Not quite the same game. I bought this because I wasn't able to find it on my pc. I bought this thinking I could enjoy these games again, but it doesn't have the same features. For one, the cake advanced level used to have you make multiple cakes at once for a real challenge, but instead you make one at a time. Plus, the textures are not the same, so I get cakes wrong because of this. If you played the original, you would understand. Disappointed by this.

Disappointment. Genuinely this game is such a disappointment. I bought it because like everyone else, nostalgia. I wish I could go back in time to tell my younger self to enjoy it because the 2026 version would be so trash.

Nostalgic disappointment. I remember playing this game as a kid and purchased it immediately after seeing it on the App Store. Imagine my disappointment when I realized the cake game, my absolute favorite, was made into a simple cake copying game without an ounce of difficulty. The conveyor belt does not even move on its own anymore and at most you’ll make a one tier cake. Don’t waste your money and just reminisce through memories.

Glitchy. It’s a fun remembrance, but it’s not worth the money. They game doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to and often freezes. Good idea but not executed the best.

Amazing, so many memories. I remember when I was younger I would play this on my father’s computer for what seemed like hours. It brings me joy to know people still enjoy it!

So nostalgic. This used to be my favorite game as a kid, and they did a great job turning it into an app. Maybe it’s not so difficult or not enough modes, but it’s also been 15 years. Of course it’s not so difficult 😭😭😭 It’s a great game. I was giddy when I saw it on the app store.

It’s very different. When I was little like around 4-5 I used to love to play the game and I loved it because of how it was made but now its very much different and I want it to be normal and restored to its old self please.

It popped off and now they charge. Would’ve been a lot better if they didn’t take advantage of the nostalgia factor. Clearly they read everyone’s 5 star reviews talking about the nostalgia it brought and realised they could make money off of it. Pretty pitiful. I downloaded this when it was free and was flabbergasted it was $2 when I told my friend to download it. Inflation even be hittin the games now……

Oh?. Lowkey i was so excited when i saw this but it ain’t nothing like the original like lowkey i was expecting the same sound affects or At least close to the old characters but nope i use to play this game so much but i cant cause this ain’t kinda a replica, can y’all change the sound or characters specially for the cake game i beggggg.

back then. This game brings back memories from elementary i used to play this when we would go to the computer lab👍🏼 i miss this game tbh made alot of us happy back then hope kids still play this

Little Dissapointing.. The game is ok, it does not have the same visuals or the same noises which already takes away all the charm it had, it is kind of boring because there is no hard mode, not really worth the 1.99

Nostalgic, but not worth $1.99. I absolutely adored this game when it was one of the few game options of the time, among solitaire and minefield. For years I’ve yearned for another chance to play the cake game, hear the sound effects and see the flying clovers… I was so excited to think I could finally relive those fond memories, however, this recreation hasn’t met my expectations, whatsoever. At first I thought $1.99 was a modest price for the revival of the Purble Place I remember, but this game simply isn’t it. Although most of the visuals are wonderful, I feel a lot more effort could have been put into the actual gameplay. I’ve never purchased a game from the App Store before, but I really got my hopes up. I don’t understand why or how this game could be worth the two dollars.

I finally found it!. I used to play this game as a child on my grandmother’s computer and loved it! Recently I saw an ad that was similar to this game and it brought back memories. So I started looking for this game but I couldn’t remember the name. But I’ve finally found it and it’s just how I remember it! I’ve had so much fun playing this again, it’s just amazing!!!

Not like Windows Classic Game and Glitches. Ever so often the entire game board shrinks and the squares overlap each and the only way to get it back to normal is back out and get back in and (most of the time), this starts a new game. Annoying and useless. Definitely not like the original, which would be okay (sort of), if it didn’t glitch.

Not the same.. It was purple place lite. They have 3 places (the bakery, school, and shop) none of the other old games. :(

Nostalgia. Anyone who doesn’t give this 5 stars doesn’t know how amazing this game was on windows Vista. This game was my childhood when home computers were becoming common

Very nostalgic. My inner 3rd grade self would have been so happy now that I’m 23 I don’t care about the price I’m loving it very nostalgic.

Good game, kinda boring. This was my favorite out of the 3 purble place games when I was a kid and they did a great job re-creating it. But it’s missing something that makes the game harder and less boring. On purble place, as you’re playing through medium and hard levels it drops place mats you have to build on before you finish a cake and you can’t ignore them or it counts as a wrong cake order. On this game it only gives you another place mat when you finish a cake order. It made it too easy even when playing on hard mode. As it stands it doesn’t give enough of a challenge for me. I know the game is geared for kids and not 20 year olds but considering that this is a remake of a game from my generation I think there should be levels geared towards adults too.

SICK AND TWISTED. the game isn't even a game, its just tap tap tap, there's ur nostalgia now gimme my money. its a money grab that's a direct copy of a game from my childhood. they did the bare minimum and nothing more. because once they get their $2 they don't care about whose fond memories they're taking advantage of. they just want their measly profit from the occasional kid whose mourning their youth.

Just don't, save the 2 dollars. This is a soulless attempt at replicating something that was great. The updated graphics ruin it, the dolls don't register moves half the time. You only get to make one tier cakes on a belt that needs to be moved manually. It's not even close to the original or even fun for that matter. It's just a soulless cash grab at nostalgia.

Nostalgic but underwhelming. I had to download Purple Place to relive my childhood again when I used to play it on my family's upstairs computer. It only has 3 game modes and I got bored fairly quickly. Turns out it's not the game I miss, it's the life I once had. I will still give it 5 stars beacuse I technically already reviewed it when I was a child and should've known what to expect.

Bringing back the old times. I used to always play this on my computer when I was younger this was my altimeter favorite

Needs to be updated more often. I feel like the game needs to be updated. There is no challenges to the game as a result of winning a level

Nostalgia & Childhood. I remember playing this game for what seemed like forever, This game was the best that and watching Rugrats But This Brings back childhood memories when I used to play it on computer and even when I grew up I remember searching for it and Not finding it till now thanks For the memories :)

Purple place!!. This game is just like the factory game in purple place I use to play on the computer as a kid! Thank u so much for making it into an app I can play! If only the other 2 purple place games were made into apps that would be amazing. My inner child is so happy😂

Essentially Same As Original. Just as fun as the original. Yeah, the graphics are different (slightly), but come on, guys! This game is OVER A DECADE newer than the original, so OF COURSE it’s going to look a little different!

great for nostalgia but …. this game is amazing !! i got it to relive my childhood and its pretty much spot on however my game had a couple glitches that made it hard … the dress up game none of my choices would register , it would never show certain features and for thr cake game sometimes it would register touches i didnt make

i’m sorry, it’s just not right…. I don’t even know how to begin, but something feels so wrong about this. it plays nothing like the peeble place i played as a child. i don’t understand why fully, but it’s just not right. something is off about this game. i’m sorry to the devs

I loved this game. When I first found out about it (4 yrs old) i played it i had tooo much fun but then I lost it when I was 7 but I just found it and now I’m 10 im still having fun thank you purble place!

They changed it!!. I remember playing this on my mom's old computer but now it does not have different locations and It just isn't the same. But this definitely brings back memories. This and a Spongebob game was my childhood 🤩🤩

MY CHILDHOOD HAS BEEN RESTORED. I didn’t even know I had this game at some point (phone) but I remember playing this on my grandma’s computer. 10/10 game, even for people in adulthood.

Iconic. I loved this game way back then <3 just that it’s pretty boring there’s barely anything to do. Otherwise great game.

Walk of Nostalgia. Definitely made me relive my childhood, but it’s not like I remember. The original had levels and even the sounds are different on a few things.

Good game. This is a really good game and fun to play I just wish it had some music in the background that would make it a lot more entertaining. Overall solid game.

Memory Lane. So glad I got to revisit my childhood through this copy! It's definetly a copy paste of the original but unfortunately it's not as challenging and fun as it used to be.. The original purble place had levels and got harder as you went on but this one just repeats itself. Still so comforting and nostalgic!

not the same. not at all the same. okay fine its pretty similar but the art style is too new, the games are just a step or two off, and it just isnt what i played 15 odd years ago. i know im being harsh but it breaks my heart a little. if you just want a game thats sort of purble place then buy this but for my two silly dollars i was hoping for a slightly more faithful replication and should have stared at the pics longer. however. im sure the developer isnt the guy who owns purble place technically and they probbos had to change it. i jsut cant. its not the same

Not what you think. It’s not what you think but it is what you think it was, it’s those games but they aren’t the same and don’t play out as they did when you played it before, the idea is there but the execution isn’t the best.

I found a replica. I am really sad they do not have the game purble place anymore but here is a replica of the game I remember playing this when I was 3 on my great aunts computer and recently she has passed away and purble place was her favorite game and mine too but this game is great but it’s just not the same.

Glitch. I’ve paid for this purple place onto iPad where cakes on hardest level don’t deliver (multiple cakes) along the conveyor belt as mention it should which did when Win 7 was around. (Exception) Now for my own added tip for those very odd few who are limited on seeing hardly any (colour blindness) like me to cake colour recognition for iPad go to settings > Accessibility > Display > Colour filtering for such blindness.
