Simple, Elegant, Functional. When I replaced my 4s with a 6s, the radio/alarm/charger I have used for years would not work with the lightening connector. As I explored options, I realized I rarely used the radio/speaker function, so I went with a simple "HiRise deluxe" black metal charging stand. I needed a clock function for the phone and like the elegance of a simple analog face rather than numerals. I was not interested in weather, music, pics etc. This turned out to be the perfect app. Easy to see, easy to set, and the perfect compliment for a black phone on a contemporary black stand. I have not had need for the advanced functions of the paid version - just tell me the time, wake me up, and compliment the room. Thank you.

A Great Find!. I have really appreciated my clock. It has made my life so much easier. The light behind the clock does not shine so brightly that it keeps me awake at night. It is just the right brightness that I can see the clock when I happen to wake in the middle of the night. I am so grateful to have found it.

Doesn't work. The alarm doesn't work when I set it for a test run. Tried several times, each time I triple checked to make sure it was set and on. Definitely glad I tested it, would hate to be late for work!

Clock is ok. Alarm is a bit of pain. It's clean and simple. I use it instead of a watch in things like meetings. The alarm functionality is the least possible (and still have an alarm). It also seems to get set ON or OFF fairly randomly.

Perfect. Simple nice and takes second to set a new alarm

Disappointing. There does not seem to be a way to make the green alarm hand disappear. Even worse, I cannot set the alarm to 7 am. It is currently 3:00 pm here. As I sweep the alarm hand around the face, the displayed alarm time jumps from 02:59 to 15:00 when the alarm hand passes over the 3.

Some troubles. The last update appears to mess with brightness in my iPhone. It also default alarm volume every time. There should second hand of red color in option. It would be better look if second hand of red color added to show seconds !

Meh.... An absolutely beautiful analogue clock that I want! A totally unreliable alarm. Submitted a request to the dev to fix in this version & pro. We'll see if it gets fixed.

Problems. The clock doesn't turn for landscape mode. It also messes with my phone's brightness level outside of the app. Also, if alarm is disabled, do not show the green hand on the clock. Design is simple and attractive, but the UX is less than optimal.

Nice clock, drains battery. I like the design-Highly readable, simple to set the alarm. It puts a high drain on the battery though. I'd like to keep it on overnight as a night clock but I tried that once and the battery almost went to zero. Still useful though.

Drains battery!. I love the clock face, but I deleted the app because it drains my iPhone battery dead, even when it ran in the background.

Volume. You can't listen to the radio while the radio is running. Taking a show I like to listen to Pandora but would also like to know what time it is when I get out of the shower. With Pandora running, if you switch over to the clock the music fades away

Clock has been awesome for years. I use the alarm clock pro for many years on my dedicated iPhone 6. I only use it for the clock function on my nightstand. It stopped working today and I haven’t made any changes to the phone or the app. I went through all of the settings on my iPhone but could not get it to work anymore. I contacted the developer but have not received a reply

Simple, elegant. Too bad it nags.. Design is great. App constantly nags you to "go pro" which is annoying and unstoppable. Also nags to post a review here. We'll see if doing so stops the nagging.

Elegant. Once you turn the volume setting to your desired level, this alarm does a great job. Ensure that you plug it in while you're using it as a night-lite / clock, as it will surely drain your battery dead overnight...

Simple, clean, elegant. Love the look and feel. However, seems like clock hands could be proportioned slightly differently to improve legibility. Setting alarm hand easier too, perhaps?

Great clock. I don't really need an alarm clock but I like having this stay on the screen when I need it and my hands are not free. It works great, the only thing I would change is make the hour hand a little shorter so it's easier to read the time at a glance. Thanks!

Tired of Alarm Clock Co's clock flashlight feature?. Before I had the Alarm Clock Co.'s clock, which I got in order to have a "portable" clock around the house for like when getting ready in the bathroom before wearing a watch and or in situations like cooking, where both hands might be busy. To be fair, I do not need an alarm or any other feature because those are well covered by the Apple supplied app. Well, it gets really annoying that it turns the flash on feature from what it seems like any movement. I tried cutting access to the camera to see if that would turn the feature off but it did not on mine. That is when I started looking for a replacement that did not have additional features to the clock. This one is absolutely perfect and until Apple's does a clock that features a large clock that doesn't turn off, I am sticking with this one!

A great clock and alarm!. It’s perfect and amazingly similar to a small Casio travel alarm I previously owned, right down to the clock face and alarm. I highly recommend this app to others needing a dependable alarm.

Caused problem with iPhone auto shutoff. At first I thought this was a neat app, but after the most recent update, I'm going to delete it. The main problem is that my iPhone 5 cannot turn itself off anymore after inactivity, even though the clock is turned off. The hands of the clock are too similar in size so it is difficult to determine the time, especially if the clock is placed at an angle in an attempt to reduce the brightness. (The dimmest setting now seems brighter after the latest "update".) Also the alarm is unreliable. DELETE, here I come!

Alarm clock one touch basic & pro. Neither one of these work!!! Basic has a better rating than pro. DO NOT BUY PRO!!! You are wasting your money if you buy pro!!!

Alarm clock. Great

Minimalist and functional. A beatiful, analog clock that works simply and simply works. It did require a complete deletion, download, and reinstal on a new iPhone 5S, but then it worked perfectly. My one, ongoing complaint concerns the obtrusive, green alarm hand; if only it could be hidden when the alarm was not being used.

Superbly simple design, yet a couple of extras I crave for the Pro Version — optional Second Hand (very thin and matching color of alarm hand); option to change theme color from green to other "bright" colors; option to make alarm hand to shrink to 70% it's current length three seconds after being set to a new time. Thanks for a great app!

Simple, attractive, fast to use. Recommended. While I use Living Earth as for my morning awakening, this has become my main supplementary alarm. I use if for naps etc, anything where I want to start a clock up quickly. It is very quick to start, and looks lovely. It would get 5 stars from me if it had some kind of fine-grained control over the alarm hand. It's hard to set to an exact minute because the control can be a bit coarse. Not a big deal though.

Battery. Only one massive issue is that the app completely drained my iPhone 6s battery in 3 hours. Can't use it if I have a flat phone.

Only fair. I rated this only fair because I found the alarm hard to set at any particular time. It seems to have a mind of its own.

Never Fails. I use the alarm clock every day, and like the endless choice of presetting several wake up times for different mornings, depending on need. Make sure you turn off snooze if you don't want it - nothing worse than being in the shower and the alarm goes off again waking up the household!

Where is the volume control???. It used to be great, now is crappy on the iPhone 6+. No volume control. Today it decided to go off at full volume and woke up everybody in the house. Stay away from this one.

Too bright. Interacting with the clock (late at night) causes the screen to brighten to unacceptable levels. Difficult to dim screen in app. Clock will not rotate with screen.

Simple but limited. Simple. Works ok. Swipe will not reduce brightness to lowest level. That's really the only problem.

Faulty alarm. On the pro app. Cannot use 24 hr setting. If phone is set for 24 hr, alarm does not work for hours between 1 and 9. If phone is set for 12 hr setting, it works. So this alarm clock cannot be used if your phone is set for 24 hr.

I like it so much but ...... This app messed up with the brightness level i set in iOS settings , and turned sceen brightness to maximum ( without moving brightness control slider set by me before ) each time i moved the alarm clock from background to the foreground again . Please fix it or my phone battery will run low and die out even before the alarm could go off the next day . LoL . Then i will give it a 5 stars .

Clock app. Clock itself is excellent. Alarm feature is useless not loud enough and will not work in background. I use without alarm on and use the phone alarm this has worked flawless like this.

Unreliable, don't buy this. iPhone 4s, pro version. Good design but extremely unreliable... Sometimes the music alarm works, others it doesn't. Default alarm sound rings for a very short time. Waste of $, uninstalled.

Great - just one thing.... I can't wake up to the default volume level, and each time I go to the app it resets to a very low volume level. I can turn it up while it's beeping, but I'd have to be awake for that. A volume control option with a level lock would be a great feature for me.

Need battery indicator. Initially looked like a nice clean clock face and got this to have it open all the time especially while working. Looks/works okay but no battery indicator means I must keep checking/worrying whether I have enough battery left. Too much of a bother so won't be using this app at all. I have better things to worry about 😜

Clean and dim. I haven't used the alarm function, but I love it as a nightstand clock, except that at 4am when I wonder what time it is, the hour hand isn't short enough to discern the difference between it and the minute hand. Trying something else for a bit.

I like it except.... I would have like to keep this app, but it's sadly not functional at night as it's way too easy to accidentally reset the alarm. Removing app. Bye. Additionally, the latest update appears to mess with the brightness on an iPhone when exiting the app. former review (5 star): This app is simple to use and efficiently designed. Unlike many bloated apps out there, this one appears to consume very little memory. Excellent because you can actually use it and leave it running. Two requests: 1. Please permit the user to trigger the alarm ON or OFF. In the present version, merely moving the green alarm dial accidentally triggers on an alarm (and the alarm setting moves about too easily). In the middle of the night when your alarm rings because you've accidentally moved it, is Not Cool! Perhaps a long push delay before the green alarm dial can be moved would help. 2. Someone else covered it ... the volume thing.

Awesomeness, except.... PLEASE fix volume issue PLEASE This is a great alarm clock but it needs to have a fix for the volume. Every time I use this app it defaults to the low volume, and even when turned all the way up it really isn't that loud. Also maybe a snooze integration of some kind (yes I know the style you are replicating does not have this feature but it would be nice for the iPhone :-) ) Please fix the default volume issue and I will change this review from 2/5 to 5/5 stars!!! elegant looks, two problems. Nice, elegant interface. 2 big problems: 1. alarm won't sound if in background with the phone sound muted. 2. You get a choice of one alarm sound only. If I could choose my own sound plus depend on that sound working even with the app in background/phone muted, this would be perfect.

Elegant. Beautifully simplistic design. Reminds me of the Braun alarm clocks from the late 80's & early 90's. The only fault that I can find (and is a small one), is that there isn't a snooze function. One shot is all you get...but then again, isn't the purpose of an alarm clock to wake you up?
