I kinda love it. OK, so the first thing is I don’t think you can delete songs from your place if you don’t like the song anymore and you always have to sing two songs to make a whole playlist to sing your whole playlist of songs there’s no Taylor Swift on here you cannot just pick a song and then sing a your favorite song song is by someone else not the ones that you like and on the playlist if you wanna switch your order you can’t like you have to go all the way out and close the app and then you can play another song on your playlist. You have to do all of that just to play one song.🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤 in the practice song is so hard like a little judges you on your best voice🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 and then for me, probably not you it might make you a little hungry after🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤so I wish I just sing some songs if you’re having a little bored day🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱and have a nice day♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

No free content. I downloaded this app to practice my singing as one does. I am in musical theater and wishing to improve so I figured this would be worth a shot. When I downloaded the app I found that the tutorial was pretty nice and I was excited to try it out, but after the tutorial I found that EVERYTHING required premium. I couldn’t continue the learn section, I couldn't unlock any songs at all and there is a section of the app in witch you have to sing two songs to unlock, which I can’t do since any time I click on a song it says I need to buy premium. There is absolutely nothing for me to do after the first 10-15 mins and it was not worth that time anyway. So just buy premium, I hear you saying. I can’t. I am a minor with very limited of my own money, and my mother would not be able to pay for it for me. Also, it’s pretty expensive for a singing app. I would find it better to have the app cost money when you originally download it or something rather than the monthly payment to watch videos and sing a few songs. Overall, I’m just dissatisfied and disappointed because this app is a great idea it just isn’t meant for me apparently since I am unable to pay.

Cool app, impenetrable paywall.. The little bit I was able to use this app, it was really cool. The vocal range adaptation is really great and needs to be focused on more in other softwares like this imo. I was enjoying myself until I hit the impenetrable paywall this app presents you with after 3 lessons in less than 10 minutes and no trial songs. You might think, “oh but there is still some stuff to do right?” and sure, you can repeat the same 3 intro lessons over and over again to your heart’s content. There are a total of ZERO songs that you can try before you have to pay for their entire library of songs for at least $10 (and that’s only for a month). The closest you get to singing along before the paywall blocks your way, is the just chorus of 1 song. The whole point of this app is for you to learn how to sing by singing along with your favorite music, adjusted to your vocal range. It makes zero sense to me why you would advertise that part of your product so much, present a free trial for testing said product, and then not provide a way for people to actually try it out before they buy. TLDR: This app is the equivalent of walking into an ice cream shop, seeing the ice cream, and the only way to buy any is to pay for a monthly membership without trying any samples.

It’s Not What You Think at First…ITS AWESOME!. I’ve only had Simply Sing for about 10 minutes and I can tell that the girl who is talking, and giving out directions is really trying to help! It feels very comforting. And now that I’ve found out that I can adjust songs to my voice range (Alto) I’m starting to realize that I’m not bad at singing, and I don’t actually sound like I dying dolphin. I’m just not able to hit very low notes or high notes bc of my type of voice. I saw this from an add while I was singing songs from Olivia Rodrigo, and it is not what you think from when u see it on the add! I can tell, from this point on, I will gain confidence in singing! You may think your bad at singing, but trust me, no one is! You just have to sing them to your voice range! And you can adjust the voice range to the song ur singing! I found out how to hit just a bit higher notes (not like Ariana Grande) and my voice really isn’t that bad! Give this app I try, trust me!

Probably great. I really enjoyed the instructional style, and feel like I could benefit from this app. I do wish there were a selection of free songs that you are able to sing all of the way through, or a small number of songs, with the live feedback included for free. For example, 5 free songs of your choice before being charged, or a library of less in demand songs that you could practice with. As it is now, I am wary of committing, because it only provides instructions and feedback on little snippets of songs, and you don’t get a choice of what those songs are. Additionally you never get to try out the program on an entire song, so it’s difficult to determine if the app. would continue to help me progress. I absolutely understand that the developers need to make a living, and feel like the price is fair, if the quality of instruction is as good as it is in the free demo. But without the ability to sing several songs through to try it out, I won’t be subscribing. Overall though, the app quality seems great, and likely to help a large range of singers, from beginners to experienced, improve on their performances.

Very good but definitely a work in progress.. You should give stars for completed songs and how well you completed them. I don’t know why it keeps telling me to turn/shake my phone but it’s confusing. Sometimes the singers and the music telling you when and where to sing don’t match up and it’s confusing. The “talk in your normal voice to see your range” doesn’t work because I have a low talking voice but am a soprano. You should use some basic scales instead. Maybe add a metronome feature or a way to slow down the songs? Sometimes the app doesn’t catch my voice or I change a vowel to make the song easier and it doesn’t recognize it. It would be great if we could hear our voice or somehow duet with another app user. Could also be a fun way to employ vocal coaches and add links to vocal techniques and strategies. Would love more accuracy in hearing my voice but overall a great app and it’s good to see you’re adding more songs. Very cool technology.

Extremely large potential. To get rings through, I’m gonna tell everything good about this app and why you should download it. first and foremost it’s made to fit your voice range unlike Smule it’s made it so that you were able to sing any song you love all without ads. However there are a lot of things this app needs work on. for one, I know you’ll start adding an advertisements. I think the best way to add in advertisements without it being a complete pain is putting them in request, or straight out getting a commission for a song. now onto the much larger bits that the app needs fixing, specifically the more karaoke part. It only has a hard time keeping up with my voice, being that it doesn’t register fast enough so I’ll get wrong scores at the end. That and when it’s finding my vocal range I’m unsure if it’s actually accurate given that I’ve tried it multiple times with different octaves and all having very weird results. this app has a lot of work to do but, if fixed, could be one of the best singing apps that I have ever had experience with! Let’s just hope it happens soon

Needs free songs your free trial. This game does not understand that some people do not have enough money to buy stuff like this and there are kids on this some kids have no app purchases like what- but this app definitely needs to put some on this because some kids cannot buy so at least put some free songs in some VIP on there like all the other games are just like you sing and do not even like teach you stuff. This is a really good game. I recommend you get it it’s really great, but if you do want to spend some money this would be a better game if there were some free songs like I play this game and I could not find any free songs and it also need some more updates like it’s very old. I’ve had it for like three years and it has no updates and when it first came out it was like all the songs were completely free for a couple of hours or months and then I didn’t play for a couple of months and years and yeah yeah yeah and then I just played today and it didn’t have any free songs so I decided to write this up and if you’re reading this game. It’s a good idea but why do we have to pay for the songs. I don’t think so I don’t know if it’s a good idea for you to go out to the pool, with us and just sit there for an extra day to do that and then just hang out with you guys if that’s the plan for you to come back to your place and hang out for like two days if that, makes you more happy and you want that and I think that’s the way it should, work but you need more people in there to do the things you’re not going through so that’s the plan I 7 rings to be there to be around people who want me there to do it I know I just need a place for them but I’m just trying to figure something out so if you wanna go to work, and then you want me there and then you need to go back to the house and you need, to come home and you need a ride home or whatever but if you’re not there then you can come home because you don’t have any other things to you can come over and then we can go back there or something and then I don’t know what you need to do that you need to go back home.

I hate this. It’s so trash it’s $60 per month I’m not gonna pay $60 to hardly even learn anything they’re not even that good songs on there. Oh you know it’s so good app every single ad says that on simply singing it’s such a trashy app no one ever liked it in my family we try to do it. We did simply piano with simply guitar or simply tuning, simply simply simply and it’s so annoying because you don’t learn anything you can. I try to play the guitar I cannot play it at all after a month of playing or two months playing. It was like 100 and something dollars. I hate this so much no reason why I don’t know who would play. This didn’t learn anything I love simply singing at first but then 00 tells me, I can’t even do a single thing. Money cost money, money, money, money when we don’t have money I don’t want to do. It’ll be all these fancy places but I don’t wanna be paying for a month my trip costed for a year to stay or a year state is one hotel in Paris accosted $1000 and I will look at that. How much 100 and something for two weeks I’m not doing it. I am not doing it trash app, trash, trash, trash. Hi this is why I am learning sign language so you don’t have to sing or talk to any trashy, apps, trash, trash, and that’s my smart opinion why you should never get simply anything

Do not download this app. This app was terrible and it made me feel worse about my singing and the app pretended like it was listening to me and I was just trying not to ti get upset at the singer in the lessons because i was singing the exact same as the girl and i all ready know how to sing and it put me as an Alto even though i am A soprano would not download deleted the app in the first 20 minutes of using it literally is the worst singing app ever would not recommend would not download again honestly terrible I will not ever be using this app again and most of these people that are putting five stars are bots that are not real people if you’re a beginner and you’re trying to learn how to sing do not download this app because you’re just feel worse about yourself and plus they didn’t even have a search bar couldn’t search up your favorite songs you couldn’t even learn your favorite songs there was no other songs to learn than this girl is on fire and this girl is on fire this app is absolute bogus and don’t believe anything it say’s.

It’s good but… PARENTS. I am 8 years old, and it’s 2023. I’m telling you that because maybe you're gonna read this after 2023. I got the app and it was fun! But… after I finished the first part, it said that to continue, I needed to pay! I wouldn’t do that! I’m only 8! And plus, my mom and dad wouldn’t let me! They could do it, but I don’t think they would because they did it for simply piano already! I’m sorry, but if I don’t do anything at all with the app anymore, what’s the point of having it? Sorry… but… I’m gonna have to delete this app. Sorry, again! I just don’t want the one who created this to be sad. But lucky for you, person, or people who created this app! You also made simply guitar, and simply piano! I have simply piano! I didn’t get simply guitar, because I don’t have a guitar. My sisters have ukuleles, but I don’t know where they are. Will they even work to be a substitute for a guitar? Maybe, but still! I don’t know where they are! I’m happy to have simply piano! And maybe that’ll cheer you up! Has really good potential!. This is an AMAZING APP, voice, tracking, etc, but there is one problem. The paywall, this app would be perfect if you had at least a few free songs, then people can see what its like for the free song, not just a part of the song in the tutorial. And plus, many people are kids playing this, and like me, their parents wont pay for this- and kids ususally dont have money to pay for the app. Creators, tysm for reading if you do, i love what you have going on, its just you lose many peoples interest after finding out that there is a HUGE paywall, where you cant even sing one full song, if i may suggest, maybe either adding a few songs for free- or be able to do one or two songs or one or two lessons per day. You will still get money, of course, because if people really like your app, they would pay so they can get unlimited songs to sing so they dont only have to use two songs / lessons per day. Just a suggestion, because this worked for drops, a language learning app, and its really successful. Thank you!

Really fun app! (But still needs some updates). I downloaded this app because I find singing as a hobby and I saw it in an ad recently. It looked cool enough so I decided to try it out. It placed me as an alto, which I didn’t know because I’m not a song genius really. But I sang a couple of songs and really liked it! It adjusts the song to your range so that you can sing it easily. Which I find convenient. But there are a couple of things I would like updated on the app. I know many people have already stated this, but I think searching up songs would really help people to find certain songs that they want to sing. Also, I know maybe this isn’t the biggest deal but I still wanted to include it. As mentioned earlier, I was an alto based on the app. But there were definitely a lot of low notes that I couldn’t reach on most songs. I know it isn’t their fault but it was just something that caught my eye. Overall though, this is a really nice app for karaoke and I love that it was free to download and there were no subscriptions. (Most of the Simply apps require subscriptions) Anyway, I definitely recommend this app for someone who loves singing or even a beginner. -Izzy 😁

Love it😁. I love yours thing I love singing but the only time I do it is when I’m listening to music so I’m probably gonna sing more often and I really wanted a job as an actor later in my life so being an actor sometimes means you have to sing and this will improve my singing and maybe one day I’ll be excepted also whenever I saw all your simply ads I thought simply piano and simply guitar were different people that made it so I was all like Who is getting more of the people to download it but then I found out y’all are all the same developer and I was like oh but anyways I love y’alls app it is so amazing but for simply piano I don’t want to download it because I don’t have a piano or anything like a piano but can you please start having to buy premium for every single song you’re a post to sing it is really annoying I had a piano once but then I download the app and I learn my first song I got really good at it but when I try to find it play my favorite song it wouldn’t let me because I had to get premium and I don’t like spending money thx

Good but there’s some flaws. Okay, this all it has a cool introduction of the app which is why I gave it two stars instead one 1. The introduction was cute and simple and it was fun. It’s beginner friendly too which is great. The only problems I have is with after the introduction. To continue on into the next singing lesson you have to buy premium which is VERY annoying. Then, you can’t play ANY music in the free version of your choice you can only play that one warm up from the introduction. This game is literally forcing you to buy premium and the younger people may not be able to afford that. This game needs more songs even with premium. I feel like this game would have more hype if the free players could have the next few parts of the game and if they could actually use some of the custom songs. Overall I don’t like this app but if you wanna try it for yourself you can! Everyone has different opinions and unfortunately this app didn’t work out for me. Hopefully it works out to whoever is reading this

Way too expensive. I downloaded this app hoping to find a way to improve my singing voice for my choir audition coming up, and I really enjoyed the first 30 minutes of it. The app did help, and was fun and easy to use. However, once I got past the “beginning” section, and unlocked the songs, I was met with the pop ups of “subscribe to premium for 100+ songs” and at first I was fine with that, I was expecting in-app-purchases, but as I clicked on more and more songs, I saw that there wasn’t a single free song on this app! So I went back to the ‘practice’ page, and again, the only one that was free was the one the tutorial had you do. Even the other lessons after the first six or so are for premium only. Personally I would not recommend this app, it seemed so perfect at first, but in my opinion is definitely not worth $120 a year. ($240 if you use a monthly subscription). Now don’t let my stinginess stop you from buying this app, because if you have the money for it, I’d say go for it! I think this app would have been perfect had it not been for the large paywall to see if you can sing “Fly Me to the Moon” at the right notes. :(

Pro singer, love this app. I’m a professional singer who’s currently working through some vocal technique setbacks, and this is a fantastic supplement to my work in voice lessons. I can see how some people (particularly beginners) might find it confusing or frustrating—the voice type detector told me I’m a bass (I’m a lyric tenor) and even after I manually selected tenor, some of the recommended keys for songs were a little weird. That said, it’s super easy to shift the key of any song to a comfortable spot for your voice and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pitch detection technology is. To be clear, this is by no means a substitute for one-on-one voice lessons… but it’s a fantastic way to “game-ify” my practice time and sing tons of my favorite pop songs in more comfortable keys. Despite its minor shortcomings, this is my new favorite app. Thank you, SimplySing!!

Some substantial technical issues. I like the concept and the overall presentation is great. But the range detection based on speaking voice is inaccurate. I am a tenor. Speaking first said I was a baritone a d when I tried again reading in a higher tone it actually said I'm a bass. After completing lessons to unlock songs and buying a subscription I was on my 3rd song when it forced me into the 'hands free' mode and made me select 3 songs but then had no way for me to return from that to the main program short of quitting and restarting. When I select a song and choose a range it is ignored and the song always begins at the range the app wants me to use, and if I make any change in the range after the song has started it shuts off the mic and will not give me a score.I also found it very off-putting that the very first song it chose for practice was one that I hate, with no option to choose a different song or skip. Finally, it has performance issues, freezing up on my iPhone 14 pro whenever I change screen orientation. It's a HUGE battery hog, quickly draining power even in low power mode.

I didn’t like the app. I dowloaded this app so i could work on my singing and do what I love. The reason I put one stars is because when you get the app It will walk you through if you are alto, bass, and more at first I loved it because it would help with my singing and pitch, but then I followed the instructions and it pulled up the songs and I found a song I needed help on singing and reaching the right pitch, then it told me I had to either pay for premium or pay a monthly subscription and I was like I’m not going to do that so I choose another song and it did the same thing so I was playing with the app to see if I could do it for free for like 7 days like any other app would. Lastly I just deleted the app because it was a waste of time and it was expensive to pay for premium specially if kids would like to use the app they would have to pay and it would just be a waste of money for the kids but I liked this app but I wouldn’t use it again. I recommend to use the Smule app because it is a way better offering and you get to sing songs you love without paying. Thanks for reading and I’m sorry if this was a bummer but idk the point in paying for this app if you can use the money for different things.

A good idea but quite a few notes... Hi, I know the chances are low, but if you’re a dev reading this, there’s a few things that I both really don’t understand, and really find annoying; 1. For some reason, I can only do tutorial songs. Literally everything else says it requires premium, an I mean EVERYTHING. Every single song I click on says it requires premium, continuing practice requires premium, and I can’t even unlock a part of the app, because I need to sing two songs to unlock, but I can’t do that since all the songs require premium. I’ve seen other reviews saying that there are no subscriptions for this so I’m assuming premium is a relatively new thing but I just don’t get it. If you really need money that badly, just make the app itself cost money. That would honestly make more sense to me than doing this. 2. Practically none of the songs I listen to are on this app which is annoying, because I only really downloaded it to sing a specific song that it doesn’t have. If possible could you guys fix these? It would make the app less frustrating and make more people enjoy it. Thanks for reading this whole thing, and I hope you at least consider doing something about these! Thanks again.

Fun but incredibly inaccurate.. Breath signals are at awkward places, songs are sometimes hard to follow because the singers have put their own spin on them so it's not always what you expect them to be (for example, colors of the wind from pocahontas is a bit different than the original), some songs have random freestyles in them that shouldnt really be a part of the lyrics (like dear future husband by meghan trainor, the random background 'hey's and 'oh's that I dont feel should be part of the notes that you need to hit), and on top of that, the pitch grading is just horribly off. I've purposely sang notes lower than theyre supposed to be and it says theyre too high and vice versa. sometimes it stays in one spot through the whole song. I try to sing horribly and it sometimes gives a perfect score. I let my two year old try singing a song and even though he has no idea what pitch even is and sang only a quarter of the words, it still picked up and gave him a 98%. it just seems to be all over the place

BEST app on my phone!!!!!. I want to make this clear, I NEVER write reviews (and tbh I probably never will again bc this took me along time hahahaha). But I just can’t not not review this app because anymore because it just continues to exceed my expectations. When I first got it I was skeptical and was about to delete it before I even opened it but something just came over me saying that I shouldn’t. The very next day there is an amazing update to the app little did I know that this happens almost every day! This a really really good thing because they keep making it better and better. When I think they can’t do anything to make it better, they do, for example today they added in a vocal coach and it really helped me have more control over my voice. I love to sing for fun and I have sung for competitions before and they taught me things that I never known before even with my vocal coach. Keep it up SimplySing! ❤️

What is going on here.. First if all I want to say that this started out like a great idea. There were a bunch of cater girls to choose from and it seemed like a wide variety with even warm ups in the mix! But, then you see that the musicals category is mostly Disney songs and then it’s two grease songs and one Hamilton song. Hardly a musical category. Then for literally every category Olivia Rodrigo seems to be there! There is no escape. When after I first song I did I saw that there was a warm up part of the lesson I got excited and they seemed to explain it decently. But then they showed the warm up and it didn’t exercise my voice or make it feel healthier at all especially because it was only one warm up for any voice type. It’s not tailored to your voice or what you can do so it’s the bare bare minimum for any beginner warm up. And finally it doesn’t listen to your voice. Like at all. A common complain was that I doesn’t actully state your voice part and said alto for everyone. I had the same issue and I’m a soprano one. Halfway through most of my songs it would just stop listening to me. If you read all the way through this congratulations have a cupcake 🧁

Getting sorted into my proper singing range is insanely annoying (haven't managed yet). I tried tenor but I found it was too high. I sang baritone in high school and probably am today. After initial setup there is no way to adjust your range. "No problem." I guess. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. ... Now I went through the voice range thing again. It pegged me as a bass this time but I don't think that's the right range for me either. I clicked try again over and over to try to get it to register me as anything but a bass. No luck. When I reached the top of my vocal range, I had my daughter (a soprano) read it as high as she could. It was comical to hear her read it in a squeaky cartoon voice and again the lady says "sounds like you are a bass". ... So, feature request: I cannot change my range change my range after setup. ... And bug report: I cannot change my range during setup either. ... Okay, brb deleting the app and trying again over and over to see if I can eventually guess how to read that stupid passage in what the sorting robot thinks is a baritone voice. Oh and I guess feature request: just let me pick a vocal range somehow. ===== update: it takes so maddeningly long to listen through the unskippable intro just to have this stupid robot get my range wrong again. Bass again.

This app pisses me off. And it makes me too mad to sing. I don’t have the wired earphones they show in all the ads and they are 1000% necessary for this. Otherwise, it picks up its own music instead of your voice no matter how quiet the music is and how loud you are trying to scream-sing into the microphone. I have AirPods and I even tried using one to listen to the music so it wouldn’t pick it up and using the other in my hand like a microphone right near my mouth and it thought I wasn’t singing at all. I’ve been told my whole life that I was a soprano, but this app told me I was an alto and every single song pops up with the lowest part WAY out of my range. It keeps changing my age for some reason too? Not sure it matters, but it changes that and my icon for whatever reason. There isn’t a way to really truly adjust the vocalist level on the track either - there’s 3 levels: no vocals, regular vocals, and burst your ear drums so you can’t hear anything else ever vocals. It’s also probably not important to anyone else, but I just tried to sing Amazing Grace and there is 5 min of musical interlude in the middle of a song designed for a singing app. Idk what that was about… I’m sure there’s something better out there - go find it

Great! And keep improving.. First day using the app. Exactly what I was looking for in terms of practicing my karaoke singing! Being able to scale the song’s pitch to match my voice makes it easier to sing and have fun. Being able to review my singing and where the pitch doesn’t match, This lets me evaluate whether I need to adjust the song’s overall vocal range or if I just need practice to remember singing in that certain pitch for that certain syllable. Can also offer suggestions to add my other favorite songs that are not in their app yet. I suggest adding a Favorite Tab. This is so I can quickly refer to it when I’m looking for songs to sing at a Karaoke restaurant and using their equipment. Other improvements can be thought of by looking at other similar apps and thinking whether their navigation is fun, how is it fun, and whether it can be implemented into your app. Overall I would grade as 90%. It’s exactly what I’m looking for and adding improvements is like the cherry on top.

If you like karaoke? (Otherwise no). This doesn’t really teach you how to sing. There are no warm-ups, it doesn’t teach you correct posture, breathing or how to even properly sing without straining or hurting your voice. I was hoping this would really help me “up my game” so to speak and be a good replacement for singing teachers that I had several years before Covid… this doesn’t even come halfway. Yes, it’s fun, but that’s about it. It changes your singing range based on your talking voice, which I feel is highly inaccurate. I knew a boy who talked normal but had the richest lowest voice, and I myself placed as a soprano in college yet this app says I’m an alto. Sure that’s “comfortable” for me, but with proper training I am a soprano. As for the other features of the app, there’s no way to slow down the song if you don’t know the words, and there’s no music notes to follow… just these random lines of different lengths and height placement that don’t really tell you anything but estimations… basically, if you know anything about music you’ll be sorely disappointed with this app. If you know nothing about singing, you’re not going to learn much, but you’ll also be enjoying it a lot more too since you won’t know how inadequate it is. Sorry for the harsh review, but I had such high expectations.

Great app but a few suggestions. I downloaded this app to get better at my singing I am in a choir and does theater, so I wanted to train my voicebto get better. The intro was awesome andbi understood it but after the intro it went down hill for me. I am syill in school and living with my parents so I am not allowed to have subscriptions in apps. When it opened up the library I couldn't play any song, I wish that you could unlock songs with either adds (I don't really care for adds unless they are right in the middle of something) or we start off with a few songs and by doing them really good or playing more songs you would be able to unlock them. Second I can't practice my lip and mouth movements because I need a subscription to do so. I would rather have the same things as u said earlier unlock with adds or songs. That is really it so because his can't move on I can't say anything else. Oh, one other thing I wish we could edit our profiles and have a part of the app where we can sing with other people! (That might already be added but in the later levels, and likevi already explained I can't move on) I hope this could help viewers that ink about the app more carefully or the developers find different ways for people to enjoy the game experience

Fun game!!!. This is a very fun game and it has helped me sing better on higher or lower pitches, also my voice sounds Much better when I sing any song!!! It is a relief to me… I gave this app 5 stars because like I said before this app has helped my voice sound better when singing any song, I recommend this app too kids/people ages 5 and up even though it says 4 and up still 4 year-olds can use this app but I think 4 year-olds are 1 year too young. I made a request for the developers to add more high school musical songs like get your head in the game and more high school musical songs. My next review will be on toca life or pro microphone. This app COULD be great—but it’s not. As a semi-professional singer, I recognize that we can all use some help improving our instrument. The concept of this app is fantastic and sold me based on the advertisements. First of all, beyond the 20-min tutorial, absolutely nothing is free. So I decided to gamble $10 for one month to see what unlocked. The songs, while customizable to your voice range, have to EACH be customized—the songs were always intuitively set WAY too low for my alto voice. Not all altos can sing the low-low notes. Next is the singing interface. A click beat behind the music would be helpful with staying on beat with some of the more free flowing instrumentation. Next comes my review of the pitch identifying portion of the app. Notes that I’m fairly certain were on pitch were flagged as off pitch, and ONLY when I sang very straight and lifeless was I able to achieve proper pitch results. This does NOT help someone become better as a singer, it only helps people beat an app game. In fact, my voice felt very stressed after doing a couple songs in my proper range because of this. There also does not appear to be any real singing technique tutorials, short of breathing exercises. Again, I had high hopes for this app as a singer who always wants to be better, but the app falls way short.

Misleading, Only useful if your using it to learn. I think you get the deal with this, and I’m also gonna mention on how this app isn’t as good as it used to. But before this I’m just gonna say, Hi I’ve had this app since may something 2022. This app used to genuinely be very good. Like top tier, yknow, when everything was free. Back then it didn’t really have lessons but it was still good having the voice thing to see your voice range and talked you through the app and the song library was FREE. and late 2022 they introduced lessons for the first time to which o thought was really cool! Took a break from the app after that, and not to mention was still FREE at the time. Next to earlier this year where they decided to get more professional with the lessons and I thought was decent, but notice on how it’s still FREE? Still early this year the made it to where it was MANDATORY to do the lessons, which is literal Ykw. That part literally sucked. And now to currently where I’m writing this review you basically have to pay for EVERYTHING. except for lessons, and lessons are the most boring part, but I get there important but the genre is misleading, at this point it isn’t a “advance karaoke app” It’s a learning app where you have to pay to actually get what you downloaded this app for. Totally money hungry. The old version was better.

Really good app but read this before you download. I saw this on an ad for when I was playing another game and it looks really cool because I love singing and I really want to start being professional way more professional so I download it and thinking that you know I will just have vocal exercises and that I could do any song I would like but you have to pay for almost every single song that you want. You have to pay for premium to get any song and the only thing that is free is the lesson that comes the first thing and then after that you have to pay for almost everything I write this maybe three out of 10 but I would definitely recommend buying it but then don’t pay for premium because then you’ll have to pay $10 a month and I do not recommend that I thought it was just gonna be everything free but no, I thought wrong so don’t download this app unless you wanna play $10 for a a few songs don’t download it unless you want to pay $10. Also the lessons are super clear and understanding so super sad that I wasn’t able to do any songs or anything so I haven’t gotten very far so tell me what you guys think also do not pay for almost everything pay for the month, the premium, and then no more!!!

Needs better advertisement. Obviously every free app isn’t actually free. Nothing is free in this world. Don’t expect going in to this app that it’s free, it isn’t. This app still needs a lot of developing. Also especially better ads. The ads barely give you any information on the actual app. All I am saying don’t expect this app to be like the ads. The ads barely demonstrate the app well enough. Well I get that their ads giving less descriptions helps sales, but it’s harmful for kids not talking about the price. Some kids I know who downloaded this app like my cousin went it to the game thinking it was free. And once she got in and saw the whole subscription thing she clicked it without thinking. You might say how does that deal with the ads well if you talked more about the money instead of saying it’s free to download talk about the subscriptions. Kids are dumb and will buy it to this if you don’t get more description. But I know this is a company and companies are pretty shady so they are probably doing this whole stuff on purpose. Just if you aren’t a scummy company give more descriptions on the app in your ads. Also you just need more in general the ads only really focus on one thing about everything in the app. This lack of detail just makes you kinda go blind in the app.

The premium membership. Honestly, this app when I first got, it seemed so amazing and it really looked like it was going to help however, it does not allow you to sing to other songs. It only lets you do the lessons which doesn’t have much singing in it if this app is designed to help others grow in singing, then why does every single song you can practice require a membership If you want people to grow in singing? Well they’re not going to grow when every single song is blocked from them not everyone can afford to pay premium membership. And its going to take learners longer to learn, this can also cause them to become bored with the app or lose interest in it. To fix this problem, the app should have a limit to how many songs a learner is using per day, and once you reach the limit for that day, the app should ask you to go premium in order to sing more songs for that day. It will help the learners grow, and it will also promote your premium in case others are wanting or are able to pay more. This way people won’t stop giving up on the app and you won’t stop losing revenue or customers for this service.

Just a suggestion. I just started your app. I think the price for premium membership is more than fair, and I think your lessons are much more thorough than those that I started doing on Yousician. your price is also much more reasonable. However, the song that is being used to initially test my vocal range is Shallow by Lady Gaga. i’ve never heard this song before and, although you provide the lyrics, I have no idea what the melody is or where it’s going. How can the app accurately test my vocal range if I don’t know what I’m singing? I understand that to access the songs in your app you have to purchase a premium subscription. That’s totally fine, but for the range testing song, it may be more prudent to provide say a list of 10 songs for customers to choose from when testing their vocal range. I’m now having to go onto Apple Music to listen to this song over and over just to learn it to test my vocal range I have to admit, that’s kind of annoying, especially since I honestly don’t like this song. Just a suggestion.

THIS APP IS MISLEADING TBH-. I downloaded this game cause I like singing as a hobbie. But now it’s just horrible. Other replies I’ve read said it was free but what’s the point of getting lessons at first,then asking people to buy almost everything. I know it’s for them to get more profit off the app. But that’s just wrong. I’m definitely deleting this app very soon. You give free lessons then right after I pressed 4 freaking songs and all of the ones I pressed you needed premium for. I don’t think any one would want to waste there 10 dollars every single month on a game, when many other singing games just like this one are COMPLETELY free unless you want to unlock stuff. I think this was a waste of time and the lessons were barely clear on what to do. What I mean by barely clear it seemed like the lady telling us what to do DIDNT even sing to be honest. This is a waste of time and a very misleading game. U wouldn’t download it unless you wanna waste 10 bucks on premium definitely deleting this app right after this review. Complete waste. Don’t download unless ur dumb.

Wish I didn’t have to buy premium to sing. I love this app and the beginning coaching is great, but there are some downsides. 1 not all of the coaching is free and after a little bit you have to start paying if you don’t then you can’t keep with the coaching . 2 Once you unlock the ability to sing the songs from the song library, you actually cannot sing the songs in the song library unless you get premium. I’m not 100% sure if it is always been like this, but based on other reviews, I believe that it used to be totally free. I don’t want to tell you how to run your business, but I would suggest making a free again because it would help a lot of us out on most apps premium is an option. It is not necessary to use the app properly and it’s only for people who want a better experience. I really wanted to learn how to sing, but now I can’t even sing the songs in the library and it’s a lot harder to learn now if you are OK with paying for premium I suggest you do so for best with this app it’s great I just wish everything would be free I know you’re trying to make money but it would help a lot of us out

It’s kinda like a pay to win app. What I mean by the title is that basically every song you need premium and some families don’t want to fund or pay every month or even buy it. You guys should at least make some songs free because I scrolled all the way down on the songs page and you need GO premium. It is insane that to enjoy this game, you need money. You guys need to make this better. I can’t even give a rating because I never played any songs beside the tutorial ones. I hope you guys fix this or at least make some songs free or just have a simply play currency and you could get it by how much stars you get once completing a star. That currency could help you buy new songs and the premium could be for exclusive songs that you guys think are or some things that you guys think are exclusive. I hope you guys really do something about it. I know everything isn’t free in this world, but at least make something free in this game like songs and the things I mentioned above. Seems like an interesting concept but no free trial. As far as I can tell, there aren’t any free songs to test out as a proof of concept. It’s showing me a bunch of songs on the “unlocked songs” screen, but any one I click summons a paywall, and the price is much too high at this point. There are other apps & websites that do roughly the same thing more affordably. The vocal range adjustor is a nice feature here, but without clearly labeled Free songs to test it out with, there’s no change I’m going to get hooked enough to pay for the service. After going through the rigmarole of their intro breathing exercise & warm up (which any committed singer would likely already be familiar with - so this isn’t anything you can’t get elsewhere for free), you “unlock” the song library - but evidently that only means you can view songs available, should you subscribe. It feels a little bait-and-switchy, a bad marketing technique. I’m annoyed to have invested time in excessive basic exercises only to find that NOTHING is accessible for free at all. Can’t even tell at this point if I’d come to like the app but based on this, reckon I won’t ever find out.

Good concept, needs work. I love that it’s free (more on that later) and has some good songs, super fun, but there is a lot to unpack. First of all, I told me I was a tenor. I actually take music lessons and a my teacher, a professional musician told me I was soprano. I thought whatever and did the songs it recommended but it was tooooo low for me to sing. Also, the song selection is little good. There is Numb Little Bug, All I Want, and traitor and that’s really it for the good songs. It was heavily advertised with drivers license and I was disappointed to not find that. WHY IS THERE NO BILLIE EILISH? BILLIE EILISH IS THE BEST MUSICIAN? Also, it said showtimes and musicals but I couldn’t find any. No Hamilton, No West Side Story, but there was plenty of Encanto (AKa the most overrated movie ever, I only watched cuz , I mean, Lin Manuel Miranda). The final thing is, I actually learned traitor with my teacher for 6 weeks very recently and spent so much of my time perfecting it. I even performed it at a festival. Yet, singing this song, it gave me 45 percent note accuracy. 😡. Besides all that, if you put more work into it, this is a really fun and amazing app. Maybe fixing those things would make it so much better! So glad it’s free and not like a thousand dollars like SimplyPiano. If ads meen keeping this fee with the changes I suggested, I would never stop using this app even with the ads.

Why con I only do so much?. I got this app because my friend and I are trying to start a band, I am not a singer but I thought i would give it a try. I was enjoying it at first but after like 3 small lessons (including finding what pitch I was ect) there was only one thing I could do without spending money, it was a little starter song that taught me when to breath in and sing as breathing out (or something along the lines of that) every song I would try to do told me I needed premium to do that. I decided to wait a day and see if would unlock it. (I had also tried to continue the lessons thing but it also cost money.) once I waited for the next day it was the same. I would not want to practice the same lesson over and over again. I had heard that it use to be free and I wish whoever made the app kept it that way. If anyone’s wondering i found this app off of a TikTok add that made everything look free. I would rate this 2 and 1/2 but I can’t do half stars so ima just go with 2 or 3.

Nice ( one problem ). This app is quite great I really enjoy it honestly, personally for me I learned some new things ( from tutorial mode) But I’m the problem is that I looking for an app that was free so I thought this would be the one but in my case it wasn’t. I got through the tutorial and then for me it’s done, I not gonna pay for a singing app personally, for me I can’t even sing to another song in this app like it was disappointing, So if I'm not gonna pay for a singing app then I would at least expect up to 5 - 10 free songs and for me they don’t even have to be popular songs I just want to sing, I’ve been seeing other reviews saying that they got to sing for free but not for me, everything is locked with premium and I mean everything only thing that’s free is the tutorial and a warmup I was dissatisfied with that issue but other than than so far what I’ve seen for the tutorial and concept of this app I think it’s great I just wish there was more options for the freebie people.

bad. Just bad it’s not related to the ad horrible.. It’s great but no to great , the first trail is amazing a little it tells some strategy but that’s basically it it’s like a tutorial, but not because like when I was trying to finish up the so-called tutorial it did not work so then, when I finally finished, it told me that I got the library song, the library of the songs whatever we can call it but when I unlock that I press the songs that I wanted and guess what happened, it did not work because suddenly I needed to pay for premium and mind you I am nine years old and I can’t pay anything so when that premium came out, I decided and thought hey maybe all I need to do was get out of the premium place and go to the free library, song place but guess what after that no no no we still need premium and all I could do is just keep on replaying the trial that I already did because guess what I cannot play anything or any song that I wanted so I would rate this a 2 and a 2 only

Really cool app to help learn to sing but definitely need some improvement. What I mean by improvements is that I think the app should be free for the singing and classes because apparently this app used to be free for everything. I don’t know if you guys decided to make a cost money, but it would be great if you can change it back to free, not telling you what to do but I feel like it will help a lot of us out, because not everybody likes to waste money not trying to bring any hate to this app is really good but need some improvements I don’t know the reason behind why are you guys put it to cost money? when is it used to not? this is my opinion on this app is really good but need some improvements. And another thing is if you do is download this app and get premium, make sure you’re actually gonna use it. Don’t buy something you’re never gonna use cause that’s a waste of money. Make sure you’re actually gonna be going on the app somewhat like every day every three weeks every two days like you don’t wanna waste your money tonight use an app if you know what I mean. Why do you have to pay for it???. I downloaded this app thinking it’d be a fun way to get better at singing and a way to challenge myself to get the pitch right on my favorite songs. I go through the entire intro and go to sing a song and I get bombarded by a screen telling me I have to pay $120 bucks for ‘full access’ to be able to sing the song. Here I am thinking ‘dang, that’s a bummer. Oh well, I’ll find a different song.’ But NO, you can’t sing ANY of the songs without full access. This app used to be free, apparently. Why did they change it? At least have SOME songs that are free! This is one of the only apps I can find (since I’m a stinky Apple user) that has this format (where it listens to you sing and shows you if you’re too high or low and also lets you adjust the range of the song). It would be great if it could just be an app where you could learn how to sing better. I get that they need to make money off that, that’s fine! I just wish that they’d make a section with free songs so that those of us who can’t/refuse to spend over 100 bucks on an app could be able to use it at least a little bit!

This app is not for everyone. I had got this app because I love to sing and I was trying to find a fun karaoke app. And when I first downloaded it about two years ago it was completely free but the only problem I had with it was that u couldn’t search up songs so your options were limited. Then I deleted it because I just found myself not using it as much because I was getting bored of the same songs because there was no search bar. Then maybe a year after I downloaded it again hopping it would update the search bar and when I came back they completely updated it and they would ask why you used the app your favorite genres are etc. But when I got on I noticed that there was a search bar things to improve your voice and even go deeper like open up your vowels and even warm up’s. And then there was a part to get you started with lasted two lessons before it asked to get premium then I stoped so went to explore the rest of the app when I realized that everything else you do it not free anymore I could understand if they want people to pay but making me think I could play for free really broke my heart. So yah they basically get you started and then it’s technically not free anymore

Pls do it for the people who don’t have the premium subscription. App doesn’t seem to work. I’m an experienced singer who recently lost his vocal coach so I decided to try this app just to stay on my discipline. I’ve been playing around with it, admittedly for only about an hour, but it makes you pay after the intro and it is not worth the money. I can see how it would have useful tips, but when singing the songs it often just doesn’t work. The first issue was at the very start when it tried to identify my vocal range and said I was a tenor. I have been a bass for my entire life and could not sing tenor even if I wanted to. The live feedback is not consistent and has even said I’m not singing when my voice is very clearly on. I’m not sure if it just has trouble with low voices or if it can’t tell what’s going on because I’m getting over a cold but I would seriously not recommend giving this app your money. EDIT: I came back to this app a few days later to try to test it out some more. Then I stopped singing for a little bit just to see what the app would do if there was no voice coming through. It kept marking notes as too high or too low or as correct at random. This app seriously doesn’t work and if I could lower my rating to 0 stars I would.

READ THIS. I only just got the app, and once I finished, The tutorials on how to sing you can’t really get any of the songs you want to sing you have to pay for a subscription and I don’t think it’s worth the money when I could be getting another app or something for my Nintendo switch. Anyway I don’t think it’s worth getting this subscription and once you complete the lessons you can’t sing any of your favourite songs if someone has figured out what songs you can sing. Please tell me, but I will not be re-downloading this app until I know how so please take this review into your mind and think about it and are you willing to pay $100 a year to get singing lessons when you could go to a professional for a bit more, but in person

Live the intro but huge paywall. As the title says I loved the intro to the game I got a song of my choice it adjusted to my vocal abilities and I actually felt like a good singer but straight after the intro was done I tapped in the song and a banner with $15/per month popped up which was upsetting because this popped up for every song and even when I tried to redo the modules and while I get the game needy to make money a game like this has enough potential to have a split half the songs required to pay and half not because not everyone has the ability to pay for this and this can be bad because the amount of people that can’t pay would most likely outweigh the people that can so by having a paywall like that this game significantly drops the amount of people that would be using it

It’s a great app but still developing. I probably wouldn’t have done an annual subscription if I realised there were no more lessons in the learn tab. I want to learn how to do different harmonies etc not just practice singing. It is a great app and very well developed and everything works great I just hope they release some more lessons soon. I also hope they add more Christian songs as that’s what I want to practice - I like how they have request a song feature

I would give it 5 stars if…. I would give this app five stars if you’re actually given a selection of songs that you can practice. I’m a kid and I’m saying… how am I supposed to pay for premium. Literally all you have to do is add a selection of songs that you can practice and maybe make premium $10 AU that is all, you have to do to have this app blowing up!

Songs. Hi there simply music, I would get like to ask if you can make some of the songs available to play and sing to without premium. I can’t get premium so this would be really helpful for those like me who can’t. By the way, this app is amazing though, I Liv that you get step to step tutorial on how everything works and tell you your vocal rang.

Disappointing. I love the intro and I was getting very excited to be able to have free singing lessons but then my excitement blew away when the subscription came up… I mean like come in there are people out there who have the potential to be like celebrities singers but they don’t have the money to get them there this app could help make opportunities for children and adults in those positions. Instead of locking then whole rest of the app after the intro how about you lock some things like maybe a few songs and stuff so that you can still learn whiteout haveing to pay. You guys can do better jam disappointed

i’m disappointed. i came across this app on an ad via instagram. i was so excited to see what it was like because i have been struggling to find some kind of teacher or whatever to help me get back into more serious singing. i was blown away with how awesome this app was during the tutorial. i did each and every exercise that they showed. it seemed great until…. yeah. you guessed it. you have to pay. i downloaded this because it was never mentioned that you had to pay and honestly, that was a waste of my time. i’m actually very upset about this because i was really excited and already planning my schedule for when to do the exercises on the app. i am not one to do reviews on apps but, this one just had to be done. i am extremely disappointed.

Sure pay for this trash like it’s gonna do anything to help u improve?. I got this app before around a year or two ago maybe and then deleted it because I barely used it and then got it again and I’m just amazed by how the turned a decent app into whatever this is the voice range adjustment didn’t work and nothing fit my voice. during the practice it kept interrupting me and I had to restart the song but I had to watch the cringy videos again over and over like I hadn’t just seen them 2 minutes ago and once it let me choose the song I wanted to try then just the rest of times it just chose for me randomly. Also the lagging which never happens to me I have no problems with lagging on my device but then I open this app and just no- I had the worst experience and then I just didn’t want to continue this but it came up telling me to pay for this trash like no u should be paying me for wasting my time. I don’t recommend to anyone my friend had the same problems and she was sad because she loves singing and she was great honestly best singer I legit know lol but this app was terrible we both deleted it and we’re never looking at it again.

Great teaching. My daughter has learned a lot of different song or sounds she can make while singing we even planed for her to go on stage for her birthday which is December first. Thank you for the support that you have given my daughter to sing and sing how any other singer can. She has always wanted to sing And go on stage but she never could because she didnt have enough effort too sing in front of random people she didn’t know now she can sing in front of anyone with no help at all. Good but not the best. I downloaded SimplyPiano and then it showed me SimplySing I honestly love singing so I downloaded to it was the best. But when it got to where you can choose a song sing along with you you had to get premium and if you try to go on the the next level you also had to get premium. If you love wasting money on apps and games then go ahead get it but I don’t recommend getting it.

Good but one problem. This app is good at teaching but there are not enough songs for people that haven't paid I just got to the song library and I tried to sing some but I couldn't because I had to pay. Please add some for the people that haven't paid for the app.

Terrible- you can’t even sing a single song without having to pay for a subscription. I tried to redownload this app on Christmas Day 2023 and I was shocked to see how the once free of charge vocal lessons and songs were unavailable unless purchasing a premium subscription. If you’re wanting to waste money on enjoying an app for the first 7 minutes of “getting introduced to singing”, then I highly recommend!! Otherwise I suggest that you continue to combs through the reviews on some other singing apps because this one just won’t do! Although the coaching lessons can be slightly helpful in improving understanding of singing and vocal range awareness, this is short lasting as the videos and exercises are limited. Last time we downloaded the app, my daughter and I enjoyed using the app to sing our favorite songs (or at least the ones we could use without paying 15 dollars a month), to enjoy time with each-other. Now after a recent update, no songs can be played for free and we now rely on simply king karaoke for family Christmas carols. Thanks, but please consider giving us the opportunity to at least sing some songs of modern age and popularity.

To expensive. When I first downloaded the app, it was pretty good. I made progress with the tutorial and it was all going pretty smoothly but after I finish the tutorial, it wanted me to pick a song of the selection of songs. They had when pressing on one of the songs, a banner came up and wanted me to pay premium just to be able to sing any of the songs. In my opinion, the premium is just a waste of money, considering that there isn’t a lot of songs to choose from, and in general, the premium is just too expensive. People may not be able to afford to buy premium would rather just save or spend the money on something else more important. In general, the app started off okay, but as I started to make progress and get to that point, it’s really just not worth paying the premium to sing songs. For now, I’m going to delete the app because at this point it’s either pay or do nothing more And it’s really just a waste of storage. So in future, hopefully they add more of a selection of songs and hopefully actually be able to sing those songs without needing to pay the premium.

Trashy and useless app. I downloaded it to listen and sing to the songs, when I started it told me to do these useless lessons that we can’t skip. I was fine but it wasted like 20 mins of my time, when I FINALLY got access to the songs, I pressed on a song then it just popped up a subscription page then I pressed the “X” but I just went back to the library page then I tried countless different songs but nothing seemed to work! This is a waste of time and does not even let you listen or sing to the music like the ad told us! THIS IS HONESTLY A WASTE OF TIME!

This could’ve been the best app I’ve ever use I can’t Believe I just got it. This is the best app ever I recommend anybody using this it really helped me I’m not even joking faking this The people who made this app like simply piano and simply draw I also recommend those apps that will really help you work so hard and improve your goals without instant feedback to help you get better and better each day about improving yourself the developer who made all of those apps I said The match that would work for best for everyone can instead of just following instructions of how to do it you can do it they help you do it and if you don’t follow the correct instructions I recommend this app seven stars if I could but they could only let me do five stars I honestly i recommend this app

What a Hoot!. I’ve been learning piano on Simply Piano for years and loving it and just started the singing app today. My voice is not the best but I’m having heaps of fun exploring it and can’t stop dancing while I sing. It’s a hoot!!! Thanks simply piano folks. You’ve captured my heart again. 😍💝

What is wrong with this thing?. I just decided to use it today. I deleted it at the second stage because it would not pick up my voice. I knew my device was working because I checked it and recorded my voice to make sure I was loud enough and tried multiple times but it wouldn’t pick up my voice. If you don’t want to waste your time don’t download this app. There are other ways you can learn to sing. I have tried other simply apps they are mostly scams.

Great concept but not enough lessons. There is a subscription paywall, but I decided to give it a shot and subscribe for one month since I enjoyed the intro singing lessons, however once I did subscribe and the “paywall” was gone, I found out that there wasn’t even that many lessons available yet. The lessons are great however there are only two module: “Getting started” and “Discover your voice.” Apparently “new lessons” are “coming soon” so if you do plan to subscribe to this app, maybe wait a year or two (or more). It is fun to practice singing to the songs with the visual feedback but once again, you’ll need to subscribe to a plan to unlock that feature. I won’t recommend anyone to subscribe to this app until it is more developed with the lessons. It’s not really worth paying $15 per month with no updates on when there will be new lessons for you to actually learn from.

SimplySing. Amazing app I love it it helps so much definitely get it it’s amazing it helped me sound so much better and I’ll hitting so many notes you can give feedback and I did and I came back to it they actually listen it’s so fun and entertaining pls sponsor.

Good but i can’t pay this is unfair. But for other reasons, I would highly recommend.. My daughter loves this app she tried the first bit but then she came up to me saying mummy can you please pay so to improve can would you please be able to make it free she really wants to learn how to sing it’s her dream and she is very disappointed please if you could change that but otherwise it’s amazing if and if you can’t make all the songs free at least make a few songs free she was getting really excited, but I would recommend and shoot me and my daughter were extremely excited excited to learn how to sing for free but then this came up please if you could fix that thank you.

It’s good but not clean. I played good 4 u but is was not clean and It said the swear out loud. I would have made it a 1 star but I like how it has the tuner it really helps. Also the adds make it look great, I like the lady singing amazing grace, it really show that it is a good app. If you could maybe add a few more touches that would help ALOT of other users like what I am gonna tell you. Also I am Australian and it does not understand the notes. To solve this maybe add what country the user is in at the start so it can understand the user. Don’t get unless fix. So I was perfectly fine with the app like it got myAdjustment voice and it was all fine until I tried getting the songs and I keep on doing it and it said $15 per month not paying so I tried looking at every other song and it still wouldn’t let me pay. I had to get the premium like who the hell download an app and then doesn’t even get to use the songs. Please fix PS only get the app if you want to pay $15 per month

It’s a scam. For real the pay wall is bad sure but what people don’t talk about is how it’s just straight up fake. Ive used the app and thought it works fine. But it doesn’t even go along with your voice properly or maybe at all and it just pretends to stuff up or miss lines. I might be wrong about it but see for yourself sit in a room with no noise and the game will play and correct words and whatever it does and even without u talking. I’ve realised you could just talk in the tone it needs to work but it’s super dodgy and bad to me MAKE A REAL FREAKING APP!!!

Feedback. This app is amazing! Would definitely recommend, however I’ve been reading through reviews and I havnt come across anyone with the same issues I’m facing. Whenever I try to adjust the vocal range on a song there is no button to confirm/save the range I’ve chosen. It just says cancel, I believe the button is underneath cancel but I cannot scroll down to press it. Would love to be able to change the vocal range, thank you for your time :)

Could have been a tad better. The only real thing missing from this app is the fact that you can’t hear yourself singing it and you can’t download the song you are singing either or give yourself effects to it like a normal karaoke app…I understand this is a learning experience but I’d still love all the karaoke app experiences for it as well

This would have been the best app ever but…. The good part about this app is it gives u a tutorial on how to use it and everything, it helped me find my vocal range. If only they didn’t make it so u had to pay for premium just to sing songs and do the rest of the lessons. In my opinion I think a lot more people would install this app and rate it 5 stars if you could do all the lessons for free, cause then they could sing along to there favourite songs using other apps or when there listening to music…

Without subscription it’s nothing literally you get nothing. I’ve been on a search for a free singing app that has no need for a subscription, and I thought this was the one. my brother use simply piano and loved it, but he never told me that he had a subscription. I was able to get a subscription I would, but I’m only a kid. I’m just a kid that has a passion for singing. But after I unlocked the song library I couldn’t do anything not even continue the tutorial. I really hope that I will find a free singing app so I can just sing for fun. I wish simply sing developers weren’t just money hungry. The search for a free singing app continues.

Great app but a couple of issues. 1. It would be great if the songs were clean. I accidentally swore because the song wasn’t clean. Besides, this app is for ALL ages. 2. A search bar would really improve this app. It would be much easier to find songs. 3. It would be great if you could record your singing as well and listen to what you need to improve on. So hearing your own voice would really help as well. Other than a couple other minor issues, this app is AMAZING and I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s reading this review.

This app is great, it helps improve. This app is such a good way for new singers to practice or to improve, it has many ways you can adjust the music to your singing level and it has many songs to choose from. There is one problem that I do have with this app is that the notes do not listen properly with my device, I am not sure if it is my speaker or the app, but it does not affect my improvement because it gives me tips on how I could try and hit the notes and timing better and it also asks how I liked singing the song. I think if you are a beginner to singing or you just want to improve your singing, this app is a great way to do so😁.

So glitchy. This app has the potential to be amazing but it freezes all the time. I constantly have to force close it and restart it again. I have done all the updates for both the app and my iPhone and still it freezes. It freezes when trying to remove a song from my playlist and freezes after ending singing a song in my playlist. As you can imagine singing a song, then going back to the library to choose another song to sing and having the app freeze each time is very frustrating.

Great but than failed. This app was great I felt like I might have a chance to sing better but than it popped up with $15 per month subscription and because I’m 11 I can’t pay for that and my parents won’t pay it for me to learn to sing to I tried the song library and it kept on popping up with the please pay $15 so it was great until it would not let me do anything unless I paid the $15 so I deleted it.

Would of been good but you have to pay. It seemed really good and I was really excited to start, I finished the tutorial and was happy that I could finally play songs I liked until, I clicked on a song a pressed the big button assuming it would take me to the song but instead to came up with buy premium. My smile quickly faded as I couldn’t find any free songs at all, giving the benefit of the doubt they might have some but either way it’s not easy to find or clear. Would have been good if they even had a few songs but sadly I’ll have to delete the app because of its prices.

Amazing. Everything about it is amazing I never knew my note was the highest. I discovered a new person in me and went to singing studios and made my own song for fun. And the app is so amazing. I would sit her and talk about it for hours but there is waaaayy to much 😂. I made a second profile for my 5 year old sister and she was an Alto. Was so fun. Definitely improved my singing. Amazing app, all haters I don’t know what y’all talking about.

Love this. This app is amazing and is currently really helping me but for anyone who’s gonna get the app once u get past the basics 99% of the songs u need premium for which I find really annoying because I honestly love to sing and to not be able to do more than the beginners warm up’s all day really annoys me, I would request to SimplySing that can u please add some more free songs, but other than that it’s a great app and is helping me allot

Why can’t I hear my singing. I now it’s in development but I really think it would help if we could hear our singing. It’s would be amazing and a great feature! I would definitely change this to 4 or 5 stars with I could hear my own singing. It’s the point of the app to help us sing but I can’t improve if I don’t know how to improve.

Don’t get this app. The only reason why I got this app is to improve my singing and I feel like I can do this. Without this app you can only sing a limit of songs I can only sang with tree songs in recording . Then it made me get premium. If I don’t get the premium then I can’t do anything else with it. I have to subscribe and get the premium this cost $14 dollars a month! So this game is a waste of time. Don’t get it!😤

Such a great app highly would recommend. It matches your tone and you can change the tone and pitch seeing if you are a soprano and attitude and it’s just so good if I was you and you read my review I am telling you get it it is the best of my singing teacher says it is the best thing for me to have personally because when I’m at home I can just practice but the only thing is I would just say more songs that’s really the only thing

Nice Intro but bad paywall. The intro is really good but most people wouldnt want to pay $200 a year. i do singing lessons in person and i just wanted an app where i could sing any song i wanted with my vocal range without having to pay which was fine until i unlocked the songs library and i couldnt do any without paying 200 a year. songs should be split half pay half not

I was originally excited…. So when I got this app it was great, it appeared to be an app that allows you to sing your favourite songs. I pressed on a song and a banner came up saying “to play this song you need to pay $15 a month”. So I continued scrolling and found out that you need to pay for almost all the songs on here! I was genuinely upset to find this out because not everyone wants or cannot pay this price. This app has great potential but if you could lower the amount of songs you have to pay for in this game it would be great. Please reply. Thank you

It needs work. It’s a nice singing app. Took me a long time to find this that actually has the singers from the song singing, to help you out. But it needs a couple of changes. It needs more variety of songs for one. Another is that the accent changes are annoying. Thirdly, it needs to be labeled more clearly, when it comes to setting the vocals correctly at 0, rather than it be at -6 or something. Currently, it’ll have these little dots telling you what the original setting is. That’s just too confusing

It’s ok. I tried this app using my airpods and it didn’t work well since the app wasn’t hearing my properly. I also tried without them and it wasn’t much better. Based on other reviews I’ve read it’s very expensive. Having to set a vocal range was difficult since I have a rather small vocal range and having to keep adjusting it to my own range on every single introduction stage was not fun. It’s a decent app but not the best.

It’s a good app a little buggy though. So I saw this on a Facebook ad and thought this seems interesting because I use SimplyGuitar it started well then the bugs rolled in, there are a lot of songs and artists that still need to be added and a lot of work for this app to be decent. I’m glad you don’t have to pay money for any of the training at the minute that I have discovered with simple piano and simple guitar which I kinda think is a little ridiculous But if you can fix those blasted bugs, then I think this will be a great app for now I’m leaving this app with a three-star rating and will be deleting it, but will re-download it once they are fixed and possibly re-use again

Seems amazing but is too expensive. I was so excited going through the intro, but just as it says “you’ve unlocked the library” the subscription button comes up. I acknowledge music royalties are expensive, but it would be great to have a small library available on a basic free plan, where we have to watch ads. I would be recommending to everyone if that was the case. I just want to be able to sing along to songs on the radio well not start my pop career. Sorry, I’m just not going to pay $200 a year for that.

Pricing. This is a really helpful app for people exploring their vocal range, while also trying to find out what their voice can handle. This app is very clear and straight forward on the basics on how to sing and improve. The only issue I have with this app is that you have to pay to use sadly…

Premium. I feel like paying just to be able to sing along to songs is a bit of a stretch. It does help with your vocal abilities, but after you get to a certain point, you have to pay for premium to be able to continue learning.

Just charge the fee upfront. Wasted all the time getting through the tutorials to "unlock" the app, only to find that everything is blocked behind a paywall. Just add an upfront subscription instead of a free app that requires payment to actually use anyways.

Good app, but. There’s no trial. Also, It seems like a very new app. It’s good, but I do wish there was a version where there is No background singer at all. Sometimes they sing higher and it messes me up. I also like the learning section. I wish there was more. I also think there needs to be more variety as I don’t know a lot of the songs and I’m bored of the same songs. I wish it could record you actually singing. The play back only shows the notes you hit or missed. I also wish the songs would automatically adjust to what your fav tempo is. All in all I like it, but I would will only do the month subscription and then I’ll check back in a few months or more to see if there’s any updates .

Not Worth It. Look, the app is great, the first few lessons show you how to figure out your range and control your breathing and whatnot. However if you have any proper singing experience already it isn't that helpful. In my opinion, there are just too many premium features and the subscription is way overpriced. You cant even sing anything in the song library or do any lessons past the intro lessons without paying $25 a month. I personally feel that it would do a lot better if either the premium price is lowered or if you are able to do more than just the first 5 or 6 lessons/able to sing some songs from the library. The app is good if you're looking to acquire basic singing knowledge, but I wouldn't recommend for anything past that. If you're looking for more advanced singing knowledge I suggest just taking private lessons as yes it is more expensive, however you would get a lot more out of it because there's an actual person who can identify what you're doing wrong and that sort of thing. Anyway yeah, it's a decent app just not what you want if you are looking for singing knowledge past the literal basics.

Fun,easy,money. If you’re looking for an app that is fun to song on and easy to use and learn with this is for you however like every other simplywhatever app you only get a few begginers lessons then you have to start paying for the other courses and to learn songs. Although you don’t have to pay much it is still hard if you’re a kid beacuse you have to convince your parents to pay. Overall its pretty good and easy to learn with whitch is the point. I would rate it 5 stars if it wasn’t very laggy and if you didnt have to pay.

Subscription required. The only part of the app that doesn’t require a subscription is the tutorial. Everything after that is behind a pay wall. Don’t bother downloading unless your willing to ditch out $12 per month.

Fun and helps improve singing but doesn't really do a good job at finding your range. Pros: Pretty fun, helps with range, little ads, little lag Cons: you can be a great singer and do bad or a terrible singer and do good just because it expects you to get every note bang on, its way of finding your range is bad. Said I was alto but Im mezzo. Id suggest singing and speaking the range test then trying both or choosing something between them

Cool app. The app was amazing, but I would like it if you could have a search bar and more songs. Just as an idea, if the user searches a song that isn’t on the app yet, you could include a screen that says, “ sorry, we don’t have that song yet, try searching another one while waiting for this one to be added!” Or like “we don’t have that song yet, but if you go down to the bottom of the song library you can suggest a song we can add” just something along those lines would be great, then it would be a 5 star! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Useless. I wanna say the beginning gives a nice impression of a digital teacher. But when it comes up to real songs, they sucks. The adjustment to your vocal range is kind of bad. Yeah the songs sounds awful. The music sounds awful. It’s much better to practice with original songs to feel the notes then to orient on these lines in the app. So basically this app is useless.

The apps cool but…. When I downloaded the app and got started it was fun and unique but when I finished the first singing part all of a sudden a subscription popped up and then I couldn’t do anything at all in the app witch is not fun at all.

What does a subscription include. I have no problem paying for a subscription service but I have no idea how the app works after the first couple lessons. I have questions like how likely will a song get added to the library if I make a request and how long will it take to get added? I can’t talk to any support staff so no one to answer my question so I don’t feel comfortable subscribing.

No Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift is the best singer I found some other singers I like but no Justin Bieber or Taylor swift

Mid vocal recognition. Absolutely ridiculous. Can’t even see if the app is good or not and they are trying to get me to sign up for a year. Would never give this company a dime. I am professional singer I thought I would have some fun but this is beyond my level. If you want to learn to sing I would choose any other way than this app.

Not worth the money. This app baits you in, saying you need to upgrade to get more songs and the rest of the lessons. You get the first lesson free, which has you sing a couple of songs. Once you do pay, there is only ONE MORE LESSON, and maybe 100 songs, not worth $20 for one month let alone paying $120 for the year. It says “more lessons coming soon” and my subscription will surely be done by then. I am just glad I didn’t pay for a whole year since this is super misleading and not worth the money. Also, the app has you sing and rates how on time and tune you are, and I often see it tracking my voice incorrectly, it is also supposed to record you so you can play it back and hear how you sing, this function only works some of the time and the recording quality is terrible. It would be fun for a cheaper price, but I expect a better product with more content for the price.

Restricted Singing. I was very excited to download this app to improve my singing abilities, however the is extremely restrictive about what you can sing in your voice type. By that I mean you literally can’t sing any of the songs in this app’s music library without going through a $20 per month paywall first. How can you expect anyone to pay for the app when they can’t even do this basic thing that they downloaded the app for without first paying? That’s like if Tinder made it so you could set up your profile for free but locked the ability to swipe right on potential matches behind a paywall; it makes zero sense and is just more likely to drive people away. To add insult to injury, the ability to link you own music to app for your use is possible, but the link button doesn’t work, so you can’t even use the songs that you’ve already paid for to practice your singing. Until/If they fix these things and let us actually sing before we decide to spend money on the app, I’m not giving them a dime.

Great but needs help. I loves simply sing I think it could really help me with my singing. But I think that the songs should be free and if not there should be some songs that should be free because the intro got me really excited but then when I realized that none of the songs were free I was like oh I don’t wanna pay for this at all so I think that you guys should definitely make your songs free because some people can’t afford it and after that big long intro like you tricked people because I thought it was gonna be free like I saw all the songs and I was like oh my god this is for you I’m so excited! So yeah I think you guys should definitely make your songs free or if not just some of them free but other than that I think that simply sing is a very good app and I think it’s going to help a lot of people improve singing so just make some of your songs free you you’ll be good!

Don’t Pay for Premium. The lessons are really good and engaging on this - incredibly helpful. Then, at the end of “getting started,” you get this “continue with premium” button implying paying for premium will let you access more lessons. It DOESN’T. Getting started is the only lessons they have. They do a lot to imply they’ll be adding more content soon, but I’ve been paying for like 3 months and they’ve DECREASED the available songs and got rid of the practice and warmup function (which seems dangerous!) If there were actually extended series of guided lessons and a larger library and these changes weren’t so unpredictable, it would be worth it. But right now it’s just deceptive. Also tends to glitch with turning phone sideways and not picking up notes; additionally the range detection consistently wants to place me low (it wants alto and I’m a mezzo) and even when I override it and set my correct vocal range, the auto adjustment of the songs is still too low for me.

Uhm, it’s fine but why do we have to pay??. I love singing and I want to get better at it, I don’t get that they changed it so now we HAVE to pay to literally SING. Like can you just change it so you don’t have to pay to sing? It would be way better if they let us sing with the music and help for free with all the songs in the world. Like I love this app but what’s the point in having it if you can just search up a song on a music platform that is FREE and teach yourself to sing then getting your hopes up. If they have the app to be completely free than I would love it and give this app 5 stars then not even 2 stars because I can’t even sing any songs and I can’t even sing the song that I want. So can you please put a lot more songs in the app and make everything free? Because no one wants to pay for so many things for an app that someone loves but can’t even really use? This is so frustrating. Simply saying is an amazing app I love it I do, but the fact that you go through all the courses in the warm-ups and learning all the stuff just to figure out that you have to pay $10 a month to sing some of your favorite songs and just any songs in general and just upgrade to more stuff. It’s absolutely ridiculous when they’re giving you the warm-ups and everything in the ads they make it sound so free but then they make you pay for premium. It’s not like you even have the option to opt out like they literally make you pay for premium just to sing songs at your level I downloaded this app to be able to sing songs because I’m an alto and my voice is a fit to every song but just to find out that you have to pay for this when it didn’t say anything about it makes me so upset.😤😠😡🤬

Poor Description/pricing. The app is pretty good I’ll give it that. The quality behind it and goal however there a lot of flaws. First off if it going to Cost it needs to put that upfront, I rather download a free app and then open to be told I need to pay for a subscription rather then start training then everything locked within five mins. Most apps like this will atleast have some free songs and stuff. Nothing is free after you start no songs no training nothing. To pay for it I get especially for the class part. However I can’t pay for every kid that much money for a subscription. It one of those if your going to pay for it ensure you use it. If your already taking lesson classes don’t pay for it. Next off it doesn’t hit pitches right even when you are just to much money especially for the bugs if I’m learning elsewhere I don’t want to pay

Great But Expensive. I’ve only been able to figure out my vocal range. Everything is too expensive and it’s honestly not worth it. Just FYI to the app creators, you’re losing customers because of the prices. I think- if you’re going to charge money- that you should have a premium but still have songs (and some lessons, etc.) available for free. That way customers like me won’t quit the app after two minutes of use. However, from what I was able to use, I noticed that it could be a great app. Not worth the price but definitely an app I was disappointed at deleting. In addition, from previous old reviews I have found out that the app used to be free with ads. I would MUCH rather have ads to watch than pay the money. Because of the price, I didn’t get to know the app so that’s really all I know. I think, if I remember correctly, it’s $120 for one year.

Wow. Okay like wow. So I literally didn’t know that much about music. I honestly thought there were low and high note singers. But back to the app It’s fine. But like I have no clue how to sing and I’m pretty bad at it. And there need to be more guided lessons. The songs are pretty bad. Just my opinion please don’t kill me. So I’m a Christian. And I really only listen to Taylor Swift(because she seems not to cuss a lot in her songs like Good 4 u and other songs I shouldn’t be listening to) and gospel songs. There was a gospel song option. I picked it and it all Olivia Rodgo (bad speller) and like that’s basically it. But there was encanto. So as a Disney fan I liked that. So yeah. Great app. Just not enough songs for my taste. Oh. I forgot. WHY ARE THERE NO TAYLOR SONGS?!?!!?? SHES THE BEST SINGER!! Bye Srry for ranting. Thanks if you read all this

Get this app. This app is amazing!! I’m a beginner looking to improve my vocal range and understand music a little better. While using this app it has showed me my natural range and how to improve upon it, I haven’t gotten very far in the app but so far I love it. I had downloaded smule because I saw an add but I quickly realized it was crap. As soon as you finish one song they make you pay for everything else I spent maybe 2 minutes on the app before I couldn’t do anything else absolutely garbage. But SimplySing is fantastic and I’m using the free version, once I finish the tutorial I’m going to get the subscription they deserve it. Thank you for putting love and effort into educating the masses with a simple and easy to follow singing course. Much appreciated :) -A new lifetime customer

Too Much…. This app is horrible. Here is my entire experience: When you first download the game it shoves in your face forsfully premium. It hides the X in a small corner. It’s just like ALL the simply instrument games…… Then you watch the first video. Is looks pleasing. Then the next few lessons just get more and more boring. They try to teach you common sense. They say too much information. Here’s and example: What normal people would say: I love cookies! What simply learn says: My favorite food in the whole world is a type of bread, it was made by being rolled and put topppings, It’s a cookie! Then after all that mess you see your profile. You tap on it then customize. It’s fun, but it does nothing. One lesson after that you have songs! You are excited. You click on it, hopefully you can play some! No. It all costs money. EVERYTHING COSTS MONEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY STOP, SIMPLY PIANO, SIMPLY GUITAR, SIMPLY SING……. if you want more people, LESS MONEYYYY

It’s all about money.. I was so excited to finally use an app to help with my vocal range and singing because my family can’t afford to pay for a tutor, so when I got it for free I was so excited. I started the tutorial and it was going smoothly, and when it I was able to play songs, I was excited to start singing songs! But I was tricked, I had to pay money each MONTH to play a song. And at first, I thought it was recommending me to buy it but I said no so I clicked the song again and it said it again. So I read it and it said I had to BUY the premium to play songs. Every song on there needed to have premium. This app is lovely but it is cruel to just say, “Okay now you have to pay to play songs.” Cause it all goes back to money, and me and my family are in a tight spot with money and are trying not to spend it on stuff we don’t need. So I had to delete the app. I am not pleased with this. I am very sorry to the creators but this is t just gonna work for most people sometimes, including me.

It’s amazing but- -. It’s AMAZING I only saw it as “let’s try it” and now I’m obsessed but, since I can’t subscribe, I can’t do the rest of it.. I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to do now…?😢 I’m only 11 and I don’t really know what I’m doing when I’m subscribing?? I don’t even know what it does or why I’d do or if it’d affect anything like an account or something like that so, I don’t usually subscribe, but I really like this app and I’m not sure what to do now..the subscribing is the problem now unfortunately, I don’t want to get into trouble with my parents for subscribing because again, I don’t know what it does, but if I did know how it works, what to do, and what it does, then’d I think my parents wouldn’t care and I could subscribe and continue playing, but seriously, I don’t know what subscribing is, how to do it, or if it’s affecting anything I have!!!😭😭

Too Expensive. Overall this was a pretty good app. I have big dreams of being a singer, but I’ve always been told it’s impossible. I’ve also been told I have the voice to do it, but no access to anything or anyone to get me there. I have high hopes, but it seems pretty impossible. Obviously when I saw this app I was amazed and downloaded it. I’m always looking for ways to improve and expand my range, so it looked perfect. First few lessons were great, even though I already knew it all, it was good practice. When it unlocked the songs and it cost money I was VERY disappointed because my family doesn’t have the money for that. We are struggling to even buy groceries and pay our bills and there’s just no way I could ask for that of my parents. I’m gonna have to delete it. Anyways, great while it lasted and if you have the money it’s a great app.

Please read before getting. So i love how its free (unlike other simply apps) but all of my favorite songs aren’t really on there. Why the heck is drivers license not there?! It showed it even on the app!! I have lately been practicing it and it’s my favorite song but Its not there!! I only got this for two reasons 1: to get better at drivers license. 2: for improving my singing. I want to be on Americas got talent some day so I’ve been practicing. I also have some songs to recommend. 1: This Is How I Learned To Say No. 2: DRIVERS LICENSE!!! 3: Taylor swift songs. Also it rated me “Soprano“ when I KNOW for a FACT I am low. I’m bad at singing high pitched. But I would never ever EVER stop using this app if you upgraded it and fixed these problems even WITH ads!! Please read!!!

Hard To Tell…. I thought the tutorial in the beginning was pretty neat and was excited to work more on my voice. Everything was working great and smoothly! That is, until after I purchased the premium and the functionality immediately deteriorated. I have restarted my phone multiple times and restarted the app. I have no issues with any other app. As soon as I pick a song (from the limited selection of songs I don’t particularly enjoy singing), I change the pitch to fit my range, and then when I start the song, it reverts back to the default. Then I have to change it yet again, and when I do, the bar no longer tracks… where it doesn’t even pick up my singing. I have to restart the app multiple times to get it to function. This is giving me a headache, not to mention the price. Did I get suckered into purchasing only for the quality after to be mediocre? Seems that way.

It’s okay. I honestly got excited and was really looking forward to betting my singing. I do it as a hobby but it would be nice to grow and maybe even be more on a professional level at some point. The app has some really nice features. It’s easy to use and all but the fact that I have to pay to pretty much to anything after a certain point was a miss for me. I understand paying helps developers with the app and anyone else that puts their time and effort into building the app but I do also feel like there should be some free services available. At least something but there’s nothing at all. Everything I select brings up the prompt to subscribe. It’s not expensive but I still think there should be an option for those that don’t or can’t pay for it. I’m also the type of person that prefers one-time payments. Because, should I forget to cancel the subscription, no one is going to care but the end user because they’re paying for it. I also wonder if this is one of those subscriptions that if you cancel earlier (namely so you don’t get changed for the next month) if it’ll immediately cancel/stop your access to the features. Anyway, I think it’s probably an app that can really help. Maybe down the line I’ll opt for the subscription but just not now…

Used to be much, much Better. I used to love using this app to tweak my notes. Started grad school so stopped doing this for a bit. Went back but now it doesn’t work effectively. I thought it was off since it thought I was an alto before, which is actually what I am, and now it thinks I’m a tenor. As far as the app not being able to tell validity of notes and words, I tested it by going to the train track and played a song, letting app listen while the train went by. It was funny to get 87% accurate. I tried my daughters phone to, and it was the same result. I guess it could be iPhone, but it’s doubtful. Also, I had to go through a tutorial twice just to sing and there is not nearly the amount of songs there was a year ago. The karaoke site I use works better… Positive is most of the words are correct, the song speed seems correct, and my young nephew thinks it is fun…

THIS IS AWFUL. Hey, I am a singer from 10 to 11 years now and I saw this app on an ad. I thought it be a cool thing to try so I did I know my vocal range already since I’ve done this for so long and simply saying had a literally completely ruined it, and change the song so much and it was kind of annoying to go back and keep changing the song. There’s a lot of things that didn’t work for me like I’m getting to change this song range for one ,change the song range completely number two and everything was paid and I mean everything! Literally everything I need to pay for example the vocal exercises, song library and other “ perks” the app “offers”. Most of the core things in singing like placement, acknowledgement of the diaphragm, and other things that I’ve seen over the years that I’ve made a huge impact on my singing I don’t know how other people say this app works but for me it’s a complete flop . I know for some people getting the same classes hard but this app is not an alternative!

It’s good but more lessons. Ok so everyone else’s review is true ish but I have back round from simply piano. I like this app and it makes me sound better with great courses. The thing is that there’s only 2 courses and then they say new courses coming soon but, then if you bought the subscription it’s a waste because you are wasting your subscription waiting for new courses. But otherwise this app is great because there’s no ads and the teachers are good along with the songs. Speaking of songs another reason I gave this 3 stars is because they need more songs. They said it will come if we suggest but it most likely never will. Simply sing if your reading this consider fixing what I said and if your a user don’t buy a year because it’s not worth it because I got my 3 month for a sale of $20 so wait for sales like those .

Disappointing. I think this app is great for a blooming star like me but I’m really upset because you only get five lessons free, which are introduction lessons. Also, the app has a song gallery and songs fit for me and myfellow mezzos. I think this is great, but all the songs I have tried cost money and I also think that getting subscription is not worth it because the song gallery doesn’t have most of the really popular songs, like what?! And for someone who has just started college, I don’t want to waste the money I have on something I don’t need and only want. So I would give this app a 4/5 because I love the concept but I also think 20 dollars a month is ridiculous. Developers, if you are reading this, please consider changing your price plans.

Good app…just a bit disappointed.. I downloaded this app because I grew up wanted to become an actress wanting to be in movies like Millie Bobbie Brown, Bryce Papenbrook, etc…I wanted to start off with learning how to sing, and learn how to sing in perfect vocal cords. The app first started off with having me sing a few words to see what note range I was in…(I got alto!) and I was satisfied with it, and did some more of the lessons. But after the app supposedly told me to “learn more lessons,” and “unlock songs” to “practice,” I was kinda bummed out to realize that I’d have to pay for the subscription in order to learn more…I appreciate half of the lesson, but I found it a bit unfair that I was told to subscribe to the app in order to learn more. I really hope that you can notice this, and try to make it a free app…I know it sounds selfish, and I know it sounds like I’m being dramatic, but it’s very hard to find apps like this just to learn how to sing.

Great concept, wish it worked. I really like the concept of the app but it is still fairly buggy and doesn’t pick up audio well enough to actually decipher it. I know my pitch is slightly higher than what it suggests so it’s a little annoying to adjust it for every song. And there are times when I’m singing when it doesn’t pick me up at all followed by times where I am not singing and supposedly singing perfect pitch. If the app actually worked properly I would probably use it consistently everyday despite having to pay for the subscription. Please fix these bugs. If they were fine, this would likely be my favorite app. I love music and singing but have never been musically inclined and I like the concept of being able to sing my favorite songs and not strain my vocal cords in the process. I also wish the song selection was bigger but that wouldn’t matter as much if it actually worked.

It’s fine but not worth the price. As someone who is very young, i wanted to work on my singing because I would want to be a professional singer when I’m older. I found the app in an add and decided to download it to improve my singing. With this one, once you do the first part, you have to pay to use the app. And personally I don’t think it’s worth the price. It’s 10 dollars a month for an app that does teach you how to sing, but probably worse then a real person. If you are trying to get good lessons worth of the price, then this is not for you. Since I am really young, I also cannot pay the price even if I wanted to. (Even if I could afford the price, I wouldn’t pay for it. Id instead get real voice lessons.) most people that get this are probably relatively young. I know that all apps are gonna have to make money some way. Although I don’t think that this is the right way to be going. After only the first part you can no longer use it without having to pay. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

READ THIS! Seriously READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I only gave it five stars so it would show up first. After a few minutes of using this app and really liking it, I unlocked the library. I was like yay!! I was so happy. THEN! IT SAID I HAD TO GET THE PREMIUM! The premium cost money and if your thinking for kids and teens who want to chase their dreams and get better at singing so they downloaded this but they don’t have money to pay after they did the first few things in the app and loved it. It must be heartbreaking. Seriously at least let the kids/teens to get it free!!!!! I mean it literally ask for your age so if someone is younger than 18 or something let them use the app for free! They don’t have money!!!!!! Seriously!!!!! Stop smashing kids and teens hearts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst app ever. This app is terrible, you get the first couple of lessons free, then you have to pay a monthly subscription fee just to learn how to sing! I wouldn’t recommend this app, Skillshare is a much better app, idk if it’s free cause I use my mom’s account (I’m 14) but this app is stupid! You can’t take any lessons or use any songs without paying them! And you have to pay $9.99 a month just to learn to sing! On Skillshare, you might have to pay, but you get so much more than just singing. You can learn so much stuff on it, Idk if it’s free cause, like I said, I use my mom’s Skillshare account. But, you get taught how to do anything by professionals! You wanna learn to play trumpet, there’s trumpet lessons! Wanna learn to paint like a pro, art lessons, there’s singing lessons, lessons on how to play an instrument graphic design, art, dance, and so much more! I’d give this app (Simply Sing) a 4/10, it teaches you how to sing kinda, but you have to pay. And I’d recommend getting Skillshare! And not paying so much for just one thing

A lot of things are super annoying 😡💔👿. Okay I know you are probably not reading this but if you are I am going to list some things that are really annoying about this app 1. After they teach you like how to breath properly and stuff you need to pay for the rest also all the songs through premium which is really annoying 2. The song library has barely any good songs and half the songs you have never even heard of and the songs people actually do like are not on there making it annoying for example my favorite singer Taylor Swift is not on there at all and right now it is the eras tour where she is bigger than ever and she still isn’t on her and random artists that I doubt anyone has heard of are on here 3. If you are on an iPod you can’t adjust the pitch manually since they don’t shrink the screen so it is to big 4. If you practice with this and sing with your friends who don’t practice on this they will say your voice sounds off pitch because of it

Okay but. Hi 👋 So I was watching my brother play a game and it said that simply sing 🎤 was free. I was so happy so I bought it. When i finished first level it said unlock all the songs you love. I didn’t want to waste money,so I skipped it but couldn’t. So I deleted it and reinstalled it. But still said the same thing. Not being mean but could you make it free like it used to. And please read all of our emails because you barley read them because nothings changed no offense. Loving this app like it’s family. So, im 12 years old, okay? I really love music and I even sing in children’s choir in my church on Christmas and Easter. But, im always so self conscious about my voice… so a teacher at my school was offering piano and voice lessons and so I am taking them (To bad I don’t own a actual piano yet, if I did I’d use the SimplyPiano app.) but the lessons got cancelled recently. I had taken at least one lesson so I already learned proper posture (I also know how to play the flute and I learned good posture in band while learning how to play). So this app is absolutely perfect because of the certain situation I am in. Thank you so much for making this app, it’s a actual dream come true!

I love it. So fun doing simply sing because some of my favorite things are singing but my family says shut up so that’s why I downloaded the app because I can sing in my room quietly and no one will tell me to shut up so that’s why I like SimplySing because I always love singing my whole entire life same with piano same with guitar those are a lot of things I downloaded simply piano simply guitar and simply saying that you are the only ones I’ve known so far far so I like them a lot if y’all make more like this I will really like to to do more just you really need to make more than simply guitar simply saying simply piano and if you really like to do that I’ll be really thankful and I really like that you guys made this app just because I really like it thank you bye

Great start... but now what?. I downloaded the app and got through all the first things well. Warming up, posture and breathing, and hitting notes. But once I unlocked the song library... there is NOTHING else to do as a free to play singer. I tapped song after song and couldn't even find ONE it would allow me to sing. I understand having a mass of songs locked if you want people to pay, but there's literally nothing to do. Zero free songs. You are *forced* to pay if you want to do anything with this app past the first 15-20 minutes to get through everything it starts you off with, and for a broke student, it makes the entire process pointless. This is an amazing app, and makes songs adjusted to your voice right at your fingertips within seconds, which is amazing don't get me wrong. But having zero songs for a free to play singer to use? That was my dealbreaker for the app.

Starts off great, goes down hill. I got this app because I want to try out for a musical that is happening in one year. I wanted to improve so I had a chance at getting the lead. The app started off great, I was pretty great with the pitch and I was excited to get started practicing. I press on drivers license and it tells me I needed premium. So I thought maybe for the more popular songs it would do that. So I pressed on everything I saw, and I searched things up and it still requires premium. I was extremely mad because I don’t have the money to pay ten dollars a month for this. And the thing is, I can’t even advance in the app because you have to practice 2 songs to keep going. So basically it’s really just a tease and then begs you for your money. I read the reviews and everyone was saying it was free. This made me incredibly mad and disappointed

I love the app but a few suggestions. Simply seeing is one of the best ways how to get your voice ready again but as you saw in the title there’s a few suggestions that I might add… See maybe if you put more cartoon songs and TV songs in there that would be a lot helpful and some of the songs cut out most of the parts of songs which I’m totally OK with but if you have time and you feel like this is also a good suggestion maybe put the whole song in there! :), But it’s also a really good app because it controls how loud or how low your voice is and you can adjust the voice level so if it’s too high or too low you can always make it to your voice level. I don’t have a bunch of time writing this though but I will definitely tell all my friends about this app, have a nice day! 😊

Not Great. I had high hopes for this. I initially tried it without headphones and it was naturally picking up on its own music, so I threw my AirPods in and that somehow made it worse. It just didn’t register my voice at all a quarter of the time, half the time the pitch wouldn’t adjust. I even tried going as high as I possibly could, far above the recommended pitch for the note and it would still register I was too low or on pitch when I very clearly sound like a chimp ready to go to war. Additionally, there’s no actual feedback, which I guess should go without saying when you have a virtual tutor. It’s just like “do this thing. Okay great. You did it”, without any way of knowing if what you’re doing is actually correct. The price for the monthly subscription is fair if the app works fine for you. I’ve cancelled my subscription and unless proper AirPod support is added I won’t be returning.

Idk how to feel-. I think this is a great app in progress but there's a lot of work that needs to be done first off I love the fact that it's free which is amazing and how it tells you if you are anywhere from a Bass to a soprano but It’s not that accurate…It might be accurate for you but it told me I was a mezzo in reality I’m an Alto...😅 so it gave me songs that were too high for me to sing and whenever I tried it again to see if I could get Alto I still got Mezzo and the song variety is very small there is not a lot of songs to choose from (or at least the songs I like) and whenever I tried to sing the app would always freeze while I'm in the middle of singing which was very frustrating and I ended up deleting the app bcause of it💀 Pleaseeee fix this app it has so much potential 😭

Very Interesting. Wow, how do I put this nicely? A bunch of TikTok songs and only one Adele song. A bit sus. Also, this is 100% a karaoke app. It’s like the old PlayStation games where you had to try to match your voice to the bars which are 1:1 with the guide voice or original singer. No room for stylistic variation and actual personality. Both of those things are also allowed when learning to sing mostly because imitation can hurt your voice over time and your ability to use it (creatively) as the instrument it is! The lessons are… not justifying the premise of this being a “learning” experience. I know we are in the era of 30 sec videos but you will not walk away from this knowing how to sing. You may be more confident at the karaoke booth though. And even if you do feel like this app taught you to sing, it’s fine because everyone will enjoy the outcome, for sure.

Really good! Just needs a bit work. I really liked the app and how it showed you how you did, The songs were very fun to sing and I am so glad I got this app! I think my singing might have gotten better too, but there are things I should note. One is the microphone needs work. On one of the songs I turned my microphone on, but it was glitched and didn’t move. I had to close and reopen the app again to fix it, it also normally doesn't catch my notes right. Another thing is that it showed me that I was a tenor on the voice test, but when I did it in a super squeaky voice, to my surprise I was still a tenor, so maybe fix that? Overall, this app is really good, needs work but at the time I’m writing this, it’s relatively new.

You can’t use anything without premium. I Downloaded this app because I want to improve on my singing. The first course is free but as soon as you unlock the songs, you have to subscribe to premium to actually be able to sing them. I was a little upset when I saw this because I can’t pay $119 a year for singing app. You can’t even do the second course of lessons unless you subscribe. I’m sure it’s a very good app if you subscribe to premium but some people just can’t afford to spend that kind of money on something like this and I really think you guys should make it free. When I saw an advertisement for the app I got really excited thinking “yay there’s a singing improvement app for free”. I took first course of lessons, got fitted for my voice. Come to find out I can’t even sing the songs. So if you’re not looking to pay a lot of money for this, then you really shouldn’t download it because you will be disappointed. Which is really sad because I had high hopes for this app.

I don’t know what title is. The best and I love that it doesn’t push you to the limit but it helps you find where you really need to practice on like songs and I really love that like push you to your limits and makes you like one you quit I wish I just want because it gives you a lot of options and I totally recommend this. If you want to get a lot better at singing, it does help me so much and I just started like a couple hours ago and I can’t stop like I really didn’t addiction, that’s my review you have to get this you have to get this like I can’t. I know this is really really long but I just dropped this like I can’t stop it I can’t stop playing on it.

Look. It’s a good app but.. I used to love this app before. They had the subscription because you could sing as much as you wanted and sing to your favorite songs BUT. They added a subscription so NOW you have to pay just to sing the songs I would recommend this app but not anymore. The subscription is literally 9.99 a MONTH. And I don’t have that money! Plus you need to think would you use this app all the time or time to time! It’s likely some people have deleted the app because they didn’t use it! I used to love it but now I hate this app because of the subscription and Yes I know that they need money and stuff but they could be nice and let people use the songs without the subscription! I’m really upset about this I hope you change the subscription to the songs because it sucked when I couldn’t sing my favorite song.

Is good. simply sing is an amazing place to learn your vocal range in the songs that put into your vocal range but after you do the introduction and you try singing songs in your book, arrange you have to pay for the songs to be in your vocal range I give to pay for any song that you think so honestly, I don't think it's worth a purchase and defective to pay to go singing in your own vocal range The introduction is absolutely amazing. It's helpful in treating your breathing. Your posture and your vocal range for me and I'm a soprano so I seen those high note those high songs as he knows and basically what happened was after I was done with the introduction. I try to sing one of the songs and it said I had to up date to the premium so I don't think it's worth the purchase you have to pay for every song I like you have every song but you have to pay for it

needs more work.. I don’t like this app at all because when I was just trying to sing a song I just unlocked the songs right and they say no you have to unlock this premium to sing this song. I am so mad right now I don’t like it so they need to fix this bug or a problem because I can’t I just want to sing and get my voice range, higher, and all that is not working at all so you need to fix this, but I am deleting this app until this perfect fix I cannot believe this I just wanted to sing and then this app doesn’t want me to sing my favorite songs. So whatever you see in this game don’t download it if you want to just waste your time because all they’re gonna do is just make it to the first warm up over and over and I don’t want to do the first warm up over and over. I already did it so fix this please cause what if a four year old asks their mom Pop to buy this THIS IS 10 DOLLARS.?

I can’t have this app😭😭. So the problem is that I don’t have enough money. I thought this singing lesson was finally free because I don’t have enough money because well on my credit card I don’t have much on it. I am nine years old. I am a tiny kid. Well, not a tiny kid. My parents consider me as a teenager well, anyways I have to rate it that I’m so sorry, but I don’t want to keep paying for stuff because then I won’t have any more money and my parents won’t have any more money either and I don’t want that so I have to delete it I don’t have no choice. I just need like a free singing teach app. I really need it to improve my singing but sadly I can’t use you guys even though you have a very good TJ it cost too much money for me. It might not for others but to me, it cost too much money so I might have to let this one down and keep it a three star. Sorry.

Why. When I got simply sing, I was so excited. Hopefully you were teaching me to get better at singing but no I can only do one practice song no songs at all because you have to pay $12 monthly fee. He even get it I mean because like I got it for free, but you have to pay $12 to even open a song you can only do one practicing and it’s the same practice over and over and it’s so boring I just like cancel just get the songs for free like it did because I had it in like 2020 didn’t like 2021 and oh no not 2021 I had it in 2022 and I could do all the practices I want without paying like $13-$12 a month but now I forgot that it was there and I open it up and I have to reboot it and it says you have to pay $12 a month to even get a song open to sing a song and to do other practices it’s annoying like why can’t y’all go back to 2022 were you don’t have to pay at $13-$12 fee a month really please just go back to that we don’t have to pay $12-$13 a month

It is really good for teaching you to sing but…. It is a very good app that helps you what vocal range you fit into and to stay in tune but once you unlock the actual songs that you can sing, you have to pay for subscription and pay about $10 per week and they say it is for 4 year olds, yeah like 4 year olds have bank accounts were they can pay 10 dollars per week. Also the ads are really fake. They are fake because it the beginning it starts off we’re the actor is purposely off key and singing to high then when they change the range, they magically are able to sing perfectly on key when they just move the only slightly down. I would recommend to use this app if you have enough to pay $40 per month. It is very good at teaching but just expensive.

AMAZING just FANTABULOS!!!!. Omg this app!!!!!! It's Soooo good and I know I sound like in being dramatic with the title and what I’m about to write right now, but this app is amazing like simply studing!!!! OK first things first it found the Perfect 💯rang for my voice I mean yeah some notes I can't sing YET but I bet this app will help me be able to sing those high notes second l ok yeah I just downloaded this app like ten minutes ago but still it's AMAZING I sang two songs 🎵and I obviously know that I'm not perfect but I feel WAYYY better sing this app is Perfect 💯for me BLESS that game that I was playing bless you for making this app pop up I really do hope that is review can help this app get more want to be singers. Oh!! And remember to always read the reviews I wish you could do 10 stars cause this app would so get it!!!!

Liked the app but wish it was free. I kept seeing ads for this app, and I honestly wanted to learn to sing, but it was just for fun mainly when I first started the app I thought it was good and I also thought it was free until I saw the songs when I clicked on one of them I’m like ok maybe I have to use the free one so then the premium users get to have their own but no all of it so I tried going back but to realize you have to buy the whole entire thing just to learn how to sing or learn how to get better at it but my thing is how are you gonna advertise that how it’s fun and how it can help anyone but not everyone wants to pay for something that they know they’re probably not even gonna use honestly and I also heard that it was free before so I don’t know why they changed it for people like me who don’t want to buy anything or don’t wanna waste their money on this type of things. Or maybe I’m just being cheap.

Really worth the price?. I only gave this app five stars because I want this review to be see I saw this app on an ad and assumed it was free ( no price was named in the ad) After looking over it the price looked cheap in the category below. It advertised multiple different prices and was a bit confusing but I thought I was gonna be paying 4.99 a month every month separately not 60 dollars at one time. ( If I don’t like the app after paying the 4.99 I can stop using it) After downloading this app and seeing the track and songs separately I assumed I could at least do the track before deleting. But the track stops working after the part about singing on key. I have on other complaint surrounding the range, yes there is a limit to how high or long you can go, I am a soprano who hopes to learn to hit a whistle note. this app limits me to less than how high I can go already. I had a friend who also tried this app, her range is less noted than this app lets you put on your range. I can hit Soprano, Mezzo, and Alto. She was an Alto. Disclaimer: I never purchased the premium and am writing based on the songs and range finder in the intro chuck, before premium.

Read this before you download. Almost if not nothing is free. It looked like a cool app when on the ads (that’s the point but the app was the exact same). The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Gave me good tips on singing and adjusts songs or recommend songs for your voice. Being able to easily change the pitch to sing a long better and to mute the singer so you could hear yourself better. But after the first warm/ intro, everything else requires premium. That includes songs and warm ups. I don’t understand why the warm ups have to cost money. People downloaded this app to learn how to sing. When I got on, I was excited because there was a lot of things I wanted but couldn’t do yet with my voice like running. My mom and her side of the family and a few on my dad side have a great singing voices and I so happened to inherit that. After the first warmup, you have to pay 10 dollars a month to not only get songs but to also get the rest of the warm up. I was incredibly disappointed because all I was doing is singing yet I have to pay for that. Tbh this ain’t the best app for singing unless you want to pay 10 dollars a month. This is one of the goods app for karaoke tho. Imo the warm ups should be free along with a few songs. Or keep the warm ups free.

I Really Enjoy This!. This is one of THE best Singing apps I have ever gotten! The format and how the songs are categorized is really good! In the beginning you answer some questions to see how experienced you are (It does need your email). Later on, you get to pick the type of music you listen/sing to! After, you just have to say the words it shows on the screen and it will give you your voice range. For example, I’m a mezzo soprano. After, It will change the songs to match how high or low you should sing without straining your voice. Then once you get started it has a ton of songs to choose from! (Not all tho) If it doesn’t have the songs you want just request a song! Just like the title, You can Simply Sing! Sincerely, Simply Sing Fan
