Came with a burrito, but don’t expect that. This app is great! I got it and it came with a Taco Bell burrito! However, the Diablo sauce was kind of a lot and I had some intestinal distress afterwards. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of playing at the state orchestra, so it was not a good time. Luckily, I was behind the tuba section so I waited for him to lean back, and I pooped into the top. No one noticed though because of how beautiful my violin sounded! I would highly recommend this app as it tuned my violin to a level of beauty that nobody noticed me pooping into a tuba at the state orchestra.

Frequently Freezes. If you let the app run for about 3-4 minutes, it will freeze on a single note and won’t help you tune any other notes. The only way to fix it is to close the app entirely then reopen it. It’s also really annoying to have to tap on the tuner button when you open the app; it should automatically begin tuning. Despite the drastic technical issues, it’s a really good tuner but it could be much better.

Great!. Much better then my last one. At first it is confusing but then you’ll get the hang of it! Just click the big button on the left and then play a note. It will say which note it thinks it is and if it is great, too low, or too high. Like I said, much better then my last one!

Umm it’s ok. So I like this app I have a B-flat trumpet but it’s set on an English trumpet and the app cost $4.99 so I can switch it to a B-flat trumpet so every time I play I see it says it’s an egg every time I play a D it says it’s a C and it’s confusing the heck out of me right now so if you want it to say it to any other thing other than an English standard instrument then you need to pay $4.99 so that’s the only thing I don’t like about it I mean we should all have the opportunity to use some thing without having to pay for everything

Perfect! 👍😁. That’s right. Perfect! I’ve tried using other tuners for quite some time and this one is far better than all of them. It picks up every octave your instrument is out of tune. So you can quickly tune your instrument perfectly in no time and at no cost. Thank you so much do this wonderful application.

Good tuner, but some stability problems. I use this for practicing the violin, and it’s overall good, but my big issue with it is when the tuner sometimes freezes. It’s easily fixed when I press the left button to turn it on and off again, but not being consistent would be my only problem with it.

Tuner Lite. I am a severely vision impaired person. I am able to magnify the screen of my phone with a special camera so that I can see A huge Lee magnified image of my iPhone screen and see the needle on tuner lite. That being said, none of the buttons of this app will work when voiceover accessibility feature is activated on the iPhone. As many vision impaired musicians as there are out there, the developers of this app should have made it accessible to those of us who want to use an electronic tuner for our instruments but need voiceover to tell us The function of each button we are activating on the screen and function correctly with the usual voiceover gestures needed for other features on the iPhone As usual, we vision impaired people are left out again when it comes to app development. This app needs to be accessible to everyone. I personally am very tired of talking to app developers about the fact that we need equal access and being told that when the ads they put in the App Store were developed, they were not meant to be used by blind people. This is really no longer acceptible. If Apple can include accessibility features on their product. App developers can make sure that their products are 100% accessible to all.

It works!. I like the fact that it doesn’t drown you inside of ads. Every. Other. Second. And, it actually works! One of my sisters completely untuned my instrument and my tuner was left at school. So, I looked at apps, and this is the only one that really works. Completely recommended this to other string players!

Good product. I am starting to useThis program on a daily basis for itemizing gaining the annunciation of the notes and lyrics that I am trying to put forth in my humming, tuning, singing and piano enunciation. I’m trying to get it articulate enough so that I can gain in my music production skills overall… And begin to produce excellent song material! The program is working excellently towards that. I would’ve given it the last star, but it is really hard to tell with the axles extra features that you have to pay for our within the program. Maybe I’m just not seeing the search engine. I really like this program!

Excellent “Simple” Tuner. I use the “lite” version of this app because that is all I need at the moment. That said, I truly appreciate the quality and simplicity of this app. Clean UI design with a big and easy to view display. I often use it to tune up from across the room. It works with a variety of instruments. I mainly use it for trumpet and guitar. It’s a quality tool that has been my “go to” tuner for years.

Out of tune!. I got this app for my violin and it seemed to work fine the first time I used it. Today I got out my violin and since I hadn’t messed with it for a couple days I wanted to check the it. I turned on the app and it said all my strings were really out of tune. I assumed it was because of the humidity change in the air and went to retuning my violin. After several frustrating minutes I went to test my pitch with my electric piano and every note was WAY OFF! I decided to test the app with the piano and the app is wrong on every note. It reads a C as a D. It is either a half or whole step off on every note! Now I am trying to find an actual tuner so I can fix what this app screwed up.

Good stable tuner. This is a good old fashioned tuner, just like you would get analog. Reminds me of the kind my guitar teacher used to have. Is very accurate, just as long as the guitar (or whatever else you’re trying to tune) is louder than the background noise in the room. Would be five stars except it needs WiFi to work, and that’s not always available on gigs 😕

Great App but Still Needs Work. I am a saxophonist and I just started to use this app yesterday. It was great when I first started using it. But then I noticed a couple of annoying things. When I first got it I went to the settings and tried to change the background to one of the picture ones and it said that I have buy the other app. Also when I would get the perfect pitch on one note I either get to flat or to sharp on the next note. Some of the things that I would like to check out on the app it would not let me because I have the free version. So overall I give it three stars because it is not that open to everyone and some people would not like to pay just for the settings. So please open these settings to everyone.

20 year pro review. I’ve been playing professionally for 20 years. I know a good/accurate tuner. This app has been amazing when I don’t bring a pedalboard to a solo gig as well as changing strings. Perfect pitch and very accurate, yes I’m disagreeing with the other reviews here. This free product is Amazing! Thanks to the owners and designers, way to give back. Thank you. Zack Rosicka

Very very glitchy and not that accurate. This app is great but when I play one string on the violin, the meter goes haywire. It keeps moving to opposite ends of the spectrum- so much so that there are many times when I don’t know whether the string is flat or not. Also, referring to the slight lack in accuracy, when I play a key on my piano it is read as slightly flat by when I play an open string which sounds the exact same, it’s read as extremely sharp- sometimes even a half step above the note it’s supposed to be. Besides these two points, this app is good and convenient. However, I hope the developers are able to fix these issues.

Handy tuner app. Great little app; convenient and functional. I like that it isn’t automatically listening as soon as you open the app but that you press a (tuning fork) button to turn it on and off when needed. Easy to read and use. Thanks!

Really frustrating. I got this app because I noticed my violin was out of tune. It’s very confusing at first and kept giving me advertisements for an upgraded version. I know how to tune my violin and so as it told me the a string was f# I tried to tune it back to a. Eventually it got to the point where rather than it helping me get back in tune it was putting my violin more out of tune. Now I have to get my violin strings tuned from where I rent my violin.

Excellent performance. I've used this tuner for years. It keeps on working. When first downloaded, I checked it against my old Seiko metronome's A440, as well as against my adjustable Korg tuner's pitch. They all matched so I was happy. Am still happy. Not many apps remain this functional for this long. No bells, no whistles, just a tone and an oscilloscope "analogue". Love the big display and easy-on-eyes contrast. Tickled that it still looks like an old Korg or the like. Someday though... somebody's going to be able to monetize how high or low to 440 musicians choose to play... cannot imagine how though!

I’m still a beginner. This works well for my needs, for now. I intend to upgrade soon as I am advancing (I play violin). The upgrade is, I believe, pretty inexpensive and it does offer a few features I need/want now and then. This was recommended by my instructor and it’s turned out well.

Overall solid. Best around. Not too many complaints here. The best there is on the iOS market. However, the icons for the tuning fork and the speaker should be switched. Right, so I'm trying to get a reference pitch so I default to the tuning fork button. Wrong, apparently if you wanna play your instrument at volume (like a speaker button might indicate), that's what the tuning fork button is for. Like I'm just looking for an effing A440 and would be looking for that tuning fork in real life. But when I click that tuning fork button, it brings me to the chromatic tuner. Like seriously, a tuning fork is not a chromatic tuner. Why in the h is the g darn chromatic tuner icon a tuning fork. Serious flippin UI problem. Took me like a solid month of pure frustration to get this shiitake straight.

Best tuner app ever!. It catches the note quickly, along with fluctuations if your pitch keeps going sharp or flat within the same note. It is simple as doesn’t restart if you switch to a different app and then switch back. This is a mandatory app for many musicians, especially string players!

Suddenly doesn’t work. This has been my daily tuner for over two years I’d say.I’m a music teacher and I don’t want to carry around one more thing. Easy to use, simple, adjustable. No nonsense of pressing strings, no too high or too low, but a green light that can be helpful if you need that kind of thing. Since about 3 days ago has done literally nothing. I press the tuning fork and it no longer tries to find the pitch. Reading a review I’m wondering if they decided to switch the icons or something, I guess I’ll check that out but super inconvenient that it just doesn’t work anymore.

Amazing Quality, Great App. I really like Tuner Lite because it allows me to have a tuner pretty much whenever I want, because I don’t have a tuner at home. I love how it’s free and doesn’t take up much storage, and you can change your background if you want to. It also doesn’t run wild like other tuners do. (What I mean by that is some tuners bounce from “it’s all tuned!” To “it’s horrible” within a second and it gets me confused. Tuner Lite doesn’t do that.) One thing I don’t like about Tuner Lite, though, is that it limits you to a certain amount of backgrounds “because they are only available in the payable version of the app”. Well, that doesn’t really matter that much because it’s great anyway, so I still give it 5 stars. Another thing I don’t like is that it has useless ads at the bottom. Well, I guess it doesn’t bother me too much because it doesn’t cover anything important in the app. One strange thing I noticed today is that when I clicked on the app, it wanted me to get some “music store”, when I don’t need that thing. I just need Tuner Lite and Soundcorset to practice my violin. (Check that app out too; you’ll love it!) Anyway, when I clicked on that (I had no choice)it took me to the App Store where it wanted me to buy it. No thanks. I just went back to Tuner Lite and everything was fine. I love it, and I really recommend it for every musician to use!

Better than all tuning apps. Aesthetics aside I have no clue why I had to sift through so many bad tuning apps to find this one. It's the way a tuning app should be, easily accessible while not being over simplistic- like the actual, physical, established tuners. Alternative tunings are free as they should be!

Great app!. I am not a musician, but have a couple of instruments that I wanted to tune, and this was the perfect app. It shows not only the note, but the meter showed the degree the strings were off. I even used it on a Tibetan Singing Bowl to see if it was the correct pitch! 🙂 if I were a musician, I would probably have purchased the app, but as it was, the free was more than I had hoped for.

Great free app.. Super quick and easy to use too, just like a dedicated tuner device. Best tuner I’ve ever had because every other one is lost. This one never gets lost because it’s on your phone. Unless you lose your phone but then you’ve probably got bigger problems. Unless it’s right before a gig. Maybe keep a backup tuner I. Your case. If you only use it as a backup maybe it won’t get lost.

Love this tuner!. It’s perfect. Sensitive but not overly sensitive. I love mainly how it simply pays attention to the note being played rather than a particular tuning group. My girlfriend is learning how to play and she’s tried every other tuner, all of them causing frustration for a beginners patience. This tuner is a breath of fresh air!

The ONLY tuner I use!!. I have been playing ukulele for almost 10 years. When I first started out playing, I could never understand why my tuning was always off to everyone else. This was before i had a cellphone and discovered the world of mobile apps. I finally found out in my adult years that i have reverse hearing loss and it could have affected my ability to pick up on certain pitches. I got a digital tuner but i had paid at least $20 or $30. if it sounds like a rip-off…then you are right. I was barely trying to tune my instrument let alone already have knowledge of fair equipment and devices for ukuleles. anyways… lol … After my over priced cheap tuner finally crapped out on me, i found this app and its really gotten me back into playing. I’m still trying to learn to tune by ear but until then, this is perfect! Been awesome for years now! It’s so awesome that my wife now uses it to help tune her kalimba! BEST FREE TUNER ON MOBILE 😁👍👍

Last fix cleared longstanding mandolin g string issues. Maybe mandolins get no respect, but the previous update killed the ability to tune at all. Perhaps because of attention to my instrument of choice, the g string tuning is now much, much better. Thanks for dealing with this quickly and even making an improvement. Now if I can remember my apple id and password, I might even buy it

I have just tried your app. I have just tried your app and I am enjoying it. I hope that it’s still free after a little while because right now I am not working and I cannot afford to pay anything right now, but I do need a good tuner that can teach me how to tune, my violin, for I am a beginner, thank you so much for your product.

Really?. I used this app to tune my clarinet and when I played a C it said that it was VERY flat (-50) then for the next 10 minutes I kept on trying to get a perfect C and I couldn’t! Then I decided to test this app with my piano, that was tuned shortly ago (a few months ago) I don’t play my piano that much, I play it about 30 minutes a day everyday and it’s in pretty good condition. I played a C on my piano and this app said it was a D!Honestly I don’t know what to say about this app, it works pretty good for others but I don’t understand what happened here! I’m giving this app two stars for actually being able to detect sounds.

A Very Simple & Effective Chromatic Tuner. This is a great little, free tuner with not many bells or whistles and, I really like that about. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I think the app should always open with the tuner mode active as that is this app’s main function. Other than that, great job guys!

Finally!. I’ve gone through quite a few tuner apps, GuitarTuna etc. and they’re all about money for a custom tuning. I like to tune my guitars/bass/etc a bit low, I have a high b right now not an e, it works for me and my style. So nice to just have it dial in ANY note without having to work your way through a ridiculous menu or sign up or pay money. Thank you guys!

Best loud easy to use metronome that’s free. All it takes is one finger to turn it on or adjust the tempo. I don’t have to put everything down pick it up etc. Don’t bother paying for one yes there are ads there at the bottom I don’t even see them because I’m not looking at the metronome I’m listening to it. If I happen to look at it or my students do they don’t get in the way we don’t even notice them.

This app helped me tune my violin!. My violin was severely out of a tune after years of lack of usage, but I decided to fix it today. The only problem was I had no idea how to tune my violin bc my violin teacher had always done it for me. I used different apps and watched several videos, but no luck until I came across this app!! It’s simple to use once you understand what you’re looking for. I finished tuning my violin and the GDAE strings sound identical to how a standard violin should sound. Very grateful for this app!

VERY IMPORTANT! MUST READ🤨. When I first bought this app everything was fine and dandy.👍 It was a quick and easy way to tune all my instruments.🎻🎸🎤 I usually tune by myself at home with my flute, detach it and tune with my band at school. This app worked well, until 1️⃣ day my tuner app said all my 🎶 were one 🎵 above were they were supposed to be. I was furious, I had a concert in two weeks😱😱 and I assumed my flute was broken... But something didn’t sit right with me 🧐 I went on my 🎹 to play an A🎵, my standard tuning note and the 🎹 and my flute were perfectly in tune🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. The tuner app is EXTREMELY wrong. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!!!!

Pretty good app. It's a good app if you need a quick tune. I would not however substitute this for an actual chromatic tuner. The chromatic pitches are rather weak so it's hard to play an instrument with the tuner if needed (I play mainly acoustic instruments). Lastly, in my opinion the tuner is rather "noncommittal". At times it works but if the same note is played three or four times the subtle differences are not the same (the pitch is the same so there's a slight inaccuracy with the app. Overall it's good but not the best and cannot be used with precise intonation practice purposes)

Best tuner app!. In a world where features are king (even though they actually aren’t) having a product that simply does what it’s supposed to do and does it well is so very refreshing. This is the best tuner app hands down. No contest. To the developer, please don’t ever change this. It’s perfect. Keep it perfect forever.

Generally rather good. It’s quick and convenient to tune— especially when practicing on the go, but I wouldn’t suggest substituting it for a regular tuner. As far as apps go, it is rather great, but the proliferation of ads and tendency to freeze up when playing makes it hard to watch for intonation as you play. However, with it being a free tuning app, I would certainly recommend it.

Good app. This app is a good app. I have the free version, but it works great. It’s nice to have the option to hear the note to tune to, or to have the app listen to your note and tell you how close it is to being in tune. The only thing the premium version lets you do as far as I know is to remove ads and customize the background. Neither of these things are a problem in the free version because the ads are a little strip in the bottom so they don’t interrupt your tuning. In the free version, you can still customize the background, but your options are limited. Highly recommend.

Works well. I have not compared it to other tuning apps so I cannot provide a comparison, but I’ve been very happy with it. I did agree with one review about switching the icons because I kept tapping the wrong icon for tuning my guitar, but I’ve learned which one to tap. I like that you can tune it down to the cent if you want to use a tuning other than A 440.

Amazing!!!. This app has been a go to for me for many years, the quality and consistency it has is remarkable. There are no silly adds and the design is straight forward and simple, with room to optimize to your liking!! Truly one of the must have apps for musicians and harmonics enthusiasts alike. Thank for the continual support and improvement!!

Bad, But good. The good bit, I play violin and this has been helpful for me😀 The bad bit, It needs payment for simple things! FOR A TUNING APP! Don’t believe me? Just swipe your screen a few times, and no background. Want full screen? Turn it sideways and it says it needs the paid version. I think if you get the full version, it’s not worth it. I think it’s a rip off. Do not buy the full for simple things!

Simple and surprisingly accurate. Been using it for years now.. Years ago when I first downloaded this app, I was not even aware up to that point that such a thing exists; that is, an app that can be a fully functional and accurate tuner like a typical physical stand-alone tuner. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find when I gave it a try, it actually worked! I have even compared the results from what this app tuner thinks is in tune and then what a true physical tuner reads. I admit I was impressed to find that they were virtually the same......In other words, it truly does work. Nothing fancy (which I like as a matter of fact) but it has proven to be a pretty reliable tuner which is all I need. All that said, if I am going to be performing live or laying down some guitar tracks in a studio or anything like that, I would still prefer a physical tuner from any of the long established well known names in that world; however, for just needing to make a quick tweak while your practicing and don’t have your tuner near by, or anything like that, I know I can always have this on my phone as a backup ready to go and can trust the accuracy without having to worry. Definitely comes in handy. Honestly have no complaints. Would certainly recommend to guitar players like myself as well as any other musicians that this may still work for with whatever other instrument you might play. Great up for what it is. Thanks!

One size fits all. It lays out a reasonable scale. Most great tuners who use electronic tuners to create a temperament, tune the tuner to the piano and then use the adjusted scale to guide the well tempered instrument. With this app there is no such capability. The scale is laid out by primary tones as if it could be represented by 88 tuning forks that have been laid out as a temperament where one size fits all. It will work well enough on a practice piano in a music school but not for a recording or concert instrument.

Ruined by the ads. I used to love this app because I found it to work well. I would have given it 5 stars. The last time I tried to use it, though, there was an ad at the bottom that automatically expanded to engulf the entire screen with a video clip of a puppy. When I closed the full screen ad, it would pop back open again within a few seconds, rendering the app completely useless. This problem persisted after closing and reopening the app several times. Now I am on the search for another tuning app; a friend of mine uses PitchLab and it seems to work well for her, so I might give that one a try.

Great utility!. This app is just the right thing! It's simple to use; the app does not get in the way of doing what I am aiming to do with it. I just open the app, and am ready to tune, and it is spot-on! I have been using this for well over a year, and have never even cared to look for another one.

Why is it soo hard.... So I recently bought this new viola, that needed to be tuned. A4,D4,G3,C3 when I tune my A string and come as it perfect, then when I move to the next string. I go back to check if it’s going to give me my A4, but it always comes back F#3, but just a minute ago it was A3. It seems like the app is giving my inaccurate tuning, it’s been a great app but I need my tuning to be correct. I do understand that the apps on my phone, but I go through these reviews about people having wonderful experiences, but I don’t. I’m going to try it out one more time, if the app works I’ll continue using the app.

Usually pretty good. It’s a nice app the whip out quickly to tune. It’s a little challenging to play and watch for intonation while working on a piece of you have the lite version. The ads will pop up covering the whole screen. Sometimes very frequently and times it’ll make you press play so you can get the video started so you can go back to tuning. That’s a little annoying. Also I ran into problems where it will stick onto one note and as play other notes, it’s frozen on that precious note until I exit out the app again.

Simple but PERFECT!. I have been using this tuner for several years, and it is the best, and simplest one on the market. I no longer use any of my “dedicated hardware” tuners. My phone is always with me, and this tuner is “dead on” accurate! Save your money, and use this app. Since my iPhone is always with me, I am NEVER without my tuner! I have been performing professionally for 53 years, and this is the BEST tuner on the market! Thanks! Chuck Ruggiero Professional Guitarist Watertown, NY

Pretty good. A nice and simple tuner good for any instrument! Couldn’t commend it highly enough. Unfortunately the ads are quite distracting by they aren’t in your face or anything. Not sure what the paid features do (other than irrelevant wallpapers) but... Overall a pretty good app — especially if you can’t be bothered to buy one yourself!

👍. Simple to use, great

Hi. Could not do without this little gem

Could be useful but is innacurate. The same app on iPhone and iPad disagree! When both are set to Speaker the tones beat against each other. When checking pitch of either device against each other the meters disagree. Which is correct? Which to believe? The iPhone shows the test tone from iPad is 1c sharp. The iPad shows the test tone from the iPhone is 4c sharp. With a Standard A440 tuning fork - the iPhone reads 0.5c flat - the iPad reads 2c flat

So easy to use. Highly recommend for cellists!!

Guitar tuner. Great product I have used it for years. Love it

Accurate and easy to use. I’ve tried a few tune apps, and this is my favourite one. Easy to use and flexible, and has enough features to suit my requirements.

Won’t tune properly. The app worked fine until a few days ago when it started displaying incorrect notes when I’m tuning

Cool 😎. I like this app, well laid out. I like how it can play you a note or listen to one of yours.I haven’t had any problems with the actual tuning part of the app. So, thank you for this app.

Awesome!. Works well for cello. Hasn't let me down

Review. It is was very good and helpful. I would totally recommend it!! Plus it was free👌

Tuner Light. Very easy to use, quick easy tuning I use it for my acoustic guitar

Great easy to use app. Very good little app helps me keep my cello in tune.

Student friendly. I recommend this app to all my violin students. They watch me tune their violin to it and pick up the concept quickly. Soon they are able to tune their own violin when shown how to use the string adjusters to raise or lower the pitch.

Tuning. This app needs to be more accurate. I tried tuning my E string but the only way for the arrow to point to the middle was to make it out of tune.

Flitty. No matter how many times I tune it it doesn’t seem overly consistent. It seems to flit al over the place....?

wonderful to have. Used on daily basis for violin tuning

Finally, a tuner that works. I play double bass and usually use gut strings. I’ve never found a tuner that works with these. With my regular bass getting repaired I’m using one with synthetic strings. I tried one tuner and tuning a string with that made the string sharp so I thought that, like with the gut strings, all tuners would fail but this one works, perfectly. Can’t wait till I can try it with the gut strings.

First option above all!!!. This is the app you need the most!!!

Stick with Legitimate Advertisers. Great app. Great tuner. I used to click on the ads and have a look around if they were relevant, to support a great free app. Not really intrusive because you aren't touching the screen in use. But these days ads look suspicious. Might not be I don't know. Suggest sticking with trusted brands for your ads. Thanks for the great app all the same.

Good, but remove purchases.. The tuner itself isn’t bad at all but it just seems stupid to have to pay to get all the features. Make it fully free and this is the best tuner on the App Store.

Fine. It is useful when it works but sometimes it freezes and there is too many adds and it would be one of the best tuning apps on the App Store if the extras were free. Great for beginners.

Can be confusing. It can be very confusing at first but isn’t too bad after you understand how to use it. Ads are annoying. I would recommend to a friend, but only because it is the best violin tuner app. If there were a better app, then I would delete this one.

Easy and good. No fuss, very accurate use it all the time

Great easy to use. Nice and simple to use

Tuner. Easy to setup and easy to use

Good. It’s good just sometimes it’s a bit too sensitive and having a metronome with it would be amazing

Best app for violin students. I’ve used this app for about 6 years, it’s so easy to tune your violin with, I’m not sure what other app I would’ve used without it. Just amazing.

Great little app. Use the free version or the very affordable paid one. This app is great and my go to during all practice sessions to tune my violin.

V good. Simple to operate and reliable - never failed in 5 years. Thank you for opportunity to use it for free.

Excellent functionality. This app does all I need it to when tuning my guitar and my kids violins. It is sensitive enough to show flats and sharps with enough of a scale to tune accurately. Well done and thanks for making it free!

Great little tuner. Works great for my cornet, easy to use

Good. This is good but don’t have ads on the bottom

This was handy while it lasted. This tuner has 2 major problems (free version). Firstly you need to press 2 buttons to get it working which is intentionally annoying as hell because they want you to buy the paid version for a 1 button function. Secondly the ads can sometimes override the tuner and just freeze up the app or cause it to deactivate the microphone. This can be avoided by not allowing it to use data (settings) then turning off wifi just before opening app. Again, very annoying. Despite this I have still used it for over 5 years. But there is finally a better product on the market called SimplyTuner which is a one touch function and doesn’t have ads. So thank you for 5 years but I’m gonna have to finally delete this tuner.

Great. Great tuner for violin, very accurate and by the sounds of things, works really well with other instruments. Also has a very broad range of frequencies that can accomodate many instruments (violin, guitar, viola ect) The only problem is that it needs updates and that some of the features need money otherwise very good.

Happy with its accuracy. Tested it against 3 other clip on tuners and it’s pretty bang on.I paid the extra and there are no ads and I get to use all the extra features. All in all I’m happy with this easy to use tuner

To expensive. This app is very good but I think a few backgrounds shouldn’t be that expensive.

Worst app ever! Hate!. I tried to use it and I was using it for my violin but it was saying C like it was a viola I got so frustrated. Don’t get this app you were well warned!

Tuner lite. It’s so useful and amazing

Tuner Lite by Piascore. Great tuner app, easy to use!

Something has broken it. Every time the ad down the bottom restarts it stops listening to my guitar.

Very good!. Easy to use, very simplistic. No bells and whistles but gets the job done.

Works great, thank you!. Thank you fire writing this

Great app. Perfect for my needs. Quick to tune up before a show down to the MHz.

Amazing. As a young violinist practicing all the time, my violin goes out of tune a lot, when a discovered this I knew it would work. Now my music teacher recommendes this app to all her students.

Best tuner ever. It fixed all the notes on my violin it is super good so download it for free now!🤩

The best 👍. Highly recommended 👍

Excellent, portable and reliable.. Perfect for the oboe player when giving the A, and knowing the note will be spot on 440.

Tuner Lite. Great app. One of two apps I use to tune my Steel Tongue Drums. Definitely recommend for tuning just about any instrument Cheers Russell’s Steel Tongue Drums 🙏🥁

Great app. Easy to use and great with instruments from double bass to piccolo

BB.ca. Great

Perfect. Good app and easy to use

Love it. Easy to use with my low G ukulele

Perfect !. Acurate and reliable 😀

Great tuner. Nicely designed. Easy to use.

Essential app!. Nothing more to say. Get this one

Tuner. Very handy when you need to tune in an instant

Tuna all. Works great for my bass .. acoustic at home nd on the go

Great. Reliable and easy to use!

great app. never let me down in 5 years!

Super. Très pratique

low notes. can’t quite hear low bass notes when tuning a while step down. otherwise very good

I need this.. I forget things. This goes with me and is reliable.

Garbage. Dont use this

呵呵. 老子调个音都要付费免费的还都是垃圾 我呵呵我

J’adore. Très facile d’utilisation. Je m’en sers pour mon ukulele et la guitare.

Tar ( Persian tar player). Thanks

it works. it’s not very accurate but it works fine when you need to tune quickly without a tuner

Your app is useful , but I would give this a five star if this app is easy to use.. And that’s it

Really useful!. Easy to use - you can tune to a provided pitch or sing/play your instrument and find out your pitch. Recommended! And free!

Tuner Lite. I’d be lost without it.

Tu tkt du tuft tu f. Do not install this 🤬this app is the worst

Tuner Lite. Accurate and Easy to use.

Tuned.. Oh my god! My strings weren’t in tune and now they are. Just what I needed. This app does not deliver groceries. But if they did it would be on time. Ok sorry. I’m out.

Convenient. Great little tuner that is always handy for tuning my harp!

Tuner. Simple to use

Un fidèle compagnon. J’accorde mon ukulélé, c’est impeccable. Et quand j’arrive sur scène, je me sens bien. J’applaudis votre beau programme.

Top notch tuner. Love it

Bonne application. Très pratique

Totally professional review. Works great!

This is a review. This is a great review!

Great tuner. Been using on my phone for years

Great, simple app. Unlock other “free” apps, this one does not try to sell you anything every time you open it. It tunes your instrument and does the job well. Couldn’t ask for more!

Awesome!. I love string instruments, but have always struggled with tuning them. This app takes the guesswork and headaches out of tuning your instrument. I highly recommend it. I use it every time I play!

Excellent tuner for violin. Very convenient to use

Bien. Bonne app, ne se limite pas seulement à la guitare et au piano, j’accorde mes cuivres avec. Je recommande à autrui.

it’s a tuner. been using it for many years, works very reliably and the ads are minimal which is appreciated. love the prompt asking me to review, nice to meet you after what must be half a decade of me using your app, Hiro.

💪. It works just like it says it will!

Excellent. Very user friendly :-)

Professional. Excellent product 🙌

Meh. Meh

Great and straightforward. This app is great for pretty much anything from instrument tuning to vocal. Super Easy to use !

Very nice. I used on kalimba perfect

Know your pitch.. Works for me!

Confusing. As a beginner violinist, it is hard to tune. I thought this app was just what I needed, but it is confusing. I don’t know how to access the tuner since it just tells me to scan something.

Not good. Ads keep interrupting the drone and I need to turn it back on.

Awesome. Great app, I tune my cello with it. I love that it tells you if it’s accurate exactly or slightly off unlike most tuners

Good ish. Good it’s nothing amazing but does the job, less adds would be nice

Great app. Super good and useful app, no adds and free (with optional but unnecessary payment) overall great if u don’t have a tuner

Great for Sound Therapists. I use this to measure and tune to the frequency and scale to match my desired intention at that time on many of my various tools. I love how easy it is to use to see what frequency range my tools and instruments are sounding.

Amazing!. This fine tuner is amazing, it’s a perfect, quick and easy way to tune a violin, I recommend it, I think it’s wonderful. It’s accurate and precise, and easy as 1-2-3! I totally think you should get it!

Good music app. As a physiology teacher I use this to have students get feedback on the singularity of their vocal frequencies which are hard to achieve. As a music enthusiast I also use it produce vocal sounds indifferent frequencies/octaves to test by personal abilities.

Serving Ads Even In Paid Version. First of all - I had to pay for this twice. Once around 2013 or 2014 when I first got the app. I paid so I wouldn’t be served ads every 3 seconds. Then for some reason I was downgraded to an unpaid version. Paid again - and y’all still serve ads even with the paid version of the app. Reprehensible - cannot say enough bad things about the development of this app.

Easy to use and accurate. Have an antique Mills Violano, approx 100 years old but fully restored. When it came time to tune the violin the task was extremely easy and highly accurate. Thank you for developing this wonderful app!!

Great app. This is literally the only tuner I use everyday all day....for my acoustic guitar my electric guitars and my three bass guitars. I own tuners that cost some good money and definitely are worth it but the best thing about this app is that I don’t have to plug my guitars into it. I just pull my phone out of my pocket set it down open the app and tune away. It simply and easy to use it’s accurate and it has worked every time and if you get bored with it you can change the theme on it and it’s like you got a new tuner... To who ever made this app thank and keep up the good work.

More reliable than external tuners. I have used this app to tune ukuleles, violin, guitar, mandolin for years now. I have other free standing tuners but can’t always find them or else they break. This is the only one I really need. I use the tuning fork mode.

Better than the rest. Always had good results with this app. Works great in a quiet environment, and will also do the job if there are other voices, or sounds around. Haha remember saying “hey can you guys keep it down. I have to tune my guitar!!!” Hope this help. Keep on keeping on dudes

Great app. Others I’ve seen only let you do standard tuning without getting premium or something. This lets you tune any which way

Please stop making me go to the App Store. What if I want to change something on Settings? It makes me go to the App Store but then I have to buy an app that I do not want to buy or get my downloading I’m not sure if it’s by or not but still I don’t wanna go to the App Store so please stop making me go to the App Store. Thank you.

Great tuner. This has been on my phone for a couple years and it works like a charm. When my clip on tuners run out of batteries or it’s too dark to see them well, this one always comes through.

Been using this since middle school.. The only tuner app you need, you don’t need to buy it to enjoy it but I wish I had way back then cause of how much I used it.

So accurate!. I used to tune my autoharp by ear only, but using Tuner Lite makes the job twice as fast! It also allows me to show my young music students the visual range of fine-tuning a string to the correct pitch.

Very simple, very good. The Goldilocks of simple tuners.. Many tuners actually react too quickly for variable pitch instruments- voice, winds etc. The needle jumps all over with the small fluctuations in pitch. This one is adjustable from a very slow to a very quick response. Also, there are a lot of tuner apps that you need to take a night class to learn to operate. This one is wonderfully simple. And yet! This is one of the few tuners that has exact hash marks for Just intonation of 3rds (major down 14 cents, and minor thirds up 16 cents.) This is an excellent simple tuner!

Great App. I’ve been using this app for years. It is amazing, especially for a free app. There are very small adds on the bottom, not a big deal. It’s accurate and easy to use. Stop looking, you’ve found your tuner.

Easy to use, responsive tuning app. There’s something wrong with my guitar’s onboard tuner, so this app has been a huge relief. It’s simple and it works, it has more features than it should for being free so good on them. Use it, you’ll like it.

banjo tuning. Works great for tuning my tenor banjo! It's so simple and intuitive to use that I can focus on making sure a banjo string doesn't snap and hit me in the face instead of trying to figure out a difficult interface.

Works well!. I wish I could lose the ads. Don’t like that. Maybe I have to pay for something. The tuner works well for my reed instruments. I always use the pitch fork side.

Works very well. It’s my go to.. I’m probably gonna have to pay these guys at some point, because I use it so much. It’s just a great tuner. My phone is always handy, and it seems to do just as good of a job as any other tuner in my bag of tricks.

Especially good if you play in 432 (A). I’ve discovered that my music sounds much better when my band tunes to 432 instead of the standard 440. This tuner makes it easy to calibrate to other pitches which isnt offered in most tuners. (Thanks for including that feature!)

Accurate tune app ever!. I downloaded about 5 violin tune app almost all of them was junk with crazy ads. This app is the only accurate tune app ever. Surprisingly it’s free and ads free app. Thank you so much for an amazing app which makes my training easy :)

Ehh it’s ok. Like I mean it’s good of showing what notes your playing but the thing is I also use vocals to check myself but the thing is I think the numbers are a little off. Like I’ll play F4 but it’ll say F3, and then I’ll check and I’m actually playing the right note but it’s just says it’s wrong. Idk I think there is a bug.

Great to match pitch. Keep in mind that this is strictly a tuner, and not a pitch pipe. If you want, say a G, you will need to download a pitch pipe. Note: Because it works with the internal mic on your phone, any Bluetooth device (in my case, hearing aids) will interfere with the tuner app.

Easy and reliable. Most phone tuners I’ve tried are off a bit, but this one is consistently on par with my more expensive dedicated tuners. Worth having on your phone for when there’s a spontaneous jam opportunity. Also very easy to use.

Could be better but couldn’t be freer- thanks!. Sometimes it has trouble figuring out the note being played. Takes a few minutes to get it just right. Get a paid app if you need it tuned faster, I guess :)

Tuner lite....really like it because.... When I use this to tune my classical guitar, as the meter comes to “zero” for each string I can hear my guitar come alive. I’m not much of an artist, but this app helps me sound better than I am! Many thanks!

pretty good.... I’m a violin player, and I’ve had this app ever since I started. It’s been great, but it gets confused when I try the G string. It thinks it’s a D, but it is really in tune. Also, I know you’re trying to make a little extra money with all the pro stuff, but it is really dumb. Thanks for the free tuner!

Easy on the go.. You need a quick, easy tuner when you’re away from your gear and setup or out at the park and don’t want extra stuff to lug around, download for sure.

Easy to use. Like this free version. Problem is if the phone rotates, it automatically goes to landscape mode which toggles the app to a pay version.

Best free tuner. One of the most accurate and easy tuners for you me phone, plus it just dials in on the pitches so you don’t have to pay extra for alternate tuning or for other instruments.

Solid little app!. We’re “sheltering in place” here which means the violin teacher can’t tune the kids’ violins for us. And my wife and I haven’t a clue about music. Enter this app + a little patience. Violin sounds wonderful, and we’re making progress while staying isolated. Perfect!

Awesome. Been using it for years, Click the tuning fork and good to go. Accurate and easy. I just upgraded to paid regular version since I’ve used it so much I figure I will share the love

Nice tool. This is a great backup for my clip on tuner. Graphics are clear and useful. Can’t have much background noise, but c’mon, this is a phone app! My 4 instead of 5 is because it freezes sometimes, but it only takes a second to reboot it, so a minor issue.

Great app. The app works nicely with good accuracy. Basic features are available without being bogged down with ads. Extra features can be purchased. Works as it should

Great tuner. Love the tuner Been using for years and has worked for my whole band. Such great set up and tunes all instrument. Only thing I would change is I would add a reference to how many hertz for each instrument to be tuned at but overall really great

It’s ok. The app is ok if you have a slight tuning issue, but if it’s pretty major (laughs at unintended pun), it tunes my instrument really sharp. It’s probably just me, I’m not sure. The ads get really annoying, too. I find it easier to just listen to the note and try and match it because the actual tuning part of the app doesn’t work well with my instrument (cello)

Good enough for regular tuning. its a tuner. it can also play you a note to tune by ear you can change the background but you can't change it to certain colors cause you have to pay for the premium version App works good. That's it.

Free “Lite” version does the basics. Free version is nothing fancy, just shows (1) notation & analog type meter, or (2) provides audible tone. Bass guitar can throw some tuners - this one doesn’t trip. Only complaints are that a) noisy background confuses the meter, b) the A-440 tone is too quiet to hear in all but quietest environment. Neither a problem in practice room.

On a scale from 1 - 10, I give it a decent. Quick and convenient, I mean, it’s on my phone so...more often than not I at least think I know where it is. I had to move some numbers around...tighten up the ol’ belt, in the parlance of our times, to afford it. Not to say it’s not priced appropriately, ‘cause it is...it’s a free, easy tuner app that works, what’s not to like?

seriously, why do I have to pay for landscape mode. This app does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I appreciate that. The fact that landscape mode is an in-app purchase is kinda dumb, but overall not that big a deal. Good job.

Serviceable if you’re not in a rush. A serviceable but finicky tuner app that is very susceptible to being thrown off by surface noise and has a difficult time ascertaining the pitch on a guitar’s low E and A strings. Fine for use at home when you’re not in a rush, but I found it’s not efficient enough to use while giving a guitar lesson.

Tuner keeps stopping. The tuner works for maybe ten seconds then it stops working. It seems to correspond to when the ad at the bottom of the screen changes. I have to stop what I’m doing, reach down and turn the tuner off and on to get it working again. Very frustrating. Please fix this bug! Other than that, it’s a nice app when it works.

I couldn’t have gotten through the pandemic without its!. I’ve been playing violin since 3rd grade and have usually had assistance while tuning, but the pandemic has made that pretty hard! This app has really helped with that! 5 star and 2 thumbs up!👍👍

Useful. Whenever I need a tuner on the spot, I come here. Reliable and never lets you down. More importantly, no annoying ads. Thank you developers for a trusty reliable app.

Awesome. Quite easy to read. I was looking for a tuner with a needle because I dislike those that have little “LED’s”, or light emitting diodes which usually represent 2 cents in pitch consequently it’s impossible to get 100% in tune with them. But with this it’s quite easy to be in tune. Love it.

Very good!!. I really like this app, not only because it’s free and easy to use, but it’s accurate, and helps me hurry and get my instrument or whatever I’m playing ready to go, because the more I practice the better I get. And with Tuner Lite, it makes me better.

The best tuning app on iPhone. I have been tuning my violin for far more than 2 years with this app and I am very thankful for everything you guys are Saving lives love the app and appreciate everything you guys do ❤️

My go-to tuner app!. This app has everything I need in a tuner. Simple, easy to use, accurate, and intuitive. Plus it’s free, but the ads are not even a little bit intrusive- I don’t even notice them.

Works very well. I give this top rating as it does everything i need and probably more The cost of a small clip on tuner is not bad but this is free, download click on the tuning fork and tune. No BS ad's nothing just good old reliable tuning Thanks for the awesomeness

goes off. i have perfect pitch. and i have this tuner so it can help me stay more on key when i sing, and helps me see if my piano is tuned. and sometimes i’ve noticed if i move a few half-steps down too quickly, it throws off the machine’s pitch. luckily i KNOW when it’s off because i’m given the advantage of having pitch myself, but it ALMOST made me think i was wrong, however i knew i wasn’t. that should be fixed.
