Network Analyzer Pro Comments & Reviews 2026

One of the few apps I could live without. I am a software engineer and mostly I use Network Analyzer Pro to check my home office system. I could use the same utilities from either my desktop or laptop, but the ability to do it from my iPad and iPhone is much more convenient. It made it easy to inform my ISP that something was wrong on the line as I could check the pings and see them dropping out, resulting in the ISP going out and finding a loose wire that was shorting out. Great App, used it for years, I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Must have for Network Admins. The nifty app has a comprehensive set of tests and tools for IT/Network guys. It allows you to view network information on your iOS device that’s not limited to just WiFi. It can read and test from Cellular and Ethernet connections as well. You have the ability to accurately traceroute, dns lookups etc, as well as the ability to ping (variable packet size and timing) and run speed tests that plots the speed fluctuations over a set period of time. The upload test portion of it isn’t as robust from my experience but their servers can definitely take upwards of 70 Mbps which is more than sufficient for most tasks in residential and commercial environments. Of all the features, I’d commend the LAN scanner the most. I use it often and I like the fact that it shows you in the GUI which devices have a web interface, are pingable, or support IPV6. You can even access the web interface by clicking the link within the app itself. TL;DR - Get the paid version for sure if you are even a novice Network Admin, you’ll like it

Net Analyzer helped me balance my WIFI Network. After scanning, I viewed the devices on my WIFI and moved some from 5 Mbps to 2.5 Mbps to improve streaming. I had an older iPad, iPhone, and printers using up bandwidth that I needed for my Smart TV, Apple, and Roku TV boxes. The TVs were buffering and after I made changes, the buffering stopped. Also in these recent times with Covid-19, many users are on WIFI, so I test for download and upload speeds. I can view when the speed is compromised. When it is real bad, usually on weekend mornings, I place a call the ISP and they usually restore service. I like this tool so well, I now use the premium version. I previously used other network speed testing apps until I found Net Analyzer, where you can view all your devices and what frequency they occupy. I hope in the future a spectrum analyzer is available to improve setting up a device to an unused or less used channel. I recommend this to everyone.

Best Network Tool. This is the best collection of LAN/WAN info gathering tools that I’ve found on the App Store. I use it for tasks ranging from: • polling local devices for NetBIOS and host names/IP addresses/MAC address to tasks such as • running ping, traceroute, port scanning, whois, and dig commands against remote domains (and IP addresses where logically possible) The one feature that I’ve had persistent issues with is the speed test. This feature also provides surprisingly little info about the sessions’ connection and quality information. It honestly feels like the speed test feature development was abandoned years ago. That being said, the app is still the best set of networking info tools that I’ve found. 4.999 stars!

Speed test bug. Sadly, Apple has rendered a lot of these functions dead for one reason or another but the speed test was always great. However, one of the recent updates caused the speed test to display wildly contradictory information. The bitrate counter at the bottom will show 19mbps while the graph shows over 400mbps during the same interval. (They used to match). It also no longer records dips to zero and outtages and disconnections during the test which it did before. This app used to be good evidence for an ISP but now it’s oddly inaccurate.

Bait and switch!. I bought this to be able to see network devices and give them custom names. Surprise surprise they don’t notify you that you can’t do this until you buy it and then they display a FAQ in a bright yellow box saying you can’t do custom names. If it is important enough to create a overhead FAQ in yellow identifying a limitation problem then it should be in the description of the app! That is a bait an switch! Who doesn’t want custom device naming? Uh, everyone who manages a network wants it. It has been a big enough complaint obviously they created a FAQ. Then that info SHOULD be included in the product description! While Apple is the cause, they still know it exists and people want it, yet chose to not disclose it before buying the app from them!! Sorry, that is deceptive practices! App is useless for me and I’m out my money while they get rich of duped users!

Net Analyzer is a great app. Thank you.. Very good app and the features i am still trying to figure them all out lol This app is definitely worth the funds that are required to purchase it. The app is packed with lots of features. Take the time to sit down and open the book and read and learn what the app does before leaving negative feedback for someone. If you will take a minute to educate yourself and learn how to use this app. Thank you guys for a great app.

CCIE input: Good, maybe great app... could use features. WHAT WORKS... * Pretty graphics, good menu layout and a slick UI that you’d expect from iOS * Fast and responsive app experience * Network info is as good as you can ask for in iOS... there are the well known limitations on WiFi signal info that are missing but that’s addressed in their missing-features FAQ * Network Test has excellent granularity. I shape my traffic and it’s easy to watch the shaper kick in at this granularity EXISTING FUNCTIONALITY GAPS... * Test functionality needs: configurable server address, configurable test duration, Auto vs configurable MSS, time-stamped test stats export * Traceroute needs: TCP support with configurable port, mtr function with multi-path detection and time-stamped stats export (json?) * DNS needs: TCP and DNS over HTTPS support MISSING FEATURES... * ICMP Black hole detection and PMTUD test: ie is the ICMP Fragment Needed message delivered, and output info about the ICMP response, such as MTU size needed, inner packet header info, etc... * curl-style tool with throughput graphs and detailed socket stats output/ export * TLS Cert info To respond... penningtonthing /at\ the google-mail SaaS domain

Great until Apple’s iOS 11 restrictions. This is a good tool for WiFi geek types like myself. Handy IT networking tool for Pre iOS 11. This is not the fault of the developer. In iOS 11, apps can no longer access MAC addresses in the ARP table. I’m not sure what other limitations this application now has on my 8 Plus. There are some things that are missing, mainly signal strength and signal to noise ratio as well as the noise floor. It would also be nice if it reported the channel of the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Your iPhone or iPad is on one so the hardware knows, but Apple may not allow access to this information.

Get This System Status - Together = 👍🏼. This (and it’s Sister App) are probably the most used on my iPhone(s). Simply put, these Apps gives you a peak into what’s going on underneath the surface of your device. A simple analogy - Think of it like this; let’s say you own a car and you never look at the instrument panel and/or gauges (speed, fuel, oil, temperature etc). You just drive the car and hope for the best. First, you’re going to run out of fuel because you aren’t monitoring the level. (eventually the same with oil, and engine temperature.) Second, if you don’t know the speed you’re driving, you’re going to either lose control and crash. attract the attention of the police, be pulled over and cited. Maybe you’ll be driving faster than the speed limit or perhaps you’ll be driving slower than the speed limit and clogging traffic. The point is ... you’re either using your device or (machine) properly or you’re not. This (and it’s Sister App) act like a full instrument panel for your device and your network. Highest Recommendation!

Extremely powerful tools!!. This app is extremely useful for both the professional and the curious layman - it's fascinating to see everything that's going on on within your network/device and the developer continually supports the app Don't forget to check the FAQs and other documentation! - the developer gives you a comprehensive, easy to understand explanation of everything the app is telling you a HUGE thank you to the developer!

Excellent and Reliable. There are a million mobile network scanner on the iOS market. I have had this one for 13 to 15 years and it has never once let me down. I don’t know if it’s increased in price, but however, much it cost. I think it pays to get the pro version. it is the perfect blend of well designed user interface and features that beginners to intermediate level technically proficient individuals can appreciate. You won’t be afraid to use your app. It won’t make you feel stupid. I love this thing. I paid for it once and I would pay for it every year, but I don’t have to. It’s perfect.

AN INVALUABLE TOOL FOR I.T.. This app provides way more information for the IT professional than I have room here to list. The speed test feature is graphically superior to anything I've seen so far. The LAN feature will provide MORE information about your local network than you could ever imagine. If you work as an IT technician, this app will provide you with a wealth of invaluable information!

INVALUABLE. As a system engineer I support the vast Kennedy Space Center and surrounding Air Force and Space Force bases. It’s a lot of ground to cover with over 100 buildings, thousands of devices and a very secured network infrastructure. The information I can get out of this single app can help solve 90% of connectivity issues that I troubleshoot. Testing new infrastructure and how it affects our current one is also very important. I would rate this a 5 if it included some simple calculators that would help detail the troubleshooting. Like an IP | Subnet | Netmask | Network calculator for reference to the data that the app finds I use this almost everyday to not only troubleshoot but to ensure things are running smoothly!

Simple and effective…. Most of my day is spent verifying all performance aspects of my networks. This app often proves that things are working when others are not sure. And this app can cause me embarrassment to find out I screwed up some setting that caused a problem. The various tools are ideal for my use. Apple recently blocked the network scanning from being able to identify specific device types. That’s the only bummer.

App Illuminates Occult Knowledge, Allows Man to Taste Core of Apple. Hey, Apple, I’m talking to you…soooo, why not? Cuz this pairing of apps provides essential information! Why do I need to employ a third party in order to gain a little situational awareness, Apple?! Not the tactic of a copilot, let alone a combat veteran that needs the top guns! Stop tasting our sweet juicy data and memory-holing it to the priestly class of your occult dev(il)s! It’s common knowledge that knowledge is power, and for unlawful carnal knowledge, BigFruit wants us powerless, like a hellish Cupertino Air conditioner during wildfire season! Are they evil, or are they misunderstood? Are they rotten to the core, or is this simply a misunderstanding between a big worm and we birds who flock? You can and are able to prophesies that these apps are now and shall be installed on every one of my networked iFruits, whole eBooks, iPhondle slabs, and WacProse. Given the world market our dear demigod has created, having rested on the seventh day whilst ignoring the pleas of we drowning men, the App Store is now overly ripe with men playing God in attempt to right the perceived slight…and not all we cut from the same cloth. THIS APP IS THE BEST AROUND - its never gonna let ya down! Thank Heavens!

Net Analyzer. I bought this 2 years ago & have used it at least once a week since that time. I’m able to run basic & quick Network tests to begin my troubleshooting routine. Sometimes it answers all the needed questions & points to a solution without using my expensive equipment or programs. Unfortunately, it’s limited when working with Apple device connectivity issues, but it gives me enough information to make an informed decision. I’m satisfied with this app, especially at the price I paid for it.

Love it…use it daily…. Admittedly, I’m a power user. 16 webcams, +100 smart devices, 3 Alien routers, 4 APs & one VPN server. This is my "go to" too when setting up new devices or checking existing ones. The ping / trace route are invaluable when checking on server connectivity issues. Because this app is on my iPad Pro, I no longer have to use the PCs to analyze issues. It’s a great time saver. For fun, check it out on a plane or hotel hotspot! See who’s around you!

A rare gem: functional, simple, and fairly priced cli on the go. It is not often these days you can find an actually useful tool on the app store that doesn’t require a subscription. Network Analyzer Pro is packed with all the bells and whistles one would expect from a UI based network tool. Nice to have so many tools available without dropping into a terminal, especially the port scanning. I assume the port scanner backend is an nmap lib of some sort, as it has similar feature flags. The results are surfaced in a nice layout and with an extra nice feature of storing results from prior scans. This is great for keeping track network devices at VRBO/Airbnb type places; I’ve caught one IP camera so far, to my own surprise!

Excellent tool for diagnosis & comprehension of NW issues. I’ve relied upon this and other of their technical tool kit to gain understanding of network behavior vs equipment interconnected on LAN/WAN. True in today’s world much data and data crunching for AI and other high IO/multi processor array functions reside outside your physical domain but finally the product of all that effort generates huge spurts of information back to your systems. Because old legacy hardware often resides on your grid right along side of the latest and greatest equipment, it can be a chore to diagnose network functionality and performance. ‘Network Analyzer Pro’ is great as your first source of network performance analysis allowing you to then drill down with more granular test equipment to isolate problematic hardware or software issues. Keep up the good work!

Best networking debug app for the price!. This is my go to have to locate a device, debug my small home network with more than 30 devices some times things don’t always work the way they are supposed to. DHCP sometimes device IP move around with a router reboot, or the name of particular device is not clear but you want to login to it....this is you’re tool. Can easily scan and locate those devices with an open port 80 then launch the browser quickly from inside the tool. Best networking tool!

Excellent utility. Includes every networking tool I ever wanted and then some. Lots of detailed information. Makes locating problems on my network easy. The only issue I have is a minor gripe about the interface — it’s not obvious (to me) that hitting “new” on the “tools” page is the way to start testing something. The interface on that page is built around a history list that I don’t use much. So it ends up just getting in the way of me finding the tool pane I want (host + tool — go). It’s just a moment to remember what to do, plus an extra click, so not a big deal. The capabilities and information more than make up for it.

Good app. Just wish it had one thing. So I purchased this app after messing with the Fing app. I say messing because that all seldom worked right, or at all and I was frustrated so I just bought the app. Good decision as this app works so much better and gives you more information. I do wish for two things and they are small stupid things that shouldn’t prevent you from purchasing this. First is I wish you could manually map your network. I have limited my WiFi router to only have enough IP addresses for all my devices and each is assigned an IP by MAC address. So I always know what device is going to get what internal IP. I wish you could map this all in advanced and then when you ran the scan it would identify the ones online and offline. Much like the Fing app. This was the only thing I found useful there. The other is I just wish the GUI was updated a little and didn’t look like it was an older iPhone app. But cosmetics don’t really matter when what is under the hood is so powerful. Great app and with every cent I paid.

Update 2026: still love it and part of my toolbox! Excellent Network At-Moment management utility. Been using the pro bundle (system status and network analyzer PRO) for a few years now, and they are a must-have (specifically PRO versions. Must admit to have benefited from a one-time purchase for the PRO upgrades. They are Not just valuable for quick analysis, but it does provide a extensive details allowing for robust information gathering of your own assets and keys information for effective issues troubleshooting and resolution. Quite the “swiss-army-knive” app bundle for me.

A Trusted Pal. I’ve used others, and I test these results. I prefer NOT to rely on what the cable company’s own app tells me because of how it’s presented. AND this app goes beyond my walls to quantify the speed of connection to remote DNS, data centers, whatever! It’s quick and easy and intuitive to use, I never needed instructions. I’ve used it to troubleshoot work connections, as well as frequent use at home. Checking after new equipment installations. After power outages. Rely on Network Analyzer Pro - you’ll be glad!

Straight forward solid network scan tool. If you want a quick, easy, and by and large accurate scan of the devices on your WiFi network this is a great tool. You’ll get devices, remote services, and some basic tools like port scanning. It’s very simple to use and very quick to run a scan. Don’t expect advanced or sophisticated recon, but expect a very easy app that will quickly give you a baseline idea of what’s out there. I’d pay for it again even at twice the cost because it’s so handy and convenient. Good job with this one.

Works as intended but not always insightful for the network novice. I found the app good for figuring out whether after connecting to the WiFi why I am not able to connect to the internet. At level 1 you know you do not have internet connection because you are not connected to an external IP but not the reason for it (which would be level 2). Also it would be nice to see from the tool which WiFi band and channel gives you the best throughput and least interference from other networks.

DagNabbitRabbit🐰 Sprint iphone 6+. I love, love, love this app! It shows me more pertinent information on one page than most apps of its kind show you in ten pages! And the information that is produced is viable useful information Keep up the great work. DagNabbitRabbit 🐰💢‼️ New update~DagNabbitRabbit🐰 T-Mobile iPhone 15 I still use this app, Network Analyzer Pro through many updates and through iPhone 6+, 7+, XS-Max, and now 15 pro max and find it indispensable ‼️ Shows me accurate reading of my usage of WiFi data and 5G data, my ip location, speed tests, phone data information and so much more. Definitely DagNabbitRabbit🐰 Approved‼️ Thank you for keeping Network Pro Analyzer on the App Store for all these years! DagNabbitRabbit 🐰 T~Mobile iPhone 15 pro max March 2026 Still my go to app when I need to see pertinent information on my Apple device. Tells me everything I need to know.

Used for years. Love it.. This app shows if there’s good stability in the connection. Only app I know of that shows that. Very helpful. If the graph is bottoming out than their is a bad ground connection. 75% of the calls I get turn out to be ground related for cable internet. Installers, half the time don’t even hook up a grounding cannon. Good way to fry modems and cause 5 or 6 service calls. With a bad ground they will have intermittent service. It will work for after he resets the modem long enough for the tech to say “all fixed” and drive off.

More than I know how to use. Let’s me see everything on my network. Apple’s privacy move means I have to do some investigations and my labels might not always stick, but overall I have a great view of what’s happening. Being able to log my info and test data is very convenient. As an amateur I’d love if there was a reference or link to a quality noob site. I have dug around and learned a lot on my own but if the creators had some good references they could point towards that’d be the one thing I’d ask for at this point. I have recommended this to others.

One of my go-to sleeper apps. I don’t write reviews for apps when they ask me to, but I use this app constantly so they deserve it. I’ll keep it short. If you’re a nerd trying to make an iPad work as your primary “laptop”, or you do network troubleshooting on the road, you _need_ this app. I’m using it all the time to find devices on the network, check the quality of my connection, or find that mysterious open port. Super handy tool to have on all your iOS / iPadOS devices.

Super Handy App Is an Understatement. I’m far from a network tech or anything close, but I’ve had internet service long enough that I’ve realized that if given a choice, I’ll troubleshoot any network problems at home on my own (for hours if need be) rather than deal with the average service provider’s call center “expert” reachable through any public customer service phone number accessible by anyone not working for the CIA. Thanks to this app I rarely need to spend more than a few minutes fixing any issues. The UI is simple and anything (symbols, abbreviations, etc.) that may not be something I’m familiar with or how it works within this app and/or with my network when needed is clearly explained in a bullet pointed FAQ section. I’m even happy to say that despite the developer(s?) warning that WiFi speeds are very difficult to gauge with much accuracy and consequently users shouldn’t depend on what the app reads as up/down capabilities given after running a Speed Test, this app rarely gives me a reading that isn’t essentially the same as what my provider’s own Speed Test tool tells me. I’ve used this app for, I don’t know, 3-4 years at least on an almost daily basis and I literally can’t think of enough words that would effectively praise the person or people behind this awesome tool. Can’t even write “Five Stars” fast enough. Seriously, it’s one of those things you take for granted because you use it so much and it’s always so reliable, but if you’re ever without it it’s like realizing you’ve left the house without a phone and wallet. You don’t need to keep looking for a similar app now that you’ve found this - you’ll only be wasting your time. That’s what’s up.

Useful collection of tools in one app. Love it when I need it. So many times various providers have needed to connect to our WiFi/DMZ zone in the firewall (alarm control panels, DVRs, Etc.). This app is crucial for verifying their connectivity, putting their failures to configure back to them. Also allows scanning the network I’m connected to to sniff out the out-of-place hosts, or finding those devices someone connected & just left it wide open with factory defaults. Too bad iOS now blocks reporting MAC addresses- not helping anyone Apple.

Awesome useful tool, wish for more.. I have found this tool very useful in tracking who has logged on to my home network. I do wish I could use this to kick a mis-user off of my network. This app annoyingly reminds me every use, that I have denied cellular access: and to change this in settings. I understood this app was for wifi, and not for examining my cellular network.

Really great tool for network analysis, definitely worth the purchase years later.. Purchased the pro version years ago and it’s an amazing tool that makes iPhones and iPads which are of course locked down tighter than a tight… thing… and I can’t even believe how much I’ve used it for quick reference when I’m away from cli. It’s definitely worth the money and I have been very happy with it and honestly likely one of the few App Store purchases I don’t regret, usually I regret my purchases and end up not using them anymore. Not this one though.

Information App Does All It Says.$. This app is for information. It quickly gets info on the iphone, the particular wifi network to which it’s attached (if any), the vpn data, and the celluar network. Other “tabs” are used to measure upload and download speeds. If precise location is not given, Apple does impose some limitations, which I consider good privacy. I have used this for several years, and am completely satisfied that it does all it says. Good app.

Quite interesting. I’m a low-level geek who purchased the bundle (Net Analyzer; System Status) after reading an article in The Verge regarding Apple’s recent iOS updates slowing CPUs on older devices from 1400MHz to 600 MHz to prolong battery life. I wanted to check mine. A different app was mentioned in the article, but I bought this because I liked the dev’s credible-sounding responses to some reviews. Glad I did; I’m impressed. First, I am fascinated at the abundance of data presented in a user-friendly format. Second, the “About” section is loaded with explanations of this data, with links opening to even more info. The dev writes in a straight-forward tone that I can understand. I’ve confirmed my CPU has not been slowed, so now I’m happy & busy learning info in both apps.

Very helpful for network monitoring. I use this app every day to help make sure all of my devices are properly connected to my virtual network/VPN private subnet. It’s my first go-to for checking connection status of several devices on my network - including servers, my laptop and my mobile device. I need these systems to function for my small freelancer business, so the Network Analyzer app is extremely helpful in assuring all of my machines and devices are networked properly and connecting like they should be.

Must have for those on road. Being able to quickly identify analyze a clients network is essential to field teams and other professional IT consultants. This tool is a great start and insight to the network and the security. You understand if you can see other devices, and if they can see your device. Also, great women, public settings, such as airports to understand the risk associated to the Wi-Fi at that location.

Wow! Never seen so much abilities.. Wow! Never seen so much abilities. This so is feature packed and is the first app I’ve ever seen on iOS with this much utility, I always assumed that iOS was so sandboxed developers couldn’t provide features that are so basic in any other platform and it always bugged me. But now I see there is diverging else going on entirely. I am actually really disappointed in so many apps now. I love this app. I hope there is a community around it somewhere. Thank you Developers for this wonderful gift. Looks like a lot of work went into it. It could definitely use a little touch up here and there but that’s with any app accept Plinky & Heaper 😁 Thank you and please keep working on this thing, I bet you could pick a new fancy SoC hacking gadget like the Hale Hound, Biscuit, flipper and others and add some complimentary features etc that acts as an auxiliary function resource. That would be Skookum.

The must-have tool!. If I was allowed only one application on my iPhone, this Network Analyzer Pro is the one on which I would insist. Any time you find yourself using WiFi in a medical building lobby you can see the entire network in lists of IP addresses, their names, types of devices, and each one is ping-able from your iPhone with statistics and realtime charts, plus checking net speeds for uploads and downloads. Every time I fly or stay in a hotel, I always scan the network I’m on. In one’s home one should be familiar with how many devices are logged in to your WiFi. This application makes it simple to check your network. Every smartphone user should have this application and become familiar with “normal network behavior” by using it a couple times a day. Makes it easier to detect parasites when you know how normal network activity appears.

speed test upload stopped working. love this app for many years now until today the speed test upload stopped working but only via VPN. After trying various debugging (phone reboot; network refresh; different VPN protocols; comparing with web speed tests, etc) went to app support which only shows FAQs there’s no actual way to contact support. which leaves me only here to report the issue, except now there’s two issues: 1. the speed test issue just described; and 2. no way to contact support. fix these and i’ll give back 5 stars for an otherwise sterling app. Ok I use this a lot so even though it’s not fixed I’ll restore 5 stars for this otherwise very useful app

Many Years of Useful Service. Being a network guy (26 years professionally, and now another 12 building, expanding, monitoring, and administrating a large home network of near 100 devices), I find network tools are invaluable. Network Analyzer Pro is one of those tools, I’ve been using it since 2013 (and maybe its predecessor before that). I like to keep track of every device on my network, and scan for unexpected devices and changes regularly. Without going into everything this tool can do, I just say I find it very useful and wouldn’t be without it. Thanks to the developer for keeping it current!

A must have. I use this app whenever my home network seems slow. I got the ip addresses from my home to my internet vendor’s first hop all the way to the last. I check ip ping times to the first hop all the time; to the last hop if the first hop is ok but the network is slow. LAN speed comes in very handy to check if upload acks or downloads aren’t working. A very helpful tool.

Great until iOS 11. Get this app. It is very useful for knowing what is happening on your LAN. I have used this tool for a long time. It is still a very valuable tool but when Apple started blocking access to MAC addresses it broke a lot of good features; some of the best features. I used to be able to give names meaningful to me to my network devices. Apple broke this. Apple claims to be acting to protect the privacy of users. I am not so sure. Apple also started blocking access to OS log files to hide what they are doing to monitor everything users access. If they care about user privacy why would they do this?

A Very Helpful App. While I am unable to make much of many of the features Net Analyzer offers, the features I do use have become indispensable to me. Mainly I will click on Net Analyzer anytime I suspect my wireless connection has been lost. Granted, I could achieve the same outcome by checking my settings, but Net Analyzer provides the information more quickly, thoroughly, and in a more aesthetically pleasing format. I also love using the Scan Network feature to see what other devices are connected. The ability to label these devices is helpful, as well. Finally, the app's built-in speed test is quick and easy to use and provides a helpful history of past results. The app has many other features, but these are the three I use the most. If you're not particularly tech savvy but would like something to help you see what's happening with your network connection, I recommend this app without reservation.

A great tool for knowing your network better!. This app has been crucial to help me see what is on my network, and to see what those devices are capable of. I was a little intimidated at first by the interface, but that was simply because there are so many capabilities. Even the non-pro, free version is excellent, and does not bother you with ads, etc. I rarely, rarely ever review or rate apps, but let me tell you: you will not go wrong by trying this app. Thanks for a great product.

Overall the best. Every app has drawbacks, but I’ve been using this app for years and have not had to use another. I’ve been able to set it up for people who know nothing about what this app does, and show them how to figure out if something is up. They can even tell a support tech what they are seeing, and I think that is cool. This app has been used enough on my phone and iPad to deserve a review. So here it is: This one will do what you need it to do in a pinch.

My go-to networking toolbox. I've been using this app for years for network scanning and troubleshooting. It has proved itself a very useful tool over the years. If you're a network admin or just someone with a more complicated than average home network, this little tool will provide you with a lot of help in diagnosing network issues, all from the comfort of your iPhone or iPad.

I just wanted to support the dev but found value anyway. I tried the Network Analyzer app and found it to be everything I needed. I didn’t see any features listed in Pro that I cared about, but I wanted to support the developer for not requiring a subscription for the premium app, so I went ahead and bought it. I was surprised, however, to gain history and ability to star my ping and DNS tool tests so that I can easily repeat them and switch between them. I didn’t see that among the listed features, but I like them. I expect that being able to perform DNS queries for specific records will be useful to me, in the future, as well. I was also pleased that all of my content (except, of course, location permission which I had granted) carried over to the Pro app from the free version. Nicely done!

The best network tool on iOS. I’ve tried a few different networking apps and this one exceeds the capabilities of any of them by a long way

Net Analyzer ALWAYS WORKS. I’ve used this for several years and it always finds all my local devices with login links. A robust and efficient app.

Very, very good.. Simple. All the data you’re looking for is RIGHT where it needs to be. I opted to get the ‘paid version’ after trialling the app - I wasn’t disappointed and I use it ALL the time to help scope networks before quoting or diagnosing issues or extra work. This app in my opinion is well done… Sure, there are prettier apps… but this one, works!

Handy Utility. Very useful used this app for years for checking my internet connection

Great App. using it for around 5 years. simple, has all i need, no glitches, regularly updated. Many thanks!

Not installed for months, but got billed today for it. I tried it months ago and didn’t like it so removed it. But today many months later I got billed for it again by apple. It doesn’t show on my apple subscription list, so why did I get billed again? I certainly haven’t touched it over the last number of weeks as it’s not installed. Shows in my purchased apps as previously purchased. I’ve asked apple for a refund, for billing me without authorization, but the refund request doesn’tprovide a space to explain why this was wrongly billed to me.

Excellent, works.. A must have a app for basic troubleshooting. Works, quick and easy. Wish it has WiFi analyser to check SSID around and more. Great job tho ;-)

Good honest app. A constant reminder that not everyone can trust the other apps to give true speed information on isp providers.

Works as advertised. Within the constraints of iOS it is a handy tool. Good balance between display of data and interface.

Works well. Invaluable application as I relocate every week or two and checking the local internet performance is helpful when troubleshooting. Together with the other tools; this application is my ‘go to’ app for any network related issues.

Great app for what I need. I have tried a few other apps but seem to come back to this because it just does all that I need.

My go to app. I use this app all the time when I need help diagnosing a network error. I’ve used this app for many years and it’s always been good

Just Essential. Both apps from TechNet are ESSENTIAL in my view . Particularly if you are running a home mesh system (or 2). These tools truly help to visualise resources connected or failing and just hope hard you iPad may be working as well. With the dropouts i get i can put forth a clear case to my isp for terrible service……..

Brilliant. Does everything it says it does. Provides you with everything you need to know about your network.

Nice app. Great app that I have used for many years both at home and at work.

Super Useful. This is one of my essential apps. I use it all the time to diagnose network problems. Great set of tools.

Great app. Lots of functionality in one place. Well worth paying for.

Good network analysis tool. Just works, does what it claims. Stable and reliable. Recommended for fault finding.

Great app. Love the flexibility and options that come with this analyser app. Also a great tool when playing around with firewalls and checking to see if they are working or not

Easy to use and great functionality. Have been using this for many years. Easy to use and great functionality!

A good & useful app. Every iPhone and iPad user should have this app installed. It is a very useful networking tool. Thank you to the developers for creating this app and for its ongoing support. Regards, Peter

Has a great easy to understand Ui. Have been using for about 10 years now easily recommend this purchase.

Great app. I am no network expert so this is an endorsement from an unsophisticated user. That said - I love it and find it very useful when things are not operating as expected at home.

Great app that I turn to consistently for network information.. And it is reliable.

Go to App for network info. I have been using this app for years now. Always gets regular updates as iOS changes and provides the best network info that Apple will allow anyway.

Excellent set of tools. This has been my go to network toolbox for well over a decade. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Really useful. Good app. I use it nearly every day installing networks and wifi systems. I particularly like the indication of the ports available on a given IP (like ‘web’) so I can trial-connect to see what the device really is!

Forces to use you precise location to give meaningful data. Application forces to provide your precise location to give SSID. In explanation it conflates ability to give SSID names around you with location. In reality SSID are available to view without your location. What the app providers really want is to collect your location (and your movements) and on-sell it. I can’t see any other reason the link these two functionality as a dependency.

Really good. I’ve been using this app for years and it’s saved me many times, and I’ve barely touched the more advanced features.

Very useful. Great to see who’s on your network, what devices have access, running a (independent) speed test.

Love this App. Used this app for nearly 10 years now. As a server lover and network enthusiast this is one of the tools I use the most. See what’s on your network. Easy ping or look at services. Scan different networks that you’re connected too. Endless. Even when Apple limited access (for privacy) the app still maintained enough functionality with their amazing UI and functionality. Highly recommend anyone who likes to see what’s on their network or others. Can’t beat the price either.

Rich. Nice to have something reliable on the iPad to do quick scans and port checks.

One of my most valuable apps. It works very well and provides a quick insight into the network status.

An0ther Planet. Great app! Gives you all the important info you need about your network. Assists with setting-up, troubleshooting, etc. Definitely recommend this one.

Great tool for the amateur.. Been using this tool for quite while has helped identifying cabling issues. Also good for internet speed testing.

Always worked as I expected. Has always worked as expected

Does it's job without issues. Easy to use; helpful. Does exactly what it should. Great for helping resolve Network issues.

Quick key facts about the network you just joined. This developer makes some solid apps. Started with Status for phone details and then this great little app that will give you a quick overview of devices on your network and some of their potential. Value for money too

Love the app. I have many devices on my network and its great to keep track of them all. A quick scan and i can tell what is a miss. Thanks for the great app.

Great tool that I use regularly. Works as expected, very handy for a whole range of network related tasks. It is good quality and rock solid, unlike the competitors that I have tried.

Great support tool. This is what I use frequently when I’m working with many varied client premises and domains. Being able to quickly check a status from my phone is ideal.

My go to app. This has become my default networking tool for when I don’t have my computer handy.

What else do you need. Does everything you could want to ping ,trace route ,lan look up, network speed … Fixed several places router networks with simple phone access

Useful. everything you need to know about what I think is in the title of this review

Worth the money. This app is worth the money and quite a handy collection of utilities to have conveniently on my iOS devices. The only issue so far is that some Whois queries didn’t resolve properly compared to a direct search done from APNIC’s website; No idea whether that’s an issue with the app or not.

Fantastic app. Fantastic little app for finding different devices on your networks, the other features are great to

Very Helpful. I use it a lot to check speed. It is also good for tracking the path taken.

Awesome app!. App works as expected. No issues so far. Overall great tool to use and highly recommended for IT enthusiasts and professionals.

Extremely useful. .. once used, you would never be without!

When things go wrong, this app is my go-to….'. This is the first app I use when the family network fails, such a quick way to identify and repair problems. Well done!

Worth it tool. I rarely write reviews . Excellent tool for anyone running their home or professional network.

Great app. Very informative data

The Best. I’ve had this app from the beginning it saved me many times. With a VPN it will show on a dynamic map anyplace in the world the IP address is. That really comes in handy.

Excellent.. Great mobile app to use along with any computer based programs you may have.

Highly Recommended. Used it for a few years now and it has all what you need to do node port scans, Whois lookups, basically essential tools to diagnose most issues with networks. Never had a issue with it because when there was an issue the developer squashed it immediately! No support call needed. Cheers.

Great network app. Great utility!

Extremely Useful!. I have been using this app for a while now, and I love it. I find it very handy for figuring out issues with my home network.

Love this app. Great little tool that allows me to do basic network analysis with the command line tools I’m familiar with.

Good App. Easy to use, good app.

Solid and very useful. Very stable and useful application. Great for simpler diagnostics and testing. I use it for years and it is very helpful tool, both from phone and iPad

Great App. This is a very good App with several important Features . However would be nice if the info has details about the CELL PHONE PROVIDER CONNECTION INFO , thanks.

Great tool. It does a lot more than I realised. The Lite version is ok too.. Easily ping outside addresses, run tracerts.... I rarely have to pull my laptop out of my bag at customer sites these days. It's been a valuable tool.

Pretty good, but sadly limited by iOS Security.. iOS apps since iOS 11 ( 8 versions ago as of iOS 26) cannot find the MAC addresses of local devices in the network, and consequently can’t determine the manufacturer of the device that usually is evident from the first three bytes of the MAC address. This limits the usefulness of the LAN Scanner in the app. This limitation is by design from Apple for privacy reasons, as the way to find MAC Addresses in the local network can also be used by apps to fingerprint and track you. Not that this app would use this to track you, Apple just doesn’t really give exceptions.

Great job, ads are NOT a bother. Great job, ads are not a bother

Very good app A+. This app those everything you need when it comes to verify your network settings. I recommend this app.

simply the best!. No false representation, it is what it is, and it works!

tec_64. I have been using this app for quite a while now. Would recommend it.

Good App. Would be great if they enabled a way so we can use MAC addresses again. Other than that I enjoy this app.

Been using this for years now. Very useful for network troubleshooting

Net Analyzer. Excellent tool

Handy networking app. I’ve used it for years to test and scan networks from my phone. Works every time.

Great Tool. Great analyzing tool, especially when arguing with Ma Bell over speed.

Helpful Analyzer. The network Analyzer has been helpful to check other party’s on the network at home or in a public network working with others or unauthorized connections. Checking speeds as well.

Great app for checking networks. This app works great for getting network up address assigned to devices on your network.

Good. Works well.. don’t have anything to compare it to.. dns always has a nx name and no serial number with more than two digits

Helps me at work a lot. I am an IT pro, and this program really helps get a quick overview of a network. Shame Apple removed the ability to look up ARP tables.

Simply indispensable!. Must have. Comprehensive and just works.

Nice to see update n 2020. This is one of my oldest purchase for iOS device and I’m happy to see they still care about this useful app. Well done developer!

Prefect. Love it

Great tool! Works well.. Thanks

Fantastique!. Très utile!

Love it!. Love i

Very nice & useful info. I like all the additional information I can find. Very good Analyzer.

Best Network Analyzer App. Best Network Analyzer App

Paul Chan. Excellent app

Ver useful. Helped a lot in setting up my network both at work and home. Thank you.

Useful app. Have used it since the first ipad came out. The developer has provided great support for the app from day one and continues to do so.

Powerful and versatile network utility.. Easy to use and offers many network analysis options.

Very helpful. We use this tool on a regular basis for our technicians. I would highly recommend for any network technician.

useful tool. great

What devices do I have?. I use this to scan my wifi to see how many and the ip addresses of devices connected.

Great. Great app — I’ve been using it for years, and it’s still as reliable as ever.

My goto whenever and wherever I am. I have been putting this app the good use since I first purchased it forever ago. I am supplied with all the pertinent info I need to either diagnose an issue or to do research on a specific ip. I bought the pro version right away since it was reasonably priced and it has been worth every penny

Great network Swiss Army knife. Just nice tools to have around. Used it for many years 👍

Great network tools. Reliable and easy to understand

Great app!. Handy to have at your fingertips when you suspect internet is down or running slow

nice!. nery neat set of tools for everyday life and more!

Best $3 I ever spent. Works like a charm, indispensable for network diagnostics on the go.

My go to tool. Use it to check the device IPs on my lan

Great debug tool!. Depend on this as a quick home networking debugging and troubleshooting tool. Thanks!

Great app for network info & debugging. I have used this app for a few years now. I use it to solve network connection & printer issues. It is simple to use and still powerful enough to be my go to software to debug & track down network IP & connection issues. Great little app!

Pro Tip. When end users complain about WiFi on their devices it’s best to troubleshoot from a cellphone first. I’d recommend starting with this App. Try to replicate and gather as much data as possible. Don’t jump at the problem with a laptop Ekahau and other things first. Good job!

Exceeds expectations and goes beyond what is expected.. This application is possibly the longest-running network analyzer I’ve used consistently, and the results are well worth the price. Don’t download any other network analyzer application because this one is far superior.

Device Count. When I do not have operability, or a missing device, I can troubleshoot for network information on what devices are running. When I manually need to change IP addressing this tool assists me in selecting IP address matching correct camera. How many devices on network count and this is an invaluable admin tool.

Does what it’s supposed do!. I use Net Analyzer Pro a lot to help keep an eye on the network traffic and devices on my home server. The user interface is clean and robust. It’s easy to navigate through the various options and very intuitive to operate. All in all, this is a great app!

Awesome App. I use Net Analyzer all the time to heck the status of my home wifi and see if there are problems. Easy to use, has a history for every connection you check, allot of information that i don't even remember! But its a fantastic app! Check it out!

Great solution. Most of these apps are overly complicated not extremely helpful to the average home user or proconsumer. This one is different. It works elegantly it’s tests are clean and the information is immediately useful. Very well-designed and very well constructed. Would definitely recommend without any reservations

Great tool for network debugging on mobile. Easy to use. Have been using this software for multiple years for quick troubleshooting and information on both WiFi and cellular network connections.

Excellent toolkit for network analysis. I reach for this app before most any other tool when first starting to troubleshoot a network device. The scanner is fantastic and I use it way more than something like NMAP, and having it automatically store recent scans is super handy when I just need the up address of something. Excellent work.

Best Pro-Level App for your home!!!. I love this app! I am a novice when it comes to my home network and this app provides all of the tools I need to not only familiarize myself with my network but to also learn to better understand how my network is set-up and working!!!

Cool tool. I spent the money and purchased the app. Why? Because the price is very fair and highly deserved. I’ve tried multiple network apps, but always come back to this one. It’s informative and provides the information I’m looking for in an intuitive format. Recommended.

Useful App. This is an app I use often. I purchased the pro version. I like the layout. It's simple to use. I have downloaded at lease 8 different apps similar to this one. A couple of them have a feature or two that this one is lacking. But overall this one is the best.

One of the best tools in my pocket!. I’ve used this app quite often to my the past 3 years or so and even when I was a noob trying every app to get simple and direct answers to my queries. Some features need a little work, however it isn’t a nuisance to me at all and I’ve complete faith in their Dev team to work the issue out. Thanks

Indispensable Network Tool. I find myself using this app all the time. I travel to new businesses every week and I pop open the app to get a quick idea what is going on with their network. It has a lot of great tools to check on a lot of common network parts, the app tells me a lot and helps me not have to grab my computer to troubleshoot everything.

Awesome networking tool for your mobile device. This is an amazing tool. I use it to see devices on my WiFi network, check internet upload and download speed, scan for open ports, dns record information, and much more…

Fast, Easy to Use & Read. I use this app to monitor and troubleshoot my network of 100+ users, with ~300 devices. Scans my network quickly and presents all the information clearly. Visually, this app is one of the best. It's easy to navigate. It's easy to locate pertinent information. I have tried many network tools over the past decade, and this continues to be one of my go-to tools.

Great Utility. This is a great app for networking analysis. This app has many tools for testing your port forwarding configuration, and even a Whois search. The only complaint is that due to Apples restrictions, access to the ARP table is revoked. This means the app is unable to view the MAC address of systems on the network. This is a minor issue though, and is not a fault of the devs of this app, but instead a issue of Apple.

Works a charm. Performs as billed. Quick, intuitive and easy to use. Really helps as a security tool on your own network. Make sure you can identify “all,” devices on your network. With all the iOS updates this tool still works well and gets updated as needed. My “go to,” app for network scanning.

Been using for years, will continue for many more. I have been using this app to do basic port scans on hosts in and out of networks for MANY years. It’s great to be working on an internal network via laptop, pull out my phone, and do a quick external port scan in something.

Plain awesome. I admit, at first, I was apprehensive about the lite version that I tried. But after using that I opted for the full version, which was the smartest move I've made so far. Using this application has allowed me to block access from unknown devices. If you need to monitor network access, you need this app

My go-to app since 2017. This is absolutely my favorite of all networking apps. Does exactly what I needed to do, stays consistent over the years, love the history features and being able to save tests for future use. Clean and intuitive interface.

Quality tool. Net Analyzer Pro is a super user-friendly application that anyone can pick up and use with ease. Whether you’re just starting out in networking or you have some experience under your belt, this tool has everything you need to get the job done efficiently.

One stop consumer tools. I discovered this little gym some years back when having some problems with my PC. With a little bit of knowledge, this tool can be invaluable to selling some common problems. One can also learn a lot about once hardware with the tools on this app.

Needs WiFi. This is been my go to product for quite a while, I sure wish it had Wi-Fi. Something and I ran into was I was trying to analyze my cellular connection it came up as zero, used another product it works fine, had to go in and turn cellular access on. Simple enough would’ve been nice if the apple of told me it needed access

Years of use- Still Great!. I’ve used this app weekly for years to locate devices in whatever location I am working. I livestream for a living so have tools like this is extremely helpful during setup or troubleshooting. Highly recommend.

Network Engineer. The app is very stable and has a simple up front design. I work in multiple CLI environments as well as applications. This app allows for very quick use so you can spend more time troubleshooting and working rather than having to engineer a tool it has already been done. Thank you

Excellent Tool. This is a great little program that allows you to check your network. It works well and it’s very helpful in determining if there is a problem with your home network or your Internet service provider.

Great Tool. I typically have 35-40 client devices in our home WiFi network. Very handy tool for managing such network, especially identifying what is what. Really like the integrated speed test and it usefulness across a variety of network types (cell, ISP & VPN). Handy when traveling as well. I can quickly check hotel network speed vs 5G.

Consistent updates. Really pleased with the latest round of compatibility updates and feature enhancements. It would be easy for an author to abandon the app and move on to “version 2” but this app has been kept up to date and enhanced for years!

Either you do, or you don’t.. Having a tool like this has been very useful! Having been an network administrator for years, the information at my finger tips, pun intended, has been invaluable! Speed of retrieving information, which has been correct from the first install. Great app, keep up the great work.

Good but not for amateurs. Good tool that provides a lot of info and views. It even has a built in speed test. My issue is there is no information provided that explains what is the significance of the data. If you’re a network guru this tool would be helpful, however, if you’re not up to guru level much or the information presented will be impossible to easily understand. What is needed is context help to provide explanations.

Excellent app. Great at finding info on your network. Knowing who is on your WiFi at a glance is great to have. Purchasing the app will get you a better experience. The only thing that would help if they included a WiFi search to see who is broadcasting near me

Simple and convenient WiFi system checks!!. Perfect Companion app for conveniently checking both your Wi-Fi components and other parts of your Netwerk. If you’re looking for something to do up time checks, ID network components, plus a little bit more give this a try! .

Best network app. This app has been extremely handy for analyzing the network inside my home and checking the internet speed. The improvement in the new updates are great and have been a big help in troubleshooting problems.

Excellent app - one suggestion. Excellent app. One suggestion if I may: - Theme improvements such as dark mode support and the ability to change icon styles/colors App does exactly what I expect it to do otherwise and is invaluable in helping understand what my phone is doing behind the scenes.

Excellent Tool. As an IT professional I use this app on a daily basis. It allows me to not only search for IP addresses on a network I may be unfamiliar with, but also to do service searches such as ping, IPN, port scan and a variety of others. I have the paid version and the tools included are well worth the low-cost. Kudos to the developer(s)!

Works consistently well and better than others. I use this regularly to t/s network issues. After trying net toolbox for a bit which has many tools, I found that it had issues detecting all connected devices. This app though always works. 5 stars.

Only App I’ve ever purchased. First and only app I’ve ever paid for - I use it as a network admin to manage the network at my church. It’s be invaluable in easily finding the local IP of devices and resolving numerous issues for a network that includes 1 main router, a couple switches and 4 wifi repeaters.

Great app with all key features + UDP support!. This app is the only one I’ve spotted so far that actually supports UDP probes for traceroute. Massive Kudos! My only wish would be to add traceroute/route probe intervals to provide a low/high/average ping performance of the route over a period of time/intervals. This would be an extremely helpful feature for diagnosing network performance issues.

iOS security handicaps. The iOS security changes effectively remove the valuable features that made this app worthwhile. The awareness of other active networks near me, manufacturers of hardware, MAC addresses etc was extremely helpful to triage and troubleshoot wireless issues when helping customers. Now, it's basically a router login page. This is unfortunate because it's not the developer's fault but the premium version now lacks premium features.

No way to contact the developer. Love the app but there’s no way to contact the developer to request features. Just want to see a dark mode icon. This is the only app I have on my home screen that hasn’t implemented a dark mode icon yet, which keeps me from using the feature.

Useful to test and keep an eye on your network. The more you know about your network, the better you can make it perform, and the more secure it can be. This iPad app lets you scan and see what devices are attached, and allows you to query individual devices with Ping and WOL functions. I’ve been using it for many years, it’s very handy.

Awesome network specs!. This is one of those “hard to find” apps that has a simple and appealing layout, yet still offers many intricate network testing features that gives you a fair and useful variety of informative tools. Only thing I’d say it’s missing is maybe some tips or details of what each tool is and/or suggestions of how/when to use each.

My Go To for a Decade (Pro Version). Great app, very useful, works well and is easy to use. My only problem is that there doesn’t seem to be an option to add tools or nettools in order to expand or organize; but, then again.. why would you need to?

Clean and Dependable. I use this app far more often than I wish I had to... If only my Internet connection was half as good as this app is at monitoring it’s throttling and dropouts… Bonus: Did you ever wonder what kind of bizarre path your data hops along to get from you to some site you’re connected to? Me neither. But it’s amusing to see, nicely plotted out on a map.

Best iOS network tester, period. Aside from a having a way to test Wi-Fi data throughput, this tool has everything that you’d ever need a network scanner to do that iOS allows you to actually allows you to do, which is shrinking with every point release. I don’t bother with any other tool, really.

Great app. Considering the limitations that iPhone gives you when it comes to things like this this app really surprised me I can actually do a lot more with it as far as looking at my network work stuff than I expected and it’s the only one that it seems to be accurate as far as location so I really like it

Greatness iOS necessities. this app is truly amazing, every network tool you need, including a speed test, ip scanner, and within that is the port scanner! as soon as I spent the 3 bucks and dug in, I was amazed. I love this for the efficiency, and replacing two other apps. This should be a default in iOS as a tool, but other wise, buy it.

An old favorite. I use this app a lot. I'm a network consultant, and every IT person out there knows it never hurts to test connectivity from one- more- device-. Comes in handy, too, when you've already packed away your laptop and you need to test.

Excellent & indispensable. I have used this app for years on my phone & iPad. It has worked flawlessly and helped me solve many home network problems. It has also been of great value in other locations. Kudos to these folks--a wonderful, invaluable app. Thanks.
