Like Word, the MS PowerPoint app is simple, easy to navigate, and great for presenting with iPad on the go! Couldn't live without it :) Thank You!

Continuous Improvement required  DaddyBruce  4 star

This app is a daily driver for iPad presentations. With only a few exceptions the iPad version offers most of the functionality of the desktop version. Keep improving...

Lazy design  Irving()  2 star

To start out, who decided on making the default for ALL themes to be ALL CAPS??? Very poor style for any kind of presentation and very difficult to change. MS shows how lazy they can be!

Can't change line spacing  1234q4321  2 star

You can't change basic line spacing (e.g. 1 to 1.5 to 2). This is such a basic function! The app allows for fancy rotating of text but can't do this? Otherwise the app works well enough.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, still not fixed after update WTH!!  Adamalb09  1 star

As a med student who heavily utilizes PowerPoint to review lectures and take notes, I've been satisfied with the app over the past 6 months with my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. The compatibility with iCloud made it easy to access my lectures across all my devices. However, Microsoft needs to keep things simple and stop trying to improve things that don't need to be improved! After the April update I had to delete and re download the app multiple times as certain presentations were failing to open. Also, for whatever reason, when in presentation mode (how I primarily take notes) the eraser doesn't work anymore. I have to continuously exit presentation mode to erase. Another annoying thing is that sometimes the app freezes and the app doesn't allow me to escape from presentation mode and wont respond to anything but a force quit. Another issue I absolutely hate the new interface for "notes". In previous versions, the notes icon would remain grey if there were no notes typed and be red if notes were present. This was helpful when reviewing lectures initially to see if the professor had added extra notes in addition to the slide. Now every slide has a red notes icon weather there are notes written or not! You can only imagine the anxiety all of these bugs give me especially when trying to get everything down from my hasty professors flying through material. I love this app but please Microsoft fix these issues so I can fix this review. If not I may need to revert to a third party note taking app.

This app is the most useful tool for the students to have their projects on the go, in case you would like to make any adjustments to your presentation. It almost feels like your in the computer making the PowerPoint slideshows.

DOES NOT SAVE!  Gbubughjj  1 star

I had written a 12 slide project due the following day. I then tried to save the powerpoint and it would not save, the inly way it was eligable to save was if I upgraded to office 360. This was a very bad time woth PowerPoint, and I do not reccomend using it without the intention to download the upgrade pf Office 360. I am very dissapointed, and now have to start my whole project over again one Google Presentation, which I HIGHLY reccomend over this Microsoft App. I was very dissapointed in the way the problem was solved, because I had to rewrite the whole project over again. I chose the PowerPoint app because it offered a varietal theme selection, that was more preffered over Google's... yet Google SAVES YOUR WORK! So, I decided to stick with Google Presentations. This was a awful experience and I will never use Microsoft PowerPoint again.

I prefer to work with my IPaD with this App as is more practical. Very useful to study the presentation.

Does not save!  DFofDF  1 star

Previously, opening/editing a presentation from OneNote into the PPT app would save changes back in OneNote. After this update, the PPT app no longer saves changes to OneNote! Very frustrating as I essentially cannot take notes anymore! This applies to version 2.0 through 2.0.3 (newest version) of PPT.

Terrible  R0iB0i  2 star

Good to use sometimes but I will definitely not pay a subscription for some services. Especially to save my projects. I'll use WPS instead now. Microsoft has gone down hill.

This app is to trash . It gave me so many problems. It always have a problem connection to wifi, and there's always a problem need to be fixed when I have to log in. I shouldn't have to Re log back in every time I get on this app.

Great app. Takes some getting used to but it's well worth the patience. Plus you don't really have to lug your laptop around for PowerPoint.
