Very useful and restores faded and illegible documents. Very happy with CamScanner. I have been using since 2015. My 94 year old Aunt had just passed away at 2am. She purchased her mortuary and cemetery policy in 1960, it was fully paid for. The contract was on NCR paper, faded and illegible. I called the mortuary to have them come pick her up and was told they did not have any record of her contract because age of documents and mergers and many moves. They would not be coming over to the house. This was a well know and very large mortuary. I used my Cam Scanner app to scan the contract and other documents, which were made very clear, then emailed to them. Because of Cam Scanner, a very sad, stressful time of my life was made easier to get through. I highly recommend for personal and business.

Disappointed by App Store and the app team. I am extremely disappointed with both the App Store and the development team behind CAMScqnner. I accidentally forgot to cancel the auto-renewal for the app and was charged for a one-year subscription. As soon as I noticed the charge on the same day, I immediately requested a refund. However, to my dismay, I was informed that I am not eligible for a refund. This is incredibly frustrating and unfair. Mistakes happen, and it is unreasonable to refuse a refund when the request is made promptly. The lack of flexibility and understanding from both the App Store and the app's developers reflects poorly on their customer service. I urge others to be cautious with subscriptions on this platform, as they seem more interested in keeping your money than ensuring customer satisfaction. I hope this review will make others aware of this issue and encourage the App Store and developers to reconsider their refund policies.

Great app and functional however. This is a great app and functional however customer service and upgrade is not easy I clicked on one of the specials and was unable to complete it I sent for Customer Service self never got it I tried for the full price and still could not get it to link to my account in the process of doing this I almost lost my documents so I don’t know I want to try it but I’d still be interested if there would be somebody to help me outAlso the free portion gets locked up with the pop ups asking you to upgrade and scares off people that have been referred I have referred several and they tell me they cannot see the free portion so they can experiment with it

Best On-The-Go Application. I have witnessed many amazing programs during my teenage years and years dedicated to M.I.T. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). This application offers a very simple, yet very diverse GUI (Graphical User Interface) that makes it the perfect mobile PDF application for the normal person. Whilst I typically choose to use a very, very expensive PDF-based program, I am essentially required to do such as a result of my career. I highly recommend this application to all whom do not require an expensive program with a broad range of options. Because there’s so very few whom require PDF resources on a typical basis, CamScanner is your best and most efficient option.

Amazing App. I really love this app. It works wonderfully. I use it all the time. It works just as well as any traditional scanner. It is much more convenient to use this app vs. using my printer/ scanner/ copier. I love that it doesn't cost me any money to use, it makes very high quality images, and I can make the scan into a PDF. I also use this if I need to fax anything. I will first take a picture with CamScanner, and the I can import it into another app I use to send faxes. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs to send documents anywhere, via email, text, or fax. I also recommend it anyone who use their phone or tablet in place of a laptop for work. It is such a handy app to have.

App is awesome but the way its operated is worse.. OCR uses processing from my phone, it can store images on my phone, it uses my camera for HD resolution, the folders are created on my device. Literally every single thing is done by my phone and yet why do I have to subscribe for premium as if I am not using your cloud/server for all these tasks? I hate the plan of subscribing every month, I’d rather pay if it was one time payment. I use this app rarely, once or twice a month and I wouldn’t want to pay every time for that. I don’t want all your stupid features such cloud storing, e-signature, pro pdf editor, greeting cards and all. I’m happy with just a scan, OCR, removed ads/watermarks and sometimes image to excel. I did check cam scanner+ app but its even worse, asking me to get premium every time I open the app, nor the app gets updated as frequently as this app for bug fixes. I desperately want this app but without subscribing. I’d rather pay 0.99$ per feature but no subscription please.

Wondering if this great and useful app has a permanent subscription. This is without a shadow of a doubt a great, useful and necessary application that truck drivers, accounting and office people should have. I was under the impression that CamScanner had a permanent subscription, one that you can purchase once, but maybe I’m mistaken. If you could bring back that feature, I would most definitely buy it. Thanks for the awesome job put into this app. Keep surprising us in the near future with more useful features. Like I said, I just want to buy the premium version of this app one time, instead of paying for a gold tier every month.

Document scanning on the go. CamScanner has been my go to app for scanning on the go for at least 3 years now. I am able to use it from my iPhone or iPad. I am able to scan single or batch jobs. More importantly, I am able to continue adding documents later to the same file without a lot of extra hoops. The auto focus and document sizer gets it right sometime but it really doesn’t take much time to fix a document in the event it scans it the wrong way. I do not have to fix it immediately either. If the document size scanned wrong CamScanner still picked up the entire document. I can go in and fix it at my leisure.

Very useful. Since my daughter’s teacher recommended this app, I have been using it ever since to take photos of my kids’ homework. There is a single and batch option, great for uploading one or multiple pages of a documents. If you need to add more to a batch already done, no need to worry, just tap the “add” button and insert pages as you wish! You can also re-arrange the pages after scanning, or delete some unwanted ones. It’s very handy and user-friendly. Oh, of course, the quality of the scanned pages is awesome! There’s different filter options for you to choose from according to your needs and preference. Image is sharp and ver clear. What more can I say? I am a big fan of this app!

Great app but needs some improvements. This is a great app and all, but I only got two complaints that I hope can be fixed. 1) For starters, the only formats available to download are both JPG and PDF (basically the JPG converted as a PDF). Since JPG is lossy, there should be a way to export in PNG as opposed to JPG. 2) When you turn on 'Torch' while taking a picture of the paper you want to scan, the flashlight on your phone stays on till you are done fixing up the scan and get back to the main screen. The torch should ONLY be on when taking a picture through the camera, and not after. Other than these two complaints, I do not see a problem with this app, in fact, I like it for scanning my drawings from paper to digital. :)

First time user - very satisfied. I never write reviews on apps but I thought this one deserved one. I was in a rush to scan some important documents and I downloaded a few different scanner apps. This was my favorite one. Easy to use, simple layout and I really appreciated the editer. I was able to save the scans to my pdfs with no problem. I love how they numbered the scans so I didn't save multiple copies. They have a watermark on the "free version" but upon purchase you can remove it. There was also no limit on how many scans you can do which I really really loved. Would highly recommend and I look forward to using this scanner in the future as well! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do not need to purchase a scanner anymore. This app rocks. It is a tad bit pushy on trying to get you to pay to unlock additional features, but overall the amount of capability it provides out if the box, free, is excellent. Before, I was taking pictures via phone camera app of all my documents and then painstakingly uploading to my computer, reducing image sizes, and grouping pictures into pdfs — and still the end result pdf file sizes were frustratingly large and the quality subpar. With this app, I can easily batch scan each document into its own collection, it automatically identifies the document portion within the image and crops to it, applies a filter that tremendously enhances readability, and then offers several export options at which point I choose to airdrop as pdf to my Mac pc. And the resulting pdf is a reasonable size. I’d highly recommend giving this app a try for your scanning needs, it’s free. The one downside is without paying you get a watermark at the bottom right of the doc, but personally that doesn’t bother me too much.

What happened??!!. This was my favorite scanner app. As far as why was concerned there was no other scanner apps. With all the features this one had, the quality of the pic enhancement, and the control it offered was great. On top of that you could save the pics to your album, send the enhanced pic multiple ways. I guess good things don’t last especially in the app world. There is no directing texting feature but, once upon a time, you could save the enhanced pic to your album, then text it. No big deal. Simple, easy, fast. Well, in CamScanner’s infinite wisdom they have removed the capability. So, I figured it was a premium feature and purchased it. Still nothing. I wasn’t really angry about this whole thing until I emailed them several times and still have received no feedback. I wouldn’t have even bothered writing this review but I don’t want other people wasting their hard earned money like I did. Thanks for nothing, CamScanner!!!

Help me to use your perfect app. Honestly speaking, your app is the best out there and it is a big help for e student for me who doesn’t have a proper laptop the only problem for me is that i live in I ran I experience blocking slow internet connection and also embargo which does not allow me to pay for premium mode now I really need to use the apps helm to turn my pdf doc to word format in order to edit them What do you recommend I could do?! I really neeed your app performance and i am willing to even pag for it but i don't have the opportunity because of the region I live in. Can’t you just male an offer and lend me premium account?! What if I say pleaaaase🙄🙄🙏🏻🙏🏻

Subscription issues have me on edge. The switch to apple store based subscriptions wasn’t smooth. I was told that the part of the subscription that was paid already would be refunded or some sort of credit would be given based on how much time was left on the subscription, but here we are several months later and still no credit or update on what happened to that. The MacOS application is no better and functionality is very limited. There was even a point where I had two different versions of the iOS app on my phone that had two different subscription types for the same account, and didn’t understand why that was or which one was I should use.

I hate this app impossibly much. This app is stupid. I’m writing a book, and am writing some parts of it by hand. I got this app to copy the part I did by hand and put it onto Google Docs. This stupid thing decided that it couldn’t understand what I wrote, even though it has “state of the art software.” And trying to scam me into buying the premium, which is probably not even gonna help? Good riddance. Next, when I went to print something completely unrelated off my phone, it said “print from CamScan,”instead of giving me the normal print option. That would be alright if CamScan had a relatively decent printing option. But it couldn’t even find my printer, and my printer is one of the more recent models. And it wouldn’t let me print the normal was. Oh, and also, I can’t delete it. Not sure if that’s my phone’s problem, but it’s really annoying, especially when confronted with having this piece of trash on my storage forever. In conclusion, this app is a disgrace, don’t ever get it, it will ruin your life.

Awesome App!. We have a cumbersome Expense Manager system at work and CamScanner has removed a lot of the receipt management pain associated with attaching receipts to our expense reports. No more taping receipts to a piece of paper and then scanning them. CamScanner is convenient and so easy to use! I especially like the Batch feature which allows you to take pictures of all your receipts and save them as one file which you can email to yourself as a PDF. As a manager that has to approve expense reports, only having to open one file that includes all of the receipt images instead of several files makes the approval process more efficient. I highly recommend this app to any field sales force.

What happened? Disappointing.. I have had this app since it first came onto the app store with google and ios. Although I dont use it as much as I use to I am disappointed in the overload of features and becoming non user-friendly. Everything is not like it use to be. It just gets more confusing as time goes on. I also lost fax money because the faxes took all day to confirm they were received I had to reload thinking it never went through. I have referred lots of co-workers and people to this app over the years and it is very disappointing to hear this app gets more and more confusing not only to me but the people I referred. I realize you now have 100s of thousands of downloads, but adding features to appeal to everyone is unappealing to those who need it for user friendly personal and business interactions. What is happening and how do I get my fax money back?

GREAT for school!. I absolutely LOVE using this app for school. I get a lot of handouts for projects that I have a tough time keeping track of and CamScanner helps me 1: organize my papers, 2: keep from losing them, and 3: access them super easily. I love that I am able to see my assignments on the go, as I cannot always bring my giant folder around with me. Even with the folder, it can be such a pain to try and find each individual assignment. CamScanner has helped so much with both of those problems. Now I am able to see my organized files anywhere if I have my phone on me. Even if I lose an assignment, I will have a scanned copy that I can look at, so I will never lose my important documents. 100% would recommend to other students. If you have problems with organizing files or wish you didn’t have to carry around so many papers, this is definitely the app for you. So easy to use, great user interface. Love it!

Love this App! Zynthia. I carry a fax machine, and a document scanner that allowed me to buy a home with only 3 face to meetings, one of which was my closing! My job will only accept faxes with clients info not emails, this app has saved me from traveling to a venue to fax reports and time sheets when the digital by phone system wasn't working; after working all night! This has been amazing! Love it! Also don't have to keep track of papers. Everything sent is time stamped, I can drop it in a file on my phone and there it stays. I've backed up and stored to free up memory and no bulky paper to keep track of. I send or fax a copy, then sometimes email to myself to readily access. Highly recommend this app!

Don’t waste your money to buy premium. I have been using the app for several years and paid for premium for two years. But recently I just found at premium level, they started to add water marks to pdf, and now it requires you to pay more to get gold level to remove pdf watermark. I paid 50 dollar a year simply to get a no watermark feature, but the app sneakily changed the feature offered to premium account! If you can live with the watermark on pdf or fine with saving it as a jpg, it is still a pretty useful and user friendly app. But I’m really disappointed at this kind of behaviour of treating customers. I read there are other people who also encountered issue with premium accounts and wrote a review, and I don’t see a satisfactory response from the company there, so please consider that before you pay for subscription.

Useful. When I was a student I used to have a Huawei and I got this app I found it very helpful for everything, very organized I could have my documents sorted as I wanted, and the pdf versions were easy to find and share by WhatsApp, e-mail, messenger, and other apps, you can get done a pdf in seconds I used to submit homework in a couple of minutes. I have read many negative comments about this app, but in my personal opinion, it’s great and useful, easy to use and quick and that’s what we need in real life even when you want to change the file size It's very easy. I have an iPhone now and I am downloading it again because I rather the way this app organizes the information after your scan. I highly recommend this app.

The Best Free Mobile App to Scan + More in the App Store. I have used for 3 or 4 years and i love ❤️ how userfriendly the App is to take a picture, of any document that you want to have saved for ease of accessing during an yemergencies or if you’re pressed for time. I recommend our friends and family download the free app. You can take a picture and crop it and name it and save it. I use the free version currently although before the pandemic, I was able to afford the premium version which screws the watermark plus a few other features that you can read about in the App Store, I do not leave many reviews although this is one of my go to apps to save any receipts from hotels and business expenses, I like to open the app it loads quickly on the iPhone and take a snapshot photograph of one or multiple pages. I recommend all friends and family use this app.

I rarely leave a review... but this is worth talking about.. I think this is my first ever legitimate review on the App Store and I have to say. Whoever or whatever brought you to this app it is worth it. Let me list why- -As an educator and college student this app is invaluable. Homework that needs to be scanned or an assignment that needs to be uploaded this scanner makes the process simple and it looks better than the scanners at some schools. -The app can change the lighting on objects to make dim lighting room photographs of documents to make them actually legible. -The app has ways of converting images to text so it can be more readable to you or anyone else. -It saves all previous scans so if you lost track of the important document you can always go back to the app to find it. -You are able to send PDFs of the document you photographed thru the app so that you do not have to go through the hassle of going to your email and then attaching the document yourself. It’s a small detail, saving a few minutes that they did not have to add but it is such a huge quality of life thing. It does have ads but frankly for this kind of service I’m okay with them making a few cents in ad revenue for the service they provide. So whatever reason you are reading this review I can assure you the app is worth it if you are looking for a document scanning app.

great app, has one flaw. Amazing app! I use for my design school to submit my drawings and makes them look professional and computerized with the enhanced feature lighting! I love the organization of the app and user friendliness! That all being said, for some reason there is a glitch that won't let me upload photos i've had to edit on my own, saying that i haven't given access to my camera roll but on my settings everything is correct and they have access to my camera roll, so im having to transfer all the files to another app to be able to make one complete pdf. Once this glitch is fixed, the app is awesome!

Fix your app.... I’ve used the app successfully for over a year. Suddenly it’s decided my year paid subscription no longer exists. It wasn’t due to expire subscription until January 2021, I purchased another year worth of subscription last week hoping to resolve the issue and it did not help. So now I’ve paid $100 for an app that I cannot use services I’ve paid for. The website offers a very poor customer service ticket filer that doesn’t tell you anything or if they have even received or looked into your issue. No phone number. No support e-mail. No services I’ve paid for. I need this issue resolved ASAP. Hopefully leaving a review will get someone’s attention since the website offer no other way of contacting. I will keep posting reviews until I get a response.

Top notch scanner. I love this app. It’s totally professional and works the way a commercial product should. The scans are clear, the interface is intelligent and easy to use, and I can name documents and save them easily. CamScanner makes it easy to organize my files. It works quickly and without quirks. No need to learn “tricks“ to make it do what I want. I can scan a document, name it, save it to Google Drive, and email it easily. I use it in the field in my vehicle, at customer locations, wherever I am. If all my apps worked like CamScanner I would never have anything to complain about on my smart phone! If you need to scan, organize and send documents, this product is an excellent choice!

Absolutely worth the price. One might think that, since I only scan about 20 pages per year, the price of this app wouldn’t be worth it. Although the cost is at the upper limit of what I’m willing to pay, I still think it is worth the cost of admission because I know I can make great scans with my phone camera. This app is feature-rich. A few of my favorite functions include the ability to stretch and straighten the wonky images that can result from photographing wrinkled pages or pages that are photographed on unlevel surfaces. The ability to remove shadows is probably the best feature in my opinion. I recommend CamScanner for anyone who wants to make great quality scans in even subpar conditions.

fun! efficient! high-quality!. I’ve never written a review for any app, but figured it would be fun, because CamScanner is 100% one of my favorites. Really. Whoever designed this needs some recognition. I just got it for school, because my scanner wasn’t connecting to my computer (oh, the struggles of online school), and I needed to scan my homework. This is was SO easy to use, and it allows you to make your scan into a PDF and upload it straight to Google Drive! Agh! The efficiency is just...*chef’s kiss.* Definitely recommend. And it’s fun. I will be scanning up a storm, so if this app starts glitching too much, it’s probably because I’m sitting at home scanning all day. Kidding, of course.

Cam Scanner best way to share printer quality documents. So often we have to sing and return documents - or send original copies for resumes, diplomas and other verification of employment documentation and... how do we do that ? Cam scanner allows transmission of any image as high quality doc in high quality images from your smart phone you can transmit in pdf format which is most preferred in formal business transaction You have the option of jpg is you prefer it The images are clear crisp no shadow or weird angles like taking a photo with you phone PLUS you have the ability to adjust the image and edit the clarity giving you clear crisp documents to send via your phone As someone who uses this regularly I highly recommend it and tell others to send me documents via CamScanner all the time Go for It Try it! You are going to Love it!

Great for school super easy to use. I am a high school student and our teacher wanted us to upload PDF files. She didn’t care how we did it but that’s how she wanted them, well you can do it in the notes app on an iPhone but that was super difficult to use also was a pain to be about to submit the pdf after since everything was on the phone. I tired a few other PDF apps on my phone but none seemed to work well at all or they needed you to pay to actually use it. Well eventually I tried this one which was the best by far. I didn’t even decide to keep going because this app is the best at making PDF files from photos or just the camera. That selling point for me was after I scanned my documents I was able to upload them directly to my assignment on canvas without leaving the app. I plan on buying the full version when I am able to so I don’t have to pay a subscription fee

Simply Stellar! Perfect for folks on the go!. It’s a Stellar app that is really simple to use - hence my title. And It’s true. Im a salesperson in a constant sprint. The formula for success in sales is pretty straightforward: More time in front of prospects equals more lettuce in the old wallet. I only get paid to do three things really: Prospect, see people and close. If I’m “busy” resubmitting an app because its illegible, or digging through files to find an application, etc., then that’s less time engaged in key activities! And that’s less money in my pocket!... Cam scanner literally makes scanning, saving, editing, and organizing and after thought! What would have taken me 15-30 minutes before, is done now in less than 5! And it’s FREE! I couldn’t operate without it...and wouldn’t want to. M Thanks a million Cam Scanner!!

👍🏻👍🏻. This really is a great app, I originally downloaded it to use for school, but I ended up using it outside of class as well. It keeps me organized and reeaaaally comes in handy if you’re the person that’s always needing to email hard copy documents to others (especially on the go). I also use it to keep important documents organized and with me at all times (on my phone, as pdf files). I’m not very good tech-wise, and complicated apps end up getting deleted after one confusing use. This app is laid out nicely and is simple enough to figure out and actually use without feeling overwhelmed at all. Wasn’t expecting much from a free app, but has thoroughly exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond anything else I have tried.

Amazing!. I have been a teacher for 18 years and this app is a MUST in my classroom. I can easily scan in an example or graph or problem and email it to myself as a pdf and insert it instantly in my slides, computer based assignment or assessment. I don't even have to leave my desk and it's done in a minute, literally! It is so helpful and FREE! So many platforms charge exuberant fees to use their products or the "free version" really does nothing- not Cam Scanner! I have personally used it for numerous years and have recommended it to many others in addition to my students every year. I love this app!. I have used this app for a few years now and figured it’s about time I write a review. I absolutely love this app! I am in sales and am constantly on the go so to be able to snap a picture and convert it to a PDF makes me so much more productive! The fact that this app allows you to crop and retouches the image so that it actually appears as if it was scanned is a huge plus. It is so professional and does not look at all like a picture taken with a cell phone. This is definitely one of my favorite apps and a must have. I not only use it for work but for personal business as well. Helped my divorce go super smooth when I could get docs to my lawyer within minutes 😜 Super efficient!

The Ultimate in CYA Protection. I use my CamScanner app a LOT. I can’t tell you how many times it has come to my rescue. I routinely scan receipts for large ticket items (purchase receipt required for in-warranty repairs to laptop), or items which need to be registered (think screen protector with lifetime warranty). The document is always available on the app, but then I use CamScanner to also email a copy of the scanned item to myself. I’ve actually had MVA accept an item from my CamScanner app for one of those crucial documents you must produce to get your driver’s license! VERY easy to use. Never any glitches, hiccups or down time. Definitely recommend very highly!!

Works well but won’t activate my premium subscription!. This app worked well when I tested a few pages, and I so decided to sign up for a one month premium subscription for $4.99. Unfortunately, it never activated my account and I’m stuck with no credits. I tried Restore Activated Items countless times but it fails to connect to the iTunes Store. This would be a great app if this wasn’t so activation wasn’t so frustrating and buggy. Update: Developers contacted me within a few days and provided a solution, which didn’t work. However, after deleting and reinstalling the app, I was able to get my subscription to kick in. Now it works like it was supposed to. I use this for Arabic OCR mainly and it works more accurately than the other apps I’ve tried so far. I’ll keep the premium subscription for now and keep my expectations low, as I expect that this app may remain buggy in the future.

Best portable scanner and doc manager. I love cam scanner for quick or more serious multi document scanning and storage. The fact that you can choose your document type ie, PDF or jpeg ect. for emailing on the spot, documents has been a godsend to me. I keep important documents that people need occasionally or regularly on hand. The days of faxing are over once you have this. Need a signed document for someone? Print your page you need to send signed, sign it, scan with cam scanner and right there in the program email it to anyone in your contact list easily. Works every time and then cam scanner backs up your documents to your choice of backup services or machines. No hassle, no fuss just works. Very dependable. Awesome is all I can say.

Do not get this app. It’s a scam. I purchased this app. They took 53 dollars for the year subscription and I didn’t receive it. I tried contacting the company several times no response. The app has a water mark on it and the only way to get rid of the water Mark was allegedly purchase the subscription. First of all they get you with its 2.99 a month, so you click on it only to discover they remove 53 dollars all at once. Ok fine, not what I thought I was signing up for but at least I’ll have the subscription paid for the year and use it. Nope. The subscription never activated and each time I use it it says I haven’t paid for the subscription. I click on the activate subscription and it takes you back to the menu to purchase it. I’ve contacted apple iTunes who has said oh it’s an issue the developer has to correct but if they don’t contact us. The developer refuses to return my emails or fix the problem. Now apple iTunes is pushing the issue off not wanting to remedy the situation. Apple iTunes I thought this company was represented through your app. Will never trust apple iTunes again and I would definitely make sure you don’t purchase this app.

One of the worst apps. This app seemed to work ok at first, but after a while not matte what I do or what settings I change the camera is rotated and if I rotate my iPad it doesn’t correct. It’s so out of whack and nothing else on my device is funky like this, only this app. I wonder if it’s not made well for an iPad, but it worked okay at first. It’s kind of a pain to send the documents to yourself because even though I change the scanned items to PDFs it still says they are too large for my gmail, so I had to upload them to a separate platform and then email them to myself which is an extra step I shouldn’t have to do. Also the scan screen when using the iPad is mostly black and the scanned item is only about the size of a phone, which seems to confirm my suspicion that it’s made for phones and not iPad. I want to use my because it’s better overall. Overall, it’s just more of a pain than it’s worth, I hope to find a better app.

Send help. “How likely are you to recommend CamScanner to a colleague?” Not. My “colleagues” and I don’t talk about freaking CamScanner. What do you think I am, a printer? Now, that being said, I use CamScanner quite often, but I use it only out of necessity. It is a requirement for turning in school assignments. However, using this app is always an extreme inconvenience. When I first downloaded it, I was automatically on a free premium trial. I was not notified when the period would end, and ultimately the unreasonably astronomical price of this mediocre app was charged to me. I received a refund, but not without great inconvenience. Speaking of great inconvenience, I have clicked on several ads trying to type this out on the app after it asked me for a review. They are everywhere. Turning in a last second paper? Too late, you have to watch four ads before you’re allowed to take a picture. I would continue with my lament, but I was in the middle of trying to turn in an assignment when it asked me for this, and I figured since it’s not a time-sensitive assignment, I would give the penny-pinching developers of this hellish app a piece of my mind first. If you can help it, please do not download this. If you cannot, click it only when you need to, and click it once, because the second click will be an ad or a premium feature.

App positive and negative. This is a great app. I got the app and when you format screenshots as a collage, it looks clean and professional. You can also add text to the page. The issue that I have noticed is that the screenshots don’t go in the order you picked them to go in. The only way to correct this is by moving the screenshots in the correct order creating more work which extends the amount of time getting it how you want it. Another issue is that the 3-day trial is not enough time when you have to shift each screenshot in chronological order. Needless to say, I ended up getting charged $60 because of this issue. If they could work out that bug to allow the screenshots in the order you originally chose them to be in, would make this app get 5 gold stars.

Great app!! Just one annoying part.... This app is really good and very very useful. One of the best free scanners. I use it all the time for school to scan assignments. Super easy to use too!! It even has different settings (single picture, batch, etc) and filters to touch up your document. Awesome all around!! There’s just one annoying thing. It’s not that big a deal but kinda tedious. Because I use CamScanner on my phone, I often need to send stuff to my computer and the easiest way to do this is through email. I only have the Gmail app on my phone because I think it’s easy to use, but CamScanner only allows email sharing through the default Mail app. This meant I had to download the Mail app again just to use CamScanner. Again, not that bad, just kinda tedious. It would be great if CamScanner could be connected to the Gmail app as well.

Subscription issues. I have been using this app for nearly a year. Last month, there was a pop up for me to purchase to remove the watermark. I thought possibly subscription had expired... No biggie.I go to repurchase. Well... My subscription doesn’t expire until 2/14. I only use the app once a month... Yesterday I went to use the app again... Still the same pop up to purchase and still the same results... I have already purchased it. My subscription does not expire until 2/14. I double checked to make sure the app is up to date with the latest version... It is according to App Store... However, it’s still the Christmas design from the last update with minor “bug fixes” in the description of the latest version. I am trying to find a resolution to this issue. Contacting customer service seems to be difficult and a run around also. This is annoying and it also seem fraudulent. I would not recommend getting this app.

Email does not work. I had to email some time sensitive information to my accountant only to find out several days later they never received it even though the app told me that the email have been sent. I tried to resend it several times to myself to test the app and I never got a confirmation- nothing worked. I tried contacting customer support to see if they could look into it a little further as to whether or not, my app was not working properly. Something need to be updated or if it’s a feature no longer available to me but they don’t make it easy for you to contact them and when I looked them up online, the contact page doesn’t go anywhere it says contact us but any link you click on does not work. Very disappointed.

Excellent tool, supportive devs.. I’ve been using this App for over 6 years. I’ve handed in hundreds of homework submissions over the years using this app. With each update, the UI became more minimalistic, and some buttons disappeared or were remapped. If you’re a long-time user like me, there may be a lot of frustrating confusion as to where some functions went after every update. This actually made me post a negative review as I couldn’t find so many functions I relied on for years many updates ago. Fortunately the dev team contacted me and explained where everything is. It seems a lot of editing functions became hidden behind the misleading “Sign” button. Try it! It does way more than just signing. Changing my review back to 5 star. Quality hasn’t changed so far, just layout and design.

Stole my money after I cancelled my subscription. I downloaded this apps free trail to try it in comparison to other scanner apps and I did not like the app at all. There are other apps out there that are easier to use at a much lower price- so I cancelled my subscription 1 day into my 3 day free trail. On the supposed third day of the free trial- after I already cancelled the subscription and deleted the app- I was charged $60 for 3 months. I did not want the subscription in the first place and had ensured that I cancelled before I would be charged. This app stole my money. I have attempted to reach out to the customer service email several times (I have also failed to find a phone number or a live chat). I have yet to hear from them after a week of trying to get in contact with someone to get my money returned to me. I have now had to get in contact with my bank to dispute the charge since it was unauthorized. I did not want it to get to that point but due to the negligence of those running the app/customer service I have had to.

Excellent timesaver for blueprints. I use this app for all documents but most of all for blueprints of all sizes. Using the quality camera in my iPhone and a flat work space I am able to scan old Railroad prints that need to be updated, change them to a format that can be edited ( I use PDF Editing software to edit mine), clean and brighten up and save. Now all that is left is to print them out myself from my home printer or send them digitally to a blueprint printer at work. I have had employees scan documents at the scene of accidents so I have multiple options of what type of file to save or send the documents in. I love this app and I use it all the time.

BE CAREFUL OF ‘FREE TRIAL’. In June 2022, I downloaded the app to see if this is what I needed. In order to check the app I chose ‘1 week free trial’. I’m pretty tech savvy and looked for that check box that mentioned ‘auto renewal’ and didn’t not see it and tested the app. After realizing it’s not what I need I removed the app from my phone. Now a year later I got an email from Apple saying my subscription is about the expire. Upon further examination I’ve learned that last year I was charged for a full year subscription. When calling Apple they confirmed my subscription will not renew, however, they refused to refund me the fee because it’s too old. I’ve told them I never used it once (just to test in that free trial) but this fact didn’t matter to their refund policy rules. My feedback is not for the quality of app, just be careful of the ‘free’ trial option. Please make sure the auto renewal option is super visible.

Very Disappointed, PDF Saving and Sharing Too Difficult. This seemed like a great app and easy to use. However after scanning my document, I couldn’t save or upload it anywhere. Unclear instructions on how to set email up in order to email it to myself. Also I keep seeing their response to others that they “use the email app on your phone” as though that is an excuse. I don’t use the email app on my phone and have no desire to. I use the Gmail app. All other apps I use that have an email feature let me send emails using the Gmail app. It’s absolutely ridiculous this app doesn’t. I tried saving to an album and it saved all 11 pages as separate photos on my phone. I could have just taken pictures if that’s what I wanted. Finally, it seemed easy to upload the file to google drive, but the permissions were fishy. I don’t want to give this app permission to see all my Google drive files (edit and delete them) just to get the PDF into a saved place where I can actually use it. Completely frustrated.

A must have app. If you are after a neat app to scan your papers on the go, then CS is the best app period. I’ve tried many, and this one has almost all the features you can think of, from good scanner that auto correct + crops your images, to a cloud storage that can be used simultaneously on multiple devices (scan on your phone, access it on your PC) Also you can directly convert the scanned documents to PDF and share them to other sharing apps... and many many more features.

Not a single problem!. I have literally never had a single issue with this app. It works perfectly and is really easy to navigate for what I need, scanning driver run sheets and cheques and sending them into the office, with total ease and thus far at no cost whatsoever!?!? STEALING. Good Afternoon, I have realised I was charged for a plan I did not wanted. Today I was planning to use the app and an advertisement went through, my phone got blocked and I could not close or open the app. I tried to block my phone and then it took a picture (recognising my face) and after 30 seconds it says congrats! For your purchase. WHAT IT IS THIS. I don’t want to upgrade or having to pay for something that was a mistake. I have arthritis, my hands were not quick enough to cancel the payment. If you see, I did not use the app after that because I did not need. I NEED MY MONEY TO GET BACK IMMEDIATELY. How is possible Technology instead of make us life easier, take advantage of us.

Can’t go without this files all at hand. This has changed the way I manage things it’s simple easy and makes life easier with my files and documents available on my phone, just awesome and I should note I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and I’ve always recommended it.

CamScanner is an essential. Easy to use ! Helped me fill out lots of forms and share useful documents with friends. As I don't have a scanner this has been really amazing especially when I've needed to hand something in quickly ! Don't be put off by the initial blurry nature of pics as once the documents compiled it resolves and is easily legible. I also love the batch feature to create larger documents with multiple scans.

My hero app. I have used CamScanner since 2013, I have realised it’s power when I was applying for my student visa, with all the documents that required to be signed and scanned ASAP, this app saved my life many times when I only had my phone with me. Best for receipts & docs. I've been using this app for many years. Changed a few phones, had to re-download the app, but because all my scans are saved in the cloud/my online account, I didn't lose any of my scans. The quality is simply amazing. If you need a scan of a document, receipt, or even a photo - this app does it extremely good. Obviously, if I needed a high resolution scan of an artwork, I'd probably use a scanner but for everything else nothing beats the CamScanner.

Expensive. I recently got this app and i thought it was going to be fine for school. My teacher really liked this app but it was too expensive. What type of app wants us to pay $7 to remove a watermark? I looked through the comments and realised this wasn’t even a feature before. Premium might have a lot of old stuff, but it just isn’t worth the money. I am not willing to pay just to get a different icon or to remove the watermark. I’m perfectly fine and this is an otherwise ok app.

Love this app but recent problems. I’ve used this app extensively for various reasons and I never had a problem before until today. I haven’t used it since it updated and for some reason I can’t open the app. It gets stuck on the loading/homepage image and closes :(. It would be great if someone could look into it and see if the update had a bug in it or if anyone else has the same issue.

Continues to decline. I signed up and paid for a lifetime license to CamScanner years ago and introduced a lot of my family and friends to the app. Over the years they have continued to strip away some of the features that was present in the paid version requiring you to subscribe to a licensing fee or pay another lifetime licensing fee which is significantly more exorbitant than any fee they have had before. Plus the app is not as stable as before. I do not recommend spending any money on this product. The app should be called CamScammer.

So handy! A must have app.. Have recommended this app to so many people. Everyone should have it. I scan everything now. Never look for warranty receipts again once scanned. It’s so easy to search them up & produce them off your phone if needed. I’ve even scanned my kids kindy drawings before throwing them out to reduce clutter & I can look back at them on my phone. Brilliant!

Honestly the best app for its type!. Amazing app, both free and premium. It’s worth it and I think the scanning looks SO accurate like what you would on a printer scanner. The only thing was watermark but I don’t mind since you get so much benefit for just one thing like that. It’s so convenient and shows you so many options to share!

Cam Scam more like it. Full of adds with hidden close or timed displays not made clear. Final insult when trying to send a pdf document. Came up with bogus message that iPhone memory full and this locked out any response other than downloading a so called phone memory manager. The other option to ignore this message simply refreshed screen back to memory full. Forced out cam scammer and checked memory on my iPhone. Less than half used. As stated I consider this app and advertisers through this app as scammers and have reported this to Apple as such

What have you done!!. For many years I have enjoyed using this app…… until today! I open the app to scan something for my mum and found that, to send her a copy she needed the app too… She’s in her 80’s and is still getting used to mobile phones!! So disappointed, I’ll need to find another scanning app, sorry?

Quite handy. Had some troubles over three months ago with "Email" function: PDFs sometimes not being received; now is all resolved by using the "Share" function instead. I use it for work and am considering getting the paid version again, although having extra space from writing a review is kind of cool. In the habit of deleting documents more than a month old at any rate (I use it for payroll reporting only). Hope the great work is kept up! Thanks.

Perhaps should be renamed scamscanner. Not happy with this app. I bought the pro version several years ago, which had no adds, no watermarks and unlimited scans. Now I find these benefits have all been removed and every time I try to use the app, a window pops up urging me to buy a gold subscription to once again remove these limitations. What’s more, the only way to get rid of this window and get back to scanning is to close the app and start again! Several months ago I submitted a query to the developers over their web site about all this, but never received a reply. In the past I have recommended this app to other users. I’m now sorry I did so. I have downloaded an alternative which I intend to use going forward.

Simple and effective, but slightly innacurate. Simple. Works fast. Interface is a little misleading compared to most other scanners (which show real-time document edge detection) so took me a minute to figure out just to take the photo. Detection was a little mediocre (missed one corner and didn’t account for curved edge, even though it was a plain white document on a blue and white patterned table cloth). But it’s the simplest and easiest to use now I’m used to it. No silly cloud upload. Simple PDF or JPG sending with clever title editor including auto date suggestions. My new scanner app of choice.

Good but limited.... It has so many nice features to use and it’s extremely helpful for converting pictures into PDFs that can actually be legible unlike photocopies and scans. However, it’s a shame that you cannot access most of the options without unlocking a premium version. If you have the free version, options are very limited and you have to compromise a lot to make it work for you.

Brilliant mobile scanner. I don’t remember when I first discovered CamScanner but I do know that it’s been my go to app for scanning all my documents and receipts easily and quickly. I especially love that you can take pictures at an angle and it autocorrects them. Add to that the different colour filtering and you have a one stop shop for scanning stuff. I highly recommend this app to everyone to have on their mobile.

Excellent and amazing. It is a very handy and professional software. I use it very often for most of my work. Easy to scan and send to anyone directly. It has single and batch feature. I am happy with this but just one thing I find little tricky that every time I scan I have to check the doc because sometimes it does take the whole page means crop the page automatically so I need to re-edit. Apart from that everything is very good.

Great app but a persistent bug. I love this app- I used the free app for awhile and then purchased. I use this for work and find using the Touch ID great for security for client’s paperwork I have scanned. However for at least the last month, I have had no access due to the Touch ID not working. I place my digit on as required and doesn’t accept so I can’t access documents. I was hoping the latest update would fix but no. NOTE: I don’t have this issue with Touch ID on any other app on my phone so it doesn’t seem to be the iPhone Touch ID itself. I would urge the company who has designed this app to please look into ASAP as it has now unfortunately become redundant for me until fixed.

From PPT to pocket.. At a meeting where numerous PPT slides were presented. A quick click on each and I could take them home in my pocket. CamScanner quickly adjusted each image for keystoning and cropped extraneous material. Handy to have until the speaker could send me the originals though he probably didn't even need to. Great for capturing research on the fly for essays via the OCR function. I'm also using it to capture the ISBN numbers for about 600 old books I'm currently cataloging.

Charged subscription when 3 days free were offered. When you open the app it says you can use it 3 days for free. But once you click purchase it charges you $90+ straight away! I wanted to see the functions before making the purchase to see if it fits my requirements. But I didn’t even get a chance to use it for 3 days free as advertised. When clicking App Support, it only sends you to a page to download the app! I usually don’t write bad reviews but this is just a scam and no help is provided! $90+ is a big number to spend on something I am not sure I’ll be using. Especially when it is advertised that first 3 days are free. I would be happy to redo my review if someone from the app centre can resolve my problem! But until then, this is a scam!

No longer supported. I have been using the app for about 4 years and although it is not perfect it has always worked. However over the last month it has stopped syncing. Their interface has changed and become a nightmare to navigate and they no longer answer support requests. I am downloading what data I have left with them before they turn the server's off. I won't be updating the app any further for fear of feature loss. Looking for alternatives now. Note: I have been a paid premium user that whole time

Efficient and extremely user friendly!. This is an amazing app and it’s even more amazing that it’s free. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’ve got applications to fill out and the like, it is extremely easy to “scan” and upload it. It doesn’t front as being perfect with the AI and gives you the option to adjust the corners so you don’t have to try a million times to get the perfect picture. Well done team!

Useful and easy to use. I have this app very useful for storing my receipts. So long as you tag the photo correctly, it’s very easy to find quickly. The photo scanner is intuitive, it mostly knows where the edge of the paper docket is, so it’s fast and a pleasure to use. I feel I only use some of the features but that’s enough for me and this app is definitely improving my lifestyle and helping me stay organized and tidy. I would (and have) recommend it with no hesitation. The only downside is the pop up adds but that’s typical with a free app, isn’t it?

Best app ruined by ads and lack of options to remove them. There is no way on this earth that paying near to $100/year to remove ads is justified. The app’s scanning features are unparalleled but to blatantly put multilayered ads, with different means to close them and only having them removed in a single tier premium version is robbery. No longer using nor recommending this app any further least there is a means to pay for an adless version without the full premium suite.

THE BEST SCANNING APP. The CamScanner is a must have scanning app. I have the free Basic version, and my scans come out crystal clear, way ahead of any of its competitors. I don’t use the app on a daily basis, and that’s why I haven’t upgraded to the paid versions. A very big thank you to the developers for such an excellent scanning app……✅✅✅

Best scanning software around. I’ve told heaps of people about this app - it takes away all need to depend on a scanner. The best part is the high resolution on images, you can’t get the same just from using camera on phone, and you can email directly from the app. Can’t recommend more highly. One suggestion please - can we access the files remotely ie from outside the app? Thanks

Great replacement for scanner and laptop. When my laptop died I had to find a way to scan and send documents etc. this app has proven to be a much better and much more convenient way to do the job I won’t have much use for my scanner now even when I replace my laptop Thanks for a great app.

Scam. I also purchased the CamScanner+ a few years ago and it seems to have disappeared completely from the App Store, or have been merged into this free ad-ridden version. Maybe you were thinking, “I’ll just pay the one time fee for basic scanning abilities…” it’s $500 AUD!!!! That is more than my actual physical Canon printer/scanner cost. Sure, this is a little more convenient, but that is an absolute joke!! Keep dreaming SCAMSCANNER. I’d like a refund for the + app if it’s no longer supported. A scanner is NOT a subscription!! I’m sick of these apps gouging for everything they can.

Files saved. This app save my life,I was trying to find some important pdfs documents but I couldn’t, so then I remember that years ago I used it to scan and save those files I was looking for. All I had to do was login with my account and everything was there just beautifully fine. Thank you so much!!!

Ads stuck on screen. As the title says, when I opened the app, an ad shows. Usually, on any other app you can click off it, but for whatever reason, the close button on these ads don’t work and I’m stuck looking at an advertisement and can’t even use the app for its purpose. This never was an issue before but now since ads pop up on start up it’s incredibly frustrating. The scanning feature is fine, works great actually. But getting to that point is a total, unnecessary nightmare.

Palm Scanner. I would go the tedious way of connecting laptop to scanner to scan pages one by one before saving them to a directory and mailing to destination. CamScanner takes the pain out of scanning. I can adjust the scan size and share or save in one of million possible ways. Superb I must say!

Was great. Have used for years trouble free but now I’m getting harassed to subscribe. I only scan a couple of pages a month but now I can’t do that because a subscription ad has blocked access. Oh well, moved to Adobe scan. Bye bye Thanks for the response below v but I can’t send feedback because the giant ad to purchase app blocks the entire screen. I can’t respond to your email you sent because the “ contract developer” button takes me to a page to show me features of the app. Tried to help, good luck and good bye.

Couldn't run my business without this. I use this app every day for sending documents to both clients and my office. It is quick, clear and easy to use. I still remember not so long ago having to go to the front desk at motels to send faxes. I never have any problems with this app and highly recommend it

Had an unauthorised charge to my bank account for 98AUD.. Never subscribed to Premium or anything. Yet I had somehow had a 98AUD transaction and got a year's worth of Premium without asking for it. Had to start a dispute over it with my bank. Not sure why this happened. I received no documentation, receipt or confirmation from Camscanner after the money was charged. I sent an email to support and they were of no help, just recommended I put forward a dispute with Apple support. Very disheartened by the whole experience, considering I had been using CamScanner's free service since 2020. Hope they take steps to ensure it does not happen in the future.

Brilliant. I went for a new job (I’d been in the previous one for twenty years) and the HR department requested I scan all the required documents and then email them through. Initially I was a bit daunted about how I would go about this until I found CamScanner. I can’t believe how easy the app is to use and how clear the documents are. I don’t know how to do all the things the app recommends but I keep coming back to scan all of my important papers because it’s easy to locate them and the clarity is brilliant. Thank you CamScanner

I can’t redownload my pro version of Camscanner. I had to erase my phone and it seems to have gone - I can’t redownload the pro version of Camscanner that I’ve paid for a couple of years ago. It’s been really helpful on the go and quality of scans was good but just can’t get back in with my log in details nor is re-downloadable. 5 stars for the app but don’t know what’s happening. 3 stars overall.

Major Bug. It’s a fairly good app, but it has had a major bug for well over a year now, that each app update does not address. When trying to upload to any cloud as a PDF, there is always an “upload failed message”. But this only happens for clouds that have already been linked to CS. There needs to be a way to unlink and then re-link a cloud, I’m sure that would fix the issue. But there is still no way to logout of a cloud once it has been linked.

Good - but poor ethics. I loved the app - was willing to pay $4.99. However now those creating the app indicate they would like us to pay over $7 in order to remove the ‘scanned by Camscanner’ watermark which was not there previously. The very definition of fee for no service. In making a move like this Camscanner leadership show their focus is on seeking to take money as their primary motivation, as opposed to building a better product and attracting greater profits through innovation and better service. I’m always interested in the ethics and motives behind the things that I put money into, and don’t appreciate the bad taste left behind by this experience of Camscanner.

Good but no iPad support. The app does a pretty decent job at scanning documents. It’s UI (specifically the document management part of it) it’s a bit clunky but all in all the tool is pretty powerful. With this being said, how does the app not have iPad support? Given that just about the only thing I ever use my iPads camera for is scanning documents, the fact that this app does not have iPad support (it opens in an iPhone sized window which can be scaled up to a blurry mess) is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure the last time I found an app like this on iPad was back in 2010 when the iPad was first released. Considering the premium subscription price of this app is priced at “business” rates (90 aud a year is expensive enough that you’re only going to be paying it if you REALLY use the app), I would expect iPad support for the devices prevalence in business settings. Unless iPad support is provided, I’ll just be using the Adobe scanning app which is simply a better experience.

Cam Scanner app Review by SHHB Transport Services. I use this app extensively to lighten/brighten documents or photos that I need to email to people either through my business or personally. Before using this app I would send things through and people on the other end receiving them would complain that the documents or photos were too dark or too light! Now with Cam Scanner that problem is gone with the simple click of a few buttons! Thanks Cam Scanner you are amazing 😉

Very good at scanning and sending documents, however ads are annoying only giving review so I can have more space just in case I don’t want to pay for more storage, good app but recommend to scan and send any documents, it brightens documents when you can’t see them very well can choose which effect and can save them on the app or send share etc. good app

Latest update has some annoying features. I have been using CamScanner for work for about 2 years with no complaints. Until now. One of the new features is Recognize Text. I can appreciate that it is a handy feature but I don’t want to use it. Every page that I re-edit it wants me to use it. It changes from Image to Text and I would like there to be a way to disable this in the app. Please advise how this feature can be turned off if not needed. Also I can no longer swipe my finger over the pages I want to email, now I have to tap each one. Being able to swipe to highlight was a nifty feature but is now just that bit more time consuming. Thanks

Long Term User Disappointed at Reduced Functionality. I first started using this app about 10 years ago when it was one of the first scanning apps. I stayed loyal to the app and paid the one off fee to upgrade from the free version. I have now found that you have added ads and watermarks back onto the product and I now have to enter into a subscription service to return to the functionality I had previously paid for. You haven't kept track of your customers history when downgrading the app by way of “upgrades” NOT HAPPY

Crazy app with ads. Due to the continuous ads I felt like I have installed app for ads where cam scanner pops up. Dont Install this failed app. I have been using this for many years and now when the developer became greedy he stopped respecting clients and started digging money through ads. But worth... install something else. Now i can’t even send scanned files as they might have done something because of the bad review I have posted which I am about to take legal actions.

Moving files from folder to folder caused the file to disappear completely. Mostly I like this app (premium version). But today I went to move a file from one folder to another but the file disappeared and when I tried to look up stuff about restoring it said to go to the backup and restore option in the settings but then that says if you delete something in cm scanner it completely deletes it and doesn’t explain how to attempt to restore a file (given I definitely did not click delete I’d like to try). How can I attempt to restore? Surely moving one file from a folder to another should be super simple. If I’d realised this was going to happen I never would have tried as it’s a document I need to keep and is now seemingly gone forever.

Best and last app you’ll ever need to store your documents. There is no easier way to scan, share and store your documents that CamScanner, the app is super easy to use and reliable. I have been using it for several years and never used again my scanner at home !! Even for several pages scanning is better as you don’t have to worry about paper jam or anything like that !!

They stole $45. DO NOT USE!!!. I used it for 10 mins and only clicked on the free trial to do so, next time I checked my balance it said I used a $45 subscription don’t click on the free trial it’s a trap.

Went downhill. Had this app for years and it was good. All of a sudden I lost everything. In pay for the full subscription and cannot restore my purchases. I I I attempted to work with the customer service but you get a generic email giving basic Instructions that don’t work. I’ve lost such important documents. When I finally got a hold of someone, they told me it’s my phone. I spent 2 hours and 16 minutes on the phone troubleshooting the app. IT’S the APP! Don’t trust this app.

Disappointed with their automatic renewal. Downloaded this add and never ended up using it. In the end it charged me 70 dollars after 3 days which I noticed less than 24 hours later.... seems unnecessary to put a 1 year automatic renewal on this app.

Malware. There is an article about this app explaining it has malware in its advertising. Also if you read the other 1 star reviews, you will see that they advertise a monthly subscription but immediately charge a full year of pay.

CamScanner. Crooked will steal money from your accounts by faking a subscription that you can’t cancel or delete, and worse you cannot remove their program from your iPhone. No endorsement from here.

Very sneaky, will charge you a full year subscription of $66. I downloaded this app to try based on suggestion of my son’s teacher. It says there is a trial period, so, I downloaded and try it. I find out I don’t need it, but I didn’t immediately remove it. Today, I clean up the apps and remove it, then there is a pop up saying I have a subscription. I am surprised as I never subscribe to it. I contact support, it turns out that I need to cancel it, otherwise I will get charged for a full year subscription!!! This is ridiculous!!!

Stop touching things. I really don’t know what is with developers and tweaking/touching an app that was already perfect. Now the scan is ruined.. For years I have used cam scanner and always redownloaded on new devices but is with the new scanning of images.. cannot even recognize edges any longer 😔😩

Charge without clarification. I thought I was signing up for a free trial (and I did have a chance for a free trial) but instead I was charged $50 for only half a year and it’s not refundable even if I applied for it twice! Really a crappy app!

Wrong purchase. It says only for 1 week then they charged me for 1 year.

App kept crashing after recent update. The app cannot run on the phone. Once I clicked on it, it crashed. Cannot use any of the functions.

HORRIBLE MISTAKE. They charged me 75 Canadian and I used it once and it didn’t even come out clearly so I had to defer to a real scanner! Apple won’t respond, the company won’t respond and now my finances are messed up going forward. This is horrible customer service and I am appalled with both the company and Apple. Remedy this situation!

Re-cropping. All my scans are being cropped to fit in your watermark cutting off important information. I can’t figure out how to keep the full document and the watermark. I’ve loved this app for years but now it’s useless.

Worst scanner app out there. It takes you 5-6 tries just to finally save the image and attempt to send it. Then out of nowhere TWO ADS COME AND INTERRUPT YOU. Then again it takes you 2-3 more tries to finally send the image. The amount of ads on this app is infuriating. You open the app? Ad? You’re doing A TEST and want to scan something quick? TWO ADS IN A ROW. you finally send the image and want to scan another one? TWO MORE ADS. It’s ridiculous literally use any other scanner app, sure they all have ads but NOT AS MUCH AS THIS ONE and at least those apps work from the first try. Zero stars if I could

Charged even after canceling. I needed a scanning app and found this one and thought I’d try out the 3 day free trial thing and I didn’t like it at all so I canceled the subscription and deleted the app. Today I got charged $70 for the yearly subscription EVEN THOUGH I CANCELED IT!!!! I am very unhappy and would like to talk to someone about this issue.

Automatically renewed subscription. Same issue as the people posting: I got charged for the subscription of $70 even though I made sure not to select that option. Also, reporting the problem through Apple resulted in them determining that "my purchase does not meet the conditions for a refund." I don't know how I will get that money back.

I used to love this scanner. This is a great scanner app in every sense of the word. Unfortunately over time it has become more and more difficult to do anything with the scans. First send to email stopped working. No matter what you do the send button remains permanently greyed out. Now various options like upload to google drive also fail. Watermarks are added unless you pay a monthly subscription. You cannot auto backup without a monthly subscription. Full ocr features are no longer available without a monthly subscription. The only way I could copy my scans was the connect to computer and that requires clicking on one document at a time, then pressing the PDF viewer download button, and then the back button. You must remember and scroll to the next document. The connection times out every few minutes. “wget” and other transfer tools may not be used. New scans are added at random place in the list. In short, now that I manually backed up my scans, time to switch to a new app, because I do not scan enough with my phone to justify a $4/month subscription, and I don’t even know if that would fix features like send scan by email.

Perfection. This is literally the best app I own. I’m not the type to rate or review things so that alone is a testament to how good this product is. They provide exactly what you need, document scanning and do not charge you for it. You get the basic functionality and if you purchase the upgrade you get a ton of very useful features. I am so shocked every time I use this app (which is way more often than you’d think) and that they haven’t decided to start nickel and diming their customers. Highly recommend this for everyone to download!

USED TO BE the best app on my phone.. For years I’ve been using this app to transfer documents from paper to digital, digital to paper, etc. I used it for school work, photos, documents, and other types of media. Today when I opened the app and went to scan a document, a non-removable watermark appeared on the document. For the purposes of my typical document transfers, it is not acceptable to have a watermark on the documents. It looks unprofessional and ugly. Keep in mind that not having watermarks plastered onto your documents was once a free feature of this app, and made it the best one on the App Store. This is no longer the case. It is now the policy of this company to lock all of the features that were once free, behind a paywall which is purely an act of greed, seeing as those features (like watermarks) were apparently not worth paying for previously. The app offers an insanely high price for purchasing permanent access to those once free features, ($300) and if you do not pay that fee, and want to retain the originally free features, you must pay the same amount as many streaming services are charging for their regular service on a month to month basis. Unacceptable, goodbye.

Best app ever. The Free version is Phenomenal I couldn’t imagine how the upgraded version will be! I’ll let you know! I only take time to write a good review, I don’t believe in bashing someone’s work! To write this you are getting a very true opinion. I’ve had this free app for a long time. I won’t upgrade for a while either because if the free one offers you so much then you know it’s worth paying to improve it even more. When you download “free” apps and one thing is free and you can’t use it to know if it’s worth using for your needs I delete it not upgrade. This app was actually recommended to me by a huge mobile phone carrier.

Document scanning on the go. CamScanner has been my go to app for scanning on the go for at least 3 years now. I am able to use it from my iPhone or iPad. I am able to scan single or batch jobs. More importantly, I am able to continue adding documents later to the same file without a lot of extra hoops. The auto focus and document sizer gets it right sometime but it really doesn’t take much time to fix a document in the event it scans it the wrong way. I do not have to fix it immediately either. If the document size scanned wrong CamScanner still picked up the entire document. I can go in and fix it at my leisure.

Confused!. iOS mobile app. Premium had 4 lines same price with no description explaining what was included. It was not sufficient so I upgraded to Gold. It to had same 4$ no descriptions what was included. I tried to cancel Premium wouldn’t allow, after upgrade to Gold. I unhappy tried to cancel not allowed. Only add to the end of the years end. Has many problems no return reply after my contacting, Just now: it would not extract the text and what it did: was not spelled as on original. An add popped up to buy newest CamScanner APP, I clicked to see what it included and was charged not just shown the options. Oddly on top of charges it shows same end date as other two apps not a full year

Best On-The-Go Application. I have witnessed many amazing programs during my teenage years and years dedicated to M.I.T. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). This application offers a very simple, yet very diverse GUI (Graphical User Interface) that makes it the perfect mobile PDF application for the normal person. Whilst I typically choose to use a very, very expensive PDF-based program, I am essentially required to do such as a result of my career. I highly recommend this application to all whom do not require an expensive program with a broad range of options. Because there’s so very few whom require PDF resources on a typical basis, CamScanner is your best and most efficient option.

Amazing App. I really love this app. It works wonderfully. I use it all the time. It works just as well as any traditional scanner. It is much more convenient to use this app vs. using my printer/ scanner/ copier. I love that it doesn't cost me any money to use, it makes very high quality images, and I can make the scan into a PDF. I also use this if I need to fax anything. I will first take a picture with CamScanner, and the I can import it into another app I use to send faxes. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs to send documents anywhere, via email, text, or fax. I also recommend it anyone who use their phone or tablet in place of a laptop for work. It is such a handy app to have.

Excellent timesaver for blueprints. I use this app for all documents but most of all for blueprints of all sizes. Using the quality camera in my iPhone and a flat work space I am able to scan old Railroad prints that need to be updated, change them to a format that can be edited ( I use PDF Editing software to edit mine), clean and brighten up and save. Now all that is left is to print them out myself from my home printer or send them digitally to a blueprint printer at work. I have had employees scan documents at the scene of accidents so I have multiple options of what type of file to save or send the documents in. I love this app and I use it all the time.

Easy, seamless and free!. I’ve been using CamScanner for a few years now and I have been very pleased by it. It has come in handy so many times when I had to “scan” something. It is a very intuitive app with features like single page and batch. The color enhancement feature works great as well, especially on things that are hard to read otherwise. I love the fact that I can get mail scanned documents as attachments within the app. I haven’t even bothered to look at any other apps because I haven’t had any issues with it. It is hard to find a free app with such great features!

Replaced my scanner and my laptop!. I am on the road with freight and used to carry a scanner and laptop and briefcase with paperwork.. I now only carry my smart phone and a handful of envelopes and stamps. I scan carefully, email the PDF to the office and the office believes they are better than a fax as they can print in color if need to. The original goes into an envelope and mailed at the first mail box I see. No need for a copy the is one in the app and another in my email. And And I don't worry about losing the original, it's the post office responsibility now! I have tried some of the other similar apps but believe Camscanner is the best.

Secure & Email Docs Professionally. I've used the Cam Scanner for the last 2 years and I have successfully secured and sent each one of my business contracts to my corporate office for production. That's hundreds of contracts annually. I travel for my career and it is necessary to send each Contract completed in the field, to the office to start its work order. I usually use Cam Scanner 4-6 times a week and every Contract has gone through professionally and without issue. It is the best tool an Independent Contractor can have when your docs getting into the office is attached to your income and the companies revenue. Thank you Cam Scanner!

Charged my card after I UNSUBSCRIBED and never responded to my request for refund.. I used this for 1 or 2 times for my class. It did not work as well as the one my professor recommended so I started to use another app that worked much better and my professor could read my papers easier. I am very sure I hit the unsubscribe button but they proceeded to take out $50 from my account. For something that I don’t use and won’t use. I requested a refund after I saw the charges right away and they NEVER got back to me. I attempted to contact them again but now conveniently is too late to request anything from these guys. $50 for 2 scans? My printer with scanner cost around that. Definitely not the best app on apple store. There’s apps with much better pricing that can also do a better job. Don’t get this app.

Cam Scanner App. Best free app I have ever used. Let’s you take pictures either in single or batch and scans them just like a printer scanner. The options to email, upload or download to multiple places makes it so convenient and easy to use! I would definitely recommend this app whether you need a scanner for work, school, business or personal use. Downside: The app only lets you make three folders to organize your scans then you have options to upgrade at monthly premiums. The same goes for scanning ID cards like a license, or passport. Other than that the app is perfect!

Missing file. Loved this app. Used it for school, personal stuff, and work. Last night I looked for some files and all but 7 files seem to have disappeared or got deleted. Where could they go I did not delete. Now they want subscriptions which basic mode always worked with a problem. I could almost cry because the amount of stuff I lost. Any help would be great. Also never needed an account the device stored everything locally. No I did not reset or restore the device either so it’s not lost because of that.

Perfect PDF Converter. As an editor, many items I handle require PDF conversion. I tried another PDF converter that captured horribly large pictures with poor lighting. Someone introduced me to CamScanner, which figuratively changed my life. I saved countless hours by switching, which reduced the amount of time I took correcting and editing the image from the prior App. CamScanner identified the boarders, white-washed the image (to reduce any shading issues, and automatically OCR’ed every document for convenient searching. This is a phenomenal app, and I highly recommend CamScanner for anyone who needs image to PDF conversion on either occasional or daily use.

Don’t waste your money to buy premium. I have been using the app for several years and paid for premium for two years. But recently I just found at premium level, they started to add water marks to pdf, and now it requires you to pay more to get gold level to remove pdf watermark. I paid 50 dollar a year simply to get a no watermark feature, but the app sneakily changed the feature offered to premium account! If you can live with the watermark on pdf or fine with saving it as a jpg, it is still a pretty useful and user friendly app. But I’m really disappointed at this kind of behaviour of treating customers. I read there are other people who also encountered issue with premium accounts and wrote a review, and I don’t see a satisfactory response from the company there, so please consider that before you pay for subscription.

Works Well But is Annoying. The product works really well. It produces PDFs from images and lets you batch photos to make multiple page PDFs from something like a note book. However, its really pushy about wanting you to get the paid version. I know that making a profitable product is important but I feel like most people are using this for school and can’t afford / doesn’t want to have to pay for an app for school. I’m fine with seeing the message a few times when first getting into the app but it’s there every time you open the app. If it was just a little less pushy about that I’d give it 5 stars.

The Ultimate in CYA Protection. I use my CamScanner app a LOT. I can’t tell you how many times it has come to my rescue. I routinely scan receipts for large ticket items (purchase receipt required for in-warranty repairs to laptop), or items which need to be registered (think screen protector with lifetime warranty). The document is always available on the app, but then I use CamScanner to also email a copy of the scanned item to myself. I’ve actually had MVA accept an item from my CamScanner app for one of those crucial documents you must produce to get your driver’s license! VERY easy to use. Never any glitches, hiccups or down time. Definitely recommend very highly!!

Life saver. This is the best scanner app ever. I have an appointment and am already on the way, i forgot to take printouts of few imp docs. On the way to my work i scanned all the copies and mailed to my email. After reaching to my work place i just directly printed them in a bulk. If this app wasn’t there, i wouldn’t have been to the meeting on time. This is a true life saver, mean while i came across to few other scanner apps but all of them are like paid versions after the trail, and the trail wouldn’t last for long period atleast. This was recommended to me by my friend and all I could say is this is the best scanner app ever. Loved it😘😘

Easy to use, great quality scanned pics. Wow! I’m very impressed with CamScan. Super easy to use! The scanned pics came out so clear. In the app they give you the option to share it via email, text, messenger, etc. You also have the option to turn it into a pdf or word doc. I was able to do all of this via my phone. It’s so convenient and I got the job done in less time than it would’ve taken me via a traditional scanner that’s connected to my laptop. Thank you CamScan! Love This App!!!. This is one of the best apps I have found thus far for my documents. My handwriting isn’t the best but once it scans my document, it seems to help make it a little bit more legible, especially for my instructor and classmates. I also like how it allows me to choose whether I want the document to be lighter or darker than the original. I’m not one to write reviews for apps, but this one has definitely done wonders for my work! I plan to use this app for the remainder of my classes, especially those that require assignments to be hand written. I am definitely recommending this app to my friends.

CAMScanner the best!. Hello, I use CAMScanner for nursing school and all the corresponding documents necessary for completion. I have been with this app and program for the entirety of the nursing program and it has worked wonders for me when submitting documents that required a print-out with signature. I can easily scan the document and submit it through my phone and it automatically syncs to my laptop/computer thus helping me submit the assignment online in my school portal. Although the only thing that is faulty is the limited amount of 200MB space yet that can be solved with a few options CAMSCANNER has on mind on their application and website.

Best PDF scanner App / Best Customer Support. I’ve been using this app for many years and it had never failed me. Any issues I had , their support agents responded to my emails promptly and fixed the issue right away. I just want to update my above review. As I indicated I’m using this app for many many years and had no issues whatsoever. The Fax works perfect each and every time. Their TECHNICAL SUPPORT as I mentioned in my older review, are the best there is. They are knowledgeable, courteous and very kind people. I definitely recommend this app over any other similar apps

Awesome scanning App. After using this for almost 3.5 years, I am still a happy users. Throughout these years, app has performed really well. Updates to the app were well engineered so there has been no issue after an update. Coming back to performance of this app. Nothing could be better than “point and scan”. The user interface is easy to use and well designed. Once the scan is complete, it is really easy to save it locally or share via email or installed texting apps. I highly recommend this to any one looking for an easy way to scan important documents.

Bait and Switch. I paid for CamScanner Pro and now it is gone, but I am being asked to pay for a subscription service just to remove their watermark which I already paid to have removed. Really? This company’s commitment to paying customers is nonexistent. Update and note to the developer who responded to m review: The developer says I can download camscanner +, but that is not the app version I downloaded and pad for previously. The version I paid for was CamScanner pro. If I followed their suggestion, I would have to pay for a different app than the one I have already purchased license to. Also, I prepaid for faxes and the balances that I paid that were left over as well as the transaction history are now lost. I would be happy to update my review if this is resolved, but so far nothing has changed.

Used to be my favorite - but glitched out in key moment. I preferred this app for scanning my tests (as my classes have been online), and I liked the editing/tuning interface and capabilities of this app. But the last time I used it (maybe because it was the first time I’d used In in a month or two), while in the middle of scanning my test it asked me for rating my experience, and I tried to get out of that and then it asked for feedback, and then it froze and crashed. Maybe don’t ask me repeatedly for feedback while I’m in the middle of a scan. And then crash. Crashed twice in a row, once the night before when I tried to do a test run of the scanning and emailing process, but then my phone died so I just went to bed and assumed it would work next time I opened it. So here’s the feedback y’all wanted.

Ideal for online school!. I have been using Cam Scanner for the longest time, but since this year every single form of education has been moved to online and we still need to print and fill out worksheets, this app is perfect for that. I recently got Premium and Haven't regretted it! It truly is worth it since sometimes I need to compress really long worksheets! The dozen of filters they include to make the image look better never ceases to amaze me how good they look! I also love the feature of sending it to your PC, it makes handing in work that much easier. Overall, a lovely experience. Definitely would recommend!

No easy way to unsubscribe. This app does a good job for a camera-based scanner. If you do a lot of document scans and can justify the purchase and subscription, then this might just be one of your core apps. However, the deal-breaker is no easy way to cancel the subscription. I was really surprised that Apple allows this app to exist in their store without a simple option to cancel. A quick search through websites that instruct how to cancel are dead ends. The developer’s site shows all the bells and whistles, but doesn’t inform about unsubscribing. If I had the option to cancel and resubscribe, then I might feel differently; however, no option to unsubscribe just turned this app into a no-go. I don’t care how good it is, if I can’t get rid of it when I don’t want it any more, then I don’t want it at all. Buyer beware.

Don’t Use. I had the annual paid subscription for CamScanner. It worked well for scanning and sharing or keeping files. At some point in the last few months, an update was made to the app. All of my files were consolidated instead of being in their organized folders. And all changed to text, no formatting, just a jumble of text. I reached out several times, which was a challenge in itself as they offer limited avenues for contact. And every person responded as if I was speaking gibberish. I sent screenshots numerous times, and there was no effort of any kind to assist. I assume English is not a first language, and it was clear I was not being understood. This has been left unresolved. I have lost several files that I didn’t have backed up elsewhere. It would have been better to save in my Photos in folders. Don’t waste your time or money.

Subscription issues have me on edge. The switch to apple store based subscriptions wasn’t smooth. I was told that the part of the subscription that was paid already would be refunded or some sort of credit would be given based on how much time was left on the subscription, but here we are several months later and still no credit or update on what happened to that. The MacOS application is no better and functionality is very limited. There was even a point where I had two different versions of the iOS app on my phone that had two different subscription types for the same account, and didn’t understand why that was or which one was I should use.

Great user friendly scanner. This is a fantastic no-frills scanner that is very easy to use and doesn’t have all the bells and whistle‘s that some others do that you end up spending more time trying to navigate around the app then you should. It also allows you to back up your documents in the cloud for free and offers more space if you do things like Refer the app to friends or post on Facebook etc. It has motivated me to finally get all my paperwork organized so I have scanned in all my receipts, billing statements, medical forms etc. and they are now all in my little phone and not all over the house in crumpled little piles!

I love this app.. This scanner is the best thing since sliced bread! It is the best on the go scanner, fax, email, print directly from your phone application. You always have your paperwork on you. You can scan it directly into your phone by just taking a picture. And you can log into your account from anywhere and get your documentation. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I use it for my job all the time and the fact that I can fax from my phone is priceless. I have been using this for years and it gets better with time.

Amazing. I use this more than I probably should. When I first got the app, I thought it was just nice to have, just in case. And sorry math teacher, I didn’t believe you when you said that I would use this for all of my other classes. This is the best submission app I have ever experienced. It is easy to use, and I have never had any problems with he assignments that I turn in. I have been surprised when my teachers ask me what app I am using, just because hey can read all of my answers and see all that I have written. Great app, going to use through high school and college.

So glad I found you!. Easy to use and efficient. I have a scanner app that would require me to scan items individually and then download them to be a folder for everything to be 1 file. This app is easy to retake and “add” additional items to one downloadable pdf, word or notes. I use it for a college textbook, the images are clear and easy to share to laptop, tablet and with classmates. I give this app 10 stars if possible for giving me a scanning process that leaves me doing half the work I need to do in comparison to other apps! Please use!

Amazing, yet frustrating at times. Overall, I am very pleased with CamScanner and have found nothing like it. The only thing that I don’t like is how it will batch scan when you only want to scan one item or it will make it so that you have to like label something with the exact dates I have paid for membership with CamScanner and I think it’s worthwhile someone else told me you don’t have to do this, but I believe I get extra storage. I wish it integrated with more apps like OneDrive or Google Drive but I can share my pdfs w these.

Email does not work. I had to email some time sensitive information to my accountant only to find out several days later they never received it even though the app told me that the email have been sent. I tried to resend it several times to myself to test the app and I never got a confirmation- nothing worked. I tried contacting customer support to see if they could look into it a little further as to whether or not, my app was not working properly. Something need to be updated or if it’s a feature no longer available to me but they don’t make it easy for you to contact them and when I looked them up online, the contact page doesn’t go anywhere it says contact us but any link you click on does not work. Very disappointed.

What the **** did you do to the app?. I have a small home business, and I use this app close to 100 times a day, and I’m a subscriber and have been for years. I even recommend this app to many all the time. But this update has made the app actually unusable, the main thing is how long it’s taking to upload? The scan I just did. Why upload? It’s all done on my phone previously. I don’t get it, this thing was fast, efficient, and worked perfectly. But as usual someone thinks. oh let’s change a perfectly good app for no reason, other than to make it look new. Now I’m forced to use a backup app I don’t care for because this one is unusable. Oh ya I tried to leave something in a customer support… but how does one find that? Nothing online website. Nothing on the app. Really frustrating!

Help!. I love the app, I have been using it for years now. Unfortunately I have switch to an iPhone and this app doesn’t work the same. I mean, after a few hours I can no longer use the app. Every time I open it, it closes back up. I have over 800 files in my CamScanner account. I NEED this app for my business. It’s very irritating to have to install this app twice a day because that’s how often I use this app. I’m on a XS Max. Help please! I think you guys need to let the app open up instead of immediately throwing the add up. That seems to be my force closing issue. But I have to uninstall and reinstall the app everyday.

Wondering if this great and useful app has a permanent subscription. This is without a shadow of a doubt a great, useful and necessary application that truck drivers, accounting and office people should have. I was under the impression that CamScanner had a permanent subscription, one that you can purchase once, but maybe I’m mistaken. If you could bring back that feature, I would most definitely buy it. Thanks for the awesome job put into this app. Keep surprising us in the near future with more useful features. Like I said, I just want to buy the premium version of this app one time, instead of paying for a gold tier every month.

First time user - very satisfied. I never write reviews on apps but I thought this one deserved one. I was in a rush to scan some important documents and I downloaded a few different scanner apps. This was my favorite one. Easy to use, simple layout and I really appreciated the editer. I was able to save the scans to my pdfs with no problem. I love how they numbered the scans so I didn't save multiple copies. They have a watermark on the "free version" but upon purchase you can remove it. There was also no limit on how many scans you can do which I really really loved. Would highly recommend and I look forward to using this scanner in the future as well! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Change the looks please. I have been using your app for years.i love it, But I always find it hard to locate documents. I see that you’ve started files. Now I have to create files for categories and move all my files. It’s just that it still takes me a while to find everything that I want or anything that I want. You have a search feature which is good. But it’s better to have a simpler navigation platform and a better looking visual, similar to what Windows does a notebook with tabs. It’s just a suggestion that you might look into.

Great app but needs some improvements. This is a great app and all, but I only got two complaints that I hope can be fixed. 1) For starters, the only formats available to download are both JPG and PDF (basically the JPG converted as a PDF). Since JPG is lossy, there should be a way to export in PNG as opposed to JPG. 2) When you turn on 'Torch' while taking a picture of the paper you want to scan, the flashlight on your phone stays on till you are done fixing up the scan and get back to the main screen. The torch should ONLY be on when taking a picture through the camera, and not after. Other than these two complaints, I do not see a problem with this app, in fact, I like it for scanning my drawings from paper to digital. :)

great app, has one flaw. Amazing app! I use for my design school to submit my drawings and makes them look professional and computerized with the enhanced feature lighting! I love the organization of the app and user friendliness! That all being said, for some reason there is a glitch that won't let me upload photos i've had to edit on my own, saying that i haven't given access to my camera roll but on my settings everything is correct and they have access to my camera roll, so im having to transfer all the files to another app to be able to make one complete pdf. Once this glitch is fixed, the app is awesome!

This app messes with other apps function.. I downloaded this app to scan some documents and then like an hour later- messenger wouldn’t open, I couldn’t download google drive, Pokémon Go was no longer supported on my iPhone. I also couldn’t see a picture of my screenshots in the photo gallery. While it did it’s job of scanning it was complicated to get it to save to my phone/google drive when I couldn’t download google drive to access the files. Also the app asked for feedback when I had only used the app for two minutes which was very annoying because I haven’t used the app very long to give accurate feedback. I don’t recommend if the app is going to mess with others apps I would use more frequently.

Could not do without it!!. As a teacher I could not operate nearly as efficiently as I need to without this app!!!! I cannot even behind to count how many times I’ve used it to scan copies of my students’ assignments or copies of their projects, etc., so that the parents receive a clear, sharp image that they can print if need be! It’s sooooooo much better than sending a pic of the work and for me to use the scanner in our school office is a walk to another building and up the stairs….not gonna happen when I need something quickly.

Loyal CamScanner Customer. I've been using CS for years and am extremely satisfied. Everything gets scanned - receipts, tax docs you name it. Whenever I sign stuff I CS those docs too for safekeeping. 3 yrs ago my phone was stolen and I thought I lost everything but NOPE! Logged into CS online and everything was there, I was so relieved. I tell everyone I know about this app because it's so convenient to scan, convert to PDF, then email or print copies of anything. Makes faxing signed docs electronically a breeze! On top of that, I can access the same account on multiple devices. Super easy to capture, edit, rename, then email anything you can scan. Love it!!!

Great app!. I use this app to scan all of my physical documents to my computer. My favorite part is that, in addition to being able to scan and email my documents, I can upload them directly to Google drive with CamScanner’s basic subscription (I’ve noticed other scanning apps don’t allow this unless you buy their premium subscription). I’m giving the app four stars instead of five for two reasons: 1. At the bottom of every page you scan, there is a watermark that reads, “Scanned by CamScanner.” This can be annoying when you’re trying to scan official documents. 2. The app recently notified me that I ran out of storage space, prompting me to buy more. I tried deleting my previously scanned documents from the app hoping that this would free up storage, but even after I did that, my storage was still full. It would be nice if the storage could be refilled once items have been deleted. Other than those two things, I have had a very positive experience using the app!

Love This App. I use CamScanner for many personal and business related needs. Today, once again, I am reminded of the ease and convenience CanScanner offers. I use it every month to capture all my business receipts for expense reporting purposes. The ability to capture one large receipt, or several small receipts in one image, makes CanScanner a must have for me. I also rely on taking images at the end of the day, simply adding to my existing monthly file, to avoid my habit of losing a receipt or two throughout the month. Completing monthly expense reports is never a fun event, but CamScanner certainly makes it a lot less painful!
