It’s pretty cool.. Seems ok so far. I’m testing a few. Sounds better than some out there. Hoping to unlock some features to see if it’s worth buying.

For the beats. This is really only so I can get more bars per time BUT in all honestly i do really like the app even though im doing this for more clicks it works well and is good to play to

Free Version Annoying. Literally made the free version so you could get a "Lite Version" message every time you want something outside of like two choices. Very annoying at minimum. When apps do this I end up with even less incentive to purchase them. Maybe provide at least quarter functionality rather than 5%.

Great app. Gives you what you need as a backing track for simple writing or just getting ideas. Easy to use!

Odd Meter. This does odd meter without restrictions to a few preset time signatures. There are some good sounding kits, and it works for what I need it for: a metronome to help me practice odd meter rhythms and know when I’m off.

Great sounds!. The lite version is a little limited, but the sound quality and functionality seems great. I’ll probably buy the full version.

Kids will love it!. I can't wait to use this with my middle school band for our scale warm-ups after break! It will make a seemingly mundane warm up for them a lot more exciting!

I LOVE THIS APP. At first I thought it was just going to be like any other metronome app but it most certainly was not! It’s sooo easy to use even for the most inexperienced person! I use this all the time when playing a new piece!

From simple to complex!. This is an all in one drum beat app! You can create a simple beat or a very complex beat. It is easy to learn and use.

Great everyday tool.. Very customizable and easy to use. There are a lot of choices from bpm up to what kind of sounds you would like to hear.

Lumbeat put drum apps on the map. They put drum abs for iOS on the map. Did everything you can buy them? Yes you should. Soft drummer is the best of them all and this one is more than handy being an excellent metronome rhythm buddy when playing guitar, keyboards, or other accompanying instrument

Easy to Use. This has really great sound and it is easy to get started. I found a variety of beats right away and was able to customize patterns from the start. Very good tool for stylized practicing and fun to play along with.

Amazingly Powerful for the basics. this really is a good onramp to the rest of the Lumbeat products in that it is simple enough to get your head around the basic concepts without needing documentation. I reccomend this as the place to start getting into the fascinating Lumbeat pile of products.

Nice but limited for free version. I enjoy using this to program beats for practicing, but constant messages requesting to upgrade are intrusive. you can only use three beats as well.

Good enough. I love this app because you can get different beats and sounds. However, the free on only gives you 16 beats and then youhave to upgrade (which is usually money) or write a review. So this is what I am doing now. Hope it is worth it.

Very nice tool for musicians!. I’ve used a few other metronome applications, free versions and were not impressed! However, this metronome has the feel and sound of a drummer/drum machine and is helpful when practicing actual songs. I look forward to using full version in the future!

Easy to use. Easy to use no adds straight to the point

Solid metronome. Tap tempo is very usable. I've been using it to figure out BPMs for temporary music placed in films that I have been hired to write original stuff for. Since the video edits are done to the temp music, it's important for me to get the timing right, so the edits still feel right.

after trying a bunch, this one might be the one!. basically a feature rich metronome with a mini drum sequencer UI. super duper easy to use!

I love this app. Very cool drum machine that I use to practice my guitar and drums to. Easy to use and the price is right. This company makes the best drum machine/metronome apps available IMO and I plan on buying more from them as soon as I am able. Till then, this is by far better than anything offered by the other companies.

Great app for Drums. I could play for hours with this app! Does way more than expected. Clean and intuitive interface that allows me to just create killer drum beats spontaneously. I much prefer this interface over the other app. Support for (external) MIDI clock sync would be very useful.

Sound is all. Hey so this metronome ain’t so simple and might take a minute or twelve to figure out, but meanwhile just check out the sound. Listen. It sounds pretty dope, yes? This sound quality makes up for the limitations of use. Very accurate tonal quality for a thing that could just go tick rock. Rock it out but in time! Timing is great to have, like imagine if we bought Apple stock way back when? Meanwhile playing music is where it’s at and this app helps. Even if manuals are rare.

How many metronomes do you need?. Apparently more. I just downloaded this one from From the advice of a friend. So far so good. I haven’t really dug into it yet, my DAW has a simple one that I use, but I can see where this could be more fun when practicing. The UI looks sharp and seems fairly intuitive. I did see a groove button, not sure yet what that is all about but I’m guess you can add some swing to your loop. I’m all about feel and swing but that defeats the purpose of a metronome. Still a cool app. Thanks for making a free version.

Yup, it's good.. 5 stars... Why? Because Lumbeat don't put out the dookie, and frankly, the decision to start my program fresh using all their products proved to be the hinge pin in my success in composing and performing live. I will always recommend their apps and never hesitate to give Lumbeat the credit it deserves for consistently releasing the best performing, most interesting and USEABLE software I can find anywhere. Oh, and... PS. Ever rocked one of their drum apps at 130db with a sub and two towers on a 2000w clean system? This s..t sounds DOPE!

Good Beat. I’m in middle school and I gotta do a fair few of playing assignments. To be honest, the lite version of the app is good enough for me! I’m pretty much just writing this so that I can upgrade to 32 continuous measures, but I have to say; the freedom of the app is wonderful, and I enjoy that the lite version still gives so much.

Hippest Metronome Ever. The sound and feel of this makes me want to buy their other Lumbeat offerings! It’s certainly worth a try!

Good app. This app has many features to choose from, the only thing that it needs is more drum sounds

Beginner. Just starting to learn program. Should give you more than 16 bars to play with on free version. I would love to see if I will be able to record acoustic guitar songs to Music Memo using these beats. Don’t know yet. We’ll see! Having fun so far.

New to this. I really like was I see on this app. My biggest challenge is getting to know how to make the best of it. As an old timer, I wasn’t born into tech use and is more difficult for me without specific instructions either by text or visually. Maybe someday soon I will get savvy enough to make a purchase.

Nice app but free version limited.. I like the features of this app but the free version is limited to 16 bars then asks you to upgrade for $6.99. Can get up to 32 bars if you write a review. I am writing a review let’s see if I can get the 32 bars. Will possibly pay the $6.99 later after using it for awhile.

Great Sound/Options. I tried a few other apps but they seemed a bit more like toys, they lacked the realistic sound and feel that this app has. I play guitar and wanted to have a background rhythm to play along. Thanks!

Trying to get a feel for it. I am trying to get a feel for the app, but it seems like every 2 mins it’s asking me to either purchase the full version or to write a review or tweet about it. So therefore I am here. A bit bothersome that you can’t just actually gets your hands wet without being forced to pay or review. So I can not give an honest review for something I haven’t been able to experience.

Works well!. I like this app as it works well. I like how the beats are visual squares and you can change them.

Just not metronome, its drum beats factory too. I used to not install any metronome app, but I pressed install since it was free, but now I guess dat was my luck. Very happy to get, but have to explore whether it can export midi or audiobus or core-audio support.

Rocking Metronome. Rocking Metronome. Love the ease of use and the simplicity. One thing is missing that I hope they implement in future updates. There needs a Ghost note level fir snare. The two level don't cut it and it has Funk Setting. Hopefully they'll ad a third " Quieter Snare ," or Ghost Note volume level. Otherwise the app is slammin'

Drum machine metronome!. This makes playing with a metronome fun. But it also allows you to set up grooves, accents and other musical situations which can be really helpful features for a getting the most out of a metronome.

Sounds Good So Far. I just started using this app. I did buy another app and am a bit sorry. While it was only $4, so far I like this app better. It's just that the other app had so many good reviews. But it did not have a free version like this. This app sounds better and has a richer tone. I think they should give you at least 32 beats with the free version then you can test it out properly. But they do offer it to you if you rate the app. I gave it a 4 star for that reason. Also, you can try it out enough to understand if it what you want. Give it a try!

Lumbeat Drummer Type Metronome. I own Rock Drummer by these guys. Super good sounding. Mine is quite old. Now that I have a new Ioad, will probably buy new version (yea, it $18, very expensive, but has tons of new features, so Im giving this metronome gizmo a try. Sound great so far, hope it has rap tempo! Thanks

Great for lessons with students!. We’ve been using this backing track with jazzy pieces like Christopher Norton’s Rock Preludes and it makes them more fun to play!

Great Practice Drum Kit. For any drummer wanting a practice partner. Helps you rhythm and keep. A must have tool for all beginners and experienced too. Nice addition to your music making studio when using with audiobus. This is a great partner for the musician needing a rhythm section for practice.

Great beat box and more. So many good things about this app. Multiple drum sounds abound, flexible tempos, progressive BPM, cool look....you can stop me anytime! Give this one a try and you will agree.

Great thus far. This app is very powerful for drumMets, especially while on the road and don’t have time to make a beat. Even tho I don’t find making a beat very hard, this app is just clutch for on the fly practice\warmups 👍🏿👍🏿

Good app, except for bar limit. This app was exactly what I was looking for a metronome to click on only some of the beats. The only problem is there’s a limit of 16 bars before it stops and you have to pay for premium.

Good but.... This is exactly what i (and probably what you) need the only thing is that it keeps asking you to upgrade the app like every 20 seconds and its super annoying so thats why this app isn't getting 5 stars

Dig it!!. So far it's the most user friendly version I've found (for what I'm looking for). Basically a programmable drum track to practice bass playing with.

Cool metronome. Limited measures. Drum sounds are pretty solid. Love the step sequencer and the accented sound option. Wish the free version had a few more features, but the worst is the limited number of measures you can use the clock before buying it

Great teaching tool. (Lite version) I really like this app. I use a similar system to teach basic drums and this helps my students hear the rhythms to play along.

Metronome with an inspirational beat!. Totally awesome customizable drum beats. Finally a metronome with some bite and realistic drum sounds. To live is to play, to play is to stay in the pocket; with this app you can count on it.

Sweet so far. Different sonic options make it a lot less stale than most metronomes. The control of beats in different bars is pretty cool. More control means more learning curve, but this lite version lets you test it so why not.

Great metronome. This is a great little metronome I always tell my clients it is imperative to practice to a metronome before recording as it is the only way to ensure great results and this little app makes it easy

Good app. This all is good for giving you a steady beat to follow and also gives you ample time to follow along and also you can change it up with the speed so you can vary from different levels of ability so overall this app has done really well in that department

Nice sounds for a free app. As a bass player I am always looking for the perfect practice app. The sounds and feel here are great, needs a 3rd level of accent I reckon, so hi hats can vary a bit more. Other than that, all ok!

Kids love it. Great for the kids learning piano, easy to use and simple to change settings. Great app overall.

Best metronome for learners of most instruments. We were introduced to this app by our music teacher and the drum sound is amazing. We use it for piano and for drums. Great for beginners and for the more advanced.

Smart!. This app is way better then the normal “Bing, Bing, Bing” of the normal metronome. This has a drumming beat. Sick!

Supermetronome groovebox. This is an amazing tool for practising. The ability to subdivide the beat in so many ways makes it a really versatile tool! I’ve been able to practise classical, swing, funk, pop styles using this and it also serves as a fantastic teaching tool for students learning the various subdivisions of a beat.

Great App. Overall this is a very handy app as it has a metronome AND a drum beat as well as other helpful features. This app was recommended by my piano teacher and has been a great help ever since. The only thing I would say is if you're willing to pay the money upgrading to the full version would be very beneficial.

Great volume for students to work with. This is a fun way for instrumental students to practise playing rhythmically. The volume level is nice and bright so even beginning oboists can hear the groove pattern when they play along with the app.

Excellent for students!. I’m a piano teacher, and I recommend this app over other metronomes. Be honest, when you’re practising scales (oh no!), wouldn’t you rather have a good drum beat than the annoying “tick tick tick” of a normal metronome? I upgraded to the paid version for the extra kits (I find the kick of the normal kit gas a bit too much ‘thud’ when played through my big speakers - the rock kit is better. The only negative: on my iPad, the tap button stops working after a while (simply restart to fix!). Excellent!

Other than that - and the fact that very little of the app works without upgrading to the full version (try before you buy would be much better, especially given the aforementioned nonfunctioning swing slider) this app seems pretty good. Well thought out, at the functional level, if not marketing.

A creative twist on the metronome. The Super Metronome is a cross between a high level metronome and a beat/drum machine. It is very in-depth allowing you to customize beats to suit your learning needs.

Great stuff, But…. Really great but I wish we had an opportunity to evaluate full option for 1 week.

Good Demo though too short. Luckily you can get twice the measure when writing a review. I still feel like I don’t have a good enough feel for the app to justify the full purchase unfortunately.

James Thunderbear. Looking for a good beat box to practice bass. Plays thru Bluetooth! Like it. Basic version is free. I ll upgrade if it still runs on iOS 7.1. His other apps look great, too.

Bad. Don’t get this you can us the met for a few bars then you have to upgrade to 36 bars or the full version and it is supposed to be a steady bet that goes until you stop it ur better off with guitar tuna you don’t have to pay and it gives a metronome that does its job do not get super metronome in general

Limited unless upgraded. It is a great app, but the reminders are relentless, so essentially you are forced to write a review or pay some cash, all is well, but prefer apps that are no so aggressive when marketing there better half.

Demo too restricted?. In comparison with the Afro-Cuban metronome from the same developer I find this demo quite restricted in the variety of grooves... The sounds are great, easy to gauge the enormous versatility of this app, but demo is not fun, so I rate 2 stars just for that. If I buy the full version I'm pretty sure it will be a five star app.

Sounds great. This is going to replace the stand alone drum machine I was going to buy for practice purposes. Nice features and very practical.

Visually clear. The layout is good and it’s great to be able to save a pattern you customize (only in full version). Good sounds.

Very nice groove box.. This is sort of better than a Metronome because it has a real sounding drum set and a bit of a groove to it so it makes it much more fun to play with them a metronome. Very appealing.

Theo’s Review. I love this app because it keeps me on tempo and it’s superfun to use. I’ve even gotten my band teacher to use it. The only reason I don’t like it is because it’s a little confusing at first.

Great flexibility; awesome acoustics.. Feed the output from this app into an audio amp and you'll hear the great acoustics and dynamic sounds. I've tried different beat boxes, this is the best rhythm app by far.

Patterns. This thing has a pretty cool arrangement. I opened it for the first time, and it was set up with 3 different percussion instruments! I'm sure this will be useful!
