Almost perfect. The app is absolutely what I needed to tune up this old WurliTzer piano. The only thing missing on this app is the fact that you cant slow down the speed of the tuner. Its so fast you cant read what is sharp or flat. If we could slow it down to our liking the app would be perfect.

BY FAR THE TRUEST! Why? Read Below.. Simple, short, sweet and ACCURATE. “Any” tuner will tell you if you’re tuned at EADGBE, but this tuner tells you the most important reading, at the 12th fret. I’m not putting down OTHER tuners in the App Store. It’s the FACT that other tuners DON’T show you EADGBE readings at the important 12th fret. Please, if there is another tuner that will show 12th fret readings, tell me. I have ONLY found THIS Pano Tuner. Believe me, it’s AMAZING!!

Very accurate tuner!. This is my go to app for tuning my guitars! I stopped using my clip on tuners because I find PanoTuner to be more accurate and fast! I know it has been out here for awhile but I am still amazed by the technology! Well done to the developers!

Better than all the rest. I play the guitar, harp, and kalimba, so I have tried out at least 6 tuner apps and this is the best. This one has a remarkable ability to figure out what sound it should listen to. Even when people are talking or the TV is on, it recognizes the sound of a harp string being plucked and it focuses on that. Like magic.

Beyond perfect. I was in a live band that was on stage 208 see year for years and we relied on a stroboscopic tuner which cost about three months rent, not counting the box you had to buy to carry it and otherwise it automatically was a warranty was dead and it take it to about five minutes to warm up and only one person could use it at a time, and it was perfect but this one is much better than that! Lol!

Essential for a 12 string guitar. This is by far the fastest and most accurate tuner I have tried. I can tune a 12 string in less than a minute and not a hear a single beat from the octave strings.

Best Tuner App. Highly reliable, consistent, easy to use, and accurate. It's replaced all of my tuning hardware (Korg, Boss, etc) and it even has unique features for music geeks such as 'Just Intonation'. I highly recommend it.

Easy. I am amazed at how easy this app is to use. I am a beginner Harp player; I have never tuned an instrument. I was amazed at how easy and accurate the app is to use. It can be used with any instrument. There is a lot of flexibility in the settings. My harp instructor and a professional pianist friend highly recommended this app.

Wonderful Tool. Keeping the 36 strings of my autoharp in tune was a long hard process using a pitch pipe. PanoTuner is easy to use, accurate, quick to react in real time, and makes what used to be a 15-20 minute job a five minute breeze. The best of any computer-based tuners I’ve tried. Highly recommended.

Good for voice also. I recently at 60 years old, decided that I wanted voice lessons. Learning pitch is very difficult for a non musician. I can practice pitch exercises and see how far I am off. Love this app

Annoying flaws on my iPhone. Though I’ve already upgraded, every time I launch the app goes to default settings and asks me to upgrade if I want to change temperament. When I go to the App Store and press the button it finally does launch the version I paid for with my settings This annoying I would also like to see pitch and temperament info on the app screen instead of having to check the settings page.

Simply Awesome. Once you get this app, you’ll probably never use your clip on tuners again. This thing is far more accurate, especially the iPad version.I’ll never use my clip on tuners again except where I absolutely cannot use this app.

Great with one request. I have used this for many years as an oboist and love how sensitive it is when playing in an orchestra. The only thing I wish for is a clock in the app - it would come in handy to keep track of time before giving the tuning A.

Cellowalla. I was using another tuner up until the last update, and then every time I played an A the tuner registered G for some reason? I’m very glad to have found this app which has no bad habits! Thank you!

Made tuning a breeze!. This tuner greatly simplified the process of tuning my piano. The tempraments are built in and selectable. A tuning hammer and a couple of rubber wedge mutes were all the tools I needed. I especially liked the feature that allows you to control the sensitivity of the cents indicator. Very intuitive and accurate!

Only Tuner I Use. I’ve FINALLY decided to upgrade and pay for the app because I realized the other day that I have been using this tuner all through high school, college, and post college. The app is very much worth $2 and am happy to pay and support the developers of the app.

All you need. I’ve tried a bunch of tuner apps and this is, by far, the best one I’ve found. The search is over. This is an extremely precise, chromatic tuner that works equally well for guitar, bass (including 5-string basses with low B), mandolin, ukulele and, presumably, anything else you need to tune. Well worth $2. Having used it for a few years, I definitely would’ve paid $5!

Does one thing and does it right. Great interface. Perfect for the task of tuning an acoustic guitar. It has a main scale, and a fine tuning scale. I’ve tried a lot of tuners on the App Store. Some have an interface that is too complex for the simple task of tuning a guitar. And some are too twitchy or are too sensitive to background noise. Reasonable price to get rid of the ads too.

GREAT APP. It is a great workhorse. Very quick and responsive. Seems accurate. The only thing it needs is to display the register of a note. For example display the register of middle C by displaying "4" on the display somewhere visible and large enough to see. Well worth the small purchase fee to eliminate the ads.

Great, economical, effective. This is an excellent piano tuning app. I would try this app before because it’s affordable and work most efficiently. To get the most spot tuning go to the I button and set for 2 centimes. When you’re done you’ll think you have a new piano.

Most accurate tuner I have ever used. I use this on my acoustic guitars and my son’s ukulele and it’s spot on accurate. I love to tune by ear but this thing gets you there way faster - love it!

I can’t find a better tuner app; so there’s thay.. Have been playing guitar for over 20 years, and I’m in my early 30’s. So I’ve seen a tuner or two in my days. For an app based tuner; this is the best. Period. Go ahead and upgrade to the premium and support the developers, because they did a great job. Aesthetically simple. Spectrally accurate. The best.

Font changed randomly and looks bad. It says it last updated 2 months ago, but it changed to a gross thin font that looks bad and reset all the settings I had configured between 2 days ago and today. The note response is markedly slower now as well, like it has a larger averaging window for some reason. Changing things that work for no reason is pretty lame

Fantastic. By far the best tuner. I play a banjo and have used several of the types that clip on. All are slow (so you overshoot when tuning), some are very sensitive to placement and some are confusing to read Banjo players frequently change tuning (G to C to D to Dm and so on) and this software makes it much easier and quicker Get it!

Trusty Little Tuner App. I’ve used this app for years. I have a chromatic tuning pedal, built-in amp modeler tuner, clip-on tuner, etc. but this app is conveniently always close by (phone addict). The tuning precision is impressive and the note detection is great even with moderate background noise. Now, if you’re tuning around other noisy musicians, you’re not gonna have an easy time, but for a personal little tuner, this things rips!

Favorite Tuner app. I am a Peabody Conservatory graduate/ guitar instructor on the college level. For some reason since my youth tuning and intonation have always been a really itchy point of contention for me. If someone else is out of tune , ok. But if it’s me, I can’t stand it. This tuner satisfies my tuning issues and , no, I don’t have perfect pitch. But this tuner does a much better job than any other app I’ve tried. That’s all. Thank you to the developers. 🙂

5 stars is NOT enough! :). I have searched hi and lo and found nothing that does exactly what this app says it will do and does it perfectly for what I need it to do. As a musician since I was 6 and against my will forced to begin private Classical piano lessons, this quickly became a gift instead of the burdens. Music is my life. There’s nothing else left. Just me, my kitten 🐈‍⬛ Cyrus bean Jr , my cello, my acoustic electric bass guitar, my korg concert C30 piano, my ‘69 Gibson SG, my late stepfathers classical acoustic guitar and that list goes on and on… “So it goes….” - k.V. Banjo guy gives it five. Notorious for not staying in tune or constantly changing mountain style tunings for a song, I had this as a free app early and loved it, until ads started getting overwhelming. Two years later, I chucked several apps from companies that also had free tuners and paid for this one. I always love using this app. Please app people from this company...no more advertisements. 🙉🎷🎶 〰🙏🏾 Thanks

Updated my iPhone operating system and.... The tuner no longer works! I get only a frozen screen! I have deleted and reinstalled both tuner versions to no avail. There is a note saying the fix has been done, but it still doesn't work on my iPhone SE. 😢

Absolutely fantastic. I use this app now almost exclusively when I am tuning everything from violins to pianos. It's great for getting a piano in just the right zone so that I don't have very much adjusting to achieve a great overall tuning. It's certainly helped to cut down on the amount of time a typical piano tuning takes. And, it's terrific for an overpull...makes it extremely fast. Definitely the best $1.99 I have ever spent. Period.

My Tuner for over a decade. I always used the light versión but finally decided to pay - because after a decade as my go to tuner, simple, no fuss - I knew I should. Great little app.

Perfect for any kind of instrument ❤️. Through all my years of playing for a band, I’ve had to pick up a wide variety of instruments in order to fill in a few spots. A friend suggested this to me and I am certainly glad he did! I play the Banjo, guitar, mandolin, piano, bass guitar and the ukulele - and this tuner works perfectly for each and every one, including the bass! I’ve owned an array of different tuners and brands, but none of them work as accurately as this app. It’s incredibly nice to have this good of a tuner in your pocket at all times. If you’re a musician, this is the one. The free version suited me just fine but it was just so good that I finally decided to buy the full version to show some support for the developer. I give this a definite thumbs up 👍

I love this thing!. It helps so much with every instrument, and it’s especially fun for voice, trumpet buzzing, and trombone buzzing. The frequency display is the best part! Knowing exactly where you are and what octave you’re in is so much fun and so clarifying!

Worth every cent. I’ve used the paid version of this app for several years. It makes tuning my guitar easy. I can tune my bass with it too. I highly recommend it.

Pano. It’s pretty simple to use and it works perfectly. I had been using it for quite a while before I realized it has Settings you can change from A B C to Do Re Me and you can change to different keys. I got the paid version I think it was $1.99.

Would give this 6 stars if I could. Downloaded the free version of the app several years ago when I first started playing guitar and it does exactly what I need – provide me with precision tuning quickly and easily. There are flashier tuners and I’ve used a lot of them. I keep coming back to this one though. Simple and works as advertised.

Tuning Confusion. I have been using this tuner for a year and a half and it worked great until I upgraded. When I tune in Just intonation I’m sometimes up to 10 cents sharp, while in Equal I’m perfectly in tune. On other tuning apps it registers equal as being in tune and just being tempered differently. Please rectify this as soon as possible.

Sometimes it doesn’t work???. I bought this one because the lite one most of the times just wouldn’t work, I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling over and over but it wouldn’t work. I bought this one and the same thing happens! I just don’t know what todo to fix it I checked the microphone and everything but nothing

Real time tuning and note observation.. The reaction speed of this tuner is great. Mainly because I can see visually the notes that I’m playing in real time. That way when I am improvising and composing something that sounds good to me and not sure exactly what notes and playing, I can understand the chord structure and melodies for the future. I don’t read music so this helps me for notation and communication with other musicians. It also helps me learn my instruments and my tunings better This is a very handy tool. My only concern is that the developer is not staying up-to-date and keeping up to date with the new iOS’.It would also be nice to know what privacy details are considered in this app.

My Go To Tuner of 8 years. I don’t do a lot of music much anymore, but I always come back to this app and it always is consistently grand. Buying it was a REALLY great use of $2

Orchestral Musician and Teacher. This is my go to tuner. I've used it for 4 years now. The ability to control the "green" range is great for training students and yourself to really perfect intonation issues. In addition, the ability to change the the base tuning (to 442 for example) is very helpful for preparing auditions where the tuning may not be based in A440. Highly recommend using this app for your tuning needs!

Version change. Hello. Some time ago my old version was deleted and I had to buy the old version. Now deleted again! And I can't work with this new version at all. Not accurate at all! Please tell me how to get the old one. Thankful

Subscription. Tuner is excellent but the app doesn’t remember that it was paid for ad remove and it’s necessary to go to the app store everytime I use it. It’s an unnecessary annoyance is all and would be nice to not have to deal with reapplying for esch use

Elegant app. Elegant and simple to use. I’ve been using it for a few years to tune my guitar when my other tuner was too far away to get. This works great!

Crashes way too often. Panotuner Lite doesn’t crash at all. But this, premium version that I paid money for crashes often & the only way to fix it is by reinstalling the app, otherwise I would give this simple useful app 5 stars. Please fix it. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro in the latest iPhone update.

Accurate tuning with easy access!. No need to carry portable tuners. It saves time to compare with my other tuners! Quality of tuning sound is excellent.

Unsure which app to get. I’m a pianist who lives in a rural area. Piano technicians in our area don’t exist, thus I was forced to learn how to tune my own piano. I have been playing piano since age 3 or 4 thus am accomplished. Was unsure of which app to get for my iPad including some that cost hundreds of dollars. “Pano Tuner” was very inexpensive but does the job… better than expected. I’ve been able to tune all 88 keys without making huge computer adjustments. I’ve been able to tune my piano successfully and my Rach 2 sounds great again!

Can’t change orientation?. Does not allow change of orientation which is quite frustrating when moving between apps during tuition

Perfect tuner. I’ve been using this for at least two years and I’m very happy with it. I don’t need another tuner. I like the steampunk look. I like the way it lets you know when you are near, then very near, then spot on the note. I like the way it can be adjusted for different relative base pitches. I like everything about it! I use to tune guitars, ukekeles, autoharps and drums. I also use to find the pitch of a singing bowl when I am contemplating adding to my collection. Please download this pano tuner. You will not regret!

Amazing. I use it as a guide when tuning pianos. Most tuners run out of range and won’t show the low & high notes. It’s very handy when raising the pianos pitch before tuning. It still shows the note while played with other notes, witch I thought is not possible, yet it does it. This is the only tuner that will show all the notes. Plus it’s easy to see. Mind you this is the first app tuner I’ve used. I’m impressed. It is a bit fast acting. If It was slightly slower it’d make it a bit easier to see the finer details. But those are done by ear anyway. As long as I can see weather it’s sharp or flat, I’m good.

Best tuner bar none. I usually use clamp on tuners for my ukes and guitars, but none of them including Beam and Snarks do a good job with my Uke bass. Those of us who do play a Uke bass will know that the rubber strings and their tendency to stick in the nut grooves make tuning accurately pretty difficult. And clamp on tuners I have tried struggle with low frequencies- they often just can’t hear them. This is true of most phone app tuners too. But the Pano absolutely aces the tuning job. I particularly like the frequency displayed under the slider. IMHO that’s the gold standard. I play and tune in pretty quiet surroundings so I can’t comment on Pano’s noise rejection, but for $2.99, how can you go past this tuner ? Five stars !

Excellent but landscape orientation issue. Overall excellent app however I must share my disappointment or rather the difficulty I encounter most tomes as I try to change to another app or to close the tuner. I believe there’s an opportunity for improvement at the ui level to make it easier for the user to change the orientation.

Works well. I am new to using tuners and I purchased a Korg tuner then realized I could have one on my cell. What is so good with this tuner is that is it not only easy to read but is so handy because if it being an app on my cell. I never have to worry about forgetting my tuner because it is always with me ( unless for some reason I do not have my cell). Great invention!

Really slow loading. I try to swipe the tuner to get to a different letter, and it just goes past it, doesn't move or does a complete circle ending up where I started. Very dumb design.

Intonation tool of excellence. I use it to do intonation on string projects! It’s basic precise “cents” display makes it easy to check intonation on the vintage guitars and ukeleles that are no longer playable and too expensive to take to a luthier. They have to eat too! I just wouldn’t be able to pay 8 hours on these projects. I also restored a couple of autoharps for fun. The temper tuning function is absolutely fantastic for the purpose of tuning an autoharp!

Every thing is there except few. I have no complaint about this tuner. It has everything and all is user friendly. I suggest to have Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dh Ni Sa Similar to Do Re Mi as Indian classical notations then it will become universal tuner for everybody. I will suggest to add Sruti Temperament for Indian classical tuning. I always use the paid version of this since years so that i can set whatever i want. I know you can add your own temperament but not shown anywhere that we have to add differential from equal temperament and is it cent value or frequency differential?

Wonderful, multi-temperament tuner. This has been my go-to guitar tuner for years (flamenco, Weissenborn), and I love it! However, I noticed the app updated itself a couple of days ago, and when I launched it today to fine-tune my Weissenborn, I noticed the U/I was slightly different—the displayed pitch direction had changed. I went to settings to see if I could change it back (I can, and did!) and then noticed that they’ve added multiple temperaments to the app!!! This is a big deal for me, as I also play harpsichord, and typically tune to one of a few historical ones, usually Vallotti, (happily, it’s listed there along with other most common ones: Kirnberger III, 1/4 comma, 1/6 comma, Werkmeister III, &c.)! You can also set up others as you need ‘em. Well done guys; makes me pretty happy indeed!

App disappears every week?. I love the app but it disappears from my phone and I have to delete it and bring it back. I thought it was just the free version but it happens with the paid version as well. Using up to date iPhone operating systems. Anyone have this experience?

Works great… up to a point. This app is wonderful. I can actually tune timpani in a noisy environment with it. I just wish it could hear the top 5th of a piano keyboard!

Great app, but……. I played five string banjo, and this app is great for maintaining proper tuning. However, on my iPhone, sometimes it will open and then just close before I can even use it. The only Remedy I’ve come up with is to uninstall, and then reinstall the app. This is getting tiresome

Great for harp!. I’m using this on a concert grand pedal harp and it’s amazing! Accurate tuning from top to bottom string, which is really hard to do! Love this tuner!

Useful but frustrating. I think this is a good tuner app and currently it is my go-to. I like the sensitivity option and I like the Hz readout. However the app locks up on me regularly- interestingly only when I am tuning the lower strings. That’s the frustrating part.

Freezing screen. Downloaded on my IPhone 11 Pro. Freezes the screen and cannot exit the app??? Tried the paid and free version. Have to shut phone off every time to exit the app. Unsure why??

Great tuner. I love the convenience of this tuner for my harp. The phone is always with me…and so is my tuner!!! Also it does a great job of tuning.
