Express plus child support.. After many years of being unable to access letters etc from CSA on a MAC computer, this seemed like a great opportunity to streamline payments etc. However, the app is completely useless. No, it’s worse than that. Had to reset password in an attempt to get it to work, which then screwed up existing password etc for other MyGov apps. Now the app loads, however, has no functionality what so ever. Grimsgl.
Annoying. This app is never working properly havent been able to access the payment option for months and now i cant even get into the app been like this for weeks and has made me change my pin so many times i cant keep track of it each time
No longer working. It worked until I update my phone with latest update- app no longer works. I deleted and downloaded again, still doesn’t work. App will open but not allow me to navigate through any of the icons, so is now useless
Incompetent. Staff at the agency refer you to the app every time you call so I finally download the app. First encounter, there’s technical issues they’re trying to fix. Total incompetence. Child support issues are stressful enough as it is without adding a layer of technical incompetence on their part on top. An app is meant to provide a more efficient way of dealing with a complex process, this app does not do that. The department needs to spend some dollars on a professional app building team to get this right.
App is useless and doesn’t work. The app used to work until your latest update and since then it never works. It makes it impossible to make my regular payment and hence have spent hours and hours on hold trying to sort out issues. Get your act together and fix this app.
Disgrace. Absolute disgrace of an app....says everything really how much the Govt wants to answer our questions! Something as simple as a chat or messaging service not available. Only way to ask a 30 second question is to sit on hold for 30 minutes !
Much needed new upgrade. Good improvements making the app easy to use and meaningful
Always issues. Get it fixed for christ sake. So sick and tired of logging in only to have it not work or say your having ‘technical issues’ then when you finally do work again I have change my password only to tell me the same thing. About ready to delete the dam app all together
App still doesn’t work. I live with NFA so I need this app to work, I am unable to open up letters, change of income has said it is unavailable for more than 6months now.. you are the first to ring when the payment is late however payment would be on time is the app worked as it is supposed to!
Freezes when paying. Used to work fine. Now freezes every time Payment option is selected.. so it is now useless to me. It has been like this for months now. I have deleted, reinstalled. No good. No other option than to laboriously log in online and pay there. Frustrating.
Shocking. Considering this app is a Government agency it is never working keeps telling me error. I’ve deleted app and still isn’t working, I’ve turned phone off and on still not working. Tried to get help with app not working and it just tells me to do what I’ve already done. It’s been 2 weeks and still not working. Pointless and waste of space on my phone. But not surprising it is Childsupport 🙄
Another Government Failure. App use to work, then got a new phone. App updated. Now can’t open payment option. Freezes straight away. New phone or old phone. I work remotely this is the only way I can pay & get a receipt. I had the app issue elevated by CSA to a priority issue two months ago, still not a word on when it will be repaired. This was after reporting it not working early in the year. “Priority” yeah right....
0 Rating. For a govt dept. this is an appalling app. Half the time I try to use it, it asks me to reset my pin and of course you cant use your previous pin and so cant keep up with all the different previous pins! Then the other half of the time I cant log on because it has issues!
Pointless. As usual, an app that is supposed to help the continuity and usability of child support turns out to do the opposite... since the update I can not even pay my child support... yet the number they suggest you call is incorrect and they can’t help you anyway... if I miss a payment it’s my fault... not the apps... maybe allow multiple sign ins for multiple devices too... if I could score any lower I would...
Freezes screen once selected an option. This app used to work perfect until a couple of months ago. It now is basically useless as it freezes and won’t let you into past the home screen of app. Please fix
In need of an Update. No Fingerprint or Face ID login. I’m now due DZD amounts as it doesn’t want to show properly on my new iPhone. Had heaps of problems having 2 phones connected to the one account. Update Jan 2019 My pet peeve is having to change my password every 3 months. Like clockwork. I don’t even have to do this for my centerlink app. I don’t even know why we need a password when they’d first have to manipulate my face in order to get into my phone anyway. It also used to tell me my last payments and this has been missing for quite some time. I’m curious to know when I was last payed CS seeing as I have quite a significant debt owing to me. I would have complained to the developers but the App Support link doesn’t have it. Might want to do something about that too. Then you could maybe troubleshoot genuine bugs. For those having problems with logging in with the myGov user name. Wait for all the characters to change to a blue dot before pressing done/submit.
Total waste of time. If I could rate it 0 stars I would! App is never online. Have not been able to access it for more than a year. Support staff cannot answer when, or if at all, it will be operational. With the Department of Human Services other apps being so efficient and accessible (Centrelink Plus and Medicare) why is this most integral access point being left by the wayside?? Phone calls don’t get answered in less than 45 mins yet without this app working every time you want to check a payment or past payment amount or any other self serviceable issue, you still have to call and clog up the wait queues to have a staff member look it up for you! Come on overpaid gov tech personnel- get it up and running!
Please Fix Payment Information. Can you please amend the part of your app that says how much is OWING, not just amount due. The previous version would say what was remaining to pay for the month after payments were made, Now, it does not. Thank You.
Absolute Rubbish. Worked fine. Now it won’t even let you enter details to log in, without coming up with and error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and still can’t get it to work. It has been like this for weeks, so frustrating. Do NOT waste your time with this APP!
If it ain't broke don't fix it. I like the old app worked fine, so don't keep changing things you trying to improve have become fools. And I don't like MY GOV I don't want it. So why force it on me before the due date? What's the hurry. Shouldn't be forced on anyone at all. It's Total Government complete central control
Doesn’t work. It used to be awesome and do everything it should. Now all you get is the home screen. Can’t access any of the features. Needs major updates so we can utilise the features. This app is now pointless and I have to log onto the MyGov website.
Stuck. I cannot access the app. I call and they keep referring me to the app. It’s like a Catch-22 loop. Family issues are hard enough without this added stress. Please someone fix this. There are (tax-paying) people trying to do the right thing for their (Australian citizen) children,
Appalling, totally useless. There is no means of getting income assessed in order to determine payments. There is no way of contacting the department - the app just directs you to the child support phone line. This App is nothing more than a way of obstructing the public from contacting a government department.
Frustrating. Think app was working fine until recently. But this last week it comes up with “technical error” while logging in. Then it logs me out. Then it’s like opening it for the first time and asks me for a PIN number to access the app, when I type in the existing PIN it says I’ve used that number before. I now have entered that many new PINs I can’t remember what’s what..... very frustrating. Just let me use my existing number and stop logging me out!!!!
Useless. Unable to log in and haven’t been able too for a long time, I don’t know what is up with this app and how their services work online but I can’t access CS from mygov either. You’d think with the technology available they’d be able to work it out, but seems they would much rather sit on the phone to customers complaining
Garbage. Like the department itself, the system & their staff; this app is garbage don’t bother downloading. This app has been unusable for months and months. You would expect better from a government department.
Completely Unusable. How can something so important be so incapable? I would not be directing people to use the app as a channel to maintain Child Support info until you can a) actually log in and b) perform the functions it needs to I can’t even get past the log in screen
It works sometimes. It works for the most part but it frequently stops working by ignoring touch input and I can’t do anything except close it and try again with no luck.
When will this work properly??. I haven’t been able to make payments through the app for many months. It often crashes or freezes. I’ve had apps made and it’s really not that hard. Please get it back on track.
Absolutely useless.. So hopeless as per usual from services Australia. ‘Error’ logging in. Cannot log in. Have to wait on hold for at least an hour and still no fix. No alternative. Pathetic
Flawed security. 12 hour lock out if you enter your password incorrectly is NOT a security feature, it's a punishment. Please consider your users and update your security to something modern.
Pathetic. Never works. For something so important, this App is absolutely pathetic. Never works even if deleted and re-installed. Developers don’t care about fixing despite ongoing complaints. Just ring the CSA if you need anything, you won’t get it sorted using this app
The whole system is a joke. Since I got the App none of my letters arrive on the webpage version of child support and can only be accessed by the App. Problem is the App never works, it always has an issue, forgets my login credentials, fails to load etc etc. I can not see any of my letters and it’s a complete joke. I just want to pay child support for my child without all these issues and even the guy on the phone said ‘that’s a tech issue, nothing to do with us, I’m sure it’ll be fixed one day’ 🙄 great. In the meantime I’ll guess my payments
Disgrace. I have contacted CSA 11 times now over the past 3yrs to report functions of the app that simply do not work. If you click on the ‘Update Income Estimate’ or ‘Change in Care’ it shuts you out of the app and you have to log back in again....... 3yrs of complaining and nothing gets fixed. It’s a disgrace and whoever runs this organisation should be sacked. I won’t even talk about the half hour on hold to speak to anyone.
Constant issues. It’s rare I can actually use the app - it’s always frozen on the home page and I can’t access letters or payments. I also HATE how it syncs up with Medicare so you are logged in as the same person automatically for both apps.
So disappointing 👎. This is unusable. I’m sure others have said this - such a waste when it’s an integral app to human services. Staff haven’t been able to provide any answers about if it will ever be up and working. Leaves you phoning up for simple questions which could be answered in app. Previous updates I found to work sporadically at least, this one has never worked. No update in SIX MONTHS!!! Not good enough. That is way too long for a fix in my opinion. Such a disappointment for parents who are just as time restricted as the rest. Being on the phone for long waits can be torturous in some situations. The focus should be on the app improvement ASAP - then we can always focus on the most important, our Children.
Missing something important. Easy to work and find your way around but what happened to the calendar that used to be included? Was handy to convert straight to child support for care evidence
Disappointed. No option to just login without myGov, used to be just simple…now you have to have myGov just to use it, no way. Not going to be pushed to use something that I don’t t want just access a simple app. You don’t give people choices.
Terrible app. Shocking how bad this app is. It won't let me sign in. I used to be able to sign in and then one day recently it just stopped letting me sign in. I deleted the app from my phone and re-downloaded it but the problem still exists! 😡😡
Useless. The app used to be bad but after the recent upgrade it is totally useless!!!! Payment history used to show anticipated payment date but new app shows when payment was received and doesn’t show when payment is expected to be received - worst app ever!!!
Just doesn’t work... Sometimes I can log in.. sometimes I can’t. Most of the time all I get is a black screen. Still the same information, but set up differently. Can only see the debt owed of you go into payment history, unlike previous update where it was all there. No inbox update (prior to update I had 20+ letters in my inbox.. now 0.. even though there should be at least two recent ones..) Pointless. And always leads you to calling anyway...
Was good but fails now. This was a great app, easy to use and payments were a breeze, but after the last update it does not respond to touch input. So all but very basic functionality exists. You would think better quality testing exists for a government app.
App crashing. The app had been crashing since last night. Appreciate the use of this app as haven’t encountered issues before and worked fine for its purpose.
Unusable. I’ve been trying to log into this app for the past week and it continues to say error login I’ve uninstalled and installed several times and it continues to say an error.
App needs work. Please fix this app I cannot make payments on this app at all it just freezes when I click on payments & wont do anything at all, please fix this issue, using an iPhone for this app
Payments. As soon as you click on payments the app freezes, been like that now for 12 months, it’s so frustrating 😡
Just like the department - useless. ‘Nuff said. Seriously though - the app is crashing and freezing after iOS 11 so the best I can do is read new mail, and only once, before it decides to freeze. Anyone reading this; until the bugs are fixed - it’s pretty much useless, looks to have been for a while, I’m not sure how they handle bug tracking and management but it seems to have been this way for a while.
Doesn’t work. First time I used it I was able to view the letters I have received but half of them were blank. Then I tried to view other parts of the app and it became unresponsive. Restarted app multiple times but then couldn’t access anything.
Hopeless. It keeps coming up with an error and come back later! Then I have to reset my password again!!! I am running out of numbers as it won’t let me use a previous combination! Terrible very frustrating and it has been happening for days now!
I love this app keeping me up to date. I couldn’t sign in for like 2 weeks, I would turn off my phone turn it back on I would delete and re-add the app, kept coming up with a error.. I had to click sign in as someone else even though it looked like no one was signed into the app.. all fixed now but I guess it’s a issue other people could have
