App hangs at launch IOS 10.3 (fixed). I just purchased and tried to launch the app. It does not fully launch. 10.3.3 is as far as i can go with this ipad. Looking forward to fix. I have Brazilian, Mid-East, and Soft Drummer. They are all great! Very responsive developers. IOS 10.3 issue fixed. Many thanks!

sound module does not produce sound. I have several of your DMs and would like to use them as sound sources. I enabled Sound Module. I can see my midi keyboard as midi in and have verified its use with other apps. midi channel is set to 12. I have verified midi message sent to channel 12 on note D2 which shows on midi map as Tom1 but no sound is produced.

Just great.. I’ll admit it, I’m an appaholic, but it does help me appreciate a useful app that works because I pretty much buy all the music apps Available for IOS. This app makes great backing tracks, and jams really, really well. Great stuff.

Go for it! The Sounds.......ahhhhh.. Using it in Garage band . I listen to Jazz and prefer the 40’s and 50’s Jazz . So many choices here and broken down nicely for a beginner like myself. Beats are built and ready for use and easy to add and subtract specifics. This a large vocabulary here and sounds are beautiful . Just the right amounts of reverb , pitch attack and decay and many ,many adjustments for those who are in the know.

Great app. Great sounds, great patterns…. I’m using this app for live performance. Lots of variety in beats and sounds. The learning curve is not steep. There is tremendous flexibility for tailoring your patterns, mixes, and intensity/jam levels. Adjusting the trap set accompaniment on the fly is easy, once you surmount the learning curve. Again, easy to learn, easy to use. Does what it says. Stunning.

Great to jam with but needs documentation. Got this and Reggae Drummer at about the same time. They really are a lot more fun to jam with than typical drum machines. That said, I feel like I’m probably missing a lot because of the absence of documentation. For example, it took me watching a video regarding iBassist to figure out how to sync the apps. I’m also at the point where my interpretation of the jam controls is essentially just more means more stuff going on. (Knocked this down from a perfect rating for the unlabeled controls in the jam page. Familiarity with Reggae Drummer offered clues but I disliked guessing in an otherwise polished app when there was obviously space available.) If I want to move past playing with the preset patterns, some guidance would help.

Great app, wish it had midi in for sound module. I love this app and use it a lot but I really want to try different grooves styles with other midi generators but somehow LumBeat removed access to the sound module in a past update. Please add this feature back in.

awesome. Lumbeat apps inspire me and make me feel happy. Some of the most human sounding jamming available in ios. Solid 5 stars when Lumbeat enters the AUv3 realm. They’ll be unstoppable at that point as the worst part is the lack of state saving in host or ability to stack instances of their drum apps

stunningly real AND fun. The sound quality and features of this app are such a joy to experience. I love the 2-D slider, the pads, the richness yet clarity of design. honestly the only way I could think of improving these drum machines would be to include a humanize timing setting. Seven stars.

Over the top!!!. This is the most comprehensive acoustic jazz drumming app I’ve seen. It’s perfect to practice with as a drummer or melodic instrumentalist. I love adding it as a slow ambient track with delay to give the impression of very random fluid acoustic drum set with a free jazz feel. Saving up for the lumber bass app now!!! This app is a bit pricey but worth it!!!

Needs instructions. Has potential to be an invaluable resource but if I need a masters degree just to understand to to use it then I’m just wasting time.

Get them all. You may as well get all the Lumbeat stuff now. You will eventually....

Great program but there was an icon of ibassist with a create button next to it ....now I cant’ find for the life of me how to get it back???.... enjoy all the drum programs....also,am trying to get the free extra sounds Any help here? Re-creating the create button?it goes in the blank spot above new groove and randomize

I have purchased the two extra drummers and highly recommend this application for producers and performers of jazz and contemporary music who wish to have a great toolkit for accompaniment tracks and demos. The possibilities are widely unexplored on my part, still, and this is what I was inspired to share. Thanks for a great app at a fair price. Excellent value…priceless really.

Great sounds but limited use. This could be the best jazz drums app ever with a few useful additions. Please add (1) auv3 option to play within GarageBand (2) ai based intelligent tracking of a midi track (say, bass or piano) (3) variation buttons to press in real time for switching rhythms/styles and injecting fill-ins. Hope to see these features in all the other apps.

speechless. These drums are breathtaking in quality. I’ve had some world class drummers flip out over the tracks I come up with; solely using lumbeat drum apps. Buy them all! If you want real drum tracks these are untouchable. And these apps won’t try and steal your girlfriend!!! I’ve been waiting for years for this app. It’s surpassed all hope in ease versatility groove and sounds. The sounds are world class on their own merit. Thank you yet again for a beautifully human machine. I could only give five stars ... or it’d be many more. Amazing !

Very clever. Good grooves. I'd have given five stars but the MIDI learn feature crashes instantly every time on both of my devices. I hope the dev gets it worked out but in the meantime back to jamming along with this impressive app. Impressed.

A great practice tool.. I am learning to play a seaboard and puma tone at the same time, and this, along with Reggae drummer really keeps my rhythm together. These are really well written apps, logical, clear and very musical. Not a cheesy track among them.

Awesome Drums. I’ve been working with Jazz Drummer and iBassist for a few days now. Learning to send MIDI from NaviChord via AB3 and AUM into iBassist. So far, so good!

no documentation makes it too difficult. The app is complicated and expensive, so it’s outrageous that there is no documentation anywhere. How can I get my money’s worth if I can’t figure out how to do things with it?

Lumbeat does it again!. These apps are all amazing. This one has some excellent new UI features to really liven things up. Really enjoying this Jazz Drummer from the get go. Still haven’t even tried the other 2 drummer styles in this one, the default style is so great.

Extremely underrated. No one is without excuse, get inspired today.

Terrific practice app for musicians. Really impressive drum sounds, great variety of grooves plus the ability to program your own, and options to customize fills and create longer arrangements. This app is great for practicing any instrument, and with a little programming it can even serve as a drummer for a jazz combo rehearsal or jam session. It has crashed once or twice on my iPad Pro, but I’m still really impressed and recommend it highly.

My Favorite App. As a bassist, I have been searching for drum machine apps that double as true practice tools and compositional devices for a long time. In my opinion, many seem to fall into one of the two camps. Jazz drummer excels at both - all through a solid, intuitive, and extremely deep interface. It also integrates seamlessly with GarageBand for recording ideas. Worth every penny in my book. Thanks Lumbeat!

App crashes every time. I have bought 4 of these Drummer apps: funk, soft, Mid East and now jazz drummer. The sounds and beats are awesome. Not very user friendly. There are a couple issues with the apps loading from GarageBand correctly…and Jazz drummer crashes my iPad every time. I have used it every day for almost a week now. I would like my money back please.

Absolutely love this app!. I am 61 yrs old and have loved music all my life. When my peers were all listening to hard rock I was into jazz and fusion. Upon purchase of this app I immediately found a new musical resource for the toolbox. Add to Soft Drummer the iBassist app and you can spend hours upon hours going down musical paths you probably never thought possible before. Having the extra drumming styles takes an already powerful app and transforms it into a powerhouse. I recommend that you not wait to download this app. Any hesitation is only preventing you for a truly joyful experience. And don't forget about the iBassist app to take your ideas even further.

Killer!. Dev did an amazing job with Jazz Drummer as with all of his apps. This is easily my favorite drum, improvisation instrument at the moment. Really, really insane and fun. Highly recommend.

Great Sounds!. The app is great if maybe a bit overwhelming for an older traditional jazz player. Working on connectivity and midi things. I have most of Luis’ apps and they are a great in their genre. I use these apps now for recording my own backing tracks. I often get comments from drummers about the great grooves!

Another amazing lumbeat gem. I love all of the lumbeat apps, I use soft drummer extensively but I wanted something more fluid and jazzy and this app really fits the bill. All the functionality I expect from a lumbeat machine but the jamming is off the scale with this one.

Great. An excellent fun jazz drumming app

Top-of-the-line drum app. Most professional.. I have most of these expensive drum apps because they’re pricey but terrific. Tons of variety possible. I am not tech-savvy, however, the app is easy-to-use (with the presets). Wish there was more support instructional tutorials (for example, on You Tube). Most professional sounding drums. And features let me dial in elements of a real human playing; including feel, variety, fills, etc. Worth the high cost. Love this app and the other Lumbeat drum styles too.
