Soundcore Comments & Reviews 2026

strange design, missing obvious features. this app is strange, and not in a “oh, that's fun!” sense. there are very few clear tap targets, and often things which are tappable look greyed out. in using the app with a newly-purchased Wakey (which is a very impressive device) i find it's impossible to set an alarm which triggers the a connected phone to play a song or playlist, which is disappointing as it's even less functional than Apple's own alarms, which can at least play a single track as an alarm. at least i can keep using this with the Wakey, but i bought it hoping for more functionality than i could get from a regular Bluetooth speaker. maybe a future app update will add this feature? it's also not very iOS-like. it feels more like a web page in an app wrapper to enable mobile use. there's no EQ for the Wakey that i can find, though this isn't such a huge issue as the sound quality is generally excellent. the app does the basics competently, if oddly, but it could use a redesign to make thing clearer and to help it feel like an iOS app.

Complete waste of an app, beyond frustrating. I have two different models of Soundcore ear buds which work fine. The issue is noise cancellation doesn’t work without the app opened and then most times the app doesn’t recognize the ear buds / iOS device are already paired. I wouldn’t even care about the app but the noise cancellation setting, which I always select, doesn’t work unless the app has recognized / pairs with the ear buds. So now I have to open the app which doesn’t automatically recognize the ear buds are already paired with the device. So now I have to manually attempt to get the app to pair with with ear buds which typically takes several attempts or just fails. All I want is the noise cancellation to automatically start when the ear buds pair with the iOS device, why must I screw around with this horrible app?

Great EQ App. Probably the best EQ app I’ve used. It’s got quite a few options and is pretty user-friendly. I would say some things could be improved to be easier to get to; for example almost everything that’s in the profile section of the app. Over all, as an EQ app, it’s very good. VERY worth getting if u have a Soundcore product. WARNING: there are a couple products that might not be supported by the app (I think some of the cheaper or older products). That might have changed by now though.

I love my soundcore frames!!!!. I know they’re sold out on the Encar website, but I was able to pick up a pair of Wanderes, on eBay NB , with the elusively hard to find Charging Case. I have to say I love these glasses, and I’ve tried a lot of Bluetooth glasses, VR glasses, etc. I love them so much I bought a second pair with the café frames and have them fit for my reading glasses prescription. It’s so nice to never have to worry about losing Airpods again. But the best part is this app is so awesome and customizable as far as being able to control the sound of the glasses, which are stellar for an open ear headphone. They are way better than Dan conduction. My favorite part is nobody even knows I am wearing a piece of tech when I’m wearing them. Please make all of the frames available on the website again. I need to get a set of promenade and aviators lenses!!!!

Great app, one complaint.. I bought a Boom 2 and I LOVE IT. The sound is loud, crisp, and clear. It has incredible bass range with stunning volume. I got the app and after some playing found the light customization and got to work. One thing that irks me is the lack of a ‘save colors’ button. If you want to change a light mode’s color, you have to do it manually, with no save states. For instance, I like the flame light, but I sometimes want red flames, and sometimes blue flames. I would like to pick a preset in a list and change it instantly. That would be lovely. Another thing: the color picker is 2D, with hue and saturation. It would be nice to pick value as well.

Decent app but dangerous bug. I purchased Soundcore Space A40s looking for a budget but still good pair of noice cancelling earbuds. I honestly found the app decent and easy to use my only complaint being that it is hard to access the controls for your headphones. The reason I gave the app three stars is because of a dangerous bug. When I turn my Soundcore Space A40 on Transperency or Noice Cancelling modes they make a ear damaging screeching noice that can be heard 10ft away. I’m writing this review in the hopes that someone from soundcore could tell me how to fix this or at least tell me how to get a refund because I can’t even really use these headphones.

*Almost* Perfect. I recently ordered the Q30 Headphones, and all the features in the app and on the headphones work great, but there’s just one specific problem with the app itself. I have an iPad Pro, but the app interface when launched has the same amount of pixels as a phone screen, meaning it didn’t scale up on my device. This also makes a few more things difficult, because the keyboard when used in the app don’t have my passwords or autofill in it, and since the keyboard is so small, it makes typing in my passwords and info a real challenge. Other than that, great performance overall, really impressed with how much came for the low price!

Nice features, privacy policy is a joke. First impressions matter. The first step on launching the app loads a “agree” button. I usually quickly scan these things, but when I opened the policy there were instant red flags. First, dark pattern design everywhere. Literally dark grey text on a black background. Stuff hidden off the side of the screen. Microprint without zoom or copy. No options for visually impaired users. Nobody does all that unless they are hiding something, didn’t take long to find the truck sized holes. Keeping in mind this is a headphone app, it claims the right to collect tons of info off your phone, combine that with information from other sources, then use it for targeted ads, or transfer it to data brokers. Keep in mind some of these devices have health sensors and have access to the health app data on your phone. There is no opt out on the app, and the policy routes requests to a generic email account and claim it can take 30 days to reply. By which point your data has probably already been packaged and sold. This appears to fail to meet either Apples policies or California laws(which they mention but don’t seem to comply with) Fix this to be readable, Accessible, and allow permanent and global opt-out from the privacy screen, and fully legally compliant.

Surprisingly great. Normally companies that make a popular style of item have a third party company make their app and it is always so glitchy. This app alone would make me willing to pay$20 more than another I would pay for identical product that was using a third party app. The interface is great and it feels like it has way more features in the app then I would expect. I would definitely recommend the ear buds on their own merits. But when you add in the app it adds even more to the product thanks!

Review of the App. The earbuds are great (prefer over my expensive Sony Earbuds) but this review is for the app. The app appears to be well designed prior to development. Hats off to the designers of this application. Everything that is most important is on the landing screen, and the everyone once in a while stuffed under settings. The font is relatively large, needs a way to adjust for older people, but it’s the icons make up for it a little. You never have to click too many times to get where you need. This app is simple, decluttered, has a purpose (support the buds) and executes. No sales pitch, no clumsiness, no irritating pop ups, never assumes. The HearID is a bonus for me. Short story- The customer can see for them selves faster than reading this review. It’s a simple and effective app.

Outstanding Application. This is one well done app. I’ve had absolutely no problems connecting with my Life Q20+, Life Dot2s, or my latest Liberty 3Pro’s. In fact it’s using the app with the latter that prompted me to write a review. Maybe it’s sounding like I’m an Anker fanboy…I guess that may be so…but with good reason. The versatility of this app with the Liberty 3 Pros is amazing! Sure you can switch between ANC and transparency modes, and assign various touch patterns to the functions as you prefer ( and there’s a bunch) but mostly I like the ability to customize numerous EQ curves. Or is it the ability to manually adjust the desired level of noise cancellation? Not sure, but it’s nice to have the ability. You can also choose from numerous preset curves and leave the ANC/transparency on auto, your choice! This app is all about “your choice”. The app also did a nice job figuring out my specific ear canal acoustics and tuning a curve to it. Well done! I could drone on and on for sure, I guess. I just wanted to say WELL DONE Anker!

Love love love!. Amazing headphones. I just recently got the Q30 headphones & love them!!! Awesome app features too! I have coworkers saying these have better sound quality than their Beats do! The noise canceling is awesome!!! Only 3 things I wish were different & are by no means a deal breaker nor effects the quality of the headphones: 1. Transparency mode on / off with 1 second touch is very sensitive— while doing yoga, my arms hit the headphones often and turns it on and off. Wish I could customize the settings with that to be either a different amount of seconds to hold, or have the ability to turn off and on the touch setting and only use the button when working out. 2. The app shows there’s a widget available which is awesome! It just isn’t an option on my iPhone 13 Pro. It didn’t show up for my coworkers iPhone 15 either. 3. When working out, headphone slip off my head sometimes. A little more tension could help but also could possibly cause headaches? Not deal breakers!!! Just feedback (: The price and quality of these headphones are absolutely amazing!

amazing brand. i own the Life q30s and the Space a40s and i love both of them. the sound profiles could be a little better on both but the noise cancelling and battery life are incredible especially for their price. the earbuds lasted 8 days before they died and i use them for about 5-7 hours a day and the q30s last even longer than that. i do have one complaint is that whenever there’s a violent thud or shake like a car door shutting or the wearer jumping the earbuds have this really bad feedback for like half a second. other than that though im entirely satisfied with both products

Missing something. I have the liberty air 2 and although they are working great there is one thing that I wish it had the ability to do and hope that the next earbuds WILL have, it is to be able to switch devices from the app like most other companies has. The way it is now is not practical, it is frustrating to manually switch from one device to another. I used to have the backbeat fit and although they were not earbuds, they had the ability to switch up to three devices( including tv) on the app. That was practical cause whenever I go for a walk I sometime forget to turn off the bluetooth on my ipad before listening to my iphone music and by the time I start walking and try to pair my earbuds i notice I forgot to turn it off. THAT IS FRUSTRATING. Please make the change as it will be useful to have.

Terrible App & Useless Customer Support. I used to love the Wakey Bluetooth speaker/clock but a month ago the app stopped working properly. The minutes in the snooze setting started all showing as the % symbol. I contacted customer support and they said to make sure the app was updated to the latest version, and if that didn’t work, to uninstall and reinstall the app. I did both those those things, but the problem persisted. I told this to customer support, but they said they tested the app themselves and everything worked fine, and just repeated the same instructions. I even installed the app on another device and the same problem occurred there as well! I told this to customer support, but they continued to say the same thing: “We tested the app, nothing wrong with it, we’re sorry for the inconvenience.” If the very same problem occurs on two separate devices then clearly there is a problem! Customer support is useless so I'm done with Soundcore. I’m buying a clock by another brand. Buyer beware.

Works great (except sleep data doesn’t work). The app is pretty easy to use, and connects quickly every time to the A10 sleep buds. The UI is a little confusing but once you figure it out it’s fine and easy enough to navigate. I thought I’d use music mode more often, but find that I use sleep mode almost exclusively, and it does help to fall asleep. The one negative is that the sleep data is extremely inaccurate. It shows sleep time past the time of day that it currently is (for example, it will show that I slept through to 8am even if it’s still only 4am - it’s as if it’s predicting what I’ll sleep and not actually tracking it). That said, while that would be nice to have, it’s not a must-have by any means, as there are other devices specifically made for that if you want something more detailed.

New update cost me my job. I have the Soundcore wakey and I’ve been using it as an alarm for work. My alarms were all set but none went off and i lost my job. This only happened after the new update (around feb 15th). I was able to recreate it one more time so I know it’s the app’s fault, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. Also the app now opens into the discovery music stuff instead of the actual settings for the wakey which I find crazy. The purpose of the app is too control the device so why make things harder

Flare 2 needs startup/shutdown sound option in app. I have the Flare 2 speaker. Awesome sound, love the lights, and EQ sound customizations (in the app). But the speaker+app desperately need a way to either lower the startup and shutdown sounds volume, or disable them - the latter preferably. Seriously- it causes bad problems when listening late at night around other people. It is significantly louder than normal music or podcast listening and with tons that will wake the dead. For the sake of my relationship please create an in-app setting for this.

Great start then faded. First, love the buds - best solution for sleep by far. 5*. The app though is problematic, it gets 2*. Started ok (4*) but recently (now 1*) the company released an update that simply will not load - tried 6 times with different Wi-Fi and buds in and out of charger - each time gets to 99% then fails (with no reason - just fail to load message). In addition, it now launches a “loading music” work stream immediately upon opening, which takes 10 minutes, can’t be stopped, and is pointless (I don’t want anything loaded, but it’s impossible to unselect.). I’ve deleted and reloaded the app a few times, all unchanged. I RECOMMEND NOT USING THE APP - you don’t need it for the buds to work perfectly, and it will save a lot of time and angst.

Declining. I’ve had my Wakey for a little over a year now. It’s worked for for the past year. Here recently I haven’t been able to play white noise through app without it being really staticky. Sometimes the speaker will cut itself off and back on and reenable Bluetooth while my phone is laying on the table without me using it. It also seems to go in and out like a bad Bluetooth connection. I’ve tried restarting, resetting, leaving it unplugged and I’ve contacted Soundcore about it and they aren’t really being much help without me having the receipt for the device I bought over a year ago from Walmart. Can’t say I’ll be buying anymore Soundcore products soon.

Problema with Bluetooth. I bought an IPX7 portable speaker and most of the time I use it to listen to my music, sometimes my wife uses it and connects her phone to the speaker, but when I am using it and she is also at home my phone disconnects and the speaker it starts playing whatever she does on her phone like typing or talking on the phone, sometimes i just fast forward the song and my phone connects again with the speaker but after about 10 seconds it happens again, my phone disconnects and connects her's. I have other Bluetooth speakers and it doesn’t happen with any of them. Is there anything i can do to fix it? I don’t want to get rid of it.

Spatial audio related. All the features are great! However, as a soundcore liberty 4 owner, the piercing high frequency on this thing is bad. I managed to fix it through custom hearID. Can you add a feature that enables our custom hearID profile to be used in spatial audio instead of (maybe soundcore signature) sound profile. So that the piercing highs can be tamed. I don’t use the feature due to some instances it will cause high frequency to hurt my ears when using spatial audio. Overall I like what you’ve done in the app. Continue innovating and improving! I love the sound signature!

More premium sound options, please?. I enjoy listening to both my speakers and my LifeTune headphones however… Why are there are no options for Spatial Audio and the equalizer is limited to tune bass frequencies that aren’t appealing? When I first used the app, several years ago, I could have sworn the bass frequency started at 60 or 70Hz, when I downloaded the app a couple of years later, it starts the bass tuning off at 100Hz. A little lack-luster… Though both my speakers and headphones sound awesome and the noise cancellation options on the LifeTune are excellent, there’s a certain drawback when listening to Dolby Atmos enabled songs, I know they’re not true Dolby Atmos capable, but some spatial adjustments would be more than welcomed. Otherwise, I really enjoy the app it is just the lack of some key features that make it not worth the hassle…

App Glitch. I’ve had my Wakey for a few years now and absolutely love it, I use the white noise feature every night and the alarm when I need it. My only complaint is that for the past few weeks there’s been a glitch in the app. When I go to set up an alarm and select at what interval I want the snooze to happen, instead of it showing the options properly (5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.) it’s just gibberish. Luckily it doesn’t effect the functionality and I’ve used it for so long that I already know which bubble to tap, but I hope there’s a fix soon.

Soundcore is a Great Product , in my opinion the sound is better than my AirPods 1-2 .. The Soundcore Sport Air were left in my pants on laundry day. They got a full heavy duty wash and a heavy duty dry . I’m not gonna lie they were super hot when I took them out and didn’t work that day. I totally forgot about them for 2 weeks and decided to upgrade to the Liberty 2 since I thought my Sport Air were done. 2 weeks later I found them in my travel bag and decided to charge them just one more time hoping they would work .... they did charge !! :D I charged them fully and at the moment I’m using them lol , this shows how tough this earphones really are. I love them and would prefer them over AirPods !!

Great Product, one HUGE flaw. The Wakey is a great product. Fast charging, incredible sound, extra USBs... There is one REALLY annoying issue with the Soundcore app. The Superior Sleep function has 11 sounds playing at once. With slide bars you can turn the individual sounds louder and softer but with my iPhoneX/ios13.3, the sounds do NOT turn off completely! All 11 sounds are playing at once. There are annoying bugs and birds in the background that I don’t want to hear -but there is no way to turn them completely off. I have the “wind” and “fan” sounds turned up all the way, (white noise) but you can still hear the other 9 sounds behind them that have the bar all the way off. A VERY annoying issue but one that could be easily fixed in an update.

Awesome!. I have P20i soundcore earbuds and I LOVE them. I got the app because someone told me there was an app and I’m impressed. You can listen to stuff and even make your own white noise! There sort of noise canceling but not 100%. My earbuds connect immediately when I take them out of the case and they also seem to never lose battery (there 70% percent and I’ve been using them for 20+ hours without charging them) there is some credit thing where you earn credits for rewards and stuff but I don’t really know what it is. I know that you can get like discounts from it and stuff by doing task but I’m not sure if the tasks reset.

Anker Soundcore Select Pro. I had this speaker I recommended if you want bigger bass will this Bluetooth speaker can be used at outdoor or indoor used and it has a amazing sound also it does have a EQ so you can customize your sound by using soundcore app also it is a waterproof speaker with IPX7 rating this Bluetooth speaker plays around 16hours of playtime and with RGB lights that are located on both sides speakers they sync with the music. Warning this app only can work with soundcore products

Fabulous but needs more option for budget earbuds. Right now I have the soundcore life dots 3i (a3i) and I just feel like the app is great with all these amazing features like eq and whatnot. It would be helpful though if there was more feature to these earbuds than just eq and noise cancelling settings. Maybe a find my like feature would be useful and stuff like that but other than that this app is a 100% from me! Definitely will buy more soundcore products.

The best charger/clock/sound system you can get. My son bought the clock for me for my birthday. Greatest present ever. The sound is clear, full and it pairs with my phone so I can listen to my music. The clock /charging feature is amazing. I was going through charging cords every few months. Now I set my phone on top of the clock and it charges quickly. No drawbacks to this product. I love it and highly recommend it.

Over all good but there are bugs. The app works great with there product the “sport x10” but I ran into one bug so far. When trying to change the controls I found that I cannot change the single click options for L or R ear buds. I can change the double click or long hold functions but not for the single click. I was not able to report this but via the App Store and their website did not have a clear way to report it so here I am leaving a review instead.

Why should I need a magnifying glass?. When I connect to my A20 earbuds, the app opens the screen in dark mode. This is fine. The app is used at night. But much of the text is real small, and, worst, is dark gray against the black background! I’m supposed to be able to read this? Then if I go to My Library and select Custom, the word Custom is legible, but all the sound icons are gray and their names are again dark gray against a black background with a maybe 3 point font! It’s not all bad. Detecting when I go to sleep and automatically switching to Sleep Mode works. Creating custom sleep sounds allows for good combination of sounds (after the update that added a better selection of sounds). Its report on how I slept is interesting. The A20 earbuds themselves work fairly well with an occasional issue. Specifically, on occasion when I’m going to sleep laying on my right side, the left earbud will keep disconnecting and reconnecting while in Bluetooth mode. And the right earbud will also drop out. This makes it harder to get to sleep. Then there’s been a couple times I wake up in the morning to no sound. I checked the batteries and they still have charge. Don’t know what is wrong. When everything works, the system is fine, but …

Love the Earbuds, But YOUR APP CANNOT FIND THEM HALF THE TIME. I love my Soundcore NC4 earbuds. I've recommended them to multiple people. But this app pisses me off. So often I will have the earbuds paired and connected to my phone, and I will open the app to change the settings for my earbuds, and the app will say "Pair Your Device Using Bluetooth." IT IS PAIRED. IT IS CONNECTED RIGHT NOW! IT IS LITERALLY *THE* ACTIVE BLUETOOTH CONNECTION ON MY PHONE. When you fix this extremely annoying bug that massively hinders the functionality of my earbuds, you will get 4 or 5 stars from me. Because again, the earbuds are great. And when the app works, it does exactly what I need it to do. But a ridiculous amount of the time, it straight up does not work. I hope your devs will reply when you've fixed this issue, and I'll happily update my review when that finally happens.

When does the space a 50 coming out,. wants better ear tips even better sound dont need it to pause when removed that will keep the cost down, hear id, better noise cancellation, and a set of the same specs with hooks for not falling out i could get basically what i am describing from Jlabs but i prefer soundcore, keep the battery life the same or increase somewhat ( the 50 hours is totally fine) love the app too, the best eartips are silicon covered over memory foam I buy them from a 3rd party for my sony wf-5000 earbuds, last though maybe just a wing attachment to help keep in ears but thos tend to get lost, love the find ur device feature, basically keep them the same maybe improved sound quality (which is great) , keep the bud battery life the same probably not having “pause when removed” ( dont need it just drains the battery) and fit is probably the biggest issue they stay in but as soon as ur moving around one falls out, memory foam covered in silicone is the best eartips ive ever used the passive noise cancellation is excellent i rarely have to turn on anc unless its reaally noisy, i prefer the in ear bud tips for that passive sound cancellation and i have earings so over the ear isn’t an option for me and i get better sound with the in ear options ( when they fit) love ur stuff i have gone though tons of different earbuds im not a stem style guy no apple airpods for me though im all Apple user

Functional but irritating glitches. I have a pair of space a40s. Most of the time the app does not recognise when they are paired to my phone via bluetooth or not. I’ll pair them in settings first, then listen to music. If I open the app later, it’ll often tell me that my earbuds are not paired (which is not true) and I should go to settings. I click on the button that takes me to bluetooth settings and then immediately return to the app. Only then am I able to access settings like turning on and off noise cancelling/transparency mode. It’s a waste of 10-15 seconds of my time each time and I don’t think that time should be wasted. Otherwise clean and comprehensible interface.

Great, but one more feature would be perfect. I have the Soundcore Wakey and it’s easily the best bedside alarm clock ever made, especially for smartphone users. However, it’s missing one thing that would make it perfect - an Apple Watch app. This way, you could run its audio through your Apple Watch Bluetooth rather than your iPhone. For example, my wife goes to bed before me and wants the sound machine on, which I run through this phone app. But then that means I cannot run any other audio from my phone. I’d like to, for example, watch Netflix with my AirPods before I fall asleep, but it auto runs through the Wakey. If I change the Bluetooth output to my airpods, I can’t run the sound machine any longer. Are there any plans in a future update to fix this issue without having a dedicated device solely to send audio to the Wakey via this app? An Apple Watch might be an easy workaround?

Sleep sounds are hard to find. Okay I finally found sleep sounds by looking through the help guides and switching to Bluetooth mode. I’d recommend always showing the sound library tab with an empty state explaining that you need to switch to Bluetooth mode to access the sleep sounds library. There’s your free UX consultation, you’re welcome. UX of the app aside, I really love my sleep headphones and the option to customize sleep sounds.

Good app useful but needs some updates. The app is useful I like how you can tweak the EQ settings for the earbuds, adjust the controls for each bud (Liberty 3 Pro) switch ANC modes etc. but it’s far from perfect & needs the following improvements: - Using too much space to show images of the buds/case/battery levels etc, so that needs to be smaller & they can use the added space to add some of the most used controls to the first screen rather than having to tap “More Settings” to access ie. Device list/Multi-point menu etc. - Need the ability to swipe/long press, etc to delete old devices from the Device List section. - Liberty 3 Pro - This may not be app related but we need voice indicators when we change ANC modes from the buds directly. i.e. long press a bud & a voice says “Noise Canceling” or “Normal” rather than just hearing a tone play. Cheaper earbuds have this.

Edit. **edit** It works now! Thanks to the developers for quickly addressing the issue, the ability to change the lighting options and the equalizer are great functionalities that I greatly appreciate I don’t know why my last review won’t show, but I’d genuinely like to know why the app isn’t working for me. It won’t even let me in, only takes me to a black screen and then boots me to my homepage. I love my speaker and would like to see the functionalities the app has, but I can’t do that if my concerns aren’t addressed...

Widget use. This used to be a very easy app with a legacy widget to use. However over the past few months the widget no longer works. It reads unable to load. I’ve uninstalled, restarted my phone, reinstalled, and it worked for a few hours but no longer. This is very handy to switch between indoor and outdoor noise cancellation. I’ve tried contacting support through chat but it is only a bot so I guess I will need to call soon. I hope that a resolution for this will be fixed soon or a new Homescreen widget will be developed soon.

Great Value. I purchased Soundcore Life Q30 headphones based on CNET review and price which seemed like a deal when compared with Bose noise canceling alternative. My Q30’s just arrived and they appear to be a quality product and easy to pair. It took me a little longer because I didn’t notice my iPhone was already paired to my Apple ear buds, the pairing problem went away immediately after returning the buds to their case. I’m a wood worker want-to-be, so ear buds are not a good option when working with my table-saw and other power tools. Headphones are safer and more effective when noise reduction technology really works. Haven’t used them yet in my woodworking shop (garage) yet, but they are very lightweight, and the sound is excellent. Will update my review after a day of wood shop.

Great App just a couple snags in the latest update. Gotta say tho I’m pretty disappointed in the newest update:( it deleted all of my custom EQ settings for the Life Q30s and every time I try to recreate my settings, it boots out and resets to default every time and every time I attempt to create new EQ presets, it deletes previous made ones, furthermore every time I attempt to relabel my EQ settings, it boots out and deletes my labels. Hope this gets fixed in a later update as well as the ability to switch between light and dark mode

Amazing Product wish the lighting effects had more customization. I absolutely am in love with my soundcore speaker. The app is a breeze to use. The speaker has amazing sound quality and the added lights are a wow factor at parties. My only wish is the light feature could be more customizable. Don’t get me wrong the presets are fun but I wish there was more or the ability to some what customize the light show. Other than that I love the product and the app. Thank you!!

Not too impressed.. It's a simple app and I can stand that. Although any pair of soundcore headphones you own have to be connected to access and use your eqs instead of having it saved or selecting your own default, which is a bit if a hassle. I love the ease of setting your own eq, and you can hear and learn the difference instantly. But here's a roadblock i've run into that make the app a pain as if late. For some odd reason, although connected to bluetooth and your device may recognize it's connected, the app will stay searching and never recognize your headphones. I own Soundcore's Q35 pair of headphones, and maybe it's just this pair with the app, but it's become a recent and frequent issue I just can't tolerate, as the default eq is the worst (In my opinion.) The default eq should be able to be changed to whatever your preference is, honestly. I hate to depend on the app for that simple comfort that makes having spent upward 100+ dollars on the product worth it.

Headphone Better than App - App no so good and not necessary. Earbuds have proven well. Normal issues where one earbud does not last as long as the other. As for the App, it is not very reliable. Connection is not immediate, often taking several tries. Constantly sticks with ‘Retry’ as it cannot connect even though headphones/earbuds are connected and in full use. Even had times where entire life of earbud is used and app never connects. In all cases, phone is sitting on my desk not more than 6 inches from earbuds. When the app works, there are some cool features but they have rendered themselves useless since just connecting to the app is such an effort. All the updates to the app still have not solved this issue. It does not make sense how this simple Bluetooth connection fails connection of the app while the equipment is working fine. Coding needs to be looked at again and refined.

Great app. One question. Edited: I love this app and the headphones I have. I have the Life P3’s and use them as much as possible. Because of that, they sometimes get lost. And I searched up how to find a missing headphone, and it says to do the find my headphone feature on the app. My question is where is that feature? Other than that this app is great and I highly recommend it. Turns out I found you had to turn on the earbud to use it so it isn’t a help of the one that is lost is dead, and also when I pressed the button to make it have a loud noise play I don’t hear anything, even when I put the earbud in my ear I don’t hear a single sound. Is there something that I’m doing wrong? Or is it a problem that needs to be fixed. If so please fix it.

Soundcore 2 refuses to connect to app. I’ve noticed a trend with my Anker devices (two Euphys and the Soundcore 2). None of them have been easy to pair with the app, even with following precise instructions. Every time, I’ve had to uninstall everything and reinstall multiple times to get the devices to recognize the app. In this case with the Soundcore 2; I have the speaker, I have the app. The speaker is sitting in front of me, happily paired with my iPhone via Bluetooth, and has great sound. However, I’d like to try to adjust a few things and for whatever reason, the equalizer in the iPhone is really only relevant (usable) in the Apple Music app (eew). Thus, my desire to use this app. This app -completely- refuses to recognize the speaker. Speaker is hooked up to Bluetooth, it’s paired with the phone, everything is great—but as far as the app is concerned, the speaker doesn’t exist. Trying to set it up manually only adds to the frustration, as the app continually refreshes (on its own) and still fails to find the speaker. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled; I’ve rebooted the phone, rebooted the speaker, forgot the device, reconnected several times now with no dice. Pointless. I’m off in search of a more reliable, user/device friendly app.

Great app, not necessary. This app is great, it did everything it said it would do. I particularly liked it because I could change the setting (noise canceling vs transparency vs normal) very easily. I could do that with the touch controls on the earbuds, but it was hard to know what setting I was on. My only problem was that the app was formatted for an iPhone, so it looked kinda strange on my iPad. It is just a little thing, but it annoys me every time I use it. This app definitely makes things such as controls and custom sound quality easier, but you would do just fine without it.

Soundcore 3. I have the 3s and even two years later they're still loud jammin and can even hear the base as if they are still brand new. The noise cancellation on these things is fabulous. I can't hear literally anything to the point I have to only wear one headphone when crossing the street etc. Funny because I also own airpods the small white ones and I do not remember them ever being this crisp let alone after owning them a while.

Great app but. The app is overall awesome but there is one minor detail. I have a flare + and had it connected to my iPad. Then I downloaded the Soundcore app and tried pairing it in the app. I selected the flare series and when it brought that up, it says flare and under it says connect. I assumed it meant all the flares (flare mini, flare, flare+, etc). When I tapped the connect button, it loaded for a while and said error. I tried everything and it still didn’t work. Then I looked at the reviews and I learned you have to swipe to choose your model. After that, it worked, but it is still very confusing. I think there should be arrows or something indicating that you have to select your model. That is my only issue so far.

Destroyed by latest update. Since the update, my alarm and white noise functions no longer work. The app is unnecessarily been updated but now I’m receiving constant glitches

Couldn’t get app to connect. Headphones work but I wanted to use the app to adjust sound. App would not connect with my headphones. Tried support and fixes given but still couldn’t connect

Request.. Please create a widget. I have the soundcore 4 and wakey - it’d be great to access them by widget, check battery levels, switch modes and view stats etc..

Ability to add multiple custom EQ profiles. Multiple custom EQ profiles would be nice. The default profiles are okay but doesn’t really fit my preferred EQ for certain moods.

Widgets. Overall really happy but missing the widgets since ios18!! Will these return?

Basic In a Good way. It has all basic needs for a headset app like this one. All functions work smoothly with cheap prices for good headsets.

Works but... not quite 5 stars. I use this app with the Powerconf speaker (which is a great conference speaker by the way!). I only wished it would display the battery percentage in the Soundcore app as well.

Too much blue. Using an app to get to sleep but too much use of blue when I need to reduce blue light. Also, why can’t I just have a constant white noise. Or setup a playlist that can be played with one click rather than navigating through menus just to get to sleep.

Sleep recording doesn’t always work. .

Great start but could use device battery widgets and a size reduction. Surprisingly good app for managing your Anker headphones. Would love to see them build on this with a battery widget for setting their charge levels similar to the Apple AirPods widget. Only complaint would be the absurd install size, over 300mb! I’d encourage the devs to try using efficient image compression and minimising the additional assets included in the package as there’s no reason a simple device manager app should be this huge, especially one targeting budget users who are likely to have devices with the minimum storage options.

Volume issues.. The app is fine, does why it’s supposed to do. The only thing that needs fixing is that the volume numbers don’t move up proportionally with the actual volume level. My example is my Morion + Bluetooth speaker is connected to my Samsung projector and at level 38, you can’t quite hear what people say, but at 39 it jumps up too loud. There is no happy-medium as from 39 upwards, it obviously gets louder proportionally. And from 38 downwards, that works too. Can you please fix this issue and then get the 5 star review you deserve. Thanks 🙏🏻

Works great. Been using for about a month and had no problems with it. The app does what it’s supposed to do. It allows you to alter preset equaliser settings or it allows you to mess around with them yourself if you want. You can also change your noise cancelling noises from it. I like about 80% wind noise and 20% rain, but there is a lot of options.

Ok. These headphones are ok, quite disappointed with the noise cancellation. I bought a cheaper pair of headphones for my partner and they are much better and fit more comfortably.

Update for volume pls?. I got the liberty air 2 yesterday and really enjoy them. They are nearly perfect, except for one minor thing - I find the volume increases too much from the lowest volume to second lowest volume. My hearing is quite sensitive, and in a quiet environment I feel like that jump in volume is hurting my ears. Can the soundcore team resolve this and update the earbuds thru the app? Really appreciate that.

Mr John C. I’m impressed with the sound quality and the overall quality of the Soundcore Motion + it’s excellent value and out performs more expensive units I’ve heard. Also the app is great 👍

You are the product. So Anker expect me to pay them for a product designed to scrape my personal data which they monetise and profit from. None of this information was on the headphone product page.

Liberty air 2’s connect to my phone but not to the app.... First of all, the earbuds connect just fine to my phone. i can listen to music and such. but i can’t seem to connect them to the app itself. which is a bummer because the app was one of the reasons why i bought these

Bare Minimum of what I expected. The app looks like it has been untouched since 2012 with one notable feature being the custom noise cancelling being a slider that goes around in circles with no markings or actual effect on the headphone whatsoever. Other than that it has a couple ok eq and tip fit features but that doesn’t really excuse the early 2010s interface (iPhone/iPad scale button in the corner rather than just working as well as being really narrow on an iPad even if you do expand it) and the uselessness of the noise cancelling settings. With the resources this company has it is just shameful that they ended up making this instead of some half decent app.

Sound of heaven!. The most amazing speakers!! You really do an awesome work, thanks for the amazing sounds and app to equalizer.

Okish. Easy to use app, pretty basic. The sleep sensor doesn’t really work (not sure if hardware of app that’s the issue) it tends to just which to sleep mode if you’re still for a little while which can be a bit annoying). Started off better and seems to have gotten worse over 2 years so maybe updated to app not causing the issue.

Beautiful Interface. Very easy to use app. Did update the software and was very easy to do.

Headphone icon still connected. After disconnecting my Bluetooth headphone. The headphone icon on my top right of my iPhone SE (2022) still appears. It appears to be a glitch with the app. Please fix this glitch then a five-star review would be warranted.

Low quality sounds. The sound selection for sleepbuds is surprisingly poor. The sounds are all low quality and mono. Hardly immersive. Please update with better sounds or allow us to use our own to transfer to the sleepbuds.

Not support all their products. Worst earphones I've ever bought

Soundcore. Doesn’t work sorry

Connectivity issues. Sometimes the app can’t detect if a device is connected when it is, but other than that is very nice

Broken app. Randomly it decides to drop the connection, and in an ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING DESIGN DECISION then decides to replace the “Connect” button with a “View sleep history” button that COMPLETELY FORBIDS you from actually reconnecting the headphones. Terrible buggy broken app software.

A gigabyte?. Why on earth does this app need to take up a gigabyte of my storage? With meditation audio I never asked for,... And an AI bot for tweaking settings in a pair of earphones? Come on. An AI bot built in to an app for tweaking audio settings. This is bloated nonsense.

It’s okay. It works, but putting ads into the app is crazy. I mostly want to change the dual connections settings, wish there is a faster way to do that; having ads just need more taps.

Sport X10. Got these after trying the A20i & Life A3i but found they wouldn’t stay in my ears unless I twisted them so they locked in causing me much pain, then I came across the Sport X10 with the hook over the ear part and WOW what a difference- the interface with the app is really good. Hope you add more features so that the X10 can be adapted to perform even better.

Not working as it should. App acts differently between devices. Phone ok, iPad not 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s not user friendly.

Frustrated. Sadly the app doesn’t deliver as expected. The latest update to sync with the new A30 has impacted on the sleep report and won’t sync and provide accurate data. Have reached out to Anker and no reply. Also irritated that earphones does not last 9hours as advertised and promoted. When placed in ear at 10pm, I wake up 6:30 and it’s completely flat. And to make matters worse, it doesn’t show my sleep report 😡

Issues connecting to sleep buds. Buggy app, phone needs to be restarted to connect every night ? I press connect and it keeps going to sleep data.

Just need basic functionality but size too big. I just need an app to manage basic headphone settings, but this app is getting bulkier and bulkier. Please make extra function optional or have a lite option, I’m on the verge to uninstall every time my phone runs out of storage and this app is at the top of storage list

Widget issue. The ios widget doesn’t refresh itself after connecting or disconnecting the earbuds, it defeats the purpose of a widget if i have to go to the app for it to recognise that the buds are connected.

Works GREAT. Beautiful just a masterpiece

Love it 😍. Great app!!

Stuck in LE. Whatever update this app did to my A20’s has bricked them, they are stuck in LE and there is no way to undo it, can’t play audio or anything through them. I am furious

Swapped out my AirPods for these. Haven’t looked back.

Life Dot 2 NOT SUPPORTED. Bummer!

Ads in a product I paid for. There are now ads on the app that you use to change sound settings. Ads that you have to wait to skip. This is the last soundcore product I buy. Terrible treatment of customers

Doesnt pair. I do the steps but everytime it just says connecting the device js would not pair please fix this issue

Great. Great sound and adaptability in noisy environments

“4 second” Ad. Opened up the App to an automatic 4 second, unskippable Ad that stopped at 0…then wouldn’t let me do anything else. I’d say a horrible update to get me to use your products ever again in the future.

Soundcore liberty 4nc. Works great, the sound and noice cancelling work great

Really ads?????. This is so annoying, every single time that I open the app will show me and ad … last time that I bought a product from them

Why do I need this. I bought ear buds for my computer. Why do I need the phone app to update them or see their charge?

Charging issue happened since the last update.. My A20 can't charge to 100%. This is weird…before the latest hardware update it worked just fine. Now no matter for how long I put them in the charge box, both earbuds can only be charged to 80%

Failed to claim warranty on app. I’m encountering problems with my Soundcore headphones. To claim warranty, we need to upload proof of purchase, but the crashed button (infinite spinning wheel animation) prevents us from doing so.

Broken Widget. Fix your widget being blank even the app is open and headphones connected

Not connecting properly. After this update my sleep headphones are connected to my phone by Bluetooth but the app doesn’t seem to connect to them so then I don’t have access to my alarms and sounds and things.

Connecting doesn’t work. I use the app for my boom v2 and it worked for a while but for some reason the app no longer recognizes that my phone is connected to the speaker and won’t let me change any speaker setting Im not sure what the problem is I’ve tried disconnecting the speaker closing the app nothing will work

Awesomeness 😜😜. This speaker is amazing and the bass WOW!!! This speaker should be way more expensive for the sound that comes out of it and build quality and material is TOPS u will not be disappointed …just go and buy it

Very good. It feels like luxury

Doesn’t connect. No matter what I do the app does not connect to my earbuds and even trying to set up manually doesn’t work because my earbuds aren’t even on the app for some reason despite having “soundcore” on the box and telling me to download the app in the manual, making it completely useless.

Useful for someone with misophonia. I had to get earbuds with an EQ app. This one was perfect as it lets me customize frequencies to help with my misophonia. Only negative is that the ear buds don’t connect automatically to the app.

Overbloat. Not device resolution, trying to do too much in one app, and at over 850MB it's the largest app on my iPad. Buyer's regret.

9.75/10. The bestest bested besting best app

What is this scam app. I can’t pair my soundcore p2 bad app do not use if you have a soundcore p2!

Has A.I. now. Get A.I. out of the app.

Unskillae ads in the un-updated app? Here is your 1 star review.. I have bought 3 pairs of your headphones. Forcing me to wait to use the app like this is youtube is gross. Tread carefully.

Can’t update firmware. Glitch in app.. Brand new Space A40 earbuds connected to my iPhone 17 Pro Max without any issue and music playback works perfectly. But the Soundcore app refuses to update the firmware. Every time I try updating, it briefly shows the firmware update screen and instantly redirects to a “Connect via Bluetooth” page even though the earbuds are already connected and working. Tried everything: • Forgetting and reconnecting device • Resetting earbuds • Restarting iPhone • Reinstalling the app • Pairing through the app itself • Charging earbuds and case fully Nothing fixes it. Very frustrating experience for a brand new product. The app clearly has compatibility or firmware handshake issues with newer iPhones/iOS versions.

Frustrating since the update. The app was ok, it did its job. Since the update it’s a chore to connect your peripherals to it. You can be connected through Bluetooth and the app wont connect.

Nice hardware, nice app, but…. A full page ad when starting the app? Really? I already have headphones. I wouldn’t be using this app if I hadn’t. And even more annoying, it pops right when you’re about to tap on a connected device icon to adjust the settings and opens a web browser when you accidentally touch anything else but the X button.

Useless AI. App works okay, sometimes a bit slow to pick up the model you have connected. Now for some reason this app has “AI”. Never did I think, what I need the most is AI in this app. Could have spent money and time on improving instead now it’s another data miner app.

AI assistant is so unnecessary. makes me want to not update the app

Worse than no app. Stops noise cancelling all the time. App fails to reconnect to earbuds even when connected to spotify and playing music. Earbuds are otherwise good but stop cancelling noise all the time and i will have to buy a different brand. I have tried all variants of Anker soundcore and they work great, until they pause noise cancelling and then you have to open this App!

Only one ear bud connects. Happens pretty frequently and is very frustrating. How many time should I reset to get them both to connect like they should automatically. And yes, they’re fully charged.

App. I got the sounflare mini, works great 10/10 speaker, the issue I have is with the app, it’s cool what you can control and I like the features but when I go to edit any of these things, like the lights or the equalizer I can’t go back to the main page I have to close the app and reopen it

So underrated. Honestly, you don’t need the name brand pods. These guys have it figured out for a fraction of the price and the quality to compete. Usually, the software is lacking for budget brands like Anker. But! Anker has that figured out too. Even more options than the name brands. Whether it is noise cancelling, ambiance setups, EQ or fading. This app has it all!!

Awesome. Beautiful compact mobile sound. Love it.

Fix. Can you fix how quickly the app recognizes it’s connected via Bluetooth. I feel like I’m waiting for ages to click on my audio profile when I open the soundcore app and wait more for it to recognize it’s already connected to the earbuds to click on my sleep audio library.

Poorly designed. This app is incredibly poorly designed. I have two pairs of Q20i headphones, but the app can’t understand that. In my list of devices it will only show the last one I connected to. I also can’t rename the devices.

Can’t use noise cancellation features anymore since update. Your new updated app sucks and I can no longer use the noise cancellation features on my soundcore headphones. Please get this fixed. The only reason why I bought these headphones was for the noise cancellation features…

Couldn’t be more useless. On day two of trying to create an account. Website verification never works. Bought headphones. Paid money. But they don’t know my email so can’t freaking use the fancy features. Waste of time and money!

App stopped working after update. App does not connect to my headphones after an update, even though they’re connected to my phone. Disappointed with Soundcore.

Amazing 😊. The sound quality is so good and the app is great 👍

It would be great if it would stay connected. When it works it’s great but mostly disconnects from the headphones and won’t reconnect so I deleted it. Useless app. Also can’t switch between different headphones as it keeps telling me to re-pair to Bluetooth. It’s a stupid app that gives no advantage.

Straight forward however. I use this app for my A30 sleep buds i find them take long to detect that the buds are connected and the other issue is my sleep report doesn’t sync with apple health. I am hoping future updates will add:enhance those two.

Never Loads. When the app opens, it displays an ad with a countdown. When the countdown reaches zero, it stays that way. There is no way to access any of the controls the app is supposed to provide. Rendering the app unusable by placing an unpassable ad in a spot that is completely inappropriate for advertising was an unfortunate choice on Soundcore‘s part.

Pop up ads. If you want people to use your app, stop the stupid pop up ads. I already bought your product! I’ll buy something else next time.

844MB. How does a simple headphone app turn into 844MB monstrosity on my phone? As a developer, I find the bloat unacceptable.

Ai garbage. Why does this new update take full control of my headphones any time I open the app? Can’t make any adjustments while using them with another device. The app was great before this, no reason to add ai to what is essentially an equalizer

No touch capability. These will be going back as there is no customizable touch controls available in the app. That information should have been made clear in the product description. Very disappointing.

Great eq feature. As an audio engineer I rly enjoy the eq feature in the app, more speakers and headphones need eq customization(not a 3 band tho)

Warranty Claim Feature Faulty. App will not let you upload your proof of purchase. The icon just keeps turning until it resets

Not working well after latest app update. Loved using the ear buds for months then after the latest app update. They keep disconnecting from Bluetooth. I have to reset in the middle of the night, they also keep going to sleep mode with rain back ground. I keep having to shut this horrible feature off, every night. Not sure what to do, not happy with them anymore.

Bloat ware. The App is now around 850 megs. On a phone with 64 gigs it is too much. They seem to have integrated AI. I have only a pair of earbuds connected that use the APP. There is no justification of an APP of the size for that kind of use. Are they hidding something in the app for AI learning. I never sign anywhere for that kind of use.

Top-tier. Using with Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds. A lot of thought went into this system. Great sleep quality improvement. Really happy with this purchase

Need a Lite Version. The app does what it’s supposed to do quite well. However, those of us just wanting it to control the headphones we purchased would like a lite version that does just that. No need for a product catalog and yet another AI hand in our pockets making us need more storage for unwanted self-promotion and excessively redundant features.

Great for changing colors an eq. I like how this app lets you change the eq settings and even make a custom one if you want also the color options are you endless I wish they had this app for my Soundcore earbuds only improvement I can suggest is to be able to pair speakers and change the colors on each speaker because I currently have 2 of these that I pair for party’s it’s like surround sound but I’d love to be able to have 1 in chill mode eq and the other in party mode for different rooms but idk good app overall

Navigation & options limited. You definitely need app in order to sync two speakers. However the app seems limited in functionality like turning off the speakers. I just tried to turn off in app and music started playing. To be honest I’m confused how to turn off speakers from the devices. Good thing- Once I synced the two speakers it’s been consistent. Other than turning units on/off I’m pleased. Hope this helps!

Great app with right tweaks. I have the Q45s Even with the ability to create your own sound with the equalizer, it never sounded full. If you use the factory set equalizer, it seems like it’s missing something too. I found that if I use the factory set equalizer and do the bass boost, it gives me the best sound for watching movies and music. I really wish they had an app for Apple TV. That way I can do the same when watching it on the big TV.

great headphones but won’t connect to app. love these headphones. the only problem i have is they will not pair with the soundcore app, despite the headphones being connected to my phone already. i’ve tried forgetting the device and connecting it again, the manual connect and deleting reinstalling/updating the app. i tried last december, and now i’m trying again and it still doesn’t work. i’m confused. i have the soundcore life Q20

Really Good. I use the app for Liberty 3pro and Motion Boom +. It has hearing 🆔 for the earbuds which is a hearing test and as a result a custom EQ tailored to specifically to your audio range (frequencies you can hear). This among a LOT of other EQ options. You can also make your own EQ’s and save them. For the Motion boom speaker you have EQ settings including savable custom. Power speaker “off” from phone, battery remaining. The Motion Boom + is an incredible speaker BTW.

Great EQ variety, but HearID test now broken.. I loved the individualized HearID EQ setting, but for some reason that now appears broken as the app plays the test tones at nearly six times their normal speed. Too fast to be effective. Also, the volume of the HearID test is lower on the Liberty 2 Pro than the Liberty Air 2. Thus with the Liberty 2 Pro, the app is able to discover my lower thresholds, but not with the Liberty Air2. So with the Air2 I don’t get the benefit of a custom EQ as the test isn’t sensitive enough.

Good start, needs a couple features. This is my first time having an app that does with earbuds. I’m using this with my VR P10 earbuds which work great with my Meta Quest 2. I love being able to set custom colors for the earbuds, but I wish there were more color options. I also wish this app had a Control Center widget or a Home Screen app widget so we have even quicker access to change EQ or lighting modes without having to go several clicks deep in the app.

Their app wants to connect your data.. I got their airbuds today and downloaded their app to control the airbuds. After reading their terms and agreement and other documents, I decided not to agree. I've paid for the airbuds and they make it seem like they are doing you a favor by letting you download the app to control their airbuds. Meanwhile, they will connect all sorts of data from your phone. The sound quality is fine without using their app. What I notice between their airbuds and Apple's AirPods is that I can hear myself breathing with their airbuds and other extraneous noises. If you remain perfectly still, you'll be fine.

Great sound!. I’m a earbuds junkie so I have a pretty good collection of trials and errors to let the grandkids use 😉 I also have an appreciation for all my Apple products. Always wanted a pair of Apple buds but can’t wrap my head around the price. With that said, I just got my Soundcore (Life A2NC) for around 65 dollars. The sound is awesome. The custom fit is excellent and very comfortable. For the price these are the earbuds you that will serve you best.

New version problems with Custom Equilizer.. There is a problem with the Custom equilizer option in the latest new version. When you set your Custom equalization curve and exit the app the graphic indicates that the settings are set to flat when you re-enter the app, even though it is still actually using the customized setting. The older version displayed the setting and the curve as defined previously.

Motion+ cuts stops playing. I’ve written about this issue before and its still not resolved after at least two updates. When multiple devices have connected, the speaker will stop playing one users music when another user gets a message and has sound notifications on. The music listeners player pauses and has to go the phone/device and unpause the music. The Motion+ should disconnect users once the Motion+ is powered down. Users can easily reconnect from their bluetooth function. This issue really makes this speaker subpar. Very disappointing.

No basic white/ brown/etc noise for Sleep?. Will return to update if support tells me I’m missing something- that’s right- i had to reach out to customer support to see if there’s really no white noise lol The fit on my A10s are great, and LOVE the idea behind them adjusting the volume & switching modes, but they might have to go back if there’s truly no basic sleep sounds to download from the soundcore app. I need to maximize battery life, and the volume doesn’t go low enough while listening to my usual sleep show…

Good headphones, good app, but…. I tried putting in my headphones to listen to music in the car, but I could only listen out of one headphone at a time. I tried everything, turning it off and back on, charging it, resetting it, nothing worked. I knew that both worked, the other earbud would make the sound when it was looking for something to connect to. Can someone help me fix this?

If you’re having issues on the latest version that added dark mode…. All you need to do is logout and back in! I lost my custom EQs after updating but after seeing a comment about logging out I tried it myself and it worked! After logging back in my custom EQs returned and work once again. App is a little slower to recognize connected device after this so also not the best update…

Very impressive-so far!. I just received it about an hour ago, and immediately plugged it in and paired it with my phone. Extremely easy to do ( I’m a technological Luddite), and the sound that emanated is quite impressive! I haven’t had the chance to soak it yet, but it seems very robust. All in all, a very nice speaker system at a very good price. I give it 5 stars out of 5. Plus, the app is easy to use. 👍

Only one speaker at a time. I have a pair of Flare 2 speakers and app works well to control either one. Unfortunately they both appear as Flare 2 so I don’t know which one is connected. Wish it could rename a device or use the device name I’ve assigned in the Bluetooth settings. Wish it could provide any info on devices connected to a master speaker with PartyCast or the other speaker when 2 are connected with Bluetooth.

Great!!! But one thing…. I just got the Life q30s and they are amazing, the app is super helpful and super easy to use. The one tiny tiny thing is that I wish that you could remap the button on the right can that lets you switch to transperancy mode, if I could make it so that it skips songs that would be amazing. I hope anker/ soundcore sees this because that would make these perfect.

Rave Neo Speakers. I love my speakers but trying to connect to the app is a battle I lose all the time. Even when following the directions AND uninstalling the app, forgetting the devices and retrying multiple times NOTHING works. Now my main speaker won't connect to the app at all. At this point I'll do without the stress of the app but I hope this issue will be fixed soon because the small amount of time the speakers worked with the app was great!

Needs a Transparency mode for Liberty Air 2’s. Liberty Air 2’s brags about the number of microphones on them, but fails to use them for an obvious feature, a variable transparency mode, come on Anker, you can do better! The Liberty Air 2’s do a good job at isolating sound with the ear tips, but it’s a pain to take them out all of the time at work to talk to people! Let some outside noise in if desired, and make it variable so music can still be played while this feature is used!

This application is horrible. 1. Looks horrible on my iPad Pro 12, looks like this app was designed only for iPhone? I can’t type on such small keyboard. 2. I did try select Live Chat in application built in Help. After filling initial screen with name, email and general message I pressed submit. Well instead of live message, message was send and got message that someone will get back to me? How is that live chat? I am actually waiting for a pidgin to bring me a message back. 3. I did selected live message to submit full message, knowing that this is not live message since I only provided short message for “live chat”. Now this field is limited to number of characters On positive side of things the hardware is very good. Application is horrible. Who whites this pice of art? For that reason I am giving one star. I will be glad to review again when application is fixed. No one in company did think about people with not so good eye sight? Ughhh

Another big data farmer. The idea you have to create an account to set your alarm clock is absolutely ludicrous!! I can’t see why they require an account to use the app unless they’re selling the data. And while the data might not be “linked” to you, it isn’t hard for someone with enough datasets to “link” it. Anytime I see these type of setups, I have to ask, is this product so cheap or this app/company so great that I’m willing to let them reap profits from me for as long as I use it?!?! My answer is decidedly “No”, I hope yours is too….

Please read…. I don’t own the new soundcore boom 2 plus and I don’t doubt that it sounds great but I hear people saying that some of the older speakers such as the Tribit StormBox blast and JBL boom box 3 sound better and have deeper lower bass. Jays straight up reviews said that he felt the soundcore boom 2 plus sounded muddy compared to the JBL boom box 3. Will soundcore do any sound updates to the boom 2 plus in the near future? I only own a soundcore motion 300 and for me, the bass is deep for the size of the speaker but the speaker just has too much distortion. The bass always sounds like it has some sort of lag to it and does not sound smooth. At least when I compared it to my JBL flip 6. I just felt my flip 6 had smoother bass. Thank You, Robbie Asghari

Soundcore flare 2. First off, this app is amazing and adds lots of features to the soundcore flare 2. Second, the soundcore flare 2 knocked my socks off. The quality is amazing both sound wise and build quality. The lights are vibrant and colorful, and the price is almost too good to be true. At the time I bought this speaker it was 50 bucks! It even outperformed my Bose sound link mini 2! Definitely an amazing product from Anker, and soundcore. Keep it up!

Soundcore. All products superior to peers, however have been unhappy for a year since purchasing Liberty Air 2 as they are shaped poorly and do not remain in ear. However the pro version fits as snug as a rug. The sound quality of the Liberty Air 2 as compared to similar items I’ve tried is superior as the Pro version is superior in all ways.

works but could work better. I have Soundcore P3s and like them quite a bit but this app could use some widgets to make it less annoying to switch modes. An Apple Watch complication would also be *amazing*. Always having to open the app and tapping several times to get to the controls to change things is needlessly tedious. Please do widgets for the home screen, lock screen, and the Apple Watch. Thank you!

Horrid app. App literally doesn’t work. I connected my earbuds to my iPhone, they are great. The app on the other hand is literal garbage. I connect the device as it says, it says it can’t find it and won’t sync to it. I’ve pushed forget device, restarted my phone, done everything it says and it doesn’t work. It tells me to turn the headphones on then off which I do, then connect to Bluetooth which doesn’t happen when the device is off, so I turn it on and it says searching, then retry cause nothing happens. Please fix this issue because it’s extremely frustrating to spend 100 dollars on something for the customization of audio settings and it not even work

Terrible. I feel as though I completely wasted my money. I purchased the Liberty Air Pro 2 a couple months ago. I frequently give up trying to use them. I spend 5 minutes or more trying to connect my headphones with my phone quite often. Half of the time when I do get connected with my phone only one of the earbuds will play. This app is won’t work for me more than 90 percent of the time. I’ll be listening to music on the earbuds and while trying to use the Soundcore app. The app will tell me it can’t find my earphones. Don’t waste your money like I did. Absolute junk is what I got. JUNK!!

Great Software for Great Hardware. Very intuitive application that allows you to configure and customize your earbuds. I currently have the Libery Air 2 and loving them ever since I got them. I'm able to customize my audio settings the way unlike it and it's been great so far. If you have trouble they have the help which I ended up using to reach out to pair my earbuds again. Would recommend for anyone that owns any Anker/Soundcore products!

Binaural Beats. I have the soundcore A20 which allows you load your favorite sounds directly onto the earphones. Please give us some binaural beats options to add in the sounds. They really help me to get more deep sleep. Im having to use another app using bluetooth to get them instead of having it preloaded on the device which degrades my battery life. 5 star headphones less one star for missing the binaural beats and one star for the feedback option in the app not working.

Anker liberty pro earbud’s. I have never writen a review on anything in life before but i love this earbud’s and this app, the app is great with many different choices of EQ and top producer’s preset EQ and the sound it is how music was ment to be heard, i wish the app could give more option’s on controlling the earbud’s dont get me wrong they do but more like control option’s on controlling earbud’s from the app but ill be buying nothing but anker soundcore liberty pro earbud’s ans other product’s 📱🎧🎼🎶🎶

Where has this beauty been all my life?. Simple, elegant and beautiful. Who knew an alarm clock could be so cool. Once you try it you’ll wonder why all alarm clocks are not this cool! Only downside, as others have said, brightness of display should be adjustable to a much lower setting. It can be a little distracting in your dark bedroom with it shining so brightly on your nightstand. Hopefully, a firmware update will address this issue.

Will not connect to earbuds if already on a call. If I pull my earbuds from their case to answer a call, the app will not recognize that the earbuds are connected so despite the Bluetooth connection and being able to use them, I cannot toggle between ANC/Transparency/Off and am stuck with whatever setting they are on. Once the call ends, I am able to connect and use the features. If the app connects to them first then it works as it should. I am using Liberty 3 Pro earbuds.

Hey soundcore, what are you doing with my information?. Explain why you don’t state that you are gathering and sharing my personal information on the “data collected” notification here in the App Store, but you are gathering my name, email, gender, weight, height, birthday, stress, heart rate, and my heart sensor data? Nowhere at all did I authorize that data to be collected and explain how that information won’t be used to identify me? And you reference quite a few things that make me feel very uncomfortable. Please do explain this to me. I will be following up with all of the appropriate authorities to ensure that this is all legal.

New update is horrible. The newest update changed the smart switch function. It used to switch from bluetooth mode to sleep mode. So for example, I could be listening to a book on bluetooth and then it would switch to my sleep sound when it sensed I fell asleep. Now smart switch just turns off the audio of whatever you’re listening to once you fall asleep. So if I fall asleep listening to a book, it just goes to silence which actually wakes me up. Please bring back the original smart switch function. Also, the new update requires you to put in both earbuds to access all the features. Very annoying.

How to use app w/out sign up. Click the “x” in the top left corner of the Account Creation page in the app to continue without creating an account/signing up. Also, why doesn’t ANC work with only one P3 earbud in? I can open the case and it starts canceling noise IMMEDIATELY, I don’t even have to take out the second earbud. It makes no sense, especially since you have the “Superior Sleep” function, meaning you expect people to be wearing these while in bed, and I don’t know about you, but it kind of hurts when laying on one’s side with an earbud PUNCTURING MY EARDRUM BECAUSE BOTH ARE NECESSARY TO USE THE NOISE CANCELLING! And yes, I hear you now “but why would someone need noise cancellation when one ear is completely unplugged and open to the world of sound?” To that I would retort, “a large sack of cotton or feathers pressed up against one’s head does a pretty good job of PLUGGING up that issue” Anyway, 10/10 otherwise. Would recommend.

Firmware update made things worse. I just bought LifeQ30. Loved the headphones, until I updated the firmware. Since the update, the sound keeps blacking out. This wasn’t an issue before the update. Super annoyed that something that was supposed to improve my experience made it worse. I’ll troubleshoot for a few minutes, and if that doesn’t the issue, I’ll have to return the headphones. I wish I went with the “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” approach and never installed this stupid app.

Seems like a nice speaker, APP doesn’t work.. We got the Flare speaker as a surprise gift and it seems like a nice little speaker. I downloaded the app and connected the speaker and I was immediately asked to update firmware on my speaker. I did that and when everything started back up I cannot get the app to see the speaker. I can stream music to it from my phone, but the app doesn’t work at all. UPDATE: After a recent app update (1.2.3), I still cannot get the app to connect with my speaker which easily connects to my iPhone and plats music. The fact that I can’t tune the sound or use any of the app features is beyond frustrating.

Somewhat disappointed. I really was looking forward to the widget. There is no widget and some of the ambient sound aren’t working. Thankfully I found one (birds) that is suitable. Unfortunately, the volume does not increase when I raise the sound of the birds. It’s the same throughout. The other working ambient sounds have variation in volume. Also, there were a few time when the ambient sounds cease to work if I am multitasking on my phone…not every time. It’s hit or miss.

Getting annoyed. My Bluetooth and headphones (Life Q20) are paired, but the app can’t find my device. I’d really like to adjust the EQ, because whatever the default settings are, the top end sounds tinny, and the only way to adjust the EQ is via the app. I’ve “forgotten” the device, and turned Bluetooth off. Turned it back on again, and re-paired my headphones, but the app still can’t find my device. I like how the headphones sit, and they are pretty noise cancelling, but what’s the point if you can’t stand the sound that’s coming from them?

It’s alright. Wish it showed the device’s battery percentage instead of a vague five-bar visual. Also, my custom button mapping is, without fail, reset after I pair my earphones to a different device and pair it to my phone again. It’s specifically the function for holding the button down—I mapped it to switch between “Transparency Mode” and “Noise-Cancellation,” but it keeps reverting to “Normal” and “Noise-Cancellation.” Kind of annoying. The Equalizer options don’t seem to change much as well.

Can’t connect to a speaker that is already connected. This app reminds me of the dreads Microsoft Teams. The device is connected to my phone. I am playing music to the device. The soundcore app’s reponse beeps are playing through the speaker. But the Soundcore app says that there is no device connected. I’ve always liked Anker, but seems that they are using the same failed device detection methods that prevent Microsoft teams from seeing and of the microphones or speakers already connected

App not connecting to flare+. Edited review: Changed to 4 stars from 1. I finally figured out to swipe left for more devices(needed flare+, not flare)after tapping flare series button. There needs to be an indicator to swipe right for more devices. Original review:The soundcore app can't find the flare+ when connected on an iPhone SE(ios 12.4.1). Simply says an error occurred and I really would like to see the led options. Flare+ works fine with my music app(sounds good too)..... so it's not a hardware problem. Buggy soundcore app.

Spring Fun. I just took it out of the box hooked it up to my Bluetooth and the sounds is perfect, and if you like base like I do along with the perfect amount of high tones this is the speaker to get. I am outside on my terrace listening to jazz and the sound quality is perfect. Download the app onto your phone and control your speaker from your phone. I recommend this speaker 100%.

iPhone Siri hands free voice activation addition?. Great app and headphones! Maybe add hands free Siri voice activation for headphones for if can’t get to iPhone or busy with our hands and can’t manually activate Siri while iPhone is inaccessible. I’m mostly busy and working with my hands and can’t press voice assistant function on headphones sometimes.

Latest update bugged. I love the earbuds and app, but the latest app update broke the sleep alarm functionality. You can no longer use the alarm feature and it causes the app to crash repeatedly. This is fairly critical since I need the alarm to wake up for work. Having to use an alternate alarm like haptics on my Apple watch to wake me up is frustrating. Please fix. Thank you! (Apple iPhone 15 Pro, latest iOS as of this review)

Something that really bothers me.. Please make an iPad optimized version for this app asap, I don’t like having to use the small phone layout on my iPad and would prefer to use a big layout made for the iPad. Also please add a loudness equalizer and reducer option, so I can comfortably listen to music thats mastered at very loudly at a high dynamic range, cause some music I listen to sometimes still hurts to listen to even on lower volume because of that.

Best company, best app!. I first got this app when I bought my first soundcore product which was a speaker. Now I have a few headphones as well and use them with the app. The best part about this app is that you can E.Q. it to specifically and exactly how you want it! Which makes a world of difference when your looking for a great sound. Thank you soundcore for making great products and a great app!!🙌
