Won’t connect. Says it will work on Rouvy Apple TV, but Rouvy can’t connect.

Don’t buy- get a real chest strap. Wasted 5 bucks- It’s very glitchy- Have to remove device and add every single time. The watch constantly stops sending data to my systems- and have to restart- Or it’s connected then after 20 minutes stops working. I want my money back

Help!. I walked through the steps in your video and can not get my HR to appear on my Garmin 1040. Please help!

Synced with Wahoo ELEMNT Roam perfectly, but…. Synced with Wahoo ELEMNT Roam perfectly. Update: it worked exactly once. Since then, the Roam forgets and re-pairs with the app just fine, but never displays the heart rate no matter how many times I restart the Roam, the phone, the app, the watch, repeat ad nauseum… I changed my rating from 5 to 3 not 1 because I suspect that the problem is the Roam not liking the Bluetooth signal from the app.

Inconsistent. Very inconsistent in pairing with garmin 840. It worked a couple times but it mostly doesn’t pair to the 840

Not Quite Ready for Prime Time. I tried using this app with a Wahoo Elemnt Roam. It connected fine and worked well with the Roam. Communication is via Bluetooth. The issue I have is that after using this app and the bluetooth connection, the Elemnt Roam will not easily connect to the Wahoo Elemnt app. Simply turning the Elemnt Roam off and on doesn’t work. I had to forget the Elemnt Roam bluetooth connection and reboot my iPhone to get the Elemnt Roam to connect to the Elemnt app. Too much work to get the Elemnt app connection to the Elemnt Roam hardware re-established for me - that is why I believe this app is not quite ready for general use with a Wahoo Elemnt Roam. The bluetooth connection issue needs to be resolved first.

‘N/A’ displayed on Wahoo Elemnt Roam 1. After following instructions and enabling all permissions, I was able to get it added as a sensor, but all I get is ‘n/a’ after wearing the watch and starting a ride for 10 minutes. Can you help out?

Apple Watch. I don’t want this running always on the Apple Watch, just when riding my bicycle.

Connection. I could not get the Apple Watch to record my heart rate via the HRM App even after giving it access via the Apple Watch Health App. Without Apple Watch the iPhone and Elemnt bike computer would not connect either. The instructions and trouble shooting was weak and not helpful. Very frustrating.

Works?. This app is very finicky. Once you turn back on the phone to my Garmin Edge 540 I don’t get weather until I turn off the app. You must turn off the phone on the Garmin to re-pair the iWatch to the Garmin after you shut down the Garmin. I want to just turn off my computer and have it all synced when I restart it. Basically you must go thru the whole re-pairing process to get the iWatch to work with the Garmin. Great idea, too cumbersome and time consuming. I’ll just use my Garmin Venu 3 since the heart rate just starts working after turning on my Garmin.

Couldn’t get it to connect to Garmin Edge 840. I really wanted to test this app out but I couldn’t get it to pair with my Garmin Edge 840. I followed the instruction and disabled the phone connection but the Edge 840 would not discover the HRM Heart Rate Monitor. Bummer.

Trash. Really wanted this to work, seems like a good concept. But won’t even get past the Bluetooth sync with the HRM app on my Apple Watch, says it can’t find my device three inches away. Bluetooth fully enabled and all other apps work. This just isn’t ready for prime time

Disappointed on Garmin Edge Explore. The heart symbol on the connected devices screen was alternately brighter and dimmer, (a beating heart?) which I assume meant it was receiving a signal. However, no heart rate showed up on the data screens. I was disappointed that it didn’t work and I canceled the free trial.

From Skeptical to Pleased (Updated). Update I tried very hard to get this to work consistently and failed. I couldn’t crack the code with my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, though I read and re-read the instructions and FAQ. I hope you have more success. I firmly believe this is a Wahoo issue, and I’d love to use the app. It’s nicely designed, easy to use, easy on battery, and I enjoyed it when I could get it to work. But most of the time I failed, so I gave up and bought an ANT+ heart rate monitor. Original I just bought a Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt + Favero pedals and realized that there was no way to add heart rate to the mix, which I had previously tracked in Strava on my Apple Watch. I found this app, was skeptical, but decided to gave it a try. It was no easier or harder to pair to the Wahoo Bolt than were the pedals. I expected it to quickly empty my 2+ year old watch’s battery or the phone or both. But after a 26 mile ride it had only used 14% on the watch and I had good heart rate stats. I’ll need to make sure the watch and phone batteries are topped up before riding, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll probably buy a strap-on HR monitor in the future for 70+ mile rides, but for now this app delivers on its promises for $5/year. That’s pretty good value IMO.

Re: great execution ut won’t work with Edge 830. I was really hoping it would work with my Edge 830. Can you explain why it will work with some Garmins and not others?

Move along - save your time and $$. Terrible integration with Wahoo Elemt. Just buy a real HRM.

Garmin edge explorer. Won’t connect to Garmin edge explorer

Can’t connect after performing all troubleshooting guidance. Please advise - I have a Garmin Edge 840. I have downloaded the app. I have subscribed to the app. I have synced the Garmin Edge with Garmin Connect. I’ve turned off the Garmin device and shut down Garmin Connect. I’ve turned on the HRM app. I’ve downloaded it to my Apple Watch. I have opened it on my Apple Watch. I have verified that the Apple Watch is synced to the HRM app on my phone. I have turned on the Garmin device. I have gone into the connect submenu on the Garmin Edge and disabled my phone. I’ve gone into the sensors menu and attempted to add a heart rate sensor. And the Garman is unable to find a connection. I have repeated this entire process on 4 occasions. Please advise.

App is Garbage. Have to delete and reconnect for each and every ride. It quits working mid.ride!!! So I guess you are supposed to stop your workout every time is disconnects to attempt to reconnect which does not work better that half the time. A total ripoff and should be removed from the Apple App Store!

Does EXACTLY what you need it to do!. This app does exactly what it says it does. I can now use my Apple Watch with my cycling computer to monitor and display my heart rate while riding. The developer is also very quick to respond to emails and is very helpful!

Works well. The app isn’t too expensive and works well for syncing heart rate to my Garmin.

Needs to handle disconnects better. I fully realize there are challenges in making this product work. That said, if I stop during a ride and walk away from my bike for a bite to eat or a drink, I am guaranteed I’ll have to go through some sort of a dance to get my heart rate showing on my computer if I want my workout to continue, and it always makes me regret forgetting my heart rate strap. I kinda want my money back. I’m canceling my subscription and will only re-up if I see a commitment to making this work better in the future. I am using a Wahoo ELEMNT which is not on the officially supported list. That will be changing soon and if that makes things better I will update this review.

Connection issues. I really wanted to love this app. Unfortunately it would disconnect constantly, then wouldn’t connect again to my wahoo. I’d have to delete it and reinstall and it would work for a short time again. I need things to work, and this does not. Too bad.

Connects the first time then doesn’t again. Connects to my Garmin the first time you set it up but then won’t again till I delete and redo it again. Just couldn’t ever get it to work for a ride.

Works on Schwinn 🚴🏼. Thank you for this app!! Works very well with my Schwinn 800IC and I don’t use any other heart rate sensor anymore

Does half of what I need it to do. You can cast heart rate to your Garmin device, but you cannot concurrently pair your phone to your garmin device (which means no modifications via garmin connect, no alerts). If HR2VP does this, it’s a better app.

Clever app that solves a problem. Glad someone made this. I have the Garmin Edge 130 and I followed his setup video and it works seamlessly. Really glad I don’t have to wear an additional HR monitor to get this data into Garmin.

Frustrating. Was hoping this app can solve my problems but it didn’t. Worked the first time setting up on my Karoo 3, but after it would connect but not show my HR. It would always just be stuck at 0. I really wanna believe this app can be saved but there are just too many issues. Maybe I’m missing a step or something. Please please any help would be appreciated

Doesn’t work.. I tried to link to Garmin 840. After reading about how to do this I struggled. I was finally able to get the garmin to recognize the app, but all it did was search for the sensor(the Apple Watch) for ever. Never worked. How do I cancel my subscription so I don’t get charged for it again next year?

Does not play well with others. Cannot use Wahoo Elemnt app while using this. After using this, will not release Bluetooth connection, so still cannot use Elemnt app. Have to turn off Bluetooth permission for HRM App, then Elemnt app finally works. Was not worth the hassle for me.

Frustrating to pair with Garmin Edge 540. Its a matter of luck when pairing this device. I was able to do it once before but now I can't. I followed the guide and know about the race condition.

Works with Hammerhead Karoo 2. I appreciate the developers work and responsiveness and I got this to pastor last night. Will update as I use it. But thankfully a great workaround.

Crash in Specialized Mission Control. Hi I tested your system for two days and it’s crashed the app that we use to connect the Specialized Levo turbo bike with Mission Control app. In this app you can block the bike and program motor use in each eco. Trail and turbo. Try it. Thank you

Did not work. Followed instruction on app and video to tey to connect to a brand new Wahoo Roam. Nothing worked

Cannot connect to Karoo 2. Wanted this to be the solution to connect my watch to my Hammerhead Karoo 2 but could never get it to pair. Tried everything in the instructions, from turning on the app before starting the Karoo, unpairing the iPhone to the Karoo first, following the order to what to start and turn on first…. Nothing seemed to work. Time to go buy a proper HRM with a strap, I guess.

HRM on Wahoo Bolt. Got it to work. Took a bit but its great to see HR displayed on Wahoo. I notice that when I shutdown it goes into mode of needing to turn crown on watch to eject water???. One clarification is whether the HR data is merged w ride data available from Wahoo or is the HR there only for display?

Garmin 1030. Unfortunately doesn’t work in my 1030,I could know it before to download the app,but keep working on it.

It worked for me! Garmin 840. I read some reviews that did not work for some people, but decided to give it a try. By following the instructions to setup on the watch, Including enabling the app on the watch, naturally, I was able to get it working with my Garmin 840 edge. Make sure you disconnect the Garmin connected features on the bike computer, before trying to add the HRM app sensor to the Garmin. When finished with a workout, I did find that I had to disconnect the HRM app on bike computer, and then manually reconnect the bike computer to the Garmin connect app before my workout would sync. This works well, when you forget your heart rate strap on a trip. It’s only $5. I don’t know about other Garmin bike, computers, but it worked on my Garmin 840.

Elegant solution. If you have an Apple Watch and a compatible device this solution will will save you the time, trouble, and money of buying an additional heart rate monitor to use with your compatible bicycle computer (or other approved device). I use it with a Garmin Edge Explore 2 and it seamlessly syncs heart rate from Apple Watch into the Garmin data field eliminating the need to purchase a separate 70$+ heart rate monitor, and the cumbersome process of applying it. Excellent customer support experience.

No connection. I have the Garmin Edge 1040 Solar which is in the list of compatible devices. I have tried everything that is suggested and it unfortunately just doesn’t connect.

Struggling to get the app to load on my iPhone. Was excited to try this. The app downloads onto my watch ok but does not install on the phone. Just hangs on the subscription screen. Shame. Sounded promising.

It can work. I managed to get it to work! But every time I quit cycling - it then fails to reconnect to my Edge 1040, and is VERY difficult to reconnect! The connection between iPhone 15pro and Egde 1040 is extremely poor! Other Bluetooth apps I have reconnect seemlessly every time! Unless this is fixed I will be cancelling my subscription soon!

Works perfectly !. Works perfectly on my series 3 AW and Garmin 130+. Does exactly what it’s meant to - sends out a Bluetooth HR signal for your compatible device to connect to.

Only occasionally works. Works about 2 out of 10 times I use it. Have to constantly forget and re-pair the app to my wahoo, sometimes it fixes the problem but most times it doesn’t. Wahoo shows the app is connected but there’s no data feeding into it despite my heart rate displaying on my watch and phone.

Garmin Edge Explore. This app is amazing! Saved me from having to wear a separate HRM using a bike computer as the Apple Watch isn’t supportive of ANT+. Well done to the developer!

Does NOT support modern Garmin devices. Sadly this does not work with Garmin Edge 530/830/10x0 devices. Unfortunately this is not in the app description or in any screen before the subscription paywall… ☹️

Great but not perfect. Work as intended most of the time with my garmin 840. Sadly sometime it refuse to connect/reconnect. When it is connected the logging work and it is transfert to other app as expected. Also would prefer an option with a one time fee instead of a subscription plan.
