希望增加从文件倒入音视频识别功能. 希望新版本可以增加从文件导入音视频的识别功能，毕竟有些需求是想从音频视频里面快速的提取文本，让看的效率变得更高。

Very accurate. While the accuracy of this app is impressive, it does not address my immediate needs. I use VoiceOver and voice control simultaneously and need live transcription to allow for immediate edits before copying the text to be used in other apps. The accuracy when using voice control is pretty pathetic often requiring words to be spelled out letter by letter to avoid capitalization errors and vulgarity from being inserted when it wasn't spoken even though I am in a very quiet place. I will let several of my friends know about this app. It is pretty rare these days to find an app without subscriptions which is greatly appreciated for those of us on a very limited disability income.

Wonderful App with a Hardworking Dev. Had a small feature request and was fulfilled and updated within a week. I hope this app goes far.

Not working. Your app seems to be broken. All I get is the search function at the top of the screen, and when I hit record record something it doesn’t record a thing. you might want to check into this, not working at all.

Amazing. I love this app on my phone and computer. Simple and precise. Far better than siri for spelling and punctuation. Copies directly to clipboard when finished for pasting into any app you want.

Works well, but no batch export. This app is straightforward and works well. @Yeonni, Please add batch export! Batch exporting all text would help me organize and categorize my thoughts using an LLM (fast) What this app does: Record your thoughts (mostly accurately) by speaking them out loud throughout the day. You can keep the audio recordings if you want. You can select a voice clip/transcript to copy it. (But can’t export/“copy all text” all at once)

No real-time transcription. Nice that it can work offline, however other apps offer real-time audio transcription, which make this app feel outdated.

Great, mostly. The app does what it says and totally worth $3. That said, I lost an important recording because I think iOS terminated the app in the background before transcription completed. I think that recording may be lost now? I hope not. It would be nice if we could defer transcription until later when I know I’ll have time for longer notes

This app is a gem. It provides an easy and minimal to use UI.. The accuracy is quite good, enough for casual note taking. Especially it also supports the audio recordings. I only have one wish of batch export and delete those exported. My intention is to export the notes to my journal system. Thanks for creating and sharing such wonderful tool!

Consider adding a chime. Great app! Because it takes quite a bit of time to process before copying the transcription to your clipboard, please consider adding a chime after processing is complete so you don’t need to check the screen every few seconds to know.

Please make a real time subtitle function. It does have a high accuracy. But it can be better with real time transcript!

Misleading....not a working app. I paid the money and installed on my iMac. It doesn't do a thing. Not usuable in this state. From what I now see is this is just the frame work. Not clear in the app description. Wasted 2.99!

Actually free! No catch!. Whisper is a pain to install on the Mac if you don't already have a bunch of frameworks installed. It's great to have a graphic itnerface for it from a free program. I only wish there was a way to delete unused languages and alter settings via the GUI.

Good so far. Please add shortcut support. Importing and exporting is cumbersome.

Only for Real Geeks. This app does not work without a lot of old school out-of-date help. Like you need to install ffmpeg using Homebrew (whatever that is) and then specify the file to transcribe using command line input. Way too complicated for 2024.

Please integrate into iMessage better. Allow either an auto share so you can pick a message to send the text to or integrate into an iMessage app. This would seal the deal for this app. Thanks.

Great app!. This is a wonderful speech-to-text app -- so much more accurate than Appl'e Siri voice transcription. Maybe 3% as many errors. Will it ever support Metal or the neural engine to improve performance? UPDATE: I recently did a lecture transcript from an audio file, and the last 80% or so of the text lacked any punctuation -- just a huge stream of words with no commas, periods, etc. It would be fantastic, but maybe difficult or impossible?, to have WhisperNotes reliably add not only punctuation but also paragraph breaks. thanks!

Simply amazing. The app works well, there could some UI improvements that would make this app easier to understand upon opening, the functionality is solid. This App truly works offline, this is really useful for journalist, and other jobs that require complete privacy. The developer has done some solid work :), I encourage you to include some more UI elements upon launching the all, when you have no recordings, and maybe thinking through the UX design process. Other than that excellent app 😁great job!

Works ok. You need to hit the pause button for it to transcribe. I was expecting it to transcribe as I spoke probably Siri is better. They need to do some pause detection and automatically transcribe as it listens at the same time

Talked for 1 hour and never transcribed. It never transcribed what I voiced for 1 hour.

Money back please.. This only records one sentence and then the mic turns off. If the sentence is too long, too bad. It just stops recording. What is the use in that? I would like my money back please.

Doesn’t process imported files.. I enabled “Allow Import Audio File”, selected an MP3 file, opened it, and it did nothing. No error, no progress, no indication anywhere that it had done anything. I suppose free apps are worth every penny you pay.

crashes all the time. not responsive nor snappy at all and crashed multiple times when playing the audio right after I downloaded it. The UI seems outdated as well(personal opinion) This app is definitely overrated.

Updated Review (Works on iPad Now). For some reason Apple won’t let me update my review, but I’m the one who submitted the “Great on Phone, Doesn’t work on iPad” review. Since updating to 18.3 the app does indeed work.

No camera roll uploads?. Just purchased because it said you can upload videos but it only allows from the files not your camera roll.

Does not work on iPhone SE. I wish I had read all of the reviews before purchasing. This does not transcribe even very short (5-second) audio clips on my device. It sounds like other people have had the same issue.

Not working. Only worked well for a few days. After that, the transcription produced mostly gibberish in the form of place holder text for noises despite the fact that speech was clear in the recording. Even audio that had previously been transcribed well produced the same when re-transcribed.

Minimal shortcuts integration. The main app itself works fine but I just wanted something that I can transcribe from audio to text in Apple Shortcuts. The integration is minimal and not particularly useful.

Lost 2 of my hours long recordings. After I click end it doesn’t show up in the main screen. Also the app is broken after that happens, I wasn’t able to do any recording, restarting doesn’t help.

Does not work. I bought the app and recorded a 20 minute call. No matter what I do it will crash trying to process the transcript. Wish I didn’t buy the app.

Piece of Garbage - DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE. Very disappointed by the performance of this software. Did not work at all, even with the more advanced model option. My entire audio file simply imported as “Thank You” over and over again (not anything like the audio in the recording). Save your money. Do not buy this software.

Transcribed a meeting into gibberish. Whisper transcribed my meeting with various measurements in centimeters. No centimeters were mentioned in the meeting. The audio is perfectly audible.

Crashes on Tahoe. The release before the latest one was great. But the one that is now available in the Apple Store (early 2026) crashes upon opening. Removing and reinstalling does not help.

Необходимо обновление. iPhone 13 Pro При расшифровке аудиозаписи длительностью в 2 часа приложение начинает зависать. Моё предположение - из-за того, что на экране выводится текст в реальном времени и длина текста слишком большая для нормального отображения. Добавьте возможность делать расшифровку в фоновом режиме, или возможность выйти из просмотра расшифровки в реальном времени. Спасибо.

My audio had areas of silence. Doesn’t handle silence in audio well. Perhaps you should provide a squelch adjustment as expected whisper doesn’t like silence.

Refunding it. I’m talking but it still gets things wrong. Maybe it’s my southern accent…
