Disappointed in Tile Size. You advertise for seniors with larger tiles … but this is untrue. In some games, tiles are quite small and only when less tiles do they then get larger. I have played other similar games where tiles are larger than these without them advertising larger tiles for seniors. Can you increase tile size please? As per your response, there is a screen resolution problem. I sent your customer service screenshots. The tiles start small at beginning of game, but increase in resolution size as tiles from game are removed. Some games start off with extremely small tiles. Somehow your programming does not compensate for screen size. I have two iPads, a regular and a pro … neither get correct resolution. Also your arrow key on top after a game does not work. Screen is stuck and only way to get back to main screen is to exit app and return.

Not for seniors!!!. This game is definitely not for seniors since instead of it being relaxing, it can be terribly annoying & irritating which is not at all good for seniors. Ads get stuck, especially after you’ve played 10 games and are about to collect additional hints or shuffles!!! All of a sudden the ad freezes & there is no way to collect ANYTHING as the only way out of this is to turn your phone off & then turn it back on again. It’s not like I need the extra hints & shuffles because I have reached a point where I have over 100 of each, as I have not needed that many hints & shuffles to get to level 680 but it is the principle of the matter. I have no idea how many hints & shuffles I have earned but have missed out on because when I get to the point where I am about to collect my “reward” it invariably goes to an ad that will freeze & will stay frozen until I turn my phone off & then turn it back on again. So NO this is not a relaxing game for seniors but one that will definitely raise your blood pressure because of all the glitches you have to deal with.

Love this game… but. I enjoy playing this game but I’ve got a question. What are the three symbols at the bottom when you actually playing the game. I know what the first one is the shuffle, and I’m wondering why you don’t give a free one after you win some many games. It would make the game more interesting. What are the other two symbols mean or do. I have a bunch of lightbulbs, but don’t have any idea of how. Why isn’t this info somewhere on the app.

Love it but disappointed. I agree with the post prior to mine. I signed up for mah-jongg with no ads and if you take the least a little bit of time on the game an ad for another game pops up. It’s painful to go through dancing bears trying to escape water. Those games could be solved by a four year old. It’s totally annoying so I’ve signed up for two mah-jongg‘s and I toggle back-and-forth between the two of them which is annoying. I would even pay to have no ads and there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that. I’m getting really good at it, so I’m disappointed that I can’t train my brain.

Steals Information & Preys on Seniors. My mother-in-law asked me to get rid of several predatory apps from her phone that were charging her multiple monthly inscriptions. When she showed me what was happening, it was pop up ads in this app that said her iPhone protection was out of date and she needed to download the sponsored app. The game doesn’t let you continue until you agree to download the app. Stay far away and tell your senior relatives about this scam. The app’s description clearly shows the private information you have to grant access to when downloading. The developer is also out of Singapore and is not following either The CCPA or GDPA privacy standards.

Borderline false advertisement. I downloaded this game just so I could leave this review. I had this ad for this game on another game and in big bold letters it said NO ANNOYING ADS!!. But when you tap it to go to the Game Center to download, it says right in the info that if you want to remove the annoying ads it will be $5.99. This is seriously borderline false advertisement and you know it. Advertising “no annoying ads” used to mean there really wasn’t any ads. The rules have really changed where game developers do not have to be upfront and their advertisement that you will pay money to remove the ads. Now that I’m done with his review I will delete your game. Goodbye.

I really enjoy the game!. I really enjoy it specially the not ads. In the last month I had deleted multiple games because of the no stop adds. One of them they had ads every level of the game, then you had 3 mistakes you loose a live of you had to hear 2 adds back to back. The insane part on of the ads was about the same kind of game you are already playing or the same game from the competition.

Doesn’t play by the original rules. I downloaded this version of the game, and it wasn’t to long into playing it, that I realized that something was different. It was not playing right. I could pick pieces from anywhere in the top. They were all open for play. That’s not right. The only pieces that are supposed to be open, are on the right and left of the board, that are on an edge, and not covered by another piece. This makes the game way to easy to play. I think I’ll stay with the other morjong game I have. Even if it’s harder for me to look over the tiles. It’s more challenging to play.

Love the Game But…disappointed in “no advertising”. After finally figuring out how to play the game, I found the option for no ads. I paid it. It’s a lie so be careful. You don’t get ads in your first round, but when you win a game and if you want double they stick you with the ads and it stinks. I’m about ready to quit because it’s a waste of my time and energy and I really think that I’ve been lied to after paying money for no advertising. They really need to be clear that you won’t get as much advertising but when you start winning games if you want double points you have to sit there and sit there and sit there and sit there and it’s a total waste of time, so beware. It’s fun to play, but they’re going to mess with your head and continue to send ads.

Vita Mahjong for seniors.. I downloaded this app because it challenges you. Well I played it for three weeks and very much enjoyed it. Then one evening it kept stalling and wouldn’t let me play. Then last night after playing 2000 games I put it down for a break and went back the next day and it wouldn’t load at all. I had collected over 384 points for replays and 800 tips and couldn’t play the game. Every time I went to play it wouldn’t load. Then I deleted game to start over and now I am back to square one. Not fun anymore and now I can’t even download the game. Just wanted to make you aware that there must still be bugs after 2000 games. I’m 80 years old and loved this game to keep my brain focusing. Now I can’t even do that.

Ads freeze. I really enjoy playing this game but there is a problem with one of your ads. Solitaire cash that starts out “somewhere in Burbank” freezes at the end and nothing will get rid of it. I’ve experienced this twice. First time I deleted and reloaded your app but I don’t want to do that again. Can you do something about this please? I am writing yet again about the solitaire cash as that starts out showing a man in a pink shirt interviewing people on the street in Burbank. It still freezes at the end and I’m really fed up with it. Please fix. You basically need to dump all the solitaire cash ads. They all freeze at the end and won’t let you exit.

Commercials Ruin an Otherwise Terrific App. I’d EASILY give this five stars but for the annoying ads. I dished out $6 thinking I could get hints and reshuffling for free. No such luck. I loathe commercials. I just learned how to play and it’s easy. The game is very nicely designed. The cards are large. I’d look into ALL the games for seniors from this company if not for the endless ads. That’s why I have Apple 🍏 Arcade. I assure you I am not going to be getting ANY of the games advertised. This is a fun app which is great brain food. But please do something about the ads. I’d pay more to ABSOLUTELY get rid of them. I’m hooked but I can’t stand it!

I like this game but…. UPDATE below. I originally gave it five stars. Now that I’ve had more time to play it I see what one reviewer was talking about. In of the reviews someone had mentioned about the game gets stuck. You can have an open card right in the middle and it will not move and you can’t pick it up. It’s just stuck. I’ve tried everything. I’ve changed the format. I’ve changed everything and I’m about ready to give up. I don’t know what’s causing it to lock up in the middle when the tile is completely open and there’s one on the end you can pick it up and it won’t let me. I really like this game, but I would like to see a running total of my scores. I can’t see if I’m improving. I would like to see other players scores as to how I’m doing. ————- Needs to have a way to see each of my scores to see if I am improving etc. something that shows the breakdown of scores. As for the trophy is that after finishing a month? How do I get it? Assume at the end of each month. I also think it would be neat to see others scores to compete with. Im 72. I like this game. But I would like to see a list of my scores or something, even if to only try to beat my own score

False Advertising. The app ad says there are on ad yet after playing several levels there is an ad. This is false advertising to get people to download the app. I don’t approve of this kind of advertising. I don’t care if you need ads for revenue, if the ad says that the app is ad free then it should be ad free no matter what. If it isn’t and there are ads it should be specified in the ad otherwise it is false advertising plain and clear. This is how a lot of your ads are and I get tired of trying to close the ad and it sends me either to the internet of to the app site and won’t close. I think if you had to deal with it all the time you would be annoyed or angry by not being able to close the ad.

Pay for no ads and ads are every few minutes!. I paid for no ads and whenever you need a shuffle of the tiles in order to continue with the game you have to watch ads lasting minutes to get one shuffle. The game is structured where you must watch ads for other games every few minutes or so. It is a violation of paying for no ads policies. The game, if it worked right, is very satisfying but maddening due to ads! Find another Mahjong game for real satisfaction.

MATCHING GAME. This tile matching game is great fun! I just began playing it today, & have a feeling I'll be playing it for some time. It's one of those games that keep me playing for at least an hour. I usually end up playing alot of these games for a short amount of time. But this tile matching game is an exception to my normal game-playing habits. I also appreciate that there's no timer. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to be timed with every round of a game. I recommend this great game! Give it a try.

Favorite Mahjong. Update Aug 2024: Changing from 5 to 4 stars. I don’t like the new update. It was a great relaxing game and I even paid to remove the ads. This new update has added “hard” levels that are way too hard and I am no dummy. Plus, I’m not a senior. I liked the relaxation it used to provide with enough challenge to push me. If this stays, I might not. Previous: I love this game. It has as many ads as any other plus the option to pay to remove them. Don’t know why people complain. The new upgrades are great. They keep making it better. There are such fun incentives to play that I get on daily. I love collecting pins. Wish there were more tile choices but whatever. Love that it’s a no-pressure game. I need that so badly right now. Keep it up, developers!

The Ads are horrible. One game=one or two ads.. Not only are the ads intrusive, but one of them freezes. So you play ten levels to earn the shuffles etc. if the ad freezes, you lose what you earned. Happened twice tonight. Same stupid ad. Talk about boring…same ads over and over and over. And the challenges. You match four gold tiles, computer adds four. You match four more gold tiles, computer adds two. If there are rules explaining this, I don’t see them. I’m about done. Now make that three times the ads froze so I could be robbed of threwards I worked for. Only happens on the 10th round where rewards are collected. Cheat! I’m done.

Good, but not great. I downloaded this game from an ad. The ad was a bit misleading, as it said there weren’t ads and internet connection is not required. That’s not correct- there are ads and you have an option to pay $6 to remove ads permanently. I like the gameplay, but it gives you a limited number of shuffles without paying when there aren’t any moves available; that feels cheap to me, but I understand app developers need to make money. I also like that there isn’t a timer, as it gives it more a peaceful and relaxing vibe. I just wish I was given what I was promised- a game without ads.

The **** AI ads!!!!. UPDATE: seniors, and anyone downloading. The game is fun. But the Kelly Clarkson (or any Shark tank people) are FAKE. They will run pretty much after every game. Please save ur money and don’t order from here) I love puzzle games, and this seemed really fun- for a while. It’s like they wait a bit til you’ve been playing a lot then its one AI ad after another, and even when you click to move on it doesn’t, it will take you to the ad then back and you have to click multiple times. And its the same bad ads with voices not matching the lips etc. I get it, its a free game, but UGH. DO NOT BELIEVE that’s there’s no ads- it’s filled with false ads

Fun buuut.... The first time I played this game there were barely any ads. From the second time on, the ads are nonstop, popping up after each level and honestly taking longer to watch than to complete a level. So I checked out the "no ads" option. It says it's a one-time fee of $5.99 yet it also says it renews before the next "period." It doesn't say how long a"period" is -a month? a year? Now why would I sign myself up for an auto-renew situation having no idea what I'm signing up for? Unfortunately, I can't trust the ability to cancel the auto-renew since many, many developers make it impossible to do so either by using cryptic procedures, failing to reply to customers, and/or displaying error messages that it can't be completed at this time. The fact that I can't find info on the auto-renew time frame makes me think this is one of the shady apps. I play these games when I need to relax or to calm my anxiety. Neither watching endless ads nor spending significant time to find out how this "subscription" works (or how to cancel it) is definitely not my idea of relaxation. Sadly, it may come down to deleting the app. Other than that, I really enjoyed this game!

Great game, fraudulent ads. Played over 160 games plus daily. Really enjoyed it until yesterday. My daughter uses it from time to time. My bank account showed two charges that I didn’t know and asked the daughter She said she had won a valuable item. All she had to do was pay for shipping. Seemed reasonable if true. However this was one of the two charges. The second charge was for over $60 dollars From the same place. Had my bank cancel the charges and open a dispute with the vendor. Bank says can take up to 90 days for resolution. May not even be solved and I’m out over $70 . I tried contacting the game support and was directed to send information about this add to them. This got a failed to send. Never did reach a human. If able to give 0 stars I would have.

To many interruptions. I like playing this game but I don’t like Only being able to play a couple of levels before my playing streak is interrupted with a pitch to download another game. If I say no it continues to push that game. I might want to play it later but let me enjoy the one I am currently playing All of your free games do this and I don’t like it. I would much rather pay a small amount and know I can play whenever I want without all these interruptions. Same goes for updates.

Not bad.. It's not bad, fun to play. However, it's awful glitchy... especially with the ads. They pop up after every level, they freeze, trying to close them takes a few taps on different "X"s and whatever the ad is for it keeps trying to open the App Store. Bit annoying. After 5-10 levels the slowdown, freezing, and glitchiness extends into the game with tiles hanging up. Have to close out and restart. If those issues were taken care of it'd be a whole lot better and I wouldn't even mind dealing with a 15 second ad after every level but as it is it takes up to a minute to get the ad off the screen so it gets 3 stars.

Doctor ads are misleading. The game itself is fine (to learn the basics of mahjong), but the ads for it are really misleading. I’m personally not tricked by the the poorly created AI “Doctors” that the ads have, promoting the game, but there may be some people who are. I wanted THEM to know that just because someone is dressed like a doctor doesn’t make them a doctor; download the game if you’ll have fun playing it, but definitely not because a fake doctor in the ad told you to. Mahjong MAY be good for your brain like any memory game, but finding a COMMUNITY to play it with will help the most. :)

All about ads. The ads are too frequent and way too long. There is also no way to tailor the ads to oneself. Example: I find gambling to be unethical, but there is no way to opt out of gambling ads. I would happily pay for a no ad version but the description of the no ad version states it is $ 5.95 for life but also states you can opt out of the subscription at the end of the subscription period. Obviously, one can’t opt out after their life has ended, hence the subscription period is not “lifetime”. Fun game, but sketchy marketing. I will search for a legitimate Mah Jong app with ad tailoring and no ad version with clearly defined terms.

Deceptive ads; gullible consumer. This is the second time I’ve been suckered into downloading a game because the ad for it said “no annoying ads.” I should have known better! Apparently, by adding the word “annoying” they are absolved of all legal responsibility and can still feature ads in their game because to their thinking, their ads are charming and entertaining. This actually IS a relaxing and enjoyable game but I’m deleting it because I’m sick of companies who feel the need to dupe their customers, and I’m also tired of watching an ad after every single game.

Why the low rating?. I was enjoying this game for the past week. I stopped because of the ads. I don't think it is fair to target Seniors with promises of "no ads" or "no purchases." One particular ad I am concerned about is the ad that's aimed at avid players who reach high scores. It dangles the prize of a $1000 transfer to the player at no cost to them. The information is very cloudy and as clear as mud how it works. Your web professes to have Seniors, like myself, best interest at heart. It appears that is not the case. I consider myself computer literate but what about those Senior who aren't? This particular ad was well thought out to catch the Senior gamer off guard. Perhaps you should have checked the webs intention. Sorry to say that because of this particular ad, I have given the game an extremly low rate and deleted this game. It really is true!. There aren't many games that match their own descriptions; in fact I really believe the descriptions are written just so people will download whatever is being described! But this one really is true. If you want something calming then this game is for you. If you want something to mildly challenge your memory this game is for you! Whatever was said is true. So go download it. What have you got to lose?! Enjoy!

Game okey, have to find another that works right!. I understand they show you the ads, in order to give you the game for free. I understand the ads want to keep there message on screen as long as possible. But does anybody pay attention to the actual ads? Many of these ads do not go away. No X button comes up, many times you must close out the game to escape. Often when you log back in the ad is still there. This is like those cheesy websites that when you try to back up or escape they redirect you to another cheesy site. For something directed toward seniors these guys don’t care about their users.

Don’t Be Fooled!. I downloaded this game a bit ago and decided tonight to play it. It was going great and I was really enjoying my experience. The next next thing you know the “rate us” came up. Well for the few minutes I had played was great so I gave it 5 stars. I no sooner did this then here came the commercials! And they didn’t come at like every 10 or 15 games, oh no way. They got their perfect rating, now they took the mask off! SUCKER!!! Sorry folks, Seniors are smarter than you give us credit for! After EVERY SINGLE LEVEL you get the pleasure of sitting through commercials. Look, if you enjoy commercials, download with my blessing. I don’t, so bye Vita Mahjong, DELETE. I’ll find a Mahjong game that doesn’t value commercials more than the players!

Like Game, Hate Being Called Senior. So far I’m enjoying the matching tiles. But I do have a bit of a problem with being designated a “Senior Citizen” in front of the whole world. I’m not a little old lady with white curly hair, sneakers and a cane. OK I am 70 but I have long dark hair, violet eyes, outfits to die for and a wicked look in my eyes. I haven’t started to lose my memory or cognitive function yet but I feel that anything that can help sharpen my brain and reactions is a good idea no matter your age. I also have a feeling that this game could become boring down the road unless there’s some challenges ahead that I haven’t seen yet. I’ll update later after I check out what this game offers in the future.

Lies, Lies and more lies. This game was advertised as NO WIFI NEEDED AND NO ANNOYING ADS. That’s a big lie. At first there were no ads but after you complete a few levels then the ads start showing up after each level. I was ready to delete my other mahjong games. Glad I didn’t I think this is the one im going to delete. At least the other ones didn’t lie about not having ads when they do. I do understand that ads are what keeps the games free, after all it was through a ad that I saw this game. And I don’t mind watching a short ad. But your ad is very misleading the way it is worded. It gives the impression that the game has absolutely no ads. I think you should look into the way your ad is worded

Lots of fun!. Tiles are large and clearly marked and easy to see! No wifi or cellular data required to play and the app is free to download with no ads to interrupt your play! I love it! Update on initial review. I’m getting ready to uninstall the app because there are tons of ads. You have to watch an ad after every puzzle. Mu time is more valuable to me than to sit and wait on ads every couple of minutes. My rating is now a 2.5

Thank you for the Distraction!. I live in Florida and recently downloaded your application after Hurricane Helene passed through and right before Hurricane Milton hit us like a bombshell. I spent hours playing Mahjong and being very successful at it. I am a senior and my eyes tire easily. The Vita Mahjong tiles are beautiful and easy on the eyes. This application was a wonderful distraction for me during the long loud hurricane winds that shook all the windows in the house! During that night when Milton came bearing down on us, I climbed into a cozy spot in my bathtub. I am thankful that I had little damage AND for Vita Mahjong!

No ads? Nu-uh! Ads ads ads. I deleted my other mahjong because this one was advertised as “no ads”. Apparently after reading responses to other bad reviews, it doesn’t actually mean “no ads” it means it doesn’t interrupt a level but only between levels… Maybe that could be clearer…bc I wouldn’t have replaced my other mahjong with this one that doesn’t offer anything better than I had before. I get it. You need to make revenue. I have other games that do have ads. But they were up front about having ads. No surprises. No disappointment. I’ll be deleting this dishonest, shady game asap. See ya!

Too Many Adds. This game is fun and I enjoyed it at first, but new each round has adds and adds and adds, I understand the need for them however I went to pay the $5.99 and it doesn’t say how long the “NoAdd Subscription “ is for…SUBSCRIPTION????? I see others ask and are not given a clear response I gave the game 3 stars, would give it 5 stars if it was mad clear is this $5.99 a one time charge? How month is the Subscription? I think I’ll delete and find another Majong game where they make themselves clear about the cost and time limit, sadly this game is beautiful and very fun, but I can’t take the adds and not knowing how long this subscription is for..any answers…???

Deleted because of ads. The game itself is great. I enjoyed it while I had it. If you don’t mind ads or have the money to buy out of them, I would highly recommend this game. However, I deleted it after a few hours because of the ads. The ads were long, and back to back. Most ads let you skip after a few seconds but there was no clear way to do that. I understand companies need the ads and you can pay to remove them. But the ads on this game were way too long and $5.99 is too much for ad removal in my opinion.

So frustrating!. I enjoy the Mahjong game, but when I need to watch an obnoxious video repeatedly and then don’t get credit for it, I find it pretty annoying. Why do you have to make it so difficult to get back to the game? My daughter won’t even try the game because it is so hard to get back to it. Can you fix that or will it continue to be this way? Also, why does it buzz through so quickly that I can’t see the current scores? Please try to fix these problems, otherwise I may quit playing too. Thank you

Add. Game was fun but the further you get the more the ads kick in and sometimes they just keep playing and you can not move forward OR they just black out the screen and you have to clear out and start over. It’s super annoying. So I am going to my other game app cause you can just play, and not be bothered with ads during the game or to move to the next level. If they fixed that I would play again but the point of a game is mindless fun. It’s not fun watching the solitaire gambling game ad over and over and over and over.

Ads to reshuffle occur virtually every game. I too liked this game at first. I won every game. I did not like the ads that were constantly interrupting play so I purchased the “no ads” add on. It can be called a scam because every game since then has required a reshuffle due to there being no more moves. In order to reshuffle you must stop playing and watch an ad. Purchasing “no ads” does not eliminate the need to watch ads to reshuffle. I find that misleading since I found nothing disclosing that fact when I purchased it. Now I feel like I have been scammed by a game that induced me to purchase a worthless add on. Don’t fall for the misleading “no ads” add on. The game will always require a reshuffle, that requires you to watch ads, or you must start over and go through the same sequence of events making no progress forward.

SCAM GAME. This game tries to get you to pay to remove Ads by slowly making the Ads a problem. After playing for about 2 weeks the games Ads started glitching and freezing. After each play they started to show Ads…then every Ad started to freeze the game causing me to reboot. This should be illegal! I will never pay to remove Ads…all this does is cause me to delete the App. Many online games use this tactic…but it’s usually only the scam games like this one. When it starts happening just delete the App…this will force these scammers to stop! I have no problem with games showing Ads because that’s how they make money but it is a problem when the Ads cause the game to crash…not what I consider fun! Again it’s a ploy to get players to keep paying to remove Ads.

Your App claims to be Ad free It Is Not!. I had this App before under a different name. Paid for Add free. It was never adjusted. I downloaded this App and got to play an entire day add free as advertised. Opened up the App again and Ads again! I don’t mind paying for Ads free if I actually get that. I didn’t receive it last time and doubt I will receive it this time. So I’m Deleting this App. Ads on this App are nothing but a nuisance. False Advertising by the way. THIS APP IS NOT AD FREE

Hijacked by adds!. This is a fun game and I’ve been playing it for some time now. However, there are a few issues—the first and foremost are the ads. I understand the need to have them, however sometimes they completely highjack the game. And now, a pop-up had will not give up the space back to the game. It claims to say that I am a champion and have won money. It forces you to a website that wants way too much personal information, which I will not give. There is no way to bypass this annoying ad and now use of the game is completely blocked. When this first happened, I deleted the game and started over by reinstalling it. However, now I’m back to the same interruption of this “you won” ad. It’s been holding the game hostage now for two days.

It doesn’t have to be just for Seniors. I struggle with brain issues since my accident a couple of years ago and sometimes cannot even put my words together and I’m 45 so this game doesn’t have to be aimed just at Seniors I haven’t played it as of yet but just wanted to make sure I clarify that sometimes others go through things and it’s not because of our age. Everyone has things that they go through I suffer extremely with ADD and Bipolar 2 disorder and at times make bad decisions and later realize I needed to be better at remembering and making decisions to benefit myself and my loved ones we need more PEOPLE WHO CARE NOT GAMES But if this helps someone then thank you for creating it because it shows that you as a developer care.

Game. It started out as a great game. The first day you download it, it is not-stop play. I played for hours without interruption. The second I quit playing this game is riddled with ads. And I mean ADS. It is no longer fun. I know there has to be money made. It advertises that it is ad-free. It is not. Player be warned. Follow-up I do like the game. I understand that the ads are for revenue. I’m all for that. Thanks for the response. I updated my review to 5 stars.

Vita Mahjong. 7/7/24 Just uninstalled Vita Mahjong. Couldn't take it anymore. The game stopped giving me my earned points before taking me to Kelly Clarkson weight loss ads and that totally gross toenail fungus Ad!! GOODBYE I am a puzzle player. Vita Mahjong was my favorite until today!! I loved the competition puzzles and usually win. I could deal with the endless ads until today!!! Once you play a game it would immediately add your points and I could see who was close to catching me. NOW...as soon as you complete one mahjong tile it goes straight to a long annoying AD!!! Once the Ad finishes I hit DONE and the X pops up and when I tap the X it NEVER removes the Ad!!! It either starts back over or I have to tap done and the X numerous times!! What has really bothered me today (7/5/24) are the Kelly Clarkson Ads!! After the Ad ends and I click done and the X it takes me to her freaking Facebook page!!! Really?!!! Why? I just want to play Vita Mahjong and NOT go to Kelly Clarkson Facebook page! I don't need to lose weight!! Fix it or I'll have to uninstall and say GOODBYE!!

I might be old but I’m not stupid. I really liked playing this game. But you are killing us making us watch ads that are to long! It is crazy! Just charge me more and quit with the long ads. First week you get one ad after each game second week you get two or they are so long you fall asleep trying to get back to the game! Really! Is it for seniors? You are not doing us any favors! you made this game with the larger fonts for seniors, but expect us to look at other apps that are not for seniors? That is because your so greedy, you have to ruin it! You are looking at ads double the time you are playing the game!!

They LIE about no ads!. So I’ll start off with this is a fun game. I downloaded it because the ads I saw after playing other games, said Vita Mahjong, has no ads whatsoever. So based on that statement I downloaded the game in the first night played about 40 games without a single ad. I went to the game the next day, Presto after every single round there is an ad.. so yes, Vita Mahjong lies about their being no ads you can disable the ads for $5.99 nowhere in there advertisements do they tell you this you only find it out when you go into the details. I’m tired of these companies lying about their games, having no ads. Both Apple and Google need to start removing these games from their stores for fraudulent advertising practices. do not I repeat do not download this game unless you want to be inundated with ads. If you think you’re going to be able to play this game without seeing ads, you are wrong they lie, and both Apple and Google stores are complicit in this scheme because they are allowing it to continue. They should terminate these games from their stores for fraudulent advertising practices.

Deleted Vita Mahjong. After 3 days of serious addiction to this game, I ended up deleting it for a couple of reasons. From day 1, I won the games at the end of the day . . . Really??? Are these competitors just created “people”? Second reason, each time I tried to use a reshuffle, the game would somehow disable internet access and keeps coming back urging me to go online. Only resetting my device would fix this, for a short time. Third reason, it was addictive and I found myself spending way too much time playing. Fourth reason: the ads are over the top. As another player noted, they just don’t go away; pressing X just seems to be encouraging them to stick around . . . And bring some other ads. I understand revenue, I understand that this game was free, but 2-3 minutes for an ad every time one finishes a board is over the top! Today, however, I missed the game (after 3 days, mind you . . . Talk about it being addictive!) and re-installed it. I have to re-earn all awards. Will limit my playtime and see how it goes. All in all, I clearly like the game!

Good game. This is a good game with no ads until you get to level 30 then there is an ad after every level. Falsely advertised game.

Great game spoiled by too many ads.. A fun game but some of the ads are so long that there is no point continuing. And one ad I just got asked me to update my solitaire game and went on for more than a minute. Spoiled the game completely.

Beware: This game is tedious and irritating. My wife has been playing this game and told me it was good. She had got up to about level 14. So, I downloaded it and started playing. Initially, I really enjoyed until I got to a certain level, around 30, where you have to go off and do other things to progress. I found all those levels, and I think there were at least 41, really tedious. Simple, I just deleted the app. I suspect many others will do so when they get to those higher levels. There are many other more enjoyable games than Vita Mahjong. I recommend against downloading this game.

Misleading Advertising. This game is advertised as having no ads however I have just been subjected to an appalling story line which I thought at first was part of the game but was in fact an ad with totally adult content!!!! Ad free???. Join up it said, no ads. Well the ads are so bad I can’t get back to my game. I enjoy the game but as I can’t play because the ads won’t let me, there’s not much point. I like the game but the ads are very annoying Fun Frenzy won’t close. I really like this game and it is addictive. However each time the ad for Fun Frenzy comes on it won’t close. It keeps going on and on. This is very frustrating! It spoils my enjoyment of the game. I have been unable to lose this add for a good hour. Update: Via Mahjong apologised for the problem and we’re fixing it, which they have done. This game is addictive and there are challenges I thoroughly recommend it. My app was just updated and every time I opened the app to play it went blank. I have had to close the app and re start it again. There are too many ads and now you have to wait for up to 30 seconds before you can close the ad then 5 seconds to close not to give feedback and a further few seconds before you can get back to the game. Falsely advertised. I enjoyed this game for the first few levels, I downloaded it because it said ‘no ads’, that may be true until you get to level 20, then there’s an ad every level… not good enough developer, be honest and get rid of the ads or change your wording

The advertisement i found it on said as such, i played the game for a good 10 minutes before my first ad, however now after every game i get one. Good game, but i only downloaded it with the idea of no ads and I'm very disappointed in the lie i was told.

Dumbing down. Really like this game but you have changed it. When there are no more moves and go to shuttle screen there is no option now to return to game and replace all the moves to try again. Found this to be a great challenge and very enjoyable. Now no longer have that option. Have to retry which sets a whole new game which has been made a lot easier. Restart no longer restarts the same game.. If you restart a game instead of shuffling, the same game does not come up. A different game comes up with the same game number.

Vita Mahjong. Loving the game, I’ll admit I did purchase ad free. Very relaxing game. Couple of questions, would be great to know what a full combo is and why when I finish an event and immediately start the next one, people are already at the top, how can they get a score that high in a matter of minutes, or am I put at the bottom of an event that has been going for a while

Too many ads. Enjoy the game but it runs out of matches too often and you are forced to start again. Also it was advertised as being as ad free which is false. There are way too many ads and they are becoming more and more frequent to the point that it’s becoming annoying and I feel like deleting the app.

Via Mahjong. Great game, but liked it much better without tiles lit up. Much more fun and challenging. If you must keep this feature, may we at least have option to turn it off. Also, please bring back the restart option. I much prefer another chance to solve it than the shuffle. Many seniors are sharp and prefer challenges.

Fun for one who plays weekly Mahjong with actual tiles.. I have been playing the actual board game with tiles for about 10 years. It is much different than this but I do enjoy the experience of being able to sit down and play this solitaire MahJongg game . It makes me think and use my brain in a different way with my skills. Match game. This is definitely a challenge at my age and I am 68 years old going on 69. I appreciate this game. It will help keep it active .. and our brains. Active at our age which is really a positive thing to do. It’s a fun game and it’s challenging and I love it. My reflects as important to me as well being able to reach an appoint right away is important but I love the game.

Fun game. It’s your typic majong game. Fun. But if you’re trying this particular one because their ads said it was ad free-> buyer beware they lied. You have to watch an ad after you win and also before you can start a new one. Other reviews said the ad-free payment didn’t even remove the ads so I didn’t bother trying

Too many ads. I made the mistake of downloading this game. There is nothing wrong with the game itself - in fact it is pretty good. The problem is that I immediately became inundated with ads for Vita apps in just about all the games I use, and Vita’s ads are uniformly ridiculously long. The Vita Solitaire ad alone clocks 70 seconds, and you can’t get out of it any sooner. If you want to avoid unreasonably long ads on all your devices, don’t download Vita apps.

Utterly Awesome. I’ve been doing similar games for years. Usually I do one game and move on to the next all day long. THIS GAME TRAPPED ME! I kept playing…I think I played it 5 or 6 games before I stopped to play something else. The ENTIRE time I was playing I kept thinking about this game. I’m back. I wonder if it’s going to hold the same magic. I certainly hope it does!!!

Mahjong ads. I have enjoyed playing this game. But unfortunately I have found that many of the ads are what I would describe as very close to scam material. Many are tailored to seniors, many of whom are naive and they could believe the rewards/ benefits that sre being offered are actually obtainable. Many of the ads use "free cash" as encouragement for these people to click on them and submit personal data. I believe the ads you offer should be set to a higher standard.

Fun and easy on the eyes.. I have played Mahjong for years, but the tiles were getting harder and harder to see with my old eyes. This is much easier to see. The only complaint that I have is that the boards are a lot smaller. I guess they have to be to make the tiles larger. I do enjoy the game, and this is fun to play for speed.

Cancel. You have a review on here that complains about not being able to cancel the automatic renewal for “no ads forever”. However your no ads forever is misleading bc it’s not no ads forever. You respond, but you very cleverly (or sneaky) because you are not able to scroll down and read the actual instructions. What’s that about? Beware, don’t use this App. Plus it doesn’t give you instructions on what certain icons mean and other problems. Very disappointing to say the least!

Deleted this game. I am on level 1000. It takes me about 30 seconds or less to pass the level and then you are hit with an ad. An ad which takes you 30 to 45 seconds. Then there is an ad in the middle of the level so I figure I’ve seen about 1100 ads, I don’t play this game to watch an ad and I’m sick and tired of your ads. I have not downloaded any of your ads and I don’t want to watch ads. There is no ballots maybe one ad every 10 levels but it’s way way too much. I’m deleting my game.

Noisy Ads Fake Quotes. Two things are terrifically annoying about this game. First, as the game loads inspirational quotes are posted on the screen. Problem is, they attribute the quotes to people who absolutely did NOT say those things. The second is that while you can turn the sound off on the game, it does not turn the sound off when ads play. So any chance of playing discreetly is blown out of the water. These kind of low-pro things make me suspicious of the developer.

Notice of Marketing Strategies. Hi the game is entertaining, the ad from another game displayed a female portraying to be a neuroscientist and speak on behalf of the benefits of playing this game (Mahjong) can lead to some consumers being misled. (Neuroscientist have no need for stethoscopes becuase they do not diagnose, treat or manage condition directly with a patient population) I get it’s props just wanted to share my thoughts. Cool game.

Too many Ads. I love the game but after you been on for a few weeks, you will get one ad after each game!! No joke. Every game you win, you will have to watch an ad before going to the next game. The ratio of games to ads is 1 to 1. That is a lot of ads to watch!! I don’t mind an ad once in a while but not after every game. Need to have less ads! False Advertising?. First off the game is fun, and challenging. However….The game says no ads. So you download the game. You play the game. Then ads pop up. You check the settings. Not Happy With The Prizestash Link. Your site took me to the site mentioned above and I can’t get back to the game! I don’t want to give my information for an improbable $2,000 Costco gift card. We know that will never happen and that site will have my information. I have to put up with ads. You shouldn’t put me in a situation that I don’t want to be in! No ads?. I'm a little disappointed. I downloaded this because yes, I am a senior and I prefer no ads. However after downloading the app, I am getting an ad after every other play. Not what I was looking for. Deleting the game today. I have since been contacted by the developer who completely overlooked my initial concern. This Game is ADVERTISED AS "NO ADS"! I understand having an ads. But the game is advertised incorrectly. I feel like that's misleading. That's why people are deleting the game after downloading it.

They Lie!. They advertise NO ADS there are ads! Not only are there ads but it’s their own ad. Even that’s OK but the ad is a lie! The “Ad” informs you that your program need an “Update”. LIE! The “Update”. Will install another of their games, a Solitaire game. The MOST annoying thing about the ad is that it doesn’t end. It lays on your game and the only way to get rid of it is to reboot your device. I’ve done it 3 times so far don’t know how much more I can take. The game itself is OK, that’s why I gave it two stars instead of one.

Game Progress Saving. Hello! I enjoy this game a lot! However I decided to delete it since it wasn't saving my progress on an account, I would like it better if you could add a signup tab to save the game progress on levels in case of switching devices and be able to log back in with my progress saved. Please consider adding this feature and I will have it re-installed! Thank you!

Paid Version is a JOKE You still get ADS for BONUSES. I’d gladly give this APP 5* but after paying for it I still have to watch 1-2 minutes (sometimes more) to get the bonuses I earned. The last several days i did not receive any bonuses after being in 1st place. Yes it’s trivial, but a nuisance when you pay to be rid if the junk ads. FWIW, sometimes you have to watch up to 2 minutes of lousy ads to get your bonuses. LOL. What a joke.

Loved the game. I have been playing this for a while and tonight I clicked on it and it acted like it would bring it up said VITA and went back to my page wouldn’t get the game up I tried several times and it didn’t work so I deleted and re added in App Store but it would not work. Hate the 2.8.0 update. Loved the app… until you took out the *very* important “X” on the no more moves box. I used the “X” all the time to remove the box and go back to change moves and replay tiles. Now I’m forced to restart the game! Worse, it’s a different game! I don’t like to use my shuffles. I like to go back steps to make changes. You’ve removed this function. Part of playing this game is to learn. And be challenged. Hard to do when you keep changing the board. Please bring back the old warning box with the X. Thank you.

Ad free? Nope!. There ads after every game! I got this because the ad for it says there are no annoying ads. I really liked this game but deleted it because I didn’t like that I was lured into downloading the game through deception. Just got a message from the developer. The excuse was there are no annoying pop- up ads. OK, then state that! MSG goes on to say that they need the revenue from ads, well then specify POP-UP ads. BTW, is anyone checking these ads for scams?

A lot of ads for a “no ads” game. “No ads” is a straight up lie, just as my 5-star review is a lie. There’s an ad before and after every single level. Aside from that, it’s mahjong. If you like mahjong, this is a mahjong game. A mahjong game with ads before and after every single level. Ad - mahjong - ad - ad - mahjong - ad, repeat.

Horrible game. I don’t know how this game is supposed to improve your memory or anything because all I did was frustrate the heck out of me there’s nothing relaxing about this for one thing or another thing after you get past level 11 there’s a minute long ads after every level after that, I made it up to level 13 before I forget it and deleted this game. Love it but hate being LIED to. I downloaded this app because it claimed to be “no ads and no wi-if needed”. I wanted it because I didn’t want to deal with the constant ads, the no wi-if was just an added bonus. Well, more lies from another app. It was ad free until after level 30, then the ads are constant. This game is fun but…. I really enjoy playing this game, but I am very frustrated by having to waste so much time with ads that come up after every single level. Play a game, get an ad. Wait. I can only make them go away by hard shutting down my iPad. A particularly bad one was the one where they were offering me money if I would just join the paid version. I did not want to but I tried leaving the game overnight and that ad was still there with no X. disappointing flaw but I just canceled the game.

Fake ad. The game is great and especially good for your brain. The problem is is they lie? it is not free of ads. They say oh doesn’t have a lot of annoying ads. But that’s a lie because every time you finish a game, you’ve got a watch a two minute commercial!

Great fun game I love the quotes. Only have played it a few days. If it continues to be this much fine I’m very happy I downloaded it. However I am cautiously optimistic wondering if it will remain the same in the next few weeks? For now it’s great! If you an be patient and get through the ads it is a great game to keep your mind sharp. At least for this senior. I finally accepted the ads and am enjoying the game.

Love it!!. Fascinating game! Have only played a few times years ago. It makes your brain work on steroids, and playing a decent game is very rewarding! I can tell after 15 minutes that I’m going to be obsessed with it. I’m now hoping that there’s not going to be a monthly charge to play. If so, I can’t play any more.

Problem. I was going along (and loving it.) passing level 200 and then all of a sudden it froze my iPad. I had to let the battery drain before I could use it again. Not sure if this is related to the newest update. I did delete it and will now try to load it again to see if the problem is fixed. That is why I’m writing only three stars for right now.

Freezing issues. I love that game and play it everyday for hours. The only problem I have is the fact that the game freeze my iPad. I have told them about the issue. Thought it was fixed until right now when it froze my tablet and I had to fight the tablet to shut it down. That is the reason I didn’t give five stars.

Best game ever for my age 70+. I almost won last night using my iPad but my power ran out and would not charge in time for me to finish so I downloaded the game on to my phone just now. But it looks like I have to start from the beginning again when will I choose my own avatar? Thankyou going in for surgery today hi good day Mr Sifuentes

Love it!. I have never played mahjong a day of my life but this made it so easy to play and it’s is pretty fun and never gets boring I can only play this game all day and not get bored so i really do recommend playing if ur looking for something easy, fun, mind expanding, and different this game is highly recommended!

Good game play. However, one of the things that caught my eye is this game would be ad free however once you get into the game about 10 levels then the ads kick in and they get more and more persistent until every time you finish a game an advertisement plays so that’s the main thing. I’m very disappointed in.

Fed up with ads. The game in itself isn’t bad but they have some excessive amount of ads. In particular there are some for other games that you can’t stop, ironically about games with no ads. I am taking this out of my apps. I understand that ads are critical to the developer but this app is worse than average in terms of the way they want you to look at the ad. There are equivalent options with less hassle than this.

Vita mahjong. Won’t let me continue with the game after I’ve hit level 30 because it wants me to upgrade with without playing on Wi-Fi. My tablet is only Wi-Fi available so I will not upgrade because it forces me to use data which I do not have the game was fun up until this point, but I don’t know what it is and I’m not going to do it so I only give it two stars because it’s forcing me to acceptdata and bills accepted with it so you know what if that’s your choice then I will find another game to play

WHY?. Love this game. One of the better ones. But why do u ruin a good game with sooo many ads. There is a ad after every set then when the X comes up to exit it goes to a fox ad hit the X again back to Kelly Clarkson. Do you really need a long ad after each set. Fix this or I’m deleting. A 15 or 30 second ad after each set is way to much. Why dose it take numerous and I do mean NUMEROUS hits to close the ads

Good for passing time and memory. Have recently downloaded this app just to pass time. Have realized it helps with memory and cognitive awareness. Obviously playing the free version as I don’t mind the ads. They seem to give me a bit of a break when I get too wrapped up in the game.

Cannot close out the ads!!. 3 stars due to not being able to close out the ads and continue my game have not seen where I can pay to eliminate those ads yet, but I will go back and look again. I am a senior and I am thinking that surely not all Mahjong games capture your board so that you are unable to play. I should be able to close these ads out after a few seconds. Marda M.

Forget it - ads freeze. I so enjoy this game. But I’ve installed and uninstalled it several times and ALWAYS the very lengthy multiscreen ads cause problems. There are too many between games, all of which are so very long with no way to close them. Even exiting the app and shutting off my device does not help because they are still present when I try to play again. These are the same ads that pop up in other games, but after the first presentation or two they become shorter. Not so here. Y’all have burnt my last nerve! I’m done.

KimmyE🐹. I was playing the other version l got … issue was they were difficult to make out without my glasses on … I did get new glasses but still was not happy. I saw this while searching thru to find something better for my eyes . This here is the one for me …. Sooo much easier , going up the size helps out immensely.

Medical Malpractice. Vita should hang its head in shame for advertising this game with fake doctors and an Alzheimer “patient” who was no older than perhaps 25. Clearly you have no appreciation whatsoever of the consequences of senior mental diseases on the victims and their families and instead exploit those diseases simply to make a buck. Tell you what. Submit your claims to a review by recognized experts in senior mental illness and if found correct, what a fantastic advertising opportunity that would give you. But until you do enough with the fake doctors and victims. It is wrong and demeans the very individuals your game supposedly helps.

Dangerous - this game is scamming players. Game makes a loud high pitched emergency beep sound tone at random at times while playing. At the bottom of the screen there is an advertisement which says the users antivirus is out of date and requires immediate update. If app developer would like a video i screen recorded this. This game is designed for seniors according to its description. And so far, the ads i have seem have all been targeting a certain population. I wouldnt be surprised if some day this app developer gets sued. Do not buy this game!

Too hard. I don’t like this game because the thing where it says blocked because left to right makes no sense because it doesn’t say which ones are locked, so I’m pressing all over the place trying to press the right one that is why this game is hard. But it is overall fun

Wonderful game; “Solitaire Cash” ads bug issue.. Could you please address the bug with the “Solitaire Cash” ads? I constantly have to restart the app, and when the ads appear for extra bonuses, I’m unable to claim them. This has happened multiple times, and it’s becoming quite frustrating. Thank you.
