Reporting is great, but technical problems persist. This is my favorite source of info about the Packers. The die hard fans get their news from the beat writers who’ve covered the team for 30 years. These guys are second to none. Only complaint is technical. I’m often locked out despite being a paying subscriber. It’s an annoying process to get back in.

APP issues. I love the news and content; however, I’m unable to access the paid subscription. I sent an email to support for help and they have not replied in over a week.

Waste. This is dumb. The app worked fine but you only get to read a few articles. You have to subscribe to be able to read the article. The official Packers app is better.

I keep getting locked out. I bought a one year subscription in January of 2018, since then I periodically get locked out (at least twice a month). Typically, if I shut my iPhone down, and reboot, that will do the trick (and I can again get in). But not always. I just canceled, after getting locked out again. I should have gone month to month. Frankly, by the time you post an article on this bizarre app, I’ve already read it on Twitter. To anyone thinking this is a good way to keep up with Packers news, save the money. Twitter is far more efficient, with no lock outs.

Pretty useless for a non-subscriber. Need to be a subscriber to enjoy this app. It’s pretty useless for free readers in spite of seeing FOUR ads stashed between the headlines of the first 12 stories. Details: 8 of the 12 newest stories are for subscribers only. Of the 4 I could read, 1 was about the health of a Patriots player, 2 were recaps of the Patriots Packers preseason game, and the other was about the Packers signees for today. The good stories require subscribing in spite of numerous ads.

Gone. Had a paid subscription for years. Now I get error opening. Doesn’t open. Deleted and downloaded new app now nothing.

Can’t access content. I paid for the app ($48) and it is not recognizing that purchase. Customer service is useless. I have come to the conclusion that I am out $48

Really Poor App. Another reason the newspaper industry is nearly dead. Plenty of Packers news on the web without having to pay for substandard articles

Paid subscription cluttered with ads at every level. And they don’t properly label things, so you think you are opening a story and a loud video pops up instead.

Wouldn’t let me read. So I just got the app clicked on an article for the first time ever and it said You've “reached your limit of free stories for this month”

Login loop support silent. This app was good when it worked but now I am paying for an app which puts me into a loop and emails to support have went unanswered. I also didn't like getting pop up ads from an app I am paying for.

You pay but you don’t get. I’ve paid $48 last year and again this year and the app still locks me out on a regular basis. Now it seems permanent. No one fixes it. Don’t subscribe unless you want to throw away your money.

Doesn’t work. Try getting support, you won’t. I enjoyed the app when it did work. The app has always been inconsistent. At times it would not accept my password, but a hard reboot fixed it. Since the last update it won’t accept my password at all. Customer service is nonexistent. The phone number goes to the newspaper who doesn’t handle the app. The in app help doesn’t work. The in app email address doesn’t elicit a response. Since the update about two weeks ago this is a useless app for me. On an iPhone 7s with up to date OS.

Need to pay or can’t access content.. Worthless unless you subscribe.

Bought a year subscription and it doesn’t work!. This app was working wonderfully for quite some time, until it stopped working. Every time I try to read an article, it tells me that I need a subscription. I’ve tried restoring my purchase, getting a new subscription (it tells me that I have a subscription until May 2020), and even called the Green Bay Press Gazette. Nothing has worked. I don’t know what they did to this app, but it is junk. I’m so disappointed.

Good Content, Lousy Customer Service. I’ve subscribed annually for years and without fail I can count on the site not recognizing me as a subscriber numerous times during the year. Refresh App Purchases? Nothing. Remove App and bring it back? Nope. When I try to call to fix it, no one at the site can or will help and I am referred in a round about way to Apple. Good luck to anyone trying to fix their access if it is ever interrupted. This frequent glitch should be an embarrassment to the owners of this app.

Packer News. Very current and interesting stories.

Will not restore my purchase. Has not been working for months. Itunes store refused to refund. No contact info who to turn to. The content is great, the support is terrible. I recommend subscribing the magazine directly

PackersNews. Getting every detail is great for out of state fans.

My Favorite. Love all the Packer content. Skip the national writers with limited knowledge and insights. These local writers are the best ones to give you your Packer fix!

Packer News. Might be a great app, but who the heck can tell since you have to pay to use it. In my world if you have to pay for app content it gets a one star eating.

App Not Working. Since upgrading the IOS on all my MAC devises, I constantly get “Error Loading Content”. Everything worked fine before. Even the support tab is not working. Any ideas.

Terrible. I’m constantly being locked out of certain articles even though I’m signed in. This app is garbage.

What a joke. I am a paid subscriber to the context provided by this app. The app does not recognize me as a subscriber, does not allow me to renew or reestablish my subscription, AND, inquired about this issue go unanswered! Unacceptable. Wish there was a zero star option.

Frustrated. I consistently have problems with the app asking me to login to access articles when I have clearly paid my annual subscription fee and my credentials are correct

Love the Packers but not the app. About every three days I need to call them and they have to unlock my account so that I can read the stories, come on guys you’re better than that please fix this because the content is 5 stars!

Too unreliable - you pay and can’t access. I have the same problem as another reviewer. I have an iPhone 7 that is up to date and haven’t been able to access reliably since about October and not at all since early December. Have had periodic issues for the entire 3 years with the App not accepting my password and now it doesn’t recognize my account at all even though I paid for the annual subscription in May 2017. I have tried contacting all possible entities about the issue and not one response. Canceled my auto renewal today.

Love this App. As an out-of-state Packers fan, I try to start each day in the App!

Doesn’t Work. Even after the latest bug fixes and a hard reset I still get the login page and once I login I get sent back to the main screen. Try to open an article and I go right back to the login screen. No error messages, nothing. Time to give up on it and cancel this subscription...

Packers Fan. I am continually told I am not a member and not allowed to use the site. There isn’t a contact for me to resolve the problem. Very frustrating as this is s great site and I am big Packers fan.

Poorly administered site. Not able to access content. This site continues to be non functional. It’s pretty clear Ganette developed it but doesn’t spend any money or time administering it. They do know however how to charge for it through the App Store. Just don’t expect to be able to actually access the content however.

Inject this straight into my veins. This site has great content and in-depth analysis — I just wish they were a little more positive after some wins instead of always picking out some negatives.

Must for packer fans. Spoon, Pete, and Wood are absolutely the best at providing great and accurate reporting on the best and longest tenured football team in the history of the NFL.

Worth the $. Videos are great but freeze a lot.

No longer works after OS 11. I subscribed and really enjoyed it. Since the OS 11 update, however, it crashes every time I open it.

Rip off..... I have paid for this and can not use it! NO ONE at here will help me or answer why I can’t get on . They said I never paid, BUT, they got my money.

I’m an iTunes subscriber and I’m Unable to view content. The restore iTunes purchase button does nothing. When I hit subscribe it says I already have a subscription but I can’t view the content. USA support was not helpful and I’m still waiting for reply.

Worst Customer Service Ever. So I noticed a charge showing up on Apple for this site about 4 months ago. I was able to login but Not able to get into the paid content area. Sent a request 2 months ago to find out why. They said my account was inactive. I sent another email telling them I was getting charged through Apple. They told me to call Customer Service. This customer service rep didn’t even know which newspaper this site belongs to. She told me that someone above her pay grade would call me back. Crickets. I emailed them again. This time they told me to send hard copies to a PO Box. Never heard from them so I emailed again. This time they said send hard copies to a different address. Fugeddaboutit!

Best Packer app. Finally updated to allow sharing to other apps. Was the only negative before.

It will cost you over $45/year / don't bother. It's not worth it. The app is free but to actually see any of the content you have to pony up $47 annually. If it's worth it to you, great. It won't be to most people. Especially given that you can easily access all this via a browser for free. And if you are half smart you can bypass the "limited" looks they try to use. Save your time and skip this thing.

Re enter my password, AGAIN?. Fine app if you like to enter your password for nearly every article you'd like to read. FRUSTRATING FAIL!

Can't sign in. Even with a recent update I still can't sign in.

Unbiased for the biased. 16 and 0 or 0 and 16, doesn't matter. We all know that the Packers is the best team out of any, all and every other sports franchise in the world! But that doesn't mean we want the watered down fluff news that the NFL Network or ESPN brings us. For that kind of honest and in depth reporting, I've only found that her with this app!

This worked initially. Now just loops back to login. Very disappointed to have spent $47.99 for an entire year and haven’t been able to read the articles because it continues to loop me back to the login screen.

App crashes after updating to ios14. I’m assuming the devs are aware of this. Hope it gets fixed. It’s football season and I miss the MJS great coverage of the packers.

Best Packers news source around. The benefit of the USA Today buying all of the Wisconsin papers is that we now have easy access to all the best Packers news in one convenient place. Plus I like the hire of Aaron Nagler.

Great articles, vids, photos and more!. This is a great addition to the team app I use. Your writers are fantastic. You write so much more informative articles. You ask the players great questions in a way that their responses are more forthcoming. It's clear they trust you to be fair. Also you run a great Facebook page and I enjoy the Facebook live eps with Aaron N. I'm a new fan to football and have picked the packers as my team. You've helped me a great deal during this learning process. Thank you!

Don’t Bother. What a waste of time. Aside from why do I need to download an app for a news site that’s an exact duplicate of the web version? But apparently you’ll need a subscription to the newspaper to access any of the articles. I downloaded it as I couldn’t view the postgame chat. When I opened it up, no only would it not allow me to read the chat with out logging in, but none of the other articles let me open without a login. On the mobile website version however, I could still read any of the articles (aside from chats) regardless of logins. Of course you’re limited to the mobile web version to 5 views a month, but that’s better than this useless app. Unless you have a subscription, don’t bother. Head over to ESPN where 1/4 of the staff that made Packers News great back when will give it to you for free.
