Good app. Any app that allows you to access and store files is a plus on any device. This one works; it is easy to use. Saving and accessing files is very dependable. Deleting files that no longer of use is also easy. I would recommend this program.

Feeling Ripped Off. I chose the upgrade to pro version and it charged me but never gave me the pro version!!!!!! I have proof of transaction and proof I don’t have the pro version after payment! I’ve sent emails to avail over the past two weeks not sure if my data is even safe now with this app???

I cant find files. I downloaded it to see files app on my iphone like telegram or other files. But its nothing.

Couldn’t find the delete file button.. Sorry but I needed this sort of ap to be able to delete files that are filling up my iCloud. The photo ap for some reason doesn’t show the file names. When I found the files and saw the names of the files that I wanted to delete but then couldn’t find the trash can icon, you lost me as a user.

Great file manager. For Apple this makes a wonderful file manager I use it for special videos and pdf files Works great for me!

Great files app - handles lots of files!!!. I have found this to be one of my favorite file apps out there and I've tried dozens of them. This one has the most functions as well as being able to handle quite a number of files, and folders. The only thing that I would like better, as I use it to bring in ePub files directly to my iBooks, would be if it could handle multiple file selections at once. That no app has been able to do this, I can't find fault with the app, as it's more likely a limitation built into the iOS. I have also used this to handle zip/cbr files for comic reading. It has handled manipulation of these types of files well, not to mention renaming files as I needed to. Sometimes it easier to do all this on the PC before bringing them into Files Folder, but it can be done after too, in case I missed a few things. Saves having to redo it on the PC and transfer the files again. If you need a great files app, this is one of the best available. Not to mention it is free, though even if it wasn't, it would be worth paying a couple dollars for its use. Happy 'Filing'!! 😉

Great way to manage zip archives. Just needed a tool to unzip zip archives on mobile. This app did the trick. thanks!

Room for improvement:. It would be convenient to have more user interface options, such as the ability to create color schemes for the apps folders, files, background, and icons. Options like this make an app more appealing to individual users, because it gives users a sense of accomplishment. Other than that I think the app is really nice. It functions well, holds what I want neatly, and doesn’t lag. I give 4 out of 5, because there’s always room for improvement.

Excellent file manger, why does Pro version get poor reviews?. Simplicity now, to save dropbox docs to iCloud, or files, and assign them to specific folders there, edit the name & sort several ways, once there. I use many cloud apps and browsers, and after 5 minutes, wanted to upgrade to Pro.....until I read the - reviews! Is there a seasoned user out there who can explain how to use it so it does everything the developer says it can do, and then explain what caused such - reviews. IOS11 user, and soonIOS12- many devices! Developer- is there a Pro trial avaiabe?

Unable to rename files. The option doesn’t exist.. I found this app looking for one that would give me the ability to rename photos on my iPad Pro, running iOS 12.3.1. I’m tired of having to upload them to OneDrive, delete them from my iPad Pro, rename them on the cloud and then download them to the iPad Pro again. This app page states that among the features is the ability to rename files, which is exactly what I need. This would be really awesome... if the option actually existed. But, it doesn’t. Among the many options available to me in this app, renaming a file is not one provided. I have tried with numerous photos, as well as PDF files. There are options to copy into many apps, save to device (I’m not sure why, since the file is already on it) and so on. But, the option to rename a file? Nope. It isn’t there. This is the one thing I needed this app to do, but the option does not exist in this app on my device. Back to the drawing board.

Has Google built into it. Settings shows generic web browser, which I don't have that. Tap that and opens Google. My iPhone has no Google apps. Safari has duck duck default also Safari is shut down in settings and not used. I use duck browser only. Besides that issue default iPhone files shows same info. You have to pay for more

Steve E. Looks to perform most functions as advertised. Very easy to use. However, it has not been updated for the new iPhone 11 screen landscape. When that happens, I will most certainly upgrade to Pro.

Good for transfer file from pc to your apple device. I think it is the best app for transfer file like music,video, photo and ... from your pc to apple device via iTunes.

This is the Best File app I’ve found.. It’s the easiest to use and it does everything I’ve needed to do. I have one file app that you can’t move files around in and can’t even change the names of the files. It’s easy to do both with File Manager. It’s also the best with Security.

Garbage. Don’t download this. It, nor does the paid version, does anything special at all. You will be enticed to buy it. If you’re looking for a file that stores in God knows where, the settings will not save you. $5 for this. Cheap but worthless.

Terrible. First thing is I was charged for the app when there was no information on pricing. Second, there is no ability to change the name of a file or change the file type. USELESS!!!

Little things. The app works perfectly, however numerous little things make using it aggravating. For example, when renaming files, it will automatically put a period at the end of the name, regardless of whether you want it there or not.

POOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO COPY TO FLASH DRIVE. I have found the file application useless, as most Apple products. There is not enough thought on the user end, the message can’t be conveyed to the user in detail. Instructions should be written by the end user, not by a programmer. They just don’t get it!

All files do not appear. I can’t find files in iTunes library or in the music file where I have 1200 songs. Seems to only want to work with stuff to be downloaded from pay sites. I want to see files I have transferred to the iPad myself. Can’t find a one of them.

didn’t copy paste. after downloding my ipad version 13 I can not copy paste or even remove my photos to image gallery in the app what should i do

Great file system. Was working great until the new software update on my IPad. Now when I try to move a file to a different folder the screen goes white and I have close the program. Please fix

Don’t know what I’m Doing. I do not like the file system at all. I finally got this app and things went smoother but I can’t see what I am actually doing! I am lost at this if you could provide some more insight, it would be very helpful. Thank you!

Lives up to its claim.. This is, hands down, the best free file manager I've used. No ads, except for a couple suggestions to get the pro version, which is very much worth it.

Great but needs to improve. It’s great app, it has all I need. The problem is on the app sometimes crash files or sometimes crash folder and They need me organizing all documents again.

Nothing! No files, no folders. I downloaded a song and wanted to see where it went. Downloaded your app and view local only takes me to the user guide. Users guide only tells me how great it is and to buy the pro version for 5 bucks. I go back to view local and there are no folders. I can see photos in the gallery but I can do that in Photos. I should see a folder called Music with the song I downloaded. Doesn’t work and I won’t buy it without trying it.

File Manager??? NOT!!!. Am I missing something? I was looking for a file manager that worked similar to FINDER. This whole app seems to be built around DROP BOX -- what about iCloud files or other cloud storage systems. This app is very disappointing at best. Not worth downloading.

Drives. I like it for most everything file manager and that but what I don’t like is It shows the Dropbox but I can’t connect to my Google drive and I wanted to Delete files from my Dropbox and it was just send them someplace it won’t let me do it. At least I can’t find instructions on how to do it

Perfect for storing music PDFs in alphabetical order.. Simple, straight forward app that makes it easy to use as your ‘brain’ to help remember those tunes you learned years ago.

Great File System. I really like the ease of downloading files to this app folder. It is easy to edit and name files how you like. I have reduced 2 droors of my filing cabinet using this app. Very happy with it.

Music files. This app used to play multiple music files. Now it will only play a music file if it is a single in a folder. If there are more than one it won’t play. Too bad as I really enjoyed making play lists.

Great filing cabinet. After battling with trying to change file names and creating folders, this is super easy to keep documents in some sort of visual order. Even for someone like me ☺️

Fills a hole. Apple do great hardware, and rubbish software. This app fills a gaping hole in the secretive, obstructive Apple operating system. It is easy to use, functional and effective.

good, but need to be improved. File management is good and I always use it . It is easy to use. Things to be improved such as techniques of editing should be introduce to this apps cuz most do the PDF file need to be edited. If the file can be edited in this apps, I think more students will use it cuz they have lots of lecture notes to be added information in.:D

Please make it more understandable. I’ve been trying to get mods on a game and people say these types of apps are the best, but all of them are trash and I cannot get the app in the managed app. This is the same for all the other apps, it might be great for businesses and junk. But this is really disappointing! Please fix you system if able. To be honest, I wanted to make it save a link to an app and I tries to click it but it said I had to get a different app to be able to read it, so I’m thinking.. “I’m wasting my storage up on something that won’t even work? Not sure. Seems appropriate, although I have not yet had the opportunity to try all options. I don’t seem to be able to access files already on my phone, as Apple allocates them, which was my main intent on trying this app., so there’s one star gone. ❌ Another star deduction for colour scheme; the links, ‘home’ for example, are white against a pale grey, making them hard to see. No option in Settings to change either link colours, background, or both. ❌ (bad colour scheme and no option to change colours could almost be two star losses, but a simple colour change option would fix both points raised. Another star deduction for the unknowns, as based upon the first two points noted I don’t hold out much hope. ❌ The points noted are sure to be readily fixed, so I shall decide whether or not to keep the app depending on if these issues are addressed. ✅ As mentioned at the start of the review the app does look promising, but it hadn’t crossed the finish line yet for myself. Others may find the app entirely suited for their needs.

Awesome app. I don't tend to write any reviews for any app, but by this is one of the best apps out there, it is very useful for anyone studying in high school, college or university. It's really great for storing PDFs in folders and best of all it's free

This is my 1st 5 star and I have about 100 apps. I'm loving it, create folders and folders within folders. Working like I did on a PC but the advantages of an iPad. Awesome. Could improve, not sure yet - the only thing I see some might like is the possibility to password protect, or better yet to password entire app or selected folders or files. Great in business if u need to watch confidentiality if it had that option. Dave TTC

Ok, but not fantastic.. Firstly, the file manager is not like the file manager in mac or windows. When you open a file in another app and edit it, the changes are not saved to the original file. When viewing PDF documents, there is no option to search for text. There is no ability to copy files from my iPad back to my drop box. In iTunes when my computer is connected to my iPad, you can only copy files to the root directory on the iPad. You can't copy an entire folder to the iPad in iTunes. You cannot copy files from the iPad to your computer in iTunes. From iTunes, you cannot see what files are on the iPad, you can only see the root level. I doubt the pro version has any of these features either.

The time of app you regret the second you download. Absolutely nothing like windows explorer or finder doesn't let you actually explore any files that aren't Dropbox basically just an advertisement for a paid version, these are the types of apps that make people hate the AppStore marketed with lies and completely banking on fooling someone into downloading only to open it and find absolutely no browsing ability beyond that of the Dropbox app or photo stream.

Love it, always in use. Better than Files United for simple viewing and organising. A real plus is the ability to get at individual files easily on my laptop in iTunes. Emailing files from within the app fails with ios6 & 7. Love its simplicity though :-)

It's a lie. This App does not work like windows file manager. You can not view any files on your ipad, it works to import files only and from a small group of outside storage mediums.

Homer. Downloaded this app. Tried to open and connect to my Dropbox but a error message kept coming up saying could not connect . So I deleted the app.

Ugh Freezing My iPhone 6. As soon as I installed this, my iPhone six lagged and froze, went through my apps one by one to determine the culprit. Removing this app stopped my issues. iPhone 6 unlocked on iOS 9.3 beta

Awesome app!. I was told about this app by a friend that uses it for everything from storing PDFs, photos and storing playing mp3s. I downloaded it and it works great! I have it installed on my iPad as well and in the light version I am able to share (by air drop) all files from one device to another. I am very happy to have found this great app.

The apple file app doesn’t allow me to save file locally. I had trouble downloading to my iPad mini2 locally (ios12.5.5) using the Files app, so I give this one a try, works great!

Amazing! The best file manager around.. I've been looking everywhere for a file management app that would help me organize my photos, PDFs and video files. This one is definitely my favourite. Yes, the interface isn't the most attractive, but it gets the job done. You can import files from the web, the cloud or anywhere else, and organize them on your iPad with ease. It would obviously be ideal if we could edit and organize files directly in iOS. But since Apple hasn't made that possible for the developers, don't blame them for this one shortcoming.

Not honest description. Description says it does many things that only the “Pro” paid version does. There is no mention of this. Your apps must not be very good if you have to resort to deception to get downloads. Have some self-respect.

File manager. Ok but not quite as easy as moving or transferring as with a pc. A few months ago, it stopped playing my music files.

Bogus. I can’t rename a file / photo I have downloaded with Chrome. Is that impossible with IOS 12?

file browser. Very poor sw quality. i want to see a unix style set of hierarchical directories of locally stored files with extensions with rwxd priviliges. just cannot get there from here. Does not seem to be operational. Who did the SQA testing for this?

No files?. When I open the app I can’t access my files so I go into settings and see what they ask for and still no files! Just photos!

Not really a free app. Free version only manages files within the file manager app making it completely useless as a file manager.

No files to be seen. Opened app and only file to be seen is the instruction folder for app. Tried everything to be able to see any files on iPad 9.3.5 not one file is visible. For me worthless app.

Worthless. Instructions for importing files are painfully outdated and misleading. This is largely Apples fault for removing File Management from iTunes; however, this app description implies that it can replace that functionality. It can not.
