“Click allow on your TV”. In order to get this to connect your TV, you have to click allow on your television… With the remote control… That you don’t have.

Tv Remote. Does not work!

$7 a week is too much,. The $7 a week charge motivates you to go and buy a remote, and save money in the long run. It like I’m paying these guys to watch TV, and that’s silly , it’s not going to work, nobody is that gullible.

Not free and exploitative. It costs a subscription fee and is not free. You need a TV remote to enable the pairing to a TV. And worst of all, in the terms and conditions it says they have permission to exploit all of your personal information including name, voice, image, etc. It actually says “exploit”.

NOPE!. Look idk what it is with all the remote apps that want you to go into the settings or something on the TV when obviously you can’t do that because you don’t have a controller it’s so stupid and then they want you to pay monthly which is absolutely ridiculous I’ve done tried and none of them will hook to mine And mines a smart TV so trust me when I say this app 👎

Unsupported and won’t connect phone to tv. You don’t know until after you download the app that it won’t connect your phone to the tv. It is unsupported for Roku tv with my iPhone. The one device in the house that appears to be supported, still won’t connect.

Not free. This remote is not free at all u have have to pay for it all the way around so do not get it at all

Tv remote. No difficult to find

Trash. Im downloading so many universal remotes that are “free” but they are not free you have to get premium in order to make it work. It’s supposed be free there is one that is free I have been using but im trying different ones, DONT LIE and say its FREE when its not!!

It’s a Hard Pass for All. $6.99 . . . PER WEEK??!!? $6.99 as a one time only payment would be way too expensive for this app. It’s a hard pass for me, as the cost is exorbitant on steroids.

It works and it’s easy. $7 is ridiculous high for this !! We have two remotes to control our TV. A Roku for the channels & a tv remote for the volume on/off. It’s misplaced and I needed to turn it down since the volume was loud, with installing this it was easy! It does it all. If it was cheaper I’d keep it. ✌️

Useless. Don’t advertise the app as universal if you aren’t able to control every tv. It’s literally useless. You gotta pay to use a remote? Nahhhhhhh don’t get it and if I could give it zero stars I would.

Remote. Too expensive ridiculous price

Scam, do not download!. Not only does it cost $7 a week!! for you to have a virtual remote for your own tv but once you subscribe, you cannot cancel within the app. I was unable to find any option within the settings that allows for you to see your subscription or payment method or any of the typical information a subscription service will usually provide. It makes you feel trapped. If I hadn’t know that that Apple Store shows you your subscriptions and allows you to cancel them from the store, I’m sure I would have been frantically emailing the customer service for weeks, racking up bills for $7, never to be seen again. Not to mention, my Samsung smart tv was not even support by the app so it was useless so me immediately.

Trap. I downloaded this app and I was unable to use it. It did not work for the Roku box. I was unable to cancel because there’s no option to cancel on the app and the website page has no where to login. I am trying to go thru the Apple Store and cancel that way. It’s the worst experience and you feel like you are being set up

A warning. Update 05/07/2025: The company, in their reply below, requested I email them directly for assistance at the provided address. I did email them, and I explained why I was emailing. I waited two weeks for a response, and this is what the CS agent said: “Why are you emailing?” I explained the situation again, hit send, only to find their mailbox is now full, so they are unreachable. The replies they post here are not to provide actual help, but rather to try and make themselves look good. This is truly a scam, and I will be reporting them. Please beware and select a different remote. This is one of those times you wish zero stars was an option. I was promised a free, three day trial, before being charged an annual fee. I downloaded the app, found it didn’t work, went to cancel, and discovered I had already been charged. No refund offered.

Free trial Scam. To use the volume feature you need to pay the subscription fee. It clearly says “3-day Free Trial” and then 6.99 a week. Once I signed up, I instantly got a charge for 13.03 dollars…

Universal tv remote no longer works. On October 25, 2023, I paid over $40.00 (including tax) for a lifetime license to the app. Bought it with an iPhone 12. Have since upgraded to an iPhone 16. Just recently, the app no longer works and only wishes to extort me for more money. 💰 What do I do? Please help as I appreciated my original purchase that worked. Thanx in advance.

The app stoled me $11.98. I did the purshaace of 3 days free for test and immediately when I complete the purshace they discounted $11.98 from my account! App store allowing fraud apps, nice.

TOTAL SCAM!!!. Do not download

Did not connect & overpriced. The app could not “discover” my Vizio smart tv. Tried all suggestions. It did detect the Roku TVs. Free for 3 days, the $6.99 a WEEK, every week until you cancel the subscription within your phone settings. Lots made I’m sure by forgetful and/or those that don’t take time to read. Legal, not very ethical. Cheaper to order multiple remotes & batteries from Amazon

Ripoff. That $6.99 you pay isn’t a one time charge to buy the app - you get charged the same amount weekly forever. Fail to notice that for a single year and you’re out $370.00. Unsurprisingly, there is no way within the app to cancel the forever charges.
