What a waste of money.. Does not even turn on camera with iPhone 5. Buttons beep and that is it. Guess you can say I just gave 2 bucks to a bad developer. Apple you need to police the store better for these rouge apps. Very disappointed with this one. DON'T BUY. A WASTE OF MONEY.

Does what it advertisies, I think. The user interface of this app does not have the options that are pictured in this App Store. I have an iPhone 6S on iOS10. Starting the app results in one window which apparently shows the color temp as well as what I'm assuming is Hue, Saturation and Luma values. There are NO options on my version of this app, you get what's loaded. Also, the developer website is in Italian and I've contacted the developer and have yet to hear a reply. So far, it's not worth the $2 but I guess it shows me color temp which is what I wanted.

Works now!. Downloaded and checked. It works now and I have a new 4S. Measured various light sources (wanted it for my reef tank). Whatever they did it seems to work.

Not working on I Phone X. Does not work using back camera on I Phone X. Reading stays the same regardless of light source. Front camera does seem to at least give different readings but is hard to use if you want to take a reading and see the results.

A useless toy for $2. application does function on iOS6 - no problem with that. However it's a useless toy. Readings are so far from reality and so inaccurate. you measure same buld 3 times and it gives you 3 readings: 2900K, 3800K and 6200K. Bottom line: this app is waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

Good for the price. I think some of the reviewers of this product don’t know what color temperature is. It has nothing to do with brightness. The reviewer who suggested measuring the light reflected off a piece of white paper is giving great advice. If you do that, the app seems reasonably accurate when measuring light above 2700K. It is NOT accurate below that color temperature. It thinks an amber light is still 2700K. For the price, I think it is worth 3 stars. Disclaimers: I did not compare measurements against a professional meter, and I’m using an iPhone 7.

This app is accurate within 100 kelvin. This app can save you $1,600 USD. That is the cost of a professional Sekonic C-800 color meter. I’ve tested this app, extensively, in multiple lighting conditions and it’s never been off by more than ~100 kelvin. Most professional DSLR and MILC cameras only allow setting custom white balance in 100 kelvin increments anyway, so this app’s margin of error is very well within the acceptable range. The closest that this app was to reference was a stunning 14 kelvin! Virtually all of the other reviewers, unfortunately, have been using and testing this app incorrectly. (Certainly this app’s documentation could be improved). This app is not an incident color meter like the C-800, so you can’t just dangle it in the air and expect an accurate reading. To get an accurate reading with this app you have to point your iPhone’s camera at an RGB-neutral white or gray target—IN EVEN LIGHTING—(like the X-Rite Color Checker Passport’s white balance card, for example). This should give you a reading that’s within approximately 100 kelvin from the reading you’d get from an extraordinarily expensive handheld incident color meter. I use this app to calculate the delta between the white balances of ambient lighting and flash lighting in order to precisely determine how to gel the flashes, without guessing and without having to use a $1,600 color meter.

well it sorta works. I love as able to show the difference between an LED and incandescent bulb while dimmed, but in genial the UI is broken for the 6+ and I can't seemed to use advanced functions. can't switch between photos, maybe the button hides on the 6+

Very misleading. This app claims to show you a spectrum of the light it is observing. This is impossible since each IPhone pixel can only measure the relative strengths of the red, blue and green light entering the camera. This makes suspicious of every bit of data the app displays

YCImaging recommended this app!. And I love it. Easy to use and makes locking white balance in manual mode camera apps a breeze!

Quite accurate!. I used to use a $2,000 light meter to measure color temperature when I worked in the film industry. This meter costs only a few bucks and is almost as good. The app description says it’s within 8% of the actual color temperature, which in most circumstances is sufficient. I tested the app in a variety of environments; I.e. outdoor sunny, outdoor cloudy, interior lights, balanced to daylight, cool white, etc. and it worked great. If you’re doing scientific measurements it might not be what you need but for film and video it’s pretty great.

Worthless. I had to give this a star to make the review post, but it's not even worth that. Completely useless. No matter what light source, always reads 2300 to 2800, completely inaccurate and a total waste of $1.99.

Wow. This is an amazing application. You did a phenomenal job, thank you!

Helpful app. I shoot indoor sports in a variety of poor lighting. High school gyms. This app was recommended by another pro photographer and it has proven to be very helpful. While I shoot in raw, it’s nice to get the white balance correct in camera as a starting point for editing. This app does that. I especially appreciate the spectrum display which helps me understand what’s behind the K value. For sure worth its small cost!

Needs a target on the screen to only measure that point. This app needs to have crosshairs or circle at a point on the screen, to only take measurements. General averages of the picture isn’t a great feature. Spot metering will make this app awesome!

user. I do commercial photography and thought an affordable color temperature meter would be a good idea. This one is real disappointing, with a puzzling interface, useless Info button, and plenty of typos or spelling mistakes in what tries to pass for a user guide. I'm not sure how to get a simple color temperature reading. All I want to do is point it at a light source and get a reading. I don't know why I need to choose a light source (the whole point of this should be to get a color temperature), don't know what they mean by "light mode" and don't want to have Google translate their web site into English. I know, it's only a couple of bucks, but still I'd like a refund in return for the hour or so that I wasted on this nearly worthless app.

Works on older devices but not iPhone 11 Pro. The description really should say which devices this app works on. It doesn’t work on an iPhone 11 (the numbers don’t change at all), but it does work on an older iPhone 6s that I happen to still have.

Changed my review. The last update allows the app to finally work on my iPhone 5. I can't believe it took as long as it did for an update. The readings are not 100 accurate but it's enough to get you in the ballpark for tweaking later... Which is ok. I wish you could set it for florescent to get better readings for that. Sadly, this is the only app (for now) that tries to offer reading color temp of a room in kelvin degrees, so there's not many options to compare it with. Again, be careful trying to read in florescent and incandescent ... But other than that, it's worth a few bucks. ...as long as the iPhone 6 doesn't come out and we have to wait another year for this to work.

Needlessly Complicated. This app reminds me of carbon dating rocks. Geologists need to know how far down you obtained the rock b4 they will date it. So this app asks you to fist tell what light source u r reading from and if u get that wrong your results r way off. This fact alone makes it pretty much useless to me- want my $back!

Gives Good Data, Needs Work. I'm getting believable and reproducible results with LSP, which is hampered somewhat by sketchy English grammar and spelling, but mostly by a lack of any procedure on how to set up and use the app. Technically, it seems to work well, and is nicely laid out. My own method has been to choose a uniform target surface in some shade of white, with WB turned on, using either D65 or D50, and illuminated by light from single color temperature source. Then I press HOLD and give LSP several seconds until the reading settles. I then save the readings for reference. These vary a bit depending on the Illuminant and Adaptation method, but I do see 'correct' numbers for daylight, incandescents, and CFLs. I'm using the app to determine what color temp of LED to choose; since these are very expensive, a mistake would be costly.

Seems OK. Color temp readings seem accurate. Learning curve: I tried aiming at light source. N/g. Then I held up a white piece of paper being lit by the light source and aimed at that. That works.

Why did I buy this!?. I don't know why I didn't read the reviews! Does not function at all. In your next update you should make this app show a funny picture or something so I won't feel so bad about wasting my money!

Impressive app. The app provides a detailed spectral graph using data it collects from the iPhone camera. Very impressive and useful for light analysis in various environmental conditions. Kudos to the developers!

B Allen. The app works very well. For those who are having trouble there is a thin bar toward the bottom and below that a small bar. Pull up that bar and there are many ways to adjust the temperature. For natural try F7 and none. Works well and takes great images.

Very Impressed. Really helps me nail down my white balance when photographing indoor sports. What used to be a lot of guess work in capture and in post processing has now become a lot easier.

Not good. Great idea but this app was released way too soon. It is wildly inaccurate and doesn't ever give consistent reading. At least if they were consistent, you could calculate the difference. At this point, this app is a complete waste of money. Hopefully they will continue to improve it.

Color temp without external hardware!. I was looking for an app to measure color temp without external hardware. I found this after trying several others and was very pleased.

Working great on iOS5. Took a chance based on the bad reviews where it wasn't working on iOS5 and it's working fine for me. I can't wait to use this for some night photography where I need to match flash color gels to ambient light sources in order to balance color temp in a scene. Very useful app! Good job ...

It works!!. Balance your light sources with this app

Worked well for me. I have led lighting on my boat of various temperatures so I try to match the light color when I upgrade. App helps me get the right temp LEDs.

Big improvements in this version!. I really needed an app like this for an upcoming job, but was hesitant based on bad reviews of its past versions. But for just 2 dollars, I figured I didn't have much to lose… I've now run it on a 3rd gen iPad (Retina), iPhone 4, and iPad mini -- all running iOS 6.1.3. I don't have any way to calibrate its output, but the app runs fine, gives me reasonable results (it "sees" 5500K in daylight, around 3000K for fluorescents, etc.), and seems pretty well behaved. The built-in help is pretty good, but needs to be updated (it mentions a calibration button that the app doesn't seem to actually provide). I'd give it five stars, but took off one because the app crashes occasionally -- but then works just fine when I restart it (has only crashed twice, so I can't really characterize what's going on there). So if you were concerned about this app's past reviews, it seems the dev has fixed the major bugs (at least for the devices I've got available to test it with). A really handy app if you're trying to filter flashes to match ambient light from uncharacterized sources.

Complex, no instructions, not accurate. Perhaps this app does work and no one can figure out how to make it work? The interface is illogical and very complex with in-app instructions or on the developer website. Based on what I can do with the app it doesn’t work, if I point it at a 6500K calibrated light source it reads very different values and is entirely inconsistent.

Great idea... But it doesn't really work. This is a terrific idea. I wanted to use it to think through conversion from incandescent to LED lighting to choose the right color temperature lamps. But the app pretty consistently over estimates the color temperature by a wide margin and it crashes too frequently to be useful. Bid really like my $1.99 back.

Great for measuring color temperature of lightbulbs. We’ve been changing all the lightbulbs in our house to LEDs, and like the yellower light in some rooms and the whiter light in others. I’m using this app to measure our existing bulbs to determine what would look best in the next room and it works perfectly. I tried a couple of other apps and neither of them consistently could measure the color temperature consistently, but this one does so exactly and in real time. So for this purpose it works perfectly and I give it five stars.

Working well iphone 5 ios 6.1. Seems to work well. Need to review instructions and understand how to calibrate it.

Scam. App does not measure spectrum. iPhone does not have spectral sensor. I compared this apps readings to Sekonic C7000 spectrometer and a Photo Research PR670 ($20,000 instrument). This app’s readings are completely wrong.

Worst app I've ever wasted my $ on!!. Complete rip off. Not only doesn't this app work, but the app support button tells me that their website does not work either. Guess the guy that designed my app must have built their website. Where is Mr. Cook's head these days...clearly he's not looking after Apple and it's products or reputation!! How can Apple allow a non-functioning app with a non-existent support structure to remain in the App Store. Shame on Apple!!

great app. I'm a lighting engineer and have worked with a lot of lighting test instruments. 1. This app is working on my iPhone 4 2. This app can measure the Lamp Bulb color temperature 3. The accuracy, remember the Color Temp on the lamp brochure is based on Lab Test where the electrical voltage and frequency is precise, and the figure (i.e 6500) is a rounded-up, that way we cannot expect the reading from this app is the same with the lamp brochure. So the accuracy of this app is something that we can say "acceptable" considering the measurement is "on site" where the voltage and frequency is not precise. Hope my review is usefull.

Camera issues on iPhone X!!. There’s a serious camera issue when opening up the app on the iPhone X on iOS 11.4.1. Video/picture feed is super fuzzy and not sharp at all! Update: AUG 2020, 2 years later and the camera issue has NOT been fixed!! I’m now on an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 13.6. This app is still having issues focusing both the rear and front facing cameras! Anything in front of it still remains unfocused!! There is still no tap to focus option! What a disappointment and waste of money!!

Inoperable iPhone 5 iOS 6.0. This app is Inoperable on iPhone 5 running iOS 6.0. While it does load and some of the button produce a response, it is unable to access the camera and does not return any color temperature value. After reading other reviews, it seems possible that LightSprectrum does function on some iPhone models running older iOS versions. However, no warning is made in the store description regarding hardware or OS software limitations - so it's being misrepresented as a universal app compatible with all hardware and iOS versions. In addition, the developer Website link provided by the Store is broken. I have filed a complaint and asked for a refund. Caveat emptor!

Misspellings. Some old-fashioned people think that a quality program should have no misspellings. So think about ‘cancel’ and ‘wavelength’, please. Aren’t you embarrassed by these errors?

Works great ( iPhone 3GS) iOS 5. I don't get why people cant get this app to work... Its perfect for everything I have worked on with no problems. I would however like to see updates at some point. Great job guys and thank you very much.

Does not work. I saw this working on a friends IPhone 6 and was impressed. He has Ver 3.0.1. I downloaded latest Ver 3.0.2 on my IPhone 6. It will not work at all. It is stuck on the opening screen. I cannot locate "tiny bar" some have suggested swiping.

program s..ks. the description claims it performs yet most reviews tell the truth, it's bogus at least for IP5. I sent an email last November and had a reply that they were working on update fix. Don't waste your $$ until the reviews start to turn positive. I took a chance after reading some reviews that were 3-5 in spite of the overwhelming negative reviews.

Great app. This inexpensive app does a great job on my iPhone of measuring light color temperature which is exactly what I wanted!

Did not open camera. Did not work at all. Just shows a picture of no camera and app settings / camera settings will not allow access to camera. This is on my iPhone 6.

Useless. Totally useless. Seems like it is just generating a random number. Totally inaccurate when compared against a known source. Written in very poor English the in-app help is of no use and references buttons on the screen that don't exist in the current version. Waste of time.

What is this good for?. I was hoping for sources to display as a color temperature reading somewhere in the actual range. Grey cards, bulbs, paper, under daylight shade, or incandescents, or 4100k fluorescents, all show figures I know to be hundreds or thousands of degrees off. It may be that you can set a range to read within, but how useful is it to point at a 6500k source and be shown a 2681k reading?

Appears to work well!. Have had about thirty minutes and have analyzed the TVs and lights in my home. The results agree with the claims of the various bulb manufacturers and critics. Yes, the LED TV does emit blue light, the blue light blocking glasses block the blue light effectively, the amber night lights don't emit blue light, etc. Very easy to use! If you have an interest in this subject, you may want to try this app.

Super cool!. First, the fact that it does what normally takes thousands of dollars in tools is fantastic. No, it's probably not nearly as accurate as pro devices to do this work and having said that, since I don't have access to pro-grade tools I cannot say how the accuracy of this compares. But now I have a way to quantify the various values of light sources, and most helpfully, I can compare them objectively. This is certainly an app that every art, theatre lighting and photography student should own. Such a good learning tool to see how light sources and color interact. For homeowners this tool helps sort through the spec's of the multitude of light bulbs at the big box stores. I'm using this on an iPhone 6s with no problems. My only complaints: -The interface can get cluttered. Using it in landscape mode helps that quite a bit. In portrait mode, at least on my little phone, things get piled on each other. Wish it would run on my older iPad! -The helpful explanatory tips are good, but I wish I could figure out how to shut them off. -I wish I could take screen shots in landscape view. Wish: -Now if it had a way to measure flicker of bulbs! Don't care, make it a separate app or make it a purchasable upgrade for this one. I'd buy it!

Does not work on my 6plus. All I am getting is a black screen

Nice try. Doesn't work properly, won't calibrate to a known colour temp. Nice try but no cigar.....

Lightspectum pro. does not open on iPhone 6 IOS 8.1

Terrible! Doesn't work. Fix this! Wasted my money because I didn't read the other reviews :(

Light Spectrum App. Total Fail, does not even load on my iPad 2. Refund please. This is not even a lemon!

No good.. Basic spelling mistakes, such as 'mesure' 'neasure' and 'cancell'. Gives only two Kelvin temperatures, whatever the source, even with both lenses covered. No photos or graphs. Waste of money.

Confusing..... I found this to be confusing and next to useless. too many settings that are not explained as well as. the results were inconsistent. Sorry :(

Non functioning app on iPhone 5. Not great! Pull your app if cannot be fixed!

Brilliant (pun intended). Whilst this is not (nor is it pretending to be) a professional light spectrometer, it is a very clever and useful app for those that want to explore the basic lighting parameters.

Doesn't fit on my screen. I have an iPhone 6 and the app is too large for my screen! It cuts off on the right hand side, so I lose some of the icons at the bottom. Pity, as it looks like a great app.

ozpics. It does what it says it does. I would like to see a colour balance adjustment feature in the form of a plus/minus slider to display the adjustment visibly but as it stands I think it works well and is well worth the money.

Fail. Does not work at all on my iPad 3 iOS6. Would appreciate my money back but support is a dead link. Avoid.

Black screen no app!. I'm using an iPhone 6, all this app gives me is a black-blank screen!

It is not a lemon, but the software is!. This app actually does work, it did nothing until I changed to IOS10, then the first time I used the app it asked to use the camera (this was a first for me!). Once it sees the camera THEN it works. This app is NOT A TOTAL LEMON. But someone is for releasing a version that does not attempt to use the camera unless it is running on ios10. I shall try it out on a few shoots then review it's functionality... Just to reiterate it DOES WORK, but not till it's running on IOS10.

Doesn't work on iPhone 5. Doesn't do anything. Waste of money... Needs to be fixed

Great!. Works great for my realestate video & photo!

Doesn't work here. There is a bit of difference in readings from various light sources but it read an old skool incandescent in a white room at 5000k and a supposed warm white cfl at 5500k - not even close. This is on an iPhone 4 if it makes any difference. Putting one star so it doesn't show as unevaluated, maybe more people will read comments before buying... unlike me lol.

Useless. Shows overcast daylight as 2800K. I know it is 6000K, and my PDW700 agrees with me. Same price as two Mars bars so who cares. I deleted it.

GARBAGE - DON'T BUY. Not sure why I let my self get suckered by this. Not sure why I thought it would work anyway. Best of all the "developer" even forgot to spell check all the text in the interface. he or she and APPLE laughing all the way to the bank BUYER BEWARE!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!! One star rating is a negative star

Over takes my iPhone. Whatever the programming is doing is bad. It takes over the iPhone. I can’t even exit the program, buttons don’t response.

BAD. Checked CCT against our Pro Lab equipment. NOT EVEN CLOSE. out by more than 1000K.

Entirely inaccurate. I bought this app with high hopes, but was prepared for some inaccuracies. That being said, I can’t any consistent or accurate readings. I am using a light source that I can control the colour temperature of, in a controlled environment, and comparing with readings from other meters / software. I feel this could be easily solved with some sort of calibration function, which I can not seem to find.

Random number generator. This is a useless app. Don't buy it. It is nothing more than a random number generator.

Scam. This app is a scam.

This works, but still room to improve. I like it, however.. I downloaded this after seeing it spoken about on YouTube, and I thought I would give it a try. I downloaded it first to my iPad. The first time I opened it, the screen kept “blinking”, and nothing changed with the onscreen measurement, even though I tried a couple of different lighting conditions. I exited the program, and closed it. I opened it again. Voilà! This time, the blinking stopped and the measurement changed as it should. To test it, I set the Kelvin indicated on my Nikon Z6, and I am pleased with the result. I then tried it on my iPhone 6 Plus. The same blinking issue occurred the first time I opened the app. I closed and exited the app. I opened it again, and it seems to be working. I also compared the results using Auto WB on my camera, and there wasn’t that much of a difference, but there was a bit of a shift in the green channel. I may do a few more tests, and will share that if I get around to it. The program only works in portrait (vertical?) orientation. I gave the program 4 stars because of the first time start up bug, and because it does not change orientation.

Doesn't open on my 5S. App doesn't open on my 5S.... Just a black screen. I guess it's accurate in the dark. Developer says there's a fix coming in November, but WHY is this app for sale when it's unusable for many users??

Camera function not operational. Camera not working. Screen is solid blue color. Calibration screen solid white. Having to give one star to a non functioning app is wrong.

Not working. Not working on new iPad 3 even if they say that it is compatible with iPad! Disaponited that I ve paid for this ,

Absolute crap. The interface doesn't fit on my 6s so I can't even begin to try to figure it out. Waste of money.

Worthless. Loaded to my new 4GS. Does not work. Camera doesn't load. Had high hopes for it. I'll feel ripped off until the makers get this APP working.

Didi not open camera on iPhone6. Not clear how this works. All I get is a camera icon with a red circle and line through it!

Doesn’t work on iPhone 11!. Just purchased. Doesn’t work at all. Numbers/measurements aren’t changing in response to changing position. Camera not focusing. Please fix!

Doesn't work on iPhone 4 w os6.1. Save your money. Apple and the developer should pull this app until they can demonstrate that it works.

Doesn't work, iOS 5. I have iOS 5 and it doesn't work. Still a waste of money!!

Trash. No matter what the source, it's 6000k. Tungsten?…6000k. Fluorescent?…6000k. HMI?…6000k. Daylight?…6000k. Who knew? Don't waste your money.

Doesn't work, don't purchase.. App installs, opens, but doesn't function at all.

Worthless. Fifty million settings that have no apparent effect on the actual measurement. Non-intuitive interface. No guidance. Non-existent support. And the developer can't even spell "cancel" correctly.

Questionable results. Under household tungsten lights at night look at white card provides 5500 Kelvin results. Not accurate.

Bogus. Bogus. Tried with multiple light sources--inconsistent, inaccurate, no rhyme or reason. A room with almost no light has as many kelvins as a room with a high powered LED? Wrong. Don't waste your money.

Overcharged. I was overcharged the amount of $18.38 when I purchased this app. I need a refund and you need to fix this issue.

Works well enough if used with copy paper and restart app.. To use this properly you need to aim it at a diffuse white target, evenly illuminated. I have done experiments in the past which indicate that an ordinary sheet of white copy paper is for most purposes just as good as a calibrated photo grey card. And it reflects more light meaning the sensors have more data to work with. I found this to give rock steady readings while aiming at a piece of copy paper illuminated by various LED lights in a dark closet. However there was a bug where the first time I ran it on my 6s plus, the temp reading never updated and the screen flashed. I killed the app and restarted, and it has worked fine ever since. I don’t think this can ever be as good as a dedicated device because the dedicated devices have sensors that read 15 or more frequency ranges of light, while this uses the camera with 3 ranges (red, green and blue). I did get readings of approx 4000k for LEDs that were labelled as and visually looked like 2700k. Probably due to the nonlinear spectrum of the LED interacting with the nonlinear spectrum of the sensor. But the halogen bulbs (with smooth black body spectrum) measured spot on with label and my visual perception. So I would use this for measuring the color temp of incandescent light, perhaps with normal cto or ctb gels. I would not use it to compare LEDs or measure their temp except very approximately. It is also useful for getting a very rough idea of the spectrum of the light, although the three sensors means you have to take it with a big grain of salt.

Works great on 3gs. And for $1.99, is a great deal.

Disaster!!. Wasted time!

does not work. Does not detect camera, on manual refresh is reading only to values 4238 and 4825, i want my money refunded. Iphone 6, ios 9.3.5

Does not work. This app does not work at all with iPhone 4 at all.

Wasted money. App doesn't work on iPhone 4 with ios6. Camera doesn't come on. I'm disappointed.

This is the worst app ever this is definitely a rip off!. This app absolutely does not work! Do not buy this app and if you do get your money back I know I will I give this app -1 star!

Doesn't work. No luck with iPhone 5 and iOS 6. Camera doesn't turn on so the app doesn't work

Does not work!!!. Does not work do not buy... Please pull this app from the store

Only ever reads 3900. Can’t seem to get this app to work and it only ever offers 1 color temp reading.

Not accurate. Reads 2714K for sunlight, light meter reads 5109k and shooting at 5100k gives proper color balance. Buy light meter instead gives good color balance and metering also.

Rip off. Does not work at all. Any screening process here? Are they actually making this money? Their server won't connect. Apple! Why is this still for sale?

Amazing?. Amazing?

When will this app update for iOS 8?. Please update, this app doesn't open now, just one pitch black dark screen . I lost money to you if you don't. Would that be stealing

Does not work!. Do not buy.

Crashes, never able to use. This app crashed my phone every time I opened it. Would like to see if it really works.

False Advertisement.. The developer has produced an unethical way of taking money. Do not buy. Does not work.

Bummer!. This app would not work at all on my iPad.

Junk. Worked fine on my 3gs using ios5. But does nothing on the 4s

Still no joy. Does nothing on my i5 won't even turn the camera on.

:(. Don't buy this app. App loads to a black screen.

Nope. Direct sunlight 3800k? Nope. Not even close when compared to all temperatures w my color meter.

Rip off. This app is garbage, it does not work.

Garbage:(. It doesnt register a temp or display a image. Very disappointed

Don't buy. Loads to a black screen. Sorry, but my advice is: don't buy.

Was hoping this would be a quick ref. But it only displays 2 readings, and they change back and forth every time it refreshes. Can I have my money back?

2700k не работает больше 3000к когда 5000.. Доработайте версию, чтобы показывался спектр выше 3000.

Was expecting more accurate. Walked around home amed at lights walls and such. Got 6000k-6500k readings on everything in home. Was expecting to aim at lightbulb and get told what coler temp the lightbulb was. Did not work like I hoped.

Terrible. This is what I get for not reading the reviews before purchasing. App doesn't work on anything newer than the 3GS.

Worked well!. I have a flashlight collection with emitters that are color temp calibrated to temperatures such as 2000K, 2700K, 3500K, 4000K, 4500K, 5000K, 5400K, 6000K (and more!). I found that this app got CCT correct within 100-200K when used properly. I took a white sheet of paper, shined the light on the paper, then read the paper’s reflection. Aiming the app at the flashlight directly gave skewed results by 1000-2000K upwards. It’s so accurate that I had a light I had mislabeled as 6000K, and it kept coming up as 4950K. I checked the LED bin (XP-L HI V3 3A) and it was actually 5000K! So the 4950K was dead accurate. I did notice that as you move away from the 4000-6000K range, the ratings are less accurate. For example, my 2700K lights red as almost 3000K, and 2000K lights read as 2700K. My 660nm pure red lamp reads as 2400K. So keep that in mind. But this is a great value for $2!

Pretty useless. I should have read other's comments before buying. Very disappointing.☹️

Beware. It opened the first time upon purchase but won’t open now.

Non-functioning for my iPhone 4s. Just wanted to try it put and see what it would do. Turns out that this app does not work in any way what so ever for my iPhone 4s. A waist of $2 it was!

Beware! Scam! Does not work!. It does not work! This could be one great little tool, if it worked! I tested it under various lighting conditions and it always generates the same reading. It is useless!

Not accurate. Save your money. This application does not measure color temperature properly. It never gives a correct reading. I verified it against dedicated color temperature meters and this app is a massive fail. Save your money.

Photographer. This product simply does not work at all. Apple needs to give refunds and remove it from the store . Too bad because it could be very useful. DO NOT PURCHASE !!!

DO NOT BUY THIS!. I am on an iPhone 4 running os5.1 and it doesn't work at all. I should have read the reviews before I wasted $2. Why does Apple allow this app to be sold? Is there no screening process for bogus apps?
