An amazing app that keeps everyone connected. I really enjoy this app and love the fact that it is very stable, you can talk directly with people on the radio on the other end. And while you have the ability to talk with everyone anywhere in the world, I wish they would at least orginize in some way an optimal way to orginize the nodes at least by location or perhaps group chat. I am not dinging them for that though, it just makes it more difficult to get going. With that being said, I'm not techie enough to even attempt a node, I'ld never be able to get it going. Fabulous tool.

Excellent. Very smooth running. My only wish would be the inclusion of the CQ function as was added to the original EchoLink app. Otherwise, a pleasure to use.

Does not work!. When user enters call sign and Allstar password, app reads “Account not found”. Can not get app to do anything. Don’t waste your money on this. Author has contact me and helped considerably. Upgraded to 3 stars.

Crashes for me under IOS 17.6. I want to like this app but I can't seem to use it without it crashing. Going back to the old free Echolink app.

Very good app!. I rated this as 4 stars, even though it is the BEST allstar app for iOS it is missing one important feature that would be highly welcomed; Apple CarPlay integration.

Great job. Transmit and receive audio is great works as advertised just wish we could use a push to talk in the spirit of using the radio. With push to talk in mind, will the developer of this app be making a app for android and utilize the push to talk on android device?

iOS issues. iPhone 12 no issues but iPhone 16 pro will not connect

Crashes sometimes, interrupting calls. This app will occasionally crash, disconnecting you from the call you're in. It also failed to load the list of stations for the first several times I tried to load that. It also sometimes randomly disconnects (possibly correlated to network changes) without crashing, and is silent for several seconds before indicating that it's disconnected. Audio quality is good when it does work, but it's too unreliable, so I'm back to using EchoLink for now. Also the ability to search for nodes by location like the EchoLink app has would be very useful, the list of nodes tends to be too long to be useful to scroll through if you don't already know exactly which one you want.

Crashes frequently. Unfortunately after using this app on my iPhone for the last two months I cannot solve the constant crashing. The app has been unreliable for me.

The Best app all around. This is the best app as of right now! So happy on how it performs on both EchoLink and on Allstar. It’s so amazing how smooth and easy this app cooperates like a simple walk in the park! Thank you for releasing such a well thought out application.

Great for travel!. I was away from home and wanted to connect to my local repeaters via AllStarLink, this is absolutely perfect when you are not in range of another linked repeater.

Many Allstar nodes reject this apps connection attempts. Seems Repeaterphone uses node-less, unauthenticated access to hub nodes. Seems large hubs disable “allstar-public” access to block abuse. This prevents me from accessing the large southcoastreflector network I’m interested in. I confirmed with the network admin. that he has disabled “allstar-public”. Several forum posters reported these issues with this app., and the only alternative is Android based DVswitch. Appears the developer is also aware of the issue for a couple of years now, and has no resolution. So, before spending your money- validate the access requirements of your favorite node network hubs.

Finally, a way to connect to Allstar on an iPhone plus it's fully voiceover accessible.. It's great to finally have a way to connect to Allstar when I am traveling and can't bring a radio and node with me. This app is very user friendly, and most important, this developer took time to work with the Blind community and make sure that it is fully voiceover accessible. Kudos to developers like these. Very much worth the price.

Great App for both EchoLink and Allstar. I run a node with Allstar and EchoLink at my QTH and I must say this is an amazing app!! I take this app with me every I go, and so far it has not let me down. I am able to connect to my Allstar node and my EchoLink just by toggling between Allstar or EchoLink in the app. I’ve been waiting for this for a while now, and the developer has worked hard in getting this up and running .great job!!

Great aAternative. This is a really nice value alternative that does not require any expensive special hardware other than a phone. Just set your credentials and you are on the air.

Works Great! Thanks!. I really like this app. Finally I can remotely connect, monitor and even talk via iOS! I use on my iPhone and especially my iPad. Solid connection and doesn’t time out in monitor mode. Great find!

There are bugs BUT. The potential once they are worked out is awesome. I will support the developer so that this awesome app can reach its potential. Update 8/15/23. Reached out to developer with another potential bug. Blew me off. He got my 8 bucks so what does he care. See ya. Not even the courtesy of a response. Even if it only happened to me not even an email saying anything. I got his attention with a one star review though. Proof in point.

I wish. I wish I could see the total number of people connected to the node even before I connect. Thanks for the app.

I want to like this. App randomly closes, most likely due to my use of beta iOS. I’ve discussed this with the developer and feel that it’s not the app.

Finally!. A simple and intuitive app that allows an iOS device to access AllStarLink in addition to EchoLink! Gets you on the air when you’re radioless or nodeless. The app is stable and well worth the price. I would give it five stars if the volume could be adjusted.

RepeaterPhone. I am a blind person, and I use Voiceover on the iPhone. This app is very accessible and useful. I greatly appreciate the work the developer did to ensure this app is accessible.

Login. I tried to set up my account and i always get “authentification failed”.

Favorites. I would like to communicate with the writer of this app. I can go into Directory and find an Allstar node but it will not let me in. I can go to EchoLink and find a link which will connect.... but.. when I put that node into the favorites, it will not connect.

Fantastic!. This is a great app for Allstar and EchoLink. There is no better way to connect to an Allstar node on iPhone. I even prefer this interface better than EchoLink’s native app. I’m looking forward to what else might come to this app in the future.

Finally!! iOS version has been made!. This is an excellent program and special thanks to WES for making this happen! Important note for those beta testing, 26.2 has broken this app. Do not update your phone to beta versions until they get this resolved. KA4EPS

Great start, needs a few features. I really appreciate what the dev has done here. Until this, only the one (beta, buggy) app allows for a direct allstar node connection. Anyway, this one works! Some wants in a perfect world: The watch app lacks the ability to hear through its speaker, and is merely a simple one-way PTT for the phone(Apple restriction). It'd be cool have more sorting for the large repeater list, and a last heard map/list which would be really useful. Another feature would be listen-only mode or just a dialer where I can connect to ASL nodes with allstar's codes like *72 etc... most of the nodes I regularly connect to like WinSys and hubnet error out with "Rejected: No authority found". I think the hub owners have blocked this type of client (and not DVSwitch which is weird). In any case, great effort by the dev and looking forward to seeing what it can become. Update after reading dev response: most of the issues here are Apple's restrictions. Oh, Apple.

Some Audio Issues For Me. I want to give 5 stars because it’s a great app so far, but my only complaint is the audio seems to be less than fully baked. I get only about half volume coming from all of the speakers on my phone regardless of what speaker is actually selected. In fact, trying to change from one speaker to another mutes the entire app and the only way to get even limited volume back is to restart the call. This may not be an issue for everyone – not sure. I’m on iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16.1.1 on most recent app version as of this writing.

Fantastic App!. This amazing app has worked flawlessly for me and I LOVE it! After all the amateur radio enjoyment RepeaterPhone has given me and continues to give me, I would pay 10 times the price and still consider it a good value.

Exactly what we needed!. I want to start off by saying this app is absolutely fabulous. This fills the entire IAX hole for iPhone brilliantly. Just one potential bug to report. We have a system around here that uses private nodes instead of public allstarlink nodes. I can make the IAX connection to them fine by adding it with node authentication in the favorites menu, but after I unkey when I talk with the app the node stays keyed as if I am still transmitting. The only way to stop it is to drop the connection. It looks on Supermon, like I never stopped transmitting but the audio is cut off. Other than that this app is perfect.

The perfect app atrociously run. I am just blown away by the fact that there is absolutely no options to differentiate conference or location within the RepeaterPhone app for All-Star or EchoLink

Almost like it BUT. I love to listen to different NODES and Conferences, BUT when you lock the screen it will close the connection and ends everything. Both Echolink and Allstarlink will NOT run while screen is off. Lame.. Rather go back to the Original Echolink APP and Zoiper.

good app but crashes with latest iOS. Not sure what the go is but with current iOS the app crashes when connected to allstar node. Otherwise works well and has been reliable upto now.
