I’ve used this app before on another device. I’ve used this app before on an iPhone and it works perfectly fine but for some reason when I’m using it on this iPad Mini 2 The app crashes on start up

Its fine. Works well, it’s basic and doesn’t tell you the exact number of performances but it lets you know it works

Needs moar features - at least for me. This isn’t a tool for the initiated. Definitely is useful and practical. I can just do all these tests on other software.

😔. I bought this app and noticed that it has a few bugs! For example when I open camera test I am starting touchscreen test instead of camera test. Could you please fix this? I am so disappointed!😩

Great, but could use some minor improvements. It seems to be a good app to test all the iPhone functions. I think my digitizer is broken and has ghost tapping up at the top of the screen and testing the touch screen functionality there’s no way for me to give it a fail for that specific test. Other than that, it seems pretty good so far! Also, i’ve been watching you videos for 5+ years and have bought from your online store!

Not Reliable For Critical Testing. Compass test does not work. Proximity sensor test does not work. Although I can see display dim when I place the phone near my ear, it always results in "No light sensor activity was detected". Error message.... Same result on two different iPhones. So I know this is not my phone or my settings....

Almost perfect. This app is a great tool for diagnosing my own iOS and iPadOS devices. I consider it almost perfect, because there’s two issues that should be fixed. The first issue is the light sensor test. Even with the automatic brightness setting active, this test can’t get results. It’s the only feature in the app right now that isn’t working properly. The other issue is that there’s a missing feature that would definitely be useful if added. If you add a battery aging test to this app, it will be a lot more useful. Those are my only complaints. If those issues were fixed, this app would really be perfect.

Fixed 2 issues, broke other 2. Recent update did fix the issue with Microphone/Speaker not working on iPhone 16 pro max, but now the test indicates that Compass and Light Sensor are not working. I know for a fact that they work perfectly. Please fix it!

Easy to use and inexpensive!. Worked well except for the Light Sensor and Vibration tests on my brand new iPhone 15.

Light sensor test no worky. the light sensor test never works, even though the screen dims, everything else besides nfc works though

Love this app!. This app is very useful and testing all sorts of different devices. I love it. I do wish there was a battery test or battery health identifier. Only reason I gave it a 4 star. I’d love to know the health of my iPads battery. Future update?

Helps a lot!. This app has helped me sell lots of devices. (Thanks, Hugh!) However as of 9/9/25, it has had a bug for a while now where the light sensor always fails. I tried it on two iphone 7’s, one 8, one XR, and my 16 pro max. All devices failed on this one component.

Vibration test not working on iPhone 16. Not bad at all except the vibration test does not work on my iPhone 16.

Good but please fix bug. This app is very good and i use it both on iOS and android, however there’s a bug on the iOS 12 version of the app because when i open it it instantly crashes. Works fine on iOS 13, but not 12 or 11 I think.

Thanks Hugh!. This test app will go a long way for any iOS device I purchase. Vary detailed and in depth. Well worth the $0.99!

Good. I actually give it 4.5 stars, not 4 stars. The only reason why I give it 4.5 stars is because I have to pay a $1 for it. I don’t mind, but please make it free and refund the people who bought it for $1.

Great overall. While I haven’t tested it thoroughly on different devices just yet, it does have some great tests to ensure functionality of an iOS type device. Would like to note for future improvements is that the screen burn in test still shows the clock and navigation bars and doesn’t appear to be in a full screen type mode. The digitizer test also feels a bit buggy but does work (doesn’t feel too accurate). Overall would recommend for a basic app to troubleshoot devices.

Awesome!. This app is awesome and straight forward to use!! Tests can be completed in 2-3 minutes and has absolutely no ads!!

Amazing app that makes function testing easy. I wish I had this app when I was still doing logic board repair. The only disadvantage is having to purchase the app for every customer phone repair. But for 99 cents it’s a small consumable cost.

Okay app. Vibration test does not work, and there isn’t a feature to see the battery’s cycle count or health.

Good stuff. Hugh I like your videos and this app but I'd think you'd have support for devices older than iOS 11. I'd buy a mac version if you made one

Speaker test issue!. I just bought a new iPhone 16 Pro Max and when I run the audio test no sound comes out of the speaker and the test fails. But the speakers work fine.

Great overall but the light sensor test fails. The app is great overall but the light sensor test results keep saying it is not working even though the screen auto brightness works.

All most perfect. The ap is all most perfect the only problem with the app is the light sensor and iCloud detection doesn’t work the app keeps saying that the light sensor isn’t working and my phone iCloud is turned on when it isn’t on and the light sensor isn’t working when it’s working i think the app needs to be updated other than that the app is great i bought the app for my iPhone 13 and my iPad 10.2 7th generation iam about to buy this app for my moto razr 40 and my Samsung note 9 hope it will work for my MacBook Air mid 2013.

NFC needs work, add service history and battery. Everything tested ok except it gave an error that my iOS version doesnt support NFC. I am on the latest version 18.4.1 as of 11 May 25. I was able to manually test with my galaxy buds 3 pro which worked right away. It didnt mark the test with a green check though. Also, it would be good to add a check on the service history and battery check. My battery is at 78% and it shows service is required. Would be good to have that all that info included saving a couple of manual checks. Really great app, love your YT videos Hugh!

This app is sensational. Came from the YouTube video discussing the viability of future 3G connected devices in Australia. For a basic diagnostics app, I absolutely love it, so good.

MOT for mobile. Am a non-techie who was worried about the 3G shutdown, so got this to check my VoLTE status. Very easy, informative, and logical flow tests, with green and red buttons helpful for inputs. Essential utility app.

Emergency call in Australia?. I was under the assumption seeing this in your recent video that it would test if my phone cam make emergency calls. But after buying it and running the test all i saw nothing about the emergency call. Is this a con?

Does what it says on the box. Great app!. I can tell that future testing all the functions of devices I repair is going to be a lot easier. One thing I would like added is support for older versions of iOS.

Very Handy App. The application is easy to use and comes with a complete set of tests for iPhone.

Works well and doesn’t collect data. It works as intended with an easy to follow GUI. As a bonus, there aren’t many apps found these days which do not collect data. This is a major win and something I really appreciate.

Useful for non-techies. I downloaded this app as a way to support the developer’s YouTube channel, but was pleasantly surprised by how helpful it was in testing my iPhone XS Max. App dosen’t work on iOS 12 devices. The app refused to start after the app is downloaded on any iPhone 5S and 6. Please Fix Hugh.
