Shapez - Factory Game Comments & Reviews 2026

Great game but some improvements. I love this game on pc and am excited for Shapez 2 and also was excited for this app. I think it’s pretty great overall but I wish it was more compatible with an Apple Pencil. I just think the game would run much better if I could use my pencil to make paths and move the screen seamlessly. Hopefully in the future they can update it to work better!

A good mobile port of this game. (Note for devs: The multi-place tool does not work on belts. It closes the tool after you press the check mark, even if it was locked.) This game looks and controls very well on mobile. It's a bit slow in the beginning, because accessing the deleting tool or placing things is slower, but it is just as good as the full game. I previously complained about needing to pay for it again and not being able to place multiple, but asking $5 for the mobile port after putting so much work into it is more than reasonable, and I found the tool to place multiple of the same building.

Amazing game, but one thing.. This game is nothing short of awesome. Had me hooked since day one, and is worth every penny. The one thing I’m frustrated by is very little, but still effects my designs. Tunnel delay. When shapes go through tunnels, they get slowed down ever so slightly and it drives me crazy. Hopefully there is something you can do about it? Again, great game, no worries.

Worth it. This game is amazing, and the mobile port is better than expected. $4.99 is well worth it for the full version. Quick question though, do you plan on making the Puzzle DLC on mobile too? If you do make the Puzzle DLC, will you add more non-community generated puzzles? I understand that this game is not your main priority but it would be pretty cool. 5 stars regardless.

Great. I haven’t had much time to play the mobile version, but I’ve played the pc version, and it’s one of my top 10 favorites. However I was wondering if there were plans to sync progress with epic games or steam so you could transfer your saves from pc to mobile.

Fantastic game, amazing soundtrack.. Game runs great (have not made it super far and had many items yet) and the controls are quite intuitive. This is a great, simple (very simple, in a good way) factory game. Very easy to quickly pick up complete an objective or two and put down and come back to, although you’ll probably spend more than a little bit of time each session as it is very easy to get lost in trying to optimize belts and get that next objective completed. And the soundtrack! Wow what a soundtrack! Easily among my top 5 game soundtracks, it fits so perfectly. Absolutely love it. I am double dipping by having the game on my phone as well it is that good. I bought the complete game and soundtrack on Steam as well. For $5, it’s an easy yes to recommend. One feature I think would be awesome to add, for deleting long runs of belts is being able to drag to highlight and or tap in stead of needing to tap each section of belt. Maybe the option to switch between drag to select/tap to select, and then drag to highlight a square area to remove, add a toggle to switch between the two delete options.

Game stopped loading on my ipad. The minute I saw this game was on the app store, I jumped on it because I was addicted to the desktop version. There were some glitches (like the sorters changing size or the game not recognizing I switched to a new tool) but not enough to make the game inoperable. But I made it to level 13 and turned the game off for a little bit. I came back and I can’t re-enter my save, the loading circle just spins endlessly :(

great game, weak port. shapez is a fantastic game, but this port leaves a lot to be desired. my save apparently got corrupted after idk how many hours in. at a certain point the game would chew through my battery at like 2% per minute. the interface is buggy — you can click on pinned shapes and map pins even if they aren’t displayed, sometimes you’ll place things and they don’t actually get placed even though it looks like they do, copy/paste is a bear (scrolling/navigating in general) and once in a while a paste will bug out and you won’t be able to paste without restarting the game. restarting the game takes about five minutes, especially once your factory gets bigger. sometimes splitters don’t connect to tunnels; sometimes they do, but only one tunnel at a time. about 50% of the time when you switch apps, the game will need to reload, which is a huge hassle if you’re trying to copy a balancer. that said, it’s hard to find good games on the app store, especially in this genre. it’s not so bad that i won’t start a new save, but it feels like the port was not tested enough. it’s still a good time sink, but the long loading time makes it impossible to just pick up and throw down some conveyors in between life. i don’t necessarily regret the $5 purchase, but i probably wouldn’t spend it knowing what i know now. iphone 12, latest ios.

Great game but a few bugs. Love the game played it on pc and was excited when I saw it on here! It is great but there are a few annoying things such as trying to layout belts can be hard to get just one belt to make a tight turn and not go the wrong direction. The other thing is when you use tunnels even tho they are the same speed as the belts they will slow down the capacity of the belts which can make It tricky to keep efficiency without having any belts overlap. Love the game tho!

Best of it’s Genre. If you’re a fan of procedural “factory layout sim” genre games… games like Satisfactory, Factorio, or even Minecraft to an extent, (and you have a PC) then you’ve probably already played Shapes or at very least heard of it. Shapes is the purest, most distilled version of this type of game, and executed exceptionally well. I have lost many hours with the PC version, and have been looking forward to enjoying this iOS version. I’d you’re at all into logic, process or organizational styles of games, you will definitely enjoy Shapes. Very satisfying.

Plans to improve framerate?. I was super excited to see this game come to mobile considering how successful it has been on other platforms. However, I was disappointed to see the game locked at 30 fps. Compared to the 120 hz refresh rate of iPhones, this app’s framerate is immediately noticeable. That being said, I understand this iteration is early in development and more changes are in the works. Are there any plans to address this framerate in the near future, or is this a low-priority concern?

Great fun, but requires internet connection for some reason. Also many weird mechanics.. Really unfortunate that the full game is locked behind an in-game purchase that requires internet connection to verify each time you play instead of a paid app. If it wasn’t for this, the game would be completely playable offline. I travel a lot, and just learned I can no longer play because of this. Also has a lot of weird nuances with the mechanics such as a balancer not being able to go directly into two tunnels without something in-between them. And ironically it seems the balancers prefer one side more to the other. Still fun to make some spaghetti though!

Almost Perfect Mobile Port. I absolutely love playing Shapez on PC so was delighted to see it on the App Store. My hundreds of hours clocked in Steam was enough to buy the upgrade right away. Great value! No cross save between Steam and iOS is fine, not a huge surprise. I am having a lot of fun starting over with the tweaked touch controls. My only complaint is that there is no cross progression between iOS devices. Not being able to continue my iPhone factory on iPad is a bummer.

So good, but needs fix.. I want to give this app 5 stars becuse I can’t put it down. The problem is that it is extremely annoying when I close the game, come back, and my progress has been lost. The storage tool often loses objects I’ve spent a lot of time building that disappear when I return to the game the next day. Lots of bugs that need work. I completed level 26 then found I was back at level 20 for some reason. (?) The cut/copy tools sometimes won’t allow me to move what has been selected, or copies objects but after pasting, the conveyors move in little circles or seem to be blocked and need to be redrawn. This app would be truly wonderful if these bugs were fixed.

Blueprints are broken. This game is a fun and addicting concept, building off of Factorio, Mindustry, and Builderment. However using blueprints is extremely buggy: belts get really messed up if you rotate, and sometimes you can’t stamp at all. You have to force-quit the app and endure the long boot time again. Sometimes selections get stuck and won’t go away. I would think they’d have these kind of issues worked out when they are at the stage of charging money for the game. Other than that it is a fun and addicting game.

Yawn. Mildly interesting concept, but oh my gosh…….talk about grind. You have to wait while your factories S L O W L Y produce the gadgets while the number of gadgets required to fulfill the level objective grows exponentially! I went from, “huh, this is crazy, why should I have to watch while my layout makes 30 more of these?” To “ What? I have to make 70?” To “140?” To “ Forget it! I’m not waiting while this produces 360 of the same things!” (And that was by level 6 - how many do they expect you to make on level 90?). Yes, I know you could lay out several production lines to produce more of the same thing, and if that’s what you call fun, this game might be for you. For me, once I’ve solved the puzzle, I am not going to do it 10 times over simply so I can still wait the amount of time it takes to make the 30 on the first level. No Thanks, deleted.

Great Game. I have been playing this game for a few months now and have been enjoying it. I am just hoping that the wires layer gets added to the mobile version soon as I just beat level 20 today and was hoping to have fun with the challenge of building my first MAM

Most creative factory-style game I've ever seen. Every factory piece is free to place once unlocked. You never need to worry about running out of funds for more machines or conveyor belts, so you can focus on optimizing your output. There's no limit to how shapes can be assembled (unlike other games where only certain blueprints can be made). I don't know if I would exactly call this a sandbox, but it feels almost as freeing, with just enough goals and limitations (the limiting factors being how fast different machines run and how far away some resources are) to keep it engaging.

A very good phone game.. I loved the pc version, and I’m having a lot of fun playing through again on mobile. It’s a really good fit for a phone game, you can always kill time by expanding/optimizing some process and it’s pretty easy to parse what’s going on when you put it down in the middle of something and come back later. My one complaint is that the ui is a little fiddly. It’s really effortless to do complex tasks on the pc version, and just a bit fussy to do on the touchscreen- especially running long conveyors. I don’t know if I can really fault the game for it though, it’s naturally a more limiting interface and it’s certain perfectly usable. All in all, I’m happy to see this game on mobile and it’s definitely worth the asking price.

Can’t get into it due to choppy performance.. These Unity games are not optimized for iOS, every time I use the controls I just wish I was playing on a pc for which this was clearly optimized. The refresh rate feels like it’s either capped or forced by low frame rate to 20 hz. I know it’s easy to develop with Unity, but it’s not just plug and play, the developers need to work on real optimization before it delivers a similar experience. While this is exactly the type of game I would sink some good time into, it’s pretty out of the question buying the full version for me, knowing that I would just be disappointed in the choppiness that occurs even without any significant load.

Wonky controls. I played this game on browser and I liked it so when I saw it on iOS I was quick to download it. I’m not sure what the deal is but the controls are just beyond frustrating to use. It makes no sense to not be able to click on the place where I want the block to go and it doesn’t go there. I have to drag it or something? I know it’s a good game and never had issues with the controls on browser, but this is just not intuitive.

Great game - but. Games awesome if you want to scratch that factory automation itch at work or on the go or whatever - but I have a request. I’m not sure why, maybe it has to be this way, but the game seems to run at like 20fps (might be 30) at all times. This is on 16 pro max - scrolling through menus, panning camera, everything is affected and it honestly gives me a bit of a headache, especially when the rest of the phone is 120hz. Please, if it’s possible and it was just an oversight, please increase the frame rate to at least 60! I beg! Edit: bruh its not that my Factory is too big, this is from the very first time opening the Game period. Yall set a Frame Limit on the Game of 20-30fps for unknown to me reasons. The Main Menu, everything is 20-30fps.

Game crashed and erased the factory. I had really been enjoying this game despite the occasional bugs I was encountering (the rotators would sometimes turn a half piece into a full piece instead of rotating). However, today I opened up the game and it crashed and then when I was finally able to get the app to open it had erased my entire factory. All of my achievements and levels stayed but all of the time I had put into making my factory was lost. Very disappointed but hopefully the developers can fix the problems because the app was really fun when it worked.

Simple and devilishly clever. That sounds counterintuitive but tbh is game is a great example of what you can do with a beautifully simple idea. It’s a really interesting game and you’ve got freedom to figure out your factory as you want. It’s 100% strategy and planning and fixing where you went wrong. It’s a really great phone game. The controls can be a bit clunky at first but you get used to them. That’s really my only criticism. Well worth the $5, or however much it was.

Unfortunate. Game is enjoyable, but becomes unplayable the father you go. The lag makes it nearly impossible to play. This game also heats my phone and drains the battery faster than anything I have ever experienced. If it were free to access this game, I would just delete it. But this game requires payment to access the full game. I will be looking into refunding due to the poor performance preventing access to later levels.

Great Game - But glitching. Love the game and want to play it as much as possible. But what's keeping this a 5 star review is that the game keeps glitching out on me around Level 14. I'll have pieces I try to delete that are visually still on scree. Seems to happen most with the color extraction. Eventually a glitch will happen that corrupts that save game and I can't get back in if I close out. Not sure if it's the iPhone 12 or iOS 17? But it's frustrating having to restart at the very beginning every time.

Fun. I’ve been playing this game since the free demo when my computer broke I was devastated that all my progress was lost when I found out there was a mobile version I was extremely excited to play shapez again. After a while I beat the first few levels and then the game was over. I was disappointed that unlike the demo after you finished the upgrades to the hub the game ended and locked you out of your save file. As I know the game and love it it was an easy purchase but new players such as myself to the mobile version will probably delete it. It would be great if you (the developers) could allow the factory to continue the factory without any further upgrades allowing the player to explore the game further while keeping the player behind a pay wall and further inclining the player to pay for the upgrade

Fun until it isn’t. The game play itself is challenging, addictive, and fun. But it is extremely, and fatally, buggy. Bad enough that you have to destroy and then rebuild tunnels to restore flow after random process flow failures; worse that you have to close and reopen the game frequently to continue play; worst is having saved file corrupted (happens during Edit mode), so even after a full app restart the corruption reappears and makes continuation impossible. I’ve given up waiting for an update to resolve this … don’t waste your money unless you’re seeking intense frustration. If it ever were to work reliably I would give it 5 stars, but as it is now 2 stars is generous.

Extremely clunky controls - seems unfinished. I love Shapez but this is missing a ton of QOL features that make it not fun to play. I would definitely wait for it to be improved some more, and I’m disappointed I paid for the full version. - Laggy on iPhone 14 Pro Max, needed to limit the FPS to 30 manually - Can’t have more than 1 conveyor belt feed to a different belt seemingly - Can’t place more than 1 machine at a time, lock mode doesn’t let you place and confirm multiple machines at a time - Can’t “draw” items on screen in place mode All of these things make building and transporting more tedious as I find myself fighting the UI more than anything. This game feels unfinished, I wish it had more time before it came out. In the meantime I would recommend playing other similar games better suited for mobile.

Blueprints broken. Since you can’t access blueprints until after you pay, here is your fair warning: unlike in the PC version where you can paste a blueprint at any location, in the mobile version you have to copy & drag. This might be workable except that zooming out cancels the drag. So copying a long distance is a pain and basically unusable. Would not have purchased if I knew this since blueprints are a key feature. The game is just tedious without usable blueprints.

Great idea, but…. When I downloaded this game I instantly realized that it was very laggy, about 20fps, on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I somewhat got used to it. Second, it is terribly annoying when I am panning in build mode, as it automatically pans to my first built node after only like a second, making it pretty difficult to move around for me. Third, I had no option to review how to mix colors when I got to stage 9. I accidentally instantly exited out of the tutorial screen when reaching stage 9. It would be nice if I could go back and see it. Finally, and most annoyingly, I can’t load back into my game. The menu screen only has two options: Continue, and tutorial. When I tap continue, it does nothing. There are no saved games under these two buttons. I would have, frustratingly, started a new game, but I see no option to. I’m not sure if some of these problems are only native to me because there are so many positive reviews and ratings. For a $7 mobile game I shouldn’t be having this many complications. $7 wasted unless this is fixed

Great concept with too many game breaking bugs. Love the game at its core, but I cannot look past the horrible bugs. My first world (lvl14) got corrupted so I had to start all over, probably due to the game shutting down in the background with a proper save. Every time you copy paste factories that have tight conveyors, they always get mixed up on which way to go or even if they should be pasted at all. This is fine, just means I have to do more work. Now I’m on lvl 18 and it’s asking for a 3 layer object. I stack the first two layers without any issue, but when I go to stack the next layer on top, it puts it on the bottom. I thought I made a mistake and switched up the conveyors. Same shape. So, apparently for this, it doesn’t matter what orientation or inputs I use, I cannot get the mission item. Restarting the app did not fix this. Honestly, if you love factory games, you’ll like this one, but you’ll get mad when it decides to break down on you.

Very fun but some annoying bugs. The game is so much fun and is a very good adaptation of a factory game for mobile devices. There are a couple of very annoying bugs though. 1. When copy pasting blueprints, orientation of belts is not always preserved, and sometimes it is actually impossible to get belts to split the way that you would like without building the components in a specific order. 2. Chainable extractors unlock but then you can’t use them. 3. Once you purchase the full game, you can’t play offline as it thinks that you haven’t unlocked it. This is a perfect game to play on an airplane except for this.

Fun with glitches. This is one of my favorite games, but their are some glitches. The one that’s been annoying me the most is a glitch with the stackers. This glitch over stacks some of my Shapes. For example if I’m using one stacker I sometimes end up with a shape with 2-4 layers, if I reload the game it sometimes fixes it, if this could get fixed it would be amazing. Thank you for reading

WOW a amazing game. I got recommended this game by a friend, and thanks they did. When I recommended the game, I only had the free version, and it was so good I got the full game because of how great it is. This game needs strategy and I have a lot of that, so this game is great for challenging my brain. And this game has several possibilities of shapes you can make, so that also challenges my creativity. Thanks Shapez for being a great game with no bugs I have encountered so far.

Love the Game. This game is a great game for anyone who loves the factory incremental type games but simplistic and at the same time complex!! The issues I have are as follows. 1. Why can I not zoom out all the way to see the shapes near edge of map that is insane that it’s an issue. Just seems like easy fix. 2. Why can I not and maybe it’s me but copy and paste any work done to make projects easy that to just redo everything all over again. I have played Shapez 2 on PC and the ability to copy and paste is important saves time which this game takes a lot of to just do simple things. Other than these it’s an amazing, challenging and very awesome game premise. Hope these issues get fixed but other than they keep up the good work love to see what comes next!

LOVE this game, but Constantly Crashing. I absolutely LOVE this game. There is something so relaxing and addictive about this game. However, it crashes a lot in the upper levels. By around level 20 it becomes basically unplayable. I’ve played the computer version of this game and it is so much better. I’m hoping the iPad version will get better over time.

Fantastic game dragged down by bad DRM. I’ve poured a lot of hours into this game already and plan to do more. It does an excellent job of gradually introducing new complexity and challenges, and before you know it you have a behemoth of an operation with a variety of new projects and reworks to do it. My main gripe with this game is how they’ve implemented the in-app purchase of the full game. It is well worth the price, but it does not appear to save locally the fact that you’ve purchased the game. When I lose access to the internet (something that happens often when traveling with my iPad), the game will forget that I’ve purchased it and gate me from continuing my save, even though I’m well beyond the level 7 free trial gate. Until this issue is fixed, my review will stand at a 3/5 instead of a 5/5.

Amazing game, small bug. Amazing game, you can lose yourself for hours coming up with new designs. I noticed when I build a compact blueprint and copy it, the conveyor belt connection will often shift to something different than the original connection. Not sure if anyone else noticed but kind of annoying.

Great game if you know what to do. Love this game, known it for a long time and was thrilled that they came out with a mobile version. Was so confused on the later levels and realized that most people may need a tutorial to get past level 16-21, and the game also has plenty of bugs, the most annoying of which is— the game won’t save. My auto save interval is 1 min, saves every ten. If I try to exit to the title screen 50 percent of the time it won’t save OR go to the title screen, and I have to lose 10 minutes of progress (friggin autosave) because I have to force-quit the app. Would give five stars if there weren’t really annoying bugs.

Great game but terrible port. Requires internet to play or else you get put back on the free trial. Hope you’re not planning on playing this on a flight. Also, blueprints are made entirely useless because of obtuse design decisions. If you dare zoom out while copying something, you exit the copy paste interface. Also to move the map while in the copy paste interface, you need to use two fingers, which is simultaneously the zoom gesture. You better believe you will be accidentally zooming out too far while attempting to get to where you want to place your design. You can’t jump pinned areas of the map while pasting blueprints either. There’s tons of other small frustrations with the bizarre and ill thought out design decisions, but these two alone are enough for me to never touch this mobile port ever again. Just stick to the PC version. Heck, maybe the web version if you must play on mobile.

Relaxing Factory Builder. Loving Mindustry and Factorio, but wish there was more time to focus on the building, and less combat pressure? Then this game is for you! Puzzle your way through increasingly complex production set-ups, unlock new automation parts, upgrade existing assets through delivery, and try to set up a factory that’s reconfigurable to handle whatever the next ask is. This game has all of the factory building fun without any of the combat pressure!

Creative mode?. I have played the demo many times and finally bought the full game after trying it on a friend’s pc. He had everything unlocked and I found it really entertaining to simply mess around. I think adding a creative/design mode as part of the full game package or maybe as part of the demo would add a lot to the already very versatile gameplay.

Won’t load (IPhone SE) [update {2}]. I have always loved this game, always interesting,(a bit grindy but still fun) and I got a phone recently and decided why not get shapez on mobile? Downloaded it, (I have restrictions on my phone, (In-app purchases are not allowed) but the in app purchases are not allowed screen pops up twice, I say ok to both of them but then when those are gone, I wait 5 minutes, but it still doesn’t load… Sorry for the one star review, I think the game is great, I just can’t play it! Sorry for the bad review earlier, it works fine now idk why :/ Wish the full version costed less if not any money

Amazing game! Thanks for bringing it to mobile!. Great game and is very deep for a mobile game. Can’t wait to get my hands on Shapez 2! This game is a great “where did the last hour go” type of game. My one wish is the controls were a little more iPad friendly. One easy addition would be an Undo button. For when you are designing and make a small mistake. Maybe I haven’t unlocked it yet but that seems pretty boiler plate as a feature. Either way it’s a creature comfort and not a must have for me. Thank you again!

Not a good port. Loved the steam version but this mobile port definitely needs a complete rework on controls. One example is when something is selected in edit mode a 2nd tap should rotate. Find someone who hasn’t played the game and ask them to play the game without the tutorial for the very first time and see how they gesture to play, THATS what the controls need to be. Pinch zoom is good but like 60% of the other controls aren’t intuitive.

Blueprint utilization poor. This game would be a 5 if not for how blueprints work, or rather don’t work. When you copy a blueprint, if you then zoom out to go to a different part of the factory, you lose the print. Not a problem for a small factory, but this game seems to pride itself on the hugeness of the map, so copying a blueprint in one location and then going to the farther reaches of the factory, and losing the print, completely breaks the game fore. Apparently this isn’t a bug, but is intended?!?

Fun, but. This is a very fun game I enjoy the concept, it just slightly annoys me that I can that continue to mess around with my factory in the version. I am promoted to buy the full version and while I try to pre me no thanks, it doesn’t let me. Also if this game could function well in mobile, it would be amazing if the full version could be on Xbox. Otherwise, this game is great.

Good, but buggy and poorly optimized.. Shapezio was one of my favorite games during the pandemic and although I hadn’t played it for a while, I was excited to see it in the App Store. I immediately purchased the game and started playing. After a few days of playing, I can say It is a pretty decent adaptation of the original PC game. However, I’ve noticed a few bugs such as the tunnels slowing down shapes, and deleting belts leaves behind the objects floating in mid air sometimes. This isn’t that big of an issue, but the optimization is. This game became really laggy during the last few levels and because of that, the production of shapes slowed it down to a crawl. I’m hoping that these problems will be fixed in the future also I can properly experience the game.

Can’t play offline. I bought this game upon reaching the free level cap because I am a huge factorio fan. I wanted a game I could sink my teeth into when I have nothing better to do, ie. traveling. Today when I was at cruising altitude with no internet connection, I launched the game and the main menu appeared like I hadn’t purchased the game already and prompted me to buy the full version. I try to launch my previous save that is currently on level 11 and the game prompts me to either purchase the game, do it later, or say no and exit. So now I’m stuck on a 5 hour flight and I can’t play my factory crack game that would make the time zip by. Also, on top of that, whenever I tap hit “unlock full game” my audio glitches out for a few seconds and the app completely crashes, which I’m assuming is because I’m offline. Please fix this offline issue, I bought this game specifically for the offline play and there’s no need to verify that I bought the game multiple times or be online at all during the game. It’s got me thinking about refunding it since I won’t be able to play it while traveling.

Bad implementation. The inter face was not done well and you can’t even connect to your steam account to get the full game. You have to pay separately. You’re better not off getting it on pc

When I can’t play Satisfactory….. When I need to scratch that automation itch and I’m not able to play Satisfactory, this game is my new go to. I could sing it half a star for small UI text wven on the larger setting, but I’ll just put my glasses on instead. The UX with selecting your tool and using it could be a bit tighter, but this is a very good app

Good. Good game I have a question. What coding language did u use?

Disappointed. I bought this for $10 because I love playing this on pc but found the iOS port is quite broken. I can’t place even a single extractor. Looking forward to when it’s fixed but upset because I have a long flight tomorrow and was looking forward to playing it :( Update: Upon figuring out the interface it became actually playable. But for the amount of time this has been out there are issues that should have been resolved and it’s still not as clean an experience as on pc. -A tutorial on how to use the building mechanics. -An explanation on what the lock/unlock button does (I can’t figure that out). -Apple pen support. -fixed edge cases (I was able to be in pen mode and build mode at the same time, I think after levelling up or something)

Flawless. The App Store needed this

Love!!!. This is the best game ever made! so many shapes in all colors and shapes and sizes belts, distributors, mergers, painters, name a machine and it’s likely in the game. Best. Game. In. The. World. Period. Heck, you could even make a rocket!

Love that this is iPad but controls feel a lil awkward. I love that this is now available on iPad but the controls seem kinda awkward. I feel like there’s too many prompts to complete even a simple conveyor belt, perhaps I’m use to playing it on PC with a mouse and keyboard ? I will probably persist with it and hopefully the controls and interface will get more refined and polished in the future.

Simple yet Complex.. This game is well designed and has a simplistic feel yet requires complex thoughts to progress. Finished the demo and didn’t hesitate to buy the full version. $7AUD for anyone wondering. At no point did this game feel too easy, and it was the perfect amount of challenging to keep me engaged. 👍

Love it. No hurry, time to think through the strategies available. Didn't hesitate to unlock the full version!

Decent Port. A decent port of the desktop version. A few bugs and controls are a little clunky, but still a great time filler.

Only a free demo. Game is “free” only as a demo until level 7. When you finish, it forces you to pay. Screen shows option for Later or No thanks but it just flashes and doesn’t actually do anything. It’s just a dead app afterwards

:(. really unfortunate game. it could be good but there are a number of mobile issues that make progression very difficult. no copying while zoomed out means it’s impossible to build a real factory. this is a huge issue!! the blueprint mechanic sometimes ‘corrupts’ the area its placed and items cant be deleted or modified. rotating blueprints sometimes breaks belt orientations. the zoom out limit is tiny, i can barely see a fraction of what id like to build.

Fun game but lots of bugs still. This game is fun, and I’ve been playing for a good few hours now but there are two bugs which really annoy me: 1. Progress doesn’t consistently save. Even when exiting the game properly, your progress doesn’t always save. I just logged in to find 3 hours of work I’d done had not saved (for the second time) and tbh now I just feel like giving up. 2. Tunnels randomly stop working until you delete and reinstall them

Really great game once you get the basics. Really enjoying the game, although the tutorial was pretty limited. My main issue is that when you start to use blueprints, if you happen to zoom out too far by mistake, you end up losing the blueprint, but you still end up paying for it with the blueprint shapes, then have to wait until you generate more. Very frustrating. Otherwise, a bit addicted.

I will buy this game. I am a kid but my dad will listen if i want this game aaaaaa looooot and i do so he’s getting me it.

Progress keeps getting deleted. Every now and then reloading the saved game will clear the whole area and you have to start building from scratch

Mid. I like the game and all but I don’t want to have to spend 10$ to be able to play the full game but other then that it’s a great game I would recommend Devs can you maybe not make it cost 10$ and instead like 5$ then I might consider it Ps I live in Canada so it’s 10$

Greatest factory game. I have 100% of achievements on pc and ill do the same on mobile, love this game, On god best game of the year

Bad port. Shapez on pc is great but the touch controls on the port are terrible and unresponsive.

Miss things. I love this game it’s relaxing I really recommend it I only put 4 star because there are tings in the pc version ta we don’t have here

Great start but needs place to report bugs. Iv found a few bugs -tier 2 conveyors not passing objects past tier 1 conveyors -some belts don’t carry items per second as labeled, namely 8/s only doing 6/s and 12/s only doing 10/s -conveyors not holding direction when copying/cutting Some improvements - blueprints disappearing after zooming out to large map - need button on main menu to report bugs I actually really like this game and definitely recommend it. I will for sure update my review when I know for sure it’s being properly supported. Great job guys, keep it up.

Fix your frame rate and offline restore purchases Jesus!!!. As stated in advising you with a report.. problem with restore purchase when testing phone on airplane mode without wifi… says I’m still in the demo version.. this update you did removed dev commands.. which had the only option to adjust this stupid frame rate to 60fps.. it’s running really choppy like 25/30 fps ridiculous. Give us the option to change the frame rate!! 2/5 stars, needs these fixes even before release!!!

THE BEST GAME. i have not stop playing game it soooo good but can umake the map go infinite and the zoom out bigger

Requires wifi. Game is great loved it on pc but it won’t recognize that you bought the full version if you don’t have internet access I bought it for a flight and it ended up being worthless otherwise fantastic game and the phone adaptation is just as great I’ll change my review when this issue is resolved

Hooked right away. Loving the game so far. Addicting gameplay. Easy to get into and start playing. The only thing I would suggest fixing is the contrast between the buttons for each item and the world map makes it hard to see. They need a contrasting border or a more contrasting colour. Great game for a great price. Love it!

Fun Game but with some superficial flaws. This is a great game with a fun amount of puzzles to figure out. Just wish that there was a way to speed up time so you’re not stuck waiting for the Hub to collect 3k worth of product

Shapez but mobile. Now i can habe no life outside of my room!!

if only I could have my factory back. the game was really good.. I played more than 20 hours in 2 days. blocked at level 20, the factories no longer worked so I closed my game and when I opened it my save had disappeared and I can no longer play. 7$ lost and my morale is zero because for once I was really having fun playing a game and it no longer works on the day of my birthday

I LOVE this game, HOWEVER…. This game is awesome! Keep up the good work. I play on both my iPhone and iPad, so the cloud save is great! EXCEPT! Twice now I have had the game load, but I guess it takes a little long to load later in the game and since it is not fully loaded, it autosaves a blank game.(?) I think it’s a timing issue. The game hangs there and doesn’t load. Then after a force quit and reload, my game is blank. My progress is there (lvl 20), but all my factories are gone. 😕 This can be expected of a brand new game and I’m sure it will be addressed in an upcoming update, but for now, I guess I will start over. Again. It is difficult to start over at such an advanced stage of the game. At least my progress is saved, so I have all the awesome unlockables, just nothing built.

Tons of Fun!. One suggestion is that the copy function stops working for me after a few times. I have lots of resources but seems like a bug that will clear if I restart the app

Having fun. The game is really fun, but the controls could be better, not super intuitive. Would be a 5-star if this was changed

Add steam link. i bought the game on steam and would love if you could somehow link your steam account to unlock the full game without paying for it on iphone and steam

Only A Few Levels. Fun game, although was done after only an hour of game play

Off to a good start. I’ve found the touch controls of this PC classic very well implemented. It’s great at scratching that Factorio itch while on the go.

Needs internet connection. The game doesn’t need internet to play, however, it needs internet to confirm purchases. I bought the full game to play on my iPad and every time I start the game without internet, it says “unlock full game” even though I have purchased the game. I have to hotspot my iPad from my phone to be able to play. Probably not a big deal for most, however it’s very annoying. Other that that issue, it’s an amazing game which I own on steam and iOS. I highly recommend.

Great game. I bought it on steam might buy it again on iPhone. Great time waster. If you like this I’d also recommend Satisfactory. Edit: I just got Shapez 2 on steam and I can’t stop playing it’s so good

Factory. I have played a few other games that are very similar, this one is one of the best. I love that I can place any number of buildings right from the start and they don’t cost anything. It allows for you to create to your hearts content but with the infinite amount of shapes and colors combinations you always feel like you are building towards something. Worth the full purchase if you like factory games. Ps-please add a blueprint library where we can save blueprints, it can be a bit of a chore copying part of your factory and trying to drag it all the way across the map

love the game!. the only problem is the controls, if i use my pen it gets buggy even with my fingers on the conveyor belt.

Great factorio-lite but buggy. Super fun and satisfying to play through, but always inevitably run into very annoying bugs that make it difficult to return. My most recent one seemingly randomizes the orientation of any placed belts, making the game essentially unplayable. Really hoping that this gets fixed as it is a great game (until it isnt).

Pretty good stuff here.. I played Builderment all the way threw a number of times… this game isn’t quite as good but looks like it has better longevity. If you haven’t tried Builderment and like this game… give it a try.

Too many bugs and not as fun. As much as I love and adore this game the mobile version is simply too buggy and not as fun as if I were to play it on my PC. It takes a lot longer to place and delete things, belts connect when I don’t want them to, and its simply easier to just use a computer. Its a waste of $4 just buy it on pc.

Not playable on 11” iPad Pro. The UI does not seem to work at all. I can’t edit anything. Just simply trying to place a belt results on a long belt randomly placed nowhere near where I wanted it and in the opposite direction I was trying to place it. Trying to select it to remove it creates a selection rectangle in a completely different position on the screen. I’ll just have to stick to using the desktop version which prevents me from using it while I’m on travel.

Overall a solid game. Rather faithful to the Steam version.. Definitely a solid puzzle/logic game, and the developers did a decent job keeping it close to the Steam version. They did remove the logic layer, making freeplay rather early, which makes since in a mobile version. There were only a few bugs that I’ve noticed, as well as inconveniences of the UI. The first that came up was the zoom. The Steam version, you needed to zoom out a lot to view large areas to look for pieces that you needed, where here, you can’t zoom out that much. This does impact the size of the factories you can build before they are too large for the screen, even on an iPad Pro. The second was when copying and pasting blueprints. There are two ways to scroll. You can either one finger drag the blueprint to the edge of the screen to scroll in that direction, which is slow to impractical if you need to paste on the far side of the map. You can also get lost if you forgot where you need to go. Sometimes I lost factories I was building because I forgot where it was, and I am not allowed to zoom out too far or I would loose the copy (this also brings us back to the zoom problem where you need to zoom out really far to find where your stuff is). The second is a two finger drag of the map, but you need to be careful. It’s very easy for iOS to think you want to zoom out, and if you zoom out too far, Shapez exits you out of the edit screen for the copy and paste. That is actually the third thing. In the Steam version, if you zoom all the way out, you can still copy and paste blueprints. That process is actually encouraged. However, in the mobile version, you can’t. You have to stay in the edit screen, which you are exited out of if you zoom out all the way. The final item is the play field size limitation. To be fair, mobile devices can’t really handle the infinite play field that the Steam version has on a desktop/laptop, which has more system resources. However, when zoomed out, you can see materials, but when you zoom in while on the edge of the map, some of those materials fall outside the screen, and you can’t scroll up to it, despite it being there when zoomed out. There is no line or UI indicator that tells me where the actual end of the map is. Such an indicator would be helpful. My recommendations for improvements would lie in those items. Beyond that, it’s a solid game, and very close to the Steam version.

Vary addictive. I love this game I’ve been playing for around 3 hours so far and it is a vary addictive loop. Build factory, upgrade factory to make it more efficient, and repeat. Absolutely an amazing and fun game loop. A must buy for getting rid of boredom

Good game but... I bought this game originally on pc, it’s an amazing game that’s very relaxing, BUT I thought my $10 purchase of the “full” game would allow me to play it here once I found out it was coming to mobile, but I cannot sign in to use my “full” game that I purchased but instead I have to spend another $5 to play the game I bought. 😕

Sigh. I really want to like this game. I play similar versions of this game on steam. Your introduction frustrated me so much that I uninstalled the game. Here’s why: I have extremely sensitive eyes. I saw a pop up that said I had completed the tutorial and that I could change the settings in the options menu. I get to the options menu to see if you had a dark mode as my eyes were KILLING me at this point with your gray on WHITE bright background. Lo and BEHOLD, you have a darkmode. I go to change it so that I can play a few levels of the game without my eyes burning. Then I see it “This feature is locked. Pay 6.99 to unlock”. What a god awful business model. I hope it burns when you pee. I hope you stub your toe. I hope your crotch becomes infested with a thousand fleas. Uninstalled. Your company is terrible.

Amazing game, small bug. Amazing game, you can lose yourself for hours coming up with new designs. I noticed when I build a compact blueprint and copy it, the conveyor belt connection will often shift to something different than the original connection. Not sure if anyone else noticed but kind of annoying.

Do not download this game. As soon I play I was playing in the famous later. He hit the game in when I went back in. It said that I had to get the full version that doesn’t make sense because it says the full version for some reason I click on it. It says I’m not allowed to so I hate it and I had to start from all scratch and played different levels, but they had to stop at the same time Like it’s supposed to just keep going. Keep going keep going no go like that because game decides to do something stupid

Buying the full game????. I liked the game until I completed a level and it slapped me with a buy full version to continue. I hate that. There are a lot of games that I like that remove the fun out of it when it shows that it is “free” when it should just be a free trial. That is literally the only thing that I dislike about the game and can be easily fixed.

FUN and kills your battery. I’ve been playing this game on my IPhone 14. It’s been a ton of fun and I’d spend hours playing the game on my couch if I could. This game also uses my phone’s full power to play. I’d recommended playing this game on an iPad or a computer.

Buggy Touch Interface on iPad. I love this game. I own it on Steam and I'm looking forward to Sapez 2. This iPad version has issues with the touch Interface. It never seems to place the object on correct square on the grid. Makes me feel like my iPad has a recalcitrant resistive touch screen that needs to be recalibrated. When I touch on any particular grid location the result shows up on a square the is far from my intend target. This game is unplayable until that is fixed.

Great game. This is one of my favorite games, but when I got to level 14 where I had to get 8 a second of one shape, it wouldn’t let me progress even though the hub said I had 8 a second going into it. Would be nice to keep playing, but sadly I can’t. Until it is fixed, it is a 4 out of 5.

How can this be so bad?. Wow. This is. Just. Wow. This is so bad. I really enjoyed this game on PC. But this port is exceptionally bad. Probably the worst mobile experience I have ever seen. I don’t think I have ever written a review here since having the App Store for fifteen years. I was really excited to see a mobile version of this but this is literally unplayable. The UI make zero sense and half of the time, the controls I did figure out don’t even work. Go back to the drawing board and redo this with the care that such a great game deserves.

Amazing concept, still some work to do. Really enjoying the game so far, controls feel a bit clunky to me though. I wish you could move components instead of having to delete and replace every time

Why is the auto save worthless?. This is a fun game and I enjoy playing it. But when it crashes - yes it crashes - I lose hours of creativity because the auto save is useless and doesn’t actually save the game every two minutes like I have instructed it to. Why!!!!!!!

Great mobile factory game. After playing other factory games like Factorio and Satisfactory, this is a great mobile alternative. Only complaint is the app often forgets I paid for the full version and I have to restore purchases a lot, hoping that will be fixed.

I love this game so much but…. I love this game so much however after spending hours building and passing level 15 , the game froze and deleted everything I had after level 15 and brought me down to level 14. It really hurts after spending hours having the perfect build. Mind you, I paid the $6.99 for the full game. You guys need to fix this bug and please give me my level back or give me my money back….

100% recommended… when they fix the saves.. Bought the game, made it to level 14, then my save corrupted? Amazing concept that was executed perfectly. Only problem is the world saves will randomly not load… ever again. On top of other small bugs. Periodically updated so hopefully it’ll be fixed soon. Still gonna continue playing and it’s definitely worth trying the demo.

A Great game but a sad port. It plays well until you get to higher levels. Then the issues appear. It is a small map. The blueprints are not save-able, not even a buffer. It is copy and paste immediately or try to scroll blindly to your spot. There are other things lacking.

Great Game. I have been playing this game for a few months now and have been enjoying it. I am just hoping that the wires layer gets added to the mobile version soon as I just beat level 20 today and was hoping to have fun with the challenge of building my first MAM

I love it, but here’s the reason why it’s not five stars. Everything’s perfect about it, but one bug when I tried to place conveyors it glitches out Like if I try to make a turn, it does anything else, but I wanna do. Can you please fix this bug?

Horrible controls. This has the most tedious and awful controls, after only a few minutes I was left looking for hot keys/shortcuts that just don’t exist. They expect you to tap every little box a thousand times instead of having some drag to place or box select system. I’d honestly be surprised if the devs spent more than an hour playing on a touch screen. 0/5 if I could, it’s a watered-down and significantly downgraded shadow of the original game. Shame

Too buggy to play enjoyably. I love this game’s concept but after playing it for about twenty hours I regret buying it. There are just too many bugs. Items don’t operate at their stated speed, conveyor belts sometimes take odd paths different than they should, the game uses way too much battery power, and takes a LONG time to load. It has all the signs of a game released prematurely.

Lost save. Was at 21 and reverted to 8. I spent a decent amount of time building out this game only to come home and long in and it says I’m only a level 8. I was at 21? And every time I switch to a new app or check my battery, the game asks if I want to purchase the full game… I bought the full game before even starting. Why I have to “restore purchase” every hour is ridiculous. Certainly some bugs. Not sure it’s worth the time or money.

Best Mobile Factory Game. I’ve always loved this game on pc but when I heard it was coming to mobile I couldn’t wait to play. It plays so well on the iPad and is already a favorite game on my mobile devices! Can’t wait to play the second game!

Save issues knocked you down 2 stars. Spent 3 hours playing last night and woke up to the game progress not registering anything I did and the save state being from 2 days ago… I otherwise love the game (other than a sorter not being available for so long 😒) but I don’t want to do all that again, and I think I’ll just lay off it for now

Horrible FPS. In no way shape or form should this game be running at the <20fps that it runs at on my brand new iPhone 16 Pro, or frankly any iPhone in the last 5 years. Does the developer actually play or test their own game? Surely no developer, much less any gamer, ever approve of shipping a game that can’t even hit 30fps on the top of the line devices on the platform. If you’re not going to optimize for the platform, then it’s just an empty money grab. Why should I hand over my money for that?

Blueprint utilization poor. This game would be a 5 if not for how blueprints work, or rather don’t work. When you copy a blueprint, if you then zoom out to go to a different part of the factory, you lose the print. Not a problem for a small factory, but this game seems to pride itself on the hugeness of the map, so copying a blueprint in one location and then going to the farther reaches of the factory, and losing the print, completely breaks the game fore. Apparently this isn’t a bug, but is intended?!?

Great game but... I don’t believe these are the original developers. I’ve played this game lots on pc and it’s very addictive I highly recommend. But on mobile the game is laggy and the controls are not simplified. I would hope they optimize it in the near future

Great game but some issues. Hey i love yalls game but my phone over heats so bad i literally took my case off and everything and played for like 20 mins its insane. also why aren't u implementing cross save between pc and phone is it not possible?

Can’t play w/o internet. Love the game I have it on steam so I immediately purchased the entire game, problem that I have is that even if you buy it you can’t play it offline bc it needs to authenticate every time I open it. Does not feel like I bought the game if I am restricted from playing it when I want.

Needs fixing on iPad. This is my favorite game on pc. I’ve played it a bit on my phone, but since Shapez 2 just released I thought I’d do a new run on my iPad. The game is completely uncontrollable on iPad. Selecting and placing buildings you want works about 30% of the time. There’s also no pencil support. Which I guess isn’t a complete deal breaker, but it would feel really natural with that functionality. I know this game is a bit older now, but please make the updates necessary to make this game playable on iPad.

Where is Shapez2?. I am playing this on my iPad, and am really hoping you guys get Shape2 onto iPad soon, especially since Apple released the M4 chip. Update: I really do enjoy this game. Unfortunately, now that I have reached level 20, or Freeplay, the game keeps crashing. What do I do?

Great game with a few bugs. I love the concept and it is generally well executed. I have hit a few bugs, specifically: * The cutters don’t behave properly, most of the time if you chain them, they don’t actually cut, and only one output will flow. This makes it very hard to get quarter pieces! Sometimes they start working if you leave to the main menu and come back. * Maybe I’m not using them correctly, but if I try to use a blueprint, it creates the copy, but then trying to move it, it disappears without being placed, but your blueprint tokens are spent!

Online Requirement. I would purchase the full unlock option if it did not require online access. This seems like a good game for travel where internet access might be limited. Looking forward to such an update!

AWESOME. I used to play this when I was younger in 2019, and I was so sad that I couldn’t get the full version. Now that I can get it on mobile and pay for it easily on my phone, I can finally play the entire game!

Great game… when it doesn’t delete your progress. I love this game, but this is the second time my save file has been wiped. (Both times I was over level 20) This should be the developers number 1 priority. At this moment, the game is broken! I’ll gladly update my review when they finally figure out how to fix this game breaking bug.

Great. I haven’t had much time to play the mobile version, but I’ve played the pc version, and it’s one of my top 10 favorites. However I was wondering if there were plans to sync progress with epic games or steam so you could transfer your saves from pc to mobile.

I love this game!. This is the best assembly line puzzle game I’ve ever played. It provides endless hours of entertainment and although there is some waiting required, there is always something to do or optimize while you wait.

5 Star Game, But. Got this on my computer years ago and it’s still great, I’ve been waiting for a mobile port for a while but I have a couple of recommendations, 1 Add JS mod Support from pc, and Let us Use PC saves to continue our saves. And try to let us use 60hz and 120hz. Thanks Playdigious for the Port

My Fave, but……. I absolutely love this game, I am addicted! But for some reason on my level 26 (I think) challenge the game has frozen so I cant move past that level. Wish there were some updates or something.
