Express Plus Centrelink Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

It works, but don’t rely on it. Mostly it works, but there is a lot that does not. 1. Digital Wallet is not working for me on iPhone 5. 2. When you upload documents using your phone, it does not seem to sync them with your online account. For example I uploaded a rent certificate using my phone and several days later checked online with my computer. It does not show that I have upload. So, no doubt will need to call them. And this is the point of all this tech, it has so many glitches, you still need to spend 1 hour on hold to clarify stuff. I am sure I will find more faults, but this is just after 1 hour of use.

Upload does not work. Neither web based nor the Centrelink app process the upload of the documents. Without the documents it won’t let me to submit the claim. Ironically the documents are showing in the history of the upload for past 2 days 6x, however I am still unable to submit the claim. More frustrating is that Centrelink has these documents already as part of my 2 other claims submitted just 2 days ago and one of them has been already processed. So they read it with all attachments right? But they want the exactly same ones again ( they did not change within 2 days), but will not let me to upload. Soooo frustrating 😕

Buggy. I have had this app installed for a long time but I haven’t used it so I can’t really comment on all the difficulties everyone is talking about. However, I can have a big whinge about this poorly written masterpiece of software that for over 3 months had interfered with the PDF handling of email attachments in the iOS mail app. Unbeknownst to myself, the apple geniuses, and elevated levels of Apple support, this ridiculous app took over the PDF file associations for the built in mail app without the ability to handle PDF documents. For months I couldn’t open any PDF attachments without explanation on both iOS 12 and 13. Thanks to iOS 13 accidentally giving me a clue as to the offending app by newly displaying the Centrelink icon where my PDF documents should have been. APP DELETED... full email function restored. Even though I’m fully employed and don’t require the services of Centrelink, they somehow managed to inconvenience my life, I can understand how the other reviewers feel. I hope the developers read this because there is no other way to tell them what I have discovered. Well done !!

App was fine, then they “updated”.. Going from running well and being easy to report, now reporting takes three times as long, where as instead of leaving something blank would before be 0, now you need to scroll and type 0 in. As someone who works on the hour and has no travel time, that’s typing in 0 three times for every shift, where you have to tap out to scroll down to type again, where before it wasn’t retarded to not know that being left blank meant nothing to say! Oh, that, and being left hanging after you click submit and the app crashing.. oh and you cannot report split shifts or when you get two seperate pay rates. I have to split one shift across 2 days, unlike before when you could just add it ontop of what you already had for the day. Utter failure, bring back the only timesheet, because employment diary is worse than handwriting it and mailing it off, at least I don’t lag at the postal box and then drop the letter.

Get a life. There are so many people whinging about how they don’t get notifications when they need to report or they can’t load a document to the vault because it’s a digital cope etc etc This app is so easy to use a 2 year old could do it never had an issue can upload documents digital or paper with digital I take a screen shot of it duh can Make claims view payments see notifications of tasks that are outstanding it’s seriously not that hard

I can’t report using the app. I’ve struggled for months to report using the app, it lets me open the window to report but I can’t tap on any of the options. I have had to call up every fortnight to report for 6 months now. I’ve deleted and redownloaded, It’s happening even on my brand new phone too. The app doesn’t need updating either and I’ve tried logging out and in again. It’s extremely frustrating and if I could give it 0 stars I would. I’ve tried reporting the problem to Centrelink staff when I’ve called up, just to be told it’s happening to a lot of people but they can’t do anything about it.

Centrelink can’t handle a crisis and neither can their app. I am a full-time student that had to leave home due to my studies and abuse early this year. Because of my age I am still considered a dependent despite what my home life was like and due to the current state of things I lost two jobs before I even started. Despite all this my claim was rejected. On top of that the app would crash making it difficult to check and update my claim, so I would call them to update information and I later found out that they never updated that information, which could have led to my claim being rejected. So no I’m scared of what will happen if I can’t find a job before I run out of money. Thanks a lot Centrelink, I hope that one day the people in management can go through something like this and then they may actually treat people like human beings.

Run, run far away. This app, and the entirety of the Centrelink system, I am convinced is only designed to cause clients maximum anguish to punish them. I don’t even know where to begin with how utterly terrible they are. Someone on their phone system even told me I “should be suicidal,” about having my payments cut and then immediately hung up on me. I’ve had my address given out to strangers including to people who has sexually assaulted me in the past. I’ve been screamed at, hung up on, ignored, and bullied/harassed. I’ve quite literally had to dox my own account info online before they would suspend my account and even then they’ll barely leave me alone. This is after they’ve been informed that my treatment team (GP, psychologist, psychiatrist) all agree that Centrelink completely ceasing harassing me will be the best thing for my mental health. My account is finally suspended yet they continue harassing me, knowing exactly how damaging their being as they’ve been told quite literally 50+ times. I keep blocking emails and texts and they keep harassing me from new ones. This is terrifying. Run as far as you can away from this corporation.

As user friendly as calling them on the phone. Every time I log in it asks me to sign up for electronic letters so I go through the process and then it asks again the next time I log in. It only shows one letter from last year and no other communication. I am also required to submit changes to my circumstances which the website tells people to do through the app but there is no function to do so? Unnecessarily confusing and doesn’t offer any of the services that the MyGov website claims should be able to be processed via the app. Why have an app that doesn’t do any of the things it claims to do?

Centerlink express plus app inbox error. Can someone help me? I have a centerlink app when I log on iit’s ok?but when I want to see my inbox an error comes up saying error loading inbox. I would appreciate if someone can fix it Tks. Also if someone can reply to my message I would really appreciate. Another question today the 31st March I try to log in and it said the old Center express app will no longer be used I need to download the new one I went to the App Store and there is no new centerlink app only the old one can someone please help tks

Useless. This app doesn’t load and yet it says it has loaded. There are tech issues with this app and when you call Centrelink for assistance, wait for 2 years to speak to someone for help, the operators couldn’t care less. The operator I last tried to discuss this issue with, couldn’t distinguish with myGov and the express app for reporting purposes. Obviously they’re not very well trained either. Come on Centrelink, pick up your game. How disgraceful and antiquated is the service for a major government service. There’s also nowhere to take this to if there’s any glitches with the app. It means we can’t report. But then governments of course, will not ever take any accountability for their app issues.

Terrible App. Throw it out. Start again.. I’ve only just started using this App for communications with Centrelink and it has to be the biggest failure to come from our Government since Gladys let the Ruby Princess empty it’s Covid Load all over Sydney’s docks. Every time I log in it links the MyGovID, then next time tells me I have to link it again, only to be told it’s already linked. Then it de-registers my login and tells me to try again. Only Bill Murray would be impressed. Nothing ever loads. Hit the mail box and the spinny loading symbol just swirls around like it’s waiting on some 1997 dial up. I hope we haven’t wasted too much of my tax dollaridoos on this useless app.

It’s getting worse over time. Hello, the app doesn’t work, I’m logged in and have a warning stating I need to check my income estimate. I click on it and get a warning: ‘URL doesn’t exist’ I click on the change estimate button, that doesn’t work either. I call Centrelink, I get placed in a loop and then the call asks me to either use the app or call back later. There is literally no one at this tax payer funded, bureaucratic run black hole that can help. My wife survived leukaemia and now can’t walk, she got taken off disability pension because I got a pay rise and earn 200$ more then the cut off. Now she is paying hundreds more per month for medications. Well done social welfare, the people that actually need it get chucked in the mud

Poor (needs improvement). The content on the app itself is great, you can do nearly anything on it that you can do online. However the app interface, software and optimisation for iPhones needs some big improvements, the app for myself and many of my friends who also have it find it to be very sluggish and (particularly for iPhones). Furthermore it would be nice to have a refresh on the old interface and give it a fresh face once you open the app. It’s looking outdated and plain; to have a new look would do this app some good. Other than this, it will do everything you need it to do, with some lag here and there!

System is hard to navigate round. The system is extremely hard to navigate round. I think it’s deliberately done this way so you give up. I found it really hard to upload a form as it would not accept the form numbers. How, was I suppose to know not to use the first three letters of the form. Subsequently I tried to communicate by phone, but waited another 44minutes before being told I’d need to go in to Centrelink. When, I eventually could take a day off to get there the lady said to go to the computer and submit the form myself as she could not accept the forms I tried to give her. Eventually was told only the last lot of numbers on the form were to be used not the SV and another letter which I can’t remember now. Wasted, so many hours on something that should have been so easy.

DESIGNED TO DETER YOU FROM MAKING A CLAIM. This app just like Centerlink itself is designed to deter you from attempting to make a claim, and receive a support fund you are entitled too. I made a claim two and a half weeks ago, it required seven calls with Centerlink and two calls with Work Force Australia. Two of the calls with Centerlink were due to a ridiculous error they managed to make twice, after the issue was finally resolved (two and half weeks later) they denied the claim for no apparent reason. I’m currently making my eighth call to Centerlink to try resolve this obscenity. It’s honestly scary to think that one could be in severe financial hardship, and Centerlink will make it as difficult as possible to receive the financial help they so desperately need. Equally scary is the thought that this abysmal service will only continue to grow.

Why Only One Device?. One of the worst things about this app is that you can only use it with ONE device! If you try to login to the app from say an iPad after previously using it on your iPhone the registration for the iPhone is lost and you can no longer use it from that device without reregistering it (and thereby deregistering the iPad). This happens even if you have logged out of the app from the other device. This is insane! You can use the MyGov app with multiple devices, why not Centrelink Express Plus? You login to this app using your MyGov credentials just like you do with the MyGov app, so why is this app limited to only one device? And why is this information not documented anywhere? It's 2024, most people have more than one device and it's way overdue that Centrelink Express Plus recognised this fact and can be used on multiple devices.

Centrelink joke. Seriously contemplating doing myself harm. This app was updated a month ago and I’ve had issues every time I use it. I guess that’s what happens when you give the new boy who has a brother who can lend him a computer so he can design a new update for the app. At least you got him out of your hair for a while but now we are afflicted with hours of frustration and wasted time each fortnight when we have to report our earnings for the age pension. Would give it half a star if I could. And that’s because the music while waiting for the help desk isn’t so bad. Though I’m bored with doing the voice recognition recording every friggin time I call. I had to do it twice today as I was suddenly cut off 30 seconds after my call was finally answered and no I was very calm and chilled while talking to the really nice person who finally after 40 minutes managed to talk to me. Basically I can’t use this app on my phone anymore and have to complete my report on a desktop. Well done Centrelink.

De registered and authenticating nightmare. The app when it works is great , but when it doesn’t it’s a nightmare. For no reason it would de register and when you try to re register you end up going to the ‘Authenticating’ screen that would take a good solid 15 mins before it tells you you have signed out and there you re register... see the pattern . A vicious circle, absolute rubbish and useless. Just like Centrelink , you get taken on a nightmare journey for everything. End up completing 5 forms , speaking to 10 different people and will take about a month if not more of your time to resolve if ever . Giving people who are trying stress and anxiety.

Useless. What a pain to use! Every time I open the app to login, the app attempts to load but then doesn’t. I haven’t even gotten to the point of entering the pin and it continues to de-register my phone from the app. Then I try to log back in and it tells me my password is wrong, then locks my account and I have to change my password every time this happens… then I cannot reuse previous passwords and have to change my password to log back in and it is a whole process that is not user friendly at all. I don’t have to worry about my account being hacked because I can’t even access it myself.

Easy reporting but not always effective. Pretty good app but it doesn’t allow you to view your partners details, even if your accounts are linked/have permission to act on their behalf. Makes it hard for me to budget when I can’t just use the app and view all our info in one place. Also, when trying to report a change in circumstance, this is often impossible on the app and I end up having to call Centrelink anyway (eg report going back to work post maternity leave). Otherwise, it’s a handy app that lets me easily and quickly report my income (once the call centre operator set it up) and is straightforward and easy to use.

Developers STILL locking out cross-device use. Despite numerous complaints, the developers of this app continue to prevent use on more than one device. Use this app at your peril if you want to try accessing your Centrelink details on more than one device (not at the same time, obviously). I would have thought the idea of online access is to allow users to access what they want on anything, anywhere. You can if you just use a browser - on your phone, iPad, Mac or PC - but not with this app. Now they have carried their error over into this update which forces users to access CentreLink through MyGov (2-factor authentication is a good thing - but why prevent cross-device use?)

This is an app designed to confuse people.. This app is obviously designed to confuse and scam anyone who is actually trying to find and keep a job. There is nothing intuitive about it. Every time I try to use this app I have a panic attack. Whoever designed the latest update is either a psychopath who did it on purpose to destroy any chance of someone getting back on their feet or a total idiot who was given free reign for their total lack of understanding of the life of a person trying to find and keep a job. Every time I use it I feel like giving up on life. I’m always worried that I’ll miscalculate and end up getting one of those robodebt death sentences you people have been handing out. Why would you not have some sort of calculator? I get paid weekly on a Tuesday and somehow I’m meant to predict how long I will work every second Wednesday on top of a weird, staggered, week and a half, trying to work out from my payslip what hours went where! It’s like you are intentionally trying to mess with my head because I’m trying to do the right thing! Why sabotage someone who is actually trying to get work? I’m recovering from chronic anxiety and doing my best to get back in the work force and this is really not helpful!! PLEASE THINK ABOUT HOW PEOPLE ACTUALLY USE THIS APP AND DESIGN IT APPROPRIATELY. I’m doing my best to do my job properly, how about you guys trying to help me rather than trying to undermine me??

Wasting everyone’s time. When I go to report on my phone and accidentally tick the wrong box (when it’s a yes or no option) I am unable to fix my mistake or go back or change my report. This means I have to call Centrelink and not only waste my time but the time of your employees. Ways to fix this would be giving a back option in the form of an arrow (such as google search does). Another way would be when answering yes or no questions once you’ve answered the question make it ask you are you sure, if yes click to continue. I was extremely frustrated however the person I called to fix this was absolutely lovely.

Worst app i’ve ever experienced. wow. i just mean wow. what a massive fail. almost as much as a fail as the whole centrelink system. i guess it falls in line with the failure of everything centrelink i mean i’m a techy person but i can only just scrape by using this app. it just makes things worse i can’t imagine my nan or aunties and uncles ever using this without a massive struggle. i feel sorry for all the elderly people that don’t use technology very often trying to use this app and then when you get feed up with it and finally make a trip to a centrelink (that usually wastes your whole day) the staff there (which are usually just as much of a fail as this app except a rare few) refer you to the app or the website (which is terrible as well) and say something like “der um yeah it’s like so totally easy to use” but they are never willing to help you and if they actually do its fails embarrasses them to the point of taking you back to their desk to do everything manually for you. and they say something like “errr it must be having some technical issues at the moment” seriously i can’t actually believe this app made it through the check points.

So many glitches. There is this glitch that has been around for ages where if you have a pending task, I.e. you need to upload a document, when you tap on that task in the Upload Document screen, nothing happens. This glitch has happened for ages and I have reinstalled to no avail. I have to do it on the website instead. Except when I try to upload evidence for the end of my Employment, when I click the upload button it redirects me and says I can’t as I have already advised end of employment — except I need to upload the document to prove it but because of these two different app and website glitches I can’t do it!

Difficult and stupid update. The new update to report hours and income is causing me more stress than is needed to do a once simple task that took a few minutes. Some reports I’m reporting two weeks worked hours and only one weeks wages a week or two after the fact because I “haven’t been paid yet”. Bring back the time sheet, it’s much harder to keep track of your hours and you are not able to add in the minutes you worked. I have to triple check going back and forth between this app, the calendar app and my employers time sheet app to make sure I’ve got it all correct because I’m so worried I’ll make a mistake and get a another debt from being over paid. Then throw in a public holiday and I have to report early and it throws it all out of whack again making it even more confusing the following report. Please listen to what users are saying. This system is now complete dud!!

Problem with updating Timesheet. When I try to input the times I've worked into the Timesheet section of the app it doesn't allow me to input the time I've worked. Employer name comes up with a "tick" so works fine, as does the hourly rate, but after I put in the time the input bar shakes and goes red. I've tried putting in different amounts of time but still get the same result. I can do it on my computer but it would be easier to do through the app because you don't have to navigate through as many things as the website.

Utter garbage. I’ve tried for the last 3 hours to upload documents for my mum that has dementia. I’d hoped to save myself standing in line at a Centrelink office for the first time in 25 years, but the website doesn’t work I tried this app in the hope it worked, unfortunately no it has the same issues the website has, it’s an upload portal that doesn’t accept uploads. I’m a full time IT Systems Engineer and I’ve worked in I.T for 25 years and so I’d call myself educated when it comes to all things computers so I feel I have more than enough knowledge to click “upload” on a simple PDF, apparently not. It will happily preview all files, so it can read files however clicking upload results in error, try again over and over. The portal and app don’t accept PDFs from Pc, Mac or iPad. They don’t accept it from browsers like Safari, Edge or Chrome. Most would blame your IT department but I’m sure they like me they are well aware the blame is with managers or the bean counters trying to build a system to support a country by saving every last cent they can cutting corners whilst being told by IT you can’t do that. This product and the entire Centrelink experience is designed to make people give up, as a person that hasn’t needed to use this service in so long, seeing it hasn’t changed is disappointing but not surprising. All I want to do is upload a document, how can it be this hard?

My review was deleted.. My previous review for this app has been deleted !! This app needs constant updates but no fixes or features have come as a result, I can't just report fortnightly without a visit to the App Store each time, almost like having to buy a mug every time I want a coffee There are no notifications of tasks or changes to my account which can (for some people, luckily not me...yet) to pause or lose their payments. The notifications that the app used to have seemed to work ok just to remind you it's reporting day but they have been completely removed or hidden. Very poor quality app even for a government department, devs should be ashamed for building such garbage and dragging their feet just to keep the job while people aus wide are struggling to find one !!

Just keeps getting worse not better.. After updating multiple times, attempting to log in multiple times only to be told that I have a pin and I should use that next time (hard to do when your system keeps deauthorizing the only device I use to access this app) and then after finally getting through the myGov login on to sit there and stare at the screen telling me it’s authorising for over two hours before I finally decide it’s not worth trying anymore. I’ve been using this app for several years now and this is the first time I’ve had this issue and it’s been going on for months at this point. Every single time I close the app it seems to deauthorize my device. But every time I’ve attempted to log in with myGov I get an email saying it was successful and then I spend hours staring at the authorising screen spinning in a circle and getting nowhere. Sometimes, eventually it will log in, today it is most certainly not. This along with the fact that you can only report in full hour increments which isn’t reflective of the hours I work, this has always been a finicky app to use but it’s rapidly going downhill fast and when the only other real option is to get on the phone then this is beyond unacceptable.

Getting annoyed. Every update I get signed out that’s rather annoying and the new layout is an utter disaster it so terrible you wrecked the layout please revert the layout to the former one and how about you finally add support for Face ID and fingerprint I’d if banks can do it for the convenience then certainly you can to conclusion is this app is updated but it’s still way outdated given the time we are in and the ever evolving online world it’s time this app adapts to this change like banks have and Medicare has too I only hope you read this understand it and take on the necessary changes to better this app for all Australians and the experience and expectations that all user should experience

Fix reporting issue. Is a good app other than the fact that almost every time I go to report it continues to say that I still haven’t done it. Sometimes it actually goes through (despite still saying I haven’t reported) and I get my payment, other times it doesn’t and I receive no money and have to go stand in godforsaken dandenong centrelink for over an hour to fix it and then wait the weekend to receive my payment. This has been happening for the past 2 months or so. The app never used to do this. Please fix this soon.

Fantastic for Centrelink reporting. This app is extremely easy to use, very simple and very straightforward. I’m so grateful that I can report my job my earnings, I can report everything basically to Centrelink without having to go into Centrelink or call them. I have had delays with uploading documents but I’m assuming that’s the at their end. As always with Australian bureaucracy, they under employ and make the rest of suffer! But… this app overall is excellent for dealing with Services Australia/Centrelink

USELESS!!. After waiting 2 months for a parenting payment to be processed it was finally done only to be canceled the next day due to my apparent failure to report, how does one know they even had to report when the app won't even open to allow access to read letters or tasks!! I have now been waiting another month and still counting for my payments to be "re-processed" this is just ridiculous!! By the time I receive any payments my maternity leave will be over and I'll be back at work!! In the meantime all my direct debits from finance are accumulating and by the time I have money to pay them off it will be just interest so basically put me into debt and bad credit rating!!!! NOT HAPPY

Awesome. The whole social support system is broken, from making basic input mistakes to treating people like criminals for using it. This app allows me to bypass the queues and intolerant counter staff that used to be a feature of these interactions in the past: now I can be abused and belittled by my government in the comfort of my own home. The other brilliant feature is that when the auditors finally catch up with me for some trivial non-compliance, they won’t be able to distinguish between my inability to navigate this p.o.s. system and the mistakes made by the robots, so upon my release from jail I will be able to sue them for squillions. I look forward to reporting my income on that glorious day, I can tell you.

Unreliable. The app is unreliable. When attempting to input new information when reporting, it always, literally every single time, says that the "update failed". The app frequently goes under maintenance which interferes with being able to access the concession card which defeats the purpose of having a digital copy if it is not accessible in any circumstance. This app requires huge upgrades, otherwise, like most of centrelink services, it's ultimately useless. UPDATE HALF A YEAR LATER: It’s still terrible. They need a massive overhaul on the app and it needs a lot more attention as it can be a very helpful tool in people’s lives if it was only fixed and the app itself improved.

Convenient but deceptive. I managed to get my whole claim processed through this app. Awesome! Everyone who’s been through the centrelink machine knows how tedious and frustrating it is, this app definitely helped with the hour long waits and inconsistent help that you get in office. My biggest gripe however is the lack of information and notification I receive. Every week I’m supposed to make a financial report, which is understandable, however the app doesn’t notify me when I’m supposed to make it. It would be understandable if it was the same day every week but instead my payments areconstantly pushed forward and my report date is also. This makes it near impossible to keep track of my payments which in turn leaves me broke for fuel for interviews, food, phone and rent payments. I have all notifications on for this app PLEASE add a report and task notifier so I don’t miss payments and so I can not be constantly stressed over late fees.

Biggest joke of my life.. What a ridiculous update... from being able to report my income on the app, no worries. To being directed to a website to enter in my income, with a whole bunch of extra questions is complete nonsense. After entering all required questions correctly it still says I have an error & now I have to call Centrelink, and hold for 25 minutes plus? Seems as each year it just gets harder to do the most simplest of things, all for a pesky extra couple of dollars that don’t even help out... if you’re having issues with people being fraudulent, then make it harder to be accepted for Centrelink benefits & stop giving away money to people who can’t do the right thing. Simple.

What could be worse?. So I just downloaded the Centrelink app to upload documents Centrelink required and if I don’t upload them they will cancel my age pension! I thought this app might be better than waiting an average time of one hour ten minutes on the phone line, when I can even get through and not get the line engaged beeps I have had for the last ten days when I tried to ring them. App downloaded, all set up, came back later to uploaded documents and even though the app says hallo to my name IT WONT LET ME LOG IN!!!!!! What the hell is wrong with Centrelink? Useless does not even begin to describe them. After two days I STILL CANT LOG IN!! Don’t bother with this app it is as bad as everything else to do with Centrelink. In disgust I took my docs down to my local Centrelink office and asked them to process the docs, only to be told that they could not do it and I had to upload them myself online! I tried to explain that I couldn’t do this as I can’t log in to the app and they fobbed me off with ‘Just keep trying!’ Looks like I’m going to not get my pension anymore. Negative ten is what I rate this app and Centrelink!!!!

Could not develop a worse app myself. Entirely unfriendly for users and difficult to manage considering half the time, the app suffers extreme bugs, glitches and generally runs like internet explorer on a computer with no wifi. This app will close at random intervals for no apparent reason, won’t log in properly and it seems that half the buttons are for decoration considering when clicked, nothing will occur. Otherwise, the app is under maintenance every few days where you would assume these consistent and plentiful bugs are being fixed... but you would be wrong. How there can be report dates set weekly and then the app goes under maintenance every few days so nobody is able to access it is beyond me, the app might as well be a phone book for the Centrelink numbers so the public can directly call when the app is down to do their business. You would think for a government program which deals with people’s livelihoods and financials (particularly during the COVID-19 crisis), actual developers would be hired to design and run a functional app with little to no issues for the general public. I would rather pay a fee, or pay for an app that is somewhat usable than deal with this embarrassing excuse of an app thrown together obviously by low-skill developers that have never had the excruciating pain of navigating ’Centrelink Express Plus’.

Keeps crashing. It’s more frustrating when Iam on the ph trying to get a operator when all you deal with a AI 4 times operator then goodbye same thing with this app keeps on crashing and I had to reload a new one time and again I have to report now when they said to me at the office the system is now shut for some reason . There is not enough staff and we need more better efficient offices to cope with the covid situation. This app has to get re designed and build to a better version Mr Morrison needs to get it all together Thanks Mr MacDonald

People should be more grateful & rely more on themselves. It save me a lot of time waiting on the phone. I never used the upload documents function as I usually do that on my gov website. There’s no one app that can do everything. I don’t rely on the app for push notifications either as I set it up on my calendar instead. If people learn to rely on themselves more, there would be less complaining. And I am talking about everything. I am from overseas and when I know that I can receive this kind of payment, I was so grateful for Centrelink. Because there’s no such a department that endlessly distributed money to people who are less fortunate in all kind of situation like old age, single parents and students in many many countries around the world. Mainly Australia. However, it’s also a disadvantage because it makes people rely heavily on government for their own wellbeing. If tomorrow there’s no Centrelink.... would you be more grateful? Centrelink staffs are working hard and having to put up with this.

Your kidding right?!!!!!!. This app??? hasn’t even allowed me to login for nearly a year so when I tried again months later I almost fell over when I not only logged in, but found the app to be nearly fully accessible. I was so shocked that I literally told my blind friends. I convinced people that the app was actually working well. Today I got a text message saying I had to update the app so I could login. Guess what, brand new phone and updated app and now I can’t login again. Any time anything works for Centrelink just give them time. They will break it again Well done being the most useless investment of tax dollars app developers. You are too apps what robo debt collection is to ethical accountancy. So utterly pathetic I laugh so I don’t cry

An unresolved issue. Convenient yes, inconvenient? Also yes an issue I’ve actually noted to the staff at Centrelink more than 12 times I’ve had to come in yet it still hasn’t been fixed since the issue started 5 months ago. I’m able to report for my defacto partner but I can’t report for myself so I have to go in and use up transport money but now a new issue has come up and now it won’t actually let me report for myself at all could this possibly be fixed? Eventually? Probably not but oh well it’s not like I need to eat, pay rent etc, no no I don’t need those at all to help keep me sustained for future employment or to afford good clothing for interviews.

New update is terrible. The new update doesn’t even work. I don’t know why but it crashes shortly after opening. Not a single button works when accessing. So I want to upload a document and have even tried on the updated website to no avail. It uploads on the website but when I click save it just comes up with a box at the top with a red hazard triangle in. But no information on why it won’t save. How is this remotely helpful? In trying to make this more user friendly you’ve actually made it worse. Also I don’t appreciate the fact that the emails and payslips we receive from you are removed after just 2 years. If Tax and other things like medical information and payslips has to be held for 7years roughly. Then the emails and payslips that we receive through Centrelink should also be held for that amount of time. As I’m now being told I owe almost $7k and 3-4years ago I paid over $3k in overpayments and these pays overlap. But I no longer have access to the Centrelink payslips or email to prove my case because they are removed after 2 years. I’ve heard a lot about Centrelink and the government over paying due to their own incompetency and if that’s the case/ that’s what you are trying to fix. Then you have no right in asking for the money back as it was your mistake that was made.

Reporting Period History Disappeared. The previous results for my Reporting Period does not reflect what I previously reported. Previous reports have disappeared from the app. I previously reported the number of hours I worked and earned (which was over 0), yet it is displayed as 0, which in my opinion is false and misleading. I feel like this will be used to Robodebt me in the future as Centrelink is showing me false information in regards to listing my previous reporting history. Furthermore, there is a lack of previous reporting periods listed and the current listed reporting periods do not accurately reflect what I have been reporting since I started receiving payments from Centrelink, which in my opinion is misleading. The new method of reporting is too difficult, confusing and not easy at all.

Allow files to be uploaded to vault. Overall the app allows me to use it the way I need to, except for one thing. When needing to upload documents, I cannot upload directly to the vault. I can capture a printed document, but all my documents are now digital. Therefore I would appreciate a way to upload my documents to my vault directly from my phone, without having to air print them off my phone, then take a picture of the printed document, then upload it to vault. That seems counterintuitive.

People giving false reviews, having a winge. Not sure why everyone except a few of us are complaining. I’ve had the app easily 3 years or so now and it hasn’t been a problem except once I couldn’t report about 6 months ago because it had been done p automatically and it cost me around $400 due to a false report. Other than that I haven’t had any cons, if it’s up to date with my App Store than the app itself is fine.

Useless, waste of time. There has been an investigation on my account while I was overseas and I tried contacting Centrelink about it through the app. Apparently I owe Centrelink $2000 but I disputed it via an online form as I was unable to call. I sent multiple forms yet no one replied, and now they are deducting the $2000 from my fortnightly pay. I am really disappointed with the lack of efficiency with the whole Centrelink system. I had applied for rent assistance yet no one contacted me regarding the approval, so I have not been paid. In fact, Centrelink owes me more than $2000 but there is absolutely no way to contact them. I wait 2 hours in line at my local Centrelink and they say they will look into it - 6 months later still no response. Please fix this poor system. Hire less degenerates please. I’ve completely given up on this.

Personally would rather be in a mental home. Been a victim to theft by people my whole life, beaten as a child then forced to stay out of school, requested police to act on illegal activity nothing ever happened it just made my confidence worse. Abused substances since I was 12 couldn’t tell anyone that myself and the people around me needed help because the laws dictate it was wrong and conflicted my judgement as of a result of physically endured and artificial chemically induced happiness and I had no one to turn too. Treated like a dog my whole life up until now. At the age of 27 I’m homeless don’t trust anyone and can’t act on my own initiative because it was formally taken from me by the government standard through your tax payers. Get a grip.
