I love this app!. When i got my 13 in march it was already loaded to it and at first it was so complex i didnt mess with it much. After i had to wait around a few times i found the things i enjoyed the most about it that far… sadly i had a tagalong in my cloud using data like a crackhead and calling apple and sprint/tmoble several hundred times did me no good and they have been trained well. The first thing they asked who did YOU give youre apple id or imei to… the same stuff happend to two phones one i expected it to happen to the other id had high hopes but it didnt last long and the isd breach caused the device to green screen and paying my bill was also a giant hassle. They claimed i had service so they wanted their money… i still havent paid for august-now and unless i get a few $k ill be getting a flip phone and wearing foil on my head when i turn this 11 on… its connecting to wifi with no carriere service… i feel pretty let down being a customer since 2018 i did enjoy the extras but im unable to afford the trouble involved with any smart phone… when someone tells you iphones are unhackable ask how the imei in every phone is protected… i hate all phones now… it was a waste of money and a useless investment….

It is SO detailed. So, all of the worse reviews are 100% because the users didn’t try hard enough or put in enough time on this app, because I’m not saying it easy for a beginner to use all of the complex features on this app. People who complained that they got discouraged when they couldn’t figure out the app, just keep trying, because there is honestly NOTHING YOU CAN’T DO with this amazing app. One motive for this review is that I felt bad for GarageBand getting beat down by all the bad reviews of people saying that it was bad because it was too hard or they just hadn’t figured it out yet. (no offense to those people) GarageBand is truly one of if not the best mobile music maker apps out there, you just have to put in the actual time and effort to unlock a world of musical possibilities. My only problem, and this started happening very very recently, is that now my device crashes whenever I try to open it up, but its no big deal because I’m sure that it’s just a problem with my device, and if not, it will be fixed soon. 😄😄

Ok I have some problems.. By: —————— So I think this app is pretty good but when it comes to making your own stuff there is a bad bad problem. I have no problem with creating stuff already made but today me and my mom wanted to create our own song on it and I used a lot of the loops. And then finally when I was about to hit record button, THE APP TOOK ME OUT OF IT AND I LOST ALL OF MY PROGRESS. (It crashed) It took me almost an hour just to get some of it done. And now all of the progress is gone and I really think that you need to fix that because if that’s gonna happen to every single time you make a new song by yourself that’s not created all ready, then you’re gonna have a lot of people saying the same thing. Maybe you can fix that bug in another update! Please do it because I am very mad at the game and I don’t want that to happen ever again. Overall i give it a three-star because the app allows you to still create songs that great so I gave you five stars for that but then I’m like im about I create my own song and then that happened so that’s why I took away 2 stars. But I still hope that you guys can make GarageBand way better than it is right now but I don’t mean that in a bad way because I already said that I like it I just don’t like it too much because it crashed. so please fix that because I don’t want this app to be on my bad app list for the rest of my life.

Hardstyle, and better sound quality. Please add more hard hitting instruments such as hardstyle or hardcore kicks like in a sound pack or something with hardstyle synths like sub zero project or d-sturb. Also, it would be good if you guys added punchy basses for psytrance. Basically garage band needs more music packs and it would be great to see an option with eq tampering and more effects for a single track. Sort of like FL studio but more simple. What would also be great is better sound quality, one main reason why I don't think I should use this app full time is because of the sounds. All of the keyboards and instruments seem that they need more treble and clear tone. Also we need more instruments in a project instead of 30 only. If this version of GarageBand had more tracks and higher BPM (for French core and hardcore) this would be a permanent option for me and I wouldn't have to pay extreme prices for an over complicated DAW. In conclusion, please add hardstyle, French core, and hardcore kicks (and synths). Make the sound quality better. And more effect tampering and eq tampering. Please read this.

NEEDS SERIOUS BUG FIXES. Okay the program works great, but once you add some FX, get ready for rage quit. The program will take at least four bars to get in time and in Tune for some weird reason and it’s quite annoying when you can’t get an idea out because the program is having ridiculous issues. On top of that, there has been multiple times where the program won’t even launch, and when it does all of my data isn’t there. It seems to be a serious hassle when your data isn’t there and you got to reset your iPad and reload the program 100 times before you can even enjoy yourself. I have even downloaded this programs most recent update along with my software update and these problems are still here. As far as I am concerned you people are lucky this program is cheap and is easy to work with when the issues are not present. As of right now, I wouldn’t even give this program a star for the problems that come along with it. And when the problems are fixed, I’d give it six.

Farts. Last time I used this one time to my phone and my internet is working so I don’t know what if it works out for you but I’m not sure what what time to happen when you are in town and if you have any one more than you can do it will be fine if I need your money to go eat it again and I’ll give it back when you come home and I’ll give you a mommy call me when you can go to get my internet and I will give you a call later when I can do it on my internet and I don’t have internet connection so I don’t have internet connection so I don’t have internet access so I’m not sure if I can do it but it’s just a mommy I don’t want it on everything I need it for me and my internet connection so I don’t have internet connection so I don’t have internet connection so I don’t have internet connection but it’s a random error 😨 my password was on the queen 🤴 and my friend request was my password to go commit and then why did it go do I have it in the queen 🤴 my phone is yes it was for like my phone and it didn’t let us go.

I would love to give this app 5 stars.. For what it’s worth, I’m a new app user, and new to the workings of production in general. I find that from what I know, GarageBand runs pretty smoothly. I REALLY love some of the synths, and tbh, before I started using GarageBand, I didn’t really have much of a trajectory in life. I used GarageBand for a few months, and suddenly(and this was just for a moment), I realized that MAKING music out of pure love and appreciation for the art of it, the SOUND of it, was exactly what I wanted to do with my life, for the REST OF MY LIFE. I don’t know if I’m supposed to give the app all the credit or not but, I DO think they were the catalyst for something amazing to shift inside myself. Not to get off topic though, I DO love the app. I don’t however have access to uploading to SoundCloud for some reason , but maybe this is happening to everyone?? I hope someone sees this and can help but even if they can’t, I am VERY happy for the self discovery I was able to make with this app, and for some for some of the pieces I was able to create, even if I can’t yet upload it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!!

You can take this app more serious.. Apple has really stepped up the mobile DAW scene with this update. There's NO mobile software out there that's better than GarageBand right now. I don't use much samples in my work so the added mixing features helps me customize and bring out my sounds even better now and I can finally practice touching knobs before I buy a Macbook and really start working on tracks at a more professional level. I started using GarageBand a year ago and it just gets better and better. *UPDATE* So I'm 2 years into using this app and I really learned a lot. You can make underground level tracks using the app alone it has a ton of features and if you know what your doing you can create really cool sounds. I have the alchemy synths (via iPhone 6) and they sound great so far. The electric drum kits need a new update like the keyboards did they sound a bit outdated at times with the new sounds. I think an updated 808 trap kit would be good and a few more basses other than all the dubstep ones. A couple of amps for guitar/bass would also be pretty cool! A few extra mixing effects wouldn't be a bad thing either I really learned a lot with that new feature and it's really key for beat makers to become real producers. Also if you really read these reviews apple you should add to the mastering options a bit as well. Just a few more options to help introduce beginners to the world of engineering more. Great app though keep up the great work we appreciate it!

It’s Amazing!. GarageBand is definitely one of the best apps I’ve ever used. You can do so much with it, even on mobile devices. There are so many instruments, from analog, to synthetic, to even classical styles like piano and strings. It is so easy to use, and it has been by far the best app. Not only that, but you can even send a GarageBand song directly from your computer to Apple Music! If you have a mobile device, you can airdrop it to a computer and do the same. The only problem I’ve had so far is that it cuts out quite frequently, though that may be a storage issue on my own terms, because it happens with my other apps too. I’ve been using GarageBand for almost seven years now, and I have created an endless amount of songs. I think it is very good for beginners who want to become musicians, or even just for fun. Especially being a kid, I’ve always wanted to make music of my own, and this has been the best app to start pursuing my dream. Thank you, Apple 🙂

Awesome but frustrating. They got an enormous amount of options you can tweak for each set of sounds. Brain overload I suppose unless your familiar with. Two annoying things is the when an object has double actions, for instance the bottom bar is scrollable to see the different beats that are available, but if you just tap it then it starts all the instruments with beats in that column, no way of getting back to what you had…. Very frustrating when you have something you like going and then gone because iphone detected the touch incorrectly. The other thing is that when you tap it to start pay, the beat not the recording, it takes second to even start, so your timing get all screwed when your trying to start it at mid-count it can be annoying to say the least…. Undo should be for the last action of any kinda character a see to fix these mistakes, but it does have not…. If something had dual scrolling(toggle bar and instrument selection) it can get stuck on one action until you remove your finger and let is set fir 20sec…… the scroll motion has to be straight, which my thumb doesn't, slide it rotates…

Headed in the right direction. I love what Apple’s done with GarageBand and GarageBand iOS over the past few years, and I’m glad that now you can import and playback MIDI files on GarageBand iOS. HOWEVER, I’m still waiting for Apple to allow the EXPORT of MIDI files FROM GarageBand Mac & iOS. That would be a feature I could use that would round out the app as a near-“proper” DAW. That aside, I love the Alchemy presets and all the ways you can tweak them to create your own unique patches, plus the great user interface which makes it easy to use for both people new to making/recording music and longtime producers/DAW users. I’d also like to throw in though, that while I don’t generally use them myself, as well-crafted as the (post-2016) built-in and downloadable loops are, they’re pretty much only for EDM and dubstep music, maybe occasionally scratching the surface of pop-trap beats and glitch-hop. I’d personally like to see more loops that lend themselves to old-school hip hop or something. P.S. — This is all coming from someone who has used multiple DAWs (GB being a constant usually) separately and together, for many different styles/genres of music, electronic and otherwise. 🙂

CRAZY POTENTIAL, but lacking some basics.. If you’re looking to get into producing, GarageBand is definitely one of the easiest things to start with. It’s relatively easy to pick up and is simple to navigate. It takes MIDI input (at varying success rates) and the edit menu is generally very good for fine tuning (except for guitar tracks, with the 6 strings of the instrument having completely different midi tracks??) What it tends to lack in is more basic synthesis patterns. The closest I’ve been able to get to basic synthesis on this app so far without plugins required downloading a sound font pack. Even then, I found myself having to fumble with equalizers and distortion to get a moderately OK sounding sawtooth wave. The fact I had to go through that alone to get a basic wave is annoying but it’s not too bad when you take into consideration the ease of installing plugins into GarageBand. (Although a built in virtual analog synthesizer would be awesome, something similar to the Yamaha Reface CS in terms of simplicity and variety.) I do wish there were also more built in effect pedals. I frequently find myself wanting to use HP/LP filters and if the synth patch I’m using doesn’t have those built in I just have to deal with it. Overall, I’m very excited to see what the future holds for this app and I recommend it as a good platform for beginners through intermediate.

Amazing App. I paid $100 for another DAW on my computer and have been using it for years, then I download GarageBand on my phone and find that I can do more on this app than I can on my expensive PC-operated DAW. Granted, if I understood the technical side of the production process better I'm sure I could get more out of the other DAW, but I don't have the time it takes to learn it, and Garage Band is very intuitive in comparison. So while it might be less powerful overall compared to FL Studio or Ableton, etc; in the hands of an average user like myself, GarageBand ends up being more powerful simply because it's easy to use. I think Apple knows that if they offer a high-quality, powerful and intuitive audio workspace for free that it gives people a reason to buy their products. So if you already have an iPhone or Mac, might as well take advantage of that access. It's crazy what you can do on the iOS app. I never would have thought I could work entirely from my phone and produce quality music.

forced auto-normalization. i love this app and have been using it to experiment with music for many years. it’s helped me grow into a pretty solid music producer/beat maker and i’d love to have confidence using it on professional projects, but the auto-normalization can’t be turned off. this was fine when i was just learning but i’ve long since outgrown it and would like to turn it off. it was a bit disappointing to find out that auto-normalization could be turned off in the Mac version but not the iOS version :( I’d like to mix my songs in garageband and then master them in another app but every time i export, it gets rid of all the headroom i tried so hard to make because it normalizes all the peaks to 0db. the mixes sound okay but i feel like the forced auto-normalization is keeping me at a plateau in my growth as an artist. i can’t learn how to master the way i want if i can’t export from garageband without it normalizing. please make an option to turn this off like the Mac version. to me, that’s been the single consistent downside to the iOS version for so long, but the addition of this option would make it perfect. Either way though, thank you guys for an awesome DAW!

I want to use wind instruments, but they’re not there!. I’m a beginner music maker, and I’ve been playing in a school band for a lot of my life, so I grew up loving wind instruments like flute, trumpets, etc. but as of July 10, 2019, there doesn’t seem to be an option to get them. I searched for extensions to add to GarageBand so that I may use the more traditional instruments, but I couldn’t find anything. All I have is the computerized digital percussion, some strings I don’t know how to use (yet), and a piano which I’m unable to really use because on my phone screen, the accents and attacks on the instrument are very spontaneous and annoying. It’s a good app, don’t get me wrong, but no matter where I look, I can’t find any instruments I know what to do with in a composition (i.e. wind instruments). There also doesn’t seem to really be a good way of making music box music in it no matter how hard I try (I try using the Sweet Bells on the piano setting, but even after messing with the sound settings it still doesn’t feel right). The reason I point these things out is because I want to create more traditional or fantasy-based music. It would be nice to be able to create some ethereal music without struggling to find the instruments. Other than that, the app is wonderful and intuitive. I intend to keep using it, just so long as I have access to wind instruments and hopefully a music box-like instrument. Thank you for your time!

Awesome app!. GarageBand has become my best friend. I have been using it for about a year and a half now and have made over 100 songs on it. It is perfect for anyone who has a curiosity about making music. It is so easy to pick up and start using, and the learning curve is nice and progressive. To this day, I’m still learning new things about it! Such a little app contains so much power to create music of one’s own; it is truly second to none. The only reason it didn’t get its fourth star is because of bugs I’ve had to work around and one bad one that prompted this review. I recently had a bug pop up that would crash the app before it even opened. I couldn’t use it at all. I had to delete and reinstall the app and when I did, all of my songs were lost, even though they were saved in iCloud. There have also been other bugs that I had to work around in the past (most of which got fixed in the recent update), including reverse recordings not working and the recordings sounding way different than the loops they were recorded from. I do recommend this app to anyone wishing to start up in music, but beware of the bugs.

Issue recording vocals stops recording and doesn’t record anything you’ve recorded. Anyone know how to solve this recording stopping no matter how I record anything thru physical mic on iPhone 6s it use to record just fine. I’m about to purchase an iMac Pro and midi keyboard. Over the years I’ve tried all the daws garage band I can actually have finished work. I absolutely love it! MacBook experience wasn’t the best but it was an MacBook from 09 iPad Pro super impressed! So I can’t wait till I get the iMac Pro! I’m holding an pretty chart rank currently 17th global and 14th national chart rank. Trying to maintain this momentum until the iMac. GarageBand you tha best well tie with logic minus the new samples and loop packs! Alltho I use external more I still love physically playing the instruments that’s super dope! I now know how to play piano/keyboard and never played before. Does anyone know how to fix this recording stopping? Space seems to be the issue as always. Haha so I’m sure it’s the space problem. I deleted the app and re downloaded it and permanently lost roughly 20-25 new projects. Keep the live instruments coming definitely pretty dope! Especially playing drums and keyboard definitely give GarageBand an overall 6+ stars if I could cut samples that would be nice. Much love GarageBand been with ya guys and only you for almost 5 years now. -Khanflik-d

Okay, but here’s the problem….. I am a music producer and songwriter, and i’ve been using GarageBand for almost 5 years. Here’s the thing: GarageBand is great for simple songs and anything without complex vocals, keys, etc. But when you want to do detailed recording + editing, GarageBand simply doesn’t have the complexity that other music production software does. With this being said, GarageBand is a great starter tool and the best free production software i’ve seen. Here are some suggestions: Make it so you can tweak the vocals exactly. I know you can do it with piano, guitar, etc., but if you could pitch the singing to be the exact note you want, that would make any flats or sharps in it less noticeable. On the note of singing, I also think that there aren’t a lot of filters on the audio recorder. It would be nice to add some more that would actually be useful (crowd vocal options, main singer options, etc). Also, I really wish there were more loop options, especially acoustics. Most of them are some type of R&B or Hip Hop, so adding more genres for the loops would be beneficial. Thank you for reading, and please take this into consideration.

Essential for songwriters. I have been writing songs for over 20 years through a simple 4-track and using a drum machine. When I first heard about GarageBand, I thought it was a music-related computer game. I even got an iPad which already has GB downloaded on it from the factory and never even opened it for a year. Finally, I was bored one day and thought I’d take a look at it. WOW! I couldn’t believe how robust and professional it was! Here I’m tinkering with a 4-track and drum machine from the 80s all this time while I had a pro-quality music studio to write and produce sleek sounding demos just waiting for me to discover it! I’ve recorded some 400+ songs in GB that sound so good, some people actually think I recorded with an actual band! The drum sounds are impeccable along with fantastic bass, piano and string instruments. They even added brass horns! I just wish they included a saxophone with the horn selection. My favorite feature is the edit feature for each virtual instrument, especially when it comes to the drums. I’m able to move snare hits, kick hits, hi hat patterns, etc. to make them sound much more natural, like a real drummer would play. GarageBand is easy to use. You’ll be recording masterpieces in no time!

Surprisingly great. GarageBand is one of those music softwares that gets backlash because it’s “not professional” or because it’s “on a phone”. However, a quick look at all the new effects and instruments Apple has added to the newest version of the iOS GarageBand will nullify those criticisms. I have used GarageBand on my iPad and phone for three years now, and I have produced very good sounding music with it. Its pre-made synths are easy to play with and manipulate to the producer’s liking. If you are not content with your technical skills or musical connaissance, then Apple offers hundreds of loops, from beautiful synth chord progressions to distorted rock drum kits, that you can chop up and use in your songs. It is hard to see any flaw with the newest GarageBand. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in dipping their toes into production. And if music-making isn’t your goal for your future career, the app is still loads of fun and a good way to unload creativity and boost your imagination. Strong 5/5 for this app!

Love it! But I have a huge problem.. I love the app but I have a problem. I’m making a pretty long medley. Roughly 350 measures in total. It’s been playing back and working well. Every so often, it says “Optimizing performance…” which is pretty normal, although it takes a while. Anyway, it just happened, I waited, and somewhere in the middle I got a “storage almost full” alert. I let it finish optimizing, and then I went into settings and cleared roughly 8GB of data. I go back into GarageBand, and my audio wasn’t working. So I closed it and re-entered. It was working again, but cutting out at some parts. So I closed it again and reset my phone and tried again. After a few tries, I discovered that it now works all the way until about measure 219 or so, and then the audio cuts off. But it doesn’t cut off all together. Certain instruments go about one beat before the others. What is that all about? I would be really upset if I really just lost 100 measures of audio. Please respond to this or update or help me somehow. I’m really worried.

Hung up my phone call without asking. Haven’t gotten to use it yet, but i heard it’s good. Only complaint at the moment is that i was on a late night call with my bf, the kind where he’s asleep already and I'm still awake with weird creative thoughts in my brain. I know, cringe, but we just like feeling each other’s presence even we’re physically apart. Anyways i decided to give the app a try cuz I’ve heard good things about it and it’s in one if those dusty folders on my phone of apps i never use. So i open it and a pop-up tells me i can’t open garageband while im on a call. Weird but ok, i’d understand if i can’t record audio on the app but i can’t even enter it? I press “ok” (the only button it gave me) thinking i could just try again tomorrow and IT HANGS UP MY CALL WITHOUT EVEN VERIFYING THAT THAT IS A THING I WANTED TO DO. Obviously i can’t call back cuz my bf is asleep, and obviously it’s not that big a deal cuz I’ll see him tomorrow, but it’s still extremely annoying and frankly RUDE that they didn’t ask first before hanging MY phone call. Thanks for ruining my love life GarageBand. Haha but seriously, please consider fixing that feature. I’m going to sleep.

It used to be super good.... GarageBand used to be awesome, it was my first music program and I loved it. Even when it first started out and it didn’t have as many features as it does now. However, over the updates and all, it’s performance has definitely dropped. It’s very laggy, it’s extremely buggy, I’ve had multiple files disappear (luckily iCloud saved me from that), and almost every single time the sustain doesn’t work properly. I record with sustain on and it plays with it off no matter how many times I keep putting the sustain on and it’s very annoying. When I tap on a key lightly it’ll play extremely loud but when I play it actually with force, it’s quiet and it happens multiple times. It’s made making music extremely frustrating and I stopped using this app. The MacBook version is much better but isn’t as portable and a lot of the keyboard sounds are nowhere to be found and it feels different and I don’t use it as often. Not only does the app itself feel laggy, but when using AIRPODS, APPLES OWN PRODUCT, it doesn’t even play correctly and there’s a huge delay when playing notes. Auxy and other music apps don’t have this problem when I use AIRPODS, so why is GarageBand BY APPLE having this sound delay when other non apple products are? It used to be 5 stars but I’m giving it 2 stars.

Tuning, and time signatures. Hello! I love this app and I use it all the time to jot down music ideas I get through the day. One thing that I struggle with, though, is working around 4/4 or 3/4 or 6/8 when I’m trying to work in other time signatures. Things don’t meet up on the ones anymore and it’s a struggle to wrap my head around. Also, when trying to develop ideas in other tuning systems, like just intonation, it’s extremely tedious to 1. Record one midi string note 2. Merge that to itself so it’s just audio 3. Put that audio into the sampler 4. Adjust tuning by using the fine tuning feature 5. Merge new sample midi with itself so I don’t change the tuning for note a when I’m trying to change the tuning of note b. Can you add some way to make each sample track individual so when you adjust things like tuning, it only adjusts that one track and not all other sample tracks? Ideally I would like to have a feature where you can slide each individual note in a midi string track +/- 50 cents. Maybe even adding something like the current articulation feature but for tuning on each note. That way we can slide our notes up and down to the exact vent we want.

Buggy, not as user friendly as desktop. Title says it all, I think. Many times I haven’t messed with any settings but it’ll randomly stop playing an entire track it previously had no problems with upon playing the 2nd or 3rd time after opening any project, not muted, and no matter what I do I can’t fix it unless I completely re-record it. Can’t copy and paste it to a new track, either. Feels like it randomly corrupts the files somehow or something, lol. The features that make it easy to edit your track on desktop is not at all user friendly on here. It randomly glitches sometimes, when I’m not even touching the iPad, to make it to where only tracks are showing and you can’t access your options to show the library again bc it’s literally not present on the screen, so you have to force close it and re-open it to be able to access your library to add tracks or change instruments. Input lag is also an issue if you’re solely on your iPad. So many times it won’t be able to catch all of the input, and then editing it to ensure it has the missed sounds is again, a nightmare. For me, nice if you want to mess around or start some ideas, but editing is so clunky and buggy I’d recommend sticking to desktop for the final whatever’s.

Garage Band. I’ve heard of this app before from teachers, friends, and family, and I decided that I would give it a shot! When I first downloaded the app, I wasn’t sure what it was going to be like, but now that I have it, I am highly impressed! This app is so cool in so many different ways! Let me tell you about this app! Garage Band has many different styles of music and different instruments. You can download different styles of music for free! This will give you access to more instruments, sounds, and more! My personal favorites were 8-bit Legends, Trak Girl, Soulection, Tom Misch, Oak Fedler, and Chinese Modern. When you choose one, you can play around with the sounds and instruments and pick which ones you would like to play in your song. When you hit the record button, you can click which sounds you want to play at that moment and the tune. You can get a little creative and play around with the tones, tempo and more! I am a dancer, and I liked having the opportunity to make some fun songs to dance to! All of your Garage Band Songs will be saved in files. Another good thing about this is that you can share your songs with other people through iMessage, email, Airdrop, Notability, Notes, Freeform, and more! This app is really cool and fun! You should give it a try and let your inner music maker shine! ☺️ Look for more reliable review at ⭐️five star reviews⭐️

Let’s Do It!. This is a fabulous app that is an absolute Must for writers/arrangers who get stuck alone (not good) at airports, parking lots, Etc .. The sounds are absolutely fabulous! I could pick nits and say that on cannot press the drum-stick into the drumhead depressing just enough to tighten the next strike to a different semi-tone ... but I won’t. It is great for mapping out numerous tracks of a song in your head with symphonic strings or Japanese instruments (of which I had never heard) but which sound very Celtic. It is a candy store with invisible, one -way lids: they keep the candy clean but you can reach right through and grab whatever you need for the next part of your song! It is absolutely almost all of the “Jetson-type“ musical things about which I dreamt as a child. Everything for a complete rainy afternoon at my fingertips! If you can imagine it, most likely you can write it on this with the use of myriad tools. It’s learning curve is practically idiot proof – as attested to buy my ability to use it with such ease. Get this wonderful app and open up all the windows you can find As You Need and use them: choose a few at the beginning and find out how incredibly wonderful it is as you add on to your knowledge and your abilities. I am waiting to hear that someone has used this for an entire movie score ... it will not be long in coming – if it hasn’t already happened! Thank you for presenting this app to all of us to use it! It is almost God-given!

.... I’ve been using this app for almost four years now, during a time which I knew close to nothing about music. After playing around for a solid year, this gave me a good grasp on the central workings of music, from a steady beat to more classical elements. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the amount of pack additions, especially in the last year or so. However, I do have some critiques. 1: I know it’s possible on some other interfaces, but there must be a way to look at the tracks and the instrument at one time. Going back and forth hasn’t been the best experience for me. 2: this is a little petty, but the loops need to be organized better. The fact that I have to look up ‘piano’ instead of just putting it into an instrument is ridiculous. Also, adding onto this, there should be more loops of different time signatures. 3: This is probably the worst of my critiques; where is Macne nana. I’ve heard of rumors that she was created by GarageBand, (hence the Mac) and I’d love it if there was any sort of text to song audio that could be used, especially if it worked the same as the sampler, or maybe even the smart drummers. Overall, this app is probably the best mobile music creation app I’ve used. The rest cost money for what can be done for free here.

Needs to be solved. So I have been using this app since the iPhone 5s. And I have a major complaint it is a major book for those who are using voiceover with GarageBand. It’s a book Apple needs to take care of. I am a voiceover user myself and I have been having this issue. Whenever you would like to add compression, change your EQ, add reverb, or echo, or any really cool affect like reversing the track, changing the speed so if you were trying to make those rap style high hats, or adding other great effects. Garage band will not let you, as soon as you close out of your mixer it erases all of the things you’ve done. Matter of fact it doesn’t even add DFX it’s like you never even added them. I have been dealing with this bug, since I started using this app I have never been able to successfully add any of those amazing plug-ins garage band will not even change the sound of your recording, as soon as you go and increase or decrease the amount of compression reverb or like I said any of the other affects, and you close out of the mixer and prepped play to hear your track it doesn’t add them, then you go back to your mixer and look at it and see they’re all back down to 0% Apple please please fix this issue, recordings with sound so much better when you can actually affect the sound. This bug has been going on long enough. On behalf of me and other voiceover users a like please fix this issue

Awesome but things for the future. This app is awesome but we need like a avatar thing so we could soo our avatar playing. And it would be cool if we did like an online rap battle with avatars but since this app is GARAGE band there should be a garage and we can customize. There should also be a chatting system so we can chat with our fellow rappers but if there is a chatting system there should be a friend system. Also there can be like a setting so that you can change your name and profile pic of your avatar. So if you do this this will make the game more interesting and cool and get more subscribers. Oh yeah and there should be like a thing where you can get clothes and more hairstyles but ya I think it can also ask for your gender there should also be a hair treatment so that you could do blonde fading into purple and all that stuff but I really think you should put this on your list. Please put this on your list thank you!!! From, Anonymous person that 💕 s the app

Awesome But I Wish These Features Were Added. I’ve been using GB for a while now and overall it’s a really good DAW for mobile, at least when you get the hang of it. There’s just some things I wish were added to make the experience even more better. I get a lot of my sounds from online kits and there isn’t really a way to organize them since if you insert a file in the file section (the one with Apple Loops on the top right), it grays out the file and I can’t click on it. So basically I have like hundreds of mp3, wav and more files unorganized so most of the time I can’t figure out which file it came from. Another feature I wish was added is the time stretch feature. There is multiple ways to do this but you have to use the sampler and/or other apps to time stretch audio files which, in my opinion, is just time wasting and inefficient. It would be much more easier to just implement the feature itself into GB. Overall though, I would say if you’re new to making music and don’t know what DAW to start off with, I would choose GarageBand.

Apple PLEASE read!. Hello my name is Caleb. I’ve been using garage band for many years now and I’ve always loved it from the start however there is a problem that I’ve run into recently that I hope you can fix. It’s a strange problem actually but garage band still deserves 5 stars anyway. So when I started using garage band there wasn’t as much content as there is now, less then a third probably. I was easily inspired to make music and could make neat catchy tunes every other day but now it’s harder to do that because there’s SO MUCH content it’s overwhelming because besides the five main things (guitar, vocals, drums, strings, and piano) there so many sounds like synths, bass, leads and such that I never know where to begin and I lose all interest in my creation, but I think that if you put a “sample” button on each sound so that we can hear just a single note at middle C or -1C for bass that would instantly get rid of the problem. Most of the time I know what sound I want but I can’t find it and I have to select a sound, play my song, and see if it’s the right one which takes to long with there being hundreds of choices. There might be this sound sample feature already and I just don’t know how to use it but if not please consider adding it. It would help so much and I’m sure I’m not the only one who would thank you.

Pretty Good.... I like this app a lot and I honestly think that once I get better at producing music, that this could be a go to for me until I get to a professional stage in my career. The only problem is that there aren’t a lot of sound packs to choose from and it kind of gets boring after a while hearing the same sounds over and over again in almost all of your songs. So I think there should be more sound packs to choose from and that there should be more loops as well cause anytime I look through there it’s always very repetitive and boring. I also think there should be a quick tutorial cause I’ve had a lot of friends delete this app just because it was hard to navigate through and figure out what was what and where they could edit certain loops or some of their own samples at. It doesn’t have to be suuuper long but it should just go over the basic aspects of the app and where everything is at so that it’s easier for new producers to find stuff. Overall I’d recommend downloading this app cause it’s worth the while (at least until it gets old and boring but I still get on sometimes) I almost forgot to add that I also think it’d be a nice feature if you were to add a hidden loops list where you can remove loops from the general list and specific genres and things so that whenever you’re looking for some good loops you don’t come across the ones you know you’ll never use or just don’t vibe with.

Pretty darn good. This app has come a long way. The touch instruments sit in a mix really well, I’ve used GB for remixes handling 1+ gb of stems on an iPad Air 3rd gen and it performs admirably. It hosts AUv3 instruments and effects (for some time now) so there’s really no limit to the sounds you can get in here. The editing is really straight forward and behaves how you’d want it to. There’s re-key and stretch on recorded audio and it works pretty well in my opinion. Honestly, it’s nearly the total package… my ONLY gripes are that I’m missing a proper mix bus, like with a master channel, and I’m missing out on more automation. I know you can automate knobs on the internal instruments but there’s not a way to visually edit that after the fact, which is a bummer. I do understand this wouldn’t be trivial to add. But maybe one day… For the price, you can’t go wrong. I’m even really happy with some of the amp sims (both guitar and bass) lately. Also it works just as well on the phone as it does on the iPad, which you can’t say for all universal apps.

Almost perfect. Ok so I’ve been using GarageBand seriously for 3 years. And I’ve enjoyed making beats on it. I truly have. I think it just needs a little bit of adjustment. One thing I request is to add in a saxophone sound. I’ve been trying to make a chill beat with a saxophone in it and I’m not gonna buy a saxophone for this one beat. Another thing is to have tuned drum kits. For example, in the FL studio you can use a hi-hat sound, but it on a piano roll, and make a cool effect where if you make a quick chromatic sequence, it has a cool ascending hi-hat sound. I have one last request. Auto-tune. Now you don’t have to, but it would be a cool little feature to have on GarageBand. Like say I were to record me singing one note, say middle C. I would like for that note to change into other notes. Like if I recorded myself singing the note C, and the word “office”, and both syllables were on beat, each syllable could be different notes, or to make it more complicated, divide the syllables by twos, threes, fours, fives, sixes and so on and so fourth. Ok that got complicated. I just wanted to get the specifics about a possible new auto-tune feature. But so far the app is great I just request those three things. Have a great day!

I love this app but plz add!. So first of all you guys did a great job on this app but I would love it if you added more guitars so like a Stratocaster and more pedals because I actually play guitar and when I am away from it I like to play guitar related things so this is my go to app for that so I want the full experience of more pedals for all guitars and it would be nice if you added a ukulele and I would love it if you added more frets for the guitars on iPad but I don’t know what model my iPad is but plz add more frets, a few more guitars, more pedals, and I would love it if there was a way to palm mute or mute strings and a way to tune down your guitar while playing the app. So my overall review? I love this app but I just wish you could add a few more things so if you are a musician and you don’t have an instrument this will help and it’s fun too so devs at Apple keep up the good work and maybe make a shooting game on here because you guys are legendary so you could easily make that but anyway everyone I highly recommend this game!

Great but could use work. I think this app is great! It’s perfect for musicians, and if your just starting your music career this a perfect helper. Usually I just like to play around with the digital instruments and make instrumental songs. This app actually kinda helped me learn guitar (though that not my official instrument) and taught me a lot about music. But, I’m giving this app 4 stars, for a few reasons. First of all, there’s not a lot of options for different instruments to play. Basically it guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and a couple other random world instruments. I would love to see them add brass or woodwind instruments and/or other types of world instruments (sitar, bagpipes, xylophone, etc.) Also, the acoustic drums are terrible. I’m a drummer, and I’m good with screens. But every time I play a beat, (mind you I play with a metronome so I know I’m playing in time) it records some terrible sounding sloppy beat that I never played. So all in all, this a a pretty good app for beginner musicians to get started recording music, but does have a couple small flaws.

Please add Triplet grid and Odd time signatures. I use this app to pass the time when I’m bored and I gotta say… I don’t think another free app exists that is as good or robust as this one. The keyboard patches can get dry at times but the audio recorder function is top notch. There are tons of drum patches but the “acoustic” drum patches sound absolutely terrible unless you put some work into them. I guess that is pretty normal on professional DAWS on your computer but I use this app to pass the time and really don’t want to spend 15 min trying to get my drums to sound like drums. Another downside I see is that the 4/4 grid is the only grid truly fleshed out in the app. If you switch to 3/4 or 6/8 (the only other options that exist at the moment) the app starts to have issues. If you try to paint notes on the grid it doesn’t quite land where you press and the grid goes directly from quarter notes to 32nd notes. And there is no triplet grid for any time signature. You just have to move notes around to where you think they might fall. Also, I wish there were more options for the time signatures themselves. I think on the computer you can just type in any subdivision you want and it creates a grid for you. But, all-in-all a great free app if not the greatest of free apps for the musically curious types.

Better than fl studio mobile. I can't stop giving this app props because this is honestly the greatest music producing app so far... I'm actually in love with GarageBand the fact that there's so much to it actually makes me hype every time I get on the app. First timers will use the loops to create there songs that can tailor to there style. You can also add your own loops with the keyboard selection and synths. Millions of sounds that you can expand your arsenal with and it doesn't stop there. You can even download your own samples to expand your sound selection. Like I can record a note from my grand piano and turn it into its own song. This app will never die out as long as there is more and more sounds added to it. The only suggestion I'd add to GarageBand if I could. Would be to add more sound FX and chants. The essential to making genres of music is something that makes them memorable and the sounds that you can add will show it. I love this app and I hope it continues to grow because this potential already exceeds that of computer software. I can't wait for the community to grow more and more so that people won't have to spend 200 dollars on something when they can simply download a FREE app!!!

Problems, Solutions and Requests.. There are way too many keyboards which is good but it makes it pretty hard to browse the huge library. Can we have the option to star our favorite keyboards like in apple loops to make browsing easier. Browsing drums can also be a pain because sometimes i like the kick of a drum machine but the snares or hi hats are bad so i have to go load through the hundreds of drums machines until i find some good ones. Can you add a custom drum machine where you can add any kick, snare, etc from any drum machine and be able to save those custom drum machines and also have the ability to favorite the the individual samples from drums to make browsing easier. We also need more cinematic drums! Lastly we need a master track so we can master our songs for free or at the very least be able to export wav files at -6Db so we can master using a 3rd party app. No matter how low i have the volume, when i export wav files its always pretty loud so there’s no room for mastering. Thank you for your time and consideration.

NO 2/4 Time template/background. It is absolutely amazing and astonishing that Apple provides as default time signature rhythm templates NO 2/2 or 2/4 patterns but only a 4/4 template. SERIOUSLY Apple??? Lemme guess re this UX design flaw: the designers are under 30 and listen only to 21st century white rock/pop stuff. This is where either having a UX person with some maturity can be helpful or at least a person with perhaps some actual music education - someone who not only has listened to but has studied the roots of American music much of which is based in 2/2 and 2/4 time signatures. Another way of saying this is that most of the folk songs and music every kid in America has grown up with not to mention the base of most popular music especially blues is based on a 2/2 or 2/4 time signature. Your little hot coders may have figured that mathematically a 4/4 signature can be adapted. FYI: Nope. And that’s why dearest Apple you have GOT TO RETURN TO USING PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE ARTS BACKGROUND as well as the coding chops... or just at least hire UX people over 12 years old. This is such a huge missing basic that I am using it as an example to students in the UX unit of my design and development program. FIX IN NEXT REV PLEASE!!! You have been told about this multiple times. It needs to be moved WAY up on the fix list.

Names. I like to change names around. I use this app to make ringtones. I had a song named x and I changed it to y. I named another song x afterwards, but when I dragged it into garageband it plays song y. Bruh. So I changed the name of the song in iTunes before using it in garageband. Big deal. I change the names of my ringtones around too. I had a ringtone named a in the past. I either deleted it or changed its name into something else. I made another ringtone which I want to call a. “The name is already taken.” T-T-T-WHUH?! No it’s not! Where? I looked around. Don’t see any files named a. I looked online for help. Google thinks I’m trying to start a band but my band’s name is taken. I’m not trying to start a band I’m just trying to makes ringtones and name them after tarot cards! Why is it that making ringtones is so tedious with apple anyways?! Just make it so we can make songs from ‘Music’ into ringtones! Then I wouldn’t be here complaining about garageband which I wouldn’t normally use in the first place! If naming wasn’t a problem I’d give this app anything but a 1, but for some reason naming IS a problem! Now what do I name my files after? Organs in the human body??? I got a 3 in ap bio which wasn’t good enough to transfer credits for college! Why is naming files of all things what I have a problem with???

Dear Apple:. I love this app so much. I am not a professional music designer and I would be lying if I said I was, so this app works great for my intents and purposes, but I think there are a few missing features that could very well revolutionize GarageBand music designing: 1. Exporting iPad/I OS GarageBand files to Music. PLEASE PRIORITIZE THIS FEATURE This is already a thing on OSX (MacOS), but I would like to be able to export my GarageBand files to Music without many disappointing attempts at back doors and bypasses. 2. Add pitch correction for ALL blue audio samples/recordings. One of the problems is that if I record audio, then I can use Settings -> Follow Tempo & Pitch -> Semitones +|-, but with imported audio (not just from the sound library) I rarely am able to. 3. Sound pack request. This is a simple request for some new sounds. There are many times when I feel as though the “other” category should be renamed. Often times I find myself attempting to substitute an accordion with the Toy Melodica, or a saxophone with a clarinet and oboe/bassoon. I think the pack(s) should include: Almost the entire family of woodwinds The entire brass family A few more world instruments I hope you read this and will take these into consideration, and I REALLY appreciate the royalty free sounds.

I love the App, but there’s room for improvement. As a blind musician, I want to say, this is by far the best app I’ve tried, and the most accessible. It’s very screen reader friendly, and works very well with apple’s built in screen reader, voiceover. However, there is something that I really think would make the experience better. When I customize the chords, for example, if I want a major 7th chord, when auto play is turned off, it plays the chord just fine, and it sounds exactly like a major 7th chord. When auto play is turned on, however, it only plays a major chord. It does not play the notes to make the major 7th chord. I’ve also noticed this in minor 7th chords. It will just play a regular minor chord in auto play. And it also doesn’t play 9th chords. Pretty much the custom chords have no auto plays that play the notes of the custom chord. Auto play only plays the basic major and minor chords respectively. I would really like to see an update that auto play will make the changes to custom chords. Other than that, very good, and I enjoy using it.

Recording Sections Limit Usefulness. I was told GarageBand is a great free Apple app that’s easy to use to start recording my podcast. Free, easy to use, Apple app, yes, but not that great for podcast recording. When I set out to try out the various features offered like adjustable line-in mic, monitor, and noise gate along with pitch controls and such I was very excited. The letdown came when I was ready for my first take. I wanted to make sure I could "spit my truth" for my full 15 minutes of fame. Now, I’m not a musician so I don’t think in terms of tempo, bars, sections, and time signatures. Unfortunately, GarageBand only allows 26 sections at 8 bars each, and adjusting tempo and time signature was no help at all. After ~4 minutes of recording I realized I had used almost 12 sections which gives me a maximum recording time of 10 minutes. Now I’m sure that’s phenomenal for musicians nailing down a riff, bridge, solo, chorus, or massive vocal track, and I’m not foolish enough to think that this app isn’t specifically designed for musicians. Yet, I still think there’s a slight loss of functionality, and opportunity to expand GarageBand’s reach by not allowing unlimited recording and the addition of a timer or stopwatch for those who are not adept at music’s timing system. Voice actors, storytellers, life coaches, podcasters, etc. could all benefit from the simplicity and functionality of the GarageBand app with a few simple tweaks.

Almost Perfect. Allow me to start by saying that I’ve been using GarageBand for 3+ years and it is beyond comparison. Out of hundreds of apps on the App Store, it is by far the most user friendly I have ever been able to use. As somebody who was teaching themselves how to write music, the interface is almost always very helpful and easy to understand, even if you aren’t very knowledgeable of music in the classical sense. Although not everything about it is completely obvious, it is absolutely worth it to spend time playing around with and discovering new tricks and settings, that aid or streamline the music writing process. That being said, if there is anything about GarageBand that I don’t like, it is the sustain pedal glitch. It’s the only thing I would consider to be a flaw that truly compromises the effectiveness of the app. When adding/deleting/edited the lengths of sustains on music (particularly piano, as that is what I work with most often), I’ve frequently ran into a myriad of recurring issues; sometimes a sustain will still play even after it’s been deleted, or after shortening a sustain pedal it will still play at its original length. All in all, however much I dislike the issues with the usage of the sustain pedal feature, any grievance I have with that is dwarfed by my admiration of this app and my appreciation of the undoubtably talented people who put energy into making music so easy.

I don't get it. GarageBand is good in some ways, not good in others, and completely ridiculous in others. It's good about keeping everything in sync, easy to create tracks, easy to mix down, and simple to use. But some things in GarageBand makes you scratch your head as to what they were thinking. One of the biggest ridiculous things I've found is dealing with segmented tracks. In song creation it's often necessary to create segmented tracks....add a part here....then another part further down the timeline within the same track. It's also beneficial to then be able to merge some of the segments into one so that you're only dealing with one item rather than several. 6his can be done easily with drum tracks (colored yellow) and touch instruments (colored green). However, recorded tracks such as vocals or plugged instruments or anything recorded (colored blue) CANNOT merge segments together. Why? I have no idea and neither does Apple support. There's no logical reason why you can't do this for recorded tracks. All tracks are waveforms. A waveform is a waveform. It doesn't matter how GarageBand categorizes it. It's still just a waveform. Drum loops are waveforms and segments can be merged. Touch instruments are waveforms and segments can be merged. Recorded tracks are waveforms but CANNOT be merged. Completely ridiculous.

Honestly great. I’ve made a dozen songs on Garageband (and a lot more unfinished little sound snippets) , and it’s honestly a great entry-level DAW. It comes with plenty of sound effects already, but Alchemy Synth changed the game for me. As my introduction into the art of turning knobs until something sounds good, GarageBand’s Alchemy Synth boiled it down to the basics——Hundreds of presets that give me a few options to tweak. The limits of what I could change about each preset helped me broaden my effects knowledge rapidly as someone who’d decided that it would be fun to try covering Megalovania in GB a few years ago. At this point, though, I’ve reached a ceiling of GarageBand; The lack of ability to cleanly automate things other than volume (and pan, with some work) has started to put walls on what I can make, so I’ve decided to move over to Cubasis 3. This isn’t to say that GarageBand is bad, though——It did for me more or less what I wanted it to. Seeing how it’s completely free, very easy to use, and packed with features, I’d say that GarageBand is an excellent choice for someone who wants to compose quickly and efficiently without needing to go into higher-level settings. However, for people looking to meddle with more odd things, it may not be the best choice.

My first iPhone 13. This app as well as Home, notes, numbers, HBO Max, and indeed have really soured my first experience with Apple. Those apps have somehow compromised my device, deleted photos, uninstalled multiple apps and created nearly a gigabyte of system settings in two days as well as over 100 analytic reports. I have never used any of them and they constantly try to download so I don’t not connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Disappointing experience. Apple support I had no suggestions my phone keeps telling me there’s a Watch associated with it through my Apple ID but neither Support or a check online PC or through settings show any devices connected. Still get the notification to download the new app to learn how to use my new apple 7 watch. I was looking for a safe haven by moving to som Apple and after having three androids bricked due to a compromise coincidently timed with a divorce and I really wish someone would just take the time to help. Feels just like having Bixby on a Samsung flip Z and getting locked out 3 times a week. 50 mile drive, 3 times to the bear nearest Apple store to have it reset. Som Apple blames the carrier, carrier blamed asid Apple. Just feel like a cog in the wheel, especially as a long time share holder.

Some Suggestions?. Hello! I’ve been a fan of GarageBand for a long time now- back before the Alchemy Synth and the orchestral instruments were added. It’s been great making music, whether it’s covers of songs or my own creations, but I do have a few things to suggest. Key changes and tempo changes. When you’re working on a song, there are times when you realize, “Dang. This needs a cool change!” Here’s what I’m thinking: When you duplicate/add parts or edit them, there’s a switch for key/tempo changes. When you turn them on, the app will ask what key you want to change it to, or the tempo screen will pop up and say, “What tempo will your song be?” or something. 😂 Ukulele. Please. People may‘ve been asking for this already, but please, please add this in! It’s a cute sounding instrument and for those of us who don’t own one but want to use one in our music, who better to ask than the GarageBand team? Otherwise, it’s a great app, and I love using it. I haven’t experienced any bugs so far, and I’m happy I haven’t! Keep doing what you’re doing, guys! ❤️ Peace out! ✌🏻

This is a great game to play and I am one of the people who loves to sing and dance to music l, if you have a dream to become a musician or a singer GarageBand can help you to try all kinds of instruments and if you want to be a singer you can create a beat to sing to and before you know it your dream will come true so give GarageBand a try and for fill your dreams. When I’m older I want to be a singer and a write my own songs GarageBand has helped me to stay confident and I am actually working on a new song right now and I have loads of fun making the music 😃 Even if you don’t like music you will feel like you are the spotlight and keep it up and you will be the spotlight. Thank you.😃

More automation. (And other stuff). It’s almost sad that the all mighty lord Garage Band only has volume automation. I mean there are so many apps out there that are puny compared to Garage Band and still have all ten types of automation. Well, I think there are ten. Anyway, Garage Band needs this or I will lose my sanitttstyyujnbghj, oygxsyhddhhghgfgi. All of this aside, I absolutely LOVE GarageBand because there are SO many things that you can do with it. I’m a PsyTrance producer and I use this app all the time, and I have one last request: There should be a “Button that you can’t press” that shows the length of the song (in time units). And randomly when I’m working on a song the app “exits itself” (for lack of a better term) and when I enter it again all of my progress from the last time I entered the song is suddenly gone. Also none of the other reviews have gotten developers responses. Stop being lazy.

This app is great! I have made so many songs using it!. One suggestion is maybe add some more, make it a bit more versatile with instruments and tones. Maybe a Stratocaster, a telecaster, and a Rickenbacker guitar, and rick’ bass too. Maybe also a musicman stingray bass. More classic guitar and basses, I know there is already a few classics there. There is pick bass and muted bass, maybe add a Slap bass? Also some more effects for the guitars would be cool, like drive, flange, chorus, maybe even autowah, and be able to change speed and depth of the effects? Just a few things that would be really cool to add. Thanks this is a great app! 👍🏼👍🏼

Stop complaining. This is a user friendly app even though it takes a while to get the right tune if you’re making like song or something it has fine quality and bugs have been fixed I think they did a good job on this app and yet everyone is whining because they decide to spend hours on something that’s their choice so stop complaining because you do something that takes a while. This app is amazing and I would be lying if I said otherwise download it if you want but it’s a amazing app. And no I was not set up to say this.

Amazing. I love this finally an app that actually has good programming and has really good music styles and different ways to do you use it and record your own voice very good recording programming as well only problem I have was with this before was that I had to pay for it which is really annoying because it's been the best apps but it doesn't really have a fair price on a But now I love it because it's free for those who love to create music like me

GarageBand review, great audio software, but room for improvement. I recently started using GarageBand to record my voice for podcasting, and while I've been enjoying the software overall, I've noticed a couple of issues that I wish could be improved. Firstly, I've found it difficult to get to the end of a recording quickly without having to fast forward through the entire track. It would be great if there was a quicker way to get to the end of a recording, such as a skip button or a way to set markers to navigate to specific points in the track. Secondly, when I try to add a track to the end of an existing recording, I've noticed that GarageBand doesn't always place the new track at the very end. This can be frustrating when I'm trying to keep my recordings organized and in a specific order. Overall, I think GarageBand is a great software for recording and editing audio, but these small issues have been a bit of a hindrance to my workflow. I hope Apple can consider these suggestions for future updates. Sincerely, James

IT WONT WORK ANYMORE!!. This is a really good app and i loved to play music on it, but I stoped for a year and felt like playing it again. But sadly all a sudden it won’t let me play any tracks except live loop and that’s good and all..BUT I really want to play the drums but when I go on it, it will only come up with a video recorder and no drums to play or anything to record it? Why I can’t find out if I did something wrong or not.. did I do something? I or so tried to delete the app and redownload it but it’s still the same it didn’t fix it? I or so tried taping on the help button BUT THAT DID NOTHING TOO!!? Why, can someone please help me find out what to do? I really like the app but I really want to play on the instruments. So if u can please fix it or help me find out what to do. Thank u

App is great, but needs to add some things. This app is a great way for beginners to get into beat making/producing, however It would be nice if you could add some sort of thing to change tempo or have different tempos in one song (Eg. 110bpm-125 bpm-100bpm etc). I just recon having a feature like this in this app would be amazing for people to let out all the creativity and make a good song while having fun. Having this ability to change tempo mid song allows people to experiment and not just have 1 type of temp throughout the whole song. I find it quite absurd how you have this feature for the mac but not on IOS/IPhones/IPads. Also, another thing I would love in this app is for it to have more 808 basses, more instruments to sample and just basically expand and add more options and to just do as much as you want in a song. I hope you read this and choose to make a couple of slight changes to let people have more fun and to let out all the creativity like I said before. Thank you for this great app, however there is always room for improvement.

Very user unfriendly. Perhaps if you’re using this app everyday and you get to know the huge and illogical workings of this dog’s breakfast called garage band it can be really great, but it is NOT for the casual user. Even the most seemingly simple of editing a short sound file will cost you hours of your life as you navigate the poor display and seek help through the app it’s self only to still have to resort to search for answers elsewhere on the net. And it’s just so counter intuitive! For example, if you wanna duplicate a track you’ve already painstakingly edited, after some exploration you will open a window and find the option to ‘duplicate track’. Now, am I crazy for thinking it could be this easy? Yep! Turns out ‘duplicate track’ does not duplicate the track at all but merely opens a whole new track with NOTHING ON IT but has the same ‘settings’ as the track you want to duplicate. This is not your cut/drag/paste easy to use app. It is a quagmire that should be avoided at all costs unless you are a qualified sound engineer.

It’s very good for a free app. Yeah, this is very good for a free app, it has allowed me to make like proper songs and beats. A few things though. 1. There are just so many instruments you have to sift through to find the one you want, even if you know the name of it, but not it’s sub sub categories. It would be better if you could just search up the instrument you’re looking for. 2. There’s a HEAVY 80s funk and edm biase. Most of the stuff is that only, and there’s only like 50-60 loops for hip hop, and 100s of 80s funk loops and stuff. 3. The guitar sounds are trash add more please. 4. It would be so cool if you could change the speed in the middle of the song that would be maaad for like beat switches and stuff. Overall, VERY good app to get you started making some bangers.

Please Add Scale Creation/Customisation. Please add the ability to custom-create your own scales by selecting which if the 12 notes you want to include. Please also add the ability to tune each note to microtonal values between -150 cents and +150 cents, to the nearest cent. The small selection of scales currently available limits usability and potential for exploration, given the touchscreen interface and my fat fingers. And it's a real shame, because every other aspect of the app is perfect, and if this one thing were added, it would easily be my favourite DAW on any platform.

Needs thing desperately. This is a great app in all but atm the basic piano is this random one that that is set to default instead of the grand piano. If I play with more than two fingered it undos me changing the piano putting it back to the random piano. Also it does not handle temp changes, if I’m recording something faster it automatically goes and puts into this trash swing type thing it is so annoying and can be frustrating. Other than that garage band is great, please fix theese they are driving me and my mates nuts. Thanks

Ok?. Ok… essentially he has a good job on his own but he is so proud of you so he can get you all his own stuff he has a good idea of how you are now with his dad is now in his life he has to do so he can get you all the time he is so good and he has a good relationship so he has his heart to heart and heart heart and he has a heart heart so I can see him again so much more and I like his words and I don’t have to be a pain and I can do that I don’t have a good feeling so I can do that and he is not going on this but I think I have a heart attack on him so he is not a pain but I think he’s good he has to be a pain and I think he’s good he has a heart to learn so I can do that I don’t have a pain and I can get it

EXCELLENT APP!. My dad showed me this app a few years ago and I loved it! (Forgot to do a review though.) If you are a great singer seeking to get all songs out of your head, this is the perfect app to choose! Anyways, a really good app takes a lot of time to install! Everybody should have GarageBand. Firstly, it has tons of instruments. Secondly, you can get songs out of your head like really quickly. Lastly, its great for singers during quarantine (COVID-19) but still great. That’s my review! Bye! Hope you guys enjoy GarageBand too!

Usually good, but am having some trouble. I used this app a lot with school, but having recently downloaded it I am no longer able to use the app. It opens fine, but when I try to use it, nothing comes up. I have tried using all the different instruments, but none of them seem to work. I also tried to delete and re-download the app but the same thing happen. It’s usually such a good app and I’ve never had trouble with it before.

Quick, easy, intuitive recording. Having used professional recording software like Cuba’s, Protools and StudioOne, I think GarageBand is an excellent entry to recording with many of the most useful features of those more complex programs but without the hassle. For me the only missing feature is midi export which is a bit frustrating. If it was added as a feature, this make GB the #1 App for demo creation, allowing quick and portable writing, recording and arranging of new material which could later be easily exported to professional DAWS if the tracks were worthy of the full recording process. I see huge benefits in this one small addition. The midi functionality is already there, midi tracks can be created and edited... we just need to be able to export them to a universal file format.

Great app for a little fun.. I have a lot of fun during garage band, you can make some sick tracks sometimes, but it is a bit hard to navigate, first you trying to find lets say heavy metal, but you accidentally click something and don’t know how to go back to the page you were on, that’s what happened to me. Actually a great game overall and I have learnt how to switch from screen to screen more easily, just was saying how new downloaders might not be able to navigate this quickly, that’s all.

Amazing. The best DAW ( digital audio workstation) on the planet! It’s awesome! There is a lot it does not do compared to other industry leaders like Avid (Protools) Sony (Soundforge) Adobe (Audition) propellorheads, fruity loops, etc etc which are all amazing too! GarageBand is built into Apple devices its handoffable in pieces, parts or as whole songs and soundtracks it easily interfaces with modern studio equipment for mastering by audio engineers etc etc 6 out of 5 stars! Often the best audio solutions come from the simplest of sources and GarageBand allows you to capture sound and manipulate it in a trillion different ways :D best wishes your on the right path downloading this!

Time-saving. I think GarageBand is quite an interesting app as it has many different sounds you can try out, BUT extra sound packs cost money which I think is unreasonable as SCHOOLKIDS use this app. Everything should be free, because even if the GarageBand makers don’t make money, this app is for learning, not to make money. I think this app should be more towards learning than making money, because then you’re encouraging more kids to have a passion for music, even if they don’t have a musical instrument, or a talent for it. Many a day I have been on GarageBand because I don’t have anything else to do, perfecting my songs, and just having fun with different types of sounds. I think this really is a good app, but it could be better, without the price tags.

Terrible App for Ringtone/Text tones. So I just wanted to make a ringtone and I was told by may people that this was the best app. So I followed tutorials and everything but it didn’t work. I made the ringtone I wanted into videos, audio files you name it!!! It wouldn’t let me do anything. If you’re a casual user or just want a ringtone like me I DO NOT recommend. It’s too confusing and hard to use, unless you’re an everyday user then go for it. I’ve tried other apps and they work a lot more effectively so please try something else and DO NOT download this app. I am not satisfied with the app. Sorry Apple.

Must add audio interface selection capability for layering acoustic instruments with built-in mics. On iPad Pro 2020 when using wired headphones via USB-C to 3.2mm converter the ‘studio-quality’ microphones cease to work on the iPad. I am aware that with a dedicated audio interface this can be worked around, however for quick recording of ideas/recording jam sessions etc. being able to choose use built-in microphone and wired headphones simultaneously is a must. Bluetooth headphones etc are unusable when layering acoustic or live instruments/vocals due to latency. So rather than have to take around additional interfaces/mics when recording ideas, demos, this functionality really has to be included to maker this program worth while. It seems like a very basic thing to have included, and renders the iPad more or less useless for recording/layering acoustic instruments. If there is a work around for iOS on iPad Pro, please let me know and I will change the review. This should be an easy fix for the next update...

Love GarageBand App for iPad. GarageBand is a really impressive app, love it, gave it all the stars, love using it. Apple Podcasts App for iPad used to be a perfect app too, but since the latest updates - they made the App very hard to manage - it’s now hard to see what you have downloaded and what you have not downloaded, and now all round more different to use the Apple Podcast App. Also I really hate the way the latest version of iTunes 12.7 for Mac, takes away your ability to manage your iPhone and iPad Apps on your Mac using iTunes - I had to go back to iTunes 12.6 for Mac, and that was a difficult task.

Things I would add/change.... GarageBand for ios is a great app for creating music on ios however here are a few important additions/changes: Better Guitar sounds, More Mastering options, More routing capabilities, waveform editing!, odd time signatures like 5/4 and 7/8, more options for playing samples like sample pads, grouping tracks, ability to customize the individual sounds in the drum rack/beat sequencer and drum pads, complete overhaul to the virtual effects that has a better GUI and more routing options with the instruments to the effects units. Those are the main things I would add, I know it’s a long list of hopes and dreams but hopefully one day the designers can implement at least a few of these, to summarise there needs to be more customisation and versatility.

Great App, but there’s one thing…. This App is great for creating music, especially beats and Hip-Hop Related Music. There is one thing that I think would really help the app. A more specific Tempo. Instead of just having 100, 101, 102, etc; there should be a more specific Tempo with decimals, such as 100.1, 100.2, 100.3, etc. This really helps with looping samples, chopping up samples to their exact BPM (especially hard when the instruments in the sample are not quantized) and more. I really hope you can add this feature, it id the only thing Garageband Mobile is missing.

Great but a few things missing. It's a great app to make quick short tracks or even full tracks in some extensive detail but it does lack a few key elements that could make things sound much better: 1. When placing notes in the piano roll, you can place plain notes but it'd be great if you were able to place down notes as slide notes which would really add some complexity into the songs 2. When you go into the song settings and change the key, it only allows you to go along the scale above C major. It would be much better if there were also the option to go along the scale below it so we won't have to go to each individual track and change each semitone or octave 3. Garage band allows for volume automation within the song which offers a bit more freedom in the sense of dynamics that can be incorporated, however it would be much better if you could also automate effects within the actual instruments such as the cutoff, attack, decay, release etc. to allow for smooth transitions between different elements and sections of the song Overall this is a very easy app to use and has a lot of tools to make good-sounding songs. It’s allowed me to create tracks that I’ve included in my portfolio when applying for a music production course at my current uni, although I think this app still has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing what gets added next

Garage band and my review. Hey! So I’ve been using garage band since 2016 and honestly it’s getting old now. It still works as a amazing app BUT it’s getting old, clunky and honestly there’s nothing ever new. It would be better if you changed the layout, the instruments and etc; to make it more up to date. I cannot seem to continue making music on here as my motivation for something that doesn’t have much new stuff is really hard. Make it like fl studio or BandLab cause they have some stuff that’s easier, more fun and is wayyy easier to make music. BUT STILL the app is 100% amazing for new comers on here, everything is decent with no subscription which is a huge plus and please don’t be put off by my review, it’s still worth it all the time but as a long time user I do have a few complaints that’s all.

Great app but one thing.... I think the entirety of the app is great, the different drums/machines, synths/pianos, guitar, basses and every other instrument. The way you can quantise different instruments and change things like reverb and delay. There is one thing though, I think it would be good if you could transpose/down tune/up tune the guitars, basses, orchestra and drum kits. I think if this was added, it could add a lot more to the already packed game/app. Other than that, I think it is a great app to have fun on.

Ridiculously hard to navigate. This app consistently frustrates me with its lack of user friendliness. Everything about it seems to be designed for maximum irritation. Buttons are never in the same place. You can never access or exit whatever corner of the app you’ve found yourself in. You can’t cut and paste previously existing soundtracks into new projects. Whenever you accidentally select the “drummers” you find yourself sucked into the black hole of “how tf do I get back to normal drums?!”. When you do actually exit this, it’s usually by randomly tapping all over the screen and hoping for the best. And the next time it happens you’re left as clueless as before. Please, for the sake of your users make this app less of a labyrinth.

Please add vocal editing!!!. I’ve noticed that you can ‘edit’ an instrumental track that you’ve already recorded and it will take you into this vertical piano where you edit the notes, and i would absolutely love if you could do that for vocal tracks as well; so basically I’m asking for pitch correction/ auto tune. I know that the app already has ‘extreme tuning’ in the mics section but it still doesn’t give people much control over how the notes in their vocal track sound, it just makes them sound like robots with no direction. Please add better auto tune

If I could give it no stars I would give it no stars. I had this app for a short while and quite enjoyed it there are a few mistakes well 1 million mistakes but it was relatively good for a free app When I heard that you could put music on iTunes from GarageBand I was ecstatic because I love singing I went to the voice recorder and found out that it only was 15 seconds long i was very angry anyway I didn’t play the app for a while and then when I decided to give it another shot because a friend is here they made the recording time longer I went onto it only to find that I couldn’t do anything I could open the app but I couldn’t touch anything after I got out of the app I noticed that the App was gone I went to rebuy it but it won’t let me. I am very disappointed it would hurt more comes from better versions of GarageBand I hi spectating to this app and every single bit of the app failed. I expect more from you Apple

Great for serious home musicians / song writers. Really is a writing, recording, editing and sharing tool for beginners to pros. (And everywhere in between.) It can be challenging to master it and it takes some patience to learn. Immensely powerful and when used properly gives very professional results. Just don’t think it’s going to be magic in a box. You have to take it seriously and learn to use it properly.

Great app. I have had a few on and offs with this app but pleased to say the good way out balances the bad. The app is easy to use and using the Irig I have found that a few of the amps have an amazing tone. I use this app to record songs I write. My songs are mostly rock and blues but lately I have been experimenting with a nice smooth blues funk track and this app really needs a 5 string bass, please it would be so good to have the option of not only choosing the bass you want to use but then have the option of 4 or 5 strings.

APP DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!. Don’t worry, I’m not passive-aggressive like some of the other people here… he he… I’ve been using this app for years, all through primary school and am still using it through high school as well, at school and at home. I do have some things I want to say, though: WE NEED MORE MUSIC GENRES!!! I would also love more loops as well. I myself love punk rock and chillhop ( a blend of jazz, hip-hop and Lofi)… I know, they are very different things, ha ha… but I would love to see more music genres like that so I can create songs inspired by my favourite artists. About the loops, more guitar loops would be great, as well as some ukulele ones!! I think that’s all, really. If you developers get round to reading this, well… great! Amazing!! I really hope to see more genres and loops in the future!!!

Good but please add or improve these features. I’ve used GarageBand for more than 5 years. I’ve used it with the out of the box instruments and effects and I’ve used it with lots of 3rd party instruments and audio units. It’s good. But of course it doesn’t compare to professional DAWs. But I use it because it’s very handy when I want to quickly come up with something. It could easily be much much better without competing with those professional DAWs. Apple. Please improve the following in your next update. 1) fine and variable pitch control matching a preceding midi pattern or au track or wave pattern or automation. 2) fine and variable speed control with automation or non fixed scroll bar rather than limiting it to 1x 1.5x 2x etc. not useful at all. 3) full range of orchestral instruments with finer control on each to produce full range of orchestral sounds. There’s still too many missing and too limited to be of real use. 4) include positional sound control (full and fine 360) along with other effects to create immersive experience. 5) better migration of IOS version with MacOS version. In particular a way to migrate the sounds or AUs to the macOS version or LogicPro. It’s kinda useless if I come up with something using IOS and then have to spend twice as much to get into the Mac which doesn’t have the AUs. Perhaps an export from iOS to other formats on other platforms? Thanks a billion djb (Melbourne Australia)

Hard to use. Literally I just got this app thinking I could easily get music on my device and set them up as my personal ringtone. But instead I am stuck with boring ringtones that came with phone. Navigating the app itself was a chore. Couldn’t figure anything out for myself as it was hard to navigate. Took a google search on my laptop to figure out how to use it. Even youtubers weren’t of any help. Can you teach users to use it maybe when they first get the app please?

Not working to new system update. I have bought the full version of this app and been using it and did enjoyed as it was really good. But when the general update came and the system hs been updated, the system said have to uninstall the app, and can install again after the update. So i did what the system said prior to update. However, after the update, the garage band is not compatible to my ipad anymore.... What will I do with it... Its been functioning well before the update, but now, i cannot use it anymore... Pls help.. Thank you.

The best of the best. Garage band is so so so fun I love creating music on it it’s so cool that I even use it in school. I love creating music on my guitar at home so it’s really cool to be able to create sick beats to go with songs I write at home then record me playing and singing. Garage band is full of amazing features like five different types of guitars not including bass guitars lots of cool and different sounds when doing string and so much more. Garage band should be rated best app in the world it’s my favourite and I think everyone who can afford a device that garage band works on should get the app.

Wow. Just wow. I am here to say that this is one of the best apps I have. I use the keyboard lots and love making songs with audio recorder. I made this weird hot dog one which I made remixes of for some reason. 😂 I even use this at school in music to make assessment pieces. The only thing I would change is add some more instruments. I personally play clarinet and would love to have that included somehow. Maybe you hold down the holes and then press a button to blow and hold it to keep blowing. A flute and trumpet would be amazing as well! There is no adds in this either! I have not come across any glitches and my experience with this game has been superb! Thanks for this marvellous game! 😀 Piggycorn Sparkle 🥳🤩

Great game needs more stuff. One if my most favourite games on the app store. Great job Apple. I play it every day and discovered something: the ability to plug in your guitar is limited due to having to buy Irig which is a pain. With all the effects on the choice to plug your guitar in these effects are awesome but i have never got to try them. When you get into smart guitar or tho play notes i wish you could chiose those effects for the guitar plugger like auto wah which id love to try. And also maybe try and put in more types if guitars and basses and mostly drums Please takes these questions and conplaints into consideration by the way best game EVER

Do people even read these lol? I know I do.. Perfect really, but could you please make a limitless amount of layers? Some songs are left unfinished when I reach that 13 mark. (At least I think it’s 13). Also, maybe more orchestral loops? More fills and solos and such. So loop-tracks don’t sound so repetitive. Thanks. Just to say I’m seriously enjoying this app. I don’t have a MacBook. And instead an Acer and forgot about the IOS thing. Wanted to try it out on a computer.

Recording mixes with DJay Pro. Not sure when this feature was updated for recording. Now that DJay Pro is huge resource for DJ’s that love the app. It would be great if you can include Djay Pro in Garage band on iPad or iPhone as a selectable source for input like Djay 2 still is, surprisingly. So Dj’s can record mixes live, or create mixtapes with both of these apps instead of recording it to another out source like Ableton or other software. I feel this would be a seemless process for DJ’s that would like to upload their work to Sound cloud or Mixcloud, whith out leaving the iOS realm. Hence there are a lot that are moving towards the mobility of DJ’n using iOS without having to use a laptop.

Can’t move on the screen the samples. I’mHonestly going to smash my phone because of this app. At first it’s easy to pick up how to use and what the controls are. But moving Parts of compositions you create around is unnecessarily difficult when the task should be so simple and it’s extremely frustrating to the point where I’m gonna smash my phone against the wall because of this app. I don’t recommend this app for anybody who is an artist who actually wants to like make good use of their time and make music because in this app you end up wasting your time on the most mindless of tasks that this app needs to improve . Yo can’t even drag things around the screen sufficiently. Total flaw .

So many bugs and glitches that need to be fixed. Decent budget music program, however there are so many bugs that make it so frustrating to use. There is the issue where it takes 2 minutes to do something called "optimising playback" every 10 minutes, on top of it loading when you open a song, and it does this every time you press play as well, albeit for a shorter time. There’s also the issue where certain tracks randomly stop playing individually even when turned on. And also, there’s the crashing issue, and of course it doesn’t save your work either. The very recent update seems to have added a few new sounds and made some (quite unecessary) minor UI changes while failing to address any of these problems. I've been using it for a while and I’d say it’s at it's worst that it’s ever been in terms of these glitches. Please fix this!

So Addictive, but…. I love GarageBand, and I’ve been using this app since I was probably 3 years old so I’m very familiar with it but that doesn’t mean it’s the best app, it could improve and here’s why… 1. More Instruments. Now this is quite an obvious one but GarageBand is lacking a lot of instruments and its even lacking types of instruments for example there are only 5 types of different guitars and there not great. The only exception is the keyboards and drums because there are heaps of those instruments. I would like more strings, bases, guitars, banjos, special world music drums, mandolins and so much more. 2. The Sound Library. You think the sound library is amazing and has the answers to all your instrument problems but no, it’s just for the Live Loops. It’s fake, it sounds bad and it has no good music in it. There’s not much else I can say now but don’t use this. 3. And finally, Amplifiers. I don’t no why they added this because it’s pretty useless and hard to use. It doesn’t even work as a good amplifier so don’t use it. You waist a lot of time trying to work it out so just don’t bother. There is so much more that I could tell you but it would go on forever. Your probably thinking, why would give this a 4 star rating if I have complained so much, well, I love GarageBand and there is so much amazing music you can make so definitely bye GarageBand because you won’t regret it.

It takes up too much space on my ipad. I need this app for music class at school but it says no space left so i started deleting things. In the end I ended up deleting 3 apps and 200 photos and it still said there is still no space left to download garage band. I mean i could download other apps but not this one because it needed too much space. I do not ant to keep deleting apps just to get garage band. Can u please improve it by making it not take up too much space. Thanks. Other than that I’ve tried it before and its a pretty good app

The only thing I would want to add to GarageBand. It’s lovely having GarageBand, lots of loops and instruments. Who could not love it? it’s a great pleasure to have GarageBand, because it has lots of apple loops, drummer loops and even software instrument loops. it could even be the key to music. nothing can go down, except for the fact that we can’t make our own Sound packs with new Apple loops, drummer loops or even software instrument loops. other than that GarageBand is awesome.

Worked for a little while. Ive been using garageband on my Phone and Laptop and i then downloaded it onto my iPad. It worked for about a week, now when i try to open any sound pack, it comes up saying that all the plug-ins are missing. When i first started, it didn’t ask for all of this, but now it says i have to download all these audio units, and when i tried to search it up, nothing useful came up. please do something about this, or guide as to what has changed from about a week ago.

NEEDS MIDI FILE TRANSFERRING CAPABILTY. I’m a bit of the fan of ios GarageBand just due to its on hand use whenever an idea pops into my head. Just a few things need to be fixed... 1). That stupid optimising issue where it optimises mid use. 2). We need folders back!!! 3). All modern DAWs are able to transfer the project through midi files, a massive issue and difference with iOS, it would be dope if GarageBand could import and export midi files. 4). Proper easy accessible sidechaining, just because it’s a very important part of music, and currently sidechaining on iOS is complicated af. Cheers apple..good luck

Thing I ❤️GarageBand. It’s so much fun you can make up cool funny songs and make a silly voice over it it’s very interesting 🧐 and your kids could just have fun with it and make songs for their games it’s so much fun but the storage is a lot and sometimes it doesn’t allow you to record it that’s what happens to me and now I have to download it make a new song and set up everything again so it a tie!

No support for old IOS versions.. I’ve used this app before and it’s really good, the only problem is that now IOS 13 has been released, I can no longer download the app as IOS 13 is not available for download on my iPad. Another issue I have with this app is that every few minutes or so the app decides to optimise the performance of my project which can get extremely frustrating! Please do something about this, such as adding a setting for automatic performance optimisation. I’m sorry to leave such a negative review on such a great app, but you need to fix this 😕

Make the older version compatible for iOS 12. This was my favourite app, but I can’t use it anymore since I don’t have iOS 13. Can you please make the older version compatible for iOS 12?

GarageBand won't download. Yes, GarageBand has some very useful features, but it won't downloaded. I started the download process over 15 hours ago and the app has only downloaded 25%. My wifi has full bars and I have lots if mobile data left, so I know this issue is with the app.

Doesn’t work. None of the instruments show up and it won’t let me record live audio. I’ve watched 3 tutorials and followed them exactly but there is no response. Waste of time and effort.

Love It!. The only thing this app needs more versatility. Apple needs to focus on any more acoustic instruments to their software, so their can be an immense amount of genres and sounds to really spice up your tunes. Every time they come out with a new update, it’s exciting, but nowadays the updates are a little more anti-climactic. I would love to see the orchestral side of instruments be developed more, as I am yearning for a harp. Also, the dynamics for the acoustic Instruments need more to them, so it adds realism and quality to whatever music you’re making. Such as the hard rock guitar; it doesn’t have the right sounds to make upbeat battle music and rock music. There are also many glitches involved in this app! But overall it is definitely a big start for someone who wants to step into the world of composing and songwriting.

So dumb. Can you make it so iOS 12 CAN USE IT AS WELL

Please add the ability to change the pitch of inserted audio files. It gets really annoying to have to change the pitch outside of the app and reconvert it. I like this app, but this feature would make me love it.

No. I keep trying to download it and it won’t let me I deleted all of my photos and it won’t let me I deleted a bunch of apps and it still won’t let me then I tried to download a different app and it worked like nothing

Please add option to export as “notification sound”. Due to iOS 17 update, custom ringtones made in the Garage Band app can’t be used as notification sounds. The application’s option to export as a ringtone no longer allows you to create your own pwn notification sounds. Please update Garage Band to enable export as notification sound option. Thank you.

I don’t get it. I had this app a few months ago and this sound like another comment but now it won’t load I join it kicks me out bcs it’s not done it’s been loading for hours does anyone else have this problem?

Jay. It’s not showing me everything and it’s not allowing me to use certain files even though their audio everyone else can select music and I can it doesn’t make no sense

Too long!. I got this app yesterday and it still hasn’t even started to download!

I use it for my ringtone :D. This is an amazing app if you want to make a voicemail, ringtone, alarm, etc. for your iPhone! It’s simple and easy to use

Why won’t my app download. I was just wanting a new ring tone to wake up to but this app just won’t download I’ve done everything I’ve reset my phone wifi and other methods my wifi is working perfectly fine and I am not out of storage I still have 56gp left and I don’t understand...help me it’s been like 10 min

dumb. garageband? more like garbageband!!! my wife left me this morning

Strong points and suggestions for future updates.. I'd say Garageband is a very good DAW for being freeware for buying an Apple product. So I'll mention some good things first: There are SO MANY choices with the new rollout of the Alchemy Piano Synth, I haven't even used them all yet! Not to mention the huge amount of sounds from the old piano. It's very easy to make a bangin' beat! The UI is the best I've seen, very user friendly, anyone could make music on this app. VERY USEFUL EQ AND EFFECTS. EXTREMELY EASY TO SORT PROJECTS. I LOVE THE PRESET VOCAL EFFECTS AND INSTRUMENT EFFECTS. It's so hilarious because, compared to the other $200+ DAWs out there, Garageband can do pretty much the same amount and it's really really REALLY cheap. You can make high quality music, which is why some music artists use it. BUT... There's alot of things in the app that the user has to sort of "deal" with. Here are some I can remember off the top off of my head: When doing live loops, I noticed the loops would freeze visually when looping, and it throws me off track everytime it does it (which is everytime I use the live loops.) It never did it before, and no, I am almost certain it is not because of me. When copy-pasting onto a live loop edit, sometimes the thing you copy and paste disappears when you paste it to another section. I'm pretty sure this happens when you copy-paste actual audio in the edit if I'm not mistaken. Some vocal effects need tweaking, the biggest example being the Vocal Transformer, because it breaks the audio of the vocal making it sound horrible. You should make it easier to sample audio off of iCloud, because the list of the samples keeps expanding with the amounts of things I sample and it can get hard to find the certain audio bit I selected off of iCloud. I also noticed when exporting a song to iCloud, the mix of the song gets messed around with; making some elements sound quieter and less "bangy" as they did in the mix on the iPad. This is extremely frustrating, as I have no idea how this happens, it should stay the same after exporting. Sometimes, when playing a loop during a recording, a note from a synth or other instrument will sound extremely distorted throughout the length of the recording, so I have to totally restart the recording sometimes. I have also noticed using apps like IM1 with Garageband give this "crackle" feedback when looping (I make all songs using the live loops which is a very useful tool) the sound from the Audio Unit. This happens alot when I try to use a virtual piano app with Garageband, so I always have to find a work around. The velocity and quantization of built-in drums are always off and weird when recording, so I always have to turn the velocity up and reassign the quantization of the drums to how I wanted them. Quite recently, some of my GarageBand files on my iPad got corrupted, some files were music I had worked on for days, and they can't be fixed. And I also noticed when mixing a beat together, when you budge the volume of an element the slightest amount, it greatly increases the velocity and volume, this happens alot with sampled elements. FX is useless, because it doesn't work at all; even when I playback the song from the start. It just doesn't work, and it's a shame because FX makes some songs very interesting. There's so much more to be discussed, but I can only remember so much. Maybe I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel for some of the things here, but I think these are some pretty strong points.

Good but..... Sound stopped working but great game otherwise

May I just say.... 3 WORDS... AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME What’s wrong with it? NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING Thanks for reading... 100% RECOMMEND!!!

Hmmmm. Honestly, I had a decent time.

This app doesn’t work anymore. I am on an iPhone 8 and when I try to use any function it just sends me back to the tracks screen with a notification that just says ok. This is really annoying as I just want to use this app but it will not allow me to for no reason

fine. I mean it’s good and stuff BUT I CANT GET IT AGAIN I DELETED 3 APPS AND LOADS OF PHOTOS AND VIDS.

Songs were deleted and app needs auto saving.. All I did was turn my iCloud off and on and lost 60% percent of my songs.

I can’t download it. Boi why?

The app is great, but.... I love this app, don’t get me wrong, but, as an aspiring metal musician, there are some things that would be nice. To start, a build your own drum kit option would be nice. Also, to be able to change from 4/4 timing to 3/4 between bars would be a very helpful addition, along with other timings, like 7/8 or 5/4. It would mean a lot to me and many others if you could add at least one of those features.

Extremely good music maker app 😁😁. As soon as I tried it I made a cool beat, Although you should make it so you can import it to your iTunes so you can listen to it on the go. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get into music making.

Great. Garage band is such a good music creator and let’s you express yourself for no cost and I think that it’s great and perfect

iOS 15.7.9. Pls make it for iOS 15.7.9

Updates killed all of my music. Suddenly my GarageBand decided not to work on my iPad. It wouldn’t update. As a result I’ve lost all of my original music. Thanks. Total crap.

I love it!!. I love it so much and it like a real piano Thank you for this app and I like a lot.

Neato. Please make new guitars with more distortion And add sitars

Its ok. You need like 10 years of experience to do this but its not really good.

Good game. Awesome music anyone will love!

A little more. I will say that this is a great game but I think you should add some more. I think you should add some wind instruments for example the flute. Now I am a musician myself I play piano and sing so I know these instruments. I also think you should add some Percussion instruments. Other than that great game.

Didn’t save. It didn’t save the piece that I was working on for the past 6 days.... All the hard work wasted.

takes up a bunch of space. i wanna download but it keeps saying i have to much storage, i try to delete alot of things but it doesn’t download anymore. >:((

Its good. Its good

Requires iOS 13 or higher???. I just upgraded my iOS to 12.4.2, but can’t install this app because it requires iOS 13 or higher? Makes total sense, Apple.

Bug. Everytime I try to make a ringtone it just deletes it. Please fix this bug.

The worst News ever.. I love this app. Ive used it every day for 5 years. I just found out my iphone 6 will not update to ios 13. So i dont get to make music anymore. Or even hear the songs i made. I can literally barely breathe after finding this out. Farewell Garageband and thanks for all the Jams. I dont want to go back to FL Studio.🤕😢

Can’t download it. Used to support my device but now I can’t get it because I can’t get iOS 13 on my device

Good but.... Great app, highly recommend it, but I had to offload many apps for this (much more than 1.6gb) Still good tho, keep up the work apple!

Terrible file formatting. Whatever you make you won’t be able to save it as an mp3.

Wooo. Pog ngl

This Garage Band App Sucks and it Doesn’t work. This Garage Band App Sucks and it Doesn’t work. Every time I was about to try one of the instruments on the app, it always disappears and shows no recents. This doesn’t make sense. Somehow this app is not easy in my iPhone. 😡

Sk8er101. I LOVE GarageBand, however it takes up so much storage that I find I can’t take photos or videos, or even go on other apps as I have to offload almost ALL my apps to download this. Please make it use less storage but other than that pretty great app.

Good app even if it’s paid. Good app but my dad keep deleting it off my phone

It won’t let me download the older version. I don’t have IOS 14 😕😔 and I can’t download the older version it won’t let me please help

Beats mix up. Whenever I record an electronic drum, it always ends up mixing the beats together and I hate it. But other than that it’s really good.

Lost a good song because of these bugs. I was working on a project for around a month and finally finished it. But then I just lost it all because it crashed from an audio change and apparently has no backups so the project is corrupted and garage band just says “The song could not be opened. Please open the song after updating to the latest garage band” like shut tf up, this is the latest version just say it was corrupted from a crash. I really hate this software it’s a shame it’s gone to waste.

My own voice won't record. I make really heavy trap metal songs and I scream a lot and I don't know if that has anything to do with my voice recordings coming out silent and straight lines and I don't see any sound waves at all and when I try to scream really really loud it can only be heard a little but when I'm finished recording my screaming it can't be heard at all and the line is straight and no sound waves at all

AMAZING. Y o u c a n m a k e y o u r o w n r i n g t o n e

Ech.. You know that feeling you get when you’ve worked on something really hard, and then someone comes over and just ruins it so you have to do it over again? That’s what it’s like using garage band most of the time. I’ll be minding my own business, when out of the blue the app freezes. Not crashes, but freezes. So I have to exit out of the app, go back, and what do you know? All the progress I had been working on my song has vanished! Guess I have to go back and take another 2 hours to remake that song! And this doesn’t happen because my phone has problems (it’s an iPhone seven, it’s never had problems), it’s because the app is just unfinished. It’s hard to use kits in your songs because they’re off-tempo with loops and you can’t change that. And you can’t put two loops from different genres together because again, the tempo is out of place and you can’t fix it. This app is nice and dandy and I REALLY like it at times, but this constant annoyance this app continually brings up is near impossible to tolerate.

The tyranny of sections. This is an outstanding app, don’t get me wrong. It’s loaded with great sounds, simple to use, and makes capturing inspiration easy. I’ve really enjoyed messing with it. My one complaint though, and for me it’s a big one, is that you pretty much have to use their concept of sections. This makes some sense, but I’ve found it very limiting. It makes it more difficult to move from one section of a song to the next while recording, because really you should stop and make another section for that. You could go back and do it later, but it’s a pain. And what if you want to throw a bar of only 3 beats in there, or something like that? You can’t really, because you’re beholden to the song’s time signature, enforced through sections. The solution seems pretty simple, and it looks like it actually used to be in the app - time-based, rather than measure-based, recording. Similar to what GarageBand for the Mac has. That gives you the freedom to play with the structure, length, tempo, whatever, however you want. Sure you give up some stuff, but I feel like that’s a common enough use case to warrant inclusion in the app, just like in the Mac version. Until then, I find it too limiting for actual composition, and more suited to sketching ideas and making loops. TL;DR - bring back time-based recording. Don’t force us to use sections. And keep up the great work! It’s an outstanding app in many ways.

Ideas for iPadOS update. I have noticed that when there is a major update for iOS, GarageBand for iOS is updated as well. Before iPadOS comes out, I do have a few ideas that may be helpful (and I really support) for any major update to GarageBand. A. Please add to the Chillwave loop pack. I love the loops that you guys have there, though there are too little. Also consider adding some bass loops as well. And, of course, new drum kits (preferably electronic) and synthesizers. B. I really do suggest expanding your selection of wind instruments. It would be great if you guys added trombones, tubas, bass clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, etc., because they are just as important as French horn and flute and whatnot. C. Lastly, please make the interface more user-friendly. I can hardly double-tap a loop or instrument to get access to its settings without it taking me to the recording screen. The knobs are also very difficult to adjust. Thanks for your support, the app is wonderful for splicing loops and stuff but I do believe that these suggestions I put out are quite important.

🥇🏆🏅🎖 wonderful app!. Thank you GarageBand developers! It makes zero sense that your app is rating at four stars. This must be people with low music backgrounds that have brought that number down. Is it a perfect app? Absolutely not but this is the best music creation app I’ve seen for iOS and it absolutely deserves five stars. I have one request other than the optimizing that happens if your performance gets a little heavy, long or if you use external instruments- I wish that this could happen less or faster but I also realize that this probably happens due to various limitations ie; phones are not necessary meant for such an app and audio and sequencing is a processor heavy job. But my request is devs- Can you add an ok prompt after pressing the undo button? Sometimes I delete accidentally and it can be an issue as the button may be pressed when doing other things unrelated. Thanks again for making GB great !

Great app but some suggestions. The app is great, and I can use it to write songs with a wide variety of instruments. There are some thing I think could be improved. When working on songs that are longer or more complex, the song "optimizes performance" which can take quite a long time, and happens often on some songs. I also think that the drum sounds could be better, and mote cymbals and drums would be nice. It would also be good if there was a disk scratching instrument, separate from the one in FX, where you could actually have rhythms and control the volume of the turntables. I think that a better metal guitar tone would also be good to have, and notes on that guitar could go lower than they can now. And as always I would like to see more sounds in the keyboards (like a harpsichord) and all of the other instruments, as well as possibly some more instruments. Overall good app but I think these things should be added.

So Close, And Yet So Far (For Professionals, Anyway). GarageBand is awesome, especially for a free app. However, it’s missing a couple critical components: First, it NEEDS FULL MIDI CONTROL. All buttons and parameters need to be MIDI mapable. The iPad is such a great tool for live performance (way more potential possibility than a laptop), but until Apple makes GarageBand a little more hardware-friendly, the laptop will continue to win. Second, the looper is dope but again needs to be MIDI controllable (so you could record and play loops with a MIDI foot pedal for example), have easier access to mute and solo functions per track, and the ability to optionally have audio effects tails continue after a loop or track is muted. Also, a MIDI clock visualizer so you can easily tell what beat you’re on before the first loop starts would be extremely helpful for those who don’t want the audience hearing a metronome click. More loop/pad playback options would be great too. There’s more to be done, but these are a couple key places that need improvement.

Minor Problems. Although it’s a really great app for beginners, there are some really weird problems. Sometimes, when you play the song the audio just went crazy and play this really piercing, loud noise and if you’re turning the volume up for whatever reasons (for example, mixing with headroom), it’s just...CRAZY LOUD. You’ll also have to add features like, curve automations, automations for the FX, more frequently-used samples, automations for multiple knobs on a preset, more slots for plugins. Another problem is when you’re playing chords, sometimes one or two of the notes just mute itself and it sounds incomplete and really thin, there must be some technical issues because I’m sure I didn’t mute the note myself somehow and it’s supposed to play all of the notes at once. I also hate that the FX is applying to all of the instruments, rather than having an FX tab for each of them. And please add a sidechain plugin, it’s such a prominent, important effect in any popular songs recently, and editing automations is tiring.

A mobile app with one major error.. It’s a mobile app and it’s free right? What could u expect. It’s got a wide range of features that u wouldn’t expect to be there like a small eq and compressor in there. It’s got a lot more sounds to pick than they started with and everything is actually alright. I’m a former Berklee student so I think that should say something. Ive made some serious bangers on this, but honestly what’s wrong with this app? STOP THAT “OPTIMIZING” thing. Everytime it “optimizes” it makes me regret not switching to my computer because it destroys the mix permanently. Everything gets rlly messed up from the panning to the eq and not visibly but audibly. It’s awful and it’s destroyed some rlly good proof that this app is actually pretty fire for “beat” makers. Considering this is on an iPhone though I’m not sure if apple intends for this to be used as a serious DAW and most of the time I start just for fun cuz I’m bored and don’t have my computer. But everytime it turns into something actually worth the time or effort and it goes to waste.

Suggestions. Hey. I’m a Loyal GarageBand user. I’ve been making music on GarageBand from the point where this DAW barely had sounds. Even so, I managed to make good music. Over the years I watched this software grow, and I admire the fact that you guys are continuing to grow by adding more sounds and equipment. However. I wish to make suggestions that would make this DAW even dope. Suggested Instruments -Smart Saxophone Purpose: jazzy sounds -steel pans (bass pans, tenor pans, guitar pans) Purpose: produce that Caribbean vibe. -Congas (acoustic format) Suggested equipment -Machine Sampler (something similar to an MPC.) Purpose: accurate sampling. The keyboard sampler is decent, but the sound often time is inaccurate and off beat. My beats sound sloppy every time I wish to change the tempo. - EQ decent for vocals. Purpose: to Make vocals sound professional. I thank you for taking my suggestions into account. Even so, you deserve 5 stars from me. Yours truly.

GarageBand: Amazing!. This app is a magnificent piece of software once you’ve figured out all the tricks and turns. I’ve spent a couple years with this app, and I can say with confidence that it has just as much to offer as any other music/audio software. Considering that all the downloadable sound packs are free, I personally believe it is an extremely good deal for such a detailed array of instruments and samples. Plus, you can use “Audio Unit Extensions” to create clips and audio effects using sounds from other compatible apps. Overall I highly recommend GarageBand to anyone with even the slightest interest in music. I was a good starter for me, and it has been a major benefit for years. I do believe that the inclusion of automated effects would create for a new and much more professional experience (sort of like those in Ableton). Incredible app, highly recommend!

WHAT IS HAPPENING. this was fun UNTIL THE GAME WON’T STOP RECORDING IN THE WRONG PLACES. I was making Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 ZOMBIES theme and I used the piano and edited it so there’s more keys then 2. I was just making 2 beats with 5 notes, and when I got to the third beat something was happening. I pressed record and recorded the final beat, and then it counted down from 4 after I made the beat I edited it. And when I was about to edit it it took over the second beat. And I had to restart the 2nd beat. I did the same exact thing and it over lapped it AGAIN. So I did again and when I was playing so I could edit the keys, the 2nd beat OVER LAPPED THE FIRST BEAT. And I’m not just being stupid where it’s just on the middle of the 2 beats, IT WAS AT THE END OF BOTH. I EVEN CHECKED so now I rate a 3 star because of the problem please respond and fix this problem please. If you can find what messed up with the program.

Awesome functionality - want more capability. This app is a great pocket version of GarageBand for Mac, and I especially love how what you create on here can interface with LogicPro X. My major complaint with this app is that I can’t adjust volume of individual tracks within the context of the track. All you can do is set the volume for the entire track. If I could fade or isolate individual portions of the track, I would have so much more capability! I use this app most often to import and cut music for show numbers, and the ability to cross fade tracks would be huge. Also, it would be super great if the time of the track could be seen as well as the measure numbers. Difficult to know how long a section is! Lastly, could we please make it so that I can share songs DIRECTLY into iTunes right on my phone or iPad instead of putting them in “File Sharing”..? This means you have to plug you phone into your computer and drop it into iTunes from there. I’d love for the entire capability to be onboard. Please make these adjustment and I’d be happy to give this app 5 stars!

Almost There. The app is fantastic. It supplies the right amount of stock sounds with the expansive freedom to change them. I was ultimately surprised how complex yet user friendly GarageBand is. Compared to other DAWs such as Waveform, it’s easy and fantastic for beginners, while still holding features that can appeal to professionals. This is a great starting DAW. My issue here is that it’s feature of using “3rd App Sounds” such as Model D is terrible. I have an iPhone 8 Plus so I’m great when it comes to new software, so i don’t know why it’s hard for my phone to pick up the sound of any 3rd Party Apps. It either starts glitching or breaks up during sound testing, even though it shows that it got the sound. It’s an issue that’s really important since Model D is also a great alternative as a DAW, and partnering it with GarageBand seems like a great duo, but the lack of any form of function is holding it back.

GarageBand For iOS Is Awesome! However, A Few Features Need To Be Added.. I’ve been using GarageBand for iOS to produce my songs for a while, and it’s been absolutely perfect for my needs and workflow. The Alchemy Synth is amazing, and I love how you can customize the presets to your liking. I like the stock piano. While not the best piano out there, it is certainly great for those people who cannot afford a more expensive third party piano plugin. I am constantly amazed by how professional sounding you can get your mix to be even though it is a free, mobile app. I’ve had people say that my songs produced with GarageBand for iOS sound professional, and I love that I can make that kind of song using this amazing, free tool. However, despite how I love this app, there are a few features which I wish were added. For example, automation of effects would be great to have. Despite this, I can still use GarageBand, as it is b amazing tool. Props to Apple, you really did it good, as you guys always do!

Love it but Glitchy at times. I love GB. I use it all the time and it’s a blast showing my newest snippets of songs to my friends at the end of the week. However, there have been a few glitches I’ve run into. The main (and most frustrating) problem was that all the original keyboards had disappeared. Anytime I would try to use Grand Piano, it totally disappeared. I had to delete the app and redone load it. Such a hassle! The next issue is saving. It doesn’t save songs efficiently, and often takes about 5 minutes to save (I’ve always had this problem across all the phone I’ve had. It doesn’t seem like this’ll get solved. My songs are never longer than a minute so I’d assume it’d be faster.) It’s a great app and I wish I used it sooner. It’s also tons of fun playing around with the audio records and makes a great app for music students! If you need to use a piano on the go, GB has got you!

Amazing. I wanted a good music-making app like this for ages! I’m a violin player, and it makes me so happy that the orchestral sounds here are decent. I also love the virtual string instruments, they are very creative and are things I have never seen before. However, it could be improved by adding guidelines on each string (like lines telling me where to tap for a G on the D string and all that. Just the basic notes that a beginner would learn, no naturals, no flats). And it bugs me how the full dynamic of the sound comes a tiny bit later than when I actually tapped. This is a big problem, because it’s MUSIC we’re all making here... please fix this. This app, like all others, was kind of hard to get a grasp of. I mean, when I want to use instruments I do not know how to play, I might use the piano version, but the thing is... I don’t play the piano. This is no big deal though.

A few things you could add. Ok so this is like the greatest music making app and it’s free, as well as the sound packs. Groovebox and noise are also apps I tried and they also have sound packs, a few are free but the rest cost money so I LOVE that all the packs on GarageBand are free. I do also have a few suggestions to add to the app though 1. Alternate tunings for guitar and bass. I think that the presets are fine for guitar and bass but I think that there should be alternate tunings, like drop D, drop C, and standard E flat, as well as standard D tuning. For the last two tunings you can use a vocal transformer to shift it down 1 or 2 semitones but it would be a lot easier to just switch between tunings 2. A woodwind touch instrument Ok so I don’t know what this would look like but I think we need this touch instrument. Maybe instruments like what we have in the keyboard, flute, clarinet, bassoon, and oboe, but we could also add instruments like recorder, Irish whistle, and Dizi. 3. Brass touch instrument So like woodwind we need the instrument in the keyboard, like the French horn, but we only have the, “Brass ensemble” I want touch instruments like, tuba, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, and euphonium. It would kinda look like the strings touch instrument where you can choose what instruments are playing. Well that’s all I can think of for now but if you could add those in, it would make my week!!

How Do I Stop A Stalker From Using this App?. I have this app that I’ve removed from several devices. I’ve changed my Apple ID, been through several phones, computers and other devices. We found stored audio of personal conversations that were recorded remotely from my devices. I can remove it but it remains on the cloud where they continue to use it on many devices to listen to my private conversations as we are in the middle of dissolving companies. Please advise on how I can collect date on the person using ZSH and SSH with apps to remote into my devices to download and record things. They are using several apps, this is one of many that is not being used for its intended purpose. If you know anyone who can help please have them reply here as this behavior of ‘remote controlling’ my life has been terrifying, and I am not sure what to do next. I have contacted the authorities and paid a forensic team and as we extract evidence I need it to stop. I understand they’re doing their best to be sure they have all info possible but in more interested in having my life back.

Good app, needs changes.. I downloaded GarageBand on my laptop and my phone. On my laptop, it took about an hour to download (not including the very long amount of time it took to "download all essential sounds"). On my phone, it took about a half an hour to download. On top of this, it freezes almost every time I use the app. I will be very close to being done with a song, and the app will freeze (not crash). I then have no other choice but to close out the app, and when I open it back up, my progress will be gone. I have seen multiple people's reviews and almost half of them say that the same thing is happening to them. This proves that it is not just my phone, it os the app. Another suggestion from me would be to add key changes and tempo changes. This is definitely possible and I think it could make this app much better. Other than that, this music-making program is highly suggested from me and it works very well. There is just a little bit more work that should've gone into it during the iOS 11 process. 3/5 stars

HeLp. So GarageBand was a wonderful and amazing app to make songs on-simple. It was just a plus sign and all my prior songs and all I had to do was tap that plus button and boom. I can start a new song. Today, I updated the app. I thought it would have bug fixes, maybe a new layout, O K. But I open the app(it says I have 19 notifications) and it says iCloud Drive and Browse and a BRIGHT white screen. It takes me like 5 taps to even GET to my original songs!!! I tried to take advantage of creating new folders and I created one for the songs in a album I’m making, but I have no idea how to get to those with all the weird tags and stuff. I even found old images from my camera roll in there. Like- why update a MUSIC APP for an iCloud Drive??? All I want was to have the original layout again but I tried looking it up how to get back to the older version on my iPhone (6S) and no results. I wish I could create a song without tapping 5 times. Please help, or it will stay 2 stars. :( Oh and B.T.W. I still don’t know what those 19 notifications are-

How I Became A Musician. Hi I’m Gwen and I just wanted to say that I am very happy for GarageBand and how much work you put into this and it helped me a lot to become a musician and here is the story how I became a musician. It all started out with me and my friends walking to school and when we got inside the school our teacher said that tomorrow is career day and I wanted to be a musician but the popular girls (Mia, Avery, Lily and Madison) thought that it was dumb to be a musician and they said that I should be a stay home mom but I didn’t let that into m so I decided that I was still going to be a musician and when I got older (when I turned 20) I got a job and I was a musician. Moral of the story: Don’t Listen To Other People. And that was how I became a musician. Anyways I wanted to say Thank You For Making GarageBand And You Put Your Hard Work Into This App. Thank You for your time. Goodbye!

Almost top notch! But it’s got some little issues... This app is one of the only ways for me to make music currently, but man is it successful! I’ve written and made some great songs on it, so it functions really well! BUT it is missing some great instruments. The one that I think many would want the most (definitely me) is the Accordion. They are also missing things like Bag pipes, Organ (ones from steeples not from old 70’s pianos), Harmonica, some brass instruments like the Saxophone, and some other ones. But they do have a lot of instruments so I’m not pressuring it. The one thing that takes a star away is the drums. MAN I DESPISE THE DRUM SETTINGS. None of my songs have a good beat due to one thing. When I’m recording for drums and I make a mistake, it plays the last attempt with my new one! So I have to work around deleting mistakes every time! Please stop that drum thing! But other then that, this app is finely tuned, pun intended, And can make great songs! Get garage band, worth the time and effort!

Awesome, but are there other genres?. This app has been great! It’s been giving me a variety of sounds that I can use to create my songs. I do have a lot to think about when creating a demo. I do, however, wonder if there’s a specific genre available for my vibe. You see, I’m a huge fan of country music and I would like to record songs that would have a country feel. Something like a bluegrass fiddle, steel guitar, banjo, etc. I was wondering if this app could offer something like that. I know I could use a real banjo, but I would like to have something that is convenient instead of saving a ton of money, spending it so I can plug it into my computer and record one song. If you can please offer something like that on GarageBand, I would be very grateful and I’ll be thanking you when I win the CMA awards 😉

Amazing, but also limiting!. I absolutely love this program! In comparison to others I have used, as a professional musician having used many, this one is simple to use, easy to understand, and allows even the novice to start creating immediately. The downside, however, would be that the sampled instruments are limiting, which most are. Unfortunately everything you create sounds like a similar, re-hashed version of what anyone else has created. Therefore, lacking originality though it may sound like a masterpiece. Finally, a suggestion to make this program amazing would be to allow the ability of importing unlimited sampled instruments, VST effects, and plugins if not already able to do so. In the meantime, though both a positive and negative benefit, it’s a blast of fun, creativity, and well worth the download even for a novice to enjoy the simplicity it allows in creating music that can make anyone sound like a musical genius.

Would be a 5 star on performance but.... Everything on here is very good and clean,, I’m giving you guys only 3 stars because I’ve had this app and been using it a lot more then most people do and in the past year and a half you guys have not loaded any new samples/loops/fx during this whole time!!! Literally,,, I saw you guys load those new guitar sounds and drummer sounds consisting of like 20 new loops total,, not even enough for 1 whole new mixpack,,, it’s very disappointing to myself and many of my friends that you guys haven’t added anything else after u made the app,,, it’s been almost 2 years and nobody wants to re-use and recycle the same 6 or 7 mix packs again and again , (come on now it’s time for some new loops/ /samples/ kits to be put on GarageBand! The ones preloaded with the app are all great in quality and sound very nice,, but it’s time you guys gave us some new material to work with nobody likes the same song on repeat for two years straight.. Thank you for listening Sincerely,

Almost Perfect!. Hi Apple, this is a faithful user of GarageBand and I have a few suggestions, and maybe you could take them into consideration. As I don’t own a Mac book, I work predominantly on my phone. I would like to see more options within the guitar instruments, more options for drums, changing symbols, adding symbols like a china symbol, and complete overhaul? Also, there are apps that are compatible with GarageBand it often crash, or glitch out, one being DrumKnee. There’s a lot of tones for the virtual guitars that could be added. I’m not asking for a direct version of Logic Pro X, because obviously GarageBand is a little watered down, and that’s okay, but I’d like to see a bit more out into this app seeing that the last update was like, months ago while Logic Pro gets updated at least 2-3 weeks or so. To my knowledge. Thanks.

The only good app for music production. this is straight up the best option for anyone wanting to get into music production. each consecutive update keeps bringing more and more: effects like compression and eq, usable amp and pedal simulation, and the whole Alchemy library. if you have an iPhone and want to make music, you have no excuse not to start learning or at least start playing around with samples and loops. One of my favorite things about Logic Pro is it’s large library of proprietary VST’s, samples, and loops. This extends this app as well, making Garageband a great writing tool along with simple production software. there’s so many virtual instruments for beginners to play with, from orchestral instruments and band instruments, to a multitude of synths and electronic drums. of course there’s always room for improvement, but this is the absolute best app for anyone starting out in music production, and even a viable writing tool for songwriters and producers who aren’t beginners to demo their tracks.

Pretty great. Ok so don’t get me wrong, this is a great app! Would I recommend it? Depends. It’s a great app that has different instruments and loops with EDM, jazz, rock, pop, etc. But for me it is pretty great, but kinda repetitive. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great app! But I just would not rate it the best of the best. Every app has it’s good things and bad things. It’s not a sad thing that I rate it a 4/5, because it’s still amazing, and it’s not like I just rated it a one. It has instruments and cool beats to choose from and you can make songs with your own beats made from the instruments or use pre-mad beats. Then, when you save the song it saves into your files. It’s a pretty good app, and sometimes it takes up my phones space 😅, but it’s still a 4/5 for me. I would recommend it more for computer users more than mobile users, but it’s the same rating for both because they are not extreme, but they are still amazing.

Idk. I’m going on my phone to see my phone I don’t have to my computer anymore I’m not using my computer so I’m just going on a phone to see how I am doing I need help you can get do you better I have a couple things to say I’m sorry I’m just going on my computer and I’m not using it I don’t have max I don’t know what I’m gonna be able I can get it done and I’m just going to have a lot more I need fruit I do have to a couple days so you know how much it would help my freind out of the car so you don’t need help with the car so you have a good idea and you have a couple things to go bye I don’t want you to have a problem I’m not just a lot to me I know you don’t have max it out in my car I have a car in your truck I’m just going on the phone I need help I can make you do that I don’t know if sorry for melting your brain cells it’s a good app tho

Great App And Perfect For Music Making. Hello, GarageBand Is A Very Good App. With very great music loops and virtual music instruments. They make creating music very easy on here that other bad music softwares like, FL Studio, esc. The Great Thing about GarageBand is it’s free and FL Studio isn’t if vice viscera I will be writing a review for fl studio right now. When I Just wake up and see a app that stands out of all the other apps that is GarageBand. Nothings wrong about it since it’s one of Apple’s greatest apps. At first glance I thought this app was trash but I downloaded it and I got from 1 star to 100 stars! Everyone who uses a apple device should download this. No matter what version you’re using, it’s still the best app. I downloading this right now while I’m typing this. When there is apps also take up so much storage I know it’s gonna be worth it. This is only MY opinion. Other people could not like it. But this app is good in many ways.

Major app breaking bug. I love GarageBand. It’s where I started making music. But, unfortunately, I’m not able to use it anymore due to a MAJOR bug that disabled me from opening a project regardless of what it is I choose. I can’t choose an instrument to use (amplifier, keyboard, live loops, etc) because every time I do it shows the same screen over and over; blank with just the play button and the other functions on the same line. And I tried opening another project but it does the same thing over and over. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling repeatedly (I’m reinstalling it to email footage to support). Nothing worked at all. I’m a little nervous as to why, and I’m on an iPhone 7. It’s not a general issue with iPhone 7 devices, it just seems to be mine. I’m unsure whether this will get fixed or not, but I hope it does either in the next iOS update or the next GarageBand update as this COULD be a compatibility issue (I’m on iOS 12.1.3). I love GarageBand and I want to use it again, but that bug is preventing me from doing so.

A lot of bugs. I have always enjoyed music making and had thought this app would work well for me. Unfortunately, there are a lot of issues that I am currently facing with the app. Every time I go into the app and try to go to change the instrument, all of a sudden the metronome starts out of nowhere. Following that, I suddenly can’t move around my screen and it makes my voiceover start glitching. Also, if I am trying to click two drums at once, the app won’t let me do that because of my voiceover. Also, I was trying to make a drumbeat for a track I was creating, and all of a sudden all of the drums were muffled and I couldn’t hear them. That is also when I noticed that I couldn’t play two drums at once with my voiceover. I tried to change the drums back to acoustic and then to electronic again, but it wouldn’t let me. Also, I will be trying to follow the beat of the metronome, but then it will skip a beat and it will throw me off and make me off rhythm. Please fix these issues. I’m sure my other complaints are things people have already said, so I won’t bother to say them.

More slots for plug ins PLEASE🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲. Okay hear me out I like GarageBand a lot I just wish we can have more than 5 slots to place plug-ins since most garage band users have a lot of plug-ins myself included because just having that amount isn’t enough for us to experiment with plug-ins to the fullest and having the noise gate , visual eq and compressor taking those spots makes it more difficult since we can only work with limited space due to those taking up those much needed spots to expand upon and make better music maybe if you guys can make extra slots or put the standard 3 plug-ins to the side to make room. Note: I am willing to take one or the other this is just something I would like to see on the app in the near future thank you for taking your time to read this in its entirety and I am open to any feedback 5TARBOY✴️

BEWARE: Deleting projects on older Apple devices, apparently.. I have an older iPhone (6S) and hadn’t used Garage Band in a few months, so, as iOS does, the phone automatically uninstalled the app to save space. When I tapped on the icon to reinstall the app, iOS told me that the latest version requires the a version of iOS that is not compatible with my device and then IMMEDIATELY PROCEEDED TO DELETE THE APP IN ITS ENTIRETY, INCLUDING ALL OF MY PROJECT FILES. When I went into the App Store to manually grab the app, I was THEN given the option of downloading an older version, but now all of my project files are gone, including some I had never gotten around to backing up. Should I have backed them up? Absolutely, but it was something I kept putting off and had never really worried about since every time I’ve had to reinstall prior, my projects were left untouched. What I don’t understand is why it was necessary for iOS or the App itself (whichever is coded to do so) to nuke all stored user files just because the device is not running the current iOS; like my not backing up my files, this, too, seems like a massive oversight.

You need to add more effects. Hey apple I make pretty good music and I love the app. but I have one problem you need to add more drums good high quality like the kick I can find about 2 kicks that I use and one of them is the one in the loop section. But please add more snaps theirs only about 3 snaps that I use and you need to add more snaps and also add SIDE CHAIN!!! Please and add PAN FLUTE!!! and please add GLIDES and theirs only 2 synth that has glide and side chain And also add really good sounding guitars. Also add more soft keys Ik theirs faded keys but we need more than that oh and I can’t sing so I tried to get an acpella (I can’t spell it but you know what I mean) so what I did was recorded a acpella then when I was done it sounded like TRASH DUDE I tried to fixed it but nothing was working so I just left and now I make instrumental music but please add more sounds. I hope you see this but if you do I’d be really happy if you add a tropical house kit I’d probably use that all the time.

Love it. I have a few critiques. I’ve been using GarageBand for about seven years and I love it. The biggest problem right now is that with the new iOS update GarageBand force closes immediately every time. I’ve tried turning off iCloud for it in settings like Apple suggested to no avail. Other than that some things that I would love to see (and others from what I’ve read in the reviews) include: 1. Allowing key and tempo changes in the song. When you click a section one of the options could next to “join, delete, split ex.” Could be key change and tempo change. 2. More user friendly ways to mix and master songs. It CAN be done with the current version, however it does require a plethora of steps to accomplish. Instead of controlling the EQ for each track as a whole at least let us control each section of a track. That would be incredibly helpful. 3. The map for each note being played is INCREDIBLE, I would like to see the same map for vocals in order to fix slightly off pitch vocals without the Auto-Tune sound. 4. More types of guitars and a more realistic sounding acoustic guitar. Overall I love the huge strides that the developers of this app have made over the years from the ever growing sample library for beginners to being able to legitimately write your music in the note grid. I would love to see these in a future update, as well as getting the crashing issue resolved so we can continue using our favorite music production app.

Good overall, but buggy in some areas on occasion. This program has allowed me to make tons of music, and all the recent soundpack updates really make it a more versatile program as a whole. The default synthesizers sound very tacky, but a lot of the downloadable synths are nice. The loop tracks to choose from are great, and GarageBand is even pretty okay for making soundscapes. Once one gets comfortable with the program, diving deeper into reverb and mix and other settings to make a song sound less like it was made on a free iPad program gets easier and the results are pretty great for what this app is. There are some issues though. On synthesizers, occasionally if you play a note the program will hold that note out no matter if you're pressing a key or not, or even on that keyboard screen. This can be fixed by entering and exiting the song but it's annoying. Another thing is the keyboards and pianos, and the sustain pedal. GarageBand has a hard time realizing when you've added the sustain pedal and when you've removed it, and you might often find that if you're composing anything with a piano that pedal can be very finicky and hit-or-miss to manage. Sometimes I'll add pedal on accident, remove or, but GarageBand still plays it back like sustain pedal is on. Those are really my only issues with the program. Overall it's pretty great.

iOS 11 Bug makes GarageBand TAP OUT -R.I.P. Anyone with iOS 11 will NOT be able to use this app until they fix this bullpiss. Absolutely frustrating to say the least. Such a great app, or so I thought because to have not anybody around to protect such an investment must mean it’s not only a low priority concern, it means they have almost no concern for low priority apps. Updates come just like iOS 11 and apps constantly must adjust ect. But for THE company itself to have produced the error without any follow up or even remark of it is just lame. I mean at the end of the day they have the 5$ it seems at this point, I may as well have just thrown away. What is it that that is worth between the clergy and customer if there isn’t that follow up of assurance? Of Insurance! How one day even big companies like apple will rue the day of -Just- when even as far up as they’ve gone can only mean the longer the fall back down to earth back to reality to a day when they may face people at the bottom. We are waiting. Please just fix the app <\3 (1 Star until the app is something anyone on iOS 11 may actually use again.. would give it 0 until so if I could. Other then that it’s an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G app.. or WAS.)

Good, but there’s a few issues.. GarageBand for iOS is genuinely really good for making music. It’s impressive for how small of a system it’s made for (Apple phones and tablets). However. I’ve run into a few issues during my time using it. Months ago, I was messing around with the FX settings just for fun. They didn’t stay on the tracks when I played them back. But the most recent and, for me, most problematic thing is the “automation” option. You’re supposed to be allowed to control the volume and pan of tracks as the song progresses (you can make a track get louder as the song progresses, and then fade out toward the end, or have a track slowly migrate from one ear to the other as the song progresses, for example). However, this just doesn’t work. Getting into automation mode on its own wasn’t an issue. But when I tried to make a new node to start to fade a track out, GarageBand just crashed. Thinking this was a fluke, I tried again. The same thing happened. I tried a few more times, with the same result. I don’t make super technically complicated music, and most of the music I make is done using the desktop version of GarageBand. But when I do make music on mobile, I want to be able to control the automation of the different tracks beyond just using the “fade out” feature that fades out the whole song.

Hard to use but good. It’s not the perfect app, it doesn’t send songs or anything like it implies, and it’s very difficult to figure out. Some features are really annoying, like if you accidentally record over one part of the song, even if you’re not playing anything that recording will still be over another section and therefore that part of the other recording will be gone. Like, gone gone. It’s also a little upsetting how you have to use the same sounds, the same this, the same that...but, other than that, it’s a decent app. If you want to start making music I would recommend this as the beginning of your music career, just to get a feel of what making music is like, and if you just want to goof off and make some cool music, then you can in this. However, I really wanted to send a song I’d made specifically for my dad to him, but I wasn’t able to because it doesn’t send your songs. Maybe once it will, but after that, nope.

Perfect for making music for fun!. I’ve been using the app for about 6 months now and and I’ve come up with some extremely decent music so far, Lamar Azul on SoundCloud ;). And this app has definitely peeked and influenced my interest in music much more than it has been in the past with it being free to use. But sadly I’d have to say that I’ve exhausted everything I possibly can (for the type of music I’m going for) in this app and it is some what frustrating. The FX feature just kind of aggravates me more than anything now that the fact it only effects the entire song, and that you don’t have any separate FX for separate tracks. You definitely have to dig deep in this app to really bring out its potential, but when you do you’re left a little disappointed. Can’t wait to get my laptop and actual software and further my musical career, but thank your Garbageband for helping me start it! Lamar Azul

Solid app but has some odd kinks. I love this app. It’s amazing what you can make on mobile thanks to GB, but there are flaws. Most of these are little bugs. Occasionally the app has crashed on my phone and lost my progress on a song, I’m usually able to regain what I lost but it’s insanely annoying. It would be solved if there was an automatic save button somewhere on the app, rather then relying on automatic saves that can be disturbed. Alongside that the recent updates with the dark mode and stuff is cool, but I hate this redo bar that has randomly appeared. All of a sudden this white bar appears when I’m doing stuff on the keys, with options to redo errors and stuff. This shouldn’t be an issue but it kind of blocks the top of the screen, and is just a hassle due to it’s overdone sensitivity. Other then that it’s a great app with a huge selection of sounds, sampling from the loop library is really enjoyable. I love the additional instruments ranging from guitar to drum machine.

Nice but a bit broken. It’s an amazing app for creating music in all, especially professional sounding music. However, there’s a few app breaking features that ruin the experience, and some that are missing that would be cool to have. The app breaking features is where when you load up a son go you’ve recorded, sometimes it will take forever to load it saying Optimizing Performance, idk what it’s trying to do but every time it’s done it, every thing was basically the same. Another thing is that the app sometimes randomly deletes songs from my files and I can’t ever retrieve them. I’ve actually lost one just a day ago and I worked like 4-5 hours on it. I hope this gets explained and fixed cause I don’t want my time to be wasted by a application glitch that could delete my hard work. Anyway, the features I’d like to be added is more guitar sounds. The ones at the moment sound a bit off and I wish they had a few more to choose from that would fit the genres I’m working in.

Vocals.... I’ve been using GarageBand on my phone for about 4 months now to make music. And it’s all very nice and easy to use and I love it. My only complaint or 2 is the autotune setting. I really wish it was more like the MacBook version and I get that it’s a phone version for a reason but after exploring the app and all the different things you can do on it I just wish there was more stuff for the vocals and different plugins or default stuff to mess with. And the key signature for the track, I think you guys should make it so you can change the key signature for each individual track, because that is one thing I’ve noticed. When you’re singing or trying to get on pitch and then on a different part you want to sound different, when you change the key signature it changes all the tracks, but other than that I really enjoy the app, I think it’s easy to use and everything right there on your phone it’s a nice experience, just needs a little more I think

.If one wants to learn to play multiple instruments then this app is your answer!”. The title Garage Band was misleading for me when I first saw it. I soon realized after using it that most if not all bands started playing in a garage or a basement, at school or somewhere with people who were like minded. This App GarageBand is the best music app that I’ve had the pleasure to use. I will give one critique. When I change instruments or keys the reverb is activated and playing along with some music genre’s reverb doesn’t work out. I’ve made it a habit now to turn it off and also check the transition to 1/4 notes or a different transition. If one wants to learn to play multiple instruments then this app is your answer. And eventually like myself, you’ll find One instrument that you enjoy playing more than all the others.

Good on iOS, Great on a Mac. This app is awesome! I make almost all my songs on it! The only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of GarageBand on Mac. Although GarageBand on iOS is totally great (I’m bragging about it lol), I often use GarageBand on Mac. It has more features that you cannot get on the iOS version. Yet, there are also features on iOS that you cannot find on the Mac, like the Beat Sequencer. I’m just saying the Mac version of GarageBand has a bit more apple loops, instruments and abilities than on iOS. But I only can use GarageBand on Mac when my mom isn’t using her computer. I don’t have my own Mac and I want one. I am typing this from my iPad on an airplane to Wenatchee. Yet, both apps (for iOS and Mac) are super safe, kid-friendly (I’m a kid, did you know that? I bet you didn’t know that. I bet you thought I’m one of those 30-year-old girls who drink wine with their friends every Friday night. Well, I’m a kid, and I don’t have sex) and intuitive.

Amazing! One big suggestion.. Favorite music production app by far, especially the fact that it’s free. I love the Alchemy Synth because before that, there were few presets. The interface is easy. It’s looks nice, and most importantly it sounds great. I remember being so excited because I learned that you can automate the volume in tracks, and I use it all the time and for side chaining. I do however want there to be automation for different effects. Like cutoff, pitch, delay, etc. it would be the greatest thing ever. I think how it would work is you add an effect from the “Plug-ins and EQ” tab. Then there would be a button somewhere on that effect that says “create automation clip” or something. It would be AMAZING if you added this and I think that I would be fully satisfied with GarageBand. I’ve been producing for 2 years (since I was 12) and I have expanded my knowledge of music production. Thanks again for the best mobile DAW!

Was better less then a year ago, and a year ago. Bruh, this app was better a year ago, or even less then a year ago when I last used it. I decided to temporary get this app today to make a few VoiceOver recordings like I used too. Now you all have bars automatically at 8 seconds, may decide not to let me export the entire recording for 30 seconds and instead cut out the recording around 5-20 seconds of the ending of the recording where I find out it was cut off after listening to it, you make the thing now claim I’m making recordings over 30 seconds when exporting them when it’s literally less then 30 seconds I decided to record them, and more 🙄🙄🙄🙄😑😑😑😑😑. This app reminds me of the majority of apps these days; they get worse in some way; if they don’t have more advertisements everywhere then they used too, then they’ll get worse in some other way like this app 😒😒🙄🙄. Thank goodness there’s at least a few or some sane apps left; I try to take advantage of the sane apps while I can, and while it lasts. Technology has pros and cons at the end of the day sigh; too bad NOT ONLY PROS 😑😕🙁☹️😥😔:(

I have a problem. This is a great app, and I use it almost every day. But I have some kind of glitch with my loops. In the past, when I used garage band, full on side chained pad was my favorite loop. On this new device, I forgot the name, but I found it listening to the dubstep thing in live loops. (Is that even what it’s called?) It was different, though. I saw the name and favorited it. But it had a different pitch, tune, and tempo, and caused all the other loops to have this problem as well. No matter how much I try to reset settings, it does not do anything. When I looked in the house live loop set, it reset the tempo (idk if it is exact,) but not the pitch. It changed the tune again. I liked the way they sounded before they were changed. If this is a fixable problem, please fix it, and if I need to fix it, please tell me how. If it isn’t fixable, it’s alright, I love the loops anyway. Please at least respond or look into the problem if possible. Other than that, it’s a great app.

PLEASE add/fix these things. It would make a HUGE difference if these two things could be fixed. I’m working on a project but these things are stopping me from being able to do it. 1. Make it possible to change the key and/or time signature for certain sections in the song, instead of picking one key/time signature that the whole song follows. It would be nice to choose parts of the song to have different key/time signatures. In a lot of pieces, the time signature can change a lot throughout the piece, as well as the key signature. Currently, I must choose one key and time signature to have for the WHOLE piece of music. One way that would make it easy to make this change is to make it possible to change the key/time signatures for a specific section. Then, the changes would be organized. 2. Add more time signatures!!!! This is a simple yet effective change that would also make all the difference. Right now, there are only three options: 3/4, 4/4, and 6/8. While these are the best options, there’s a song I’d like to arrange that is in 5/8 and another one that’s in 12/8. In a music writing app I use called Flat, they allow you to customize the signature by typing in any two numbers to create the time signature you need. Once again, this would be super helpful. I really, really love this app and that is why I care about fixing these things. Thank you for your time and for this wonderful app.
