Dopeness!!!. This app is awesome! It not only zips and unzips files, but it offers encryption. What is a huge bonus for me is that I can import .wav, .mp4, .mp3, .aiff etc. files from my Mega upload account, and store them locally on my iPhone. It has its own media player inside to listen to all of my own music without the need of iTunes. This is the ONLY app I have found with the capabilities of storing and playing my own downloaded music without having to sync to iTunes. Sure, I could use Dropbox, but personally I would rather have my music stored locally on my device rather than a cloud ssrvice or iTunes. Thank you!!

Great app and great support. This is my go to archiving tool for both my iPhone and iPad. I really like that it supports the file browsing feature While also giving you dedicated buttons for the most popular storage services. When I reported a bug, I received a response the next day With some questions. After I responded, they released a new version that resolved the (minor) bug. A couple of other big pluses is that it supports multiple encryption schemes and you can even specify a default. I have opened very large zip files with it and never had a problem. It also supports multiple archive types and I've never had a problem with those either. I upgraded to The pro version and it was worth every penny. One thing that's always annoyed me about iOS Is that they won't let you share audio files. I understand that for files that are copyrighted (just pay for them, everyone will be happier)but for those that aren't, You can use iZip To archive files from your music library and back them up, share Public domain audio, etc. Comcsoft Makes some other very useful iPhone/iPad utilities that you may want to check out

The app work good “but”. The app works very well but I got this app so I could unzip a file but when the zip has a folder it doesn’t let me sent that folder to google drive instead it ask me to select everything that is inside that folder one by one so when it sends to Google Drive is a mess.

Unzip and playback issues. When I tried to unzip a folder over 4.8 GB, I got the error "Wrong password or Operation Failed" and then "Operation Failed - Unknown Error". Used another app as a workaround. Also, when an audio file finishes playing, the audio file that is listed next in the same folder automatically starts playing. There should be an option to disable autoplay of the next audio file (or any other type of file this occurs on).

Not worth the money. Can’t access Google Drive fully.. Bought the Pro version, but was immediately disappointed. Got WinZip instead. I was looking for a tool for my new iPad Pro for ZIP files. My coworkers send me WeTransfers quite a bit. I saved it to Google Drive. I couldn’t access the file through this app to unzip it. WinZip did the trick. So...I lost $6. Maybe you won’t if you follow my advice.

Ripped me off!. I had already made the in-app purchased upgrade because I truly do enjoy this app! However, a feature in the app misleads you into making an additional purchased “upgrade” on the App Store.... by purchasing the standalone version of the pro app!!! So now I’m stuck with TWO of the exact same Apps on my iPhone! Both paid for! Apple “determines” a refund doesn’t fit the requirements...

Love it!. I've used this app for years to organize, zip, and upload clip art I create to my Adobe creative cloud.

Cheap and perfect. I have switched to almost exclusively using my iPad for work, but couldn’t open certain bulk files. iZip Pro solved that problem. It’s cheap enough that it pays for itself with one use, and robust enough to open any file type I’ve thrown at it. Now, when I’m designing, I don’t have to stop run to my computer, open a rar, send the file to my iPad and loose all that creative momentum. Highly recommend

Good,but need some improvements. It’s good, but there is no ability to multible deletion of files,it’s very wasteful of time if you have multiple files that you want to delete but you have to delete them one by one. Also in same aspect when you want to let’s say copy multiple videos to another app they have to zip it first then copy it,it would be very nice if we have the chance to choose if we want them unzipped or not.(like VLC you can send multiple videos through AirDrop to another device,not one by one in this app) I hope you here me out and improve this great app.

Awesome. Easily save zip files and open. Then transfer to a cutting machine or print them as you would like! User friendly!

Essential App. This app (along with GoodReader) are the primary motivators for my choosing the iOS platform as my platform of choice. Download virtually ANY type of file (especially compressed) to it: email to a recipient, extract and view within the app (as long as the file type(s) can be viewed by a corresponding app), or access via iTunes when connected to your PC. Have used as an essential application since paying for it five (5) years ago. Trust me, this one’s a real gem.

File app is impacted. This is a very useful app but when I want to open a text documents or PDFs in File app after I updated to iOS 11, it would automatically open iZip which is very annoy. Hope you guys can fix it quickly.

Still using every day even though iOS now uncompresses files. I tried another app for unzipping (Zip Viewer) as I download a lot of zipped files on my iPhone. Zip Viewer was horrible! I still have files stuck there that I can’t get. I decided to try iZip and after using it for a couple of weeks, I went on and got the Pro version. Although iOS now uncompresses files, I still use this daily, as I find it easier to keep my files organized. I definitely recommend this app to anyone who needs to compress or uncompress files. The design is very user friendly & it’s just a great app all around. Beware of Zip Viewer! I’ve been trying for about 2-3 years to get files from there and their support team will no longer respond because the “solution” they offered was something that isn’t possible to do because of changes to iTunes. Definitely go with iZip Pro for all your zipping/unzipping needs. :)

Can’t believe it!. I'll admit it, my files were in a hot mess. Worse than that, I had no idea how to fix them. Somehow, I got lucky and found this app yesterday. This morning, I opened my Files and recognized everything I had been throwing in them for the past 2 years...but it was all in perfect, understandable, logical, readable order! If this app could straighten out my stuff, it can fix anything.

iZip Is great.😀😀😀😀😀😀. So after I got iTunes I could not get to my iPad Minecraft worlds because they were in a folder but thanks to iZip I could zip up my worlds and move them to my pc. And it works Minecraft on my pc runs the worlds just like normal. Thank-you so much for making iZip EnderManWiggins

Good App But still has bug. I really like the app it's really good but there has been a bug in there since at least iOS14. The bug takes affect when you try to scroll really fast through your items list. The app closes down. It's REALLY annoying. You have to scroll down at a medium speed which can take forever if you have a lot of files. I employ the team to find this bug and squash care it. Thank You.

Increased security costs usability.. This app does an excellent job managing my Zip and archived data files. My needs are more for information (contents of the archive) than for improved security. In my case apple security protects access to your app which I do not use for data requiring additional security. 95% of the data I use this app to extract are various eBooks almost all for pleasure reading.

IT’s Taking over Control of Files. I used it for lots of folders and files, then it began opening each time a file I tried to access. Every file I wanted to access inside of an already unzipped folder kept launching the app just to view my own files. It turned a very normal uneventful task into a chore each time, requiring e to use the app to view my own files. I took away my file autonomy and became dependent on the app. Will NEVER USE AGAIN. Who knows what else it might be doing with such control. I’m deleting the app after moving all files into iCloud for containment

Works very well except..... This app does as advertise. Only thing is that in this latest update is that is you try to swipe file/folder and try to delete it. It will instead delete the very first file/folder on your list instead of the file/folder you intended to delete. If that gets fixed i would put this app at 5 stars.

Great App for MAC users!. Very user friendly and works well will Apple devices! All of my files are stored here and can easily be opened, whether it’s a Word document, Adobe file, or a document from Pages! I highly recommend this App! A+😃

So great!. As a teacher, many of my lessons are formatted into zipped files. Which is great, except that I loathe my desktop and prefer using my iPad for everything. This was the absolute last thing I needed for my iPad to replace my desktop. This app is beyond helpful!

Works but needs drag and drop. This app works for zipping and unzipping, but it needs to improve the iOS workflow. The key example would to make it easier to open a ZIP file from a cloud drive (without saving it inside the app using up valuable space), unzip all files, and drag and drop (or copy and paste) them back into the cloud service.

Not worth it. Bought the Pro version to get rid of ads, but I’ve noticed a difference in sound quality when it came to playing music on the app, the high end seems to distort and sound crunchy compared to the free version. Plus there’s soo much glitches!!! Please fix the glitches and make the audio player quality the same as the free version.

Not working since latest IOS upgrade. I have used this app consistently for several years and never had a problem until the latest IOS upgrade. Until the past few days the app worked flawlessly. Now when I download files through iZip the app shuts down before I even have a chance to save it to Dropbox. I’m hoping developers will see this review and know there is a disconnect somewhere between this app and IOS. I much prefer to stay with an app that I already feel comfortable using.

Amazing!!. Does what it says for nearly 10years now. I haven’t noticed if it updates regularly,, don’t care cause it worked for me again today! :-)

Zipper. The interface is easy to navigate and I like the zip with password feature to secure files when using email, txt, or saving sensitive to off site locations.

Worked for what i needed it for.. The only thing I would change is the ugly ‘pro’ on the app button. How about putting ‘lite’ or ‘free’ on the free version.

Amazing. I use this app heavy to extract ZIP & RAR files on my mobile device to send emails and upload to Dropbox. I love it. I’m very mobile so having this app and not having to rely on always having my laptop with me is clutch for work.

Name of files. Hi The file names do not display correctly because the list is just about half of the screen and this is causing a lot of troubles when searching for some files like tv series which have long names

Very basic, hard to manage files. I rarely write negative reviews, but I’ve been searching for an app to do something simple: 1) Unzip a file from iCloud 2) The file has folders, so copy the folders back to iCloud If you need to do something like this, IZip Pro is NOT the right choice. This app will let you copy multiple “things” (files, folders) to iCloud, but it forces you to ZIP them _back_ up in order to move them. As an iOS developer, I know this is NOT a limitation of Apple’s SDK, this is just a use case that isn’t supported. The file management and searching functions should be “full-featured”, and should search recursively in folders. Not worth the $. Try something else (WinZip is worse, BTW).

Love it!. I use this app to open up zip files for my business and I love the fact that I can open it up on my iPhone and I can share the pictures and the information there very easily. It is very easy to download files, to open up those up files and check out all the information there, and easy to share. I've not had any problems using this app at all.

This is crap. Fiddled with it for 35 minutes and was unable to get the zip file that I downloaded open due to it not being found on my iOS device. It is there and there are contents (20 to be exact) when opened with another crappy zip utility that had ads in it. I paid 5.99 for this?

Worth every penny. I generally get buyers remorse on apps and it’s often because I’m an impulsive buyer. But this is app does not fall into the mentioned category. This app is one of those rare gems that you are very glad you stumbled upon, I keep finding new ways to utilize it and it helps expand the file management capabilities on your phone greatly above the limitations of the basic file management app of iOS. I had the free version first but found It worthwhile to upgrade and if you start with the free version you’ll probably make the same call.

Important feature missing. Solid app which performs as advertised, but misses a useful feature. Please implement WiFi Transfer between iOS device and computer. Also, it would be nice to be able to toggle Dark Mode on/off from within the app settings. Otherwise, nice app.

App Does Not Work “edited”. Edit: I’ve changed my review from a 1 star to a 3 star because the developer quickly fixed the issue. However, the app still crashes when trying to use the iCloud Drive share menu to open a zip file in to iZip. Also, it would be nice if you could save an entire folder with its contents back to iCloud Drive instead o just the files. I downloaded thinking that the 1 star reviews were just impatient one time downloads. Well, I downloaded and I am experiencing the same issues. I get errors when trying to extract a file downloaded from wetransfer and I’ve tried multiple cloud platforms (iCloud, OneDrive, etc.) How do I get a refund?

Big problem with this app. Apparently it can open any zip file as long as it doesn’t have a password. I want my money back

Love the current interface!. Simple to use & has always worked for me :) I cannot recall how many years this app has lived on my iPad now but it's one that has survived every 'clean up' - and there has been a few, I'm not afraid to try new apps out. For me, this ones proved to be a keeper.

Good Zipper & Unzipper. Works well but to restore its lead over the competition, suggest the app includes a setting for max zipped file sizes (ie break into multiples) and a facility to cut & paste files between accessed folders.

Very laggy. There is a bad lag when using izip pro on iihone 13 pro max. This is mainly with pdfs in the app. Please fix this and or add 120hz capability when scrolling. Other than this its a decent app

Don’t work, don’t waste your money. I paid for the full version to unzip 1 folder in Dropbox. Didn’t work, nil options will be asking Apple for a refund as it does not work as it suggests.

Money Wasted. So far, it looks like having been a total waste of money. I need something to unzip files from Google Drove. Nothing unzips. The download stops when my screen time-out blackout comes on. If there is something else that I need to be doing, it's not at all obvious and I can't find it.

Does not zip enough. I bought this app to zip a video to send over messenger or messages and it did not work. Still says it’s too big. Very disappointed

Excellent app- highly recommend. opens zip files with .png, .jpeg. .doc, .pdf. I import my files from email to Dropbox then send it from Dropbox to izip. Opens some excel files too but certain cells might show error values. Easy to use- fast too

Crashes on Password protected Zip Files. I could not verify further but this is quite annoying as the authors say it supports this kind of file. Maybe this is because my zip files contain jpeg images & this program does not support the jpeg format. Either way, this is quite a disagreeable surprise

Didn’t compress a PDF File. Tried to compress a PDF file that’s was 154MB the app compressed it to 144MB.

No iCloud Drive Support?. Paid for and downloaded the app. Took me a bit to figure out how to use it properly but once i did it worked fine. Biggest disappointment is the lack of iCloud drive support. I can’t even figure out how to access files stored in my iPad storage. It would be the perfect app for me if it had better iOS / iPadOS integration. Hate having to use Google Drive just to zip files. Please add iCloud Drive support, i mean it makes sense as its an iOS / iPadOS app! Unless its there and I’m doing something wrong. Thanks.

izip. I like the izip app but it would be nice if I could zip pages documents. The app does frees if your sending large zips.

A must for your iPad. I have the newest iPad Pro 12.9 - the mini 3 and an older iPad 4 and this is indispensable. I am using it currently with the latest iOS but I have been using it for years. Works like a charm and I highly recommend it.

Doesn't work. Purchased this to download the videos I took from my child's Xmas concert. I still can't get the videos off my phone to my Pc. Waste of money

doesnt even extract rar files. this app is a joke I tried to unzip different rar files and kept getting an error so much for it to be called “pro” luckily i found a BETTER and WORKING app

Useful but impacts Files app. My favorite Zip tool but I have to leave it uninstalled until I need it. I also use iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) and Files opens iZip instead of the iWork app.
