Good interface and function.. I am using this app as a guide for tuning my hurdy gurdy. It is especially helpful with the number of the octave being displayed when tuning. I have been pleased with it.

Work for me. It’s amazing I use it to tune congas and it work perfect. For those who are looking for the same application you have to buy the full version.

Functions 100% of the time. Previously used guitar toolkit as a tuner, but it now has intermittent issues with that feature. (GTK is still a great app that I would recommend; just not for use as a tuner) This app is just as good wise of response time and accuracy - and works 100% of the time.

Best tuner on the App Store. I've used several tuner apps over the years and this is the best without question. The pitch recognition and needle is very responsive and it does a good job ignoring background noise that would derail lesser apps. In fact, this is the first app that works as well as a stand alone strobe tuner that you'd buy at a music store. Highly recommended!!!!

Perfect for what you need. Having a tuner app on your phone will save you all the times your tuner is out of battery or you can’t find it or it’s on your other guitar or your other instrument. I love this app.

Tuner review.. I found this tuner on the Apple website and haven’t been disappointed. It’s dead on and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Important. Last year i bought this application and i paid money for full version. When i changed my iphone I couldn't find out purchased version

Product review.. Best tuner I came across and I tried most all that are offered (the lite versions anyway). It picks up what I’m putting down. Chromatic so I can do my non stringed instruments and can hear the low E on even my electric. Most phones I have to tune that low E with he harmonic so the mic can hear it, but not this one. Well worth the three bucks.

Good app. One of the best. The one I use mostly. But I wish it was more precise and quicker to settle on a note while playing. Perhaps this is an intrinsic problem in these sort of tuners. Also unless I kill and restart the app it opens in a tiny window. Hope this will be fixed soon

App works but has its annoyances. This app has all the basics I’d want in a tuner: can play the tone you’re tuning to, can change the calibration, even shows the frequency spectrum of the audio coming in. But swiping to change wallpaper is LAME. I originally tried to swipe, thinking it’d change the note I wanted to sound from e.g. A (at 440 Hz) to Bb, etc, but instead a garish new wallpaper appeared. After wandering around (this took 10m), I figured out that the b and # above the calibration buttons when set to sound allowed me to change the audio tone played back. This app would be much better if: #1 it accommodated iPads (looking at it in iPhone view gives one a neck ache; you’d think the $5 I paid would be worth that upgrade) #2 help provided a bit more instruction. And beyond those fairly large criticisms, utilizing the touch screen aspect more would be welcome. Fix these things and I’ll change my rating to a 5.

Nice tuner app.. Really classy graphic display. Nice needle that shows you if you’re in tune. I really like it. I preferred over all the others I’ve tried. And I am just in the lite version. Considering paying for it just to help the developer since I like it so much.

Needs dark backround. Update: I was happy to discover that some of the wallpaper selections have a dark base, so my previous review has been changed to 5 star. I’ve been using the lite version of this app and decided to purchase it. The lite version has a dark background (above and below the tuner), the new one is white. It will be too bright and distracting, especially on a dimly lit stage. If there is a way to change it, my rating will go to 5 stars.

Finally paid for this app and it’s gotten way worse. I used the free version for years and thought to finally buy it, but now it just Glitches a lot , doesn’t scale between portrait and landscape. I’m giving you 3 stars cuz overall your tuners been good to me, but recent iPhone 11 Pro paid app is a 2 star at best

Accurate, precise. This is a versatile and useful tuner for my iPhone. I use it for guitar, and it’s also helpful when singing, to see how out of tune I really am. It has helped me improve my vocal intonation, and made it so I can have my guitar perfectly in tune at all times. Well worth the price of admission!

Isn’t wonderful, but I still use daily. For Free, it’s a Pretty decent and simple app, no complaints. It is what it says it is, ads aren’t irritatingly intrusive which I’m thankful for. I do wish there was a section that explained functions of the app. But maybe I’m just too lazy to do my own research I use this to tune my guitar & cello because of the simplicity Another side note, my brother uses a different app and we noticed that either his app is off or this one; because all of the strings tuned from this app, turned out half note high compared to being tuned from his app (Didn’t bother me bc I’m not one to get frustrated easily, but I’m sure that’s important to people who want to play together and decide to tune with different tools) ~~~~ I’m sure this isn’t something someone with a high skill set would find useful, but for casual bedroom boredom this is all I ever really needed

Piascore Chromatic Tuner. This tuner is great! It is easy to use, and quickly gives me confidence that my violin is optionally tuned. Absolutely a wonderful tuner. I use this app to tune my concert grand piano… And I honestly could not ask for a better tuner. I even have a $450 professional strobe tuner and believe me this blows it out of the water. I absolutely recommend it to every musician that must tune their instruments.

Tuner. This app is worth purchasing. Especially if you’re a beginner in any instrument whether it be guitar, violin, piano, etc. I recently began playing the violin and this tuner has allowed me to become familiar with tone and get to know my instrument on a whole other level. Even my violin instructor used it during one of our lessons. I highly recommend it !

Can even tune groups of instruments or voices. IMPRESSIVE!. As a professional conductor I have tried a great many tuners. This is the one I have settled on and use the most consistently. It can even be used to tune groups of instruments, like violins or voices, by projecting the app face onto a big screen and allowing all to see the composite pitch. The players/singers quickly learn group tuning by biofeedback experience. It is also the easiest tuner to accurately arrive at just intonation thirds in triadic harmonies ( Major= flat by 14 cents; Minor= sharp by 16 cents). The musicians quickly train themselves to tune accurately by ear, referring to the tuner less and less frequently. A GREAT app!

Tuner Piascore. App works pretty well. Good features for my purposes. My issue is with the company. Paid for the full app and it got kicked off my phone. I tried to contact them and no response. No way to get the app restored? Bad deal.

Excellent Tuner. A very simple to use app. Easy to set both frequency and temperament. Clear readout on meter. I have only one suggestion for improvement: the ability to create sets frequency and temperament settings, so the one could change from one tuning pattern to another with one click. I routinely play at A=440 at equal temperament and also at A=415 with one-sixth comma temperament. I would appreciate being able to switch quickly between the two tunings.

Please add in-tune sound. This app is pretty straightforward with some added features that I personally don’t use (transposition/temperament). I bought it because I like its traditional look/vibe and the option to change background if/when I feel like it. I’ve been playing guitar for a long time now (almost 20 years) and have always tuned to a tuner that makes a sound signaling that the string is in tune, I would give it 5 stars if it had it. Please add it as a function, that would be great!

The Best I’ve Used. Very accurate - I’ve used it to adjust the intonation on my guitars. No crashes nor bad behavior. Lots of options and features. Fun styling. It’s definitely worth doing right by the developer and getting the non-ad version. Quality product.

Review of Tuner. Tuner is an excellent application. It is as accurate as my Korg. I would recommend this application to any musician who carries a smart phone, Tablet, or iPad. Great work. Nicely done! Follow-up review, probably about a year after my initial review. Still using the application, is it every day!

Absolutely the best tuner I’ve tried.. I have tried many tuners. Tuner by Piascore has all the features I need and it’s very accurate. Most important is that it is very stable and always works.

Accurate and reliable. I’ve been using this for quite some time now. It just costs a few dollars for this and it works very well. I just tune my guitar with it.

So far so good.. My standard version quit working. The toner would no longer turn on and off. I purchased the upgrade. That restored things. Other than that glitch, this software is a decent tuner. I haven’t tried all the features but am looking forward to utilizing them.

Easy to use. In my trumpet case there sits two expensive high end hand held tuners. But this app on my phone is the tuner that gets used instead. No batteries to worry about. It has s large display and is easy to use. Even a trombone player could figure it out! One more thing. When you have this tuner out it also reminds you to silence your phone ringer for everything from a rehearsal, a concert or a gig. But those sliding brass pitch approximator trombone players have a hard time remembering to silence their phones let alone tune! We love you bones!

How ?? 4stars? Terrible tuner.. I’ve been spinng my tires going crazy thinking I was losing my hearing tuning my guitar piano and violin to this piece of crap. It turns out when I compare a strobe tuner the app tuner is up to 15cents flat on A Afkat, E flat and F. How is this possible? I paid for this app thinking it would be more accurate, And because it was easy to read but in the end this piece of crap wasted a lot of my time. Don’t buy it

Great tone coach. After over 20 years I’m now reacquainting myself with my instrument. It is absolutely wonderful to spend time achieving a proper tone and notes with this tuner giving me a nice feedback scale.

Spot on. Easy to use nice look.. Great tuner and easy to use. I love/hate the swipe to change the skins, it’s easy, but too easy and changes skins when I didn’t mean too; all good though. Still a great app for tuning and looking good.

Excellent For Beginning Violin. As an older violin student and having played the guitar for over 45 years I have probably tried every tuner out there at some point! What I like about this tuner is the size of the meter. As a beginner violin student I can place my phone on the music stand next to my sheet music and very easily see how my intonation is doing while I play while still reading the music. As a straight up “tuner” I especially like the “in-tune” green gauge below the meter for quick reference. I can highly recommend this tuner regardless of your instrument and best of all you can try the “lite” version first for free!

Serves its purpose. I tune my violin with this app each day, and it has been very reliable. It matches my instructor’s electronic tuner. I’ve also used it when singing to make sure the pitch is correct. I highly recommend this app.

Solid App. 50+ years of piano business and this app is easy to use, and accurate. I’ve had many state of the art strobes and apps. This works fine along with a very experienced set of ears to do the job.

Stupendous!. I’ve been using this tuner for maybe five years. I play the bellows-blown Scottish smallpipes and border pipes. These are more-or-less diatonic instruments requiring more-or-less just intonation vs equal temperament. I appreciate that I can program this tuner for true diatonic just intonation. Also, I can also program this tuner to help me dial in an accurate B minor key on my chanter and drones. EXTRAORDINARY!!!

My go to. Since I carry my phone anyway….. why not use it as a tuner as well. Just as accurate as anything you buy at the music shop.

Superb Tuner. The nearly full-screen pseudo-analog display is precise and a delight. Easy to read in dim (or no) light: frequently encountered when tuning my flutes. Often the only available place to tune, properly isolated from my harpist partner, is a restroom with VERY noisy fan linked to the only light in the room.

Thank you for the truth; as told by a beginner.. We think we are in tune and that becomes a reality. Your fantastic tool trains us to know and appreciate what is, in fact, in tune. From here we are able to use the math to our own desire. Our deliberate tonations, bendings and vibratos are not inadequacies rather expressions. Thank you for this learning opportunity.

Great Musical Tuner. I don’t feel that it is necessary to get all long winded with this review. Very simply stated, when it come to these chromatic digital app type musical instrument tuners, this one here is the best you can get. I operated it next to a very accurate analog Seiko tuner that I own and the results were amazing. $4.00 is not much to pay for something like this so buy it. 5 stars.

Works just fine. Does everything I need it to do. Haven’t really needed to use anything else. Works very well on voice, instruments, whatever. Responds quickly, which is the most important aspect of a Tuner.

Works perfectly - and great for “cents” tuning on guitars. Detailed tuner that’s perfect is you need studio tuning to the cents level. Try tuning E at -3 cents, B at -6, G at -4, D at -8, A at -10 and E at -12. Studio tuning keeps open D, A and E in perfect intonation.

Good but not always reliable. This app worked for about a year. Then for whatever reason it didn’t work correctly. I deleted the app and downloaded it again but after a week it started screwing up. I still have it because I bought the pro version but I also have 2 other free tuning apps. They’re not as nice but they work. I hope this app will get fixed for good. I really like it.

Love it!. As a beginning strings student it is a great help in developing proper intonation. It’s very responsive to note changes and allows me to make fingering adjustments as I play. Violin intonation has improved greatly since I started using the tuner as as a monitor while I play.

Better Than Hardware Tuners. I love this app and use it constantly. I find it to be more sensitive and responsive than the stand alone hardware tuners I’ve owned and now don’t even bother with them though I still have them. I am a music producer and am tuning instruments on an almost daily basis, and this app hears the note sooner with less false readings and over a wider range of frequencies (from really low to really high) than the hardware. Highly recommended.

Wallpaper Options. The wallpapers except for the plains ones look very out of touch and I don’t think anyone including me actually uses them… I would appreciate so so much if you just more options for wallpapers! Otherwise the app is great!

Wasted money. This looked like the interface I was after but the tuners performance is a huge letdown compared to some of the free apps out there and I’ve tried over fifteen of them. This one gives lots of sensitivity options but for an acoustic guitar the needle bounces around so much on the lower 3 strings (tried all sensitivity settings with the guitar and tuner in all manner of positions) and it’s near impossible to get accurate tuning. I would not recommend this tuner if it was free let alone paying nearly six dollars for it. Save your money.

Works great. This tuner has been my pick over trying several others - it is simple, and picks up very low Hz on my bass which some do not.

The only real tuner. Totally pro, Hey! It’s a strobe tuner, the needle graduates in realtime at change of the slightest microtone variant. If a vocal artist wanted to test their living intonation, there are no rounded off digital approximations lighting up here..

Works great for a bit.. I had this app for a long time then the tuner stopped working. I re-downloaded it several times and it didn’t work. I thought it was because I had the free version. I then bought it because I use it enough and it STILL has stopped working. Works great when it does work. But, this issue needs to be fixed.

Perfect. Tuner does exactly what it should do, and does it very well. Seems to be very accurate and works on every instrument I’ve thrown at it. Looks like a pedal.

Satisfied. I bought this app to replace Cleartune which has disappeared. Tuner works about as well and I’m satisfied. The one request I’ve made is to give the face more contrast for easier viewing.

Good Tuner. Nails most anything. I tried it on a piano because I have developed tenitus and can’t hear as well as I used to. The app seemed unable to resolve the frequencies at the extreme ends of the piano scale. Me too, unfortunately. Still, very good tuner.

Good tuner, needs brighter “face”. It works fairly well, pretty easy to figure out. The biggest ding is the dull yellow "vintage" color of the actual tuner area - need to be able to brighten/lighten it up. Did like it well enough to pay for it.

Extremely easy to use. Easy to use, even for someone who is not a musician, and works well.

Useful. With the ability to hear the note played by the app as well as play it on an instrument and use the app to bring into precise tuning, this app is very useful.

Tuner works great!. Mostly use as a backup when my clip on tuner is not available for whatever reason.

Accuracy is poor. When using this for a guitar, the top three strings were ok but the lower strings were consistently tuned flat. I realized the intonation problem because the guitar was not in tune with itself. Then I checked the tuning app with a recently professionally tuned piano. This verified the same inconsistencies that I found tuning the guitar. I would not recommend this app for tuning.

A Good, Reliable Tuning App. As a violin maker, I use this Plusadd app nearly everyday. It’s accurate and responsive for my work and I have no reason to look elsewhere when setting up and tuning my instruments.

Just what I was looking for.. Picked up an old banjo that hadn’t been played in many moons. Strings still in good shape. Had it back to G major tuning in 5 minutes. Definitely worth the few bucks.

So far, so good. Works pretty much like any one of the tuner pedals I had back in the day touring. No issues so far; seems true to pitch and is easily intuitive.

Tuner. I am a piano tuner. My tuner broke after years of use. I didn’t want to spend over $100 to replace it. I have now used the app on my phone and tablet on many tuning appointments. It works great.
