Amazing. I’ve had this for a few days and it has been nothing but magnificent. I love the layout and how its easy to figure out.

Missing some features. I love this app this brings me back, but I wish it had the old solitaire game on it. I think it would be super cool if that was added into the emulator.

best ipod-like music player for iphones. every ipod style app I’ve used has glitched out or been completely unusable. this is the smoothest one I’ve used! had no issues with Apple Music at all and I love that the wheel clicks like the ipods used to

Bring back an option for the iPod please!!. I really think the retro game boy is cool, because it is, but I got this app to give me a good feel of the UI of an old iPod, and it just stinks I can’t do that right now

Read recent reviews and stop giving bad feedback. Really like the new update and thank you for bringing it back, I have donated as well for all the effort you put into it. This is still the best player just read recent reviews to find the solution.

Looks nice too bad it won’t play anything. Loved the idea of turning an old iPhone into an iPod but I’ve installed on 2 (actually 3 but it requires iOS 13) and all get the error:“something goes wrong, try to play again”. Bummed

Impressive looking simulator. I love the retro feel. As much as I love my iPhone, I miss my old iPod. It even has the tactile feel of the click wheel. I will give them a full five stars if they fix the spelling errors. I’ll still happily use it, but the “Ramdom Play” takes me out of the experience. Also, a settings area would be nice, especially for languages. Maybe even the games, like solitaire, they had on some of the last iPods would be cool.

Used to be the best iPod emulator. If Apple made the the creator change this app into some lame brick breaker game, they should have just taken the original app from the store and let it die slowly without an update for those who downloaded it originally for the iPod Classic feel. It made me so happy and it hurts to see it go. Maybe they can release the Xcode file and let people port it, otherwise this thing serves as a graveyard.

No longer pod but game (?). It used to be a nostalgic iPod and now it’s a game (?) like it completely changed 180! I used to love it bc I would use it to shuffle bc it was better than Apple Music shuffles and everything was really good about it and nice formatting and all those stuff and now it’s just a messy game that you can’t even play …

Feels like malware. I deleted this app, immediately regretting downloading it. The ability to use it in English was unclear, and it’s demand to access all my media made me regret downloading it. Be very very careful with this app until it receives a significant number of reviews.

I take back what I previously said. I thought this was just a game boy with one game but then I read a review and figured out that there is also an iPod in the game and the review told me how to get there.

Bring back iPod UI. I download this app specifically for the iPod UI to listen to music while having that late/early 2000s iPod. But now it’s a game boy knock off? What happen and why did this change? Absolutely ugly and not even worth having on my phone.

cool but. the songs in playlists dont show up in order, they come up in alphabetical order which is annoying. PLEASE Fix this! i will donate 9.99 if you fix this soon. please update. also put playlists in alphabetical order just not the songs in them. the songs in the playlists should be in the playlist order

I hate this game and I want it back but there’s no room now I’m so upset. I have a love this game but some reason I can’t put any more games back onto my iPad. Thank you thank you very much if you didn’t notice that was sarcasm.

Really great! But one problem. I love the app and it is basically perfect! The only thing is the word "Random" is misspelled as "Ramdom". Just letting you guys know :)

I love it but crashes now. It started crashing and it won't let me use it.

Good so far needs spelling fixes.. Works well I like the haptic feedback. You all need to fix the spelling for random play. It should be “Shuffle” or at the very least “Random” not “Ramdom.”

Sooo cute. This is such nostalgia from other ipods but i love it i wish there was a widget to add to the home screen to see from there though other words it’s really cool.

It’s back!!!. I previously downloaded this app because it was a version of the old beloved iPhone and I really wish I hadn’t hit update. Deleted. UPDATE: I randomly came back to this app hoping it had gone back to the iPod version but was disappointed. However something told me to look at the reviews and I found a way to get the iPod version back! Thanks for allowing it and I’m giving it a full 5 stars again!!

My favorite. It's so polished, elegent, faithful and full of love. Makes my heart tremble with every vibration of the touch wheel. Arguably the best app in the app store.

Love the retro look. Lovely look, brings back memories, especially Cover Flow. A few spelling errors in English, hopefully they will get corrected in an update. Would also love the ability to shuffle within a playlist and scrub songs. Add a modern touch to a classic player.

This is Apple’s fault. I’d like to be clear that this review is geared more at Apple for forcing this app to change. It was originally an iPod emulator that worked great. Since Apple is too lazy to make it their self, this creator made it happen and it worked great. Then Apple got their greedy hands on it and removed it from the App Store. It’s back now that they completely changed the app to be a game emulator but it is not what I downloaded originally nor something I want.

Changed. I downloaded this to look like an old iPod and then completely change it up to be a old long playing game boy with one game. I’ll admit it’s kinda fun but annoyed it completely changed.

Great App. Very impressed. Super easy to connect to Apple Music and it functions perfectly. The themes are a novel idea and I’d love to see more (especially a light blue one), but overall, I’m really enjoying this app.

They changed the app. This used to be a really cool old iPod shuffle app now it’s a gameboy? :( I thought I could change it back to its old feature but I can’t apparently. The game is cool but I wish it was its own separate thing and not take away the ipod.

I love it!. This app is so cool and really gives me a lot of nostalgia. I use the black theme and it feels like my iPhone is an actual iPod classic! The one down side is you cannot see the time with this theme since everything is black except the screen and click wheel so I would like if the time could be integrated into the “iPod” screen at least when using this theme. Otherwise great app and I use it all the time.

Leaving a 1 star review? Not what you expected?. Play the little minigame again. See what it tells you on the game over screen. Connect the dots. It’s a retro video game. Retro video games always have cheat codes. Try putting in the most famous one and seeing what happens…

Great apple music integration!. Once the easter egg is unlocked, this app is amazing! Connected to apple music and was able to use just like my old classic for music playback and cover flow. The haptic feedback makes it feel authentic! I was considering restoring my OG device that had a bad hard drive, but this scratches that itch and works perfect for quick navigation through my music library! Leave a tip for the Developer! They deserve it!

Ruined it for me. Had the IPOD classic look only to find the app auto updated to some crappy retro game…. Why the change?

Why change the whole concept of the app?. As a lover of the iPod Classic, this was one of my favourite apps until the most recent update today. They have changed the whole concept of what the app is and now it is a pointless Gameboy clone. I hope this was a forced change from Apple, otherwise it makes even less sense.

What is this?. How do you from a retro iPod-style music player to a retro game boy? I downloaded this app for playing music on my phone, and it’s now been completely changed into something that I didn’t want or ask for. If the developer wanted to have a retro gameboy app, then just create a separate app, don’t use it to replace something completely different. Very poor form, and not what I wanted. If anybody knows of a similar app like the previous mypod app, share it in the comments. I’d rather support a developer who’s committed to their product.

Great app for iPod lovers. If you switch from a Game Boy to an iPod, it’s really good for music, but it would be cool if it could have podcast playback as well.

Fun but locks up iOS 16.2. Locks up/ freezes in IOS 16.2. Reboots do nothing to help. 5 star when fixed

Crashes every time I open the app. Was excited to use this app and bought it -just for it to not work. How can this be fixed?

Completely changed?. When I downloaded this app, it was a great iPod simulator. Suddenly, it’s changed to a Game Boy simulator without warning and seemingly no way to switch between the iPod and the Game Boy. This is so disappointing.

MyPod theme. Nice, got the app specifically for the MyPod theme. Unfortunately no seek function as in the original which is the primary reason I got the app. Can that be added?

Cover flow sorting is weird. Cool iPod throwback but if you fix the cover flow from sorting entirely in alphabetical order by album to sorting alphabetically by artist, you'd be on the money

Neat!. Really cool and throwback for 90’s kids, it’d be even better if you could have that as default on the Lock Screen

Please add volume indicator. Great app. Can you please add an audio indicator that lets us know what volume level we’re at?

Forces you to use albums. Forces you to use the album category, cannot jump straight from album to artist like the original, i have 14 albums by 1 artist, i dont want to dig through all 14 albums to see the works of 1 artist, so this app is effectively worthless l.
