So I was on my Nintendo and then I wanted to play a fun game then I saw clue I started a multiplayer game and it led me to this I think you should get this love the music no glitches and no errors very low price and EVRY ONE HERE THAT WROTE A REVIEW IT WAS NOT TRASH NO UPDATES NEDDED AND IT TOOK 24 SECONDS TO DOWNLOAD (; .

App does NOT connect with game.. After countless tries and redownloading and other basic fixes, it is unable to connect to the game. Developers need to respond to these complaints and fix them. Why should we pay for the game if it won’t work?!

Bad Reviews are Confused. I think anyone who put a negative review on this game is just confused on how to operate the app. Literally works perfectly and syncs just fine.

Connection issues. Downloaded the game on our switch to play, and the companion app won’t sync to play locally. What’s worse is we can’t even start a game without the app syncing, so we couldn’t even use our own pen and paper have the game on screen.

Very small print, app needs an update. Hard to read the very small print on the app. Also, the main game updated and now the companion app is out of date with no update available.

Does not work, stay away!. Don't buy this or any other Hasbro products. Games Does not exist, waste of money!

Doesn’t connect. App doesn’t work like it states. Keeps saying game does not exist when attempting to link to our Nintendo switch game. Very disappointing, but seems like everyone else is having the same issues. You’d think with so many similar issues they’d fix it.

Trash. There’s no point in buying the game, you’re better off with the mobile version. Intro song is decent but the rest of the game play music is just dead and dry. There are trashy graphics and hardly any movement. Overall it was a waste of snack money.

Version 1.0.11 broke the game. Do not buy Cluedo at least for now!! The Companion app will not let you link. It says “room doesn’t exist.” The QA team should be questioning why they released this update.

sad guy 64. i hate this, fix your game it’s all i every wanted to play i payed money for this and nobody seems to want to fix it. Don’t tell me to send a email too because people have gotten that for months and no fix. Fix your game or i’ll cry i hate you :(

Unplayable. I just purchased this game yesterday, with the add-on boards. My granddaughter and I loaded the Companion App on our phones and her phone keeps freezing on her turn when editing her character or making a suggestion. She then keeps getting disconnected and replaced with an AI. This is making the game unplayable for us. It is otherwise potentially a fun family game. Are there any dates planned to fix this game app??

It’s trash. It is trash! Listen to my warning, my husband and I bought the game on our Nintendo and wanted to play together. It will not connect to the clue companion app, it keeps saying “this game does not exist” we purchased the whole game even bought it on my phone and still nothing! It’s not worth the buy, at this point go to the store and buy the actual board game. I have never been so disappointed in a game before.

Do not Install/Purchase. The game simply does not work, it does not work weather you install it on pc/switch etc…. waste of money waste of time. Everytime we have tried to make a local lobby on the Nintendo Switch, using the companion app which you have to use and cannot ever find the lobby and states the game cannot be found. This game and software was put together by a 40 year old man living in his moms basement and does not work DO NOT PURCHASE/INSTALL

Needs Update Immediately. You can’t see what room or who is asking questions. You can only see the continue button. Please fix it back immediately. So we can see who is in what room without looking at the tv .

App performed perfectly with Nintendo. Was initially reluctant because I saw these reviews, but had a great experience with this app for family game night with the Nintendo switch. No issues whatsoever and am very happy with the performance!

Actually works?. If you own the Cluedo game for Xbox, download this. Work just fine. Good job devs.

Very disappointing because I bought clue to play with my friends and now we can’t play the game together. We all connected to WiFi and still did not work. If I could give no stars, I would.

“This game does not exist”. It appears the app no longer works for apple products. If this is not fixed I would hope a refund is issued.

Update. After not being able to use the app I gave it one star but now the app has been working well and my family and are having a blast. Thank you to the development team. Definitely worth it once it started working.

Garbage!!. This app is entirely useless. It says “game does not exist” every time you try to connect to the game lobby. This is false advertisement. Hasbro should be ashamed of themselves to advertise a game as being able to play with up to 6 people locally and have it not work!

What happened!??. App was working just fine but as soon as the console got an update, the app said it needed to be updated but then it just stopped working. Please fix this asap

Issue was Fixed!. The developer responded to my review with the proper fix. The response time was good too! Below was my initial review: “It never acknowledges any of the games. Constantly responds with, “this game does not exist”.”

App doesn’t fully link to the game!. I read the comments before downloading the app. To no surprise the app doesn’t work just as described on previous reviews. Seems as if the app isn’t fully linking with the game. By that I mean me and my wife linked with it and it showed no one had linked on the game, then when she exited the game it kicked both of us out in the app and said host left the game. Maybe this insight can’t assist in fixing this bug. This feature would be very nice to have. Please fix this so I can play with friends and family on game night.

Doesn’t work at all- 0 stars. I bought Clue on sale for the Switch 2 today, excited to do local play with my family, and it doesn’t work at all. Every single code just gets an “invalid” message on the app, no one can join a game. It’s absolutely useless. Writing Nintendo to hopefully get a refund for the game as well since the multiplayer function is why I bought the game.

I have no idea how to fix this and the same problem occurs when we try online play. We were excited to play the game and now we can’t because the app just won’t work or link to the game. “This game does not exist”. We tried on multiple devices. Every time we enter the game code, we receive the error “This game does not exist.” We’re running the latest version of Cluedo (2024) on all devices. Tried closing everything, restarted, generated new codes. Same error.

Doesn’t work!. We love this game! Bought it a while ago on our Nintendo switch. We use to play it all the time on family game nights. Now, for some reason it won’t work. You log in and it gives you a game code. We enter it and it just says “game not found”. Don’t work for Switch game. Tried playing the local player game on the switch which required everyone to download this app to play, yet when we try to input the code as displayed on the tv it says no game found even after multiple restarts.

Can’t play suddenly. We have used this app previously multiple times without issues. However the most recent time we tried to play, the app kept telling us that the game code didn’t exist. We have the most up to date version of both the Nintendo switch game, and the companion app. There’s very few games my in laws can play, and now we have lost a family favorite.

Game is a scam don’t get it. It won’t let you play multiplayer it seems like it is just a quick cash grab and it is like they don’t even care about the well being of the people playing them and as I was looking at the other clue game they where all buy the same trashy studio. In addition to the trashiness it doesn’t tell you that you need to download an app and when you insert the game code it says game doesn’t exist and it just sucks don’t buy it.

IT WORKS FINALLY 1/16/26. They said they updated it so tried again and it’s working, played 2 games perfectly. Was disappointing it wasn’t working at first but we’re good now!

Update to the Game May have Fixed the Error. We purchased this game and no one can join for a local game. Everyone downloaded the app and we all entered the code and it keeps saying “this game does not exist” we’ve tried everything. Such a waste of time and money. Update: the developer has responded that the game has been updated. The next time my friends and I get together we’ll test it out.

Does Not Work for Entering In Game Code—Cannot Play Multiplayer in same Household. I bought this game for the Nintendo Switch to play with my boyfriend.
