JBL flex. I have had the JBL flex Ear buds for about 4 days now…& so far it’s been great user experience(i know it maybe a little too soon to judge, but still I feel that someone may find use in my feedback )One thing i am struggling with is that I still can’t figure out how to turn them on, when they get to sleep. since I have them on power saver mode they are set to shut down when 30min is reached with out use and waking them up has not been easy :). Also I am still trying to figure out the gestures on the buds them selfs, but I think the app really helps with figuring this out which I have downloaded already, but still didn’t get a chance to really use. But over.. all so far, am happy with the sound and battery life.
Allow adjusting for the sound of touch. Fantastic app I like how much u can adjust the equalizer and all the different settings it works great. Just should also allow to adjust the volume when you use the touch features they’re pretty quite. I have to really focus for when I activate Siri it’s a lil noise and really not noticeable. Same thing for when I’m listening to music and want to skip a track I can barely hear the first and second tap sometimes I press it three times trying to activate it cuz I can’t hear it. That’s a bout it tho it’s a great app and very functional.
Finally Caved and Bought LivePro2 Earbuds. Love-hate relationship has already ensued and I have only had them two days!!! I love the noise cancelling! I love the sound. I love the color! I love the fit, but . . . These things are constantly cutting out. When I want to listen to music, I actually want to listen without annoying interruptions. What is the point of going with a long-standing brand only to have them work like a pair of $15 earbuds? It is NOT my Bluetooth connection or anything else. I know this because my hubby bought earbuds (Skullcandy) at the same time and he hasn't had one issue yet. So . . . It seems to me there is one way to solve this problem . . . Return them and buy the other brand. 🥹😔I am really sad about this. PS. There are a lot of complaints with this very issue. Does anybody know if JBL is fixing the issue for future earbuds? The fair thing to do when a common issue arises is to take them off the market. Stop selling things that don't work properly. It becomes a real hassle for We the Consumers. We are simply asking for stuff to work as described, especially at the price point JBL is.
Crazy Good Earbuds. I shopped for about a month before deciding on these ear buds. When I first put them in I was a little disappointed, but I uploaded the app, set the equalizer to my liking, and changed the little rubber things to a larger size and these things are insane. I can understand lyrics I never could hear clearly before. Even learned some new lyrics to Pearl Jam songs. I listened for about 6 hours the first day I had them, got a bunch of yard work done, then the next day went and bought two more pairs to give to my kids. Not making this up. Enjoy them!!
Good app for headphones. I was impressed, the app asked for an update the day I got the headphones and app. I did the update, turned on my headphones (well, first I had to pair them first) and started jamming to music, I felt the vibe like I was at a concert in rl, I suggest you get this app, also if you turn the talk through setting to talk thro, you won’t be able to hear the music, I suggest you put the setting on the middle button, so it’s talk through, and listable at the same time. These headphones can also stop playing music once and a while, this is because they hear talking and they think someone is talking to you, there is a setting for that to, use this app. I was very impressed, but I saw a comment that said that it broke their headphones and I was like that’s weird that I didn’t do that to me, so am I happened to you? It didn’t happen to me, but it might happen to you, so be aware and be safe.
Best I’ve ever used. I have had other more expensive brands that didnt last. Would not stay in my ears or hurt after extended periods of use. These have proven to be excellent in all categories. Price, durability, retention, and sound. I have dropped them without any issue. The battery life is crazy. I use mine all the time and I can go a week or more without charging. I hope they never stop making this earbud. The tab holds the earbud in your ear through workouts, running, everything i ve done. They are comfortable and don’t fall out.
These things don’t work. These headphones just straight up do not work correctly. Putting them back in the case and closing it doesn’t disconnect them so I have to manually power them off and disconnect my Bluetooth in order for the battery to not die. Speaking of the battery, even powering them off doesn’t stop either the left or right earbud being dead even after leaving them all night to charge when the case shows it has 70%+ battery. These were $115 headphones and within 3 weeks I’m seriously considering buying new Apple earphones. Cannot recommend against these overpriced pieces of trash enough, please don’t waste your money.
Perfect sweat proof and waterproof earbuds there is and ever will be. These earbuds are by far the best to use anywhere because there not only sweat proof there waterproof as well so if you’re out and about doing some running around the manor hood if you sweat from running it doesn’t matter also if you get caught in a out of nowhere rainstorm they will be fine I rate them the best there is for earbuds these Endurance Race Twins are the best there is and ever will be because they also last almost 3 days one charge
Couldn’t find (it in blue tooth). I got the TUNE 520BT and I can’t find it in the app. I don’t know if it works well because I can’t connect it right now so this isn’t a perfect review. I don’t know how to get it to work and what to do so just saying if you get this and can’t find it, we are in the same boat. I looked in the Bluetooth and found it there. It over all is very good sounding. But I would just change it and put it in the app so people like me wouldn’t have to worry.
Did not solve the issue. I received a pair of JBL Live 460 headphones for Christmas in 2023. They have great noise cancellation, battery life, and are extremely comfortable. There is one feature that peeved me, however, that being the automatic pause and play. It pauses at random times, often multiple times in a row, and doesn’t even work as intended sometimes- I can take the headphones off completely and they won’t pause the music. I really wanted to turn this feature off because it was hindering my music listening experience, and I was happy that there was a toggle in the app to turn the feature off or on. Well the toggle doesn’t work. Not one bit. I turned the feature off and it was still pausing and playing, accompanied by the repeated pausing and playing sounds that the headphones have. JBL, I love these headphones, and will continue to use them as they were a thoughtful gift from my family, but PLEASE fix your app or something so I can turn off this annoying headphone feature.
Amazing App for JBL Headphones!. I have the JBL Live 500bt and recently found this app and can definitely say this really enhanced my music listening experience the sound quality is exquisitely pleasing to my ears! Also the bass is really nice and deep which I love. 5/5 stars would most definitely recommend if you want to get the most out of your JBL headphones!! Although I would like if there was more in-depth options for the EQ instead of just Bass, Jazz and vocal !
Pretty good (until it suddenly isn’t). The app is pretty useful, better than I expected honestly. The equalizer is excellent and very responsive, the ambient noise control is also well thought out and pretty intuitive to set up/use. All that being said, I’ve been using the app for about a week now with an iPhone 15 pr (updated to the latest software) and a pair of the tune beam live 3 earbuds (the ones with the LED screen on the case)and it will periodically refuse to connect to my headphones in the app. When I try to select them it gives me an error message and it’s happened several times so far. My only fix has been to go into Bluetooth settings and force it to forget the headphones, reset them and pair them again. Which is frustrating and annoying because it honestly is a useful app but it’s done this several times in a week. Please fix or tell me what I’m doing wrong
Lacks volume. This app is great but it has some glitches. For some reason when switching EQ profiles it causes the volume to sound flat at times. When that happens you have to press the Siri/Alexa button, wait 2 seconds, then click on your screen to cancel it, and when the music comes back it will sound full again. If you really want to see what these headphones can do, pair it with your smart TV(In my case LG CX) and play your favorite song through the YT app and you will be able to pump the volume twice fold. These headphones need a firmware update. They can be pushed further.
iOS 16, initial setup of bluetooth loop. When you first download the app its ask for allow notifications and set up Bluetooth. this is where the problem lies the Bluetooth option is not displayed under the app individual settings. Bluetooth when turned on for your phone will act as the umbrella settings for all the apps. This is where you’re in a constant loop and the app wont let you proceed through the next steps. Doesn't matter if you delete/remove ,Try disconnecting the headphones or toggle on/off bluet. You’re in a loop until the developers need to fix for ios16.6 , Which is upsetting when you need the app to help find a missing earbud. Defeats having the app. Reddit is not helpful either . You’ll just find the same complaints
Very impressed. I’ve been researching headphones and reading reviews for headphones for a good month or so and I walked through Kohl’s and found these JBL Tune 230nc and saw the price and walked away. As I stood in line waiting for my food I started looking at reviews for these headphones. I think there was 2 or 3 negative reviews but for the most part they were good. So I thought I’ll get them and if I don’t like them I’ll just return them. Once I got back and set them up and installed the update I haven’t been able to take them out. They’re literally stuck in my ear!!! The sound is amazing, the bass is great and the gestures are easy to use and you don’t have to push them into your head to get them to respond like on my previous headphones. They’re comfortable and feel tight and I don’t feel like they’re gonna fall out of my ear!!! What imma saying is these are the best headphones I’ve had and way worth the price I paid!!! Thank you for making a good product I can talk about. I’ve actually told everyone that I hang with to put them in and listen. Imma very pleased with my purchase!!! Frank
Ditch the apple airpods. Almost bought my THIRD pair of airpods cuz they started acting up as far as the battery and they weren’t loud anymore…these are Cheaper. Quality is AMAZING. Battery charge fast and last long. Using the app is awesome so u can customize how u hear…i LOVE them cant lie. If I was to add cons the ONLY thing I can say as of now is its kinda hard to get them out the case lol. The magnet so strong it makes me nervous to pull hard because i don’t want them to fall or fly somewhere but I think you just have to get use to it and figure out your finger placement technique.
Terrible App for Garbage Headphones. The voice assistant activates unprompted all the time on my headphones. Solution? Change the settings on the headphones to “none” but mine still turn on the voice assistant when you tap and hold even though they aren’t supposed to. Why can’t jbl focus on giving us a working app and a refined pair of headphones instead of dumping a bunch of mid headphones on us with a poorly functioning app? Update: app continues to get slower and is just as glitchy as it was months ago. When are you going to take pride in your products JBL? Update: this app just gets slower and the developers are never improving it. Such a disappointment.
Cool app but there are some small issues that are annoying. I have been very happy with these EarPods and the app has been a pretty cool bonus I wasn’t aware of. There’s some convenient and definitely nice to have features in it that have made me life the EarPods even better. That being said, there has been quite a few connectivity issues with the app 1. It strangely won’t ever connect to them when they’re in the case which is pretty dumb, especially if just one of them is in the case and I am using the other. 2. It just doesn’t connect to them at all way to often. So I have to put them in the case and take them out once or twice before it connects. Outside of those issues. I am a fan and it’s nice to have and adds to the value of the pods, especially for only being $80
Good but upsetting weak points.. I don’t know how to start this rant off but I’m going to just go ahead and say that it is so frustrating to use because it automatically turns on the ambient aware mode which doesn’t even do anything helpful and puts white noise in your ear and ruin the audio of what your trying to listen to. Another complaint is that the find my buds feature is near useless, if you actually lose your headphones you can’t even use the feature because you have to connect them to your phone to even have the option to click it 😭. I’m sorry for the 2 star rating, I’m venting frustration right now because I lost my pair of jbl earbuds and can’t find them so I’m giving it an unfair review, it’s actually a good app.
JBL650BTNC. Great Headphones For The Money. I received these as a Christmas present and I have enjoyed them ever since. They satisfied my needs very well. A great value for the money. They are fairly comfortable to wear. The app has a built in equalizer so you can tune the sound to your liking. The volume buttons do not work once either Of the voice assistants are selected. Took a while to figure this out. Turning off solved the issue. I have noise cancelling Sony earbuds and the JBL650 does a better job of noise cancelling.
Nice sound bad charging. The sounds quality is good. The noise canceling is mostly due to the rubber tips forming a seal in your ear canal. The added electronic noise canceling is relatively minor. If you use these on a plane or bus, they perform well. If you are in a windy environment they are not better than any other headset. There is a lot of turbulence that is not at all canceled out. I did use them on a plane before and they were great in that setting. I am a jogger and perhaps the constant grime of sweat coats or corrodes the little charging plates on the air buds. They are almost impossible to charge. I’ve cleaned the inside of the case as well as the air buds with alcohol (recommended on JBL troubleshooting page) and that does help. These charging issues started less than one year after having this product. I’m now going on the second year and only one of the can be charged, but only sometimes. I’ve also noticed that when the phone app says it is 80% charged, that only amounts to about 15 minutes of battery life. I’ve been too lazy but will finally buy a different product soon to replace these. Overall as a jogger I’m disappointed in this product.
Not Worth It. The earbuds are manufactured by, JBL, so the sound quality is great! However, the fit is terrible. I mean, to the point, in which, it’s almost astonishing that the fit could even be that bad. They utilize a similar “cushion” as nearly every other make and offer multiple sizes, so how could these particular earbuds offer such a lousy fit? You’ll find yourself constantly adjusting them in your ears because they fit so poorly. They are either on the verge of falling out, or you’ve managed to lodge them into your ears to the point that the cushion will remain in your ear canal when you remove the earbud (which actually happened to me). Additionally, they fail to charge in their case sometimes. If you’re connected to, Bluetooth, you may discover sound emitting from your earbuds while they are in your charging case, in your pocket. Lastly, while the sound quality is good, I would prefer if these earbuds had the capability of being louder than their maximum volume. And, for the record, I don’t have any hearing issues or disabilities. I’ve tried numerous brands ranging, widely, in price, and I’ve never encountered another brand that fit so poorly. They’re not worth the investment.
Best in gym. The app is awesome. I can control all of the things I wanted, yet can’t with my AirPods Pro (latest/best as of review). There actually used to be more settings for gestures, I in the latter. The TUNE130 TWSs are a better product too, sound quality, gestures, noise canceling and equalizer functions. If you’re like me and need two pairs, go straight to the sound specialist. If I never write another review, don’t send a search party. Apple had me killed.
Frustrating app. Why do I have to have my earbuds in to make a change to any of the settings? Seriously, I should be able to change something like gestures without having to put both buds in my ears. Samsung, Apple, and Sony have all figured out how to do this. Worse, why do my buds always default to “Ambient Aware” every single time I put them in? I hate ambient aware. I never use it, don’t like it, don’t want it. Every time I put it my buds, I have to turn it off. For the love of everything holy, JBL, make the buds default to the last setting. This isn’t 2007. No one else forces the user to start in some worthless default mode. This “feature” (bug) makes good earbuds (Tune230) absolutely unusable. I can’t use the buds because the software was written by people who have, apparently, never used a set of earbuds.
Great bang for the buck. Just wish it didn't had the glitch in the beginning. It would have a disconnect glitch issue. After the update it works as normal. The built quality is okay. Just was expecting a little bit more of a better quality for being a sub 80-90 dollar pair of head phones. The case and headphones itself feels kinda cheap. However the quality of sound is great and the in app feature is a + to have.
iOS 16. Used the app perfectly fine for quite a while, but since updating to iOS 16, the app no longer recognizes my headphones, and now it’s gotten to the point where they won’t even pair with the phone. Once things finally got paired after this last update, things seemed to start working better. 3 stars for the annoyance of getting it all set up (had to do manual pairing mode), but an extra star for actually getting an update out to fix the iOS 16 issue. Thanks.
100% useless, broken app. No amount of factory resetting, unpairing, or turning off/on will make this app work This is one of those rare apps that is so genuinely bad at doing the one thing it's meant to do, that I feel obligated to review it just to let others know this is terrible. Jesus Christ what an annoying thing to deal with. My earbuds are fine. My phone is fine. It's your app. How is it not able to detect the earbuds that I'm literally listening to music on thru my phone that runs the app.
Awesome! -> Please Add App Feature …. These are amazing quality. I would like to suggest to add an option in the app to completely disable the voice assistant (via the left tap ear piece) could just be a trigger in the app. I’ve accidentally bumped it trying to adjust headphones and also just don’t want to use it, so a control to turn off altogether would be much appreciated! Thank you! PS -to reiterate the need-wore to the gym for the first time-same issue-was doing pull ups and my arm kept bumping the left ear causing the assistant to come on when I didn’t want it. Also when stretching. Please add the feature to turn off that assistant and these will be PERFECT. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
They’re okay headphones and app. The JBL Vibe Flex headphones I purchased were on sale. I work in a noisy lab but I can’t use complete noise cancelling. These do not stop playing my podcasts or music when I take them out. The app has a few options but no real explanation for some of them so I tried all of them. It distorts the lab noises but the sounds are still very loud. These would probably be good for working out in your own home or a quiet classroom or office setting. It’s not good for noisy environments or when you have to talk to people all day.
Live 300 TWS. For the money you WILL NOT find better sound. Id be willing to bet for another hundred or two you won’t find better sound. I paid almost 300 for my Solo Pros and the JBL are superior. These are truly what music is meant to sound like. I have JBL in my car and I will only buy Harman products from “hear” on out. To the engineers at Harman I applaud you. Keep up the good work. I highly recommend. I can’t wait to save up the scratch to get the Flash as I’m told they sound BETTER?! I don’t know how this is possible, but I wanna find out!
Gestures are annoying. The app is generally nice (the equalizer configuration feature is especially nice), but there’s one feature that really bothers me. In gesture settings, it’s possible to disable gestures relating to playing audio, but the gestures for hanging calls are permanently on and unconfigurable. This is really annoying because these gestures are very easy to trigger without meaning to, especially since I need to adjust the headphones position frequently since they’re always slipping out. This makes it such that I end up frequently hanging up on people I’m talking to multiple times during a conversation.
Project Rock Over-Ear Headphones keep disconnecting while at the gym. I’ve been a long term supporter of the Project Rock Headphones. I’m always in the gym and love the durability and sound quality that they were created for. I have two pair of the on-ear versions and then moved to the over-ear model. Love the design and that you can customize the size profile. However the over the ear continuously disconnect while I’m working out which is frustrating. This has never been a problem with the on-ear versions. I understand Bluetooth traffic is high at the gym…but again never happens with my on-ear Project Rock headphones or with the Beats products. I want these Project Rocks to be my go to headphones but they aren’t reliable.
amazing. I started using these and quickly learned my Bluetooth on my phone was also pairing up and learned that I could just speak and it would work, and then I could use the equalizers and even further clarify my lack of hearing . They fit my ears much better and they are much more comfortable than the smaller ones that press on the ears. They're white and easier to find so much. I forget all the other. Great attributes thank you thank you thank you JBL.
App is useless in ios(my experience with :JBL live pro 2 TWS). Don’t waste your hard earned money on JBL Headphones. But if you bought one, never install this app, you really don’t need this app because it doesn’t offer you anything special to improv your headphone sound quality except a useless limited equalizer. the app keeps disconnecting from headphones and doesn’t work good with ios. It can’t recognize headphone most of the time and you have to restart your headphone couple of times to make it work again. Its very frustrating and clearly no one in JBL cares about fixing this issue for ios. And at the end if you had to buy a JBL Headphones and you somehow had the itch to download this app never ever update your headphones firmware trough this app or you will lose a very noticeable portion of your headphone’s sound quality.
Killed my $300 Headphones. Some months ago I bought the JBL Tour One’s. Phenomenal headphones. Beautiful sound quality with great noise cancellation. I thought it was even cooler that it had an app where I could change sound settings on the headphones too. Then one day just before heading to the gym, I turned the headphones and just fine while also getting on THIS app to change some of the settings again. For the first time it said my headphones needed an update. “An update? For my headphones?” I thought to myself.. I decided to continue with it thinking it might just be a simple fix for something. Worst decision I could have possible made. The update finished and I tried to listen to music, nothing. No sound whatsoever. I turned them off and back on. Still the same thing. That sound JBL products make with the base and the guitar, just stopped completely. The headphones turn on but nothing happens. I’m genuinely disappointed and sad that I even have to write this because I’ve used many JBL products before and have always been more than satisfied. This however is a big stain on their name. I tried to get in contact with anyone from JBL but got little to no response back. So I tossed the headphones aside in their case where they’ve been collecting dust. I don’t know if they’ll even respond to this review, but if you’re thinking of using this app to pair your headphones with- DO NOT DO IT. I REPEAT DON’T. It will mess up your gear and leave you with your money in the trash.
Charging issues. I have to quadruple check to be sure the buds made the connection to charge. I have had DOZENS of surprises when I go to listen while working and there’s dead batteries. This has gone on since about a year after purchase. It became so troublesome that I considered throwing them away. So now I have to check over and over again to see IF the buds are charging. Even when I triple check to make sure the LEDs are lit up, and I go to use them and maybe ONE is charged. I’ll NEVER EVEN CONSIDER another set of buds from JBL and when ever I’m asked about them, I describe my experience and encourage them to look elsewhere. BTW, I’m shopping now want something suitable for range use. (GUN RANGE)
Vibe NOT supported.. The App Store summary says that JBL Vibe is supported. It is NOT supported!!! When I open the app, it says can’t find device and gives a list of models to look for - NO VIBE!!!! I just downloaded a completely worthless app based on an absolute LIE!!! I hoped it would resolve a serious problem with my earbuds. No more JBL for me!!!! Update: it gets worse! I tried getting support through the app. It asks for name, email, and question… but “submit” is greyed out and no way to submit no matter what you enter. Then I tried “Virtual Assistant”. It asked what I needed help with and I typed in “JBL Vibe”. The response: “Unfortunately a system error occurred.” They can’t get anything right! AVOID THIS APP AND PRODUCT!!!!
Vibe Buds. Love the ability to control every aspect of my listening experience with these earbuds and this app! I wanted to leave a review because I had seen others complaining that they couldn’t find Vibe Vuds on the app, and couldn’t use the app or customize their earbuds. I thought I was in for the same problem when I tried connecting my buds via the app. Vibe buds wasn’t listed. Wasn’t available at all. But after I gave up, I went and paired the vibe buds with my Bluetooth and then had the idea to try checking the JBL app again, now that they’re paired with my Bluetooth and see if it made a difference and sure enough as soon as I opened the app, JBL Vibe buds wasn’t listed the first thing I saw as it recognized I was paired and BAM I had access to full customization! These are awesome!
Won’t change in case. Right earbud in my original set, would shut off by itself and would not recharge when put into the charging case. Cleaned the contacts several times but that wasn’t the problem. Even after cleaning, the right earbud would not charge and would not pair with my phone. Had them replaced under warranty, it took about two weeks to get my replacement earbuds. When I got my replacement earbuds, I used them once, and they worked fine. The next day, when I tried to use them again, the left earbud went out and wasn’t charged. I double checked to make sure that the charging case was fully charged, which it was. I am going to be looking to return this set of earbuds and get a full refund.
Sound volume fluctuates. I like the JBL 3 because the battery life is amazing, but the quality of the sound is questionable. I’m going to return them because every movie, music, things that I would really like to listen to at a louder volume or limited. Also, if I’m connected to something with a decent / higher volume, somehow the volume changes. I have to disconnect and reconnect to get a louder volume. Once I’m at a slightly higher volume, I can’t turn it up higher. I feel like the product is stuck at four or five when it should go up to 10. Plus, the base is trash. These are designed for wearing in the house or in a car in a quiet environment. They’re definitely not designed for the gym or running. Other than the 15+ hour battery life, and they are comfortable in my ear, I’m not sold on these.
JBL Power. Have several sets of headphones including air pods, Beats, Samsung and Heavy’s- all of which do well in their own right - but for my ear each has limitations on comfort, Power and performance!! These JBL’s outperform all the others by mile- battery life is great, power and sound are true quality (the equalizer feature really enhances your sound for different genres) and the comfort is amazing to the fact that I can wear them outside or for working out and never miss a beat - WELL DONE JBL !!! 🎸
Hoping for better changes🤍. I find it quit immature to make headphones that are not accommodated by the app aswell. I got the JBL JR460NC as a present a while ago and I personally like to listen to music loudly and the headphones have been a little neutral for my preference but I dealt with it for some time untill I researched how to enhance the volume and came across this app. I was exited but once I realized that my headphones weren’t accommodated by this app I found it really stupid and unreasonable. If there is any alternatives or if im doing anything wrong please tell me🤍 love the headphones notherless, great brand and would recommend but im just a little disappointed with the app.
How has your tech not gotten beyond this?. I will be in my basement listening on my other headphones (also JBL, incidentally) and they will stop. When I look at my phone to find out why it will say that I’m not connected to these ear buds. That are upstairs. That are in their case. On other occasions I have put the buds in their case, making sure the lights on the buds flash, and they’ve been at, say, 70% charged, and I take them out of their case for their next use and they immediately say low charge. These are pretty antiquated issues that were usually mutually exclusive, now I have newer devices that have both? They sound decent (only decent, the others naturally sound better [Flex 660] but I’d still say only decent) for the price, but come on.
Chris review. The best wireless earbuds that are with in the most reasonable price, the only flaw that these headphones have is that if you’re walking outside and it’s wind well in the car with the window down the wind soun but other than that, the app has everything that you could need for the earbuds and it has the best sound quality is perfect in those loud areas and overall I just think they’re great. I’ve used them for two days already and I just love them
Amazing head phones. These were a great gift I got for Christmas. I haven’t had an over ear set headphones in a very long time. These worked very well for me. The noise canceling works very well. I also believe the sound is very good. I feel the bass could be a little deeper and they could be a little louder but over all for this price point I believe these are an amazing set of headphones. I also enjoy the app very much it was easy to use and to understand. The EQ works well and you can fine tune the music to your liking. The batteries stay charged for a long time being able to check the charge of the batteries through the app is a nice touch. The batteries charge rather quickly so that great. Overall these are a an amazing set of headphones and I highly recommend them especially if you are on a budget.
Good but not great. I have the JBL TUNE125TWS Bluetooth earbuds. I received them a present in December of 2021. They work well and are comfortable, I also like the charging pod. You can charge them without it being plugged in which is a plus. However the charging pod stopped working with the right earbud, it would charge the left but no the right. Had to figure out how to clean the connectors which wasn’t easy. The app does not work with this model which is also very frustrating. It would be great if there was a way to change the equalizer. And my BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that there is so way to find the earbuds or the pod if they get misplaced. There isn’t an app that works with them and they don’t have a button the pod to send a sound alert or something to the EarPods. Like a “find my iPhone” sound but a “find my EarPods” sound. Which would make it so much easier to find them. Ive misplaced one or both of them a few times and had to turn my apartment upside down to try and find them.
Impressed. Just would like to say that I’m very impressed and satisfied with the performance of these little ear buds! The sound quality is second to none and they are also very comfortable and easy to use! I also love the app that goes with them with all of the options to tune it to your liking!!! They are definitely the best “ bang for your buck” and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a great quality and performing earbud!!! Thank you JBL!!!
Top Quality. As soon as you pull them out of the box, you’ll notice the quality of the charging base. The ear buds lasted over 8 hours even with noise cancelling turned on. The app is quite useful for checking battery status in each individual ear bud & the charging base as well. Plus, it has an equalizer as to tweak any part of the audio spectrum you desire. All of this would be absolutely meaningless if they didn’t hit the high bar in sound quality. I listen to my home music on Old School Infinity RS3B speakers and I’m absolutely an audio snob. These JBL (LIVE FREE NC+TWS) ear buds checked every mark. VERY impressed. For me they had zero negatives. A+++
What it has works well, but it could do with more features.. I'm a producer and so have a fair amount of experience in dealing with EQs, and I have to say that the EQ feature in this app, while nice and simple, isn't quite enough. What if you create a complicated EQ with several points of all different values, then discover that the entire result is too quiet? or if every point above 0 is too loud and every point below is too soft? It would be nice to have a couple sliders for volume and offset to fix that problem when it comes up. Much better than being either off or full-strength. It would also be nice to have a preset to correct for the frequency response curve the headphones already have, sort of like Sonarworks for this specific range of headphones. (sorry for the overly technical review)
JBL 750BTNC owners be wary. This app has zero support for this model of headphones. Which is just fantastic. Dropped big money on a new set of headphones and now I can’t even use any of the new features the box explains that I should be able to do with the headphones app. What a joke. How could JBL release a product with the own manual telling you can do things that are literally not yet possible? Your broke bums. I will never buy another JBL product again and I don’t care if you even fix it. It seems to be a motto nowadays that companies release a half baked product and expect to be able to apply updates to it instead of releasing it in it’s final stage. Go figure JBL would be the one to do something like this, after all the sexual abuse allegations and the amount receipts showing the atrocities higher ups in the company committed on their own employees. No wonder you broke losers are releasing a half finished product. Never again. You’ll never get another dime from me.

Excellent in-ear phones. Just the job. Great sound and wireless charging.. Excellent in-ear phones for the price. They fit very well straight out of the box with 3 different sizes of the outer ear piece to give a perfect fit so they don’t fall out of your ear. Noise cancelling is very good. Possibly not as good as other higher prices brands but I would prefer to hear a little of the ambient noise around me when I use these on the footpath. There are noise functions such as noise cancelling and ambient aware at a touch of the earphone or via the app. Touch controls can be changed via the app to control what each press of the earphone does. Such as noise cancelling or ambient aware. Or maybe either volume up or down and on the other ear music stop, next track or previous track etc. Think it should be made more aware that it has wireless charging. So the earphone can be charged in the car or at home on a wireless charging pad. That’s what sold me on the device and also price compared to other brands. Music sounds very good. App allows you change the music to add more Bass or treble. These go loud enough that you can’t hear anything around you especially when noise cancelling is on. Which is loud enough for me. No issues with the app and neither with connecting straight out of the holder.
No longer supports old models. Why does this app now not recognise my headphones??? No reason to remove older models - poor service from a company I previously thought highly of.. I ran update on the app & now it doesn’t recognise my headphones so I can get full functionality on them. I

JBL live pro 2 - keeps cutting out every minute or so. 2nd pair for JBL earbuds. They keep cutting out for a second every couple of minutes. I’ve disabled everything on that app. The app can’t find the Buds occasionally. The app has great functionality.
Should’ve just bought some AirPods. Good sound, but I wish had just spent the money and purchased new AirPods after losing my last ones. These are frustrating to connect but they get there eventually. The noise cancelling is not as good as AirPod Pros, and they pause if I yawn, because they think they’re not in my ear properly.
Its battery is so good!!. I know i might be writing about the headphones not the app, but the battery is so great! Charges fast and takes ages for the battery to go down again! I love it
A great app if you have JBL headphones.. Without the app you can connect in settings, and that’s it. With this, you can learn gestures for the headphones, control sound quality and noise cancelling and so much more! If you have JBL’s definitely recommend this app.
Annoying features. Really needs to be a way to turn off all touch controls instead of just some. If I’m talking on my phone and decide to put headphones in around half the time it’ll disconnect the call while I’m inserting the headphones. Similarly if I need to push the headphones back in so they don’t fall out of my ears. Or if I ignore them falling out and one hits the floor, same thing. Please update the app because right now I’m considering selling these and trying a different brand with a different app.
Gestures. Why do they keep beeping when I turn my head or move my hand anywhere near them. I go to the gym and they just keep beeping. Always beeping. I don’t think I’ll buy another set of these easrbuds and I love JBL speakers. Very disappointing And why do I need to add a nickname to submit this. Christ make it more user friendly please
App wont recognise my bluetooth device. The app wont recognise the device thats connected (JBL WAVE100TWS), ive tried repairing mode, uve tried shutting down both of phone and headphones and restarting them, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still wont show find my deivce. Inever have music playing or any music apps open whilst i open the jbl app and it still persists this annoying screen saying "we cant find your headphones"

I expected better. My partner purchased these as a Christmas present, I wanted something tiny as most ear buds a just too uncomfortable to wear. These were the smallest ones we could find without spending a fortune. They still to big even with the smallest ear piece in, they sometimes do not charge, they lose connection constantly or one ear will work and the other is still connected, I then have to go through the whole reconnection process. A little annoying and disappointing. I really did expect better
Can’t connect my model. I have the JBL Wave 100 TWS and thought that it would connect but i’ve been trying for 30 minutes and just won’t do anything. Quite disappointed that i can click on the ‘wave buds’ but can’t connect my wave buds 😕
Sound is good otherwise disappointing. The wind noise heard through these headphones is ridiculously loud. I have used other headphones and none have been affected by wind noise like the jbls. Borders on being unusable with even the lightest wind. Every time you touch them the features like noise cancelling is changes and features like Siri rarely work. Should’ve stuck with AirPods
Good headphones rubbish app. App is a waste which is so frustrating because the headphones are solid but Defs need equalising. The app does nothing, try to find the headphones and the app won’t discover despite being connected to my phone. A quick google suggests there has been issues with this app for years. Tried. Connecting on my iPhone and no headphones found tried my husbands Samsung and the headphone connect to the app but then the app doesn’t allow you to tap on anything to adjust it. So frustrating. Please fix the app, these headphones have awesome potential but sound really muddy at the moment
App disconnects from iPhone. I’m loving the earbuds but I’m confused as to why the app keeps disconnecting from my iPhone 12 Pro Max .. what do I have to do to prevent this from happening? Other than that my rating would be higher!

rubbish, simply does not work. will never buy a JBL product again! what a joke, no matter what i do i cannot connect my headphones to the app even though they are bluetooth connected to my phone. there seems to be absolutely no fix to this. deleting the app, reconnecting my headphones, etc literally nothing works. to think their products are so expensive and they can’t be bothered to make a functional app. i have never been so enraged by an app in my life.
Option to disable voice assistant. Pretty ok app, only use it when I accidentally switch noise cancelling off. However, it would be amazing if there was an option to disable the headphones triggering the voice assistant (Siri, Alexa) as it’s really annoying to have Siri triggering when I adjust my headphones or when working out.
Not great. The sound is good but it cuts out all the time!! Highly annoying If you listen to audiobooks or podcasts you miss out on important words. You might as well forget it. I would not recommend
Not connecting. I’m sure the JBL headphones app is great, but it won’t allow me to connect to my earbuds (JBL wave100TWS)! I have tried manually pairing and restarting but nothing seems to work correctly. When ever I try it always comes up with “We cannot find your headphones”. I have seen some complaints about this before but nothing has been done to fix it. So please, please fix this issue 🙏
Not Happy. After first getting my JBL speakers I was stocked. Lived up to the hype that wrItten about them, then after about 2 weeks? They keep dropping out of Bluetooth after 30/40 min and have to put them back in there case you connect again?
Doesn’t support all models. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying this doesn’t support their model, and I can confirm that a lot of headphone models aren’t there. I was searching for my headphone model but I couldn’t find. I’m very dissatisfied with this app. But I would appreciate if you added all models.
App does not recognise BT connection to Live Pro 2. Have to reset the headphones in several ways in an attempt to have the app recognise the BT connection to my mobile device. After establishing the connection and exiting the app, the issue arises again. Ultimately, I am unable to use the app and customise my device when I wish.
Great app, changed the settings to make my music as loud as possible.. Would be nice if they could add the TUNE 710bt though
Great headphones, one annoying feature. I’m using this app with my JBL LIVE460NC headphones. I love the look, sound and comfortable fit of the headphones, but there’s one very annoying feature - touching the outside of the left earpad for two seconds enables voice control. The app allows you to switch between voice assistants (Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant) but does not allow you to disable or switch it off completely. The sensitivity of the earpad is high, so anytime you put on or take off the headphones, you’re likely to enable voice control. This is annoying in itself, but what is particularly stressful is making unwanted calls to random contacts in my phone. I don’t want to make calls via the headphones - ever - I just want to use them to listen to music. I have emailed the manufacturer who provided troubleshooting advice unrelated to the issue. My current ‘fix’ is to pick up the headphones carefully from the edge of the earpads and select Alexa as the voice assistant. Since my iPhone doesn’t have the Alexa app, it can’t make unwanted calls, but I do hear a recorded message advising me to install Alexa everytime I accidentally touch the outside of the earpad. I believe on a previous version of this app, there was an option to deselect all voice assisants thus disabling voice control - please bring back this feature!
JBL Wow 😲 Sound quality. JBL LIVE NC460 headphones 🎧 are very good quality sounds and features. I love 💗 it and happy enjoying everyday at commuting, and off streets, at office too. I have the white colour set and gives me trendy look and people notice me just to grab from me. Funny 😁 Life is to enjoy 😉 so do have JBL headphones 🎧 to enjoy 😉 life at full potential.
Doesn’t support UA flash x. Was excited to get my new earphones, to then realise that the headphone app doesn’t actually support my model? Real confusing considering the website says it supports all new prices, and considering the rock has done a collab I thought these would be new enough. Sure enough they weren’t. Very disappointed that there’s an app that doesn’t support all products.
App not functional. It all worked as supposed to for a couple of times but after latest update no longer working. When reinstall JBL app it connects to Livepro2tws and allows setup and changes. The iPhone settings shows Bluetooth connected but no music apps are recognising or streaming through through BT. Reconnect BT through settings and all is fine with music apps but JBL “can’t find device”
Fantastic. I am very impressed with these in-ear headphones .I was very impressed right from the very first timeI used them .The case and charging port is just excellent and once you download the App on your devices it give you all the information related to the ear phones and also the battery and ear phone levels of charge .I would highly recommend the JBL inear headphones.I also have a set of Apple I ear headphones and in my opinion there is absolutely no difference between the two different sets of ear phones.
M.will. Not too bad of a product but it does have its down falls Ear pieces don’t sit well (never had an issue with other products) And some times the sounds will jump or hesitate in away that it will screw with your brain for a second.
Bug with Bluetooth on iPhone 14. Every time I use these earplugs, my iPhone won’t connect to my Tesla automatically. If I don’t use the earplugs, no problem with my iPhone. Also periodically, before the earplugs will connect to the iPhone, I have to either turn Bluetooth off on the iPhone or reboot the iPhone before they will connect.
JBL Live 770NC. Absolutely amazing sound quality, clear highs and vocals and thumping lows, great for phone calls on the road in my Kenworth trucks with no intrusive engine or road noises during the calls. A very worthwhile investment and pleased I made the purchase. JBL . . . . RocK on. 🤠👍🏻😎
Sensational!. Finally after several years trying others an awesome set of ear buds Brilliant music sound with great meaty bass and crystal clear phone calls that don't go pear shaped. Battery life great too.. all day long calls / music etc Get these !
Earphones. Worst quality don’t buy just buy AirPods honestly. They take forever to charge, flash blue when I’m wearing them don’t know why it happens but it looks weird, they take a few goes to connect to my phone and often only one will connect and they never disconnect from my phone when I put them back in the case so I have to turn Bluetooth off every time.
JBL 100%. Bought my Tours and just bought a party Box 310, it’s fugly but the room sounds like a live gig, happy as!. I have been with Sonos since day one, so happy with JBL.
Great product.. The ear pods are great but pity that JBL went away from the ear clip to hold them in. I prefer the older style but not disappointed in the sound quality.

Wait till you try this hot garbage. This is quite possibly the worst buds you could buy, I’m sure I have never experienced less exciting, less useful and less inspiring product. The case doesn’t charge anything, it’s an LED light generator, the earbuds cut out and then just never pair again, you spend more time figuring out which setting you like less than experiencing the music. The interface app is possibly the worst designed app that offers no interaction and really doesn’t allow anything. Before you say you get what you pay for I will say that this is supposed to be mid range so I guess mid range must mean Hot garbage Enjoy your garbage people
Don’t bother. This app is supposed to control the functions of my JBL Everest Elite 750nc head phones. Unfortunately it doesn’t recognise them when connected and keeps asking me to connect them... so, I am taking up valuable space on my phone and I can’t use most of the functionality of my rather expensive head phones.
I’m absolutely amazed.. the quality is incredible. Don’t go elsewhere… buy these.!! Great price, incredible quality
JBL pro. Great high quality product. Love the adjustment EQ and long battery life. I don’t like the bulkiness and would prefer buds a bit smaller but bass will be probably compromised. Overall I couldn’t live without my JBLs

Fit and sound quality. Could be my ears but the buds don’t stay in properly. Always adjusting them. During calls the sound seems to fade and crackle from left to right rapidly. Might be a setting but I’m yet to find it

App still has issues. I’m using JBL Live Pro 2 and every time I connect I can access the app once, after closing the app it will not find my earphones anymore, restarting the device and earphones doesn’t help either, change any settings and I will be stuck with it and won’t be able to get back into the app for a while. Great device and awesome sound, great granular controls for the earphones but the app won’t do what it is meant for.
Yeah. Yeah it works. Thought I lost my earbud, found it using a feature on the app. My sister was sitting on it. Coolio. Can turn ambient aware on. I don’t understand it exactly. It’s cool though. I only use my earbuds. But it’s good ig.
Frustrated. I love these earbuds so much. They fit, don’t fall out and sound fine with amazing battery life. The thing is that the right one rattles/ thuds when I walk so of course making them terrible for listening while doing any exercise at all. I’ll swap them for new ones but this seems to be happening to other people too. Trying to find online help in case there’s a solution.
Worst app ever used. The app does not give me a real time update of the charge status. Most of the times the case does not charge even though is only 10% charge left in the headphones. Sometimes 1 is 60% the other does not turn on cause is dead. App and device are the worst purchase I’ve ever made.
Can not turn off assisstance and auto stop video play all the time. The headphones have a sensor in the left cup that activates the assistant. (Google Assistant/Alexa/native) There is no option to turn it off or to unclick them in the JBL app. It constantly prompts a message to turn on the assistant when you try to use it in bed or something and it pauses your video. I noticed in YT videos of other models there is an option to switch it off but this one doesn't. I stop my video all the time! What a nuisance

how to find your headphones:. This worked for me: go into settings and into the Bluetooth section. Then, after loading, put your headphones close to your device and a link should pop up to attach them. Click it, and then go back to the app! Also, these headphones are very good, and have nice range.
Doesn’t support JBL Tune660NC. My headphones have an issue that the support site says can only be fixed through this app. If it worked for me, it would be so helpful, but sadly does not support my headphones.

Does not connect with Tune 760nc. I tried connecting headphone multiple times with app but it never worked. I reset the headphone but still negative. It does connect to Bluetooth successfully but doesnot sync with app at all. And JBL tune 760nc is not in a list, even though app description says supports all tune ANCs.

Missing Headphones. I have the Tune 760nc and they are not able to be tuned with this app. It’s frustrating as they are not very loud and I thought this would help.

Bada$$. These are great set of headphones! The life span on them is great! I have had them going for hours trying to kill the battery fully for the first time and I’m not even close yet. Hopefully they last like this for years to come. Only 4 stars as I could not register with manufacturers not in my Country yet (Canada)also I found that they could be louder. Very clear sound. Bumping bass and the app is very user friendly and helpful.

Crisp sound. For how surprising small they are they offer good sound either capacity to choose your personalized equalizer settings. Still though not too strong in a noisy environment like travelling by public bus. There I would recommend cushioned headsets. For office/ home listening they are perfect

Too loud!. I like my earbuds but the lowest volume setting is too loud so I use the custom EQ to decrease the volume, but that also decreases the quality a bit and only for so far (it’s also annoying to do). I wish there was a way besides this to decrease the volume to an appropriate level, cause the lowest setting shouldn’t sound like the midpoint
Don’t listen to other reviews. The other reviews are a bit braindead and don’t realize you need to pair your device to Bluetooth FIRST to connect your headphones or buds or whatever it is to the app

JBL Tune230NC TWS. I have the app on my old IPhone but just got a new phone and don’t see this headphone/earbud listed so it won’t pair with my phone. How can I get it paired?
No way to turn off voice assistant. Please release an update that allows you to turn off the voice assistant. It comes on all the time with the slightest tap and interrupts whatever I’m doing, making it hard to access my phone. I’ve almost called so many people. I’m going to be returning my headphones.

Horrid. Bought these buds and not even a month into wearing them the right one completely stops working. When I contacted support the asked me to perform a factory reset… except the only way to do so is through the right bud. The app is great and easy to use but avoid their buds at all costs.
Auto play/pause. When auto play/pause is turned off in the forced upon app it still interrupts all audio, the device is also over sensitive on the matter interrupting audio when merely chewing 0/0 for this reason
Stick to something else. The earbuds alone are great. The app honestly sucks. You can't find your earbuds unless they are connected. Even with my earbuds connected to my phone the app will not recognize them. I have to restart the app a few times before the app connects to them (while I am using the earbuds with the phone already). Go for skull candy push active or any of their tile compatible headphones.

JBL Tune230NC TWS. These earbuds were great for about 6 months. The first problem I had with the earbuds was the right side would only work at a low volume. I tried cleaning and resetting but neither worked to resolve this issue. I continued to use them in this condition for a short time until the left earbud would no longer charge. These earbuds were not abused and only used for 1-2 hours once or twice a week. I really liked these for the first 6 months but unfortunately I do not recommend them and would never buy them again.
Earbuds not so great. They don’t work sometimes. They go in and out in sound, it’s annoying you can use one headphone for only music and answering phone, and one for either switching from ambient sound to whatever and that’s it. You can’t control the volume and another thing. They aren’t that noise canceling as I expected. I have epilepsy. And they die easily after charging. Everyone says” oh those are JBL those are good..” maybe mine are defective. I wish I could get a new pair.
Don’t charge or stay connected properly. I recently bought the JBL minis about a week ago and at very first use they were pretty good. For some odd reason the left ear bud stopped connecting and now does not work. In the app it shows it’s at 0% charge but when I put it in the case it does not charge. I’ve looked online and cannot find anything to explain why it does this. Again they are brand new and have not been dropped / touched by water (even though water resistant). The right one charges and works just fine.
Great app but one issue. It is a great app and great headphones. But the issue I have is find my buds is supposed to find your buds but you have to be connected to them for it to work. I thought that if you had to connect to them they are not far from you.
Poor recharging system!!!!!!. Almost every single time I put my JBL ear buds in the case the left one NEVER connects and then when I want to use them it's very low on charge. The charging case is worthless! It needs to be redesigned! I shouldn't have to always keep rechecking my ear buds to ensure both left and right are properly charging. Oh and before replying back, I place them properly or ensure they are seated correctly and I have cleaned the contacts. It's not me. It's the poor engineering of the case and or ear buds.
Mic. For some reason, I’m having trouble talking to my friends on a gaming app (PUBG). There some minutes, just minutes only, that my friends can hear me. While most of the time, they say they cannot hear me or any noise on my side. I’m using an iPad to play PUBG with my friends. But when I connect it to phone and call someone, the person on the other side can hear me but barely. I do not know if it’s my devices or the headphones. I tried using the app to test the mic but the results still the same.
The epitome of user friendly headphones. I love these babies. The ability to creat your own sound design in the app is so amazing and so easy to use. These headphones are super easy to use, have with a great battery life, offer so many customizations and the sound quality is top notch. Could be louder though. Other than that they are perfectly.
Cute but not very good. The earbuds are nice and sound quality is great but they are hamstrung by a fundamental issue. They are very ineffective at charging and turning off. The contact points to charge are so small that if not placed perfectly in the holder they will not turn off to charge. It’s very common and frustrating to place the earbuds in the holder thinking they are being charged but only to discover they never made good contact thus they have been drained in power and can’t be used. For this fundamental issue I regret buying these earbuds.
Don’t buy speakers/headphones from this brand. Dont!. My earphones TWS230NC were really good with battery life and audio experience and had no issue whatsoever for 18 months of use. However one fine day, I received a notification in the app for an update. I fell for enhanced experience and as soon as I updated the firmware, my earphones battery cud barely last for 30 mins. Now I have wasted my $60-70 and have to get a new one cuz hey JBL decided to screw their customers. Like me there are many complaining abt the update. Abt earphone and even expensive headphones. I wont be buying anything from JBL in future.
JBL LIVE 650. Nice app and headphones. I broke my Sony and got this instead and have to say for 140 bucks the noise cancelling really ads in the mids and since I mess with eq it’s nice to be able too for certain music types. Have to say though, I wish it would tell me the battery strength without an app like the Sony did. Otherwise I like this better! Nice work cheers!
There ok earbuds. I don’t like the fact that the earbud’s don’t switch out from one to the other. Example you could be listening to music with the left one until the battery dies . When you put it on charge and switch to the right earbud you can’t hear nothing. So you have to end up going to settings to reconnect the earbuds again in order to use the right earbud. I’ve only had the earbuds switch automatically once. After that not.
Fantastic...except. I am unable to access the earbud control in the app while I am actively using them. If I want to turn on ambient aware while music is playing, for example, I have to restart the earbuds, pause the music, turn on ambient aware, and then turn the earbuds back on. Extremely annoying. Otherwise though, they offer great sound control.
JBL TUNE FLEX. I recently got these for my birthday on sale 50% off! They have been everything they advertised and working very well. The app is great and user friendly. I love the custom equalizer and other sound settings. The sound quality is very clear, and deep. I am very pleased with my JBL products and will be purchasing more in the future.
Live660NC. My experience thus far has been terrific. The noise canceling really works. Took multiple plane flights and it totally blocked the engine noise. Only problem was I guess my ears are a little big and by the time I got off the plane they were in a little pain. That’s literally the only problem I had.
Broken. I just threw these headphones out they are more unethical pharaoh peddled trash. Either the app my phone or headphones are an inoperable tumor. I cant ever get noise cancelling to work I have to perpetually reset the buds, delete the app downlad again and after 30 minutes of wasted time they may or may not work. I called JBLs laughable support and could not get any because there is no serial number printed on the hardware genius I will never buy anything JBL again I wasted countless hours trying to get this garbage to work out of the box.
Could be improved. I like my 660NCs but the beep when you take them off is annoying. I use mine reclined or in bed and anytime I turn my head it beeps because they shift ever so slightly. At first it would pause but I downloaded this app and was able to disable that. But they still beep. It’s annoying. I hope it will eventually allow me to disable the beep and hope it’s not a hardware issue. That’s probably the only thing keep me from giving it 5 stars.
App is Flawed, Headphones are Great. I love the headphones they’re loud and being able to do my own EQ is nice!! What I don’t like is the app. Th find my bud feature is flawed and doesn’t let me find my bud 75% of the time. It’s been missing since yesterday. In the room I’m in now. But the app doesn’t see it. So it’s pointless to have. It was one of the big reasons I bought them was for that feature. That’s why I’m at 3 stars. The headphones themselves app not included they’re 5 stars.
My Tour Pro 2 Headphones Do Not Connect To The App!. My new JBL tour pro 2 will not connect to the JBL Headphones app. I Tried every option I know of tried resetting etc and nothing. Done this several times. They connect to my phone & tablets Bluetooth just fine. But can’t use any of the app features, which was the whole reason I bought them. I was so excited. I’ve contacted JBL they had me try a couple different things but no change. I’ve emailed them again just waiting for the them to respond and tell me our next steps. It’s taking forever it seems.
They got it!. These buds though, nice to finally get a pair with the beats I like to pump! Be like in my truck with the inverted 15”s, not quite like that, but they hit.. Equalizer in the app is on point to be able to adjust. hands down best buds I’ve had to date. JBL is not disappointing with these..
Nice!. They work perfectly. I was concerned with the battery percentage that wouldn’t move for four days of heavy usage, but it then went to 90%. After another three days it went to 80%. So I guess it only displays round numbers. Other that that , I love it!!!
Add the JBL tune 660nc to the app. I have the JBL tune 660nc and on the JBL headphones app and on the app it doesn’t show that option on there if the JBL headphones app added the tune 660nc would be perfect but since it doesn’t you jus get the headphones and if it had the tune 660nc it would give you more information and more control over the headphones but since it don’t it do t really make any sense so could JBL headphones app please add the JBL 660nc to the app
Good until not. These headphones have clear sound quality but has volume limits, the bass is too high even when altered with the sound customization settings. The smart talk feature seems to cause the left bud to glitch and static especially in gyms, stores, on airplanes. Not good at all for talking on the phone, the callers find the background noise way too loud. The touch control feature is super sensitive so accidental song changes and pauses are a constant.
Not iPhone Compatible. They claim it is but the iPhone app cant find the Vibe Flex earbuds and does not offer a manual choice in any menu. So impossible to configure. And the tapping/pairing command structure is a Byzantine mess. I've wasted hours on this thing. I'll probably never buy JBL Anything ever again. I urge Apple to cancel this product since a careful reading of the instructions suggests they want you to move to Google/Android and AWAY from Apple.
Add Missing Devices. This would probably be a nice app unless you’re unlucky like me and bought a JBL device that isn’t supported by the app. I don’t understand why the TUNE670 and 770 are supported but the 760s aren’t. Why the random gap?? I love my headphones; the quality is great for the price which is substantial because I’m sure everyone’s aware of how crappy inexpensive bluetooth can be. Anyway, if you’re going to have an app for your devices, make all your devices available on the app. It just makes sense.
Doesn’t have my headphones. I stumbled upon the JBL app and i said to myself: this would be great sense i have 2 devices. I download the app and to my surprise, None of the devices i own are on here. The devices i won are the JBL Tune 500BT and the JBL Endurance peak 2. So if you could please add those it would be great
One star for now.... Greetings, I just bought the 125TWS and their not on here. Searched the Internet for a fix or information revolving around this and it sees I’m not the only one experiencing the fact this app is miss mine (and other types) of JBL headphones. In a time when brand and product means everything, where hard earned money is critically spent by those struggling, I thought possibly I made the smart choice going for 125TWS then say AirPods or Galaxy Buds, but I guess I thought too much :( I hope this changes. I hope I can get to experience what this app is meant to do for the consumer and maybe one day, what I was hoping to be excited about.
Very great app to bass up your music. Now I’ve been with JBL for 3 years now I have a JBL party box a flip 5 and 2 live500bt headphones and the product is still working I use the eqluizer to bass up my music a little bit and this is a great app for changing modes quickly for talkthru mode and any other modes 5 star review for products and app
Phone Heads. They’re great. The active cancel is pretty effective, the call quality is superb, the bass setting on the EQ is lovely. Only thing I would have added is a way to manipulate volume and skip songs from the buds themselves. Though, I may just not know how to do it.
Using JBL LivePro+ TWS. Very nice app, I just wish users have complete control over the gestures. For example, I don’t use noise cancelling at all but use the feature where I allow external sounds to come through. Instead of getting preset group gesture settings (NC/ambient sound, play/pause etc) I wish the user can combine any combinations of gesture settings.
Profoundly disappointing, only works with JBLs very latest products. Excited to try this, but when I try to use my brand new LIVE660NCs, it’s not listed on the devices supported in-app, when it absolutely is on the app description. Only the newer LIVE770NC is supported and when I tap that, it won’t work. Have been buying JBL tabletop Bluetooth devices lately and they are great. But this is a nonstarter as the headphones badly need to use the EQ, but this app won’t let me connect. Says it’s not supported despite it being almost brand new.
I would buy again. Overall this is a great option for the price. I got these on sale for 40 bucks. Noise cancellation is good enough and the battery life is solid. The app really adds a lot of value. JBL really did a great job making a budget set of ear buds feel premium. I have been using mine every day for about 8 months and no issues.
Developers are slacking.. These headphones have many software glitches. One of these issues is that even if you disable the touch controls, the voice control or Siri will still activate if you hold down the touch button. Also the ambient aware mode will automatically turn on when you are not near the charging container. Why is it so hard to fix these simple things?
$50 JBL. Worth the buy if u find them. So i bought the JBL 300 series ear bud from Ross in the Antelope Valley. Those things are awesome. Give u good ear quality long battery charges. Typically state of the art functions. I did not expect to perform so well for me. Long story short. I lost one of the ear buds Righty tighty and not the lefty loose. Now i have skullcandy. I miss my bulk white ear buds
Very nice. I love my new JBL headphones. JBL has been around a long time and their products are still superior. I’m looking forward to good sounding music. They feel good, good sound, good base. They charge fast and last long. I just wish I can tell how much battery life remains. I can’t tell on the app. Maybe I need to research that more. But that’s my only complaint. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Power indicator in the app. Please change the color of the text. It’s hard to read the charge levels. They are almost the same color as the background. Also, the way they are organized doesn’t make sense. Left, right, case? I keep thinking the case is the right pod and think something is wrong. Left, case, right makes more sense. If you actually read this, thank you.
The app needs work. The simple act of turning off the JBL Tune Buds and placing them in their case for charging, then connecting them 5 minutes later, causes them to not be recognized by the app even though they are connected by Bluetooth. My JBL Endurance 3 headphones do not have this problem. If the app doesn’t recognize that the JBL Tune Buds are connected you can’t use the equalizer. My final analysis is that the JBL Tune Buds do not sound great without extra bass from the equalizer. THE APP IS WORTHLESS! One app to cover 21 products. Don’t waste your time with this app.
Keeps losing settings. I Love my LIVE300TWS (I also own other JBL products not supported here) and this app makes them sound even more amazing. HOWEVER, it is EXTREMELY ANNOYING that every single time I use my headphones I have to re-enter the Gestures and other settings. Sometimes the app does not detect my device either. Fix this and this app will be Golden👍🏾
Do not charge properly. It was really excited about these earbuds and the sound is really good, but there is always problems with proper charging. 100% charged at suddenly one side is completely drained. It’s very annoying and I would not purchase these again if that problem is not rectified. I shouldn’t have to clean earbuds every time I use them.
Will not charge. Returned first pair for warranty because right ear would not connect or charge. JBL was helping by sending a replacement once they received my original purchase. On the second pair now and less than two months having the same issue with now both not charging. Went through all cleaning and troubleshooting steps with no luck. Never left reviews before but my flip3 and 4 speakers were great for about a year and now they create a bunch of static noise. I’m done with jbl-
LIVE PRO 2 - Not SUPPORTED device. Can someone please explain to me why the app does not show that my brand new warranty replacement headset from Harman Cardin is not available as a supported device using the JBL app? Why why why doesn’t anyone listen when I have been asking for App Development to be notified if the issues??? Never once have I been asked by App Development for my issues. Now I have a new, brand new in the Box, Live Pro 2, and ITS NOT SUPPORTED, screenshot is attached to prove I’m not crazy or making stuff up!

I’m a bit disappointed that you guys still haven’t added all the earbuds and headset catalog you would think you would have it being the rocks lineup and the price for them hope you guys can update the app adding more the audio is also a bit on the low end would love the loudness from the speakers on the earbuds
doesnt support tune760nc. if you have the tune760nc, DO NOT download this app. i received these headphones as a gift from an aunt and the app doesn't even have the tune760nc on it as an option. the app also doesn't support many other headphones as i’ve seen on google when i looked up why they're not on the app. also, whenever i want to connect my headphones to another device, i have to reset them. imo, don’t get jbl headphones! i recommend anything that isnt jbl.
Satisfied Customer. On my quest to find the right earbuds, I’ve had some highs and lows. However, these have been the highest of the high. Realistically, nothing is perfect, but they are perfect for me. The sound and clarity while listening to music or on phone calls is second to none that I’ve used. Thanks
Quality. I switched from Beats Buds to these, hands down no exaggeration this stay in my ear far more efficiently while also providing improved sound quality (with options in the app) and clarity. This may sound silly but I’m not sure if these have noise cancellation or not (Beats Buds did) but the quality I get from these far exceeds the previous!
Jbl is amazing. I’ll is the most advanced speaker / headphone company in my opinion being able to just listen to just the vocals or blasting the bass I couldn’t name another headphone that can do they also the talk through thing is amazing because when my mom is talking and I’m listening to music all I got to do is just pop that on and I can hear her
Good sound. I am pleased with the product but the app is severely lacking. Mostly it does not have any utility for the user, instead devoting most resources to marketing. Kind of disappointing. For example, I cannot see any of the text I am typing in the review. Also it is unnecessarily difficult to see functions in the application
Touch controls awful. Good sound and the app is decent. My biggest issue is the touch controls. If I hold them in my hand it will randomly make a phone call to anyone. I was able to disable the right ear bud in the app but had to leave the left earbud so I can adjust volume. You can’t just disable certain control aspects of the earbud in the app.
Won’t connect anymore.. I absolutely love my Live 660nc headphones but they no longer connect to the app. I have removed and reinstalled the app and still not connecting. The headphones still pair to Bluetooth and work absolutely fine so this is definitely an app issue.
Everything but.. I like everything about these headphones except for one thing and I’m a bit of an audiophile. I like thi gs to just work, I don’t want to have to read long manuals for things like headphones unless they have multilayered equalizers that are customizable and they can make Ringo Starr sound like Andrea Bocelli. So the big exception for me that are problematic are the difficulties experienced when trying to change pairings.
Great sound poor battery. Sound quality is superb!! Unfortunately, I’m on my third set after warranty returns for battery failure in the earpieces. One piece battery will inexplicably not recharge. I suspect it may have something to do with the contacts as the immediate remedy has been to reset the earpieces in the case and ensure the case remains tightly closed until the earpiece does recharge. PITA. One defective set, okay, but three? I can’t recommend for this reason alone, and it’s a shame because the sound is so good.
