and checked in. Easy. If Delta are goung to use a digital self service somution, all links between apps, pages and back end engines need to work - it just unwound all the good lead up you were creating via your notifications.

Awesome app, a great reason to choose Delta. This is the best airline app ever, definitely a point of difference to choose Delta over another airline. Can choose seats, see plane seating map with wing & toilet position, choose meals & upgrade to Comfort Plus. It tells you when a reschedule has resulted in insufficient time between sectors. Great having all flights visible so I can leave my paper itinerary at home!

It's good!. Having booked all my domestic flights with Delta for my overseas trip, the app has been really useful in finding flights. It also maintains my booking information and gives me additional information about the aircraft, maps of airports and options you might like to add on to your trip. Another good thing is it can easily give you multiple options for flight paths to take if you are traveling across a few states and needed to have a layover if you don't want to go completely direct. Also having changed a flight and upgrading the app instantly updates itself with changes made. Pretty useful and easy for someone outside the US looking for flights. The only thing I do wish it had is an option to change its currency so you can see how much it is exactly in your currency and not just USD. Otherwise good and decent app!.

Looks nice but no cigar ...needs work just yet. I downloaded this today and I notice some flaws already (some of which are actually more on the backend of theor website I believe) 1) Connecting flights: If say I have a trip from Sydney Australia to Atlanta , there is landfall and a change of aircraft in LAX. So you get to LAX and you may well be scratching your head wondering about your connection. needs to show all connections to the destination even if it is the same flight number. In This case DL16 is a broken trip as is DL17 on the return...connections are NOT shown. 2) Seat Assignments: only shows you one of the two in this example and no map that I can see. 3) Phone number: Looks not to allow a '+' for users to denote an overseas phone number Hey I could be wrong and all of this is accessible, just saying that if it is I can't find it..which then becomes a navigability issue. Sure looks pretty, just needs the functionality to back that up. For now I'll stick to the website until someone gets this thing working as it should. I hope this is all sorted before Xmas when I travel.

Good luck checking in if your name has special characters. It's 2023 and it's amazing that some apps still don't understand special characters. Tried to check in, asked me to correct last name, the won't allow me to edit last name...waste of time.

Delta app.. Great easy to use app. Works really well, quick & friendly.

Apps great but airline isn't the best!. Love the app great functions works well. Airline changed our seats without telling us and tried to make us pay for the seat. We are a family of 6 and have 2 rows with 3 seats. They move my little sister right down the back of the plane then moved us back to the centre row with out all of us. We had all the seats together. NOT HAPPY DELTA!!

Worse Travel Experience Ever. Two cancellations (without excuse) and a further delay (again without excuse) and we are finally due to depart 3 days, 2.5 hours late into a 10 day trip from Australia to the US. You can appreciate how let down we feel. I don’t understand how it is not reckoned to be criminal conduct. I only gave one star because I couldn’t give zero

Log on. I could not log into an account I just opened. User name and pw correct but it would not let me log on and now I can’t get the Miles

Easy. Great App no fuss very easy

Delta lounges. I enjoy flying with Delta but unfortunately the rules change every time I am flying somewhere in the USA I was under the understanding that my gold virgin status would give me access to delta lounges when reading websites it states I can use my access pass But I keep getting told on this trip it is for international Travel only and not for domestic travel Your terms need to be set clear as I have been grated access and not granted access this all depends on the person at the desk to your lounges Looking forward to continue flying with delta

Easy app. Easy and friendly app...thanks DL!

Surprised at the level of empathy. They were there getting in done in this complex COVIT time. Tests taking much longer then committed. Delta stepped up with refunds and flexibility of alternate flights. Will definitely fly with them at every opportunity. :-)

Great App. Great service, fantastic App that makes life easy. Designated seats, good reasonably priced extras on board, free entertainment, free basic snacks, good deals on bags including golf clubs. I’m impressed. Much better than most internal USA airlines. Thanks Delta!

Great planes and service. Thank you. Thank you

Just one click away. This time I had to change the dates of my travel and then again change the seat, everything was so smooth and it was just a click away. Thank you!

Dark Mode Request. Please allow it to work with Dark Mode. AA already did,

It’s a great app. Works very well

Fantastic App for Travellers. Best airline app in the business. So easy to use and makes travel so much easier.

Fantastic App. This app is fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised with how effective it was in managing my bookings. Not only does it allow you to perform all the tasks you want related to your flights with absolute ease, but it has never let me down. Let's hope it stays this way! Keep up the good work.

Great service. This trip has been our first time traveling Delta, we have been impressed with the service from the check in right up to ease of collection of our checked in bags. The check in at San Francisco for our flight to LA was particularly easy, the gentleman on the check in desk was very helpful

Delay out of DTW. Delayed with little information - just every 30 minutes another delay. Very disappointing.

Very difficult to Navigate. Site is not Language friendly. Have called helpline. No solution. It’s always in French. No available tab on the app to switch between languages.

Amazing. Lets me check in online. Let’s me pay for my luggage and it is like everything all in one. Must get. I wish I knew if this company sooner

The worst app ever. It is impossible to complete the checkin process if you are not staying in the US arriving in transit from another country You have to lie to get the app to produce a boarding pass

Fast and Easy. Thanks for something that works!

Can’t use. Crashes every time I open it

Upgrade. Tried to upgrade multiple times. From Canada and when I purchase, it asks me to enter a valide state???

Poor integration of arrive can uploads. Poor I tentation of arrive can uploads Took me forever to check in

Cant change seats on uour app or website long wait on phone. Im not able to change seat on your website or app & i think it might be because it was booked over hotwire.com as it says seat will be assigned at gate which by then all good seats will be sold out. Now on the phone and i cant get hold of anyone after long long waits Will not pick Delta on my next flight when purchasing from third party

Worst airline app ever. Horrible

Khuzema. Excellent service

Pas bilingue. Pas en français Ma conjointe n’a pas été en mesure de faire son chek in

Crashes. App no longer works on iPhone, crashes on startup.

Poor App Performance. Shame you can’t perform a basic function as updating you current address within the same city 🤦🏾‍♀️. Deleting this app and will actually cease to fly with Delta too.

Checkin Adventure. Long and drawn out checkin.

Dr. Imbenzi George. Excellent Service! Home in the sky!

Useless. Crashes every time I log in

Passport scanning needs fixing. Couldn’t scan passports

Adding. The app keeps adding an extra letter to my name that I did not put in - don’t know why it’s doing that - worried it will say I can’t board as it is not on my passport. Tried everything on the app to remove it but it won’t 😩

Easy and straightforward. Well made app

Complaint. On my flight here, I was ordered to check in my carry on where I had all my medication, laptop, phone, and really needed stuff. Even though I explained to the flight attendant that I was coming for my surgery and that I needed all the things that I had in the carry on. Very rude, she said it was not her problem. It was mine. Why? I was complying with one carry on that the airline allowed. She forced me to take EVERYTHING from my carry one. All my medication spilled on the floor. I has to spend 15 m picking everything up. I had to BEG her to give me a bag to put everything. And unwillingly she did. Awful customer service, awful treatment, awful experience. I hope I do not have the same experience on milt flight back.

Unable to pay for my luggage. From the application I’m unable to pay for my luggage. I’m unable to add my Canadian postal code which is alphanumeric value.

So many bugs and error messages. I loved the app when I started flying with delta. But for 6 months now it’s been broken and useless and no one is trying to fix it. I love delta but this makes me want to switch to more user friendly airline.

How many times do I have to answer the same question?. Delta, your App is wasting my time. I fly every week, and I am a million miler, but your app does not know me from Adam, nor does your website with the required COVID info. Not cool!

Great, except passport scanning feature.. After the first person’s passport was scanned the camera feature for the other passengers was flipped upside down and at a 90 degree which made it impossible to scan the images. Therefore even though boarding passes were issued we still had to line up at ticket agent. Fix the bug and you may get more stars

Online check in was awful. Ur app could not find me after entering info several times. Very frustrating!

Bad. Not user friendly at all Constantly entering same data over and over, won’t save. Won’t let you skip bag fee

Kids. Sad that they dont access to check-in the kids unvaccinated. Because of that, we will have to wait to see someone instead of using the machine directly. It took me so long to fill out all the documents for me, my husband and and for kids….but for what??? Disappointing.

Lufthansa is better. Toi long check in’s

Bad Desing. 1. Why should I have to enter my confirmation number to find a flight when I’m logged in? 2. « Modify Flights » option popping an error each time. Have to call delta and wait for 37 mins while enduring crappy compressed music. Please add an option to silence the music pleaaase. Hire proper graduated developers and project owners..

East to use. I fly with Delta all the time I like their app.

Lost iPad Delta is stupid. I left my iPad on a flight and can track it to an exact position, yet there is no way to contact Delta to get it back. A simple call is all it should take but due to Delta being totally stupid on their lost and found department I cannot get it back. Absolute failure by Delta in this area and policy.

Overpriced tickets. Tickets are really expensive on the app.

Doesn’t handle dual citizens. I’m a Canadian/US dual citizen living in Canada. The app can’t deal with me having two passports, almost never allows me to check in online. Very frustrating. I go through entering all the info and at the end I get an error “oops something went wrong” End up standing in line at the airport counter Please fix this

Best airline and best service. Love flying delta Always best service

just let me check in. wont let me check in

Comfortable flight. Travelling in Delta airlines is very convenient and comfortable. I did not have checked in baggage but I had small suitcase. They offered to take it and checkin at the gate at no extra cost. What I liked was, when I was changing flight at Salt Lake City, after boarding I got message that my checked in suitcase was accompanying me. Very thoughtful of them. Thank you 🙏

Can’t find up to date info. This app is so slow to up date relevant information. Eg the gate # is not available till even after boarding the plane! 🙄 You’re better off asking people or relying on paper copies at the airport.

Best airline app in North America. I’ve literally gotten notifications that my connector was delayed mid flight when I was connected to the free messaging wifi….I was able to rebook my connector to a sooner flight within seconds. I love delta.

Horrible Terrible Awful. What a brutal app to use! Meaningless error messages, no advice on required format in some fields, had to re-enter the same information several times

Unusable. Crashes on app open 100% of time lol

Barely works. Wouldn’t allow me to check in. App can’t find my flight. Barely works. Wouldn’t allow me to check in. App can’t find my flight. Really stupid. Just stand in the line, at least THAT works.

App ease tu use. App could be much better user friendly wise

Complicado. Between the app and website it’s very difficult to check in. Very frustrating. The app says email or number but only accepted number. Not cool then vaccinated proof takes forever and says not accepted :( super frustrating. Maddening. I hate flying delta because of this. ALWAYS COMPLICATED.

Worst App Ever. Dont even bother. Just arrive a little earlier and check in with the kiosk or an agent. Complete waste of time. Garbage.

Thanks. It’s good to prepare

Frustrating. Two huge issues with this app. First off I cannot add a second credit card to my account - every time I try I receive a message that says “sorry, we cannot access your profile at this time please try again later”. This prevents me from being able to check my bag through the app. Secondly the matching app on my Apple Watch never synchronizes, so the functionality of the app that I’d like to access on my watch is not there. I’ve been trying with Delta customer service to resolve both of these issues for hours with no success. Very frustrating.

Just unpleasant. My coworker and I are going back home; we can both check him in but not me without explanation. Tried to update some info (might be the issue), can’t change my adresse because adresse is not valid… I don’t know man that’s where I live (yes I tried all possible ways to write it). My app experience has just be very unpleasant, hopefully it goes well at the airport.

Delta App. Easy to use, no issues

Amazing. This app is amazing, it tells you when the tags get loaded. Even the ones from the gate when there is no over head space. Delays Gate changes Which gate it’s boarding at! Even when they start boarding. Easily the most impressive airline app I’ve ever seen!

Delay delay cancel cancel. Unfortunately mechanical issues tried to fix overnight got on next morning and still mechanical issues so day 2 and trying to figure out how to get home. I get things things happen but the unfortunate part was lack of staff to handle this. Couple hours on delta’s direct phones was a no go. A 4 hour 52 min wait to call customer service and was cut off after almost two hrs. Another 90 min on phone and then 2.5 hrs in line at gate. Luckily our travel agent was able to get us last four seats on delta’s afternoon flight but took her several hours and multiple supervisors approvals. Also told last night there are no hotels but if you can find one keep your receipt so you can submit it after you get home. Based on the level of service or I should say lack of I can see this being a nightmare. I will say the flight crew and gate agents were nice and great to deal with as it is not their fault but rather management’s lack of ability to shift their staff from the front desk to open gates to rebook people for the third time. There are still dozens in line to rebook 3 hours later and counting.

Great but the boarding pass being automatically displayed is an issue. The boarding pass being in the app causes the brightness to immediately and automatically be turned all the way up, this is very annoying especially at night. We already have the option to add the pass to Apple Wallet to pull it up when we need to. I appreciate that this was potentially done for convenience but it is really detrimental and inconvenient to keep having to change the brightness only for it to be changed again the second the boarding pass is on the screen. Otherwise I’ve had no issues with this app and love the features. The Apple Watch version does not and has not worked for months; I assume this is still in development. It isn’t a huge deal for me as once the boarding pass is in the Wallet I can pull it up on the Watch.

I love this app but .... The app is great. Well, most of the time. I should have known better. The first leg of my flight was delayed and, when the plane landed, I had 20 minutes to deplane and catch the next flight. No problem. The app said it was the next gate over in the same terminal. Whew! So, plenty of time to go to the bathroom, right? Double checked the app and now it says I’m supposed to go to the next terminal. Ugh. Down the stairs, just missed the train, ran to the next gate. The screen at the gate shows the next plane to my destination leaves in 90 minutes. What??!? Raced around to find a departure screen and lo and behold, my flight really was leaving where I just deplaned. Ran back to the previous terminal. If you’re tracking with me you’re thinking what I’m hoping won’t be true. The gate is now shut, the ramp pulled away and the plane sitting there just like it was mocking me. So, this is the last time I EVER rely on the app. Why the two databases aren’t synced is a mystery. You would think it would be reliable but I hope someone else benefits from my learned lesson. DO NOT RELY on the app.

Delta Flight 1197 NONSTOP ATL to PHX on Saturday, May 21, 2022 was cancelled. NO NOTIFICATION by EMAIL…NO CALL…NO TEXT…we were on the way to ATL airport which takes 2 hours of travel, and were doing a Check-In for John Higham & myself, Denae Higham, when our Flight Info showed FLIGHT CANCELLED!!! We have never had anything this incompetent happen to us…NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLED FLIGHT! TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE!!! CANT FLY OUT NOW UNTIL TOMORROW, SUN, at 8 something AM in the morning with 2 STOPS, which we DID NOT WANT, we only booked through DELTA because of the NONSTOP Flight and this has been an absolute Mess! Once We booked Sunday, May 22 flight, I went to flight info and said FIRST LEG OF FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED and we were scheduled on another one…So what happens if we are on our way and our flight gets cancelled AGAIN??? We have a grandson graduating Sunday afternoon, May 22, and NOT SURE IF WE WILL MAKE IT IN TIME!!! WE WILL NOT FLY DELTA in the future!!!

Impossible to change a simple typo. In my Delta fly ready app there is a typo on my name. If I go into the app to try to correct it it won’t let me make the change. For my last three international flights I could not check in without standing in line to speak to a gate agent. Before my most recent flight I called Delta to try to get this corrected - I was on the phone 2.5 hours to have one letter corrected in my last name. No one could seem to do this! Finally after speaking to three different people I was assured that the problem was solved. IT WAS NOT! On my very next trip I could not check in without going to the gate agent. My husband could have gone to bag drop but because I, once again couldn’t check in we stood in line for over forty minutes. This does not instill confidence or positive feelings toward Delta on my part. This simple correction shouldn’t be this hard. Delta should do better.

Horrible Service. Flight DL383 on March 6, 2023 was oversold and I was asked when checking in if I would volunteer to give up seat for a later flight- I denied. When I arrived at connecting flight on time I was informed that my seat was dropped(along with 6 other people), when I asked why I was ignored for minutes then informed that the departure time was modified (by 4 minutes then changed to 5 minutes for good measure). I haven’t seen times moved up before but seems to be the adjustment that Delta is making to deal with overselling seats without having to compensate customers for their issue of overselling. I was asked to stand at counter past departure time then sent to another counter to get another flight which was the next morning…11 hours later. This was a horrible customer experience that Delta employees went out of their way to be rude to customers for an issue that Delta created. I have flown Delta as exclusively as possible for years but will chose other airlines as much as possible for my employees and me moving forward.

App malfunction. The app is extremely user friendly. However on one occasion for a domestic flight the app would not load my boarding pass, but the agent did look up my information and printed out a hard copy. Overseas, on my way back to the states,I had my boarding pass, and was able to get into the airport and board the plane In Copenhagen. We landed in Amsterdam for our transfer and when we got to the gate my ticket wouldn’t load and the message on the app for the boarding pass basically indicated I hadn’t checked in and I had to see an agent. The agents we great, completely understood it was a glitch and printed out a boarding pass. Not a huge deal by any means. My only worry was if I needed a boarding pass to go through customs again in in Amsterdam(I didn’t). Both times it was easy to get a pass but it seems like it happens often enough because the agents aren’t even phased when you need help

Delta. I prefer other airlines. Leg space is seriously minimal. So close it’s hard to see tv monitor. Web site says we’re checked in and then says we’re not. We entered passport info and clicked save for our departing/returning flight and it didn’t save it when we got to airlines we had to enter it again to just get my checked bag tag. Plus I saved my credit card too for return flight and it didn’t save it. We flew from LAX to Cancun and each brought a carry on with items we didn’t want in checked bags and upon entering plane told it was full so they had to check them and there were spaces all over, even in compartment above my head!! It took stewardess over 1 hr into flight to even start handing out beverages. We were in back of plane and they start at the front. Plus the check your bag line at LAX for delta is a different place now (and the line of people filled the roped area full and then literally outside and halfway down the terminal. You had to start there. Took so long we almost missed our flight. After I return home I won’t be flying delta delta in the future. Staff was nice is all the good part I can say about them

Very flawed verification process for Int’l flight. My 15 yr old is fully vaccinated but no booster. Not required for travel to Spain. Delta FlyReady declined her anyway. I submitted various documents of proof. Still no approval. So just to be safe, she took a Covid test at urgent care that came back negative - clearly stated on the confirmation form. Delta FlyReady declined her and notes that her test was positive. What?!?! I resubmitted and underlined the negative result and just kept getting the message to see the agent at the gate. I called support but they couldn’t assist. I went to the airport the night before our trip and they couldn’t help me because this is outsourced and they didn’t have access. And it was more than 6 hours before the flight so they couldn’t check us in and clear it until the next day. What a stressful situation and a waste of my time and the delta agents to have to verify this instead of helping other customers trying to check in with real issues. Delta…find another company to outsource this to and make sure they get it right and have a way for customers to contact someone instead of stressing before a flight that is already stressful.

Complete Horrible service. I booked and reserved a flight with delta from JFK to Cancun..When I tried to get a boarding pass the night before , it showed only 10 seats taken but would not let me assign my seats which I thought was quite odd. So I leave my house at 4:00 am to get to the airport early enough to have time to check in and get everything situated. I wait in the main line 1 hour to see that my flight was canceled due to weather. So let’s see , there were flights that left JFK earlier to Cancun and a delta flight leaving at 11:00 am and flights all around the metropolitan area of New York and yet my 8:30am flight was the only one canceled because of weather ?? How can this be? Maybe because there weren’t enough of passengers on the flight???? So now I wait an additional 1:45 in a rebooking line to try and get another flight and find out we are rebooked to the next day with 2 connecting flights taking 10 hours while our first flight was a direct flight????? Just amazing So the hotel won’t refund me the $1,000 for the loss of one night, it costs me an extra $400 in car service fees back and forth to the airport and I lose a whole day of income from not working not to mention the aggravation of waiting in lines and trying to get this resolved in some way where I didn’t lose more money. I think it’s time to get an attorney .

Cancelled flight. I have just completed two hours on the phone w a very pleasant delta rep. She was able to successfully rebook my flight after delta canceled it in error. I am pleased w the service today albeit I have had to sit by the side of the road in my car to carry out the transaction. My concern is when I requested some sort of compensation for the canceled flight, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I need to wait until the flight has concluded and THEN go about the business of calling or writing a letter detailing my “recent flight experience”. My choice would be to resolve the issue as soon as possible. I would imagine Delta would also wish to resolve the cancelled flight to the customers satisfaction. I am not okay with being told to wait. I believe I could be offered another avenue in a more timely manner and will continue to attempt to find a resolution before an entire week passes.

It will only take 1 flight on Delta. For 5 years now I fly 90% Delta-and 10% Alaska(only because I have to). I’m From Seattle and it’s so funny how people are so loyal to Alaska when Delta has bypassed them years ago. Their planes are newer, live 17 channel tv in every seat, happier employees with way bigger smiles, get through immediately with a phone call, 20 min or less to retrieve luggage and they haven’t failed in 3 years ever. If you want to see the difference visit the Delta lounge in Seattle and visit Alaska’s lounge. Not even a comparison, actually it’s embarrassing for Alaska. AND MY MILES GO 37% further on Delta. And if you are Diamond Status on a Alaska then Delta will immediately honor that and make you Diamond with them. Take one flight with Delta, and you will see the best airline roaming the sky's! Delta is new and fresh with better perks, while Alaska is just tired and running on fumes! RGS

Delta has Heart!. Weeks after the death of my husband and having made it through Christmas, I thought I was able to stumble through all the “firsts”. New Year’s Eve morning I realized I could not do New Year’s Eve alone and ER doctor daughter working, other daughter back in Vegas, friends all with plans. Spontaneously, I called a Delta agent and cried and explained why I could not stay alone (plus 15 degree below windchill in MI). I was not as strong as I thought and needed to get away. She took so much time and helped me plan an immediate trip to FL, with such good suggestions and I decided on Ft Lauderdale. I stayed at a beautiful hotel right on the ocean in 78 degrees and sun! On boarding I began crying and a flight attendant paid special attention and even wrote me a beautiful supportive note on a Delta napkin that I still have. There’s even more but this is getting too long! I have told everyone I can about Delta with a Heart! ❤️

The pains me to say you may want to choose another carrier. Delta chose to cancel my connector flight while I was in the air heading to high school reunion which caused me to miss the events that I previously paid to attend. The gut wrenching part is when asking for help from the attitude of the customer service was heartless. Then when you really need help and direction you call customer service which you have to wait 1 hour and 45 min to speak to someone. Luckily the customer service lady that I spoke with, Heather, was somewhat helpful and got me to destination 70 miles away which, yes, did get me closer however, I had to arrange transportation which wasn’t easy and costly. Last week when flying, I had no issues from another airline. May want to consider someone else. This hurts to say that being a loyal Delta customer. Let’s see what the twitter folks say

Good with a glaring problem. App works great with lots of useful information. Delta’s flight cancellation process also works great with resumption of cost. The only BIG problem is their absolutely awful system for simply keeping track of the credits to be used on a later flight. Why can‘t Delta simply the credit in my account. Nope. They have a clunky system of “cards” virtual or real that we have to obtain for use on a later flight. Or you have to redeem the refund immediately. Both seem deliberately designed to either force the customer to book a flight they might not really need, or get some silly “card” that could be lost or overlooked, and hence never used. Both to Delta’s benefit and the customers loss. Quit playing silly games. And let me be clear about what it means to me: because of some physical limitations my wife and I ALWAYS fly 1st or business class. This silly game means Delta is not our first or even third choice of airline. It means Delta is the choice of last resort.

Gone downhill. This used to be a great app. I’m a heavy user of the app being a Platinum mediation from only domestic short hop flights. Design wise it’s still the best out there as far as airline apps are concerned. But lately the performance and bugs have caused the app to be frustrating to use. Seat selections are inconsistent from the web, going, I get a lot of spinner icons when I also try to select my seat. Boarding notifications come much later than what is displayed on the gate monitors (so the amazing gate agents are not to blame here). I often have to force shut down the app to get correct data. Overall it feels like there was some backend architecture change that tanked the user experience. One other feature request, for multiple flights in the same day, make it easier to switch between tickets, or even look up the previous flight. Especially if it was not a connector (happens a lot when you need to jump between cities at the last minute). The UX is pretty awful there

Disaster. Our flight out of Minneapolis was delayed an hour and half. When we got to Atlanta, two out of five of our party sprinted to our gate. The other three of us were way back on the plane and couldn’t get off quick enough to get there on time. The two sprinters got to our gate 11 minutes before our flight was to take off. No staff was there. When the gate attendant finally showed up, she refused to let my friends on board. The other three of us got there 5 minutes before the plane was to depart. None of us were able to get on. That was the last flight of the day. The lady in customer service who was helping us after that was really rude and impatient with us. Also, the flight we were on was so full that we were made to check our carry on luggage, so we had nothing with us for sleeping over. Therefore, some of us were left without our necessary medication.

Worst app. Very inefficient when trying to change an existing reservation. There are 2 ‘go back’ arrows you press the wrong one, you have to start your whole. So if you click on the flight you potentially may change to, it will calculate the change fee and price difference, and new total. If you want to compare a price with a different Day, you have to start the search all over again. It just doesn’t make sense. People these day need to be able to make changes themselves and see their options. This app makes it very difficult to do that. Then if you call the phone center. They are even more useless. It seems their computers are really old, and their price quotes are always like $3000 more than the prices I found. Their computers automatically just pick the most expensive flight to quote to customers. Then if you tell them about the flight you found. It takes them like 30 minutes to be able to pull it up themselves. It is infuriating. I am happy that eventually Delta wants to phase out all of the customer service people and replace them with an AI program. So, I suppose it doesn’t make sense for them to update them computer programs they are working with.

Bad trip. I have flown Delta exclusively when it was my choice to fly due to its origins starting in the same area as I’m from and it has always been easy to navigate and great customer service. However this trip was not pleasant at all. Delayed return flight home was supposedly due to toilets not functioning correctly but the cooling system obviously had issues also. It was hot the entire flight back to our layover that was supposed to be LGA but wound up in JFK with no flights to our final destination. After taxing for 30 minutes on the hot plane, we had to stand in two different lines for over an hour in a sea of other hot and angry people just to have the supervisor that could resolve our issues walk off as soon as we reached the counter with no others available. At about midnight Delta put us up in a dilapidated hotel an hour away in the middle of an industrial area. Finally got checked in and went to the bar for food with $15 voucher and everything except appetizers was over $15. When we got back to room NO air conditioning, 82 degrees, and they had no intentions of fixing it or calling anyone who could. The vending machines where either empty or broke, 1 bed and 1 sleeper sofa for 5 people and we had to go back to front desk to get sheets. Still 82 in the room at 9am and the only flight out of NY to Virginia is at 8pm so we will see how the rest of the day goes.

Trash!. I am extremely disappointed by Delta and the Delta application (both this mobile app and the website.) Save yourself a lot of grief and do not book flights with Delta through this app! 6 weeks ago I booked flights for the Christmas holiday. Due to inclement weather I tried to change my flights (just 4 days before Christmas) but could not do so in the mobile app or website because of error messages. Delta customer support investigated and informed me that the flights had been refunded due to unauthorized payment. I never received any notification about refund or unauthorized payment, and the flights are STILL showing up under MyTrips in the app! Why would the flights show up if I am unable to take these flights??? The only options provided by support were to go to the airport to pay in CASH for a new flight or to book an entirely new trip. On top of this wretched experience, the Delta mobile app is unreliable. Services in the app frequently do not work and require navigating bizarrely arranged help articles or chatting with Delta support. Sometimes even just logging into the app is impossible.

Flight Credits - Nightmare!!!!. Our flight got canceled due to Covid back in 2020. We tried using our points that were applied to out account but unfortunately one of the tickets credits got lost (eventually found), the points were not easy to use, and when we paid for the tickets and called in to switch the payment to the points were told that they couldn’t do that until we spoke with a manager. After spending 4 hours waiting on hold and transferred to multiple departments, they informed us that the prices had changed. Eventually they agreed to honor the prices, updated 3 of our 4 tickets, then dropped the call (didn’t call back). The next day we spent another 3 hours and eventually got them all correct. It was a nightmare. I still have some credit but can’t stand Deltas system on trying to use them and might just not even try. I love flying Delta overall from a flight and customer experience once the flights are booked but really wish there support and service were way better or even just way more efficient.

Could be really good.. As a blind person who is also hearing impaired, this app has been great to improve my awareness of what is going on while traveling. I can miss announcements and can’t read signs in airports. So when this app tells me via text that my flight has changed gates, or my section is starting to board, it was amazing access I’ve never had before. Step by step directions to the next gate during a layover could be tweaked to be WCAG compliant, but were also helpful. I was looking forward, when I landed at my destination, to finding out (for the first time ever without trying to find someone who knew) where my checked luggage was and directions out the airport, but…..the second you land, it thinks your done and all that flight info gets erased! Please keep flight info up and available for at least an hour or two after the flight lands! It was very helpful in the layover airports, but it vanishes in the destination airport.

Does not do as they promise. I spent over 45 min on the phone while the representative helped me use miles to upgrade my flight to first class....I verbally confirmed with her numerous times that the amount of miles she quoted would upgrade myself and my co-traveler to first class for the flight to our destination as well as our return flight. Upon getting ready to check in I see our seats are in row 34....not quite first class. After waiting 2 hours for a call back to rectify this I was met with a “sorry, you should have checked on this”. The reps supervisor instructed the rep to let me know it was my fault, even through I had confirmed (again multiple times with the rep that did the upgrade a month ago). There were 3 open seats in first class at the time of this call and delta offered no help in this situation. For a customer that flys often forbvoth work and vacation they sure helped me make my next flight not be on delta.

My lost trip to Fort Wayne. I am extremely disappointed in Delta. I arrived at my gate at the departure time from a connection you made, which was not enough time to make it to the gate. Furthermore, you knew I was on a connector yet you still left me stranded in Fort Wayne. How can I trust to ever book with you if this is always hanging on me that in the future you won’t wait either. It’s a core problem that Delta has, no apathy for the traveler and concerned only about your on time departures and full flights. It’s unspeakable what you did to me, making a 59 year old man run through the Detroit terminal from gate a65 or whatever all the way to the B gates only to find you didn’t hold the plane. You are not the only option I have and no I cannot trust that you have any interest for me specifically except my money. You should follow the Southwest business model as for 20 or more years they have NEVER done this to me and I trust them

Flying Delta. This is the best airline for a single handicap person to use! There’s always a wheelchair for me within a few minutes. The persons who push me to my gate are extremely courteous and will always stop at the restroom or store so I can get water! They are the best! My ONLY complaint last year was the fact that they wheeled me from check-in up to the concourse at Detroit Metro and dropped me off with 25 others in wheelchairs and there we sat. After over half an hour I got up to the counter and informed them that my flight would be boarding in half an hour and I STILL needed to go through security! They did jump into action as there were 3 in wheelchairs on my flight back to Ft Myers, Fl. I was rushed through security and got to my gate as they were boarding. No one ever told us WHY we were dumped together in a holding area and just sat there. Otherwise, my flight was great!

Cancelled flight again and again. Missed connection flight in ATL, resulting in not making it to destination (which was a funeral). Delta gave me a complimentary hotel stay for the night, however the voucher was for Orlando, FL. Again, I’m in Atlanta, GA. I was also given food vouchers, but only McDonald’s was open and closing at 3am. There were no flights back to MCO so they booked me on a flight to TPA. First class! I had to book a rental car to make it back to Orlando. After a couple of hours of trying to sleep on a chair at the gate, the flight was cancelled. Delta then rebooked me again for a flight to TPA (not my ideal destination, since I’d still have to drive home). This flight would not leave ATL, until 6pm. I decided to book another flight myself to MCO. While that is booked, I’m waiting in line at HERTZ to hopefully get a car (to which the counter person says, there are none available). At this point not only am I missing the funeral of a loved one, the joy of traveling is not longer there. I know everyone is trying their best. It is just a sad ordeal all around.

Plane was there but no crew and didn’t provide hotel or even a meal voucher. So after landing in MSP for our connection, we sat for an hour and half. Then the scheduled boarding time passed. Then the departure time passed…they didn’t say anything. Then finally 10 minutes after the scheduled departure they say it’s canceled….no hotel voucher, no food voucher, nothing. The representative that helped us was extremely understanding and worked extremely hard to get us the earliest flights through another connection. It wasn’t his fault or really anyones but the lack of care for Delta’s fliers was a complete disgrace. Let’s just say that our non-profit that flies 100’s of people a week and we used to use Delta exclusively…will no longer have our business. Sorry Delta, but your policies and service are a disgrace. Again, none of your employees on the ground are at fault and did everything they could based on YOUR companies policies. Maybe time to rethink that. United has always treated me amazingly regardless of the circumstances. So go ahead and lose 100’s of fliers. We are taking our business elsewhere!

Very good (but not perfect)app for delta travelers. Overall I definitely think the app helps make travelling with delta so much easier. So I would definitely recommend it. For example if there is a gate change I often see it on the app. And for tracking suitcases. Also for seeing the major airport maps. It’s not perfect though so take screen shots of boarding passes and anything you might need just in case. My pet peeve is that I often cannot do precheck on either the app or online on International flights. even when I have a return ticket unless the return is on the same reservation. I wish the Delta systems were a little smarter to look at your other reservations to see that you do have a return booked and paid and allow the precheck on the app or online. That is more a problem for expats living abroad. Overall definitely use the app if you are flying with delta. It will probably be helpful to keep you informed about your flight details and status.

Low Quality UI/UX & Customer Service. Delta’s app (and customer service) does not belong in the 21st century. To start, they automatically combine your First and Middle name together under one name — which as you might imagine is problematic in general, but created issues actually trying to check in for the flight on their app (an issue they caused). And forget calling or reaching out to customer service in anyway, unless you have 2 hours on your hands to spare. Getting help to correct the name issue took 2 hours via the text messaging customer service feature. To boot, the app is not intuitive and finding checked baggage information is a mission, and trying to update payment method information requires multiple attempts apparently (and still hasn’t updated). Delta, you’re not even trying at this point. Why spend the extra money for a Delta flight when I can get the same mediocrity, but for much cheaper with Frontier/Spirit? Even both of their apps have better UI/UX. Congratulations on being bottom of the barrel just like ever other joke of an airline based out of the United States.

Flights. We flew from MSP to SLC. Not only was our flight delayed due to a last minute mechanical, we had to wait for a push back cart and de ice. Lastly, the flight was not catered with snacks. We would have missed our connecting flight if the pilots were not aboard our flight. Then our son who was flying out of SFO to meet us on Jackson the next day had a flight delay. He was sent back home as there was no way you could get him into Jackson. This caused us to miss a day and 1/2 with him on a trip specifically to meet up with him. When I called you during our delay, the agent said that we could change our return flights without charge, when I called back to change out flight the other agent said no. Frustrated that we were promised something that was not true. Furthermore, the delay for our son costed him over $130 in uber charges going to and from airport. Two not positive experiences with Delta in a 24 hour period. Not a way to get return customers.

Horrible service. Your pilot did not make it to work, my flight was delayed over and over all day and evening. By the time, it was officially cancelled, no flights available. Only available the following day, a 15 dollar voucher was given to me yet flights all through out airport, volunteers were offered $1,000 credit card. I asked the other day to switch my flight to stay another day with my nephew in critical care and was told that I would have to buy another ticket so I kept today’s flight. So instead of being with my nephew I am sitting in LAX all day and night, no pillow no blanket and won’t get home until tomorrow night. Delta is not honest and really doesn’t care about their passengers when of no fault of ours but Delta’s fault and responsibility, we pay the price. This happened the other month too. Karen Beaton

My plane was delayed. I brought my tickets month in advance. To find out the morning I am going back home my flight was delayed in Mytle Beach. Instead of 2 flights I would have flown 3 flights. The flight in New your I lost my paid for seat. Today is my bithday my family has a party planned for me. Which I would have missed. I called customer service the first rep switch me to American but did not confirm the second flight American could not book due to it was full. I still would have missed my party. She disconnected the phone before confirming I had a second flight. I went back to Delta my flight was canceled. I than called Atlanta customer service spoke Tanya Charltos. A god sent. She got me on a later flight to Atlanta I will be home by 3:33 pm in time for my dinner. I pray every thing goes smooth from here. I can’t explain how upset I am. I could have been reached last night. I been at this airport since 6:30 am my plane leaves at 11:10 am. This is so unfair I am inconvenient by Delta with no compasation very little compassion at all not even free coffe. This may be my last Delta Flight. Breneda

Use it for managing booked flights, but limited options when booking. Definitely worth downloading, as it provides all tools for managing your booked flights. I would recommend to use browser when booking though, especially when your dates are flexible and you want to see prices for +/- several days. Sometimes leaving or coming back just a day earlier or later results in drastic difference in price. The browser allows to select “flexible dates” and provides the grid view with prices, which gives you a good idea about the various flight costs during a particular time period. At the time is this writing there is no such option in the app. Only one departure and arrival date can be chosen at a time; to see prices for various dates one has to enter them manually for every flight price check, which takes forever and doesn’t provide the overall picture at a glance, like booking via browser does.

Rude agent. In booking the bereavement tickets to my home for the passing of my grandmother, I dealt with an agent that was not similar to the kind of customer service I’m used to experiencing from Delta. I used to be a heavy traveler for work, and always made it a point to fly Delta. Almost every single one of the persons I came across was very accommodating and polite. The agent who booked my flights not only laughed at me when booking the flights, scoffed at my comment that I was used to better customer service from Delta, but made remarks when discussing my flight arrangements. I’m normally a fairly calloused person, but experiencing the death of my grandmother, whom I was close to was painful. This gentleman made the experience worse. My flights were outstanding as normal with Delta. One agent in Atlanta even helped my sister out by putting her in a seat that was open, since she was bringing a lap child. That was the type of customer service we’re used to. Thank you for your tome.

Bug report. Don’t see an easy way to submit a bug report so I guess a 1 star review will do instead. Currently there is a bug (replicated on an iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max) where the boarding passes for a group (of 4 people in my case) will not allow you to scroll through anymore, being locked to scroll between only 2 of the boarding passes instead. Closing the app and removing it from history, then opening it again fixes the issue. This is quite the annoying bug particularly when trying to look through the seats of those I’m flying with. I suspect it might have to do with scrolling to fast for the updating mechanic since the dot indicators below the passes for where in the list you are get frozen entirely, locking to one of the dots no matter what. I do believe it is one of the dots representing one of the boarding passes you can still get to but I’m not sure in that. Either way I hope this gets to the dev team or QA cause it sure is an annoying bug. Also consider allowing people to submit problems through the App Store.

Lost/stolen baggage Atlanta airport. We love Delta but their baggage service leaves a LOT to be desired!!! Be very careful and mark your bags so they standout especially when flying into Atlanta. We were in the back of the plane and stopped to quickly use the restroom after leaving our flight. When we arrived at the baggage claim, we could not find one of our suitcases. After months of going back-and-forth with Delta, submitting everything they asked for, our suitcase had not been found. To make matters worse after submitting many receipts and literally spending countless hours trying to locate receipts—delta only gave us 25% of the purchase value!! $600 on a $2400 claim! My lost mouth guard alone was $400! Beware the subway brings in many homeless and our son who flies Delta consistently said he has seen homeless in the baggage claim area.

Worst flight out of RDU to LGA. Monday was a horrible day. My first flight out of RDU was terrible. We sit on the runway for over 2 hours. Was told it was bad weather at LGA. I called my son and the weather was fine there. After 2 hours we went back to the gate and all passengers were told to deplane. Agent at the gate could not provide any information or help with people who had connections. We were given a red card and told they could help. I contacted someone from the number on the red card. This person was rude and could not provide information or other options. I was going to miss my connection and needed to get help. Person stated they could not help and disconnected the call. I had to contact my own travel to get rebooked. I was trying to get my luggage off the plane to have it switch to the Boston flight. The planes were right next to each other. I only checked my luggage because they stated the flight was full and luggage space would be limited. I was told my luggage was switched to the Boston flight. My app showed the luggage was still on the LaGuardia flight. Made multiple attempts to get someone to validate where my luggage was received an different answer from multiple agents. Luggage ended up in Detroit and did not get to me in Buffalo until close to midnight. I had a tablet that was taken out of my bag.

Delta is the best airline in the country Period.. I started a new job 2 1/2 years ago and never really traveled much. I had to choose an airline to go with so I tried all the competitors of flights from Pasco to Knoxville to Georgia to Los Alamos. And I was left high and dry so many times because the weather or mechanical malfunctions the Delta was the only airline that I felt truly had my best interest at heart. Now I’m a business person so I love the Southwest Airlines story of employees first customer second and profits third, however my experience with Delta has been exactly that story in today’s market. I would never travel anything but Delta because I always feel taken care of every flight even when things go wrong I know the Delta will get me to my destinations and home to my family faster than any other airline in the country.

It’s Functional, but I’m Left Wanting More. I feel there are three areas for improvement in this app: 1) I don’t know if this is a problem with the app or with Delta’s computer system, but upgrade list position doesn’t always show. I called Delta to confirm that I was on the list, but my name didn’t show. Perhaps there’s a bug? 2) The app’s boarding pass feature needs to reflect the updated boarding location when an upgrade is granted. I’ve found this happens when an upgrade goes from “Sky” to “Comfort Plus”: the seat assignment reflects a Comfort Plus seat, but the boarding group still states “Sky”. 3) The app does not allow a user to share flight information via iMessages. I use United and Southwest’s apps very frequently, and both their apps allow a user to share upcoming flight information from the iMessages app. This app only provides stickers through iMessages.

Total cluster mess from Delta. Went to the Spokane Airport today to check in for our flight back to Norfolk, VA and was told at the counter that we were quite early for our flight. Say what, we were two hours early, but the counter rep proceeded to state our flight to Atlanta had been cancelled. No warning, no notification, no email. We were told we would be taking a three layover flight and not arriving in. ORF for 24 hours. What! We were then told we could try United. United showed three available seats to Denver and then Richmond (a reasonable alternative, getting us home at 11 pm. Went back to the Delta counter twice to have them book for us and was told those seats didn’t show up on their system. What? I have a bad back, bad hip, and need assistance, and now am stuck traveling for 24 hours, taking a long redeye, and negotiating three layovers to get home. This is unacceptable customer service in my opinion. I will not fly Delta again.

Delta left me stranded. I flew out of Syracuse NY this afternoon to return to Spokane Wa. I arrived at the airport 3hrs early because the airlines request 2hrs prior so I figured an hour earlier for good measure. The plane was delayed 10min, once we pushed off we sat an additional 15-20min on the tarmac. Once landed in LaGuardia we had to wait for a plane to get out of the way. I got off the plane and headed to gate 81, 15-20min according to the airport signs. Once at the gate the reader board said “boarding “. The individuals at the gate said the flight was closed and proceeded to find me another flight. After a couple minutes the best that could be done is tomorrow morning at 7:00am. They handed me the tickets and I went to the window and the plane was still there. I checked their app and verified my luggage was on board. They knew I was on the plane from Syracuse, they knew of the delays yet they couldn’t wait a couple more minutes after I waited for them. You think they would have given me some type of compensation, the very least a good voucher being I am spending 14hrs here. Costumer Service is a thing of the past.

Love love delta. Yesterday .. I had to change my flight for a day later leaving SPOKANE headed back to Los Angeles ...so I could watch my sick baby niece so my sister could get to her new job . I explained to the delta representative what my situation was ... I had originally wanted to fly on a Saturday but the flights were triple the cost for that day . ... somehow .. the delta rep was able to shift over my flight and didn’t charge me anything ... NOT ANYTHING .. they have consistently been way about average in customer service . Last year when we had all the fires in Southern California .. we had to change flights something like 4 times because the situation kept changing ... they didn’t charge us a change fee and waived all of them during that period ... whoever is making policy over there is doing a stellar job .. being able to be flexible at the corporate level when it is warranted is such a plus ... customers don’t want to feel like they are being grinded into the ground .. especially when there are extenuating circumstances . Thx delta .. you are my number one choice !! Now just add more LAX to Spokane non stop flights .. you guys operate the ONLY LAX-GEG-LAX flights and they are always full !! I say you need to add more ... especially flight back to LAX that leaves later than 6:45 am ... say 10:00 am ?

Poor planning…... You had us take our flight to Escanaba only to have the pilot abort two attempts to land and flybys back to Minneapolis. It was too windy. Didn’t they know that before we took off? It is only a 40 minute flight. If conditions changed that drastically in that short a time it would have been forecasted. Because this was a late flight, we end up back in Minneapolis at 12:30 am. Rebooking passengers thru Detroit to Escanaba puts us home at 4:00 pm Saturday. Because you abandoned flying in to MQT, you didn’t have the option to land there instead and bus us 1 hour to Escanaba. Had we not left in the first place, I could have rented a car and been home in 6 hours. But, the rental car options with drop off for my destination were closed by the time we were done at the gate. This is my second bad experience with Delta in less than a month. You cancelled my flight from Atlanta to Milwaukee New Years Eve morning 2 hours before check-in, auto rebooking for a flight 24 hours later. I will have to consider other airports with other carrier options for my business and personal travel.

Worst airlines ever. Several issues with my international flight but worse issue (which I am still in the middle of) they needed someone to not board my flight because they were over capacity. I volunteered for $700 voucher which would keep me in the airport an additional 5 hours and cause me to arrive at midnight. When I walked away because the gentleman confirmed he had me on the 9:55 flight they indicated they called me on the speaker because they had room on the flight. I never heard it but then they called me on my cell phone to advise “I missed my flight” if you are going to call me because I am not coming to the desk why wouldn’t you do the same prior to take off. Not only did they not give me the $700 dollars, I am still sitting at this airport in Detroit 7 hours later. The man NEVER explained the details of how it worked and then I was made to pay for their mistake. They said they would give me a $350 voucher to fly with them again. I refused. I will. Never fly with delta again. They are terrible with service animals and do not know how to handle international flights.

Delta Airline Review. I have been a long time DL Customer for several years, approaching 3M miles. Over all my experience has been very positive. Great Airline, Great People, Great Customer Service. One of my negative impressions are the changes that DL made to their FF Program. Hard for me to completely understand when a lower level FF Customer who purchases a slightly higher or higher coach class ticket receives priority over a Diamond Flyer. As a Corporate Flyer we are asked to book our flights at least 14 days out, which usually results in a lower coach fare compared to a fare that was booked “late”. I have had on several occasions received a personal apology from a flight attendant. One time the flight attendant wrote me a personal note apologizing that I did not receive at least a DL comfort seat. One flight attendant showed me all of the Silver, Golds and Platinum’s that were seating in DL Comfort or 1st Class. DL is rewarding fare not loyalty. Just my impressions and experience this year.
