Actaully awesome app Has been serving me well for 2 years
Using this on my iPhone is a great experience. But the stupid wheel to quickly change the tempo on the iPad version is horrible! It’s so inaccurate and difficult to use. I can usually get within about 10-15 bbm with the wheel but then I have to use the arrows to get the actual tempo I want. If I keep trying to use the wheel to get the right tempo it either won’t change the tempo when spinning it or it will go way past the number I want.
Simple to use. Has way more functions than I’ll ever need. Loud enough too.
Pretty sure I first got this app around 9 years ago or so when I was playing a lot of shows, and I remember it as being a pretty good basic metronome back then. The last few years I’ve been out of the loop but recently started up again and wow this app has come a long way! Love the modes and the ability to quickly and easily create setlists, as well as customize just about any aspect you want: the look, the sound, and many other options like being able to wave your hand over the phone to advance to the next song. Get this app!
It works well. My drummer uses it in my band and we practice and sometimes play with the click. It would be amazing if you could import your own sounds, program it with the AppleScript, and be able to hook it up to Midi.
Once I get to the correct setting, it works well. Getting to the right setting often takes a while. I have hearing aids, and they work on blue tooth with Tempo. It’s great when I’m practicing alone.
I’ve had this since my 1st generation iPhone. Love this metronome!
What’s not to like here? Good sounds, flexible meter settings, accurate (of course). And it’s there whenever you need it.
I’ve been using Tempo for live concerts for 5 yrs. It’s never crashed on me. The iPad version is perfect for me because I play drums and run Tempo. The buttons are nice and big. Also, I love the ability to create several set lists at once. This makes batch processing tempos for set lists a breeze.
This app does not work. The tempo doesn’t play sound and hasn’t for years. The sound of the beep to keep the tempo is the whole point...I keep waiting for an update to fix this issue but nothing in years. The app has no link to help for support. These developers launched and got their money and abandoned their customers.
Absolutely no complaints about this app. Works flawlessly on my iPhone XR. Hats off to the developers - keep up the great work!
The best metronome on the app store, hands down. A professional musician and lecturer, I use this as my primary practice tool and recommend it to every student. Versatile, customisable, and full of detail I have barely scratched the surface of. Worth every cent.
Ever since iOS 12, the metronome will stop ticking when the phone screen is off after about a minute (roughly). This is a major bug especially when you’re using it for prolonged times.
Hey guys just wanna say that this app is a lifesaver and I think I’m in love... don’t tell my wife 😉. It’s such a versatile app and it works wonders. I would just like to suggest adding the ability to set when the vocal count in begins. The count in feature is great but at the moment it begins as soon as I press play i think it would be cool if I was able to set how many bars the click will play for before the vocal count in comes in. I play a lot of church gigs where there needs to be seamless transitions between songs. I run the click track through our in-ear monitors and I start the click for the next song as we are crashing out the previous song so that everyone gets used to tempo for the next song. I then have to count in with my drum sticks (which is very in-seamless as everyone in the crowd hears it) so everyone in the band knows exactly when to start the song. I know a lot of us in the worship community would really appreciate this! And if you do make this option available ... PLEASE also provide the option of having the vocal count-in playing simultaneously with the click. This would really make transitions between songs seamless and we wouldn’t have to count in with my sticks (rendering the whole purpose of having in-ear monitors pointless.
This is very handy, easy to use app. Nice to have in my virtual toolkit.
Hard to fault, and if anything, some more theme options and sounds. That said, the built-in options will satisfy most people. Keep up your fine work.
No glitches, easy, simply useful. Been using it for a couple of years now.
Keeps crashing! Won’t open! Need metronome! Fix this please!
So good. But, 실행시키지 않았는데 메트로놈 소리가 수시로 나서 Siri 그것을 끄니까 괜찮네요. ^^;
There are many apps out there, so if all you need is a basic metronome, take your pick. This adds the extra features key to any gigging musician; most notably the ability to not only store preset song tempos, but arrange them into set lists. Add to that things like the ability to manually tap the tempo to set it, ability to change the visual features of the timekeeper, multiple time signatures to choose from, etc., it’s a solid app. One star off for intuitive interface: You have to get used to how to get around the app to do things, but once you tinker around, you’ll get the hang of it.
Works well every time.
It’s a great app but I wish there was a version of this for the pc
And then a glitch started. When pressing the tempo up or down button and holding it shifts the tempo by 10’s, how wet randomly it will glitch out and increase or decrease tempo to maximum or minimum and any adjustment of tempo takes you to max or min. Only way to reset the glitch is to restart the app. This was on my iPhone 6 and now the same bug on my iPhone XS. I emailed support a long time ago and still have not heard back. I loved this app but now it is literally unusable in a professional setting.
App is on point, does what it is supposed to do and with a great user interface
I use this metronome daily. Perfect for my every need both while giving drum lessons and playing professionally!
Have used this app for about five years as click for worship. Love it BUT the pan is not working as well as it used to. Sometimes even when it is set to 100% pan right or left it bleeds into other side and obviously not desired. It’s not always possible to 0 out and reset the pan in the middle of a song🧐😱
The vibration mode does not work with IPhone 8, from 109 bpm and up the IPhone vibrates only in the 1 and in the 3. With my iPhone 7 was working smothly. PLEASE FIX.
I used to love this app. Now, after wasting much time to change the configuration, I give up. Why is a time like 6/8 only permitted to be set with dotted quarter, triplets or 2 eighths. I am searching for something where it is I who decides not the programmer!!
This is an amazing metronome with many very useful functionalities, yet very simple to use. A great app highly recommendable.
First off let me say I do really love this app, and it is by far the most useful metronome app that I have come across to date, and is really incredibly useful for both practice routines and gig set lists. That said there are a few niggly points that I’d really love to be worked out. For odd meters (e.g. 5/8, 7/8 etc) it takes quite a bit of effort to correlate metronome markings with the bpm value in the app. For example, if a piece of music specifies a bpm value for a quarter + dotted quarter = 50, one then has to work out manually how to express that in terms of an eighth note, or one of the other preset values. It would be great to be able to punch in a custom beat value here. For regular meters sometimes the preset rhythmic values don’t quite cut it for me, especially in 3/4 when sometimes I only want to hear the first beat of the bar, and end up swapping over to 3/8 instead. This is fine for me but for my students I’d prefer to keep the correct time signature and have the option of a custom value here as well. Finally I’ve noticed on my set lists that sometimes I want to express my bpm for a tune in 2/2 as a half note, and sometimes I want to express it as a quarter (because different sheet music expresses it differently). However when I try to do this, the app automatically converts ALL of my presets to one or the other, meaning I need to either edit this every time, or else again have to work out values manually. It would be great if this value was saveable. If these points could be worked out I think this would be the only metronome app anyone would ever need!
Best metronome app I've used. Use it daily!
Really good metronome app, a cleaner UI would be nice but very easy to use overall with loads of functionality.

Easy to use. Nice and flexible. Yay!
I love this metronome but am very unimpressed I'm being asked to pay again to get the latest version. Yes, it's a 'complete remake', it's a metronome, come on. Still, to be fair, 5 stars for top metronome.
This is an excellent app. The best one I have come across. I was going to buy a metronome but glad I bought this one. Brilliant for practicing with.
Finally a metronome that doesn't drop out when you lock the phone. Simple to get around, everything easy to get at. Would be nice to have a larger selection of sounds or be able to control the pitch of the clicks. Maybe the best pile of pennies I've spent so far! Johnny Porchlight Studios
