Supported file formats suggestion. Importing from google drive is great, but you don’t support their file formats... which is a pain point for me. I made the switch to drive years ago to get away from stale documents and multiple files with edits and versions to track and store... but I am forced to reintroduce that into my workflow because you don’t allow for importing of google docs. I think this would be a huge improvement and asset for your professional users! Also, support for team drive uploads would be an amazing addition as well. Drive is all about live collaboration, and team drives are where documents are stored for easy team access to living those living collaborative documents... like scripts for teleprompters. 😉

Great customer service. I love this app until I had an issue making it work with a Bluetooth pedal for scrolling (The AirTurn BT-200) So out of frustration I cancelled my subscription and I got a courteous message from the developer asking for feedback and offering help. I explained my problem which he solved right away. Not only he solved my problem, he immediately added relevant instructions within the app specifically tailored to pedal users like me. I have extended my subscription one more year and expect to extended for many more years to come. Worth every penny. This app combined with the BT-200 is exactly what I needed. I am very happy with it and I know you will be too.

The BEST TelePrompTer App. TelePrompTer Premium is the best teleprompter app sold in the App Store. Having downloaded several other apps before finding this TelePrompTer Premium I was disappointed with the competitors’ design and capabilities. As an online professor who records video lectures, TelePrompTer Premium provided the tools I needed to record professional lectures to provide my students with quality content. Excellent product, very fairly priced, and easy to use. I would to commend to anyone, whether an online professor like myself or a social media personality/ YouTuber. You will not regret buying this app!!

Perfect for Church Service Video. Teleprompter Premium really is the teleprompter software for which I have been searching. The iOS software that “came” with my actual teleprompter had a difficult user interface and poorly translated instructions. Plus, you could not just import a script (or sermon) without having to copy and paste. Teleprompter Premium solved those issues. I can easily import files and I was able to turn my iPhone into a remote in less than a minute. I had an easy time following the directions. I think users will be pleasantly surprised with the simple set-up and seamless operation. I am highly recommending Teleprompter Premium.

Simply Perfect in its simple perfection. UPDATE! I wish I could give this guy TEN stars. I ran into a problem with the app that was totally a user (me) error and Joe patiently and kindly walked me to the resolution (simply doing an update). Professional and immediate assistance. And the app is still awesome too. Thanks again Joe. This app is precisely what I needed. I wanted something that was robust and easy to use. I don't want to spend precious time wrestling with configuring an overly complex app. I just set it up, load a script and it works. Speaking of loading scripts, it couldn't be easier. The app connects to your iOS folder so all you have to do is use iCloud to upload the documents. Nice job Joe.

Customer service. Don't let the price of the app scare you away. It is worth every penny just for the customer service. We began using the app in my high school broadcast journalism class about 6 months ago and on several occasions have had a question/ needed help in the middle of class. We send an email and within ONE MINUTE we receive a reply. This is especially helpful when you are in the middle of class and need a quick reply. The app works great and the students are able to feel like the professionals with their own "TelePrompTer." We just got an iPad but used a cell phone for the first semester and it worked fine.

Great app. It's a great app. I like how easy it is to get the scripts from my computer to the app. I like how I can control the speed of the text. I like that I can make the font tiny and put it on my phone on my little promoter and still see it clearly. I can make the font the perfect size for my vlog setup. Since I'm very close to my camera, it's important to have the text narrow so that it's right over the lens, or it will look like I'm reading. This app has been perfect. I have tried this with two different small dslr telepromters and it works great! No regrets. I recommend it.

Just a touch away from 5 stars.... The price isn’t expensive if you research other Teleprompter products out there especially if you are using a hardware Teleprompter with your camera like I do. Just in the past three weeks I filmed a PSA with a Broadway star and two host wrap-arounds for documentaries with this program and set-up. If you have an iPad and an iPhone already you are nearly ready to go depending on your tasks. I use a Glide Gear iPad TelePrompTer accessory. There are small problems with BlueTooth connectivity if you let the controller device goes to sleep or if the script entered is very long. Neither problem is a show stopper. Easy enough to split long scripts into separate scenes and easy enough to reboot the program if the controller device goes to sleep. I find it best to open Word docs in Pages on the iPad and then directly import in Teleprompter Premium, gets rid of weird Word formatting that can interfere with the program. I have already contacted the developer about these issues, so we should see what develops in the future.

Fantastic prompter. Loaded on my iPad mini, we use this prompter for 5-15 minute scripts to record Bible teaching sessions for our kids ministry. Adjusting text font, size and color is super easy and after setting to proper scroll speed based on our content, we have a blast acting out our teaching moments, all recorded on a tripod mounted phone and tablet. Super simple “recording studio” equipment that we set up indoors or outdoors. I’ve even built my own mount for phone and mini iPad for my selfie stick and can do active videos. Teleprompter Pro is just the best!

Perfect for Making Videos Faster. I fought getting a Teleprompter because I thought it would make me sound robotic. The settings in this app allow you to adjust the scroll speed so that it runs at a pace that allows me to read and still speak organically. It’s slow enough that I can read but still speak with more inflection and performance into the camera. I have time to riff and improv a bit off my scripts. It’s also quick to scroll back up and redo a section of script. Highly recommend to speed up video production.

Works but lacks key features. I tried the premium version with subscription, but found it unusable for two reasons. First, While it is possible to change the font for the script as a whole, it is not possible to change the font for individual words. My work requires me to record scripts in multiple languages, some of which are not written in Roman typefaces. The inability to change typefaces on the word by word basis makes the software unusable for me. Another weakness that I found with it is that the editing interface is simply clumsy and not well designed. I was really hopeful that this would become my go-to teleprompter app, but I’m afraid that I found it unsuitable. If your work does not require that you change typefaces within a presentation, you can probably get accustomed to the clumsy the editing interface especially if you write your script someplace else and then import it. In that case this would be a very fine piece of software. So I hope that it will work for you, even if it does not work for me.

Wanted to love this though confusion w use. The app itself is ok. But the in app purchases, especially when wishing to buy the video promoter tho getting something else was madness. Even more maddening when trying to tell this to the creator via email who instead of listening to feedback he just never would see the in app purchasing is confusing and problematic. Buying the other TelePrompTer video instead based on poor customer service alone. (Folks the response from the developer below is simply a lie. He never once offered me a refund. He said u can try apple though no promises. I have an email exchange of at least 4 deep that will show his lack of compassion for the confusion his app and his exchange created. I am putting together a screen cap if this exchange to show the developer is simply not telling the truth with the way this played out. I will post this link here for all to see)

Fast support response. I bought the app and use it with an iPad. Had some questions about how to make some features work and had a response within an hour. Very impressed with the response time! I connected a Bluetooth keyboard to the iPad and was easily able to control the scrolling of the text on the iPad. Was also given instructions on how to view the iPad from another device using QuickTime. Didn’t know I could even do that! Just need to figure out how to view the non-reversed display when using it with a reversed display while another person is operating and scrolling the text for someone on camera.

The best app purchase you will make. If you need an IOS teleprompter app, this is it! I bought this for a last minute production that needed a Teleprompter software solution. I was amazed at how well everything worked- Teleprompter Premium did everything it said it could. I was able to download scripts from the Dropbox folder I shared with my client, effortlessly control the iPad app with my iPhone, and quickly set up the iPad mirroring. It is so rare to find a developer that makes this solid a product. Kudos to the developer!

Best i have tried by far. So I am a video producer and have been using an iPad Teleprompter set up for quite a long time. I have used quite a few different Teleprompter apps and this one is the best by far with the most features and is just far over and above the others that I've tried. I also really appreciate that this developer didn't charge for a new app for correcting the bugs. There is another Teleprompter app that I use for a few years that had a bunch of flies and when they finally corrected those flies they charged double the original price just to have a working app. Why would I ever trust him again if they charge to fix what was already broken? For this app it works miles above everything else and I appreciate that they took the time and effort to fix the small flies that it did have and not do an up charge for those fixes.

Some clunkiness.. Using “cues” (a feature of the app that allows you to put stopping points in your script), is not implemented well. When moving to the next cue, that cue will stop on the center line, leaving only the top half of your screen for text. (The cue, just the text “>>>,” should really appear at the bottom of the screen, so each “page” of text from your script could occupy the entire screen. The app allows you to edit your script as well. Unfortunately, when editing scripts within the app, the format changes to make the text span the width of the screen. This doesn’t give you a WYSIWYG view of your script, showing you what your edits will look like when you later actually read your script. And sometimes when I go into Edit mode, the app DOES display the text like it will appear when you want to read from it. This behavior is unpredictable on my phone. So if you have a long script you want to put “cues” in, getting that to work is not particularly fun. But if you want to break up your long script into smaller passages and just use scrolling text, that works fine. However, you will have to import each section individually. And there’s no way to import multiple scripts.

iPhone remote does not work. This app works great as a teleprompter and has many great features, but trying to use the iPhone as a Bluetooth remote for an iPad running a script does not function like a remote. It will mirror what is on the iPad, but you cannot play, pause, or change the speed of the text, which is the reason to use it as a remote. I put in a service ticket and emailed the developer with no response in over a week. I even contacted the App Store about this and was denied a refund. Hopefully, this is fixed in an update because it was incredibly inconvenient to have to play and pause the script on the iPad itself that was rigged to our camera during a recent shoot.

Oh NOOOOO / It’s Broken. this is a case where a perfectly good app has now become glitchy w/ IOS update I have an ipad pro w/ a magic keyboard and now when I type in the editor, the app keeps scrolling down at every keystroke... This has made this app UNUSABLE for me now.... AND THIS BY FAR WAS MY FAVORITE TELEPROMPTER APPLICATION Please please pretty please write an update for this glitch Thanks so much Also as far as performance, There is a long lag time when I open a script or start a new one … It takes like 15 seconds to open or create scripts…. None of this used to happen… I don’t know what’s going on..

Everything* you need, nothing you don’t. Downloaded this initially to use on a shoot of Clive Davis interviewing some legendary friends of his for a TV special. The previous TPT operator was fired because they couldn’t keep up with Davis’ edits-on-the-fly to the script. I found the app very intuitive and easy to use. And the client (Clive) was happy with the performance. *[Edit] Would love file management to be improved by the addition of playlists. As it is now, there is no “master” library. To create a “playlist,” you need to create a separate folder. A file/“script” cannot be placed in more than one folder at a time. Why would this be helpful? For use as a lyrics TPT for a function band or any event with a fluid lineup which would require switching scripts up quickly. If devs are reading this: check out ForScore, a music pdf reader/organizer which is the industry standard among pro musicians for a reason.

Pretty Good!. I began with the free version and upgraded quickly. Mostly, the one time upgrade price is what sold me. I haven’t had the app for long, but here’s a couple things I wish It had -when you are highlighting (only available on paid version) the color does not lock after selecting. Meaning, once you are done highlighting one section, you have to go through reselecting over and over again. It’s a pain when working with a longer script. -there’s no auto save when editing your script. The app crashed after I had been working for over an hour on a script, I lost everything I didn’t manually save. It seems to be a company that will upgrade these things (especially for paid members) as I’ve received a couple emails from the developer thanking for purchase and soliciting their other apps. Looking forward to see what gets added in future updates

Got the app installed!!! Can't wait to use it. Made a mistake myself trying to get the license key! I originally gave this one star because I thought it was not issuing me the license key. However on the sixth try I noticed instead of asking for my email address and wanting me to set up a password, (as almost any app or program wants to issue a key ) it wanted my name and my email address only LOL. So I was trying to put in my email and then create a user password, once again my mistake. The developer got right back to me to assure me they would fix the problem immediately but this was on me. sorry for the bad review previously. And A+ for the developer or tech-support

The Best Available. I tried virtually all the teleprompter apps and I kept coming back to this one. Why? It just works. The ease in getting scripts loaded and being able to easily edit makes it perfect for field production. The number of options to control it is staggering. We use an XBox controller which kind of makes it “fun”, but there are so many other ways to run it remotely. No “follow your voice” gimmicks that sounds cool but rarely works with any level of confidence, and when you have talent and crew waiting you need it to work all the time, every time. I also liked the subscription options. I was able to try it for a week at a small price to see if it worked for us. It did so next time we use it we’ll spring for the annual license, it’s that good.

Blackout glitch. Hooked it up via HDMI from my iPad to my 42in Samsung TV. It worked for a split second then switched to a black screen with teleprompter premium font telling me to load the script. After I did that, the app showed nothing and went to a full black screen. I turned off the power to my iPad & reloaded it to see if that would help and it did the same thing. I’ve used this before on script readings and it worked fine, which is why I’m giving it 3-stars instead of one, however this is the 1st time I’ve used it with my TV. Has this happen to anyone else?

Great for aspiring casters. I’ve been informally been doing school news programs for a long time now. With digital video it doesn’t take much to record, edit and post a program for people to watch, but one of the challenges is providing on-screen talent with a script that can be read easily while recording. We usually have gone the route of printing the scripts in large letters and hanging on the tripod, but usually the angle of the script and length of the script makes it difficult to look professional. With this tool, however, it’s easy to put the script on the device and cast at a speed of your choice. You can place the device at a position that looks natural, making it easier to record professional looking video. Probably easiest with a larger iPad, but even with an iPhone it works well. Highly recommend getting comfortable with saving files to iCloud in advance, so you don’t scramble to figure it out before going live. Highly recommended!

Solved all my problems. This is my 5th Teleprompter app. All I need are the basics, a script I can follow and easy editing on the fly. Up till this one, using a teleprompter on my iPad has been one frustration on top of another. The biggest ouch has been trying to set a proper scroll speed to match my voice. The set speed made my videos difficult, monotonous and boring. I thought that would be solved by an app with voice control but that ended up worse than no control. This app solved everything. The controls and views via a second iOS device are great (I now have the camera person controlling the speed), the speed of response between devices is perfect, the ability to edit is good and I am one happy camper. Great job. I highly recommend this.

I was about to give up….. Look no further! If you’re like me and you need a teleprompter solution that just works, Teleprompter Premium is IT! I was so tired of dealing with glitchy, temperamental, inconsistent other apps with all kinds of ‘in app purchases’ just to get the thing to work. For most, the free version gives you just about everything you’ll need to get going and the premium version upgrade is very affordable considering the feature set. There is even a free upgrade just for using the app! - I love that there is a one time buyout option to avoid costly subscriptions. Lastly, the option to use a video game controller is absolutely brilliant and necessary as you can control the speed and adapt to different speakers. So far this app has been rock solid and without any crashes or glitches! Great job Joe!!!

5-star for price vs performance. I bought Teleprompter Premium for a TV commercial shoot 2 days ago. I owned other TelePrompTer apps and software but this one I’m using in a new iPad and portable beam splitter. Here’s my outline comment; - This is very easy to use. I was up and running in just a few minutes. - I used the cut and paste with MS word that my client sent through email. - It also imports from Google Drive and iCloud. Others I haven’t tried yet. - Speed adjustment works well but I really like the timed scroll. - I used the horizontal reflection and used the script editing on the fly and it works flawless even mounted on the beam splitter. - The price vs performance is hard to beat. I own several software many times more expensive than this. This does the job well. - I haven’t tried scripts more than 30 sec especially long ones that may need markers - Remote control with an iPhone worked but I had a problem of disconnecting. It’s a Bluetooth connection. This feature will make this app more powerful if I could figure out what went wrong. Especially if I could have a total control of the iPad as client. Overall, I’m happy with the app. It’s very useful. It worked smoothly and I would recommend it.

Saved me in a pinch. When I found out last minute that I needed to handle a video shoot without a production company I went to a mad scramble to make sure I had everything I needed. One thing I never thought I’d be able to find in time was a teleprompter. Then I thought there has to be an app, there is an app for everything. Well, I was right. teleprompter was that app. It saved my neck and the shoot went perfectly, the talent loved the app so much I think I convinced them to download it themselves. From full editing capabilities to font size adjustment and full scrolling speed control this app really is an all in one teleprompter that does everything a real teleprompter would. I highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed. I am working on launching my Patreon for a big project I am working on. So, my friend recommended this App for me to use. I downloaded it on my iPad, iPhone and Watch. It does not seem to work for my personal need on the Watch, since I record using the back facing camera on my phone. So, I used it on my iPad with a downloaded script from Dropbox I made. At first, it did not work to mirror the image on my Apple TV using my iPad, but after very quick and effective troubleshooting with the developer, I did find a good work around. In my case, I am using the free version which may play a part and with that if I copy and paste the words into the demo script, it worked exactly how I expected it to. If you are looking for a good way to read while speaking at your own pace to record videos, this is easy and wonderful to use. Layout is nice and intuitive for those that are not tech wizards looking for a great design. If you have any issues at all, the developer is on it to help fix your problems.

Just What I Needed. I am tremendously impressed with this app. I had not used a teleprompter before, and I needed one on short notice to record a short video for presentation at a conference in South Africa. This app was amazingly easy to use and had all of the features I wanted. I was particularly impressed that the app allowed me to shoot my video directly from the app, while the teleprompter was operating. I was also impressed by the fact that I could set the desired speed at which I wanted to complete my presentation. The price for these features was extremely reasonable.

Just seems to work perfectly. Any ideas I’ve had about how I wish this app would work… it basically already does (I just have to update in settings). I’m using on iPhone screen, iPad screen, and via Airplay to a cheap Roku stick that’s plugged into my promoter monitor. I especially appreciate how the airplay out is implemented, with the controls showed on the iOS screen but a nice, clean output on the external display. Kudos! Small suggestions (may be available in settings I haven’t found): - Ability to show elapsed clock OR remaining clock, not just both or neither - Ability to easily reset elapsed clock or (better yet) have it start counting when scrolling starts from the top rather than when the script is opened - Ability to set AirPlay output to Landscape rotation even if I’m holding my phone in Portrait

Good, but not ready for Pro use. The app has a decent editor and scrolls text with the various necessary controls. What I really wanted, though, was proper remote control. With the iOS app on an iPhone, you first have to load the same script on both apps. It’s easy... but why can’t the scripts just sync? Worse, the text my talent sees on the iPad is NOT the same text that I see on my iPhone (!!!). In fact, it even be gets completely out of sync where I see one thing, the reader sees another. So I’d have to sit not behind my camera, but where I can read the teleprompter. And if I then try to scroll the iPad using my phone, it jumps to where my phone is, so I can’t make those subtle and smooth pushes and pulls that a good prompter operator would do. It makes zero sense whatsoever. Also, while you can change background colors, it doesn’t appear you can change text color. I prefer green type... but my choice is white. So, it’s a decent app, and might get there in future versions. But this isn’t yet an app suited for professional use.

Finicky. After reading all these glowing reviews, I thought this was the perfect App for me. However, I felt like I do when I’m sitting in a taxi trying to turn off the little TV screens that you keep tapping and nothing happens. Took forever to import my script. Then I kept tapping it and it wouldn’t open, just freezes. A few times the App just closed. I’m glad I’ve tried this out weeks before my performance because I will NEVER trust this on stage in front of a full theater of people. It’s not professional. One last note: The advert leads you to believe the highlights and italics you took the time to insert in your original document will appear on the document you import. It does not. So if you were depending on seeing those things you did for your cues …you won’t

Poor support, some stupid omissions. I bought this app to use when recording a video presentation. I intended to use it on the iPad, with the iPhone as the controller. Found a number of issues. First, I had to keep repeating the Bluetooth connection. Any time I left the iPhone app, or if I changed to one of the other script files for the different parts of my presentation, I had to reconnect. I tried using a Bluetooth keyboard instead, but there appears to be no way to skip back to the top of the script with the keyboard. If you flub a take and need to go again, well, it's irritating to say the least. To use the phone as a controller, you have to have the same scripts on both apps. But you can't just send from one to the other. You have to put them somewhere like Dropbox and manually download to both devices. Both copies of the app interrupted my high-pressure efforts to get my presentation done by putting up a screen asking me to rate the app. There was no option to "rate later" or skip the rating. Needless to say, this did not earn a positive rating. Finally, I used the support website to send questions to the developer, and I have had no response in over a week.

Made Me Look & Sound Good. I was asked to give a six-minute, prerecorded graduation speech. No matter how long I practiced, I wasn’t happy with it. In some takes, I looked down too much. In others, I looked fake. Everything changed when I downloaded this app. I was able to read and record my speech without looking like I was reading. The app was easy to use. I typed in my speech, hit the start button, and read my speech. Controlling the speed was super easy. I loved the final product and so did the school.

Great app…. The app is easy to use, easy to customize for a given script I want to read, and can even be arranged like an actual teleprompter. I’m not a big fan of the subscription model, but there is a one-time purchase option. Being able to quickly adjust the reading rate, or importing text from other apps is a huge time saver. I’ll be using this a lot, and I like the option to have a remote to control for when I’m recording video. I look forward to getting a lot of use from this.

Love it! Well designed and simple to use!. I give many talks in a public forum. Eye contact is so very important when reading the audience. Teleprompter is such a great tool for allowing this. I use it on my IPad to display my talk. I can control the speed of the material I’m covering and can easily pause and continue when situations require it. I’m so very pleased with the time counters it provides. It helps me to see the overall anticipated length of the talk at the selected speed of delivery. It is a dream tool for anyone giving talks/presentations.

Fantastic. I love Teleprompter and the Developer. The app gives me the ability to work seamlessly on any device when I don't have access to my computer. I never feel as if I look like I am tied to a script because everything is so adjustable it can be positioned wherever l need to look. The transparency mode is the greatest for virtual presentations. The Developer is responsive when you need assistance with something that may not have already been addressed via a help video. If you’re looking for an excellent professional tool look no further!

Exactly what I needed. Teleprompter Premium is a well designed application with an impressive array of features that provide all the functionality I was looking for. My primary use is for presenting songs to help me practice on my guitar. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail demonstrated by Teleprompter Premium. For example, once I had the timing calculated I made a note of the speed only to find out that the speed was automatically saved with the file when I filed it. It supports a full arrary of fonts, including monospaced fonts which is crucial for chord placements over the appropriate song phrase. Teleprompter Premium supports my bluetooth keyboard allowing me to make adjustments and still have the tablet at a proper distance. The user interface is superb, with everything you'd expect and nothing you wouldn't. All in all this is the best teleprompting software I've used and cannot think of any features I'd like to have that aren't already there. Oh, and technical support is top-notch. I had a minor issue with my Dropbox setup and had the solution just hours after my report.

As described. I wrote my script on pages on my Mac, then airdropped to my iPad and had trouble bringing it into this app. In all fairness I’m not 100% sure, it was a problem with the app or a bug in apple’s software. Anyway I solved it, by emailing the script to myself as a pdf, saving it to files and then bringing it in, which worked flawlessly. (I think it had issues with importing from pages, so just do pdf) I bought this for one time use, but it’s good to have for the future, if ever needed. Besides for my minor issue, I have to say that app works fluidly, and has a great UX. I got done what I needed done, using it with a teleprompter to shoot a video. Also the developer seems great! So happy to support his business.

Good app but not enough. I am a singer-songwriter and I bought this app because I need it for on stage performances. The remote control feature is "almost" good, because I can't really control the whole thing from an iPhone. What I can really do is to start/stop the scrolling and that's it. I can't open a new script remotely. What I mean by this is that an assistant should be able to remotely select a new song that opens on the iPhone and automatically opens on the iPad. The actual situation is that somebody has to approach the iPad, which is on the stage; select a new script and run away hiding from the audience. Not a good situation, is it? All that said, I spent the money on something I won't use completely, although I recognize that I will use it at home for videos. Please, consider this for your new upgrades. It would be great

Exactly what I needed for my online course!. I teach an online course and have a LOT of notes that I must constantly refer to. I had been worried about looking down too much and breaking my connection with my students. Teleprompter Pro was very intuitive and easy to to use! It was exactly what I needed: a see-through window with my notes scrolling over my zoom window so that I never had to look down. I haven’t loved an app this much in a long time.

Great teleprompter app!. Simple to use and has all the features you might need such as mirror mode and enlarge or shrink the reading area. You can also set a timer and start talking right after. The text speed can also be changed to adapt to your reading speed and you can control the text movement with a Bluetooth device such as an iPad keyboard ( on the paid version). You can import your script from a document as well. I highly recommend it over other teleprompter apps!

Non existent customer service 30 scripts disappeared. I was making an edit on one of my script like I often do. When I exited the edit and returned to my scripts appropriately 30 scripts had vanished. My content was gone. Replacing the text was a single word (null). I called Joe Allen in England and spoke to Joe. Joe said he’d look into it. I wouldn’t know if he looked into it because I never heard from him again. I sent emails and left many voice messages when I called him multiple times in England from the states. I use this app professionally it is where I store my songs and now they’re gone with no support from Joe Allen. It’s a great app until something goes wrong and then it’s not so great anymore. Best Teleprompter Yet. We were hesitant to pay to switch apps (again) due to all of the bad experiences we’ve had with other teleprompters, but this app finally delivers. Loading scripts is easy, all the necessary features work as advertised, and we didn’t have to pay for the premium app on each of our phones separately just to use them as remotes. (P.S. the remote control feature is among the best we’ve used.) This is a nearly perfect teleprompter app!

What’s not to love!. I just got this recently and haven’t used it much but I’d be happy to share my experience so far. I hated recording my podcast because if I used my computer to read the script online,I had to keep scrolling down and then I’d over scroll and lose my place. EDIT! If I’d use a paper script the page turning came through the microphone and you guessed it EDIT. Now all I have to do is read, the program advances at adjustable speeds. Your program saved my marriage because guess whose job it was to do all those edits? That’s right, poor hubby. Thank you from both of us for creating this awesome program.

Tedious and frustrating. This is the workflow if you're using an iPad with an iPhone for a remote: You need to go into settings on the phone's app, then go into "nearby devices," then "host a session." Then put your phone down and go to the iPad. Dig into the iPad app's settings and join the session. But it doesn't join. You need to go back to the phone and confirm that you want to let the iPad join. Then you have to go back to the iPad and close the settings window. Then you go back to the phone and start playing the script, but it probably didn't actually load on the iPad, so you need to back out and try again now that the script's open. Then the script loads on the iPad. The big problem is that going back to the home screen on one of the devices immediately disconnects the session and you need to go through the whole process all over again EVERY TIME you want to change something in the script. Maybe you can tolerate it for a one-time project, but you're certainly not going to use it regularly. And the even bigger problem is that scrolling is only smooth on the hosting device, so you're going to need to make all your edits on the iPad you want to read from, and that might mean taking it out of the teleprompter frame every time. And importing from Google Drive doesn't seem to work. All my docs are grayed out. I have no idea how this app has more than two stars.

Perfect app at the perfect time!. I am not much for app reviews, so the idea that I am writing one says about my feelings towards it. We needed to film someone giving a speech to be presented at function, which involved a very specific script, to be followed. This app not only gives many visual options, but with the premium version, lets you remotely control the flow of the prompter, from another device. This came in VERY handy, as I was the only one allowed in the room. This made being behind the camera super important, while still needing to be responsible for guiding the words across the screen. There are many other features to this app, which I have probably yet to discover. However, if they are as useful as the features I have already found, then this app is 100% worth it in my opinion, regardless of anything else I may be missing. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!! Perfect for my needs. This is my first foray into using a teleprompter, but I was very impressed with how intuitive this app is and how easy it was to start using immediately. I especially like that I can easily write my script in MS Word and quickly import it directly into the app. Further editing can then occur in the app itself if needed. I’m using this with an iPad along with a teleprompter device and camera, but it also can function with only a cell phone or tablet doing the scrolling and recording. As much as the app itself impressed me, the support was fantastic. I noticed a minor bug that appeared with this last major iOS update (14.0). Within a few days the app was updated and problem solved. I would definitely recommend this app (I purchased the premium version).

Great app & Best customer service ever!!. I got the free version a while back for a webinar I had to lead and it worked beautifully. I did not upgrade because of the pandemic. Being an artist, funds were low. Today I saw the offer for a free upgrade and I couldn’t make it work. I replied to the email with the offer and wasn’t expecting to get a response, especially on a holiday but to my surprise, I was emailed immediately. The instructions I was given did not work. After about 6 emails going back and forth I was able to get my free upgrade. Seriously, this is the best customer service I have ever experienced and the app works great. Very easy to navigate without tutorials and my webinar was a big success! Thanks for a great service!!

Perfect. I spent ages trying to find a decent teleprompter app that could be controlled and previewed from a remote device. This is it. I can see the script on my controller and move it along manually or automatically as desired. Urgent presentation. During COVID I have been based 1,000 km from my head office. As company chairman they wanted a short video message to send to our thousands of members with a Christmas EDM. I found Teleprompter and downloaded it, pasted the required text, paired my kids xBox controller (well he did that actually) and within 15 minutes I was recording professional quality content. So easy.

Legitimately impressed. I’ve only just started with this app, though right away I can see the quality in the feature set and expanded functionality. This isn’t just some basic text scroller; there’s legitimate thought in this app.

Video excellence. I used the app to record a health information video for a global health organisation that ended up getting 22 million views. It was close enough to the camera lens to make it seem as if I was looking directly at the camera. It was well worth the purchase to record this video which, in ordinary times, would’ve seen me fly to another country to record.

Almost really good.. Dear Joe. You have almost fantastic app. The watch app is good but it needs to scroll backwards as well as forwards. Back scrolling is super important when we shoot multiple takes of the same line. Complex scripts is why we use a TelePrompTer in the first place. The Bluetooth iOS to iOS control is sluggish. The Bluetooth controls might be an industry standard, but up arrow and down arrow should be included in addition to W and S. a page up and page down key would save me hours of wasted recording time waiting for the text to go back to where I want to reshoot from. In short. I use your app a lot. But your app makes me sad every time I shoot - but I still put out with it because it is the best of the bad things there is on the market. --Update-- Dear Joe. Thanks for the response man. The back button on the watch is indeed a useful feature. It isn't obvious from a user perspective, but the functionality is good to have. I wonder if it is possible to use the Digital Crown to scroll back and forward? That would be amazing. I have upgraded this review to 5 stars as a thank you for your response.

Live streaming success. We needed to provide a teleprompter for an executive’s live stream speech. Purchasing a $300 (AU) teleprompter, this app, and using an existing iPad and iPhone did the job perfectly. Very easy to setup, link two devices, upload script and then tweak the scrolling speed of the iPad from the iPhone during the speech. I highly recommend it.!!

Worth the purchase. It is working very well for us. I was a bit hesitant in paying the upgrade but it was quick and easy to setup and even our not so teach savvy presenters could operate it without the crew’s help.

Very convenient. This is a convenient means of carrying your speech in your pocket, prompting your memory and measuring your pace of delivery. I particularly like the tap tot stop start function. Very happy so far.

Remote operation is not usable. The app is fine for self recording on an iPad or iphone but the remote function for pro recording on camera like a prompt-it unit with an operator is completely unsuitable. When controlling from a browser, the operator can’t see the text, just arrows to control the speed. When controlling an iPad from a phone, the iPad display is a mirror of the phone so doesn’t use the full screen the iPad. Useless as an on camera teleprompter but great for self recording. Access to iCloud files is ok say 7/10.

Best autocue software. We have been loyal to Pro Prompter software for years but alas they stopped supporting it over the last few years and it began to crash often. We are now trailing this software with our sons PS 4 remote and we can go backwards an absolute game changer. bygeorge We love it already.

Close, but still huge issues.. I’ve used this app professionally for about two years now. Bugs have been annoying, but tolerable. Recently I’ve started using it in live broadcasts, and I’m afraid I’ll have to find a stronger solution. Every time I use it I pair an iPad master with an iPhone controller. It’s so close to perfect, but there are a few huge points that keep me sweating bullets every single time. The controls are extremely sluggish and relay is often steppy. I have to keep softly moving the script in filming breaks because it unsynchronizes after idling (and I literally have to put my hand in front of the camera to accept the iPhone into the session when I reset) I have learnt to live with the fact that my iPhone isn’t even close to a 1:1 representation of what is on screen with the iPad, and I mainly just ride the speed and play/pause buttons while hidden off camera with the iPad in line of sight. But in order to keep using this I need confidence that the lag issues will be resolved. Even if the solution is to hardwire a connection. I need reliability.

Finally, a truly useful teleprompter. I really like this app. I had tried and even paid for several other teleprompter apps but wasn't happy with any of them. This one did the trick and I was happy to pay for the premium features after only a short while.

Brilliant so easy to use. I have used this for over 3 years. Saw an add for a teleprompter app that had colour. Never got past the experiment stage. Back to this app. Once you work out your speech speed and the size of the font. It just flows beautifully.

Latest upgrade super annoying. I bought premium months ago. With the recent upgrade it got rid of premium on my iPad. I assume I can get premium again when I log in. I forgot my password to login, when I click password reset it says it has sent a reset email to my email, but I never received one after trying 4 times. (Definitely using correct email) I tried contacting the app maker via email but never got a reply. So because the password reset DOESNT SEND A RESET EMAIL, I’m locked out of being use the premium app I purchaSed. Which was not cheap. I’m trying to get his fixed and sorted before I have to use the teleprompter next, but if I had to use it this week and couldn’t get access I’d be FUMING.

Average, with flaws. Basic functionality. Have raised feedback to them but they dont seem to be that focused on improving the user experience, even for premium users like me. Takes forever to load up scripts and just user unfriendly. For example theres no batch import of a number of scripts. And if you import word doc scripts it changes the format and makes them really hard to work with. Seems like your feedback just gets ignored and they haven't really done any exciting improvements on this app.

Buy the Premium Version. I was using a free app and let me tell you, because of the remote features this app has, the mirroring effect it uses, the ability to edit on screen, this makes this app better then all of the free ones I have tried so if you’re looking to save yourself time in the long run, do yourself a favour and buy the premium.

Teleprompter. This is an amazing app. I have recently downloaded it and have found it simple to use with lots of features and how-to management. I plan to use the Teleprompter set beside my computer for giving travel presentations. I did have an issue with upgrading to the Premium version, and I contacted the creator (Joe Allen) who contacted me within the hour on a Sunday to rectify my issue. It turned out to be my error, not understanding that it was an in-app purchase to upgrade. I was impressed by the fact that it automatically downloaded the text from my iPhone to my iPad. I liked using my iPhone as a controller to scroll the Teleprompter on my iPad. I am considering purchasing a hand or foot controller for scrolling the text in the future. I loved adding colour text and the fact you can use the audio feature to add text to your script. I am sure with trial and error, I will learn many more features to use for what I consider an amazing app. Sent from my iPhone

Awesome!. Amazing app and am loving it. Thanks to the developers (Joe Allen especially) for this wonderful and absolutely free creation! I had to make a surprise video for a close friend’s birthday. There were six of us who did it. Putting up a prepared script, adjusting the speed, font size, etc. was a breeze. We had so much fun doing it which really was a big surprise to the celebrant eventually. Hope another more sensible app like this will be on the way.

Just so-so. I need a teleprompter I can trust to save my changes after I close the file and this one has proven 50/50 on that one. To go through a longer document and make edits to open it up later and find it did not save is very frustrating. I also want the ability to import pre-formatted documents from MS Word and this software limits this. About 80% imports and the other 20% does not. For example, I like to highlight things in yellow that I want to emphasize but that highlighting feature does not import. I’m able to do it in the teleprompter but formatting on my iPad is much more laborious than on my laptop

Floating widgets. Hi I enjoy using your teleprompter, but will their be any floating widgets while using our iOS camera device, I’d love to use this when I go live on my other apps

Best Teleprompter on market for me. Prior to Teleprompter, I tried and struggled (at great expense) with Promptsmart. I thought paying more meant a better product. It did not - it always had trouble syncing between devices and was unstable. Teleprompter solves this. I’m able to set an iPad up on the tripod under the teleprompter mirror and control it from the app on my desk, where I have teleprompter installed on a device mirrored to the iPad. This little hack allows me to control scroll speed and go off script as desired. Best of all, I can have my laptop handy to edit scripts that instantly synch, and don’t even need Teleprompter Video because I can stick an iPhone running Zoom on the physical teleprompter, besides the iPad, and look Zoom audiences straight in the eye while I present. If I need to share screen and control a slide show, I do this from the laptop connected to the same Zoom meeting. Sounds complicated but the point is, I’m using each app to do what it does best, rather than trying to find an app that does everything in the combination I want. So I needed a robust, flawless teleprompter app, and Joe Allen absolutely nailed it with Teleprompter. Five stars. I will never go back to the competition.

Cinematic Mode Not Supported. This is an amazing app for on-the-go content creators like myself. I hope developers would come with an update that supports IPhone Cinematic mode.

Great for Educators!. I’m a teacher using my Teleprompter Premium for educational purposes. It’s been a great help in allowing me to make quick custom lessons for my younger students. Showing them how to read sentences or how to summarize stories and learn how to find the main idea of a story. I made a custom teleprompter box out of foamcore and a sheet of plexiglass and it works well for me to utilize in long lessons. I can type a custom “script” (lesson) as a reference for the points I’d like to make, or even to tell an entire story. It’s great for maintaining eye contact with my students, helping to keep them engaged in the lesson. Teleprompter helps me stay on track, and has greatly reduced the number of takes needed to create a strong lesson for my students’ needs. Thank you!

Best teleprompter on the App store. I've installed and uninstalled so many teleprompter apps in the past couple of days. I'm glad I finally found this. So easy to customize and use.

The creator understands the business model for both amateurs and professionals who both use the same app. There is a one time fee to unlock the professional settings. There is also a subscription model that unlocks even more features which isn’t useful for small time production companies and individuals. The main functionality is offered to any of the above users. Highly recommend. Very clean and straightforward to use. Keep up the great work!

Useless. It used to be good, and now as I setup to produce a video, the mirror function is hidden behind a paywall. I understand we should pay from premium features, but this is the most basic requirement for using a teleprompter, and is now accessible to users testing out the product. Uninstalled.

Works perfectly. Just used this literally “out of the box” yesterday with a professional TV broadcaster using a pro teleprompter set-up. Worked perfectly and he was able to control his presentation with zero effort. Maybe went 50% faster than the way we used to do it. My favourite feature is that you can edit text within the same interface as the playback so no need to edit, review, play back, fix, try again... Having the speed adjustment function on the script playback page is also great. Nice job!

Just easy and effective!. I just love how easy this app is to use and setup. We use it with a professional teleprompter. The software that came with it was not as intuitive and we decided to get this app for our laptop and our phones. If installed on the phone you can control the teleprompter remotely which was a feature we were missing as well. I really recommend this app for anybody with a teleprompter, or even to use on your computer for presentations or zoom meetings. Love it!

Excellent Product. This is an excellent product. I purchased it for the colour highlighting and being able to reduce the font size for directions. I use a blue tooth presentation clicker which makes very easy to control the teleprompter on my iPad.

Excellent app!. I love this app as it’s saved me from having to memorize a script. It also saves me a lot of time since I don’t have to restart over and over again (because I mess up what I’m saying). It’s easy to use and I love that I can set the speed of the words to go as fast or slow as I’d like them. I write what I want to say and then copy and paste it into the app (or do it all in the app) and then start shooting with the words scrolling. I can also upload a document if I like. Excellent. This is a really good app. It does what it claims and it is super useful for scripted presentations. Importing PDF content does require some cleanup but it is still a five star app.

A true game changer. We needed something that would allow us to record informational videos without having to memorize the script or have the awkward aa’s and umm's in the speech. Teleprompter. I’m so glad I found this app! It allows me to write my scripts on my computer then upload them to the app in a variety of formats. I can then also edit it within the app if I forgot something or want to change something at the last minute. So many options to have my text scroll across the screen and even works with remotes. Just wonderful app.

At last!. I make a number of short instructional videos for staff at work on a weekly basis. In the past I have had to type out scripts and tape them to the right of my camera to try and avoid wandering eyes during the presentation. This app has made all that a thing of the past. Here come better and more engaging videos!

The Best Teleprompter App by Far!. Tried a lot of teleprompter apps, and this was the best one by far. Lots of customizations and options!

So far so good…. Sometimes it is hard to know which app from a plethora of apps available on the App Store. I read a lot of reviews. My first video was seemless. I used the app as a teleprompter and recorded the video on my PC. I am not sure what the app make possible for vlogging. I am looking forward to the next attempt.

Works as needed. As a pastor of a church, I started to record my messages via YouTube but I was reading my sermon from my iPad. This meant I was always looking to my left to capture the Scriptures I was using. After some research, I made a teleprompter but needed an app. TelePrompTer Pro came up as a recommended app and I find it has been working well. I can control the speed of the words or pause the words. Now the videos are much better as I am always looking at the camera.

Great app for videos that need a script. Great app

Easy to use with no ads!. I was expecting to have to deal with tons of pop ups to use this app and was really pleasantly surprised to find that even the free version isn’t overrun with ads. Or any ads at all! I also love the easy customizations for font size and the scroll speed. Everything about this app has been a pleasant surprise. A well deserved 5 star rating!

Works smoothly. I use it with a teleprompter and the mirror function works perfectly.

Superb App. I’ve been in television a long time. Years ago doing local TV Sports in the 80’s, I was used to using a tele-promoter. I never would have guessed an app on a phone would be just as good. And above all else, the technical support Joe offers is as convenient as the prompter itself. I’ve never had quicker technical support, to any and all questions. Thanks Joe.

Great app, missing one critical thing. This is the best of the bunch for teleprompters. The file handling is great, everything works as advertised. The one thing I find frustrating with this app that some of the other teleprompter apps have is landscape orientation locking. You can use the built in orientation locking to keep it in portrait mode, but the iPhone doesn’t allow you to lock orientation in landscape. Some of the other apps do this. I wish it could be added to this one and then it would be a 5 star.

teleprompter is very good but needs more remote features. I used this with a teleprompter and it worked well. I purchased a remote control to have flexibility in changing the settings. Currently I can only operate on feature at a time: Start/stop or scroll speed adjustment, or page up/down. This creates a fair amount of inflexibility in the app. It would be ideal if all the controls can be implemented for simultaneous access. The remote certainly has enough control buttons to accommodate this use case.

Thanks for making my work easier!. As an entertainer, I’m sometimes asked to promote events via social media. This means relaying a bunch of information as precisely as possible. I can’t tell you how nice it is having a prompter on my screen. I’m technologically challenged, but this app is so easy to use. Thank you for making my job so much easier! Love it!

Needs a bit more functionality. Works great on remote shoots. The only problem is the operator, using a BT keyboard, can’t toggle between “Edit script” and prompt without tapping the designated section on the iPad. The same goes for switching out scripts. There needs to be a keyboard equivalent (esc=toggle edit/prompt?) for some of the now “gotta tap the screen” functions to make it a little easier for the operator with a keyboard. All in all it’s a great app and we use it a great deal and it has worked as expected.

Help with Folders. Does anyone know how to make folders work? I am having zero success. The app does everything I need but folders don't work say like Microsoft....I want to have artist songs in their own folder. When I try to move a song to a folder it moves every song!

Great app. Love the app - and especially the opportunity for a free upgrade. Everything works well and it has all the functionality you could want. The only improvement to be made would be to eliminate some of the glitchiness when using an iOS device as a remote.

Customizable, reliable and very intuitive. I’ve tried a few different teleprompters and this is the best one I’ve found. This teleprompter works well for me on a 2017 iPad with no issues to date. I use it to rehearse and perform live music and am very happy with this product - highly recommend!

Bluetooth is a pain. I bought this so my phone could control the iPad TelePrompTer and it does a horrible job with it. Here's some of the problems with it: The two screens don't match up, making it impossible to track where the talent is in the script. Then, if the talent needs to stop and back up, a tiny swipe of your finger on the iPhone will send the iPad's screen going hay wire. And finally, the Bluetooth only "works" half the time. If you pause it on your phone the iPad will keep scrolling. If you push play on your phone, the iPad will stay paused. Very unhappy with this app's performance.

Great Solution. On bigger jobs I hire a Teleprompter operator and they bring their own gear. There’s a whole range of work that doesn’t meet that threshold and finding a solution within that range can be very challenging. The great thing about this app is that it provides a full featured solution on an iPad that allows a single user to replicate the experience of having an operator.

QHS Administrator. Part of doing business in the new post-Covid world involves delivering content through digital platforms such as ZOOM. Teleprompter has been a tremendous help in that transition . It allows me to easily see and scroll through my messages while still being able to view the audience. This is an important alternative to notepads or memorization! ‘:^)>

Exceeded my expectations. Used it for the first time to write a script on Thursday, shot the professional video on Friday and it was great that I could Edit the script on the fly, after seeing the first run through in camera. It was easy to change fonts, and speed. Impressive product, and for $15 1-time fee for premium features, a huge value. Plus, today I was able to send the script to the video editor to follow. A nice bonus feature. Thank you!

Very useful. I am using this with my iPad Pro and have found it perfect for my purposes. I use my iPhone for videoing while suspending my IPad just over the iPhone. It is hard to tell that I am reading from a script in this situation. Be sure and get the in app add-on that allows you to do selfie videos with the script superimposed on your iPhone or iPad. Fantastic opportunities to make narrated video on the fly.

The best teleprompter app. I can’t recommend this app highly enough. The interface is simple and responsive, and importing scripts from your email or cloud storage works great. I have used other apps that really screw up the formatting of your imported scripts, but you won’t have that problem here. Really, a great app. Maybe the best of its kind.

Good app but bugs need fixing. I find it impossible to pair my iOS devices so one can be the remote control for another. And the default fonts and colors I set in the iOS app don’t save properly. Recommended feature: Would be amazing to be able to make real-time changes to a script on my computer app and have them show up instantly on my phone app. If they can fix the bugs I’ll renew at end of the year.

Awesome Product and Amazing Service!. I have been using TelePrompter Premium for some time now and it works amazingly. Plus, the updates actually improve it instead of breaking it like so many other great apps in the App Store. And, most amazing of all is the service! I created a script a while back and made updates to it inside of the app. Today, I wanted to export it back to my desktop and work on it there. After trying to figure out how to do it myself, I finally found a welcome email from the developer and sent him an email. HE REPLIED WITHIN 30 MINUTES! BTW, he told me to simply tap and hold on the script and a pop up offers the option to export. Thank you for such a great product!

Pretty good but needs some improvement.. This app works pretty good, but there are a few things I’m always dealing with, even right now on set. (1) When starting the script from an iPhone controller, it scrolls jumpy on the iPad. But if you press start on the iPad it scrolls smoothly. (2) connectivity is always an issue. We’ve had to restart the iPad and iPhone because sometimes it just won’t allow you to control the iPad properly. (3) you should be able to load the script from the iPhone without having to touch the iPad each time.

Banging my head as 80% perfect but 80% of a car doesn’t make it go/. Hard to give feedback / requests so am doing it via review I desperately need to have: 1. MACBOOK version? I keep shelling out money and not getting anywhere with any other software for an all in one solution. I paid the extra 7 bucks for the mac software remote but I really need it on MacBook natively for my setup. 2.I would like the triangle cue indicator That looks like this adjustable up and down: |>3. The remote works better on a keyboard than an iPhone, but to help a bigger start/stop button and a page up/page down button would help very much, maybe even using the volume keys?!?!? Do please respond, don't be grumpy at me, I'm trying to get this working perfectly and it’s soul destroying when it is not. Having programmable keys would help like the suborbital power prompter does. [And I won't even ask for voice activated scrolling until later]

Great product and VERY speedy response to questions!. I have the lite version, but Joe Allen (the developer) has made the video recording a free add on during this troubling time (normally part of the premium upgrade). I couldn’t figure out how to access the video portion, and I got a speedy response to help walk me through the issue. I’m very impressed with this product and the amazing customer support. Thanks!

Outstanding Product!. Joe Allen has created the most useful tool for on-camera actors and narrators. I use Teleprompter Premium when recording my Mo-Joe Friday videos. I recommend my VoiceOver students use this tool for there narrations. The on-screen text is very easy to read. This tool is easy to use and helps me with my productivity. Great work, Joe!

Great for live video. I got this app after using the freebie for several months. Now I can do my scripts ahead of time and store them on Dropbox and pull them down when I need them. I use this mostly for my Facebook Live shows on ADHD and Baby Boomer issues. It is dead easy to use and set the speed of presentation and adjust Live. Great, simple solution.

If you’re an actor or presenter, you need this app!. I’m an author, speaker and actor. I submit on-camera auditions, presentations, classes and talks all the time. Teleprompter has already saved me hours of time, even though I’ve only been using it a little over a week. Importing scripts is simple. Adjusting the speed is a breeze. If I get a bad take, deleting the video and starting a new one is quick and painless.I freaking love this app!

Perfect for my use!. Thank you for this app. I have been using another app for years, but it’s not been working well and in desperation I purchased your app. Needless to say, I love it so much more than the previous app I was using. I plan on exploring it more, but on the surface it is just what I need. It came through in a pinch! I am excited about using the front facing camera for my next project.

Everything I needed!. I’ve used a few prompter apps over the years and I can finally say I have found the perfect one! External HDMI display is mirrored while the main iPad display is mirrored?! Brilliant. Make the iPhone a hotspot for the iPad and then control the iPad with an iPhone AND a Bluetooth keyboard with customizable hot keys?! Mind blown. I got the full premium one time upgrade and feel like it was worth it after ONE shoot. Everything worked flawlessly.

Great Teleprompter App. I use this app on both my iPhone 6S+ and my iPad during video production. We do a lot of on location filming around a university campus and having this cloud enabled teleprompter allows me to build and edit scripts on the fly on my laptop and then sync them through Dropbox to the device for the talent to read from. The in app editing features are also nice for quick fixes - but nothing beats a full size keyboard to work from! One of the best apps I've used.

So grateful for Teleprompter. Over the past several years we’ve used more than one teleprompter App and hardware. Teleprompter has hands-down been the best. It is so easy to use and control, and being able to use it with an iPad instead of the tiny Parrot screen makes it really to look natural on camera. Definitely five stars.

New to Teleprompter apps. Our school is now producing videos on a weekly basis and needed a better way to scroll the script rather than a screen behind the presenters and someone scrolling the words with a mouse. We went with Teleprompter Premuim and could not believe the great support we got right from the start. The app is easy to use and does everything promised. A great tool.

Perfect, Easy To Use, Highly Recommended. I purchased this app while completing my masters program the required longer instructional videos. It is incredibly easy to use, upload scripts, and has multiple options for controlling the rate of speed that makes this app efficient and amazing. The pro features are absolutely worth the price if you are looking to use the app very often.

Excellent app. I really appreciate what this app offers. It is versatile, user-friendly and makes everything easier when recording videos. Really like the recording feature where you can go in selfie mode and the text overlays the shot! I have recommended and will continue to recommend this to others.

Didn’t know I needed this.. Really, I didn’t know I needed this app. I tried split screen on my MacBook with a script and QuickTime. That looked odd. I tried the same thing on my iPad. Didn’t look right. Then I stumbled upon this app and it worked perfectly. The video wound up looking natural and fluid. I only have a few videos to do a month, but this app helps raise the confidence level with each one.

Worked great. Used it for the first time for a 3 min promo and worked great. The ability to change the margins to more narrow so the text stays close to where the lens is is crucial for masking the fact that the subject is reading. That feature is good, and all controls are very user friendly. You can open the app and be up and running in no time. Only thing I’m missing is the option to create black text on white background. Looks like I can only do white text.

Teleprompter Premium Works Great!. Program runs great on iPhone XR and older IPad Mini 2. Especially appreciate that the program runs on my older iPad, even though I can’t upgrade the OS on that device anymore. Developers have been terrific in getting back to my w answers to my questions, often within just a few minutes. Hard to find that level of support from ANYBODY ... if you need a good teleprompter program, I heartily recommend this one.

Great Product!. Have used this for interview videos, explainer videos, grant requests, presentations in front of business people.. you name it. Next to a text editor, this is my next goto. TelePrompTer Premium has paid for itself many times over in the 4 months I’ve had it. Have been using a Logitech K811 bluetooth keyboard to control the scrolling and/or jumping from section to section in the script. It all works together very smoothly.

The jury is still out. I found it difficult to pair with my iPhone. I also started getting emails and offers from suspicious email addresses as soon as I purchased the pro account and gave away my email. Plus I got offers to purchase another pro account and prompts to upgrade after I just bought a lifetime membership. This company seems to make several similar apps and it’s hard to know which one I’m looking at and using. make sure you get everything sorted out well before you actually do filming because it’s buggy.

This app has become sullen and cranky. This app is great and serves the needs of our studio (higher ed online lectures). Recently, however, it no longer stays in sync with the mirrored side stopping altogether. Have tried re-syncing and powering down iPads with no luck. Looked for updates but don’t see any. Any suggestions?

Great application at even three times the price. This application was incredibly simple and easy to set up, easy to edit portions of my script, and when paired with a remote control, made it easy to control pace, start over, and it worked extremely well with my Teleprompter. They are listening to users and making sure the application satisfies us, it’s a great value don’t hesitate well worth the price

Excellent app. I’ve been using this app for 2 years now and have to say it’s very mature and easy to use. Love using it and it helps making videos easy. One thing I wish it had was a way to control line spacing for text. I don’t seem to see that anywhere. Otherwise it’s a great experience!

Does the job. I purchased the premium version of the app and it works well. I had some difficulty getting a remote to control the app but was able to problem solve with help from the developer. I have tried other prompter apps and this one is my preferred and includes the best feature set.

Has everything I need and more. Tried multiple apps, this has the margin settings, dependable speed adjustment, font size adjustment, and Bluetooth foot pedal capabilities that I needed. It just works. Only suggestion I’d offer is a web-based editor for scripts so I can make edits seamlessly on my computer without having to transfer from computer to phone. Keep up the fantastic work!

Great App!. I don’t know why it’s so hard to make, what appears to be, a simple app but after trying several, I finally found it! I use this app on an iPad as a Teleprompter for video production. All the fine adjustments you can make allow me to customize it perfectly for each talent. The fact that I can control the Teleprompter with my phone now is a huge bonus! Very happy with this app.

Great App. I recently downloaded this app. While I haven't fully utilized all of its features yet, I'm really pleased with the ones I have used. The app works great. The combination of being able to merge the onscreen teleprompter with live video recording is a big benefit to me in producing better and more natural looking videos. The apps designer is great too in answering questions and making sure the app is full of useful features. Thanks Joe for a great product.

From Clueless to Professional in minutes. Professor husband needed two quality videos of speeches. We had never even heard of a teleprompter app. I read that this could upload the text he had already written in Word. In less than an hour we had added the Video App and produced great results, reviewed them and shared them with the editor on staff. If I can do this, ANYONE can!

Good, and worth money, but needs improvement. This app has made a world of difference in my video production, and I got by with the free version for months until I wanted to move files to and from Dropbox. My biggest complaint is that for some reason, a script will loose Bluetooth connection to my external keyboard. It's frustrating and the only workaround is to keep reconnecting. If they can fix that one bug, it'll be golden!

Great product!. As a cast member on the American Dream TV show, I do a minimum of 2-3 shoots per month and it is so rough to remember lines when a camera is on you! This teleprompter is far superior to the others I have tried! Update: the creator of this app has now created this for your phone!!! In the Real Estate industry we now need to do virtual showings and this prompter helps make these virtual showings so much easier and helps to speak professionally!!! Thank you Joe Allen!!!

The New Teleprompter Premium!. I just got through using the new teleprompter app to record a new video that my IT guy said I needed fast. No problem with this great tool. Wrote a minute script in word then simply imported it into teleprompter, adjusted the speed and after just two takes I and with my partners iPhone, my new video was ready to roll! Bluetooth media player does not work. I upgraded to the premium package so that I could use Bluetooth media player to control the app. It didn’t work and I had to send three emails to get a response back. It turns out it is an Apple issue. However, they provided instructions on how to fix it. It works now and it is a very easy app. If they would have responded after the first message, they would have gotten five stars.

Quirky editing finicky. It works great once you have your manuscript loaded but the editing tools are finicky and crashes often quick fix is to exit out of the app and come back in, but it’s a nuisance. Sometimes it lights up all together. it does the same thing on my MAC book, so I don’t think it’s my devices ! I have a two hour meeting I’m going into about an hour we’ll see how it performs live.

Doesn’t get better.. I have nothing but good words to say. This is entirely user friendly and does exactly what it claims and what is needed. I’ll admit I was pleasantly surprised, but now I would recommend this to anyone who wants or needs a teleprompter. I use the premium option with a mirror screen physical device and this app features text size, font, and flip options that are easy to use and work smoothly. Easy rate of feed control. Get it.

Teleprompter Premium. It does what you say it will do...but the extra benefit was the service I got when I needed a little help. Joe stayed with me through three email exchanges and truly showed the service behind the product. I put in my first script and it works perfectly.
