Stopped working recently. Was a great watch complication but now the Lyd complication does not show any image/graphic on the watch face (or in the complication selection menu when editing the watch face). You can still select Lyd, just know it’ll appear like a blank spot (quite covert haha). The app still loads when you click the blank spot where the icon should be and allows controlling Sonos nicely… please just fix this bug.

Works ok. It would be nice if the developer could add a couple simple instructions instead of relying on people to read through responses to bad reviews to find out how to use the complication. Two sentences would work. Thanks! As a new watch owner these things aren’t intuitive for me yet, and I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to control Sonos with the watch right away. ;) Thanks for the app! Any new features planned?

2.0 update amazing. Just updated to the 2.0 update and now this is my favorite Watch app! It is now super fast and responsive, allowing me to easily control my music and speaker volumes as a group and independently. The UI has always been well thought out and app functional, but this new update makes it so much more snappy. Well done! 👍

Great Sonos app for Apple Watch. This is what Sonos should have had for their system. Was looking for the ability to control playback from my watch vs having to unlock my phone whenever I needed to make a change. So far this all works flawlessly and supports all the zones I have. Great app!

Love it!. Downloaded, connected and worked effortlessly. In my experience that is almost a first for anything Sonos. I was an early adopter, fan and heavily invested in Sonos speakers for my house, but they have worn me down over the years with technical issues and clumsy software. Emblematic is that the company itself hasn’t even put out an Apple Watch app yet. My kudos to the developer of Lyn.

Better than Sonos app. The watch interface is awesome! Always works and is really fast. So great to have instant control of my Sonia system always available on my wrist. I have continually struggled with the Sonos brand app interface. Loses speaker connectivity all of the time, is slow, and Alexa voice integration only works half the time. The Lyd interface works every time. And it has the ability to discover multiple Sonos households, which helped me debug why my Sonos speakers were missing from the Sonos brand app. Thank you! Well worth the tiny price!

Awesome watch app, gives sonos control from your wrist!. Been using this app for years and continues add features and keeps up with Sonos updates/products. This is a must have for anyone with a Sonos setup and Apple Watch. It’s even better than the Sonos app!

Love this app, but i wish i didn’t have to pick a room when i only have 1.. I love this app and how seamlessly it works with my Sonos, but i wish I didn’t need to click the room I wanted when i only have 1 room. I would rather have it just load as a default. Until then I won’t be giving the app 5 stars. When i do click it though, everything works seamlessly!

Amazing App!. This Sonos watch app has revolutionized my life! I use to search for my phone all over the house to change the volume or song, but then I’d think to myself “Hey you can change all that from your watch”! You won’t be disappointed with this app. I haven’t found one flaw.

Thought I was scammed. After an update a while ago, the app didn’t work. I thought I was scammed. Decided to try it today. I was pleasantly surprised to see it worked. Sonos is always challenging after an update. Works better for adjusting the volume than “Now playing.” 👍 I love Sonos. I have the original play 5 and connect amp. Maybe since 2012. Discovered Sonos on Pandora. Anyway, I thought I had it set up right. I didn’t for the past year. I believe the play bar returned to factory settings on its own or because of an electrical surge. Everything is working right now and I’m happy about it.

Great app!!. I never give reviews of apps but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate this one. Works great and I get a lot out of it. Just one complaint about the sorting of playback options. One thing is sorting alphabetically 20 is lower than 114 (Sirius channels) but that is not how the app behaves. Also, if you sort by streaming service, it doesn’t hold that sort when you revisit the app. But again, great job and keep it up and maybe you can sell it to sonos! But don’t! lol.

A must-buy for a Sonos user. There are a lot of apps that don’t seem natural on an Apple Watch. Lyd is NOT one of them. This app has become my go-to tool for managing the Sonos speakers in the house particularly when I’m doing construction or cleaning. The best feature is just being able to turn down the volume quickly when someone arrives that I need to talk to. Like any app that depends on other apps or systems to work, it can sometimes be slow to initially figure out what is playing where and give me the options to stop/start/change volume. I have 3 rooms setup and would really like it to check play status in the background, so when I open it, it’s got all of the current room data ready. Overall it’s always getting better, continues to be one of my favorite apps, and would benefit from knowing room play status immediately upon being opened.

Simply incredible. Very few apps nowadays tend to impress me or are even worth a mention this is an exception. Great user face that actually works. Almost has too many features but they all work! Must have for a Sonos user.

Works great. When it works. Which is most of the time.. This works great. Being able to adjust volume and speaker groups from my wrist is awesome. And it works about 90% of the time. When it doesn’t work, I don’t know why. So I have to kill the app on my watch, resync from the Lyd app on my iPhone. And then it works again. Just wish I could figure out why it doesn’t work sometimes.

MUST HAVE for Sonos users!!. This app is a MUST HAVE for any Sonos user that has an Apple Watch. I have no idea why Sonos doesn’t have support on the Apple Watch; but this app gets the job done! With their recent updates, it is much more user friendly and much less “buggy”. Spend the small amount of money on this app and you WON’T be disappointed!!

Very Happy with App. It works, and works well, all for $.99. The Watch integration is well done: the fact that a user can control their Sonos system as an ever-present Watch “Complication“ is handy, and far superior to having to reach for your iPhone every time you want to mute your audio or select different rooms or volumes. The app directions are clear: just remember to open the app on your iPhone prior do your first use to complete the set up and syncing with your Sonos system before you attempt to use it on the Watch. I also appreciate that on the information page the developer includes complete contact information. Many Sonos systems users have commented that it is puzzling why the standard Sonos app does not include watch integration. Go figure. In the meantime this does the trick nicely.

Flawless. Just installed this morning on my first try. I am running it on my iPhone 11 Pro 16.4.1 (a) and 6 Series watch 9.4 without a single issue. I dowloaded the app directly to my watch and found the required steps to pair my apple id with SONOS to be pretty straightforward. The hardest thing was recalling my passwords 😬.

Do not waste your money. If you’re looking to control your sonos from your watch, look elsewhere. This is a play/pause button essentially. When playing from certain music sources, you can’t even go to the next track. The biggest frustration is the never-ending loading screen you get when trying to “change music”. Apps like this are why I stopped paying anything for apps. And the dev’s input is “disable Bluetooth on your iPhone for quicker app response on your watch”. Horrible waste of $1.99.

Decent, but buggy since Watch OS 10. App is good and much needed, and client support in Frankfort appears to be professional (though I haven’t had occasion to use it yet). Just wish the app would stay open through its use instead of closing when you lower your wrist, but that’s a story that’s related to why the iPhone app is now less useful and less integrated into iOS than it was before. And just since Watch OS 10, it also seems buggy (doesn’t update to the onscreen info of the current track). Hope I can one day give it 5 stars, but not now 😊

Does what you want on Apple Watch. This is what Sonos should’ve provided. Add the complication to your watch face and volume and skip on Sonos is a tap away. The only problems are a wonky setup to get it connected to Sonos initially and occasional loss of that connection that requires logging in again on iPhone and an unavoidable lag, probably due to Sonos’ API. (Is that REST, I wonder?) Still, it’s a blast to control Sonos rooms from Apple Watch. Recommend creating a Sonos playlist just for Lyd.

Absolutely fantastic. There is rarely a day that goes by that I don’t use this app. It works exceptionally well and is surprisingly full featured. Nearly everything I can do in the Sonos app, I can do on the watch very quickly. Can’t recommend enough.

Does not even install on iphone (Updated). I have spent 5 hours trying to install this app. I have restarted both my phone and iwatch numerous times. The app icon shows up but when I open the iwatch app, the app is not there to install on my watch. The app also does not connect to my Sonos app. I’ll try again a few times more, but it is looking like refund time. Well.. I discovered what my problem was. I was trying to install the app using my iPhone 6Plus and a third generation iWatch. Doesn’t work! Ahhhhhh!! So, I got a new iPhone 12 and a new iWatch 6. Expensive way to solve an app problem. The app works now. My only criticism is that I can’t really adjust the volume using the watch app. As soon as I touch the volume control, it mutes the sound. I would like a volume control in the that I can use to control the volume, not just mute the sound. Other than that one concern, I love being able to control my system on my watch. (I recommend that you make the system requirements for not the phone and the watch now clear so that you don’t wind up with grumpy customers like I was earlier.)

Great way to control your Sonos Setup. Since “Now Playing” quit working with Sonos, I’ve been using LYD to control my music from my IWatch. Works great to initiate, stop, start, control volume etc. from my watch. Always amazes me this app creator could do this and Sonos did not. They should hire this software writer!

Exactly what I was looking for. This app is great. I can add a complication to my watch, or otherwise open the app like normal. I can select between my speakers and groups, create groups, edit groups. I just like how easily I can skip songs and adjust the volume. Sometimes it’s not very easy to make incremental volume changes on the Sonos devices themselves or through voice assistants. But this app makes it so nice. You just twist the crown and it feels like very fine tuned control. When you re-open the app you go right back to where you left off, making it really easy to quickly skip songs or adjust volume while otherwise busy cooking/dealing with kids. If you’re looking to control your Sonos system from your watch, this is the app for you. Also, I appreciate that the app developer quickly responded to a question I had. They obviously still care and support their product. 👍🙌

Just what I was looking for. I have only just found this....so may need to update my review in time....but so far, I am very pleased with this app. I got tired of waiting for Sonos to come out with an Apple watch app. I put this complication on a watch face that I had used for music listening....with Now Playing as my main complication. This was currently available only for a smaller complication at the bottom of the watch screen. I can now choose/change my speakers in my current group with only a hard press of the screen, as I walk from room to room, I can change speakers on the fly, without my phone. I can also change my music, but seemingly only to playlists or music that I have added to “My Sonos”. So far, it works as expected, which is good. It would be nice, if it was available for the full complication, so it could show the “now playing” info on the watch face, so that I wouldn’t need to use both complications (Lyd and Now Playing). (Don’t really need both). Glad I decided to try this. (at least so far)

Not perfect, but as good as it gets. This app does everything that I need it to: Starts/stops music, controls volume, allows me to group/un-group rooms, and change sources. I don’t have Sonos speakers, I have Sonos Connect:Amps (6), an Amp, and a Port. At times it’s slow to connect to the system, but that could be the distance my watch is from the phone or the fact that I have a series 3 watch. Nicely done!

Update....Not what looking for. Update: The app slowly appears to be more than I thought. It's not intuitive, but I am beginning to start up the Sonos and change the rooms it's playing. Now I just need to figure out how to change stations/playlist. Changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. This app controls the Sonos only if most recently controlled by iPhone. I control my Sonos from my iPhone and my iPad. If I have it started on my iPad, I cannot do ANYTHING with this app unless I go get my phone. I was trying to remove that step from my life. Bummed.

Seamless integration. This is the first app I have ever paid for in my life and I’m very happy I did. I had family coming over in 15 mins and discovered I couldn’t work my Sonos from my new Apple Watch. I downloaded this app and had everything working from my watch within 5 mins. Everyone was impressed that I was controlling the tunes from my wrist. It’s so easy and intuitive.

How do I add new household/rooms?. App works great but I can’t add new household or additional rooms once it’s set up. Can someone please respond and explain how this is done? Update: customer support reached out and explained how to do this - you just disconnect it and reconnect it the households will load automatically. Thank you!

Broken for a while - now back being great. This is a great little app. A few weeks ago, following a Sonos update, it stopped working but today’s Sonos update (Sonos S1) seems to have fixed the problem. I updated everything, uninstalled and reinstalled Lyd on my Apple Watch and, hey presto, everything works again. Highly recommended.

Major improvements in recent months. I purchased this app years ago and I wanted to love it, but it was never reliable and slow. And for a while it wasn’t compatible with some OS releases. I gave up trying to use it mainly due to the sluggishness. After the version that came out with complications for the watch with performance and reliability improvements I gave it another go. I was blown away how fast it works and appreciated other UI improvements. This is now my go to controller for Sonos (aside from Alexa) since it runs very fast. I like dialing volume, and I find myself also using it to see what song is playing. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch series 5. Feature request: It would be nice to have a quick way to get to recently played music. Thank you for the improvements!

Works fine, but wake screen defaults to room view.. The whole point of having this app on my watch is to see what’s playing and be able to skip songs, control volume, etc. and do it quickly. Unfortunately, every time you lower your wrist and the watch sleeps, the next time the app reappears it defaults to the room view where you then have to then select which room you want to see what’s playing. Not a very quick way to see what’s playing or skip a song, especially if you’re busy doing like cooking or doing dishes.

Very nice little app. This app replaces what Sonos is apparently not interested in providing, the ability to control your Sonos system from your Apple Watch. It works like a charm and feels completely reasonable for the price. Thanks so much for taking the time to write this handy little hack!

Pretty much flawless. Lyd works great, I have no complaints. I bought an Apple Watch and was disappointed to find that there was no official Sonos app. I expected this app to be a bit buggy and unreliable, as that had been my general experience with third party remote apps. But Lyd works great and is really reliable. It’s a remote, it works, that’s all I need from it... five stars.

Can’t live without it.. I brought this app after seeing a recommendation online. I didn’t expect too much from it. But it really made controlling the Sonos speakers a breeze. I don’t even have to use the phone app and I can control the volume from my wrist. No need to get off my couch to hunt for the lost tv remote cause I’m using the beam and I can control the sound from my watch. If I want to hear some music on Sonos radio all I have to do is tap a couple of times on the watch and I can listen to different contents. Thank you developer for making me lazier and my life more convenient.😂 A big thumbs up and worth every penny of the price. And big kudos for not going with the subscription model. 👍

App works great.. As i was hoping app works great on apple watch Ultra. Wish it had more features but this is perfect. I can control all my indoor and outdoor sonos equipment without carrying my phone. Wish there was a better playlist selection or way to choose stations Still for what it does its a great app. It also integrates controls on your clock Face (complications).

Nice, but missing one feature. This app does a nice job of controlling my Sonos speakers, but one thing I would like to see is the ability to rewind by 15 seconds or 30 seconds. Where I would find this useful is when I am listing to Podcasts through Pocketcasts. I find myself wanting to back up a bit to catch something I missed. Maybe this feature is there, but I’m missing it? Otherwise, nice app.

Thank you!. Thank you for making this. It works great for me! Feature request, can we the ability to rate songs on streaming services such as thumbs up and down?

Exactly what I wanted. I’ve used this for at least 6 months. It’s awesome to be able to just tap my watch face to change volume on ANY of my Sonos speakers. No need to open app, fumble through “rooms”, etc. Simple and effective interface and good support as far as I can tell.

Not connecting to Sonos account - edited. Edited to add that I have finally gotten it to connect and now works well. Fingers crossed it continues! I have tried multiple times to get this to connect with my sonos account (I know I have the correct login info), and it says invalid password. When I try to use the “forgot my password” link, it gives an “oops! We are having trouble connecting to Sonos error”. I’ve been trying for two days to get this to work with no success. So frustrating!

Works perfectly. Rarely do third party controllers work and even then watch apps are even more iffy. But this app bucks both those trends delivering an elegantly designed and reliable experience controlling my home sonos system right from my wrist! Kudos to the team who built and continues to maintain this app. Well worth the low cost of entry. 5 stars.

Thank you to the developer. I can’t live without this app on my wrist. Always lose my phone and never lose my watch. Wish the app could do more but I’m not complaining. This saves the day multiple times so I big big THANK YOU to the developer

Fantastic. This app is great. Works well on the Apple Watch and works consistently. As expected, issues arise when Sonos updates its software but the developer is pretty quick to update the app. Some folks downvoting need to realize that these app developers don’t necessarily get the official software as a pre-release. It’s only natural for certain things to not work, but the developer is quick to implement changes to make sure it’s back and working again. That’s all you can ask for.

Better than Sonos iPhone app!. This is exactly what I was looking for to control my Sonos speakers from my Apple Watch. It is super easy to use and it makes it very fast to manage my speakers from all the different rooms I have them set up in. If you want simple, easy controls for your Sonos system from your Apple Watch, this is the app you need.

Does it all! Perfect app.. This is exactly the app Sonos should have made, but never did. It gives a surprising amount of control for a watch app – we have a bunch of devices and it lets you manage groups, set volume at a system or per-speaker basis, even change music easily from your faves list! I’m impressed – and the privacy policy is also exactly what it should be, but so rarely is. Nice work, sir!

Managing your devices may be sketchy. I guess it depends how you plan to use this. My main purpose in purchasing it was for managing devices and groups. I have an original Sonos sound bar on my TV and the first Sonos One in another room adjacent to my kitchen; both are fairly old which may or may not affect the app. I group the sound bar and the other speaker while in my kitchen so I can listen to the tv news while cooking. It works but intermittently the grouping just gets lost and I lose sound in my remote speaker even though the app says they’re still grouped. To fix it I have to make sure I back out of the menus and drill down again or it doesn’t work at all. I can’t just leave it on the manage group screen. So it works but with some annoyances.

I’m so impressed!!. Thank you Alexander!! From download to use took me about 5 minutes. Volume control is the thing I most needed, and when you need it, you need it now! I haven’t experimented yet with any other functions, but just having the volume control was worth the small price I paid for the app. Also - LOVE the mute option too!! Couldn’t be happier!

Excellent!. This app works great. Definitely deserves more than the current 3.8 rating. It has been completely reliable and very convenient. The only feature missing is search. However, for the low price, I’m not complaining. I will take quality over a missing feature any day.

An excellent app. While I had problems installing the app to the watch at first, a quick reboot of both my phone and watch fixed that problem. Once it was installed I quickly discovered it does everything I hoped it would - and more. The force press to group/ungroup is neat, as is near instant access to my Sonos favorites. A great app, well worth the purchase price and its place on my homescreen.

Thank You. I was so frustrated with other Apple Watch apps that supposedly control my extensive and expensive Sonos system on my Apple Watch 7 series. I was starting to dislike my Sonos system. Lyd just made me love my system again! Music is a huge part of my life. I listen to it all the time. I walk around my house’s three levels and two yards doing different things all day long while listening. I wanted control of my music on my wrist because I often want to pause, forward, rewind, change volume levels, start and stop music in different rooms. Trying to do this on my phone is just impractical, especially when my hands are full or I’m carrying something. Lyd made all that and then some possible. Best two bucks I’ve ever spent!

Must Buy App for Sonos owners. If you own Sonos speakers and have Apple iPhone and Watch, do not hesitate to buy this app. Just keeps on improving all the time!

Can’t control volume. I purchased this app for my Apple Watch ⌚️ but can’t control volume! What’s the deal with that!

Perfect 🎉. I just installed LYD App and this really makes life easier around the house controlling tunes. Thank you.

New user. Excellent app, easy to connect and works well will my system.

Works great with my Sonos playbase. All good, I’ve been looking for an app like this and it works well

So good: SONOS should buy this.. This is one of those apps that are so uncommon: they address a real need, they work well, and they’re well priced. This solves the potentially frustrating problem of being able to control all your music on your Apple Watch, except Sonos. The Watch “Now playing” feature works to some extent, but usually loses track of what you are playing, where. This app is rock solid and does exactly what it says it will do: control Sonos, every time. Sonos should buy this app and brand it as their own. Nice!

Really simple cost effective app. Just want I needed to allow Sonos to be so controlled on Apple Watch. Nice one!

Great app. App actually works very well on my Apple Watch and follows all my instructions. I can easily change the volume between rooms and it is much more convenient as you have it on your wrist and the app is always with you. I like how you can even change between songs and switch to mute by pressing the button. Overall great app and definitely worth it.

Simple and easy to use. Does exactly what t says! Connected seamlessly with my Sonos system. Keep up the good work!

Amazing update with watchOS 7. I really liked Lyd before the update but it sometimes kinda stuttered, especially when you hadn’t used for a few days but this new update, where it’s become a watch app in its own right...woah! Hats off to the dev!! A fantastic, complete app that works really great if you’re an Apple Watch wearer and Sonos owner! Don’t even think twice if you’re looking at this.

Was good.... Was working ok, a little slow, but functional. The last few months, even with the latest update, it won’t connect to what’s playing. I’ve reloaded the app and it does not refresh to show what’s currently playing through the rooms or control the speakers at all.

Fantastic app - a pleasure to use !!. This app was setup seamlessly with all features very well designed and working exceptionally well - would highly recommend this watch app as a great addition to the Sonos app on your phone ! What a great set of features Alexander now has with his latest Lyd 2.0 version update including simple access to playlists !! Keep up the excellent work, Alexander !!

Complete waste of time. Doesn’t control s..t!

Great little app… very handy, very reliable!. Fantastic app for controlling Sonos from the watch. I find the actual Sonos app can be buggy from time to time, however Lyd is so solid and reliable. Really handy to control Sonos on the go, including the volume via the watch bezel. Costs a couple of bucks, but well worth it

Ip address. You need my ip address, hmm is this safe, not sure. Not installing.

Completely Needed this. No more yelling downstairs to family to turn up the music or search for phone or iPad. If you ha e an Apple Watch and don’t have this loaded for your Sonos experience - you do t know what your missing. Don’t think about it - download it.

Amazing. Why this isn’t a native Sonos app I don’t know. It works great and is so convenient making quick changes from your watch. I originally had issues after install and the developer bent over backwards contacting Sonos and getting the issue resolved (an issue that turned out to be a Sonos problem). If you’ve got an Apple Watch, get Lyd!

Brilliant app!. Have been looking for this for a while. Sonobit was getting old. Volume control from the crown, not buttons. Switch within Sonos favourites from the watch. Dead simple install. And contrary to another review, it does NOT ask for your IP address: login is via your existing Sonos app.

Better than expected. This app exceeded my expectations. I was shocked how quickly it would open and connect. It’s faster than opening Sonos on my phone. I was also pleasantly surprised when I discovered I could use it to control all my speakers while at work too.

It doesn’t work at all. I’ve download The app on my watch and it can’t connect. Wasted my $3

J’adore. Excellent!

Can’t get it to work and was told to keep trying.. I don’t know if it’s Sonos or this app but I can’t get it to work. It won’t sync up with my Sonos. I sent sent an emailed the developer and they said it happens sometime just keep trying ! So far just doesn’t work! Don’t do it.

Works perfect so far. Love this app so far. Just installed it (super easy) and worked like a charm right away. You can add the app as a complication on the watch face so always easy to access and makes it even easier to listen to more music which is really what Sonos is all about. Is my new favourite Apple Watch feature.

exactly what i needed. Great app!

Nice!. Finally an app to control Sonos through my watch. I love it!

Got Sonos and an Apple Watch? You need this.. One of the best third party Apple Watch apps.

5 Stars. Absolutely easy to set up and works as it should - highly recommend this app!!

Love Lyd. I just love it. Control my Sonos with my Apple Watch it’s kindness like a futuristic dream

Just great. Amazing app !

Excellent App for controlling Sonos by Apple Watch. This is a well thought and designed. It’s very stable and functional. I’ve had this app for months and use it everyday. I recommend this app.

Works perfectly. Really easy to set up - works great. Definitely worth the money!

Love this app!. Like others if you own Sonos product and an Iwatch, it is definitely a must. Money well spent! Kudos developpers!

Best Sonos watch app. If you got a Sonos system and an Apple Watch, you 100% need this.

What a great app.. I am so in control of everything on Sonos system right from the wrist of my hand. Could not have asked for more. Thank you Lyd. You did a wonderful job.

You NEED this. If you have an Apple Watch and Sonos hardware, you need this app. Not only it works flawlessly, but it does things you wish Sonos would have thought about. First, you get a control on your watch. Second, you can control your music remotely. Why would you do this? When you forgot to turn everything off when leaving… My wish list: Complication that allows either to cycle through the zones and show what is playing, or a complication that allows to chose one zone to always show what is playing. The other ask is a way to use Lyd in shortcuts to integrate play/stop in arrival routines, something Sonos doesn’t yet do.

Excellent addition to Apple Watch. Works perfect, love how it works with the watch, allowing me to work out and adjust volume or songs from my wrist without the need to have my phone handy. Well done!

Want to give 10 Stars!. This app is AMAZING. Works perfectly on my Apple Watch with no set up. I can control all 6 Sonos speakers from my wrist. LOVE IT SO MUCH! I would pay $20 for this! You won't be sorry.

Does what it needs to. New to Apple Watch, one of the first apps I downloaded. Simple, easy, great app. I would love to see night mode and speech enhancement buttons that are on the Sonos app when watching TV.

Needs current playing song on complication. I love this app. It has given me a way to control my Sonos from my wrist. But I really wish the complication showed what song is currently playing. So I could just glance at my wrist and see. That would make it 5 stars.

Fantastic. Does exactly what it claims, which is rare with third-party apps like this. Basic functions like volume control are now faster than the Sonos app itself. Good stuff.

What I needed. Great product.. This is perfect for me. So far no issues and it does what I need. It controls the music on my patio (amp) and on all the Sonos components that I have in the house. It does exactly as it says.

This is the app you have been waiting for.. Very impressed with this app. It does almost everything you want for your Sonos system. The only limitation I have found is that you can only select from your Sonos favorites.

Sonos and Apple Watch...Get this app. I rarely am overalls impressed with the promise of an app, especially a watch app. This one is great. If you have a Sonos system and an Apple Watch and want to adjust the sound on your system just pay $2.00 and you will not be disappointed at all!!

Best App on my Watch. I am amazed how awesome this app is to control my Sonos with my watch. I have stopped using the Sonos app on my phone for everyday operation - this is easier, quicker and just plain better.

Solved my remote control of SONOS. Great app. Prior to this app I was going around with IFTTT creating many complications to remote control my mother house!! She is an old lady who enjoys music but have no idea how to group rooms, select music, create play list etc. Word of Advise. Make it happens to the iPhone. Why only Apple Watch.

Essential. I use this app every day, multiple times a day. It’s the Watch app Sonos should have made. Couldn’t ask for a better Sonos controller for my Apple Watch.

Glitches. After a while, the volume control stops responding. You can dial it up on your watch, but nothing happens. You then have to launch your Sonos app, play with the volume and then the watch up regains control of the volume. The two most important features that MUST work are volume and skip. And, one of them fails.

Efficiently does what it says on the tin.. Control your Sonos system with your Apple Watch. Can be a little uncooperative if the iPhone is not nearby, but this is a minor gripe. Grateful to this developer for implementing a glaring feature omission in the Sonos ecosystem.

Everything you’d want on your watch to control Sonos. Very happy with how natural this app worked into my setup. I’m curious to see how this will work with the new Sonos software coming in the next month. Hopefully the developer is ahead of it.

Outstanding App. Sold! I like using this better than the Sonos app on my phone! So easy to control, if you have a Sonos system and an Apple Watch - you need this!!!

Will not sync.. Updated review - initially tried for over an hour, will not sync to Sonos system or phone. (App support confirms “known issues”) App is not programmed correctly. Bought “Sonobit” app which worked instantaneously!! Don’t waste your money with this app. Buy Sonobit instead. After contacting app support, they suggested to “turn on and off my Sonos system” or just wait for it to connect??. They also suggested that my Sonos account is on the wrong system (it’s not) also that I had no speakers connected. Despite my system working flawlessly with all my Apple devices and all other Apple Watch apps. Sure it’s my system not this poorly programmed app..... Correct the issues and I’ll update this review.

Works perfect!. No idea why this only has 4 stars. Downloaded and had it up and running perfectly in 5 minutes. Couldn’t be happier.

Easy install. No problems. Easy to install. You have to shut down the phone and watch after you install it. Re start and bingo your ready to go! Well worth the $2.00. Cheaper than a cup coffee!

Simply incredible. Very few apps nowadays tend to impress me or are even worth a mention this is an exception. Great user face that actually works. Almost has too many features but they all work! Must have for a Sonos user.

Nest app for watch. This is the best Sonos controller for my watch, I can even control without Wi-Fi which is great and works perfectly I also can change group and send audio note to my speaker with my watch. I love it.

Works great. Best app I’ve found for controlling Sonos from watch. Works just how you’d expect. Only suggestion (but I assume there’s some OS limitation) is that it would be great to be able to start/change to music beyond only what I’ve marked in My Sonos.

Worked fine but not w 14,6. w ios 14.5 and before lyd worked fine no issues to control sonos all text in english But After installing Ios 14,6 the app all text is in Danish? And the watch face get enlarged 4time aka only a quarter of the watchface is seen… this could be a bug in ios or the LYD… The setting is English but text is still danish!… I can change to Deutsch … not get English!!

FINALLY!!. Been wanting this app for so long. Works perfectly. Never given a “tip” to an app developer before - just signed up for an annual recurring tip - well deserved!!

Finally! Shame on Sonos and Apple.. This app is Amazing! Its unbelievable that Sonos doesn't have an apple watch app. What are they thinking? And shame on Apple for not letting Sonos show on the lock screen while playing. An epic fail by both companies. Yes, you steve jobs wanna be.

Amazing Functionality. Kudos to the creator of this app for cramming such an incredible amount of features into this app. The functionality on the watch is thorough and intuitive. Stupendous.

Ltd Rocks. This is a wonderful app that works perfectly every time to control a fairly complicated Sonos system with multiple rooms and speakers. Sonabit never worked for me, but this app behaves flawlessly. Thank you !

Works great. Worked perfectly and was simple and quick to set up (less than one minute). Great product. Thank you! Using Sonos S2.

Never loads. I had this app for over a year and have only successfully used it twice. Every time I open it on my watch it says “no playback” and there is a spinning wheel. After waiting five minutes I get frustrated and just walk over to my computer or phone. Also by that time the song I didn’t want to hear is already over and I had to listen to it. Save your money, keep your phone near by. Less frustrating.

Thank you.. I honestly can’t believe this app exist. It’s literally everything I could want in a Sonos watch app. The design is great. The UI is easy to navigate. And it works every single time. And when I saw the Apple Watch face integration I almost passed out. 5 stars hands down.

Works great. Thanks for this, it looks good and works just like I need it to. Main need was setting the volume of each individual speaker my living room and this handles it wonderfully.

Good but a few bugs. Says “no music selected” for every room when paused or playing. Also gave errors at first had to reload a couple times. Would also like indicator in room list of which rooms are playing currently.

Watch App Works!. I control a lot of my life from my Apple watch. This app, and the complication, work beautifully! I have 4 SONOS rooms set up and I can control all of them, completely, from my watch!

I can’t believe how well and how much thought went into this app. This app works flawlessly in the detail and nuances of this app impressed me. It’s a fantastic must-have app if you have any Sonos system

💎 simple, elegant, works. A minimalist gem. If Sonos’ own app were this well-designed and reliable there’s be a whole lot more satisfied Sonos customers.

This is it!!. I have been looking for a Sonos app for Apple Watch. This is it!! No idea why anyone would rate this lower than 5stars. The app developer responds personally to everyone that has a problem. The app works great and well worth the nominal fee. Thanks much!!

Very nice little app. This app replaces what Sonos is apparently not interested in providing, the ability to control your Sonos system from your Apple Watch. It works like a charm and feels completely reasonable for the price. Thanks so much for taking the time to write this handy little hack!

How do I add new household/rooms?. App works great but I can’t add new household or additional rooms once it’s set up. Can someone please respond and explain how this is done? Update: customer support reached out and explained how to do this - you just disconnect it and reconnect it the households will load automatically. Thank you!

Just what I needed. Works great. Love being able to control system right from my watch

Simple useful app. I was looking for simple watch app to control my one Sonos unit. This is perfect. Not overloaded with features. I can start/change music from my favorites. Change volume with the dial on side of watch.

Disappointing. Update: I have figured out how to switch playlists, but it was not easy, nor intuitive. A reasonable value for $.99. Allows you to control play/pause and volume and rooms, but that’s it. No way to switch playlists; which is 90% of the reason to get it. Waste of money.

It took less than 1 minute to set up!. I read the hater reviews. Take a look at specifications and READ the directions. Works perfectly!

Fills the gap for Apple Watch control in Sonos. Was in the pool and forgot my phone inside and looked to see if Sonos had an Apple Watch app. Did my research and heard great things about lyd. Surpassed my expectations. Great app and thank you for making convenience of listening to music in the pool convenient!!

Flick of the wrist. This is a 15 hour per day Sonos household. Now even less of that time is spent looking for an iPad or laptop to change the music. Great app!

Amazing App!. I absolutely love this app for the iWatch! Sonos doesn't offer an iWatch app. It also works much better than the Sonos iPhone app. Worth the one-time cost!!

It’s more useful and more working well than Sonos App. Get this if you have an Apple Watch 5 and latest.

Amazing App. This is a must have for anyone who uses Sonos speakers daily like me. It is truly faster to play, pause, skip music on the watch than on my phone.

So thankful for this. It would be a big gap for me if I couldn’t control my Sonos Play:1 with my watch. Does the job very reliably! There are clear limits in what the Sonos API opens up to it, so you need to play from favorites - or you can add things to the Sonos queue and use it to control that.

Could be so much better. I think this app has serious potential. I love that I can use it to change music on my Sonos from my wrist. But the design needs to improve. Too many taps to get to my music. Very limited way to look at my music (alphabetical list). Please improve the interface and user experience.

Exactly what I wanted. I’ve used this for at least 6 months. It’s awesome to be able to just tap my watch face to change volume on ANY of my Sonos speakers. No need to open app, fumble through “rooms”, etc. Simple and effective interface and good support as far as I can tell.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I wondered why it wasn't working and found the details on your site. The process of waiting for approval can be a pain. I'm glad it's all good now!

Great addition for Sonos users!. I find this very helpful to control my Sonos systems when I don’t have my phone near me. It can be a little slow, but I think that’s more a factor of the Apple Watch not the software.
