App stopped working after phone update to IOS 8.0.2. This app is used every Friday and Saturday night until my 4S got the IOS 8.0.2 upgrade causing this app not to output any sound. The best thing is the developers had a quick fix in no time flat and I'm back up and running. Awesome job!!!

It is back!!!. And better than ever the audio problems are fixed and I am a happy camper thank U thank U thank U now off to buy your other Apps!

Unusable on iPhone 6S +. I use to love this app and used it at rehearsals when our drummer was unavailable, but now it's unusable. Kick drum isn't the same tempo as the snare regardless of beats. I thought I messed up something in the settings at first, reinstalled, matched every setting the same as iPad, but nothing helped. Like other reviewers, is it specific to certain iPhone models? Works fine on iPad, but doesn't do me any good in my situation. Website looks like developer has moved on from this app promoting other apps instead.

It's fixed!!!!. Happy to give this app 5 stars again. It's a great metronome/drum machine. It's been very useful with odd meters and nice grooves. Lots of presets as well.

Good Start. I like the concept but there's no way to record sounds. Audiobus or IAA would make it more useful. Also a song mode would be great. Would love to hear from Dev about future plans but there's no contact info on website. I'll update as I get info. Dev please leave contact info. Fun useful. Super metronome is much more versatile and fun than a standard metronome. There seems to be a way to create new patterns, but I haven't figured that out yet. Glad I bought this app.

I’ll pay $1 for more bars and make 5 tracks instead of 3. This app is awesome! But we need more bars(4-8) and more tracks(4-6). 5 sounds simultaneously would be nice guys and I’d pay a $1 for these feature to be added because when your playing live it sound repetitive because there’s not enough measures to change the groove in multiple bars. I use it as a click track and drum track for church gigs. As far as complexity complaints, try using GarageBands drum machine and come back and tell me this is not user friendly cuz it really is!!!

Great drum app for 4/4 beats. I love your app. Thank you for making it. My only request is some 3/4 and 6/8 grooves please.

Best metronome app. Love this simple, powerful app… much better than others I’ve used!

Works ok. Occasional crashes. Cannot delete new sounds sets on iPad. I can delete on iPhone. Would like tambourine added to sounds. Would like shuffles to be added to grooves.

Needs an update/doesn't work. It worked for about a month or so and then it stopped working. I've tried closing the app and deleting the app and re-downloading it...still doesn't work. Needs an up date for iPhone 6s plus or refund my money.

Good but..... This app is good for use as a pocket metronome but since the release of the iPhone 6 plus the rendering of the app on the bigger screen is messed up. Two play buttons, columns misaligned, etc. the developer needs to look at this on an iPhone 6 plus emulator and fix.

Great app. Fun, easy to use, would like to see a multitasking feature so u can collapse the app and still here the beat, like how ampkit works.

Great sounds! User friendly!. Easy to find musical and inspiring grooves. If you like organic drums that has decent dynamics and is very intuitive then this is a great drum app to own.

Battery eater. Eats battery... No way to turn off, runs always. Not listed in setup with other apps. Needs an off button. About to unistall because of this. Nice app other wise.

Can’t get any support- app broken. I have problems with this app, but cannot contact the developer. There is no contact available on the website, and unless you have a G+, Twitter, or FB account, you can’t reach them. If they begin to offer general contact for support, and fix their broken apps, I’d be glad to give them a favorable rating.

Great app but does it have drum fills????. Just got this app yesterday and really enjoy trying the different grooves. I would like to use this for live performance but I can't seem to find where I can add drum fills. Is that a feature? Documentation and a way to contact the developer would be most helpful! Awesome!!!. I had it working nicely prior to the latest iOS version. Then it shut the sound of the iPad and i have to go to the settings to get it working again. Happened yesterday and now it back on..earned another star and review.. thanks

Nothing but nice!!. This is a great metronome! I love to practice with it 'cause of the real sounding drums... It makes it fun! My wife (a bass player) and I (keyboards) tried it together and we had a nice three piece band! So far no glitches. And it's very easy to figure out. And I can record with it by using my phones headphone jack to a mixer and into my DAW. Match the speed of both and record. You can then grid out your DAW like midi and edit the audio to match.. Done! I do this when clients bring me beats but don't know the BPM's.

Does not work on iPhone. Have to turn the phone off to reset it. Plays for a few minutes then will not make any sound. Have to turn off my phone and back on again.

Super awesome app!! It needs an update to fix some glitches though. If I get a voice call while using this app itself and I go silent. Then I just need to restart it and it's five. Not a big deal just annoying. Please fix the bugs! I love using this app!

Impressive and simple. Surprisingly flexible, and easy to use. Perfect amount of presets and range of adjustments, with a small footprint. Definitely worth buying.

Stop flashing play button please!. I would like an option to stop the play button from flashing. It's driving me crazy. Other than that this app is super useful.

How to save your settings?. Bought the paid version so I could save my drum patterns and settings. Cannot figure it out. The “save” button is greyed out. Please help.

Beat Hider choices?. Overall this app is great. Is there a way to customize Beat Hider function? For example if I wanted to make it 1:1 or randomize it, is there a way to do that? If not that would be a great update! Another one thing that would make it excellent for me would be the ability to set it to change subdivisions after a specified amount of bars that you set. For example you set it up so one bar is in 1/4 notes then the next two bars are 8th notes, then a bar of triplets then the next three bars are in 16th notes. You set it and it flows one after the other so you connect from one subdivision to the next. The app called SpeakBeat has this feature and it makes practicing trickier and more fun. On your app I see the randomizer which is cool, but I don’t see anything like what I just described SpeakBeat offers, unless I’m missing something.

Used to be 4 stars.. This app was great until the iOS update came and the sound shuts off. Once this gets updated it'll be a great drum machine app but until then it's useless :/

Very useful tool!. I am learning to play bass guitar and Super Metronome is the perfect tools to allow me to select a ready made beat that I can play against. If the included beat does not quite suite it is very easily altered and I am back to practicing. This app is exactly what I was needing!

Nice drum sounds.. I’ve been using this app live and it sounds great through my PA system. I wish it had midi so I could control it with my blue board pedal.

Can you Say User Manual...? None. Yes, the sounds are good. However If you don’t mind spending your time fiddling through this app to find how it works then, fine -go for it. Otherwise you end up spending valuable time trying figure out some of it’s basic features because it really isn’t all that straight forward...I mean just a basic one page (manual)list of features would help allot And like other reviewers have mentioned you can’t seem to delete a saved edited pattern completely and renaming is a kind hit and miss , so it comes off as a bit glitzy. Therefore I would recommend this App if you just wanna enter & playback beats, which I get is it’s main purpose -and great for that- but I can’t recommend it for its editing features and lack of a some kind of simple user manual. Also an export feature feature would be really nice nice like the SoftDrummer app this developer offers.

Best app to practice with too!. I can build out a rhythm or beat that I am trying to master or tighten up and can play along to the loop for as long as needed and save the file and come back to later. As I get better I can speed up the bpm as well. My favorite drumming app!

Great Practice Tool. Very nice app! Need to change subdivisions to 3 to get to jazz swing options. Some documentation would be useful. Would like the ability to set incremental tempo increase (% increase every x number measures) to help phrase/technique practice.

Jaou Ninguem. Buy it of course. Great interface. Lots of different beats and sounds. Not loops but like a drum machine. Use it for practice or inspiration for a song. Good work!

Bugs. Have the full paid version, which had been working great up until the new update, and now I'm getting a black screen where the style and drum pattern lists should be. App is useless at this point. I'd like to see a fix soon, as this was otherwise a great app.

Black screen. I also have the full paid version. After the 1.3 upgrade recently, the instrument selection is blacked out on my iPhone. You have to blindly swipe to change anything. Hope it gets fixed soon, I really like it when it works.

Leaving app and returning loses sound. Been using this app on my iPhone for two days now. Every time I leave the app to do something else on my phone, the sound vanishes. Can’t find anything in the app to fix this other than rebooting my phone. Clicking on the link here to get app support just takes me to marketing for other products. Frustrated.

Update for iPhone 6 Please!. Had this ap for a couple weeks now, worked fantastic on my 4s. Easy to use, good selection of beats, sounds great over my PA, love it for jamming w my guitar. Knocking it down a star because I just got my new 6 and opening the ap shuts off the sound completely on the phone! Have to restart the phone to get sound back. I'm sure an update is in the works (right....?)

Excellent metronome and more!. I have had this on my iPhone for a while now and love it. Rather than practice with just a click track I use the drum machine functions. I have a dedicated Korg drum machine but mostly use this app! I am putting together a home recording studio and I think that SuperMetronome is good enough for laying down demo tracks 👍🏻😊

Great app!. I enjoy using this app. However, on my iPhone it runs in the background ( ie when not in use) and therefore is a serious consumer of my battery. Any comments, help? Robert G

It’s indeed a super meteonome. Great sound. Easy too use. However I do miss the absence of swing, ragtime rhythms.

Pretty good, but lacking…. … important features. Please add iCloud backup and restore, so that user created patterns can be kept safe. Your other apps have that function… I’m surprised that this one doesn’t.

Flexible app, active developer. Not all apps continue to improve after you buy them, but lumbeat apps get great updates. Writing guides isn’t this guy’s thing. I’d rather he spend time on code than on guides he would have to keep updating. I can hunt and peck and figure these out. Love that it feeds into the other lumbeat apps.

Sound quality. Because it sounds good, you want to use that metronome often. Many configuration options for this simple drummer.

Incredi-groova-ble!. Yes Yes Yes and Yes in 3/4 or 4/4 or any 4 and more. Great sounds. Easy to configure. Used to use this developer's online groove tracks but this makes everything that much simpler. I use it with my guitar students for everything. Thank you! Great app but could use a better YouTube tutorial.. I love the app but wish I knew how to use it better.

Where is the 6/8. Nice drum machine, however the meters are a little complicated, you dont have your typical 6/8 or 7/8 , latin grooves are limited too. Its Ok but fare from great.

The Good and The Bad. The Good: A great sounding drum machine with a bunch of presets that make it easy and fun to practice to…. The Bad: Unlike FunkBox, won't allow simultaneous play with my other bass effects app (Amplitube). That's a bummer.

Great app. Great fun to practice with.. Recently updated for iOS 8, the app work great and is a lot of fun to practice with. I will be using it with my guitar students!

Pretty Much Perfect!. This metronome has just about everything. Varying tempo, different beats, different sound. I can even make it sound just like a metronome. It also has a feature called Hide A Beat. If you have ever got in to real timing studies you know the best way to really perfect it is to have it play along and then hide a measure. If you come back in on time you are getting there. If not then you know what you have to work on. I will admit that I am a Lumbeat fanboy so I have most of Luis’s apps. The only thing that I wish this had was the foot switch start with a PC13 command like all his other apps. Plus he is very responsive to glitches and stuff. Go to Lumbeat.com and write him a note. Chances are you will get it fixed. Go Pro though, it’s the best.

Most Fun and Creative Metronome!. As a music teacher, I feel that this metronome app is fun for me and my students. They can learn concepts of meter and subdivision accent patterns while exploring various percussion instruments, being creative and having fun! Awesome achievement! Two questions: 1) Why do the sixteenth-note pairs swing instead of the eight-note pairs? Please allow the user to choose which group they want to swing. 2) Why do you set 100% swing to a dotted rhythm rather than listing it as 75% as Logic and other software companies do? This confused me a lot at first. I needed a calculator to find my favorite swing types: triplet, quintuplet (eighth - dotted eight), golden ratio. Please see Logic and Finale and consider making this change.
