Great sounds!. This app is going to save me hours of sampling and programming. I love the humanized variations as well. Everything I needed as a solo oudist.

It is not only the BEST, it is the ONLY one of its kind. What can I say that my title doesn’t already? Not only is there NO equivalent to Mid East drummer, it is the best Arabic rhythm drum machine there is on any and all platforms. It is authentic and it is extremely well done. If you are looking for Arabic rhythms this is the absolute best (and only) option out there. Only doesn't mean its better than nothing. It is not only the best, but it stands alone, and probably always will for good reason. Lumbeat makes the best drum apps, including better than Logic’s drummer.

Just what I needed.. Love the sounds, flexibility, and ease of use. Sometimes I just want a groove right out of the box. Mid East Drummer never disappoints.

The best drum apps ever created. After purchasing Reggae Drummer, my favorite drum app of all time, I have since purchased every other app by Lumbeat. I now use these apps in almost every song I produce with amazing results. It does take a little processing in Ableton Live to fix a slight timing issue (for example a 74 bpm tempo is recorded as 73.97 bpm, Ableton fixes this issue easily) but other than that they are highly useable. All the Lumbeat apps although similar, are also very unique. Drums are the foundation of any song and these apps provide a solid foundation for anybody looking to create music on iOS. These apps are customizable and complex, yet easy to use. I look forward to to all future releases and updates. Keep up the great work!

Hot Desert Grooves. All of Lumbeat’s apps are great, but Mid-East Drummer makes me want to dance, dance, dance! It’s stable as all get out, and grooves one of my faves!

Nice selection of west asian rhythms. Having a hard time figuring out how to modify provided patterns to match my practice needs. For example, a standard east european rhythm called Sedi Donka, a fast 25-beat pattern with accents forming 7-7-4-7. Not found in the MidEast catalog. It would be nice if we could easily select a basic 7 and extend/modify to fit the dance.

Amazing app on a lot of levels!. I found this app useful on multiple levels. Technical drummers working on patterns will find it useful as a tutor to teach a basic pattern by allowing you to slow down the rhythm and isolate various instrument parts to practice. Once a part is learned you can mute instruments or change volume levels and you can take over a part of the rhythm. The app doesn’t limit you like a lot of tutorials with the jam function you can learn where to insert various flair and signature patterns. It also performs like your own personal drummers and is enjoyable to set your preferences and play them for listening enjoyment. The song feature helps you learn how the patterns can be interwoven for listening or dancing. I really can’t express how impressed I am with this application from instruction to entertainment it has been very versatile and scalable based on your preference. Side note I am listening to a rhythm with 100% swing and jam intensities as background music as I write this review. I have been searching for something like this for years and I am really impressed with this application.

You can’t go wrong with Lumbeat. I get these grooves and sounds stuck in my head all the time, so I need to load this up to get the earworms out. It’s like that with their other apps I have too. Quick, simple and flexible apps allowing for instant gratification or the ability to create your own rhythms. Sound quality is always fantastic. My own wish is that these were turned into auv3. Thank you for making these!

Love it - but how do you save user beats?. love everything this developer has made so far. Super authentic sounds. Lots of patterns to work from and make your own. Just always have trouble with the save function - doesn’t work.

Great for standalone stuff, terrible for work that needs multiple apps and a centralized workflow.. The samples on these drummer apps are amazing. The “improv” too, but the composing, the beatmaking - anything needing ANY edits - is just not up to par at all. Considering we used to be able to send midi to the first apps by Lumbeat (using them as sound banks) and this option has been removed in the most recent apps they’ve released, it is clear they’ve gone out of their way to force you into using their own system. I dislike the sequencer like no other; it’s super slow to work with, forcing you to watch an “intensity” grid for seconds that obstructs the sequencer every time you input a single thing on it. Takes forever to input anything, literally a waste of time, and then it always ignores your inputs and decides to play whatever it feels like playing (even when no jam settings are being used, or fills or anything for that matter)… etc. This is the kind of app I’d only recommend to people who DO NOT want to make their own percussion tracks. All would be fine if that was the only issue, but then These are the most expensive drummer apps out there so really there’s a LOT that needs improvement to give this a good rating. Then finally, once again, the bundles are crazy. Just buy the apps separately, it literally makes no difference: today (only today November the 4th 2021, yes) we were supposed to have a 30 % discount for the bundle containing this and the Indian drummer app.Turns out if you already own one app then you don’t get the discount at all, it even ends up being more expensive than buying the other app alone... Thanks. This is great.

Confusing. The app has a lot going but it is confusing me quiet honestly. Also I was disappointed since the description mentioned Morocco, and that’s the reason I purchased because I needed Moroccan beats and instruments, but there was none, or no beats I could relate to being from Morocco. Sounds do not sound very authentic in general. Lacks authentic flair. Price therefore is too high for the value.

Drum Export. I am hoping this will get an export feature like all the other ones have now…fantastic series of drum machines, the most human like available for IOS

Super unlock. Amazing useable app but also educational, just wished it updated older apps in this series would be more confident in getting the whole collection. But undoubtedly the best app on offer for these drums.

No AUv3. I had downloaded iBassist from this developer so I naturally assumed that this app was also AUv3 compatible. I hope they update the app soon so I can use it in my DAWs. As it stands, it’s useless to me. Otherwise, it has a lot of potential. I was also hoping to find a bunch of Persian 6/8 grooves which are the bread and butter of Persian dance music. So far I haven’t found any!

Outstanding. This is a great app. I’m a beginner darbuka player and this offers excellent material to study and learn from. The sounds are tight and authentic and the whole thing is user friendly. Well worth the money! (Ps I have the Afro-Latin app too and it also rocks)

Great sounds bad naming and spelling. I have soft drummer this is just as good almost.... Pontakos should be Pontiakos and it is from Pontos or Asia Minor same place Santa Claus ol St Nick is from. It is NOT from Istanbul, Pontos is several thousand years before Istanbul or present day Turkey and much of the music from Greece has influenced the East. Amazing you have Tsamikos (correct spelling) as well as some Tsifteteli sounds Keep this one updated Would be nice to have more sounds/instruments.
