Not actually what I thought. The game was advertised as trying to save king Richard from eminent failure and being wiped out, but it’s not that at all, it’s actually just another match three game and as you go further up the levels it gets harder.? Supposedly No daily bonus no incentive to come and play everyday but the one thing it was true in saying No Adds so I suppose that’s something.

Not like the advertised!. Yes, the game is fun but it is not like the advertisement where the king is more interactive and fun. The real app game is more boring like the normal puzzle crush candy game. Sometimes you stuck over and over again on a level without any push extra to go through it, so it makes us stop and play other games in between. I suggested to you, please not be misled by the advertisement the game will look like that (interactive) where originally it was not. To the company, please change your ad so it is not misleading. Thank you

Royal kingdom. The ads claim the game is absolutely free which like every other claim is absolute BS got to level 127 and I can’t continue on unless I actually spend real money on “in game purchases”. The fact that you need to go online to complete a purchase shows you do need Wi-Fi another lie. Obviously truth in advertising doesn’t count here.

Great game, but….. This is a very polished, fun game. However it’s not that different to the original Royal Match, so I’m struggling to see the point. Apart from the Kingdom and Dark levels, all the challenges are just rebadged from Royal Match. Fun, but nothing new.

Another fake game with false promises. All the ads show the king in tight spots trying to get out. That is what I expected when I downloaded Royal Kingdom. What I got was a load of completely different games that have nothing to do with rescuing the king from tight spots. Just another fake game. You people make me sick, luring people in with false promises and then not delivering.

Pretty good. The levels are not even the same as what you see in the ads and you need to turn off the wifi to get no ads in the app

Disappointed. Nothing like what is advertised, where are the games it shows on the ads, this is another bog standard match game. Game should be clear that what they advertise is part of mini games, if that is the case as I have not seen any as yet. Given one star as graphics are good and there are no ads but it’s like any other match game. Sorry to say I’ll be deleting :(

NO ADS …. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!. I specifically downloaded this app because every ad I saw for it said “No ads, ever”. I can hardly play this game because there is an ad at the end of almost every game. In fact, the ads seem to last longer than it takes to play the game. Oh, and it is nothing like the ads!

Don’t install. Like Royal Match, the ads ALWAYS lie and you CANNOT choose your own levels that save the king from snakes, lava pits, giant metal spikes, etc. etc. UNlike Royal Match, the graphics are bad and it (for some reason) isn’t as addictive. I LOVED Royal Match and played it for a very long time, but installed and deleted Royal Kingdom within a day. The ‘Dark King’s attacks’ aren’t like how they are advertised and just robots throwing ivy at you… which is weird and makes the game… darker, for lack of a better word. It made it WAY less charming than Royal Match, where the king is just getting himself stuck in ridiculous situations, not being attacked by weird ivy-throwing stone robot monster things. Do NOT recommend, PLEASE don’t install, it’s not worth your time.

Nothing like the ads. Nothing like the ads at all. Pretty much exactly the same as the original game with a few different features but same premise and challenges. The ads depict a game where you are helping the king to escape different things. This has not been the case at all. It is basically the same gameplay as the original game. I downloaded the game after seeing this in the ad as I thought it would be a new experience, however I was disappointed to find it to be an incredibly similar experience to the first game. Others in the in-game teams chat agree. Positives are that there are no ads and great graphics and it is a generally good game to play, it’s just shame that it was pretty pointless to download as it is nothing that new.

Yet another game with misleading ads. Were you hoping to play the game represented in the ads? Too bad. Yet another in a VERY long line of games that completely misrepresent themselves in the ads, with gameplay that is nothing like what you see in the ad. Apple, do something about this because it’s getting utterly ridiculous.

Great Companion Game to Royal Match!. If you love Royal Match, you’ll love this game just as much! The Dark and Kingdom levels add something different to the formula and the change of pace in the music for the hard and super hard levels is a nice touch 👌

Don’t purchase rewards. Annoying how it keeps you one move away from winning the level in the hope that you will purchase moves or aids to help you finish. The app controls a lot of your moves even to the point of changing what you’ve selected to match. Don’t make an in app,purchase whatever you do as then the game is steered strongly towards you making further purchases. It also isn’t as advertised truthfully as very little saving the king levels. In fact I haven’t seen any as advertised.

Boring. I had hoped that downloading this game it would illuminate it from ruining other games, advertising for this game was just so much and lasted for so long, the game it self is just another 3 match game to build a castle, not really helping the King to survive, you can’t choose a level, just build up through the games to earn potions for another part of the castle, exactly like the other Royal Kingdom game, sorry going to delete this game now

Getting hooked on another game. I’m obsessed with royal match and enjoying royal kingdom however not enjoying the dark kingdom battles with the bots and castles. I find this quite stressful and I feel this will get impossible to beat as the levels get harder. Hate the ivy and I feel rushed playing it. Not sure if I’ll continue. I like everything else

Fake Ads. Am really tired of being bombarded with ads which depict this game as something totally different to what it is. So dishonest to mislead people this way. The least you can do is make ads that show true and also produce the game we thought we were getting when we downloaded this game.

Prefer Royal Match over this. The game is exactly similar to Royal match but with this game you don’t get rewards like you do in Royal match. It’s like working overtime but not getting paid for it. Once you are stuck in a level, you don’t get extra moves even if you have played the level over 30 times. When you finish the level and you have power ups leftover (like the bomb, rocket or spinner or gummy ball) you don’t get coins for that like you do in Royal Match. But otherwise its exactly the same as Royal Match.

Best puzzle game I’ve ever played!!🧩. This game is very fun. This puzzle game has extremely good graphics with details. Never seen a better video game entry. At times hard it tests your brain. Even though at times failing, always give it another shot. You can join a team and talk & work with other digital players to complete tasks. I would recommend this game to any puzzle lovers Or people who just want to test there brain a bit I would give this…. 5 STARS!! ⭐️

Rubbish. Rubbish game, nothing like (never ending) ads. OK, simple question. If there are no ads, and the game is free, how do they make money? They make money by making the game impossible to play without buying advantages. If you haven’t tried this game yet, don’t bother! If you already have it installed, delete it and if you are given an option, call it out as a BS game!

Nothing like the ads!. If you look at the ads for this game you’d think it was like Royal Match, where you have to save a moronic king from the consequences of his idiotic actions, but fortunately it is nothing like that and is in fact a very enjoyable game.

Not like the ad. This game just like many others are not what the advertisement shows. The ad shows helping the king out it situations and matching coloured blocks but in reality that’s all what the game shows just matching blocks. Maybe once in a while you get the help the king out of situations but that rarely happens. Once in every like 40 levels. I don’t like false advertisement

Misleading advertising?. Good game considering it is free, however the advertising is not accurate. I am now at level 150 and have not seen any of the advertised mini-games. So if you are interested in playing those enticing advertised games, then maybe this game is not for you since the game is pretty standard matching game play.

Good game I guess. The adds lie as usual the more complicated puzzles are I expect dream scapes or whatever that I assume only occur ever so often. I barely started play I just thought a real review saying that might help someone most of game is a classic gem matching with world building the story behind the world is well developed and the animation is upgraded from most games including the royal match game that I know thus king comes from. I wish all these games stopped assuming i don’t know how to play a gem matching game and retracting the same stuff, i guess must aim at lowest skill not average or advanced players though.

Do not download. First I download the game and it takes up like 7 gigabytes second I try to go into the game and then it took me straight to the first level which was fine but then after I win that level it sends me straight back to my home screen and then I couldn’t get back in wish I could rate 0 stars also wish I never downloaded it

Only downside. Royal Kingdom & Royal Match in my book would be a rating of 5 stars except for the teams option. Not everyone can play these games every day and the team leaders take it on themselves to kick you out for missing a day.

False advertising. Game definitely does not play like it’s advertised, basically you beat puzzle games and build a city , nowhere can you select what puzzle you want to play and you definitely don’t save no king like advertised

Nothing like the ads. Once again, the game is nothing like the ads. No levels to save the king from fire, snake, rock fall, ect. SAME boring match gems puzzle game as any. Auto build, auto script, auto level order, you DON’T control ANYTHING but the puzzle play. Boring after level 10. Same as Royal Match, only positive is no ads. I’ve deleted after playing up to level 20. So mad at the ads. False advertising again!

Not as advertised. I downloaded this game expecting to play the games where you save the King but have not found any level that you do this. Is it only if you pay that you get that range of games?

Nothing like the Advertisement. You do not get to help any King in this game either. I have been playing the first version for a couple of years and I am on a high level but have only had a couple of times where I had to save the king. Yes there are no adds, yes you don’t have to have wifi but that is about all the truth there is in the advertisement.

Not what is advertised. All adverts show a different challenge to what the game actually is. Advertisement shows saving the King from a snake, drowning etc yet the actual game is nothing like that it is purely building a new kingdom. Where is the game you advertise!!! Not only this can’t even leave a review because every made up nick name is taken!!!!!

Kingdom levels are awful. This game is a fun variation on the original, except for the kingdom levels, which are terrible. Having 1 of these out of every 5 levels is really spoiling the game for me, I dread them every time they turn up, they are not what I am playing this game for. Get rid of them please!

SO GOOD. So when I got this game it was just so fun to play u can even build your own kingdom by solving puzzles you can even fight the dark kingdom…so have fun and enjoy royal kingdom and its better than royal match

Not like the ads. Agree with others the actual game play is nothing like the ads - same as the ads for the other game by these guys. I don’t know how they get away with this blatantly false advertising, seems to be endemic with these advertisements across a load of games.

False advertising. I don’t normally write reviews but someone has to post this bait and switch. Game looks nothing like what is advertised. Also, it will stop the game mid way and report no moves left but clearly that is not the case. Plenty of moves but it just wants you to redeem points to continue (that’s right .. just another money grab game). Deleted immediately.

To expensive. Same as royal match, great game if it didn’t cost as much as it does, to advance quickly get ready to spend way to much money. Disgusting ads. OK game but I can’t stand the ads…who wants to see someone with food coming out of their mouth or having an apoplectic fit? Also most ads don’t represent real game play.

Very Frustrating. Due to the fact that YOUR ADVERTISEMENT Pops up the minute we start some other game I am going to delete this app. It does not matter that I play Your game. I am still getting pop ups and have to wait for it to finish. It gets irritating and very frustrating. I have spoken to some of my friends as we and they will no longer play either. So Sad, especially when I see an announcement that say Play with no Afs. I finally get it. No ads during game play because you drive us crazy by popping up when playing another game. Really!!!!!

Not accurate ads. THE ADS ARE NOT ACCURATE at least not fully. The matching thing is accurate but the whole ‘save the king’ isn’t. You just play the levels to upgrade your kingdom. And then sometimes the levels are hard as all hell :/

Ads misleading. This is a new version of royal match. Not at all like the demos in the ads. Disappointed once again! The game is decent. I would have rated it 4 stars except it looks and behaves nothing like the ads. The demo in the ads looks great - why not create that? Royal merge. Terrible game. When not locking up my ipad , the games ads continue in an endless loop until it is restarted. The developers should be ashamed. This company should seriously be kicked out of the app store. SCAM SCAM SCAM !!! Do not download or purchase anything from these people. What did the developers do to this game?. After playing on the arena for weeks, the game gets an update with levels being released 50 at a time. Only this time the difficulty is ramped up to the point it’s not even worth playing.

I was really enjoying this game until…. I ran out of levels to play. I've been stuck in a side quest for a couple of weeks waiting for new levels. Others in my team have said they’ve been waiting over a month and a half. Don’t waist any money on this game. They seem to have abandoned it for their new game.

Ad allows no sound but can’t turn it off for next screen!. This so frustrating. It’s not always practical or polite to have sound on. Won’t download any app that is so out of touch.

I got to level 28 and all the screen shows is an arrow to make a purchase and no way to close it. The game is frozen on that page, thus no way to contact support. Very disappointing. I have enjoyed your other games and was enjoying starting this one. My only choice is to delete the app.

Disappointing. Hold on to your wallet because you will be spending the $1.99 just because you need one more move!!! Yes they tell you every level is beatable without spending money but it may take a day or even more in the mean time you loose everything coins special items and when or if you get the electro Ball the next level is usually just about impossible so you have to spend $1.99 or more to keep the ball !!! The game can be fun and relaxing but I’m sorry I find it now that I am over level 1000 very very frustrating!!! And just cause of anxiety!! So I just deleted the game and will never go back to it!!!

Don’t get fooled by the high marks!. Don’t be fooled by the advertising of this game. Right around lvl 300 they put sooo much junk in your way that regardless of how many boosts you have you only get one move. then you’ve used all your boosts and your still stuck without enough moves. Even if you save all your gold and boosts by the time you get to the difficult lvls your out. Sorta like a casino, the house all ways wins. By then even the “easy” lvls take 5-7 try’s to beat. Which means you’re only going to solve 10 a day maybe. Don’t think about buying more because then you’re back to the original problem. All these high ranking were done by people who just started playing rather then getting to the ridiculous levels.

Stuck On It. The graphics are honestly amazing. They’re very sharp and clean. The game itself has pretty decent objectives and it’s not exactly impossible to make it to the next level- which I absolutely hate games that are like that cause I just end up uninstalling it and forget about it. This one has a storyline too which is pretty cool. And it’s kind of like Homescapes etc. except you don’t have to sit there and pick which design is best. It’s prebuilt, you just gotta win the coins to make it. I enjoy this game a lot. Definitely worth the download!

T/S. Without spending money this game makes it next to impossible to win some levels . I enjoy no ads for sure and the different challenges but some like cube blast are boring and an old and rip off of Tetris. Also the kingdom pass is to long when completed to get your bonus prize waiting 14 days is ridiculous. It’s also not as enjoyable when you beat the levels and sit in a tournament arena until new levels are released. I really enjoyed the game in the beginning and don’t mind spending I little money . but I feel it is bait click to spend to much money now and makes it impossible to play all the challenges actively and that is unfair .

Really Like It - But some Changes Could be Made. Dear Creators of Royal Kingdom! I really like this game mostly because it is a simple game that doesn’t take much brain power, but also because there are NO ADDS! This is huge because most games have adds every game or even mid game… it’s insane. I like how the Kingdom levels are every 5 levels so you know what is coming. The kingdom levels are a fun feature to kind of give you a second cause to play the game! I also like how you get to build the world and see the whole thing after it’s done! It gives you sense of satisfaction for playing the game! However, some changes could be made! I think it would be cool if The Evil King got more and more frustrated as you beat the Kingdom Levels (maybe he celebrates if you loose). This would make it more exciting and engaging. I know there were some videos in the beginning introducing the evil king. I haven’t gotten very far in the game yet, but it would be cool if there were more story line videos through out the game. Not just for the evil king, but for everyone! There are way too many side quests and events to participate in. This problem alone is what makes it 4 stars. It would be much much much more enjoyable (5 star worthy) if there were less side things to be sucked in by. The quests crowd the screen and I tend to like games that are beatable. It gives you a sense of satisfaction when you finally beat something! Especially something as big as Royal Kingdom! If you are always being pulled aside to other things, then the game is never done and you never Win. Also when I’m looking at my kingdom that I worked hard to build, I don’t want all of the clutter on the screen. AMAZING GAME. I know from it’s “prequel”it has 0 ads at all! I tried it, and it’s exactly the same here! It may not be exactly like the ads, but still good enough. There are animations every now and then that help with LOOOOORE for those of you who are interested, and they put a lot of work into them. Voices and smooth animations. It is AWESOME. You also get a little mini-game every 5 levels, to beat the Dark King. The strategy that’s involved in those levels is way better than what it shows on the ads. This should really be like a 6/5 or something.

Pay to play/Zero strategy. Been playing for about 3 months now. When you start paying to play the game it is designed to get you to pay more and more and the more and more you play the more it becomes undeniable and pretty predictable to the point where I could predict, before even moving to the next level, that it would become unplayable. Once you get on a streak for a couple of days, without buying more credits, the game becomes unbeatable, for that purpose. I will argue that, that is reason there is very little strategy in this game as it gives the developers the freedom to manipulate the randomness in order to get players to waste money. I won’t be buying in the future in order to enjoy this game, so eventually will stop playing at all. What a shame.

SO ADDICTING!!!. My parents have had this game for YEARS and I never playing it, but like 5 days ago I decided to finally got it and I am already on level 110 there are the games you see on the ads, it’s apart of the levels, the only thing is that in the pearls of Atlantis I wish the like super mode or wtv it’s called had bigger number other than just 100 and 200 but that’s the only thing other than that nothing else is wrong with the game I have not been able to put the game down sense (my screen time avg has gone up A LOT sense I got the game) GET THIS GAME NOW!!!

It’s fun. It’s fun and I had an absolute blast playing it, until I got to the guys with a shields that flip every other turn. I know every time I get to a level that has them, that any streak rewards I have, I’m going to lose. When you’re in power up competition with other people you’re about to lose, because you’ll lose those power rewards and get stuck. On the turn they do open up they will close early and have your hit on them won’t matter. However when they are shielded they will stay up until your entire match hit points are gone. I recommend it, but you’ll hit this spot like I have and find grossly unfair.

Free to Download Only. I keep seeing the ad for this game & figured I’d download it. I did, it was fun at first. When you lose a round you can pay 900 coins (which you should have been given starting off) which is cool whatever. I used my 900 coins to revive myself & I think it only gave me 5 extra moves which was NOT going to make it possible to win. Then I bought 2000 coins for $1.99 - not too bad - 5 moves wasn’t enough - it said to revive 1900 coins! I was like that’s it, deleted app. I don’t know if me buying coins makes it charge you more & more as you go in coins to revive. I’m not addicted enough to keep spending. Yea, no ads - cool - but double charging & barely giving enough moves to complete the round, essentially forcing you to purchase coins with irl money or delete. Not cool. Can’t wait to skip their ads in my other games.

Houses?. I have played Royal Match and hesitated downloading this because I thought it was just the same with a younger king. I’m glad I gave it a try. Really enjoy it. I have two thoughts. I’m at level 620 and am developing the. Ice Castle. My question is where are the houses for the Kings subjects and workers? Love the art work and the interesting buildings and areas but no place for the people. Also, it would be nice to be able to pass on the battle scenes. Not a fan of them and would like to skip them sometimes. It seems like they are appearing more frequently. In Royal Match you have the option of skipping the Kings Nightmare. Why not here? Otherwise I’m enjoying the game.

Expensive. It’s an engaging game but you will reach points where if you don’t spend money, you will not move forward. The worst part of that is, admittedly, how easy it is to fall victim to being SO close to securing a full card collection or hitting a certain milestone that you might spend more than you’d like and still not get there. That’s how they make money and each time, those goal posts are moved just a little bit further out of range. It’s not worth it though. I won’t spend another dollar and still end up 3 cards short despite earning over 1000+ during that collection time and being on a winning group team that constantly to places first.

Suggestion. I love this game and have a fantastic, friendly team who are enthusiastic players. We all enjoy playing, though we all have a frustration - Gold Card Dupes! If we can’t share them - they are a hinderance, just taking up space. If we could use them for something of benefit to ourselves or our teammates, it would enrich the game experience for all. Please consider this, I would love to find when the arena ends and we update sometime in the near future - to find those gold card dupes aren’t just wasted efforts. Thanks for a fun game!

Fun, but I’ll probably delete the app. Too similar to Royal Match in that you earn a stupid number of coins for winning a game (usually less than 100), but then it costs 900 for five more lives. I played up to over level 8000 in Royal Match, but I won’t waste that much time on this game. You reach a point where it becomes insanely difficult to pass a level unless you’re willing to spend money. I went down that rabbit hole for very short while, but won’t do it again. Joining a team can be fun, but there’s pressure for everyone to play, which brings about the pressure to spend money to save your super light ball or earn more purple balls for the dragon game. I guess the developers have to get the money from somewhere to pay celebrities to advertise their game.

Nothing new. The positives: cool graphics & no ads. The negatives for this are: typical match 3 play, very repetitive, not like the ads - a very different game, and it’s a pay to win game. I don’t pay more and more money simply to get more lives and move up a level. While it is possible to win levels without paying, some labeled Super Difficult are very difficult to win without buying extra lives. This makes the game even more boring as the level must be replayed over and over and wait for the luck of the fall of the tiles to form enough power ups to be able to advance. The repetition of one level to pass is not based on skill rather luck in getting the tiles to drop correctly to form the much needed power ups. An easy game to put down and forget.

Classic bait and switch. Puzzles become so difficult as you increase levels that you run out of boosters and coins and you constantly are asked to buy lives and boosters so you do not lose several of your built up booster or pot progress. Really hard puzzles are solvable however without the boosters it takes a significant amount of new life sessions to beat the puzzle. It becomes boring. Another attempt to separate you from your money. Don’t fall for all the false commercials and ads. Gave it the old college try. As you approach level 300 you basically lose all your specials and boosters and it takes forever (like days) to beat levels without paying the ransoms they ask you to pay. Save your time and money. Like the title of this post states it’s a classic bait and switch. Don’t fall for all the false ads. I am erasing the game.

Not happy. I really liked this game but they don’t have new levels until Mondays. I bought a coins and was supposed to get 20 hours of a power up, but I when I went to play, I couldn’t because I had to wait for two days for new levels and I lost something I paid for. There is nothing worse than paying for something and not getting it. With the amount of money this developer makes, they should have no problem making levels available without users having to wait several days to play

Still lying to us, huh?. I really thought with all of the new graphics and upgraded features that this game has, and with all the pictures on the store page, when the ad said “No, really!! You actually save the king in this one!! This is the real game!!!” that maybe they would have learned their lesson and actually included levels that they show in the ad. But no. There are a few battle levels that are repetitive and have no challenge, but other than that, they’re still lying. The fact that they’re saying “no we really mean it this time!!” and still blatantly lying is heinous. Why have the devs gone out of their way to make these elaborate ads and fully rendered cutscenes in the game, but still lie??

Fun but redundant. At first, the game was fun to play. As you go through the levels, you realize you’re just playing the same game with different graphics on screen. And getting hung up in a level is annoying when you run out of points and you’re expected to either buy them or watch ads to be able to continue playing. I got to level 650 before I decided to delete the app. I also played the other version of this game and came to the same conclusion. Once it’s no longer fun I delete and move onto the next game usually with the same results. It’s a good way to waste time but it’s just that wasting time.

Fun and Royally Frustrating. Great colorful match 3, without annoying ads. Great dev team that creates a feeling of advancing in the game. The game loads fast and is Game-fully addicting. More luck that strategy with built-in tricks to pull your money: You advance quickly and enjoyably through a hundred levels. The game then reduces the matches available, requiring you to use earned special explosive are spinning disks to get through the harder levels. This often results in using all lives (hearts) and all gold coins that would extend and save the level. It is entertaining, but highly engineered to hook you enough to pay real money. The engineering is similar to Vegas-style slot machines. Be willing to walk away before throwing money at the solution.

MAJOR improvements as compared to its predecessor, Royal Kingdom.. The things that make this game better, in my opinion, than Royal Kingdom are: 1. The MAJOR lack of ads on my phone, which actually, believe it or not, is a crime majorly punishable by federal court in the invasion of privacy, 2. The same beautiful graphics and gameplay, and 3. Just the same amount of fun. However, I still do get the occasional ad or two or three which I will say makes me feel slightly uncomfortable in my phone telling me that my information is bring tracked, but I will say overall this game is a great, really fun improvement and free to play!

Not as advertised. I’ve been playing this game since April 2025 and it’s now July. There are absolutely NO mini games as advertised! It’s not like the other kingdom game that does have the mini games. (And a member in my group in the app says that he’s like in the thousands levels and has never seen a mini game like in the advertisements. 😡) But this one has instead is a version of beating the boss where you have to destroy Obstacles that are attacking your kingdom. It basically became nothing but a math three game that didn’t have anything exciting and the other original version of this game is much better than this spinoff. I even joined a group to try to get more out of the game but that was a total dad as well. I’m deleting the game as soon as I post this review.I’ll stick with the original kingdom game.

As a Programmer. This game while ok to play and is a decent time killer, it is programmed to give you bad matches. They do this to get you to buy. You will notice how it’s coded when you’re playing the game and matches you made won’t give you a power up. The battle pass for 9.99 is almost worthless to buy at higher levels because it requires you to beat levels. Games like candy crush are probably more fair in terms of level passing. If you’re looking for something to play here and there go for it. But the game is rigged purposely to get you to pay. Yes you can pass levels with out paying but be prepared to spend days until they give you the drops needed.

LOVE IT SOO MUCH ♥️❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥but I have some complaints. I love this game and I love the challenges that it has and how when there is a problem they make it movie like. I also like the animation. Just wanna say that this game is way better than royal match!!!The things I will complain about is that the way u have lives. You only have a limited amount of lives and I don’t really like that so the changes that I think should be made is the there is an unlimited amount of lives in the game so that people will have all the time they need to play and finish the level. Royal Kingdom Ads. I’ve been saying this for the longest time the day a game like this plays the ad right or let’s you do it yourself throughly would be the day I immediately download it and give it 5 stars. I never that day would actually come but I’m glad it did. I played it for a while and genuinely enjoyed the gameplay so much, this game really is so fun. it’s not like the other games similar to it at all, instead it’s better. To anyone looking for a satisfying game to kill time, I HIGHLY recommend downloading this one because it did not disappoint!

Cards. Let me start off by saying that I love this game. I started off by playing the brother game for about 2 years, so when I started this game I was a pro. It’s fun, and relaxing, and no adds!! No adds, no WiFi needed. It’s fun. Something I hated with the royal match game was the cards. They were time consuming and unnecessary and to me, annoying. I liked royal kingdom for lots reasons, but one of them was because there were no cards. I took a break for a few months and when I returned, what had they added but cards. I’m not too happy. It’s made it less enjoyable and I’ve grown more irritated when I see them. But other than that great game. Don’t let my personal opinions turn you off, because this game is fun.

This game was fun. Downloaded about 4 months ago and loved playing it. Got through all the levels and made it to the cup part a couple times. Seems lately that this game knows when you have items and coins, because the levels become almost unplayable. You’ll get your super ball back and then a level that you don’t get any items and not even 5 moves will help you get remotely close to clearing a level. If you enjoy sinking money constantly into a game, then you’ll love this game. The dungeon escape, boat race, and power rush are a farce. Not sure what their algorithm is on them, but it’s all garbage. I finally deleted the app for good after reinstalling it a couple times thinking it would be better. It’s worse. Spend 3-4 days working on 10 levels just to get your ball back, just to lose the ball and all your coins on the first level you play. My favorite stupid levels, are the ones where you need to collect a certain number of a colored gem, but the game doesn’t generate any of that color for the levels become almost and you spend all your moves for nothing.

Not as advertised. Why is no one mentioning the fact that every ad for this game shows the king in some survival scenario, but in reality the game is just a puzzle game?! I am on level 201 and have NEVER encountered a level even remotely like the scenarios in the ads with the king. Occasionally you encounter a level to defeat a “boss” of sorts but even that gets so old because it’s literally the same battle/level every single time. Stop advertising the game as a constant fight to save the king and show what the game ACTUALLY IS. It’s a puzzle/3-in-a row game with a picture of the king at the top looking happy or sad depending on if you win. The graphics and story are good but the ad is completely misleading and if you want to play a game where you actually play to save the main character, find another game because Royal Kingdom and Royal Match are not that game. Sad.

Quicker and more updates. Royal Kingdom is an incredibly engaging and addictive game that has captured my attention from the moment I started playing. As someone who has reached the higher levels, I’ve found myself stuck, waiting for more levels to be added. It’s been a week and a half since I maxed out, and the waiting game has dampened my enthusiasm. When you invest time and energy into progressing, it’s frustrating to be halted by a lack of new content. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this with Royal Kingdom. The developers often release updates, but they don’t come quickly enough to keep pace with dedicated players. It feels as though the game was released before it was fully ready, leaving players like me in a lurch while waiting for the next batch of levels. I genuinely love Royal Kingdom, and it’s a testament to how fun and well-designed the game is that I’m eager for more. However, I urge the developers to consider the player experience when planning updates. Releasing new levels more frequently or at least providing clear timelines for updates would greatly enhance the gaming experience. I want to continue my journey in the Royal Kingdom, but I can’t do that if the game leaves me hanging for weeks at a time. In summary, Royal Kingdom is a fantastic game that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and challenging experience. But for it to remain at the top of my list, the update schedule needs to improve. Please, developers, don’t keep us waiting—there’s a kingdom to build, and we’re eager to play!

Fun. Until it’s not.. This game started out very fun and entertaining, no ads and didnt have to spend any money in order to just get to the next level….until I got to level 90, the game’s algorithm must of noticed I never spent a dime and started making the levels impossible to pass without sacrificing hard earned bonuses that accumulated. I’ve spent about $15 in coins to get me “extra plays” that helped me finally beat the level. But the difficulty ramped even higher as if the game was trying to force me to buy more coins. I’m not falling down that rabbit hole. I’ll give it a couple more tries, after that I’m uninstalling. Thanks but no thanks.

Loving it!. The Story animations are so fun! I hope they keep it up. The power ups look cool too even if they function the same as Royal Match. Update…needs these updates: The game is challenging enough. Sometimes too much so. And I get they want to make money, but some game mechanics are not quite ‘unfair’ but rather—scammy. But I can put up with them because of the many bonus items you gain while playing. However! There are two features the game desperately needs: 1) Once you fail a level, you should be able to hit a ‘View Board’ button so you can see where you left off. This will help one decide if they wish to spend gold to give it another shot. 2) Once you have ‘5 Moves Remaining’ a notice should briefly appear on the screen to let you know. (I often am having so much fun with a level that I forget there’s a move limit). Incorporating these two mechanics will greatly improve the quality of life for the game and show players that you care about our entertainment and enjoyment of said game.

Whateva. Seems fun at first until you get good and won’t pay. I love when you get to a certain level and it refuses to let you win no matter what you do. Don’t even power up when this happens, just keep playing, “kill” your lives and shut down the game until it fills up your lives. Join a team and constantly ask for lives. Sometime the game lets you go on a winning streak…that’s a trap. Expect, even with all the tools in your wheelhouse, that the game won’t let you win. When you get to this point dont even try, just play until you’re out of lives and shut it down. Many times when you come back, many hours later, you’ll win right away. If this game frustrates you too much, move on, if you don’t you’ll loose your sanity.

Fun game but needs ui work and better support staff. Fun, but the UI sensitivity needs work. Bombs and other effects just go off when you touch them, sometimes you can’t play combos because of it and it ruins the experience. I’ve played over 7000 levels of the other Kingdom game and over 1000 of this one and have only had the issue on this game. The support folks blow you off and tell you it’s not happening or worse, blame you. It also sometimes doesn’t make the right item (bomb, orb, etc) or fails to see the play and makes nothing.

Time usage. I am currently working in Poland. I work as a defense contractor. Playing Royal Kingdom is not only fun, but helps time go by. Only issue is that it appears to be set up to have me buy additional coins/stuff to progress in the game. I do understand that the monies are needed to get the game up and running, but I am almost at the point of finding another time consuming game to play. I need one card to win a big bonus. I will see if I can get it in the next 6days.. if not I will rethink moving forward with the game. Again the game itself is awesome and very entertaining. Thanks

Royal Kingdom? More Like Royal Disappointment. Royal Kingdom has finally pushed me to that point. This game could have been fun—if the developers had even the slightest interest in actually improving it. First off: the glacial pace of new level releases. You beat the last available stage, and then what? You wait. And wait. And wait. Weeks go by with no update, no communication, nothing. It’s like they want you to lose interest. Spoiler: it’s working. Second: the gameplay is so mind-numbingly repetitive. Every level feels like a slightly tweaked version of the last, with zero real innovation. The only challenge left is trying to stay awake while playing. Progress is boring and unrewarding—you slog through levels just to hit another wall of “Play in our repetitive Arena…” Their support team might be the most infuriating part. Any issue you raise is met with the same robotic response: “Our system has no errors.” Oh, really? So when I was charged twice for one boost, that’s on me? They gaslight users into thinking the game is flawless while ignoring actual bugs. Bottom line: Royal Kingdom is a cash-grab wrapped in a lazy, stale game loop, run by a dev team that’s either checked out or just doesn’t care. Save your time—and your money. You’ve been warned.

Fun to play. The game is fun to play for all I think. I love the kingdom and Dark kingdom games the best! There is no save the King game like the ads show but these are even more fun in my opinion. I was playing Royal Match also and you would get them there but these are more fun. Blowing up all the different monsters is a fun challenge. The card collecting part is fun when you have a good team. Wish you could request more than one card a day and wish you could send the gold cards to teammates somehow but it is still fun collecting and trading. My team is awesome so that makes it more fun.

So far it’s a winner!. I’ve been looking for a new game to play and was downloading and then deleting game after game because they were either boring or had too many ads or tried to get you to buy something. This game seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I’m only a beginner to the game but the storyline, graphics, and gameplay are really fantastic. I love how the match game graphics are large and easy to see, I struggle seeing the smaller graphics of other games on my phones small screen. Kudos to the creators, they are incredibly creative and have made a fun game. Thanks!

Scam to make u pay for things.. Filled with buy this or lose out, buy this to continue, and algorithms to make sure you lose when attempting any sort of event. Take a level for example, they’ll give u 20 moves and just from seeing the visual obstacles ,it will take 3xs that in moves to remove, but that’s not counting the 2 hidden obstacles under the others like snow or eggs or something. And the auto target is the worse atrocity, there will be a whole section covered in breakables but the flying bomb will go for the single tile all by itself instead, wasting your power up move. GAMES LIKE THIS ARE PREDATORY AND TRY TO FORCE YOU INTO FAILING SO YOU HAVE TO PAY. THESE ARE MAGNITUDES WORSE THAN GAMBLING. AT LEAST WITH GAMBLING WE KNOW THE ODDS AND RULES, WHERE AS GAMES LIKE THIS HIDE IT SO YOU HAVE TO SPEND MONEY. JUST ANOTHER TRASH MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY. BOYCOTT THIS AND FORCE THEM TO CHANGE THEIR SHADY PRACTICES.

Pros: Entertaining, Eye Candy, Social, Strategic Cons: Deceptive, Manipulative, Addictive Review: As you advance past level 200 this game adapts to casino like techniques, where it appears you either have to play mini games (keeping you on the app) or pay for boosters. Casino Slot machines are designed to only pay out once a quota is met, this game takes advantage of similar techniques (with the exception that you are the only one playing which makes meeting the quota much more difficult) matches required to pass each level become less and less frequent until you fail enough times (meet their quota) or pay to advance towards meeting the quota faster.⚠️Caution using IAP, you will still fail until the quota is met. This game is really good so far!. The plot is good and the way it intertwines with the levels is good. I think a thing of the court magician moving the broken chips into the potions you get as rewards would add another layer to it. (My headcanon is this is how that happens lol). The stuff you see in the ad is actually a recurring event and it’s hard to unlock those levels so I was dispappointed at first BUUUT hear me out… king Richard has a battle with the dark king every few levels so it actually is more like the ads than I thought! And the cutscenes are really good too. It feels like watching 1998 Swan Princess all over again. (Underrated movie.)

No ads? BS!. I went to level 254 and still did not see anything resembling the ads that this game has put forth… this game is nothing but a glorified version of royal match. On over 250 levels there is never a point that the king is in peril and you have to save him in time. Not once! I will never play Royal Match or Royal Kingdom again because it is false advertising for both, and not only do they advertise levels that don’t seem to exist they also advertise no ads, but instead it costs $7.50 to get rid of the ads on Royal Kingdom…I will admit I don’t recall seeing an ad on Royal Match, and I was at level 4581 on that one, but just deleted it now after finding out what level I was on. False advertising should not be rewarded by continuing to play the game however addictive it may be.

Gotchya Ads But Good. There is no “will he meet his royal match” puzzle game but there are puzzle games. The bait and switch would be annoying except that there are fun levels to play like using matching puzzle pieces to fight the enemy. There are goofy cutscenes to watch and you build a kingdom using points from winning puzzle games. However it is not like Cookie Run Kingdom where you can customize your kingdom. It just exists at a default as you progress. I’ll continue playing but I wanted to play puzzle where I save the king. I thought it was a funny spin off an idiom. I don’t like bait and switch ads. Stop it. Show us the real game and we may be loyal.

It’s pretty good!. I like a lot of aspects about this. It’s a lot better in a lot of ways than its predecessor. But there are a lot of levels that are not f2p friendly. I’ve run into a good amount of levels now that are really difficult to beat without paying to keep your cauldron. And when you lose it, it becomes even more difficult to beat the next hard level. Not a fan of the system but they do give you a lot of free helps and being on a team can help with lives. I just wish the levels were more casual, or that there would be an option to make them harder or easier based on usual preference.

The king is not in any of the game why?. In the royal kingdom games, leave the character or the king that’s acting in the game, it makes it more fun to see them, for example, if the snake is coming after the king to eat him, leave the game just as the ads presented,it’s no fun to just play the game, and there’s no actual satisfaction, I would like to see all the action figures stayed in the game. Its more fun to see them, don’t show us in the advertisement portion, the king, the snake,and all the other characters,when ready to play they are all taken out, I want to see the snake eat the king, or another example let me see the king being drowned, let me see the king jumping in the fire. In all this, I will be satisfied to save the king,just want to see what u advertise, the whole picture

“Free” until it isn’t. Ok these games are totally addicting and that’s the point. You play and get little rewards and get that dopamine hit. Then you reach a level that just isn’t passable. It’s designed this way. After all the developers need to make money right? So you pay $1.99 or $4.99 ONCE and the moment you do you beat that level. Yay! Until the next unbeatable level. I played the same level for three days and each time I was within two moves of beating it. EACH. TIME. This isn’t a mistake or a glitch. One simple micro transaction and I get that dopamine hit. Nope. Removed the game entirely. If you don’t mind pay-to-play games you might like this. But watch out when the ads say “free to play!” It’s not.

Scammy. Look, at first it was fun. But once you get beyond level 200, pretty much every level is designed to make it impossible to be completed in the allotted number of moves. The only way to complete them is to pay. Which.. fine if that was once in a while. But it’s getting to where it’s every level. Not even fun anymore because of that. Like I’ll bail myself out & it’ll offer 30+ extra moves to complete the level. Well, ok I complete it in 2. & then the very next level I have to pay again in order to have enough moves to complete the next level. So where do all those moves I just paid for go?!? They disappear. This game would be a lot better if you could use unused moves from previously completed levels, when they’re needed.

Beautiful Game And Story! So Addicting! Please Read Before Play!. Though Royal Kingdom isn’t at all like the ad of Royal Kingdom, it’s really fun and addicting! I totally recommend that you get it! I REALLY enjoyed the little story they show you when you first open the app. PLUS, there are literally NO ADS! I thought that in life I would never find a game as fun as this with no ads, but here I am writing a 5 star review about a game with no ads! Just incredible! Me and my brother love it, so if you have little kids who are bored and want something to do, get Royal Kingdom! ROYAL KINGDOM 4 LIFE!!!!!!!🤴👍

Love this app.. NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED!!!! I’m on the 771st level and I’ve only freed the king once. The sea animal thing where you have to get them out of the ice is so hard because there’s no way to get that high of a score. If the app developers see this, please lower it. And it’s really fun for the first five hundred levels but after that you can pass like one or two levels in the first try and then you can’t beat the next level for like a month. I like the app but it is very different from what is advertised. 3/5 only recommend if you are bored and have absolutely nothing else to do. 😔✌️At least there are no ads but you basically can’t win if you don’t pay to play LITERALLY SOOO ANNOYING UGHHHHH

Queen's Approval!. I've seen this advertised for quite awhile. Today, I finally downloaded the app. It's like Candy Crush with an animated story of the king. *Developers* With the ads that are run I wish you would give people a better chance of playing a full round - even if it has 10 moves - rather than just 4 or 5 moves as well as give at least one booster. Give people bonus points for trying your ad and maybe a booster if they give feedback. I know my daughter will like this game too! I also like the game so far because it doesn't have a timer on it - I end up deleting those games.

Feels “off” and imbalanced. I enjoy the first game. It’s addictive enough to pay money for. The matching feels challenging and the rewards seem worth the money to pay for if you want a little bit more. This one doesn’t have enough rewards and I’m not fond of the battle sequences. They are either to simplistic or too challenging. Or feel too much like other games with match battle sequences. Definitely needs to see more balance. Something just feels a bit off with them and I cannot put my finger on it other than to say they’re kinda boring. The beginning stages are also not quite “there” yet. You’re hit with new things to break within the first few levels and within several levels you’re suddenly having to break many different types of things but there’s very little reward for doing so. What makes a game addictive are the feelings of being rewarded for the achievement and there really isn’t any and the challenge of wanting to be rewarded. I like a challenge but it feels very imbalanced. Hopefully with time, this one will be as fun as the first. Right now it just doesn’t hit the spot.
