BLUETOOTH IS WORKING AGAIN!. Mainly bought this app to use it for watch bluetooth use. Well the bluetooth function went down with the latest update. It wasnt working for a little bit and i couldnt find any information on it. It just stopped working. FIXED NOW AND IT WORKs! I wish the developer would update the app so people will Know when the bluetooth is down and that they are working on a fix. Thank you Watchla !

Works as intended. Works when all requirements are met. Need to, essentially, re configure watch credentials after each app update. Updates have been happening often lately. About twice a week on average. Kinda annoying but works well when you’ve got that taken cared off. I can operate vehicle with just the watch key and w/o my phone/card on hand.

Do what you need to do. Have all the basic function that 99% of people need. I do wish they can put an image of my car in the interface, should look little more appealing.

Fantastic stand alone watch app. After a first time setup in car and on your phone you no longer need your phone to perform any actions. I can take my watch ultra to the beach, turn off my phone and leave it in the car. When I’m ready to go I can check my charge status, pre cool (or heat) my car, unlock my doors and head home all from my watch. Genuinely a game changer if you like to disconnect and actually fully utilize your Apple Watch. PS it doesn’t require cellular to interact with your car so even if you park in a garage, open the app on your watch and it will work exactly the same as your phone key would. Due to the Apple Watch aggressively putting apps to sleep to save battery you might have to open the app on your watch before you use it as a “phone key for your car”

Unreliable. The Watchla app certainly has it’s place. It is unreliable in connecting to my Y. It had intermittently worked before. I would Never be without my phone with the Tesla app for fear of not having access. The app has stopped working with a “Command Failed “ Token 401 error. To make matters worse after attempting to contact support it requires the download of another app. Not acceptable. C’mon, make this process easier.

Complications never update. Do not buy this app. After months of back-and-forth with the developer, they did fix some authentication issues, but the complications on my watch never update. It is stuck at the same battery percentage/status all the time until I open the app. The developer has simply stopped responding and ignores all of the open issues on their support site with the same problem. Other Tesla apps I’ve tried don’t have this problem. It is specific to this app.

Bluetooth key works. Installed this on Apple Watch Series 9 and series 4. Set up Bluetooth keys on two Teslas. Both watches can now unlock both Teslas without my iPhone nearby. Walkaway lock works for the series 9 and not on the series 4 watch, just as was described by the developer. Very worthwhile watch app to serve as a back up key when my phone and key card are not immediately available.

Gets better and better. I downloaded this early on in its development and it was so bad that I took it off my watch. It took too long to wake the car and was unreliable. A few months later I tried it again and it was marginally better. But the updates kept coming and it steadily became more reliable with shorter lags. It’s now a truly practical and useful watch app. The developer is doing a lot of work on this and it shows. This will soon become a go-to app and it’s exceptionally competitively priced. Give it a try!

Unreliable. The app used to work fine. However, after a number of recent updates is become very unreliable. When I finally have it working, it is inconsistent and does not update the battery percentage. -Even when the Watchla app on my iPhone shows the correct percentage. It just does not sync. Always shows the same. Most of the time the app keeps spinning on the watch.

Flush Interface, Stable!. One must appreciate the slick interface and straight forward functionality of this Tesla Watch Component, it’s as good as the official app, and acts as the Bluetooth Key when your phone is not around so you can unlock and operate your car WITHOUT the phone.

Bluetooth doesn’t always connect. I have 2 Tesla’s and setup this app to connect to both of them. However, I’m having difficulty in getting the bluetooth to connect to them on a consistent basis. After adding the vehicles, the app on my watch says bluetooth is connected but when I switch to my other car, it shows disconnected, even if I’m sitting in the car. Then I can’t have it connect to either, even when I’m within the Watchla app on my watch. I tried force closing the app also. The only thing that seems to work when I can’t get bluetooth to connect is restarting my watch altogether. Another thing is that you have to explicitly select which vehicles bluetooth you want to connect to, whereas another Watch app that I’ve tried will connect to both my cars without having to choose. Of course, I expect to have to choose which car when I want to send a command, but I don’t want to have to select a car just for unlocking purposes.

Own a Tesla, you need this app.. I love everything about keyless entry on my Tesla and so getting this app a perfect addition. The developers keep this app updated frequently and it gets better and better.

Watchia. So its very slow to react with the car. Takes a few seconds to think about it. Eventually will work. If you set your watch to have the watchia commands on your front screen they do not display. Even though it shows you can add them it fails to show on the screen. Be very cool if that works. I was hoping on the new update it would have corrected the problem as it does not. You have to search for the watch to find the app to make the commands. So if the speed was fast if the display actually worked and what you purchased actually gave you what you paid for it be a great app. I probably will be searching for something better and drop this one. I do not care to purchase apps and only get half promises. This is a half promised app.

Stopped working!. Everything was fine for awhile, but lately, I can’t even get into the app. I keep reading about upgrading to a different version, and that Tesla has changed something, but I have no idea how to go about getting a new app that will work!

Frequent fail. Every other week the app tells me I have to do something to keep it working. Right now it wants to authenticate, but it doesn’t do that just puts me in an endless loop. When it works it’s great when it doesn’t work it’s not great and the really bad thing is it’s not dependable.

Updating earlier Bad Review from Ytsud. This does everything including let you drive the car without your iPone or Tesla card. You can open the doors and the put it drive. I originally could do everything but drive the car. The app developer contacted me directly and made suggestions that enabled me to complete the process. This is a wonderful backup option if you forget the card or your phone. There support department was a big help.

Stays current with Tesla updates. I purchased this App in 2023. It worked well and helped me when I accidentally locked my phone in the trunk. I used the Apple Watch when going for a run instead of carrying my phone. I make sure I test it prior to starting the run. I was disappointed when Tesla updated the way third party apps could communicate with the car controls. The app stopped working. I tried again today, June 2024 and now it works. Thank you for staying current with the updates that Tesla makes.

Great app, no issues. I’ve had Watchla for 2 weeks now, and it does everything I need it do, and does it well. Ive had no major issues other than the occasional short lag, which I don’t find problematic. Well worth the $7.00.

Edit: wasn’t working right. Amending my review, because the customer support is great so far. Got it working on a beta program so fingers crossed. I just bought this app and installed it and followed all the instructions. The watch app doesn’t connect. Keeps asking to authenticate through the iPhone app. Which I did And the GitHub troubleshooting solutions were useless

Apple Watch App is Useless. Pretty nice app in terms of design and utility. I got it to use with my Apple Watch. But — the need to constantly “re-authenticate”through my Tesla account makes it useless. It really requires immediate access to use with the watch. Having to wait for the Bluetooth connection and then being told I need to get my phone out and login to my Tesla account to re-authenticate so I can open the trunk destroys the whole benefit of a watch app.

Much improved (revised review). Latest updates have improved this app greatly. Still asks for occasional reverification, but the watch app and phone app have both been working well. If only they could get the fart feature to work.

It won’t update the car info on the watch. I like the way that my watch is able to control the car and to act like the car key. But the info on the watch doesn’t update automatically and you have to go into the app every time on the phone to update manually. If I would have known this, I wouldn’t buy this app. Hope there is an update to address this issue.

Awesome is back. Rewriting this review and giving 5 stars. The virtual key issue for the Apple Watch is now fixed. Great job dev team. I think opening the virtual key addition page via safari browser did the trick. Also a nice UI addition to use safari browser to complete the virtual key addition was amazingly executed. Great job a must recommend app for Tesla users who wants to control their car using their Apple Watch.

Great watch app! May have to reset Apple Watch if Bluetooth not connecting. I initially installed the app and Bluetooth did not work. I restarted car, phone, Watch, reinstalled the app, none worked. Finally I reinstalled Watch OS again, Bluetooth works. App works great so far!

Adds Key Redundancy increasing reliability. The Watchla Tesla remote key app’s dual keys resolve the unreliability of the iPhone key. Having two keys has smoothed out problems when the app goes in the background. A practical fix for a common issue.

This app is useless. I wanted to love this app so bad but it’s useless. I always get “Vehicle Wake Error” messages and then the app spends several minutes trying to wake my car. For all that, I could fish my phone from my pocket or handbag and just access my vehicle’s controls much quicker. Also the controls on my watch are showing my car is open but my Tesla app is showing my vehicle is locked. It just doesn’t work. I want my $5 back…

Please fix the complications not updating or displaying anymore.. App worked great at first for several months without any issues whatsoever, BUT around 2 months ago the watch face complications displaying battery state + range as well as cabin temperature stopped updating and now only appear as white blocks on the watch face without any text showing at all. This is a shame because the app worked well before the last couple of updates and Inised it frequently….. now it is totally useless. While researching this issue, I found numerous posts all complaining about the same issues so it doesn’t appear the app developer has found a fix or is either slow rolling it out…..

Totally unreliable, regret purchase. Slow to connect . Even when simple bluetooth key is set up on a watch the app takes forever to open to connect to unlock the car when using a Apple Watch ultra 2. Works fine for 2-3 days and then couple days later it tells you to re-authenticate again. I totally regret paying for this app

Good but needs refinement. Once installed and configured properly, this has some very useful features. However, I had issues with the new API (v3.5.5) which a work around was identified to address the “No vehicle found…” issue. Hopefully that will be corrected in an update. I also haven’t been able to get the Homelink command to work (when the other commands have worked), but will keep trying. Seems it is simply a toggle to use (or not use) homelink, but my expectation was that it would work like the Tesla iOS app and open the garage door.

Constant maintenance. I would love it if this thing just worked, but it always takes work on my part to get it to work someone. Almost every day I have to re-login because it gives me a warning that it needs to re-authenticate. It’s also very slow to use any of the action buttons, the one thing that does seem to work well is the digital key. This thing would be a lot better if it was a bit more polished.

When it works it’s not bad. Things I like about this app: 1. The price. For what it claims to do, the price is better than the others. It’s a one-time fee and not a subscription. 2. It was relatively easy to set up. 3. It had all the features I was looking for. Other apps only do a minimal amount. Things I don’t like about this app: 1. It takes a LONG time to connect to the car/app on phone. When trying to actually use the watch app, it rarely, if ever works in a timely manner. I hope you’re not in a hurry to get the watch app to work. 2. 90% of the time when I need to use the app, I don’t get to. Either I got tired of waiting for it to connect and just dug my phone out, or my husband came to rescue me. 3. They advertise that you can program voice commands for Siri. I have never gotten any of them to work. And I have set them up? Double checked to make sure I set them up correctly, they still didn’t work. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, re-setup the voice commands. Still didn't work. Overall, I wanted this app to work as described I’m still hoping that one day it might. But right now, it’s a bit disappointing. Even on a good day when it connects in a decent amount time, it still doesn't do many of the things you need to do. Maybe one day they will update enough to fix their concerns.

Okay start. This thing is slow and buggy but it does with a lot of the time. They really need to improve performance with the connection to the car and the watch features don’t always work! Update please and fix your bugs.

Works… now it doesn’t…can’t find my Tesla. I got it, set it up. It has worked fine for a few months. Right before Christmas, it stopped working and hasn’t worked since. I have deleted and reinstalled app multiple times. It tells me my Tesla is not found. Log out and log back in. This has been the same story month after month. Something has changed. Good luck, I am about to move on. 🚽

Works well. Had the app for about one month and it works well! Once I added it to my Apple Watch, it works as a substitute for my iPhone to unlock my Model Y. I have used the other icons on the watch app to perform functions such opening the frunk and opening the charge port. Using Siri voice command through my watch usually works with a slight delay.

Apple watch as tesla key. Loving the app loads of features and the watch key feature let's you carry nothing but your apple watch and use your car. The watch app uses Bluetooth so even if you and your car are in dead zones the key still works.

Great overall but still needs some improvement. This app is great overall and ok would recommend especially for the price. I do however wish the iPhone widgets had more customization options. There is no as much detail as the stock I like the bigger car showing on the widget but there is not enough detail.

Amazing Watch Apple with no subscription needed!. Amazing interface that just works! Now I can leave my phone at home thanks to this app. I love how I can just pay for the app and I don’t need a subscription. Thanks for such a solid app! ⚡️

Looks great but limited functionality. I tried out other apps and prefer the look of this one. Also no phantom drain on the watch which was a deal breaker for me with other apps. Unfortunately, I cannot use any of the functionality like open doors, lock car etc because I get a 403 error upon any button push. So it’s really just a car key. Will wait a bit to see if this gets fixed. If not, on to the next app. Driving the car upon approaching with watch works fantastically.

Amazing app and Bluetooth wake can be faster. Overall I’m very happy and excited about this app. The UI is very clean and essential features are all there. The price point is also reasonable compared to the alternatives. One thing I suggest improving on is the latency waking the vehicle over Bluetooth. There is a 5-10 sec lag compared to waking the vehicle via iPhone. I suppose this is due to Apple Watch saving energy and this app trying to reduce BLE polling. Having a preference setting that allows a bit more aggressive polling will help users make the trade offs.

Must have app for Tesla owners. I’ve only been using this for a few days buts it’s already a game changer! Controls my Model Y flawlessly and really enhances the overall ownership experience. While it may not have the data or depth that some more advanced apps offer, it has everything you need for general use and the price is unbeatable. The additional Siri voice commands are a massive bonus!

Constantly asking to reauthenticate. Whenever I open the app it tells me to authenticate my watch or set up a virtual key. I have done this so many times. It doesn’t seem to know if this has been done already so just tells you to do it again. It sorta works for Siri Shortcuts (the reason I got it) but usually the shortcut times out the first time and works the second, so it’s barely more convenient than just opening the Tesla app

It used to be good, but it's been a disappointment since the API update. I used to love using this, but since they updated to the latest version and Tesla API it's been disappointing. The complication never works/updates, the app forces you to authenticate multiple times, and it keeps telling me to sign in when I've already done it multiple times. Overall it's just been more disappointing as time goes on.

Constantly retrieving vehicle data…. Not reliable at all. Constantly getting no vehicle information and stuck at “Retrieving vehicle data”, both on iPhone and Apple Watch app. When loading on the Apple Watch, the UI will change based on fetching data or not… and it WILL cause misclick on the action buttons. The developer needs to add an option to make the app local only and make the UI on watch to be stable, not moving around with vehicle status/scrolling/touch input.

I requested a feature and they actually put it in the app. First, it’s the cheapest Tesla watch app available which puts it in a very favorable spot. But what put it over the top for me was when they implemented a feature I requested maybe a month after I requested it. Great devs. Great app. Great price.

Only so-so. Don’t expect the same seamless connection to your Tesla as you get with your phone. The features only work if you open the app on your watch first. All of us who have made our phones there “key” expect a pretty seamless experience when they approach their Tesla. The Bluetooth automatically unlocks the vehicle. With the Watchla app, you have to open the app first then let load and connect with the car. So yes, it works but it’s not a great replacement for the Tesla phone app.

Would be 5 stars but for one (literally) painful flaw. Watchla is great for using a smartwatch for Tesla tasks, like opening the trunk, when your hands are too full to reach your smartphone. BUT…it often takes too long to connect to Bluetooth, and I find myself hitting a command twice before it registers. Today, I hit “Open Trunk” twice. The trunk opened, and I leaned over to load groceries into the hatch. But suddenly the trunk lowered, with the edge of it hitting me high and hard on my forehead. So, my request of the deveioper is to ensure that a command doesn’t register twice when chosen twice in quick succession.

Error: Missing required parameter: client_id. I would love to rate this higher, but after purchasing the app, I can’t even log in to test the app. After the download completes and clicking the “Sign in with Tesla” button, I immediately receive the aforementioned error[1]. I’m not even given the opportunity to enter any credentials. Until the developer resolves this, I can’t recommend anyone download this. I will update my review once this is resolved [1]Missing required parameter: client_id

Stopped working. I purchased this app because I wanted a backup just incase I lose my phone and forgot my wallet. Downloaded the app and followed all the instructions and tested operation on my new model X and it worked for several days and then I noticed that it kept on failing to send a command and it would just give me an error message. The app couldn’t even open a door or the charge port. I then deleted the app and reinstalled it and it still didn’t work, so I have requested a refund through Apple. I just wanted an app to work nothing fancy and it failed. It was installed on Apple Watch Ultra and iPhone 12 all upto date iOS. The search goes on, Happy New Year!!

Great when it works. Mainly use it to “Turn on Climate” or to open /close trunk for my dogs to load up on driveway while I’m still in the house. When it works it’s like magic, but way too often it fails and gives error, requiring a second (or more ) attempt. I don’t regret paying for it, but can’t fully endorse it until it performs more consistently.

App works great. I’ve had this app for over a year now and it works very well. I’ve found that if the watch can’t wake up the car then the phone app usually can’t also. Best investment Sofar.

I like the app but there’s a lag. when I want to use the app it needs to get ready I ask it to open the trunk, nothing for a few minutes

Doesn't work after the API update. This used to be good, however doesn't work after the Tesla API updates. This constantly requires auth and the watch complications are not working. It's a shame as we have paid for two in our house hold. Looks like the developer has given up on it as they haven't responded to messages. Don't recommend.

No issues. I was a bit worried buying this given all the negative reviews but everything worked as expected. Can now unlock my car with my watch using Bluetooth which is a great backup if something happens to my phone.

Rarely works. Worked ok when I first got the app but the last few months it won’t unlock the car. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling app and no difference. Will be moving to another app.

Never launch. After update. My Apple Watch 3 version 8 could not launch the app on Apple Watch. It still can open door and I can drive the car but if I want to lock the car, I am not able to do because I do not see the command. Please solve this.

Slow app. Slow responses when press command bottom, take 5-10 seconds to respond from the car most of time is not even working.

Apple Watch Series 5 does not work as a key anymore. Before the last update my Apple Watch used to work as a key to open and start the car. Since the new api was introduced Apple Watch does not work as a key and you cannot start the car. They only way around this is to use the commmands on the watch. And you can drive the car using the remote start function. However Tesla reminds you that you need a key.

Fix it please. Like everyone else complaining at the moment. Since the updates the app is now useless.

Lifetime purchase as long it lasted. I purchased the app some time ago. It used to work. Recently, it worked 1/10 attempts. Now, with the subscription only, I cant use the app that I bought some time ago. If you also had this issue: contact apple to get a refund and stay away from this developer.

App not responding. There’s a note in the app troubleshooting section that says there are issues following Teslas update in November. The es obviously have t been resolved because I can’t connect to the vehicle. Why is this app available to purchase if it doesn’t work?

Ultra2 watch key for Tesla3. It works! My Apple Ultra2 is now Bluetooth connected to my Tesla 3, just like a phone key, works in the background, it allows auto locking and unlocking the car, and driving the car when the phone is off. No bad for a one off few bucks

Stopped working on Apple Watch Ultra. Worked for a while, but then stopped working on the Apple watch ultra, I deleted the App 10 times and reinstalled it, I updated my apple watch software , and I reset my watch and still not working , it gives me a gray and green circles/wheels that rotates as if it is loading but stays like that for hours. I regret my purchase !

Awesome. Allows me to run without the phone. Well worth it!!

Blindsided. Worked reasonably fine for a while but since earlier this week, I was logged out of the app and can’t use the functions unless I sign up to a subscription model. No news, notification whatsoever on this and disappointing to see.

waste of money. not stable the watch app not working properly

Difficult setup, not fully functioning. I’ve just down loaded and installed this and companion iOS app on new iPhone and watch with current systems. The watch app will lock and unlock the car, and open the frunk and trunk and open/ the charge port. NO other commands work and after a long pause return an error 403. (Really helpful !) If you want to submit a request for support you have to sign up with GitHub to get a response. This app hasn’t been a joy so far, neither the support arrangements .

Short cut toggles. The short cut toggles you could add to watch faces to open and close the trunk or see battery percentage no longer work.

Works great sometimes, barely functions others…. The app behaves intermittently, sometimes it works perfectly and all the primary functions presented in the main UI work, but the commands from the ‘All commands list’ never seems to work. Today I tried to unlock my Tesla with my watch as I’d left my phone in the house and couldn’t. I could unlock the charge port though (which I was what I needed), but the unreliability means I’d never trust this app with my watch (SE on OS 10) to use alone as a key.

Used to be good. This app is now unworkable with constant “token expiry” and failing to connect to the car.

No Communication. Setup a new watch, app not working, start googling. Apparently subscription based now even though I had a lifetime subscription. No comms from devs. Uninstalled

Barely works. It's so broken. It looses authentication then gets glitchy and you can't re-authenticate. Randomly you rely on the watch key, only for it to have disappeared. Can't believe I spent money on it tbh

Support for RH Drive doors. Great app. Little bug. The open doors option doesn’t realise my car is right hand drive. So tapping the RH front door opens the left. Only an issue on screen that shows all 4 doors.

Doesn’t work on Ultra watches. Was great, but over the last few months the complications have stopped working. Watch doesn’t report mileage. Still no fix . Shame . Still not working on Ultra , Aug24

Doesn’t work. Downloaded the app, frustrated it didn’t work, seems as if Tesla updating API has impacted the app which renders it functionless

Money Wasted. Unfortunately the app isn’t quite there yet. The bugs and connectivity errors are a massive inconvenience, which defeats the purpose of the app. The battery percentage in the watch complication does not update live and the overall app doesn’t justify the cost of $9.99.

waste of money and time. constantly fails to execute commands when you need them . constantly needs to be re-paired with iphone. dont waste your time or money on this useless app

Must have app for Tesla owners. Firstly, it’s not super expensive and no monthly subscription needed. It’s primarily a watchOS app not an iOS app, but it has all essentials covered, and easy to use. I love the siri commands, especially to open and close trunk when carrying shopping bags in both hands !!!

Amazing app. Essential purchase. Blown away by this app. Has made surfing so convenient. Locks car remotely. Can always see Tesla charge on my Apple Watch Ultra 2. Wish I bought it sooner! Not sure why people are saying it doesn’t work. It’s worked flawlessly. 2024 MY

Must now have WatchOS 8.0 or above!. BEWARE! Since the update of Watchla this morning , my Apple watch no longer will see or run the Watchla app. After further investigation, I realized that my second generation Apple Watch can not run any WatchOS later than version 6.3. Watchla now will only run on Apple Watch with WatchOS version 8.0 or above. It was working fine before Watchla made this update. But not anymore. Do not buy this app if your Apple Watch cannot run WatchOS 8.0 or above.

The most useless thing you can buy for your Tesla. Takes forever to wake up. Your phone, watch and Siri do a much better job. If you still have $9.99 burning a hole in your pocket, buy some cup holders or some other junk, may be more useful!!

Wont start the car. The Watchla app is great only trouble is it gets you into the car but you can’t drive it.

Watch face addition. The app use to work on the watch face but can no longer choose it on my Apple watch. Not sure if this is a Apple thing or app thing. App still works if selected from the app screen.

Never works when you need it. App just doesn’t do what it’s meant to do. Deleting this one and will try something else. By the time the app responds, it would be faster to go back inside the house and get your phone to unlock the car or do anything else. One star.

Good but…. Works quite well but there is definitely a problem getting information shown on watch complication to mirror that of the application on the watch app and the phone app. It’s like the complication data is not updating/syncing.

App causing 470 pings a day to the car.. Just finished a conversation with a Tesla tech and it looks like the this app is pinging the car 470 times a day, they were very concerned and asked me to reset the password. That helped to reduce the daily pings to 200. I have now removed the app from the phone and Watch to see if all the unnecessary pings are gone. Good app but it basically may void your car warranty if some parts fail due to excessive ping. Be careful! Hope you have a good liability policy.

Simple & Works. Great little utility- really handy when you dont have your phone with you. It can take a while to wake/load connection with car but suspect that’s as much to do with Tesla API than the app itself.

Not working. Can I have my money back please - this is totally unreliable and won’t work at all this morning. I am sitting other car - the Tesla phone app is working fine and this just gives me endless error messages. Appeared to work when I set it up last night for the first time - but now no good. Need these things to be reliable or they are of no value.

Doesn’t work with current API. Despite two releases after buying the ap and not realising it doesn’t work, it still doesn’t work. Based on consumer law in Aus - they should pull down the ap until it actually operates as per its promise. Only a matter of time before they cop it.

Worked well until Tesla updated settings for 3rd party. I had this up and running until late last year when Tesla updated their privacy settings for third party apps — I have been unable to access the app. I have reached out for support numerous times but have been ignored. AVOID. Don’t waste your money.

No longer working after the recent update.. As the title suggest, won’t wake up the vehicle, consistent communication error. Worse then useless.

Good app but too much phantom drainage. Great app but is causing heavy phantom drain. Phantom drain stopped when I disabled wake vehicle in the settings. Hopefully dev can fix it.

Doesn’t seem to work since update to new API. I have an Apple Watch Series 6, and while the app worked prior to the update to the new API, I can’t get it to work as I can’t get the watch app connected to Bluetooth. Anyone else having this problem. While I appreciate that this is a once only charge I only bought the app in December 2023. DEVELOPER can you confirm that this app is not supported for Series 6 watches please. Or I have another problem - user error perhaps. I have been attempting to get the app working a few times until frustration gets the better of me. There seems to be a lot of disgruntled consumers giving feedback to you with little response.

Used for a week and stopped working. A waste of money, should have saved money and waited for the Tesla watch app to work.

App not Response all time. Why did you have to messed it up when something too perfect. Now it’s so much delaying, lack of respond. please fix ASAP.

Great…when it works…. I’m a long suffering ‘try to user’ of this app, and at first, when it worked, I thought, “this is great!” Then there were hiccups and malfunctions. Over the past several months, there have been more and more days that the app doesn’t work. Currently, many days in a row that it isn’t working, so it’s useless, as in for example, I have to use my phone to unlock my car. No matter how many times you set up the virtual key ‘successfully’. Its not successful. Still doesn’t work. Super unreliable, super frustrating. Maybe an upgrade that will actually work is on the way *sigh*.

Close the frunk. I have an after market automatic frunk opener. Please program a Siri “close the frunk”

Keeps disconnecting. Despite added as a key it is very slow to respond. I always have to pull my phone out to unlock. Not helpful.

Great backup. Best alternative if you don’t carry the keycard on you and have a Cellular Apple Watch. Definitely has come in handy, plus has a very nice UI.

Apple Watch as a fob and control for your Tesla without the high price. I was looking at another Apple Watch app to control my Tesla. I often go to the car and don’t always have my phone on me. The price of the competitor app put me off a bit. Not only does Watchla allow me to access my Tesla, I can drive with my watch with only Bluetooth enabled. As an added bonus, I can also set up charging, climate, open the trunk and frunk, enable and disable dog mode and more. Much cheaper than getting another Tesla key card or fob. Looking forward to setting up Siri to access for functions. Caveat: according to Watchla website “ In general, it is believed that all Model 3 and Y vehicles are compatible and all refreshed 2021 and later Model S and X vehicles are compatible as well.”

Stopped working. After recent update by Tesla, this app seems to be dead. The car completely ignores the watch. I've tried deleting, reinstalling and resetting, no luck. Dead. Wait to see of they fix this before buying.

New update render app useless. It says the api has changed and I need to update in order to work. Went through the whole process. Now I have to use my key and connect from scratch everytime I use it!!! I have 2 cars, and switching between them was seamless before. Now I don’t even bother because it never works without a key card. And the shortcuts that I put in my watch face have all gone blank. I can tap and open the app with it, but it won’t display anything like battery info. It’s just a blank space.

Developer who knows what they’re doing.. Well earned five stars because this app is to thoroughly well supported by the developer. Has a really solid beta cycle such that you’re not guessing about what’s happening on bug fixes. On top of that, it’s pretty elegant software for a fair price.

Like it a lot. Today’s update added widget to iPhones with iOS 16. For the battery, my car is in kilometres, but it is showing it in miles (exact calculated number), only on the Lock Screen, on the watch and app it is in kilometres.

Works once in a while. Most stressful Apple Watch App of all time. Cannot be relied on when needed. At present too many major issues to list here.

Draining my car’s battery. The app is phantom draining my battery to around 3% in 6 hours when the car is parked inside the covered garage.

Great but…. It’s been a great app to have on my watch! Since this last update, have not been able to connect. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and still a dud.

Simple and easy to use. This is far superior to those other blood-sucking, leech apps that charge a monthly subscription for rarely used functionalities.

Couldn’t find vehicle. App is not finished. Issues with first time sign-in (had to restore purchase immediately after signing up). Car is not found after signing. Uninstalling and cancelling. Nice features, if we are able to get to them. :)

New Shortcuts. The new update with shortcuts only work in iPhone. I hope the developer can get the shortcuts to work with iWatch. In addition, please add open driver door and front passenger door.

Access Denied Error. Oauth fails due to 403 technical error. Not well maintained. App does not work at all as of today.

Sulayman Touray. This is slick I love it, this thing lets you talk to Siri and control your car, I didn’t know it did all this. What a surprise!

Using Apple watch as your key.. Took a few tries to connect to Bluetooth. But it seems to be working now.

Need a Bluetooth ONLY option. No login whatsoever. This app should consider a Bluetooth only option where user credentials never need to be provided (during setup)

Works most of the time. I periodically get an error in the app asking me to try reconnecting, but it eventually wakes up the car and manages to connect. Quite useful overall and looks great.

Too many issues…. Looks nice enough but you have to open the app on your watch to use it as a key. It has issues updating charge stats. The worst though is that it no longer updates complications. Frustrating…

This app made my life easier EVERYDAY!. I honestly use this app everyday. I check battery range, when the weather is hot I turn on the AC, when my hands are full with grocery bags, I use Siri to open my trunk. Even when I forget my phone, this app will not only unlock but also let me drive. This is the best app any Tesla owner can have. I paid for the upgraded version and it was very well worth it!

Swipe. I think a swipe between cars would be useful ao a user can switch the controls between cars more easily instead of switching the car under preferences

PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This app does nothing more than the free Tesla app does. It claims to work with Bluetooth commands and has a section where you can turn on certain commands, however, the iPhone says cannot complete this function every time you try to use them. Total waste of money. Also, tried to get support, and you have to download another app to send them a request for help.

New version keeps having connection errors!. Ever since the new iOS app launched, the watch app keeps having connection errors that only get fixed when opening the iOS app. The iOS app works fine. The watchOS app can’t keep a solid connection no matter how many relogins I try.

Recent updates killing battery life. After the most recent update, my watch was killed in 2 hours from 100% not sure what’s going on but uninstalling until it’s fixed

Doesnt work. The app cannot connect to the watch. I have ultra 2 and it keeps showing “error”. I placed the key card near the cup holder in my car and it says “connecting…..” but nothing. I waited more than 5 minutes and it cant connect. I signed off and restarted. Still….. not working!!!

Ruined a perfectly working app. This app was seamless until the API updates came in. Now its totally useless. The developer is trying to fix but seems like every fix introduces another bug.

Can’t sign into Tesla. They updated the app to require a new api. The Watchla page on my phone is longer than my phone display and it does not scroll. I can’t click the login button. The app is unusable now. Hopefully they discover this issue and fix it.

Amazing app but is it draining my Tesla battery. I love this app so far, but my car dropped 3% ever since having this app installed. Has any one else experienced this? This is unusual for my battery to decrease like this.

App works great. I’ve had this app for over a year now and it works very well. I’ve found that if the watch can’t wake up the car then the phone app usually can’t also. Best investment Sofar.

Downhill. I got this app as I had locked myself out of my new Tesla. Found this app and it saved me so much. At the time I bought it for a lifetime price. But that doesn’t mean anything to them for the legacy users. But now that they have made these changes, it has gone downhill. I cannot get it to work at all thru the Bluetooth. I will not be following this app any longer.

Another app that don’t work.. I installed this today on both my and my wife’s watch. Setup was fairly simple. Added a Bluetooth key on each device and they both worked. Fast forward 3hrs later and both watches stopped working. The Bluetooth key on both watches say disconnected and we were sitting in the car. Another waste of money!

Just okay. Works great when its working. Often times is buggy and it’s a hit or miss. It’s frustrating when not working and just gives you an error and doesn’t tell you what to do to get it back on line properly.

Great app with easily used iOS shortcuts. Works great. Would love a shortcut to enable/disable cabin overheat and one to send an address to the car.

Can’t change the vehicle?. I was trying to remove old vehicle and place new one ,It’s almost impossible. This app crashes and non-responsive, with the Bluetooth is barely connect, and requires authentication multiple times. I recommend software update from the owner or the company to fix this app as it’s useless for me at this point .

It will not refresh the watch widget info. I have tried everything but the watch always shows the wrong widget info in terms of charge and inside temp, the phone app and the watch app are completely unsynch

Transition to new Tesla API broke the app. The app was good until the most recent change to the new Tesla API. Now the commands rarely work and the face watch widget always pulls up the charge screen now. It often freezes trying to get back to the Home Screen. Overall a major downgrade from the once awesome app

Fantastic app. It’s working now just fine. I think it’s a great addition. I recommend this for any user. It’s cool it works and it’s quick so you don’t have to pull out your phone. Love it!!!

Can not get to sync. I have spent over an hour trying to get it to sync so that I can use watch to open door instead of phone No luck I had to call Tesla and uninstall Tesla app to get that to get that to work again. I will keep trying as I paid the $7.

This is a $1.99 One Time Purchase App. This is insane that developer is trying to grab $1.99 per month for a Bluetooth only app. This app should be between $.99 and $1.99 for a flat out purchase. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to try and grab a monthly subscription price. Shame on you for even attempting this to unsuspecting consumers that don’t know any better.

Finally a Tesla Watch App! But…. I have wondered when someone, Tesla or anyone would utilize the AppleWatch as a Tesla Key. This App, in Principle and Concept is just about perfect. However, it has trouble connecting each and every time I try to do anything, open doors, unlock car, open Trunk or Frunk. And I still carry a Key Card just in case, the car tells me all the time, it lost key connection or that is no key connection. Great work in progress, keep pushing it!

Does not update. Save your money, this app needs a baby sitter. Constantly having to uninstall and reinstall just to get the app to update the charge status one time and then needs more baby sitting. Tesla native app is the best app that is basically the same solution type. Pass on this app!

Bluetooth. It works but I can’t get the Bluetooth to connect on my watch, I put the key card in every configuration, made sure all the settings on my phone and vehicle were turned on and it still won’t connect.

Okay start. This thing is slow and buggy but it does with a lot of the time. They really need to improve performance with the connection to the car and the watch features don’t always work! Update please and fix your bugs.

Unable to pair bluetooth with my model. Got the car dec2. Keep showing errors. Not sure its just my car or software issues.

Rarely Works, no support. Have been using for about a month, if you learn the oddly specific order of operations, sometimes the app functions. Mostly you see an extremely delayed state of your car. If you aren’t with your phone, nothing on watch works (defeats the point of a watch app to me). If you want support fixing an issue, forget about it. Disappointed.

The Bluetooth connection is almost nonexistent. First, it would take forever, then it will stop working saying that could not establish production. I expected much better than this. I am extremely disappointed.

No longer Works. This used to be my go to for my Tesla. Since recent updates the app no longer sees my car. I have tried removing and re-adding the app, deleting the virtual key and re-adding it too. The mobile app nor the watch app will get vehicle info.

Still doesn’t work. I purchased this app primarily for use speaking through watch app to deliver commands to Vehicle. Been almost a year with both Watchla and apple watch support and neither could figure out why the shortcuts are not functioning properly. I really wanted this app to work, but seems like I just donated money here unfortunately.

Doesn't update status on watch or phone. The watch and phone birth constantly show the wrong info and there is no way to fix it. The app maker never addresses the issue and seems to ignore it. Do not waste your time.

App Has not worked since update. After the API update this app was completely bricked. Won’t connect. Won’t work. Nothing. Review boards show that MANY users reported the error with NO response from the developer and now the app just disappeared from my Apple Watch. Waiting for a response before I file for a refund.

Adds Key Redundancy increasing reliability. The Watchla Tesla remote key app’s dual keys resolve the unreliability of the iPhone key. Having two keys has smoothed out problems when the app goes in the background. A practical fix for a common issue.

It breaks itself. Why does you app work for a couple of days and without doing anything different it stops working? I will never recommend this app it is useless until you can get rid of these bugs

Unreliable. The app used to work fine. However, after a number of recent updates is become very unreliable. When I finally have it working, it is inconsistent and does not update the battery percentage. -Even when the Watchla app on my iPhone shows the correct percentage. It just does not sync. Always shows the same. Most of the time the app keeps spinning on the watch.

It works!. With Bluetooth integration all I need is my AppleWatch to unlock and drive my 2023 Tesla model 3. How cool is that!? Please keep the updates coming. So much potential. 👍👍

Super simple to use, give my Apple Watch super powers!. Easy controls, face widgets are great and it just works. I can leave my phone behind and get in my car no problem.

Own a Tesla, you need this app.. I love everything about keyless entry on my Tesla and so getting this app a perfect addition. The developers keep this app updated frequently and it gets better and better.
