So So. Great design , but unfortunately it's unable to transfer files by iTunes it asks about permission i dont like it the former app was so better

Lacking search function. The file works very well. I can't search long PDF files for specific words.

This App Got it Right!. Simplistic but not minimalistic! No fancy graphics with folders and files my way. Open to the App, save, sort, view, rename, send, play multimedia, view PDFs...... My files! My way! Not that highway in the CLOUD!? Very well done. THANK YOU,

Great App!!!. It allows me to have access to files on my home server without a lot of issues.

Consolidation. This app lets me get rid of multiple apps that I had in a folder. Now I just have this app that can access everything plus more.

Promising but has bugs. The app looks great, but I can't connect to Smb shares, everytime it says "unable to connect to the cloud service". From other computers i can connect without problem. Please fix it!

Does not work with iCloud Drive. The whole point I got this app was to have access to my iCloud Drive. It won't give you access.

Awaiting iCloud Drive. Used this app everyday. Since iOS 8 though I have moved to iCloud Drive. This app has yet to update for it.

Crap. I wasted $4.99.

Almost Perfect. I can transfer all my photos...the only problem is that if i delete the app...the photos will all be erased...there should be an account so that i wont have to worry about the app being deleted..example: like Dropbox

Great app. Needs to be updated for iOS 13 please the update I've got some bugs with the saving to gallery but this is still a great app

No Point. I found this app to be basically useless...Can't figure out the point to it...Functions are mostly duplicated by other apps...Wish I could get a refund...

Flawless so far. I installed the mac version on my personal and work macs and it has worked great so far. I dropped a whole folder of videos on the mac app and the directory was transferred in tact with the folder and files. Works great.

Great app. Does precisely what it says it's supposed to do.

The best. I've had both this and Documents Pro 7 ($3 more expensive), yet this has a cleaner, smoother, and better functioning interface.

Useful Utility. I use this app regularly and find it very helpful to all my cloud connections in one single app.

Waste of time. This app will not let access any files already on your iPad. i.e. You can't even access the files on this vendor's previous file app. If you want a solitary island of info only accessible by this app and this app only,go for it.

Very good. It was nice to delete other file apps and clear up some space. Using this single app to store files is nice. One issue I wish was fixed: After creating folders in this app and accessing via iTunes, the folders are not browsable. You must download the entire root folder and all files. Cannot select one specific file exclusively.

Love the 'local files' feature. I am glad you created a well-built, sturdy, reliable app that allows me to move things onto my iPad so I can use them even if I don't have Internet access. Great for using sleep hypnosis audios when I'm traveling and have uncertain access to the Internet.

All your apps do the same. Sir all your file managers do the exact same thing, different look, but they are all the same app. Different skins and bad downloaders.

Useful! For saving data in iphone. it is useful when I need to save data in iphone locally, not temporally download data.

Hope they upgrade it because.... It looks nice but the inability to connect to Airport Extreme connected disks is a must for 5$ (it has connect to Mac SMB but it doesn't connect), while a few other apps are capable of connecting And also, please redo the music player so it opens in the same window, not in a separate one with so much space for nothing Hope they fix it soon Then it goes to five stars

Darkness19. Pretty good app to get fast access to all your files in the different clouds. Works awesome and no single problem using it for more than 3 years. Highly recommended, period.

Unpretentious. Treats me right. Does exactly what I needed to do. Connects to multiple cloud services. Uploads and downloads easily.

Small improvement needed. Like the clean, sleak look overall. One thing though. I don't like the vertical colored line that denotes file folders, word, PDF, etc. I need to visually see a folder icon, PDF icon, etc. this may seem petty, but it's important for me. It helps me recognize things more quickly as I look for the folders and files I want to access. The slim vertical line makes me have to stop and think about what it is. Takes more time and effort that way.

Not quite right. I downloaded this b/c I was prompted by the original app but this still has bugs in it. The developer might need to double check a few things. A nice design though.

Very solid. So far, this is the best file manager I've found yet. However, I wish it had a slideshow image viewing feature.

Works well with iOS9. Files United seems to work perfectly with iOS9. I really like having so much control over my files. This app has everything that I want. Great job. 5 stars.

Very nice. This app does exactly what it promises. Simple, clean interface. Let's you manage different types of files with ease. Nice to be able to handle many different varieties of files and sources without having to open and close different apps.

Connectivity lost. It worked initially, but then communication between my iPhone 5S and MacBook Pro was lost. Both devices still indicate the app is active. I will now repurchase this app to make one more try.

Couldn't connect to Mac. Unfortunately, could never get this to work. iOS app found my Mac, requested access, and the Mac Files United app asked me for permission (I selected "Always allow" but then theirs app would pop up error windows saying it can't find the mac, it can't connect. Both the Mac app and the iOS app crashed a few times as well. Gave up after about an hour of futile attempts. I think this app has promise but it doesn't seem ready for prime-time, specifically on the iOS-to-Mac connectivity front.

Webdav doesn't work. Just gives me a login error, no details to help troubleshoot what is wrong. Works fine when I use the same server from other apps, but not at all with this one.

Not Ready. I have liked their File Manager Pro and believed Files United to be the latest and greatest allowing wireless connectivity with my MacBook. Neither the iPad or iPhone versions of Files United have been able to connect with my MacBook via their Mac App. There is no support to be able to contact. There is only one setting related to the connection that I can find, and that does not work. I have wasted too much time deleting and reinstalling in various combinations endeavoring to get everything working wirelessly. I will take some time endeavoring to get files transferred via iTunes, but that is not the seamless wireless transfer being touted. I will keep the app installed for awhile awaiting an update that will get this working wirelessly. Unfortunately, it is not there, yet.

Please update. Good app but please update to take advantage of iphone 6 and 6 plus asap

Great Space Saver!. I'm a professional photographer, and with my new Olympus OMD E-10M camera, I can now shoot live with my iPad. I also can download images as I shoot, which saves downloading time. However, my problem is space. This allows me to download all my images to my iMac, and using Screens, I can remotely control my desktop. Using this with its counter part on the iMac allows me to download and clear out my photo from my iPad, but I can use the program to review images and upload only those I wish to edit and FTP to my client. I will be posting my workflow with my iPad on my blog in a couple weeks so everyone can benefit from hauling around a heavy laptop. The images with the editors I use are just as good as Photoshop (actually, photoshop as a number of apps that uses the photo engine of the current Photoshop Elements.

Best File management app. Best for files, you won't be disappointed.

My 4 star score is based in part on the comprehensive feature rich nature of this program. The lions share of my high rating goes to Hans at the main office in Munich who notified me via email of the latest updates. I have owned a number of small businesses, personal contact from staff regarding products, services and support makes all the difference between a business floating along or thriving. EXCELLENT APP!. This app worked immediately across all my iOS devices & Mac. It immediately recognized all devices with the app installed. File transfer was fast I never realized it finished. Very happy with it! Thanks to the developers. 😊

Can't connect. Repeated failure to connect to windows network drives that other file browsers have no problems with. Waste of money.

Email attachments don't work!. PLEASE FIX. I open a file, click send-mail, send an email with file seemingly attached, and then get replies from clients saying attachment is not there! This has happened numerous times and I will give up on this app very soon if not fixed. PLEASE FIX.

Best SMB access app on App Store. I got this app primarily for access to my home server files (a WHS machine). It is hands down the best app of its kind that I've tested and I've tested probably 10 or so. The speed of access is maybe 3 times that of its nearest rival. If you want to access files on a SMB share then this is the app for you. I've just discovered that you can 'open in' any files by long pressing the file, clicking the '...' Icon and choosing 'open in'. That makes this a category killer for me as I use another app to store files on my ipad.

So far so good. Only got app today, downloaded onto mac and ipad. Dragged my course files onto app while on mac,had app open on ipad and PRESTO all my course files on ipad! So far I love it...too easy.

Preferred the original File Manager. I upgraded to this after being prompted by the original File Manager app. This is probably better for cloud services but it had two major headaches for me. 1) I can't retrieve individual files from my Laptop using iTunes (I can with the original app). I am forced to download the entire local folder each time! 2) To ensure files remain available for viewing or transfer to your laptop, you have to keep moving them from the "recently viewed" folder to the "local files" folder. What a pain! The app may be more capable but for simple viewing and retrieval of files I still use the original File Manager.

Does the job. Viewing docs at full screen docs is good. Simple to use. Never had it crash so it's reliable. Recommended.

AndrewC. I have used this app extensively since it came out. Used ICloud, Onedrive, Google Drive and wireless file transfer with ITunes. Everything has worked as expected and continues to do so. Video and music files have played flawlessly. What more can you ask for! In use several times per day. Highly recommended.

Un "File Manager" complet. Enfin un gestionnaire de dossier vraiment complet avec un accès aux dossiers de tous les ordinateurs locaux Mac et PC, un accès à iCloud Drive et tous les autres comme OneDrive et Dropbox. La possibilité de téléchargé dans un dossier local et un navigateur internet intégré à l'App. Il ne manque que l'accès à la borne AirPort Time Capsule que je n'ai pas réussi à avoir accès contrairement à Goodreader.

No point for this app. The app is a shell that uses Apple file app which makes it useless. It doesn’t add any additional functionality and what’s worse is it doesn’t reconfines plugged in SD card but Apple files does. Even at 6.99$ it’s a waste of money.

It's AirDrop for OSX-iOS. Does one thing simply, quickly, and effectively. Great implementation of a feature that Apple should have created ages ago. After transfer, file can moved to another app via "Open in..." dialogue box. Nice work.

Great interface, easy to use. It would be nice to have a search button in texts so that people can easily find the page number in long texts. An option to highlight or underline texts would be nice.

Some missing feature I would like: youtube download, text file edit and creation, special folder that avoid icloud backup, option to compress image to smaller png or jpeg. Files United. This is a wonderful app for those who need to organize documents into a variety of different folders (all of which can have sub folders), creating a digital file cabinet one can refer to either on an I-Pad or I-Phone. They can be password protected as well. I managed a very large staff before I retired and can’t tell you how much easier my job would have been if this app had been around then. I’ve waited a long time to rate it because shortly after purchasing the first version called “File Manager,” (which has been renamed “Files United”), the creators started making changes to it that vastly improved its efficiency. One of my first complaints about it was that one could not edit a document once it was transferred to the app. Now, however, they have made it possible to move documents into Apple’s Pages, edit them there, and move them back to Files United. Nirvanna will happen when one can do that in the app itself and hopefully that will happen some day. What has kept me in the game with this app is that from my first e-mail to the creators in Germany, I always got a response to every question—and I had many. I use the app for Recipes (I have a small baking business) and for Bridge, which I have seriously taken up. Being able to quickly refer to a bidding rule or convention on my I-Phone or I-Pad has been so helpful. As bridge players can imagine, trying to organize the many bridge bidding and convention rules in one place is beyond fabulous. But it was also important to be able to edit them as well as so often, particularly as one progresses, bidding and conventions changes. I’m still on a learning curve with some of the app’s functions, but I really love it and know that they are always listening “over there” to suggestions and requests for help. That is huge.

Excellent File Browser for the iPad. I've downloaded a number of File Browser applications. Until I downloaded this application I was left very disappointed. Finally a UI that it feels like it belongs on an iOS device (iOS 7), clean and simple with the ability to move and hide options of services you don't use. Supports a full range of services including local (AFP, SMB) and cloud services including Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Box, also WebDAV. Excellent app. If you're looking for a great File Browser grab it now!
