Poor app communications. The poor app is only be used for payment and all other features are extremely limited and/or not “enforced” be the local property management. The national property management company can see, review, or help with the local, specific multi-family homes using this customized Yardi application. The maintenance requests marked “Emergency” are not passed to the service technicians in a time manor that meets the lease lease SLAs. The poor 2-3 step phone call transfers for emergencies are a little better. No way to report payment problems when the utilities and fees have errors. Both Yardi and Gables failed to develop and provide basic 21st century apps that are easy for both customers (leaser) and local, onsite management can use.

Love it!. I love living here at Desert Club! I moved here from Chicago to take a job here in Phoenix and I’m so glad that I chose Desert Club as my home and my apartment complex! I love the walkability of it and the ease of taking the bus to and from my workplace. The grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is lovely. I’m very happy here. As a single woman I feel very safe. My apartment is in perfect order and I love how it was updated.

App. The app makes everything easier especially with my busy life . From work I can pay rent , see charges , and even submit maintenance request.

App needs updating!. I moved 9 months ago to a new unit in the same apartment complex and both my apartment numbers are in my account still. I have to be careful not to apply payment to my old apt unit which I do not live in. The apt should have been taken off my account when I moved.

Mission gate. My experience has only been positive since I moved in. Jessi worked with me every step of the way and went above and beyond to not only make me feel welcome, but also at ease. I had a request for a maintenance and it was taken into account. she took care of it personally, She’s fantastic. one of the things I liked about the community is the cleanliness, the peace and everything is wonderful and beautiful in the neighborhood. This is what I was looking for from inside the apartment as well as from outside the neighborhood and I will recommend everyone to come and sign their lease here.

Great. I love the app. It’s easy to use. I just wish you could have the option to make payments as you can instead of as a whole at one time.

Better than nothing. Notifications pop up randomly, sometimes well after they should have It was depressingly easy to accidentally close a maintenance request while trying to exit one of dropdown menus Due dates on payments are not clearly marked Login sessions are short. That would be fine, but the app will let you continue to use it while logged out, which really means you’re stuck in a snapshot that never updates or submits anything. Closing the app is the only workaround I’ve found. But making payments is quick and it is ok at maintaining a history.

So convenient. I love this app. Every time I need anything done in my townhouse or I need to pay the rent I log in and it’s done. Quick, easy, convenient.

Do they even check the app?. I have 4 outstanding request and one hasn’t been filled. They’ve canceled the original ones that were put in over a month ago. My shower doesn’t heat up, my ac barely works and they haven’t fixed either of my fans and the tile in the bathroom is still cracked up. Do they even care about residents at Gables Katy Trail?

Almost never works how it should. Buggy app/often doesn’t work for one of us to submit maintenance requests (have heard this from others as well), often get error messages and have to do some weird work around, uploading pics doesn’t work. One star because i was able to submit a maintenance request just now but there were still errors and I had to do some work around.

Rating. The app is clear enough but there is no breakdown of monthly charges. We would like to see more announcements & events as we were promised by Brigitte Murer, your leasing manager, when we moved in. We have only been here since July yet all of the events & weekly activities we were told about have disappeared! This app is the perfect location to post what’s happening especially when we’ve had a broken elevator & broken gates that have been down for over a day.

My favorite place I’ve lived whilst living in Austin. This apartment complex is definitely one of the best it’s not the best I’ve ever lived in in the 53 years I’ve been alive every amenity I have ever wanted is here. I hope to stay here as long as I am able to live in Austin, Texas and the maintenance crew. By the way are the friendliest kindest people I have ever met..

Normally very easy but…. For some reason it will not let me adjust the amount to account for my increase in rent and I have to manually pay the difference month after month after month despite having my account set up to take the balance in full automatically. I’ve gone back-and-forth multiple times on email regarding this with no resolution.

Appliances amenities. The Gables Station University app is incredible where you can just quickly take a picture of what needs to be repaired and the next day the repair people come and fix it ASAP it’s easier than owning a house!!!!

Perfect, Manage Maintenance Needs From Anywhere. Love the app! It is a great way to have service requests addressed and the maintenance and facilities team actually responds and does so on a timely basis. There is no reason to visit the leasing office if it’s not about leasing because this app helps get the job done!

Good simple app to manage day-to-day things. App is built in a simple way. I would like to appreciate the maintenance module as raising request etc is easy and provides easy access to quick help with the maintenance team

Average. Doesn’t break down or show you your charges, that comes separately in an email. It’s convenient for submitting a maintenance work order or for paying your bill, although if you’re a person who pays a few days early, you must input the amount which you must retrieve from the email. There’s not much else to the app

Payment option. Very convenient and easy to make payment.

Must sign in every time. The app does not allow me to stay signed in and requires that I sign in every time I need to make a maintenance request or pay rent. As I just moved in and I need to do a lot of finagling, I constantly need to be manually typing in my password since it will it allow me to save my password in any way. This is incredibly annoying. The app itself is very well designed and my only issue outside of the password is that I can’t cancel maintenance requests. Fix these and it’ll be 5 stars for me.

Gables Pointe 14 Review. Overall, I love living here. The amenities ar e great, whenever I have a maintenance issue it’s always done before I get home from work, and the amenities are perfect. Some cons are that theft occurs in the gym and garage. Not Gables Pointe 14’s fault but I guess theft happens everywhere. It’s not entirely clear how they handled the car thefts. No place is perfect I guess.

Could be better. Decent app but could be better. One needed improvement is within maintenance requests. The person submitting the maintenance request should be able to edit or atleast delete the request if changes are needed on it.

User Issues. The app serves its purpose, but it’s very frustrating. You shouldn’t need to have to sign in any time the app loses focus (even for less than two seconds to copy some information down). Normally this would be annoying, but not two-star worth. Except that it takes far to long to be authenticated. It’s overall a very poor user experience.

Greedy management. Attempting to move out of gables was such an atrocious experience that it soured my entire 15 months living there. They intentionally locked a fire exit to make it more difficult to move out on our moving date, and we had to involve the fire marshal to resolve this obvious violation. At every turn we gave them the opportunity to do the right thing, but it took escalating to the authorities just to allow us to move out of our apartment. In addition they were incredibly rude and unforgiving when it came to my parking pass, which I had loss due to the totaling of my vehicle. They deemed the fact that I did not grab the sticker out of my smashed vehicle to return to them a “security risk”. They fined me $25 and at every level of management said their hands were tied and that they were unable to remove the fine. I would recommend anyone moving to Dallas avoid the gables properties.

You can pay rent. This app is only good for paying rent and seeing a couple of documents. You can make maintenance requests, but I usually have to go down to the leasing office if I want it to be responded to. My building does not use the announcements or events function of this app.

Not User friendly. No option to upload image on bulletin boards. That should be the basic, if neighbors are trying to sell or give away stuff free, they should have an option to upload images. It’s good for making rent payments but besides that the bulletin board is very basic. The UX design could use a little help too, the super dark background isn’t very pleasing.

Leasing and move in process. Samantha Grier was extremely patient with a new lease and move in process ! We had many site visits and tours , and she was extremely helpful from beginning to end !

Easy, Quick and Accurate. This app makes paying your rent very easy and effective. The amount shown as due is accurate and the options available make the process quick and very helpful.

Ease of Access. I love using the app for payments and obtaining updates from my community! It’s easy to work with and updates are very helpful! Top tier app

It’s ok. Glad to have an app for the apartment. I should be able to pay rent a week or so ahead but I can’t. Setting autopay doesn’t account for the fluctuation water bill so that doesn’t actually help me. There’s a faster response to maintenance issues if I call the office so overall glad it exists but not super helpful.

Maintenance Request. I’ve only been here since 8/1/20 and have been extremely annoyed with an A/C unit outside of my bedroom window. I have put in numerous requests and complaints about the constant loud noise day and night (interrupting my sleep and work during the day), only to be told the compressor needs to be replaced and it will take 6 weeks for the part to come in. I can understand a delay due to COVID (which seems to be an excuse for everything these days), but my frustration lies with the management office in not communicating with me. But here’s a thought....perhaps the part could have been replaced by one in a vacant unit (silly me)!! I had to send several e-mails, countless phone calls and appearances at the office. I would have appreciated someone reaching out to me, instead of me always inquiring about the status. Overall, I like the complex, but not pleased with their communication skills. I have 11 months to go on my lease and if this is any indication of how my stay will be here, it won’t be a pleasant one.

Works Well. I just got a new apartment and this app seems to work really well to make my payments. I haven’t had any issues and it works fast.

Easy. This app is very easy to use and I really like the fact that I could use my credit card. Thank you.

I am a new user so things may get better. The app is not very user friendly for error explanations and methods of clarification of errors. It does tell you how many attempts you have for certain actions but no real assistance in understanding how to fix the issue.

Good experience. The app is quick fast and reliable. It is efficient, and has a good user interface.

Easy to submit. The app is very easy to submit monthly payments through and or requests for maintenance. The only critique I really have is that the message function is not used to alert residents of community news or alerts and it would be more efficient if it was due to emails being lost in junk mail.

Super easy. Aside from the colors of purple and black being together which can sometimes be difficult to see, the app is very easy to use

Simple as it gets. This app has all you need to get ahold of documents, payment, signing and even ways to contact. The fastest and most efficient paying process ever and quick set up auto pay!

Exceeding Realistic Expectations. Joi and Daisy have been terrific. Maintenance fixed everything incredibly quick after move-in. Long story short... Apartment is very pretty. Location is amazing. Management and maintenance have been fantastic. As far as safety goes... It’s pretty obvious that anywhere you live in Atlanta... you leave nothing in your car, fold your backseats down, leave your sunroof open, and park under a bright light. Otherwise you’ll have no windows. Actually looking forward to the pool in the summer as I’m sure it will be quite entertaining.

Views are incomplete. The scrolling options are hard to navigate. Looks like there are only a couple of options when there are many more to choose from.

Maintenance. I have had a couple major repairs in my home/apartment and a few minor ones. Every person who was involved in the repair have been professional and kind. One reason I stay here. Any issue is repaired timely. Thank you all

Poor maintenance. Poor maintenance service I had a much better experience at the I would like to be able to talk to maintenance about issues and to k ow what they are doing to resolve the problem. I also don’t like that they don’t leave a note or call to tell me they have been in my apartment. They just always leave a mess for me to clean up

User experience needs improvement. I recommend creating a way to separate out concession money from monthly rent and utility costs. For people who received a deal, e.g. 6 weeks free, the app doesn’t give you the option to easily prorate rent on your own using those concessions. Instead, it lumps them into one big central bucket that auto-drafts each month - forcing you to crunch numbers in order to reactively replenish the concessions that were auto-drafted. This also causes the account balance to be inaccurate until you go through that manual process. It’s just kind of a pain that’s not intuitively clear.

Rent pay section almost never works.. Once your accounts are verified, you should be able to add fund. any day of the month. This part of the app ALWAYS comes up with “application error, try again later” except on the last day of the month and (I’m guessing) the first day of the month. If many folks don’t get their rent paid on time, it’s probably because they don’t have the patience to try everyday until it finally works. This isn’t a roll out where you know it’s going to be glitchy. It’s been this way since at least 8/21 when I moved in. Bad technology. Bad App oversight. The most inconvenient “convenience” app I’ve ever had to use.

Can’t make a payment. When I went onto the app to make a payment with a new bank account on the first and the app had already charged my old account and wouldn’t let me cancel it. I wasn’t able to make a payment until it came back as a canceled charge. By this point it was the 4th so I got charged a $200 dollar fee.

Easy to Use. I can find what I need, make payments, view previous payments, and get in contact with maintenance super easily.

Autopay failed. I have been on autopay for quite a while now. Today I get a letter at my door saying I owe the rent immediately. I looked into my bank account and noticed there was no rent payment. I did not stop autopay so I’m not sure how this would have happened as there has not been any issue in the past.

Very annoyed with this app. I have tried for three months now to put my card onto this app and it continues to deny it. It will only let me use Apple Pay (SAME CARD), which conveniently for them there is a surcharge every single time. Rent is already ridiculous, stop money gouging.

Fetch. Be sure to look up Fetch on Google reviews before you sign up with Gables. You will be forced to use Fetch at some point if you live in a gables property. They are switching over all of their properties to it. I would get into details, but it’s a dumpster fire of a company they require you to send all of your packages through. Look up the reviews.

Works well. The app works well and is very convenient for maintaining my home at my apartment building.

Terrible app. The app is hard to read and does not remember your passwords even if you use FaceID. The service ticket portion is convoluted and it makes it harder to submit a work order than it should be.

Logs out for no reason. Frequently times out for “inactivity” even if you’re in the midst of using it. After not opening the app for a few hours, it will sign you out as well.

Worse payment system I have ever used. Worse payment system I have used. - Adding accounts it is not user friendly, as they don’t refresh when you add them so it appears to the end user as if the card has not been added. - Connecting your back account is an even worse experience, it seems as if they don’t want you to do it so they can charge you the ridiculous fee. - Which brings me to my third point: they charge you for paying your rent!!!! What in the world?!! I guess the culpable are the companies that use this service. Very vexing overall.
