Watchlist/ Playlist Frustration. When I watch videos from my watchlist, a new playlist (redundant) screen in the player comes up that I am unable to remove the video that I just watched from the watchlist. I have to swipe out of my player, to my watchlist to remove the video that I just watched. But when I do that, I am scrolled to a random location somewhere in the middle of my list where I have to scroll up and down to find the video that I just watched, in order to remove it from the list. I believe this is an issue with any/all playlists. The watchlist used to always have a shortcut on the Home Screen. But now it is dependent on how recently it was accessed. This can be frustrating when you have to scroll all the way down to the ‘W’s in order to find ‘Watchlist’. When saving to a playlist, the order is not alphabetical, but recent. Though that can be beneficial, if you are looking to safe into a play that you haven’t recently saved to, this can be daunting.

Nonexistent comments section. I've heard about the new update where video comments were moved to a different part of the page, which bothered me a little but not too much. However, when this app updated on my iPad, the comment section was completely removed and nowhere to be found. There is a button at the bottom of the recommendations that seems to redirect you to the new comments location, but when I tap on it, it just brings me to the original comments location, which is now entirely blank. I can't see comments other people posted, and I don't have the option to write a comment myself. I've made sure that it wasn't just that comments were disabled on the videos since I can see the comments on another device using the same account and same video. As someone who reads the comments as much as I watch the videos, I'm really disappointed and frustrated.

Poor Censorship. I saw a video talking about Dolly the sheep clone, people in the comment section were spreading how Dolly died because the sheep of the DNA taken to create Dolly was already old, therefore the clone which is Dolly continued the aging and died at 6. I felt weird and went up doing research, found out it’s because Dolly got infected with common lunge disease and got lunge tumor which led to it’s death. There’s also disclaimers about the saying within the comment section, which I decided to write a comment to tell people not to trust it. But my comments got censored whenever I attempt to judge or challenge if the person saying it having any evidences to back it up or even done any research. And I tried to adjust my comment to including only my research results and I got censored again, my comment shown successfully commented but disappears when ever I exit the video and click back in. This is for sure not good and misleading, I can’t even speak up and had to click report button that not even sure if it gonna work or not.

Updated review. Update: some old problems disappeared. But now sometimes when adding to a playlist some items do not appear. But they do appear when using a web browser and not the app They should list known bugs and what is fixed in the new version. I am afraid to upgrade since this upgrade made things worse. I upgraded” but now I cannot post a comment. I get the circle icon. The post does work sporadically I can no longer sort comments I can not easily switch to sign in another channel When saving to a playlist, it saves to the second ones listed. That is almost always wrong. Need to sort the playlists when saving. I have 193 playlists on one of my channels. 125 on another Need an option to sort playlists on channels where I am not signed in. I configure my playlists surname comma given name. I can sort and it makes a tremendous difference. When reading comments, need a way to block or censor all posts by a user. facebook has that. Makes it civilized.

Fair. I really don’t like being pestered into a subscription. And commercials or ads are now political can you remove them. I see so many political ads it makes me sick. Everyone of them is just so anti-Trump how about showing the advantages of having them in office and what they would do with their time in office. Like I want to hear how they would take care of our Communities and Country. And honestly it would really be nice to hear some ideas about their plans on what is really important like feeding our homeless winter is approaching and I just want to be able to see benefits of voting for them not more of that anti-Trump crap, it is getting old and it seems like all that is done anymore. Isn’t there more to USA then bashing Trump and his Administration. Show car Commercials plug some you tubers channel that may be of similar genre or subject. Can’t go wrong with food ads.

Ridiculous Advertisements. It’s honestly sad how unusable this platform has become. I get ads generate revenue but 40 second 60 second ads that can’t be skipped with the excuse of fewer ad breaks just to keep getting advertisements. If I skip to a different part of a video and still get a 60 second ad what’s the point. They’re just money hungry at this point. Double ads that you have to skip? It’s taking away from the experience. I’m not sitting around watching a video for two hours. So if I skip to a further point why are the ads still so long? U can’t even watch 5 minutes without getting either 3 ads or just an excessively long ad. U start video? Ad. Skip to another point? Ad. I wanna watch videos not advertisements. It’s genuinely just become unenjoyable to the point i’d rather just watch something else. Don’t let being so money hungry take away from the part of the app that actually makes it entertaining, the videos. I feel like I’m watching more advertisements than videos now. Please change it back or at least not make so ridiculous with the money grabbing tactics

If you think this has issues on your phone here’s you should watch on✅. I see lots of issues on reviews on phones but if you reading this computer you could watch on but sometime if you watch on tv it could get annoying because you have to press the buttons on the remote it get annoying a little annoying but I would watch on pc but unless your phone is fine with no issues but a lot of people says they have issues on phone but the tv to type with remote is annoying because it’s really slow but on your computer you can type fast since you have a keyboard (unless you don’t have a computer or laptop) but you don’t have a computer you may have to watch on phone or tv if you don’t have a computer but you do have one you can watch one it I was trying to help btw if you have issues on your phone

Why change the 3 dots button????. I would use this ALL the time to state if a video is not interesting or if I want to save for later. Now it is super small and you have to hold it down for that same menu to come up, turning an action that used to take no time at all into a frustrating and time consuming experience. If you tap on the three dots it just plays the video, what sense does that make if I’m trying to access the menu. This change happened without me even updating the app itself. Please change this back, there was no reason to do that. Also when a video finishes playing the next recommended videos pop up on the bottom of the screen making it hard to access the full screen button, so when I am trying to go in or out of full screen I almost always inadvertently press another video and then have to go all the way back out to get to what I was watching. Does anyone actually test these “features” before they are pushed out? ETA I just updated the app on my iPad and now the search doesn’t work, this is like a horrible joke. Rollback this update I can’t find anything useful about it.

Too close to the sun. While I have to respect the relentlessness with which ütube pursues it’s mission of connecting eyeballs and advertisers, they seem to be under the impression there’s no viable alternative, and have started acting like the monopoly they aren’t. I might have been literally yelling but I put up with thirty seconds of the most obnoxious advertising known to man for a two minute clip I wanted to see, but the mini ads (that are only half as mini when you include the buffering time) every forty five seconds had me deleting the app. I did redownload it to access some of the features they’ve removed from the web version, but it’s less time than it took to download I had to delete it again. The content library is still an almost insurmountable advantage, but that’s literally the only thing ütube has left. And a marginally slicker interface I guess, but so not worth all the ways it makes me furious. It’s also straight impossible to fall asleep to a movie that’s being interrupted every few minutes to listen to the smuggest woman ever say “kayak” fifteen times in a row.

They could care less about anything but profit. They treat creators horribly. The are basically a monopoly so have no incentive to prioritize the customer experience over anything. I want to listen to long form videos and primarily educational science content… you know what’s annoying when trying to do that? Not being able to see downvotes so you can’t immediately tell if a video is worth your time. Almost as annoying having shorts rammed down your throat when you don’t want to see ANY short form content… I can’t wait till more creators I follow move over to competitors so I can completely abandon this app and platform since they don’t bother trying to optimize it in a way I can actually customize what I want to see completely and immediately tell if something is worth watching due to vote ratios. Tired of them prioritizing things I don’t want to watch over what they want me to see. If I downvote someone I subscribe to once that is on their list of creators they don’t like, it disappears from my feed until I manually go to their vids again, but if I downvote ones they consider friendly they won’t stop showing up.

Comment Likes no longer go up. Fix it!. It took a while of seemingly endless update loops but the app finally finished an update. So far, some issues seem to be addressed, such as an active video in the lower right obscuring the ability to tap the 3 dots to the right of some videos at the end of long lists, such as Watch Later history and so on. Upon further review, the Videos tab on every channel is blank, regardless of how you sort. That’s a MAJOR bug. [Edit: They have since fixed this, so I’ll bump up the rating.] I like having the new ability to view replies to my comments on other videos without interrupting watching an unrelated video. I also like the addition of ¾ and 1¾ speed multipliers on videos. Unfortunately some videos now get paused when moved to the lower right corner, though this behavior is inconsistent. Also I’ve seen delays on comments in live streams going as far as nine (9!) minutes with only a few hundred or so people in chat. Also I have my fonts magnified due to poor vision, and for some reason, bold text in comments on videos is unusually small. So with the forced update, some things improved, and some didn’t. Update 10/26: This app routinely removes my likes on comments shortly afterward. I remove the like and re-like it, and the counter is fixed, then it decrements. It is so obvious when I’m the only one who liked someone’s comment, only to see the number "1" vanish shortly afterward. Fix your app!

What the-. Everything is just fine, except for a few details, this may just be for me, I don't know. I am unable to watch certain videos because restricted mode is on, I assure you I checked and turned it off on multiple occasions. The other thing is that when I search for a video to watch, instead of the video showing up, I see movies, ads, channels, and other completely unrelated things to my search. This makes no sense to me, I have never had a problem with this in the past, and it has started happening fairly recently. I have checked here in the app store, maybe to update it, but I can't. I am confused about why this is happening to me, and if possible if you could fix this. If anyone else has had trouble with this, and knows how to fix this, please let me know. By the way, this is my first time making a review, it seems a little formal (Not really).

Big Tech….. Another of the many apps and websites that were once great, but because of greed, are now awful. The number of ads you have to watch anymore is simply ridiculous when compared to other Apps like games and media viewers. I use to watch 3-5 videos and get maybe 2 ads that ran for 15 seconds each. Now, it’s about 6 ads for every 2 or 3 videos you watch and they’re back to back and not skippable(not counting the ads that run after the video). The other thing that’s gotten worse lately is the commenting. I can be chewed out, cursed at, and threatened…. But when I reply to a comment it’s assumed that I’m going to break the community guidelines and my comment never posts, or is quickly removed. This wouldn’t be a big deal if I actually broke the rules or guidelines, or was a troll like 50% of the people on the site. There are no warnings or notifications that I broke a rule, so I’ll never know why my comments are deleted. I’m left to just assume YT is becoming just another Corporate Tyrant, and are trying to influence society through censorship and and greed.

Ads ads ads. I enjoy YT but the ads are pesty. I have never nor will ever buy from them. They are an obstacle the moment they get in the way of what I came to watch, and so they are completely lost on me. I’m still not sure why some things I come to see are not preceded by an ad, and others are. I do not subscribe to anything and I don’t participate in the social aspects. I never will. The comments are far too abundant to be able to read in a lifetime and everybody has something they want to say, and everybody seems to be a comedian. I imagine there will come a time when the annoyances outweigh the content that I am entertained by, and I will disengage. Until that time, I will wade through the ads, ignore their content and/or go out of my way and even take lengths to avoid patronizing the advertisers. I hope to have the patience to continue to enjoy the content.

Fairly new addition. I signed up few months ago so I’m still learning how to use everything. I usually watch on my tv so I never see any links in corners or description and I would like to interact w the couple creators I am a big fan of. I was gifted a month membership to aquarium coop in feb and then kg aquatics in march. I feel lucky and noticed I don’t know if that is correct way of thinking about it. One thing I will say I don’t like is the constant reminder that I am not a member (I won’t be after this month ). I’m not a member to anyone’s and the reason is I am trying to support myself and my young daughter along with my 17 yo niece I live on 60$ a week it’s very stressful talking about money. I want you tube to be something that doesn’t relate to my stress in life. It makes me sad I can’t be a member bc I know I won’t even be able to communicate and get seen and a response

Some issues with the latest update. I use this app probably more than any other app on my iPhone. For the most part it’s really great, but not without flaws. Most of the videos displayed in the Home screen no longer show the video length timestamp in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail which is really irritating. It looks like all other views in the app show the timestamp, so hopefully it’s a bug that’s fixed ASAP. A couple random videos in the Home list show the timestamp while the other 95% do not, which makes no sense. Sometimes the video rotation gets stuck in landscape and will not revert back to portrait view, only the opposite landscape view. This has been a problem for a few months now, and the only way to fix it is to force quit the app. This is quite irritating. Finally, a good addition but extremely overdue feature is the ability to sort the Watch Later playlist. FINALLY this utterly BASIC feature exists. I have no idea why the Watch Later playlist worked so differently than regular playlists for so long, but that’s fixed now. The best addition from a few months ago was the feature of double-tapping to rewind and fast forward. Every video player needs this. It’s incredibly user friendly. It’s way better than the rudimentary 15-second skip buttons that many players now have.

Bug issues. YT has always been very reliable but the past couple of updates have caused a lot of bugs. I have no doubt they’ll be fixed but it is frustrating. The biggest issue is audio playing but no video on previews. I also just had an issue where the screen locked sideways but only half the screen and I had to close the app to get it oriented correctly. After I closed the app, audio from the video continued to play for a few seconds. Also, there is a LOT of scam ads. Ads using AI generated celebrity voice audio and then pairing it with a video that clearly doesn’t match up to what’s being said. I’ve reported them but the only way to stop them is for YT to step in. I understand that that’s not going to happen because they’re paying for ad time, but it’s very sketchy. I will update my review when the bug issues are resolved. Fingers crossed…

Strange status Bar glitch. Hi there… This app is great… But there is one problem… there is a strange status bar bug… lets say you are watching a video… And you want to check the time The time doesn't change… If you check the status bar while watching a video for example… Let's say I play a video that is 15 minutes long… At 9:31 AM and when that video is finished… It's already 9:47 AM unless… You exit out the video… The time still says 9:31 AM it'll be 5 o'clock in the afternoon and the status bar would still say 9:31 AM it's like… The clock got stuck The time doesn't change… Unless you restart the app… Or exit out the video also… Nothing in the status bar changes including the battery level The only way to see the correct time and all of the other information displayed you have to exit out the video And… For the iPad version if you select add to bye accident there is no cancel button it's been like that for three years please fix those issues… There really annoying

Disappointment. You Tube has become just a format for the grandkids to watch, cute kitty videos and how to make DIY slime. The real stuff, people posting videos backed up with statements, video, and bonafide articles, basically truth, are banned while you allow heads being chopped off, inaccurate information (proved inaccurate) and falsified information to continue to be posted. Your “terms of conditions” is obviously politically motivated, unjust and one-sided. You view your watchers as idiots, unable to sort thru the muck of fact or fiction and be able to think for themselves. As you continue to be a politically biased flat form, I would advise you to get a good grip on what your viewer’s opinions are as the tides are turning and people are getting tired of good people being banned while you promote a very incongruous platform. I gave you 2 stars because the grandkids really like to watch Myna birds talking to each other.

Community Tabs. Overall, this is a great app and I use it a lot instead of the online website. But the thing is, as a mobile user, when I go to a specific channel and try to see their old community posts [only if I have missed a few days of their content and want to see what they’ve been posting. And if you’re gonna think “just scroll down in the subscriptions tab”, no. I have over a hundred subscriptions with some of them posting every minute; I’m not gonna scroll down that far] it doesn’t let me and says that it isn’t available for mobile or something like that. But I can perfectly see the community tabs in the subscriptions tab? But it still doesn’t work since when I try to open up the comment section area or try to click on the message to see the entire thing, it still says the same thing about it ‘not working’, etc. I’m unable to see full community posts because of this, please fix it.

Use this everyday and love it but…. I love this app. I have a channel with a couple subs, videos and everything. I use it everyday. I have a suggestion though. It is that mindplayer is kept on even for videos set for kids. Many videos are set for kids and not only enjoyed by kids. It gets really annoying when I’m watching a video set for kids, I go to my recommended and it isn’t playing. Please change this. I also a bug I would love fixed. I also use YT shorts daily. Some of the shorts decide not to load sometimes. I have to scroll up to the previous one and go back for it to work, it’s really annoying. Sometimes it also just doesn’t load at all and I have to skip watching it. (It’s not my Wi-Fi that’s causing this problem). One more suggestion I have is pls add 1.10 playback speed. Please take my suggestions into consideration. Thanks, Adi, a person who loves YT and uses it daily.

Most broken app on my phone. Google has gotten so lazy. And don’t get me started with how broken their ad system is, and how they only care about making that $ and not monitoring what gets advertised on their platform, Really ironic that they get so angry at creators for not being “family friendly” but the ads are way worse and just plain disgusting. Other than that though i am on here daily Edit: wrote this review months ago. Not only have the issues I’ve experienced not gone away, but now there’s even more issues. 5% of the time the Skip ad timer doesn’t count properly and i need to close my video (yes even if its an ad in the middle of the video). Sometimes the video just pauses and doesn’t unpause until you double tap to rewind 10 seconds, only it rewinds about 2 minutes because the video timer stopped working. I have lower end internet and it forces me into 480p even though 720p works just fine, every single video and i need to manually change it to 720p. Its a stupid new system they decided to make to make this already broken app somehow even worse.

Stagnant monetized development. I have been a premium subscriber for a while now, so as new capabilities become available, I can understand the desire to monetize to create a variation between premium and non subscribing. The thing is that exists with ads and services such as TV. The biggest reason I got premium is I didn’t want to see ads for things I didn’t care about. That is the same reason I didn’t get TV, I don’t care about it. The desire to limit things such as PIP as to not lose the differences between paid and non is becoming ridiculous. Now, in the struggle to control background playing on iOS, google has safari crash if it is a non paying account trying to use PIP on mobile safari. Personally, that is kind of rude, and Apple should fix it in a patch because safari force crashing is in my opinion a iOS bug. No website should have that much control over your browser and OS. Apple? My gripe is that the app doesn’t have the functionality. Seriously? I’m already paying for it. Why do I have to use safari as a paid subscriber? It is this type of account greed that ruins companies.

Like app BUT. I actually like this app most of the time, however now that my son likes to watch movies and we have watched the ones we have at home like 300 times each I wanted to let him watch new ones on my phone. Due to the amount of data it takes, we don’t live near any WiFi connections and I only have my phone to view them on, I wanted to down load it to watch later with out using more data. Unfortunately, I am unable to down load any movies rated for children. Now this seems ridiculous to me I would think it would be the other way around where some could not down load rated r movies so kids can’t just down load bed movies at will. I think it would be better if we could at least down load kid movie with a pass word or something if we can prove we are the parent at least come on that is why I use you tube to see music videos and so my son can see kid movies. But I only 5G so he can’t watch his favorite ones two or three times because it used all my data, To bad I really did like this app but now I don’t use it very much.

Sometimes Sad. This website is perhaps the most important channel ever created. It represents the best of America and then the world, for everything we as people take pride in. But somewhere along the way it became biased and restrictive to expression and freely being able to share all thoughts. Before you could pick and choose ideas for thought and form your own opinion, and now it decided for you. Life is nothing more than just a space in time where people form amazing lives, share with others. Some good, some bad, we all just individually contribute to life which makes humanity fascinating. Can we restore this great place as it was or do we have accept division, oppression and sadness as the new normal and have to deny free people their throughs and speech which makes us all unique? These places are likes homes to people and nothing is worse than feeling unwanted.

I hate the App Store rating system…. …because the only way for me to get the developer’s attention is to leave a 2-or-less-star rating. I’m past the point of making excuses for how the app defaults to adding any video I “save” to putting it in my “Watch Later” playlist, no matter how many times I undo the addition in that playlist and instead add it to my favorites and no matter how many updates are issued. The app (and developers) should be smart enough to know which playlist I’m trying to add videos to, especially once I’ve seen them in their entirety. There is almost NO WAY I’d be adding them to my “watch later” playlist when I’ve already watched them in full. It doesn’t make any sense to me why this is still something I’m dealing with as an end user, even given this stage of the advancement of technological capability. It’s ridiculous, frankly — I don’t know how else to put it. I expect better from one of the most valuable companies on the planet, and I don’t think I’m off base for doing so.

Steve Slate Drums. I’ve been looking and reviewing on a lot of stuff from Steve Slate audio. The software plug-in for the drums are outstanding I bought the basic platinum kit for like 120 bucks. I am not disappointed with it I can’t wait to play with it later on I don’t want to put it down it’s so much fun to play with. Especially having the black album from Metallica on there it’s pretty cool which is under Steve Slate Meadow and then you’ll see a black cat and that’s all but all the white kid that they had on that album. I would highly recommend this software companion to the recording on Arsenal I don’t think you’ll be discouraged sound quality is fantastic it’s something you could check out go to SSD 5.5 and you can download the basic version of it it’s only like one or two cats but you get the idea and then you can decide to pay the &120

What I love about U Tube!. Almost every site starts out very user friendly, useful and most of all...free! Unfortunately, as greed goes, so do new fees, so called upgrades and no so updates that turn out to be new fees. Not so with U Tube! As with anything now, the are great people for the most, that use this service, but there are crazies that have abused the service. The only complaint is an innocent little video that I put out about kittens that someone put some very nasty comments about it. We rescue animals to save them. This person was very creepy. I do recall that it was a person that had put together voices that were imitations of John Lennon and Paul McCartney talking about events that never happened. I’m not a Beatles expert, but I knew the conversations never happened. I commented that the conversations weren’t real. I’m sure that’s why the author made the comments on my innocent little video.

Good app but advertisement overload. I understand the need for advertisements but it’s to the point now that it’s negatively impacting my experience. Now that there’s two, back to back ads in every break it’s irritating how much I have to interact with the app just to finish watching the video. The more I use the app the worse the experience gets. I usually like to use the app while doing other things like cooking or cleaning. I mostly listen and don’t always have my phone in hand. In an 11 minute video with 6 ads, the middle break had a 30 second unskippable ad followed by a 2 minute ad that was skippable. Unless I am physically on my phone to return to the video that would be 2:30 minutes of ads just for 1 of 3 ad breaks in an 11 minute video. It’s overload. I get that using the free version means you gets ads but it’s overshadowing the content. I don’t want to interact this much with something I’m watching. It’s not a game app. Guess I’ll just stick to watching it on the desktop with my ad blocker. Otherwise, yeah YT is ok. They’re just getting into Pandora territory which is disappointing. Didn’t mind the ads until recently.

At least the ban hammer is collecting dust!! 3rd. How come video games get demonetized?! But not werido stuff! Yall know what I’m talking about. 4th. The cyber bulling. HA. I guess is worse then crime in the streets. I don’t under stand that. But here we are. 5th. The unity in the culture Strong with the Force. If We get churches and politics. To unite. WOOOOOOOO!! America could be unstoppable. Just the facts. Sow to all the American maga hating losers. Bend the knee. Get your feet washed. That’s is the want right. Right. What’s next?? Used to be so good; quality has gone down. I love yt and have been using it for years, but over the past couple of months, a lot of newer problems have occurred, and preexisting problems that have gotten worse. 1. The things that get flagged. There are plenty of inappropriate things getting posted on yt and in general most are ignored by the algorithm and continue staying up, yet other things that are getting taken down despite there not being any real problems with it. 2. The ads Yt recently started putting up a lot more ads, which is annoying, not to mention pushing yt premium way more, but the most annoying part is at the end of the video an ad will play, and when you’re in full screen you may not be able to tell, meaning you might be watching an ad for literally no reason. 3. The updates. To be honest the updates don’t really seem to be doing anything other than changing the format, which has been getting consistently more annoying, especially as recently they moved where the x button on miniplayer is, which has become severely annoying as I’m used to clicking at the bottom, which means I have clicked a video I don’t want to watch multiple times because this. It’s really only a problem because I don’t really see the point of moving it. In general I still love using yt but I definitely don’t love it as much as I used to.

Every single thing is amazing in this app but... I love this app so much!!!! It has music, videos both family friendly and to age settings!, and so much more but their ONE CHANNEL I HAVE TK POINT OUT! Haiya_hate_all is a Spanish gacha tuber that hates on literally everything and when I say everything I mean EVERY SINGLE HECKIN THING! She hates on so many things! She’s a gacha tuber that hates on lbgtq+, Christians, satirists, any sort of religion tbh even Muslims she’s also racist, absolutely horrible at making videos in my opinion, I recommend blocking and reporting her channel if u wish to not see her pop on ur fyp(for you page) please stay away from her channel and make sure ur kids do as well, but it’s very very very rare to get one single person like that off of the other 1bil+ people on yt, u can even make ur own playlist and everything highly recommended! (AGAIN STAY AWAY FORM HAIYA)

Terrible update. The way you tried to condone and pack down the notifications bar is nice but awful, you make it a hassle to put notifications into your playlists without having to physically click every video and go back every time. Also the way you have the playlists is again too packed and you can barly see the playlists that you have out. Also for the notification sections you have, it’s annoying that if you have more then like five nodifications, to see the rest of the videos you again have to click and it goes into those weird playlists things. Also I hate how the nodifications when they go into the playlist things are from newest to oldest, making you unable to watch it from the oldest or beginning of a series to the end. Bad design choices all the way

Some problems. First off, I love this app. It’s easy to use and a great time-killer; but there is some problems that are annoying. First off, I hate the fact that you get forced to sit through 20 second ads without skipping, every five minutes. And it’s always the same as for me, and I’ve heard that the creators did this on PURPOSE to literally force people to use the Premium edition. Second off, there isn’t a ad timer on my phone that is like “Ads is 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…” but instead the ad just comes out of nowhere. Lastly, there is a weird bug that it something like a PC isn’t updated or the app isn’t correctly updated, Restricted Mode is stuck on and I can’t turn it off saying it’s enforced by an “administrator” and I don’t have an administrator. I hate giving bad reviews, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Please fix these I love this app just there is a few things I don’t like.

So many problems. The loading times can be pretty awful. Whenever I switch to a different tab or turn off my phone and play the video I was currently watching, the video takes sooo long to load when I unpause it. This doesn’t occur when I’m using the app and I don’t get why it happens when the app is running in the background. I understand why ads are a thing and this hasn’t been a problem before but now it feels like overkill. Every time I watch a video an ad pops up. Sometimes they’re 15 non-skippable ads and at its worst there’s two. And look, taking away the comments for videos that have been COPPA’d is one thing and removing the mini player is another. It makes no sense. I don’t get how this would be harmful for kids. And the way you decided what videos are for kids is awful. Some of creators have moved on from their channels so when you automatically decide their videos are for kids it removes a whole decade of comment sections. And I hate how I have to worry about my niece stumbling upon two anime girls talking about sex because you automatically decided all animation is for kids.

Newest Update Made It Frustrating. My main issue is that now, every single video I want to play constantly needs to be reloaded or replayed because of an “unknown error”, usually 3-5 times each video. Weirdly enough, sometimes it happens on a video that didn’t have any ad, but then it will bump into an error while I’m watching, need to be replayed, and then have an advertisement pop up. There’s also increased sensitivity; one accidental “swipe” of the finger from left to right and it will take me one page back, but for some reason, the opposite isn’t a feature. You can only go back a page, but never return to the one you were just on. It’s probably tolerable because it’s on mobile, where a lot of these issues can be pushed through by several taps, but it certainly downgraded my experience. I wouldn’t have updated the app if I knew this came with it, but of course, the previous version of the app didn’t allow you to use it if you didn’t immediately update.

Flipboard Channel Quality is Slipping. I notice some sites like Wash Post now want you to subscribe and I would rather have it not in my list of things to read. Other channel sites overwhelm you with ads everywhere some pop up as an overlay ad or as an inline ad and force a page reformat while you are reading the content. CNN articles always have this read more button that then reloads the whole article maybe. On my phone it often gets stuck in limbo so I move on to another article or just quit flipboard in frustration. The math channel is cluttered with bike articles that have nothing to do with math. I guess you all expect that mathematicians love to ride bikes more than read about math. Other channels are similarly afflicted with content unrelated to the channel. People want a better reading experience and flipboard is no longer providing that hence the one star. My apologies for the harshness of this review, I like flipboard and the way it presents articles in newspaper format but there has to be a better way to improve article reading without dynamic ad clutter like pop ups or delayed inline ads or pay site articles. Have your app developers really use flipboard themselves and find ways to make a better flipboard 2 or something. As it stands now you will lose folks slowly and they won’t come back.

Small but frustrating issue. Beginning to get frustrated with this app. I’ve used the mobile version of the app almost daily for years, and only recently began having this issue, but it happens so frequently now my patience is wearing very thin. I’ve used the iPhone 15 Pro for the last six months and only within the last 2-3 weeks has the problem shown. About 9/10 times I use the app comments on videos won’t show. It’ll show the name of the people who have already commented but it won’t show their comments. So I can’t contribute or even just read other’s thoughts and opinions. And about 1/2 the time it won’t even allow me to add a comment. Double and triple checked I do use the most up to date version of the application. Up until now I’ve given a 5 star rating but the frequency and severity of this issue have nearly dropped my opinion of it to a single star. In all honesty I won’t stop or even limit my use of the app, however I would greatly appreciate if the issue would be fixed in a timely manner.

the lower banner ads are driving me away. The still image ads placed beneath videos (the ones that are often deceptively designed to look like clickable videos) are almost as frustrating to deal with as all the AI reactors and voiceovers clogging up recommendations. They seem designed to be as easy as possible to miss-click on, because every time I pick up my phone from the bottom while watching a video, I’m whisked away to an ad that I will immediately close because I was never interested in the product in the first place. I get that filling half the screen with clickable ad space is probably making you good money for now, but eventually people are either going to get so sick of it that ad blocker usage will skyrocket, or the advertisers will realize that none of the impressions they’re getting are leading to sales or time spent on their site. Once those good faith advertisers leave, the only people willing to pay for these stupid click magnets are going to be phishing scams and data theft companies, if that’s not who’s buying them already.

New Picture in Picture is horrific. This new update where the Picture in Picture moved from the bottom bar to a floating window is so bad. The pause button is two taps away instead of one, moving it around is super janky and you can’t move it a second time until the animation is done playing which you need to do a lot because half the time it doesn’t go where you want it to. And all of this to make the picture bigger when it’s minimized? The whole point is to make it small so I can browse other things, and if I want it full screen again I can just tap it or swipe up. The X is also so easy to accidentally tap when it’s minimized on the new version that I’ve closed many videos while trying to bring them back up. Please revert back or at least make both options available because I understand that some people may want a larger Picture in Picture so they can browse most of the time, but this is incredibly frustrating for me and many other people who don’t use the app the same way as the target audience of this update.

Ad problems. If you’re gonna force people to buy your premium make it affordable for everyone. Having 8 ads before, in the middle of, and after a video is beyond annoying. And the next button feature doesn’t need to exist. The fact that you added it proves you’re putting too many ads in your forced as segments. People who can’t afford it use ad blockers cause it’s significantly cheaper. Stop with the ad overflow and people will probably flock to this app more, you’re being outclassed by every other streaming platform and it’s mainly cause yall don’t make your ad count and ad times reasonable. 5+ ads, each like 30+ seconds in length, AND an inability to skip until it’s the last ad? Like really? And work on banning click bait ads there’s way too many of those. I enjoy YT but honestly it’s becoming unbearable to be on cause unless it’s mobile phone you’re BOMBARDED with ad after ad before you can watch a two minute video the only way it makes sense is when you’re watching a 5+ hour video, and the ad spam lets you have a certain amount of time (like 15-30 mins) without them. Blocking someone from viewing cause you guys make viewing an unreasonable pain is not fair to the people who can’t afford your over priced premium. If people are having to use ad blockers it should be a hint y’all need to make changes. So take that hint and for once make a change everyone will love

Censorship is annoying.. I am no right wing neocon or Trump supporting populist by any stretch, but I certainly do get annoyed with all the censorship that seems to skew one way on this platform. Your censorship is applied terribly inconsistently - one video will be taken down while ten others running far more afoul of your rules will remain. I’ve begun to look at other platforms (like Odysee) even though, for familiarity’s sake, I’d prefer to just stick with this one. That said, your platform still contains more videos on a wider range of topics than your competitors do, but that won’t last if you keep this up. Protools used to be my DAW (digital audio workstation) of choice, but they allowed themselves to fall behind depending on their status as the “industry standard” to keep them relevant. The only reason people still use it is because that’s what a lot of pros started out on and are used to, but their status as the music industry’s standard is waning. I am actively annoyed that anybody still gives that DAW the time of day anymore.

Own it. Hate that I never watch leftist garbage and suggested videos have CNN, ABC, CBS, CNBC, NBC, New York Times, Bloomberg, The Post, Wall Street Journal, National Review, Time, Washington Post, Huffington, The Economist, USA Today, Black Lives Matter, et cetera as the posters! You Tube, Google, Twitter, Facebook definitely sensor stuff I prefer and over control ones I do want to watch, have to subscribe just to find what I prefer to watch and get word of mouth recommendations. Am looking for alternate choices that don’t manipulate as an agenda. Be sure that I share my opinion on this with everyone I know. I used to get on Facebook and Google more frequently but I am finding more unbiased places to go, you’re next if this keeps up, especially lying that you aren’t biased and manipulative. It has many flaws, the first is after an announcement the screen becomes small and is in a corner. The other is that if you hit it up while you watch the vertical video with the small screen, it becomes small too, the third is that if you are playing the video vertically and you try to lower the image of the video it gets stuck on many occasions. And in the vertical video it is locked when passing the video and the black stripes that were before that made less consumption please put them back on. There is no need for color effects on the stripes or put an option other than putting the device in saving mode. Thank you very much, please fix it.

You’re app is akin to a narcissistic mother. One star is now too much for you. I used to enjoy Utube but after the virus you had to label every video that doesn’t fit your narrative with some statement as if people didn’t have access to information any other way. Then you demonized several channels with thousands of followers because you want the control of telling people how and what to think. Then channels get lost in the algorithm because you don’t agree with their platform or what they say because it might hurt someone’s feelings. If a channel bothers someone they don’t have to watch it by the way. You took many off of the platform because you can’t handle people viewing any opinions based on actual factual information that is sourced. You make porn so accessible that kids can find it yet you block ideas that are just out of your comfort zone- hypocrite. Now you make everyone agree to disregard their own privacy and give their private information to any source you like because of your new sign in policy. You are a narcissistic app wanting complete power and control of all information.

I am so annoyed with this app. This is not new this has been going for well over 3 years now. Every time I add videos to my queue and the I go into landscape mode — I finished the video — I go back to portrait mode the entire queue no longer is showing. I can’t access the description box. The only workaround I have figured out is to go back to landscape mode and got this button with three lines and a little triangle and the queue will appear in to the right then I go back to portrait mode then the queue appears. Other times it completely wipes my queue. How is this possible that I could be the only one experiencing this and nobody else is complaining about it that this has not been fixed? This also happens when I get a queue of videos and close the screen and the same thing happens with the queue it disappears. This is so annoying it drives me crazy! Yes I pay for the premium subscription A feature request is when you you have a queue of videos and the app updates or whatever may happen how come on the backend you can’t just cache the links of the videos and then have a pop up appear asking if you want to restore the previous queue?

This app is almost perfect. I love this app! I really want this to be my life career to become a YouTuber! Though there is something they need to fix 1. When I post a video on private five days ago, then I put it on public it still shouldn’t say posted five days ago, though it should in creator studio so I have proof if someone reopload your vid 2. I got demonetized, but I already have all the requirements. Over 4000 hours of watch time, and 1000 subs! EDIT: years and this app has some great content but it’s also worse than I used to be. I’m sure most are familiar with its issues so I won’t state the obvious, but I will say this. PLEASE STOP PUSHING SHORTS! None of any other short content platform is as good as tik tok in both design and algorithms. It’s annoying to see it as the first few things you see when you look at the app page! Fix your issues and do what your good at. shorts should be an after thought.

Disgusting content "For You". When searching for content, one gets a list of videos related to the search. Then comes the "For You" section which can contain revolting, and sometimes violent images. I have reported these videos and they remain on the site...things like disfigured or diseased limbs, or images designed to create nauseous reactions. I am now very caution to scroll down when getting to the "For You" section. I have seen other people complain about this in other forums. You Tube doesn't seem to care. Wish I could give zero stars. Update: Repulsive content still present under the "For You" heading. Don't search and then scroll down too far. Disgusting, repulsive content when looking for guitar reviews. "For You" suggested that I watch a video of a man with a disgusting scalp disfiguration...when looking for guitar reviews. Repulsive content still suggested...f you yutoob! Wish I could give 0 stars, or -1 Update: Now, all of a sudden, whenever I select a video to watch, the algorithm suggests disgusting videos from southeast Asia...in languages not my own. Dislike feature. The recent removal of the feature allowing viewers to longer have the option to see the dislike count of a video lowers the overall quality of the app. This feature was supposedly meant to prevent creators from beings the victim of targeted harassment which is not a problem in the community whatsoever. The videos that would receive a ratio of more dislikes than likes most likely receives the dislikes due to the fact the videos are most frequently misleading, hateful, or display another feature of a video that should not be watched nor is it worth watching. YouTube’s removal of this feature now prevents users from determining the overall quality of the content they wouldn’t have to view had they been able to initially view the count for dislikes. Furthermore, the amount of likes on a video should also no longer be viewable by the audience due to the fact that this increases the chance of an audience member to like a video regardless of their true opinion. Overall YouTube’s recent decision making has been on a level that no company should be proud of.

Only three stars, please fix. I would give this a five star rating because it is actually a great app, the only problem I have with it is the verifying that you’re over 18, you have to take a photo of your passport, ID or debit/credit card. I have trust issues, and this info is personal, I don’t feel comfortable sharing this information to yous especially if I have no idea what’s going to happen with my info, you have to be 17+ to download this app, so why do we have to verify that we’re over 18 if we’ve verified that we’re over 17. It would be understanding if the age was 12+ to have that 18+ verification, but since it’s 17, there’s no excuse, if we’re 17, that’s old enough. I just don’t like the way yous put the verification by us giving you our private information. Do better please

Problem. Edit: think it’s fixed now somehow?? This is of course a great app but there’s one glitch that’s only appeared for me in the most recent update to do with comment replies. When I look at the comments on a video and click on “view replies” it works fine, but if I try scrolling down to view more replies to that comment it glitches out and goes to the next comment instead of just scrolling down to view other replies to the original comment. Sometimes (mainly on shorter comments with one or two replies) if I try clicking the x to take me back to viewing all the comments, it just gives me the option to report the comment for some reason, then I have to go back to home, subscriptions or trending or whatever to click on another video to get out of that, or exit the app. So yeah could something please be done about this? Thanks

522GW. I have had mine now for probably close to six maybe seven years it is the best Camera that I’ve ever had. I had no issues with installation. I bought the cabin camera also and then the rear camera wish I was able to install myself in my UV. If your patient enough to do it just take your time and there’s plenty of court. My question see you guys were I would like to access both the cabin camera and the rear camera at the same time I think somewhere I read you said that was available is this correct or not again I have posted it is the best camera I’ve ever had Tasmania Australia

Problem with downloads. I had close to 150 downloads of songs I like to listen to and now all of them have un downloaded on their own and it won’t let Me download anything, it keeps telling me to delete downloads to clear up space but it had already deleted everything that I downloaded so there is nothing more to delete. It would also be good if we could change the order in downloads instead of it just being from oldest to newest added. This has been extremely frustrating and I don’t know how to fix it

ALL Hallmark movies. I love all the Hallmark movies but every single one has something wrong with it. The sound cuts out at a crucial point in EVERY movie, at least once. They are often blurry or misplaced frame, or the ending is cut off and the movie is often different to what the title says it is going to be. I know the membership fee isn’t very expensive but I work really hard for my money and I do not think it is unreasonable to expect you to give something in return for the money you are earning - what we pay for. In anticipation of a correction of this matter I thank you for consideration of mine and I’m sure other people’s concerns. 😊

This app is great but... This app is great! Connecting through society and watching others do what you love to do! Although, there is this particular glitch that happened to me a couple of times, it’s when I watch a video and the time bar glitches out rapidly, going to the start and to my point of the video. Also, there is another glitch where I go to skip the ad but it keeps rapidly switching to “skip ad” and “video will play after ad”. And the last experience I had was when u had been in the middle of a video and I went to skip it but it put me back at the start of the video again. If you could fix this, I would be really happy!

Sub count annoyance. THIS APP IS EXTREMELY GREAT! But there’s one thing that just bugs me and i’m hoping u can remove this feature because it ruins some things for content creators trying to make subscriber specials. This problem is the rounded sub count, when a content creator (like me) wants to make a sub special they usually go onto a live sub counter and show them reaching it no u can’t do it, it just doesn’t feel as good. Also when you’re trying to study a bigger YouTuber you can’t (accurately) this really annoys me and i am begging u to remove this feature. Now I understand u removed it for a good reason it’s just bugging me soooo much. Thank u for your time and your app :)

It very impressed at all !. For starters you tube offered me a free trial and after a month they say my payments were around 12 dollars but then they billed me and the bill me more all the time ? I just cannot be bothered ; surely they small printed somewhere that they could increase the price after they entice you with a cheap deal ! I think is now 16 or 17 dollars My Netflix only cost me ten dollars and thousands of movies and tv programs that if you want to watch on yout tube ? Subscriber Bug. So I have about 12 channels (yes I know that’s a lot) but that’s not the point, I subscribed to one of my channels with all my other channels. So there should be at leased 10 subscribers on there, right? Well that was the case 2 days ago until I checked the subscriber count on that channel and it said “no subscribers” and I was like: well I’ve heard of a bug that unsubs you from a channel, so that probably happened. But I check on all of my channels and, get this, THEY ARE ALL SUBSCRIBED TO THE CHANNEL! How is that possible? To have over 10 accounts subscribed to your channel but have no subscribers?! Please fix this, I have a channel very close to monetisation and I really don’t want this to set me from hundreds of subscribers back to 0. So as I just said, please fix this bug.

This Is Great For Entertainment And Audio But.... Personally, if you are recording a video and want audio, people are nice enough to post audiobooks and music on here as videos. There is also extremely high deleknis, meaning this is available on all apps. You can also watch streams, which means you can talk with other friends, strangers and peers, also meaning the person running the stream is doing that exactly now! But, one thing I don’t like and would like to be added, is how everything is non-exclusive to PC’s, Desktop’s, And etc. But not, IPad, IPhone And IPods. Like adding channel banners, great for Computers, but not possible for IOS such and such. Thank you for reading, and please fix this.

If you tube was bad, it would most probably be in an improvement. Too many ad not just too many ads, but what the ads are sport and betting neither of which I do, or I’m interested in then there’s the things that aren’t even in English which is the only language I know for some reason now it’s promoting baby products including nappies which I don’t have or I’m not one of Anne in the past promoted make up I’m a man which does not take part in utilisation of make up and then is the recommendations for some reason, it is currently hooked on rain and thunderstorms the recommendations have gone so far downhill that they’re on the other side of the fricking planet. Did I mention of fricking adverts we all have one every 30 seconds and even if you say don’t recommend it it’s still hell does it doesn’t actually care

Great boredom buster. I think it’s a great app to go on when your bored! So many videos to suit your mood and current hobbies, it rlly helps cure your boredom! And you can make all kinds of videos to get tons of likes and views, and there’s really everything in there. Roblox, unboxing videos, heck there’s even Peppa pig videos if ur into that stuff! 😂 great app, would recommend! Great but there is an occurring bug.. This app is a great app and I use it all the time, but there is one constant bug which hasn’t seemed to be fixed yet. This bug is the “ error while loading tap to retry” bug. No matter what I do or how many guides I follow, I can’t seem to get this to stop happening or reduce it. I have kept this app up to date with every update and uninstalled and reinstalled it but this glitch will not go away. It stop you from commenting, looking at the description, looking at recommended videos on the side, the only thing you can do is watch the video. And if you are watching a stream, you cannot speak in the chat and this bug seems very common using streams.

Ruined my life (and all of my friends!). Great app 20/10 Doesn’t aim to just keep you addicted and harvest your brainpower for energy (clicks, ad viewing) like the machines in the matrix or all those other apps out there Highly recommend to anyone who wants to ensure that they will never be able to escape the downward pull of technology, and who prefers some classic hardcore 2020 anxiety-inducing escapism rather than the achievement of any meaningful progress in life. Lose seconds and minutes and hours and days and eventually years of your life with this great app, I promise it doesn’t create and aggravate mental health problems and contribute to a low self worth and sense of regret from wasted potential. 69/10 would die again

Love it but... A few problems lol. Yt is a great platform to me, but I just have a few problems. No.1 background listening only being available to people with premium :| I hate this feature bc I do not have premium and love to listen to edit audios while I do things (yes. I listen to them. I love em.) and whenever I go out of the app, it does not let me background listen bc I dOnT hAvE pReMiUm...... Second thing (last thing) the amount of advertsss...... The amount of ads in a singular video is wild, I was once bombarded with FOUR ads. FOUR! And it only let me skip the last ad, I was only gonna watch a 5 min video. And it gave me all those ads I have no interest in.. Such as real estate, and all that business stuff- in a personal opinion, yt users should be able to filter the types of ad they would like to see. ANYWAYS, I luv yt unconditionally besides from those 2 factors :3

The YT. Not a bad forum, lots of interesting content, could be more interesting content if the values of free speech were actually adhered to though & Google actually cared that freedom of speech we all love Uncle Sam for. Also, I don’t mind ads- it helps pay for the service & system…… however the # of ads is becoming a bit of a joke. Far too many, far too frequent & ads such as gambling & promoting unhealthy foods/services/delivery are really in bad taste. Society is having a health crisis & gambling is destroying the family unit. I wish these things were taken more into consideration rather than just being run for the quick $’s

Dislike button. I’d like for the dislike button to be removed, it is extremely degrading and hurtful to quite a lot of people. It’s upsetting to see so many dislikes on a video, and very harmful. I don’t have an account myself, but I know that it’s hard to see someone didn’t like your video, and therefor I would like if it was removed. Other then that, I do enjoy this app, with all those lovely and kind YouTubers that I watch, and they’ve certainly entertained me during the pandemic. All that I would like changed is the dislike button, and make it like certain social media apps, where you cannot dislike what others have posted. It’s not kind and will make the person feel down because they’ve worked so hard on something.

Bad update?. For about the last year the app has been getting a lot of updates trying to fix some the ‘bugs’ they call it. The app use to work very well, but recently works very poorly with cromecast and others, not connecting and dropping connection every time you use it. If compared to Netflix app which connects every time and doesn’t drop out. The queue randomly closing before your eyes never to be seen again, needing a app restart but then you may need to find a way to connect it again as your cromecast isn’t on the list yet again. Great app, too many bugs. Getting difficult to use :(

Great app but I have 2 requests please. Everything is exceptional..in next update please return sorting the videos of the channel from ‘oldest to newest’. It used to be an option, now only there is sorting by ‘popular’ & ‘recently uploaded’. The oldest to newest is very useful if I’m watching a channel teaching specific software for example. It’s like a course and you need to start from tutorial 1. Currently I have to select ‘recently updated’ then I scroll all the way down every time I open the channel. This is time consuming because sometimes the YouTuber has hundreds of videos. Also it’ll be great if ‘watched’ word appears next to the videos I already watched. Thanks heaps

Goodness gracious this thing is a god🥰😍😇. First of all im just going to say how much i love this app...from watching my favourite content creators to simple tips and tricks the community provides this app is my second to go to google. And the subscription part: 😘. Being able to follow the people you like and be alerted when they upload is really useful. One thing i recon could be improved is the fact that when you watching a video and then refresh the app the video your watching refreshes too meaning you have to repeatedly set the video to the right time over and over again. I dont know if there is any way to fix this but i would still highly recommend this app. 😤

Works ok but I have one gripe. Why do the majority of apps not work completely in landscape mode? I fully understand why portrait mode is considered the default. But what I’m curious to know is how much work would it be to make an app able to be used completely in landscape similar to how web browsers do? The app that annoys me the most in this regard is YouTube’s mobile app. Would be useful to keep it in landscape like after watching a video. Like if I’m watching a video or two in bed it’s annoying to have to keep switching between portrait and landscape just to select a new video or to write a comment. Why not remove the restriction and let people use the app in ways that best suits how they wanna use it. Web browser apps have been doing this for over a decade why can’t more apps do this? It’s annoying

A good service, but.... This is a good service platform for music, topical discussions and videos of kittens. However, there are several problems with the whole. First is the tendency of the algorithms to spew forth recommendations based on what could only be American consumer behaviour, which sensible humans do not adhere to. Secondly, while it is a good thing to have a reasonably open forum for expression of ideas and discussion, the tendency of the operators to cow-tow to the demands of the extreme left, the so called woke, leaves little left of open debate and discussion when the threat of censorious overreaction is all too likely. The operators need to maintain a neutral aspect in their curation of material.

So bad. The new autoplay feature is so ridiculous, I can't even hover on the home page anymore because videos I have no interest in & didn't actually watch go into my history ?? The amount of ads is disgusting. Not to mention the algorithm when you search for videos is stupid. I can barely find new content because once I scroll for a while I end up in a loop of the same content over and over and they're usually the bigger channels. And then months later I finally come accross videos or channels that would've been perfect at the time but never showed up. So frustrating. Also there is currently no permanent 1080p autoplay. You can only select a "higher quality" option which is 720p and then you have to manually go into advanced settings on every single video if you want the highest quality. Literally makes no sense

Squish THIS bug!. I upload videos and recently I just uploaded a new one. But when I uploaded it I realised it was set to private, I set it to public but when I was done it still said private. I tried again. It didn’t work. so I reuploaded it and made sure I set it to public before it was uploaded. It still said private, I set it to public for the fourth time and it still didn’t work but then from the corner of my eye I saw something pop up from the bottom of the screen. It said something about an error when trying to save me setting the video to public. I tried setting it to public twice more but it still didn’t work and that’s what brought me here.

Really unhappy with the double 15 sec ads!. Wth is with suddenly double-barrelling 15 sec ads? The start ads of every monetised video seem to now be all 2 x 15’s with no chance to skip. Really not happy, particularly since the number of ads per video also seems to be increasing. If only your advertisers knew that we’re more likely to watch a 5 sec ad & look away from the 15’s until they’re done. Also sick of being bombarded with the same ads over & over & over. Also unhappy that people who deliberately insult, abuse people with absolute torrents of foul language, harass & antagonise people, all under the guise of being “First Amendment auditors” seem to have absolutely no checks on them unless the video contains actual violence. Reporting their videos does nothing. They still continue to abuse people for no legitimate reason in the most vile way, screaming abuse at them for sometimes 20-30 mins or more out of their video, yet somehow this doesn’t violate community standards?

Love it but... - Please fix this!. It’s a very good app but I hate when we cannot write a comment that’s annoying and the adds kill me! Maybe you guys can change some stuff..? I hate when I want to write a comment and watch the video still an add comes up like whenever I go to write a comment there is an add and sometimes I cannot press skip on adds and when there is an add without the skip button I have to watch 2 adds and that annoys me so much , change that please! Bugs! That is annoying! I have an Apple device and I need an account to subscribe , like and comment and that kills me cause I had a Samsung device too and to like , subscribe and comment you did not need an account so please fix that! But it’s a great app anyway! Like it but fix it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very bad bug but otherwise is great. This app is great except there is a very annoying bug that I have come across multiple times. Occasionally when I’m watching a video, my device doesn’t recognise my touch on the screen. Strangely, the only thing that does recognise my touch is the video. Not the comments and not the suggested area, just the video. Even more annoying is I can’t close the app when this happens or change the volume. In fact I can’t even turn off my device. I simply have to wait it out and then my device automatically restarts but instead of shutting down, it sends me to my lock screen. I hope that you get a chance to fix it when you can! If this device-breaking bug wasn’t present, I would of given 5 stars.

Review. You Tube saves my life every day, so thank you. It is all I have, so no Facebook etc. I liked being able to see my whole viewing history easily and which of the sub videos I’ve already seen. I save longer ones to watch later just by going over them then going back. But. Oh I can’t seem to go scrolling back through the list. I often want a playlist. But not on auto play. I like to turn on a show and go to sleep then it shuts off straight away. Sometimes the shows are only on the playlist. I’d like to be able to see the whole thing and maybe select the number of shows to play in a row before closing off. Like maybe up to six things and not a whole big lot? I hate the commercial content being hidden in shows like with Mr Ballin, or that Simon bloke. Good shows must cost to make, so they get sponsors. I don’t want the “good” shows then. Use another platform. I like no ads so much I’d prefer regular people make stuff to post rather than professionals who want to live off of it. Thanks for asking.

Bring back the dislike count!. You have harmed the educational community by removing the dislike count from videos. How are people supposed to efficiently filter out good educational content without it? You have made it that I can only look at videos of well known creators that I know produce good content, leaving the little guys out of the picture. How is a new creator supposed to make it big if I won’t even bother looking at his/her content because I don’t know whether they make good content or not. Guess what? If I see a few of their videos with high like count ratio, I am going to keep watching them, subscribe and share their page, supporting their journey. What you’ve done has really devalued your platform and I only wish that someone else comes and monopolises the market you currently dominate! Not only because of this but more so of the facade you put to the public claiming it is for the “well-being” of creators! You’re liars and deceitful! If I could give this a negative star rating I would!

Needs work. Especially downloads and offline viewing.. I pay for premium subscription in order to download content to watch/listen offline and have it continue to play in background while the screen is off on my mobile device. I am also frequently in and out of mobile and wifi coverage. This app could really benefit from remembering where you were up to in downloaded videos. It frequently loses position when you come back to the app and you have to manually find where you were up to again. Also downloading content is very unreliable. Even if perfect coverage it just hangs and does not download, or gets to a certain percentage and stops. Doesn’t matter if it is a wifi or mobile connection. It is very hard and unreliable to restart or continue the download at a later time. I must say I expected a lot better and more refined experience for software from this stable - especially seeing how many million people are using it. It’s tedious and annoying.

Current version change. Auto update changed it so I can’t access my notifications as easily, not a good change I always use my notifications to make sure I watch the creators I like. Please fix. The notifications used to be in the main bar down the bottom, now a small icon at the top which means you can’t switch between notifications, subscriptions and recommended quickly (no one uses trending so you can put that up in the no man’s land at the top). Seems like an attack on creators, why make everyone ring the stupid bell if you’re not even going to prioritise the notifications menu. Seriously guys please fix it.

A lot of glitches. Whenever I watch a video from a landscape and tap on a notification bar and go on other apps, when I come back, it would stay landscape, and nothing would let it come back to a portrait mode, not even switch videos from sliding up to see the suggested video. I tried locking and unlocking my phone from rotation, the exit full screen in the bottom corner didn’t work. Talking of switching videos, my phone would start playing the up next video in middle of my current video. I was mostly in the landscape mode, and I wasn’t even touching the scree. I realized this when I had just finished a 6 second ad, and it started playing another ad right after(a little sus). But this would happen randomly as long as I am watching the video. These glitches are really annoying and I hope you that guys patch them soon.

Great app, but it has a few problems. I really like this app and watching my favourite creators create quality content. But WHY remove the dislike button? This button provided users to determine if the creator was worthy. AND also now the creator can no longer get feedback on how many dislikes they have! And BRING BACK THE OLD COMMENT SECTION I find it irritating that I can no longer scroll down easily as I used to! Also, There is way to much creepy images and content on this app, I ask you to PLEASE look after your app a little bit more. Finally,please limit the amount of 15 and 30 second adds as I find them extremely annoying. Overall it is a really addictive and great app, but please take my advice.

The new update on automatically quality options. Now the quality is always at high settings and I have to change it to the lowest quality every time afterwards I watch a video, before you can just choose your quality and it will keep itself for the next video and when I’m driving I usually listen too music and set the quality to lowest so I can saved up data but now I can’t even listened music without have to go back to quality options which is dangerous when I’m driving and have to clicked the option every time a new music I listen with out it being a high HD 720p60 and I did go to the options and choose the data saver but it will only saved 360p and not 144p or minimum 240p so I can save up data.

Great app! Adding videos to a playlist while viewing makes categorising messy.. Great app, can get a little busy of screen, but that’s because of all the functionality. There is an issue with adding a video with the +Playlist button while watching a video and it adding it to the most recently edited playlist, but when you press and pick a different playlist, the video isn’t removed from the initially edited playlist. So many of my playlists have videos meant for other playlists. It makes categorising videos I watch over and over very messy and tedious. It’s a quick fix and would make the experience heaps better!

Copyright claim needs to be free just by giving credit to the owner of the music and the song. So new update idea copyright claim can be avoided by having an option to just give Credit to the owner and the creator instead of buying stuff but still give support to the creator it’s just annoying like copyright has to stop but stay at the same time like just crediting the creators would be better then buying premium or getting permission but just crediting them would be better and adding a permission track from the option when credit to them they send a permission to it from their end so it’s easier please make this happen because some of us don’t have enough money to get permission credit it would be better if credit to the creator was added as an option instead of copyright strike/claims for just giving credit

The app just freezes after launching. After launching, the Home tab is selected and the shimmering loading placeholder is shown. The shimmer is shown for 1 second. This app, so far, works nothing other than that. Tapping any controls doesn’t interact the app. The app just stuck. The worst part is that reinstalling doesn’t really solve the bug. For sure, reinstalling restores the app temporarily. But the app again stuck few days after. Reinstalling is quite painful anyway because there are lots of settings stored in the app itself and they are removed by that operation. I’d never experienced this problem until this month. Probably the recent updates are just poor quality. Please improve your QA team.

I thank god for you tube. You tube well what can I say? I suffer from mental health issues such as depression and if it wasn’t for you tube music where all & every song note is ready & waiting at your fingertips my days would be filled with pain & sorrow it truly gets me through the day. I put my favourite rap song on & get into it nice & loud and forget my day to day problems, it’s the best medication for my depression & anxiety . Every movie line & documentary ,comedy or tv shows old or new . Just everything & all of it is available through your network at your fingertips. Great job you tube , I love getting up in the mornings now and can’t wait to put my first song on and get right into it .

Best music video app. Few suggestions: playlist should include thumbnail when shared-not just link…, option to post video as “made for kids” should have warning that doing so will bring restrictions on video and the option should be stated more clearly eg- “video ESPECIALLY made for kids” -people seem to misunderstand “made for kids” to mean SUITABLE for kids…, and thanks for the increased flexibility with editing playlists 🙏 also need options to merge/delete/move to folder…, and clips option should allow us to make a clip of up to 10 minutes so that it will be possible to clip a song from a live program 🙏🙏thanks

Too many ads. To be honest this app runs well, it’s smart and sufficient. But the amount of ads absolutely crazy, it makes me not even want to go on the app because I know that whatever I am watching will be interrupted by multiple ads, up to 20 ads. Some as they don’t let you skip because they’re only 30 seconds long, I think it should give you the option to skip all the ads. And why would you even think of putting two ads back to back let alone and two minute ad on a video. Half the time I’ve never near my device to press pause and play and I let it run, I am then forced to listen to the ad. I think it’s absolutely silly all at should be removed or at least go back to how they used to be where it was like one add per video.. not happy

I ❤️You Tube Music. I love listening to new songs, upcoming songs, remixes of mine, songs of mine, old songs and more. I love looking at the videos as it reminds me of growing up listening to MTV and seeing videos to all the songs back in the 90’s when I was just a teenager. Had no money but a belief I’d make something worthwhile of my life. I never doubted this and music and videos inspired my young heart. Now I’m a family woman, a mother? A career woman, a good and You Tube music keeps inspiring me everyday through music 🎶. I listen to it when I’m relaxing, I listen to it when Re m I need inspiration to keep active and exercise daily, I listen to it when I’m happy or upset. Music is everywhere I go, thank you You Tube❤️.

Terrible update. My app was working great until I updated yesterday and now it’s freezing every time I try to use it. The audio continues to play but the video is frozen. Then when I try to get out of it it won’t even shut down, I have to close my phone down and then double click to shut down the app. When I restart it it immediately freezes again. I tried to watch a different video and when I opened it up it was playing the audio of the new clip but still had the frozen picture of the last clip. Please fix! I use this app so often I’ll start having withdrawals soon.

Apple TV App. Still has a bug where if you click left to get onto the menu sometimes you cant go up and down, its fixed by going back to the videos and trying again, never happens twice in a row. Would really like the FILTER option to appear in search, its been many years now without the filter! Just trying to get a filter so you can see recent videos in the search from todays date backwards. Would really like more videos to be suggested not the same ones over and over, seems like when you hit refresh it takes about 4 refreshes to find new stuff. The refresh button by the way is amazing m, saves having to restart the app all the time.

Been years and they still can’t fix the bugs. Every time the adds play they are seriously louder then the content being watched, to the point where if I don’t have the mute controller in hand for when the ads come on, I can’t watch anything on this app at night as people living with me might wake up. You tube has know of this issue for years, and they still won’t fix it, all they do is try to add longer and longer ad segments at high volume. It’s gone from any add being longer then 5 seconds can be skipped, to the ad must be over 30 seconds to have a skip option, and now they play up to 3 random ads, meaning you could have 3x 15 seconds of ads or 45 seconds with no ability to skip the ads. So now when ads come on I simply mute it, walk away and make a tea or do swim thing else, and if I’m not back in time, I rewind to where I was. It can be quite annoying when you have time constraints to watch something and have to be delayed by 2 lots of 3x15 second ads. They simply don’t care about non subscribers and put out a lack lustre product. If another company starts doing what you tube does, I’m jumping ship.

SO many ads + useless algorithm. The huge increase in advertising is on the verge of ridiculousness - especially when ad targeting is sooo off base. Not to mention the amount of ads for legit scams that Google is happy to $erve up to people. Actual scams. I ignore most ads by reading comments and zoning out until they’re over to avoid being subjected to this garbage. Turn your volume down to avoid it! Inoffensive, harmless comments seem to disappear so often now for no discernible reason. The algorithm is *constantly* suggesting videos I’ve watched already. CONSTANTLY! The way that compliant channels are regularly abused by copyright trolling etc and the difficulty (impossibility?) of fighting this is unfair for creators AND viewers. But there are so many great channels on the platform with interesting content made by talented people and I spend way, way too much time watching or listening. If the platform deteriorates even further it might be good because I’ll get back a hella lot of my time.

Too many glitches.. Personally I love this app. But there is too many glitches no matter what there’s always a glitch. I’ll name three of the worst glitches I’ve encountered. Number 1. When I close a ad that’s on the recommended videos and I zoom in I can’t even pause or exit full screen I have to turn off my iPad and the sound keeps playing even when it is off this has happened two times. Number 2. The screen sometimes glitches by making it smaller and black screens on the side where the comment section and recommend videos should be, this has happened a million times to me. (a lot) number 3. When I’m typing a comment and typed some I don’t wanna post the comment so I end up press the keyboard down button but the bar is still there I have to press the top right of the screen for it to go away. This has been my review and I’ve given it 3 stars please fix all these glitches.

This app is good. Overall a very fantastic app with some annoying glitches. I will say one of the thing is the comment. I love a video , so I comment to share my feelings and to support the video. But when I try to type the comments, the ads come in and interrupt my typing. Fine, you can say it is how ads work, interruption is normal, but after ads, can the app bring me back to where I am interrupted. I have to scroll down all the way back to comment and start again, which is very annoying. Same things happened when I try to read some interesting comment, when the ads come in, I have to start over from the 1st comment. Please consider .

Good, but glitchy... Why is this not fixed yet? It’s been like a year... Basically when you comment while the video is playing it’ll randomly glitch up but not letting you pause video or delete what you typed in the box. Look, just have it fixed once and for all, it’s really embarrassing that I have to use to safari version -.- and annoying. Sometimes the screen is frozen but the video keeps playing. It’s annoying that I have to close it and open it twice sometimes. I’m surprised this isn’t fixed yet so please get onto it now so it can work beautifully. Also cannot find options to pay for advertising my content so... yeah.

Very good app but…. They run ads intended to lie to consumers.. They now allow ads that lie, for example one just has a big “YOUR PHONE IS INFECTED, SCAN NOW”. Some people may not know enough to know that this is a lie in a paid ad. Youtube should worry about their ethics more. On top of this, their copyright strike system is broken and abusable. Hostility towards their own content creators is terrible. Too bad they don’t have any significant competitors to jump ship to.

Says I have no connection??. Literally every time I use the app now it says I have no connection. I have 3GB of data that's always on and wifi while trying to use it no reason it's not working, and what's with all the ads now when it does work? Fix asap!

YouTube, what the heck?. Every video in my recommended section under the playing video is little kid videos and videos in other languages, nothing relating to the music or video I am currently watching or have watched. YouTube, what the heck is going on?

Please fix this bug!. I love YouTube, Its my most used app on my phone, it's. A great app and super helpful and entertaining. However, lately my YouTube recommendations have been really weird. The app keeps recommending content I don't watch and am not interested in such as sports videos, wildlife videos, random music video's, gaming video's, etc. And I barley get recommended any videos that I'm actually interested in. I have tried everything to reset my YouTube recommendations to show content that I actually like. Because of this, i am only going to rate it 4 stars. If you could please fix this bug as soon as posing or at least look into it, that would be great

Bad platform. The way YouTube treats its creators is horrible. They make it almost impossible to make content. You’re not allowed to make edgy content or content that’s too child friendly. Hopefully YouTube can clean itself up in the future.

I sold all my shares.. YouTube is all ads, I’m uninstalling and using any other service. A 30 second “survey” just popped up. That was the final straw. I think YouTube has become a disgrace and is the flagship of everything that is wrong with the internet. I never write reviews but I’m making an exception for this giant load of bull. I’ve been with YouTube a long time and have sold all my shares. Many ventures become monopolies like this but then get cocky and profit hungry to justify wild valuations and push all their users away to more friendly services.

The new update. The most recent update where when your watching a video and pull up on the bottom to view more videos, and you can’t click the screen to go back to the video is really dumb and annoying. You now need to either reslide down or click the x way in the corner. This is very inconvenient. I would like it to be changed back.

Horrible bugs for content creators and chanels. Youtube has a less than favorable system when it comes to regulating views, likes, dislikes and comments. It’s not very helpful for content creators and can create confusion as well as setbacks for updates and videos. This doesn’t seem dramatic, until it deletes 10M+ views on a certain videos, and then prevents subscribers and viewers from seeing it. Fix this problem as soon as you can.

dislike button no longer works. where are the dislikes? i was trying to watch a movie review and it was horrible. i could not tell because i can’t see the dislikes

YouTube is a Platform (new town square). YouTube is deleting channels and videos for no reason. They are platform and should not be allowed to delete videos on someone’s opinion that they don’t like. It’s the new time square. Then they push the main stream media videos, which is 99% left. I go to YouTube for the news so I can hear many peoples views of a news story in one place. But if they keep shooting them selfs in the foot. They many push a lot of their creators away. The people who got them in the place that they are today. Wish they were neutral and transparent. There is still time.

Comment section update. The new Comment section update is absolutely bad and uncomfortable. Many people see the comment after watch the video, but that bew comment is so hard to see all the comments and terrible.

pause screen keeps popping up. every time i watch youtube the pause screen keeps popping up on my iphone X, tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but no success. It’s been a couple months now and youtube has t fixed it

Bring back the old comments section. This ain’t it. The new comments section is not user friendly. With the old one you could easily access it with a swipe. Also what is up with the super huge thumbnails for recommended videos?? Takes up so much screen space

New update messed it up.. The app keeps crashing on me now and when I try to read reply’s to comments my screen freezes but the audio to the video will still play. Also sometimes I’ll go full screen into a video and it won’t let me leave full screen. Please fix this.

bring back our views. i know it’s very petty to do this review but i can’t just let this slide. it’s so fecking disrespectful to remove views on a video that you know people had worked so hard to gain. especially if you know those people put so much time and effort into streaming those videos. we aren’t ‘bots’. #ytbringback67m ^you took away more than 67m tho

Phone goes on sleeping mode while watching a video on YouTube. Since I installed this update my phone goes on sleeping mode even while i'am watching a video on YouTube. Which is really annoying..in the past as long as the YouTube video is on playing the phone doesn't go on sleeping mode. Don't know what modification you've made. Please fix that ASAP.

Frustrating UI. The UI is very user-unfriendly. It seems intentionally designed to trick users into accidentally clicking on videos they do not want to watch. Playback controls not visible until you click on the playing video, then they disappear too quickly, which makes it frustratingly difficult to pause a video at a certain point; for example to read a brief title card. Even the “premium” controls require drilling down through multiple menus every time you reopen the player. Search function is useless as the results are glutted with large commercial and mainstream media channels, making content from independent creators impossible to find via search. No means of blocking specific channels, no means of filtering out mainstream media garbage. Latest update introduces new bugs, notably when you remove an item from a playlist, the list scrolls by itself to some random spot. This is a longstanding bug experienced whenever the screen is rotated, but now it is worse. Also, the new miniplayer is super annoying and blocks the background, instead of docking at the bottom as before.

They don’t care about anything but profit.. They treat creators horribly. The are basically a monopoly so have no incentive to prioritize the customer experience over anything. I want to listen to long form videos and primarily educational science content... you know what's annoying when trying to do that? Not being able to see downvotes so you can't immediately tell if a video is worth your time. Almost as annoying having shorts rammed down your throat when you don't want to see ANY short form content... I can't wait till more creators I follow move over to competitors so I can completely abandon this app and platform since they don't bother trying to optimize it in a way I can actually customize what I want to see completely and immediately tell if something is worth watching due to vote ratios. Tired of them prioritizing things I don't want to watch over what they want me to see. If I downvote someone I subscribe to once that is on their list of creators they don't like, it disappears from my feed until I manually go to their vids again, but if I downvote ones they consider friendly they won't stop showing up. The platform has way to many problems to keep listing.

Background Play Issues. I don’t think background play should be a premium feature. But for some reason it is, despite the fact that you wouldn’t be able to skip ads and video watch time would be higher since skipping around or changing videos would require several extra steps. So I pay for it, because my job would be boring without background videos. So it would be nice, as we have to pay for the feature - if it at LEAST worked half okay. Videos randomly stop playing all the time, when they start at all. If it stops playing it closes the app, and when you reopen it the video either starts from a random earlier point or doesn’t come up at all and won’t be in the history section. For a basic feature that should be free but seemingly arbitrarily isn’t, you’d think it might work well at the very least.

Good app but advertisement overload. I understand the need for advertisements but it’s to the point now that it’s negatively impacting my experience. Now that there’s two, back to back ads in every break it’s irritating how much I have to interact with the app just to finish watching the video. The more I use the app the worse the experience gets. I usually like to use the app while doing other things like cooking or cleaning. I mostly listen and don’t always have my phone in hand. In an 11 minute video with 6 ads, the middle break had a 30 second unskippable ad followed by a 2 minute ad that was skippable. Unless I am physically on my phone to return to the video that would be 2:30 minutes of ads just for 1 of 3 ad breaks in an 11 minute video. It’s overload. I get that using the free version means you gets ads but it’s overshadowing the content. I don’t want to interact this much with something I’m watching. It’s not a game app. Guess I’ll just stick to watching it on the desktop with my ad blocker. Otherwise, yeah YT is ok. They’re just getting into Pandora territory which is disappointing. Didn’t mind the ads until recently.

Bug issues. YT has always been very reliable but the past couple of updates have caused a lot of bugs. I have no doubt they’ll be fixed but it is frustrating. The biggest issue is audio playing but no video on previews. I also just had an issue where the screen locked sideways but only half the screen and I had to close the app to get it oriented correctly. After I closed the app, audio from the video continued to play for a few seconds. Also, there is a LOT of scam ads. Ads using AI generated celebrity voice audio and then pairing it with a video that clearly doesn’t match up to what’s being said. I’ve reported them but the only way to stop them is for YT to step in. I understand that that’s not going to happen because they’re paying for ad time, but it’s very sketchy. I will update my review when the bug issues are resolved. Fingers crossed…

I been doing this since I was a toddler. I’ve seen lots of things in my life. Today we give it name’s paranormal, metaphysics and parapsychology. But to an eight year old the images were terrifying. I would see people and faces when I closed my eyes. I would have horrible nightmares. I would see places I’ve been like large crowds of people walking up and down sidewalks in a city I’ve never been to. I mean we had tv back in the early 70’s. But as kids we were always outside. Except for Saturday’s we watched cartoons and a few cartoons during weekdays. My family would tell me you saw it on television. But I don’t just see things and people I feel them. I’ve even had a dream that came true in exact detail like I ripped a page from out of the future and saw events before they happened. And then years later I lived it. I’d like to understand this more. Maybe we can help each other.

App works but too many inappropriate ads. I’ve been using the app for many years and it’s my main source of media streaming. The ads, while numerous and sometimes mildly disruptive, have been increasing which i felt was ok given that the program is free. However, today i had to finally uninstall it. I consistently report inappropriate ads like ones from temu, which I’ve never ordered from, showing inappropriate sexual material like girls in poses for underwear or lingerie. Another example today i was watching cnn press conference of trudeau and an ad for an internet radio station started playing and it was a woman saying take off your pants some kind of book or show with sexual themes i guess. I don’t want that kind of stuff showing on my phone or playing or loud. I feel like the app has become nsfw. I’ve reported the ads many times probably more than 50 at this time and there is no change in the ad behavior or which ones I’m getting. Why bother anymore

Update. I recently had to update my google account because I had not used it for years. I am not good at this stuff but after several hours and attempts I got it and the you tube didn’t recognize means my history was lost. A few hours later 😃 I got it back and now it works better and does more. It keeps going when I open texts, it pauses when I get a call. I don’t know what else but am learning every day. A while back I got in trouble a lot and has posts deleted and suspended for a day or to several times. I saw the work arounds people used and behaved a little better. Yesterday I was in a mood and trolled hard all day knowing I was going to get suspended for a while but didn’t care and this morning everything was fine so I think maybe things aren’t being censored as much. I wish there was a category for best you tube troll, I would compete 🏁

Long term goal?. Hello and thank you for allowing me to use this platform. Although i am not a content contributor i do enjoy spectating others work. That being said, plenty of contributors are being silenced and or restricted in what they would like to share with the world. And as this is still a capitalist nation, they are free to take their content and followers to an alternate platform if they so choose, barring and of your terms and conditions. If ending frustration is the goal then wouldn’t it be wise to turn down both sides and focus on family entertainment and self development video’s? This environment reminds me of HS where a fight would break out, as everyone watched people get hurt, most didn’t intervene because it was entertaining to watch.. What is fair for one should be fair to many. To holistically apply a standard is more then fair, however to limit or deny one side of the argument seems like an echo chamber to me.. This prevents fresh idea’s from cultivating and limits the scope of development. I am very curious of how this platform will look in 5 years? What will be allowed to be presented for the world to consume? Who will be in charge of said content review? Will users have to earn the right to or pay to publish? Whoever may be reading this, i wish you the upmost luck and success with all things in life. And thank you for all your hard work to keep this platform up and running. My family and i get a kick out of most things here.. Not forgetting to mention the income you provide to some of these contributors.

Small but frustrating issue. Beginning to get frustrated with this app. I’ve used the mobile version of the app almost daily for years, and only recently began having this issue, but it happens so frequently now my patience is wearing very thin. I’ve used the iPhone 15 Pro for the last six months and only within the last 2-3 weeks has the problem shown. About 9/10 times I use the app comments on videos won’t show. It’ll show the name of the people who have already commented but it won’t show their comments. So I can’t contribute or even just read other’s thoughts and opinions. And about 1/2 the time it won’t even allow me to add a comment. Double and triple checked I do use the most up to date version of the application. Up until now I’ve given a 5 star rating but the frequency and severity of this issue have nearly dropped my opinion of it to a single star. In all honesty I won’t stop or even limit my use of the app, however I would greatly appreciate if the issue would be fixed in a timely manner.

Fix this.. 1. Ad spam. Obvious issue, unless you pay for premium. 2. Music videos can no longer be played pip, unless you pay for premium. 3. Unskippable ads that last five to fifteen seconds, that follow up with a longer ad just in case you weren't paying attention or can't reach your phone. 4. Youtube's been weird, reseting my videos back to the start of it when I play it in pip, and then refuses to load. 5. Stats for nerds isn't fully accurate, read ahead times aren't always correct and videos refuse to play. 6. Private videos showing up in shorts. If I can't see it, don't show it. 7. Members only videos showing in my regular menu. Same as the last, if I can't see it, don't show it to me. 8. Random videos appearing in my feed. They're completely unrelated, and also only last a few minutes. The videos I prefer to watch are from people I've subscribed to, or videos that are over an hour long. Preferably both. 9. Monetization and content creation is only getting worse with the introduction of demonitizing videos for "unoriginality". Don't use AI moderation to take down AI videos. Do it yourself. That's why you have employees, to do actual work.

If only YT would return to its beginning…. When I first joined YT it had LITTLE if ANY commercials… A great open platform. I left cable TV, I left and found visual uninterrupted peace. They began their purge of beyond competent producers like David Icke and censoring and shadow banning others, too many others. They pushed the lies of Covid-19, the hoax used to cover and distract people from fully learning about Jeffery Epstein and all those connected with his EVIL. A great tool to educate the public and enhance the world is being used to subvert it and steal our individual sovereignty. It’s quite simple to let ALL the cards fall where they may. Stop stacking the decks with misinformation. Something main stream media is too well paid to do. All being paid by the taxpayers. Our government is riddled with bad intentions, demonic intentions. Get the lobbyists and their money out of politics, USE AI to track and punish and delete these Baalians. YT should lead the way. Clean your act up Alphabet Companies. Bring back the Good your public requires. Stop poisoning our air & food, soils & water. Etc etc etc!

The Standard of American Media. Everyone is their own TV channels programmer, others content or your own, contribute comments, interact with other channels, and all with the opportunity of chance of catching eyes, gaining a following and maybe start profiting from a passion or sell ideas, or set a stage of wonder and amazement. The age of “celebrity” died and now there is a niche audience for every persons journey. The only downside is it employs the most disgusting ad and marketing systems on their platforms. Tons of scams, some may be legal but are obviously snake oil. Random hijacking channels with goofy ads rather than setting a standard for when an ad can play and what kind, and for how long. One leaves a video on for their kids next thing there is a 10 minute infomercial about belly fat. If they actually used ethics and embraced what marketing will look like in 5 years rather than take part in a gross kidnapping of consciousness for scams and snake oil.

Lost but now I’m found.. I was at lost of real true identity when I stumbled on here and found out others care more about others, it really made me realize GOD is our neighbors and how we treat everyone and ourselves has an impact on the quality of the world. Views. It’s soooo cool. But there is one thing I would change. When a big content creator posts a video, they get like 1M views, or even more than that! But when me and many other small creators post a video, we get less than 1K. I spent 20 minutes on a geography war and it has like 5 views, and it’s so unfair. People only view the big creators, when small ones are just left out, and they are probably sad. And you can only get a PLAYBUTTON (which I want one) when you get 100k subscribers. But I only have like 620, and it is because my videos never go viral. It’s so not fair. When my videos don’t get atleast 1K views, I just get depressed, and that’s all. Big creators, on the other hand, probably spend 20 minutes like me and get millions of views. And I feel sooooooooo left out, and maybe you do too. I’m sad. Please make it easier to go viral, or give me tips. Worst of all, people sometimes HATE on you if you bag for subscribers, and that is just sad. Small creators just get all the hate, when big ones, on the other hand, get all the love. Make it fair 💔😭😞

I am so annoyed with this app. This is not new this has been going for well over 3 years now. Every time I add videos to my queue and the I go into landscape mode — I finished the video — I go back to portrait mode the entire queue no longer is showing. I can’t access the description box. The only workaround I have figured out is to go back to landscape mode and got this button with three lines and a little triangle and the queue will appear in to the right then I go back to portrait mode then the queue appears. Other times it completely wipes my queue. How is this possible that I could be the only one experiencing this and nobody else is complaining about it that this has not been fixed? This also happens when I get a queue of videos and close the screen and the same thing happens with the queue it disappears. This is so annoying it drives me crazy! Yes I pay for the premium subscription A feature request is when you you have a queue of videos and the app updates or whatever may happen how come on the backend you can’t just cache the links of the videos and then have a pop up appear asking if you want to restore the previous queue?

Watchlist/ Playlist Frustration. When I watch videos from my watchlist, a new playlist (redundant) screen in the player comes up that I am unable to remove the video that I just watched from the watchlist. I have to swipe out of my player, to my watchlist to remove the video that I just watched. But when I do that, I am scrolled to a random location somewhere in the middle of my list where I have to scroll up and down to find the video that I just watched, in order to remove it from the list. I believe this is an issue with any/all playlists. The watchlist used to always have a shortcut on the Home Screen. But now it is dependent on how recently it was accessed. This can be frustrating when you have to scroll all the way down to the ‘W’s in order to find ‘Watchlist’. When saving to a playlist, the order is not alphabetical, but recent. Though that can be beneficial, if you are looking to safe into a play that you haven’t recently saved to, this can be daunting.

If you think this has issues on your phone here’s you should watch on✅. I see lots of issues on reviews on phones but if you reading this computer you could watch on but sometime if you watch on tv it could get annoying because you have to press the buttons on the remote it get annoying a little annoying but I would watch on pc but unless your phone is fine with no issues but a lot of people says they have issues on phone but the tv to type with remote is annoying because it’s really slow but on your computer you can type fast since you have a keyboard (unless you don’t have a computer or laptop) but you don’t have a computer you may have to watch on phone or tv if you don’t have a computer but you do have one you can watch one it I was trying to help btw if you have issues on your phone

Bad reception?. I have had issues with so many different shorts in so many different environments and data connections. The short with possibly okay once or a couple times and freeze, then I’ll have to go past two more shorts just to go back and actually watch the one I started with. Skipping forward a couple seconds doesn’t make it any better as the videos quality tanks entirely. With some content creators, especially Cristian content creators the videos will have the most issues. I don’t know why this is happening, but whatever new AI update implementation they had recently has completely ruined my experience with shorts. Should probably not be watching shorts as much anyways, so if anything I guess it’s helpful in that way. With constant issues like this and other poor viewing experiences, not to mention price, I’m not curious at all why I haven’t renewed premium. Google needs to stop fixing something that isn’t broken, consumers don’t like AI, and there is so many issues coming from AI implementation than any chance AI will fix something. Plain and simple.

Most broken app on my phone. Google has gotten so lazy. And don’t get me started with how broken their ad system is, and how they only care about making that $ and not monitoring what gets advertised on their platform, Really ironic that they get so angry at creators for not being “family friendly” but the ads are way worse and just plain disgusting. Other than that though i am on here daily Edit: wrote this review months ago. Not only have the issues I’ve experienced not gone away, but now there’s even more issues. 5% of the time the Skip ad timer doesn’t count properly and i need to close my video (yes even if its an ad in the middle of the video). Sometimes the video just pauses and doesn’t unpause until you double tap to rewind 10 seconds, only it rewinds about 2 minutes because the video timer stopped working. I have lower end internet and it forces me into 480p even though 720p works just fine, every single video and i need to manually change it to 720p. Its a stupid new system they decided to make to make this already broken app somehow even worse.

User interface. This app constantly changes its gui but somehow always has graphical glitches, for instance in a field where you might access your community hub off your home page it’s supposed to say something along the lines of “Community Hub Access community posts all in one place” I think as in recent memory it has said “Community Hub place” Not to mention other UI issues. For instance, the comment section field will play highlighted comments like a slide show beneath the video for comments placed during or about specific time stamps. I recall tapping on one ‘would’ bring you to the comment so you could read the whole thing (because why would it display the whole comment that would be ridiculous!!1!) or reply, but currently it just opens the comment section and you have to scroll for an unknown amount of time to potentially find the comment you want to read or reply to, which is just a gross waste of time sometimes. If this a bug it happens all the time, if it’s a feature I do not understand how or why it could be considered such.

One random goat kept appearing near the cheese pile for reasons nobody understood. The tribe held an emergency meeting beside the giant soup rock, but it turned into a debate about whether mammoth cheese or goat cheese was superior. In the end, the imposter escaped into the night, someone accidentally sat on the sacred cheese wheel, and the lesbian cavemen celebrated by dancing around the fire until sunrise.

Triggered and nightmares. It just keeps getting worse! Big corporations should be held accountable. It is unacceptable that when an image that is so disturbing that makes my skin crawl and my kids can’t sleep at night is unable to be be hidden by me the user by simply pressing the 3 dots. I don’t want to see puss and infections when I search Minecraft or woodworking. I watch mostly woodworking and tool related content and sometimes watch Minecraft with my kids. I understand that not 100% of content can be caught by you. If you could simply give us the ability to hide disturbing images would make the app experience feel like a safe space not one when I have to start the triggering video to then click on the makers profile then block the user then have to remove it from my watch history. Please make it where I can block from the 3 dots or swiping or something. I would like to feel this is a safe place thanks.

Sometimes Sad. This website is perhaps the most important channel ever created. It represents the best of America and then the world, for everything we as people take pride in. But somewhere along the way it became biased and restrictive to expression and freely being able to share all thoughts. Before you could pick and choose ideas for thought and form your own opinion, and now it decided for you. Life is nothing more than just a space in time where people form amazing lives, share with others. Some good, some bad, we all just individually contribute to life which makes humanity fascinating. Can we restore this great place as it was or do we have accept division, oppression and sadness as the new normal and have to deny free people their throughs and speech which makes us all unique? These places are likes homes to people and nothing is worse than feeling unwanted.

Possible bugs?. Not sure if one these is a bug, but I’ve had some consistent issues with the app, especially recently. 1) Likes are completely gone from every single video, and it is not because of the uploaders’ settings. There is a huge gap in the UI between where the subscription bell is and the likes button in part because of this issue. When the subscription button is there, it looks less odd but the counter for likes is still missing regardless, and has been missing since the most recent update. This may ofc be A/B testing, but it’s very off-putting, as is the fact that the Save button has been relegated to an extended menu instead of being immediately available. 2) This one I’m more sure could be a bug, which is that the app will blackscreen regular videos if I’m watching one but interrupt it by opening a notification for a Shorts video. The original video becomes completely unviewable (only audio plays) unless force quitting and reopening the app.

What I would like to have added back and a issue. First what i would like to have come back is to be able to see how long a livestream has been going on for when it’s live like it used to say started however many hours ago it started moving onto the issue now the issue is in a livestream when I type something and put it in the chat it disappears and also i can only see comments in the livestream chat that were already there before I got there and people do answer including the person live-streaming so even though my comment is invisible it’s there and in order for me to see new comments after I got to the livestream is to go out of it and refresh it every single time i have seen other people say they’re experiencing the same issue I’m having too I hope it gets fixed soon sorry to say soon it’s just very annoying

Ads ads ads. I enjoy YT but the ads are pesty. I have never nor will ever buy from them. They are an obstacle the moment they get in the way of what I came to watch, and so they are completely lost on me. I’m still not sure why some things I come to see are not preceded by an ad, and others are. I do not subscribe to anything and I don’t participate in the social aspects. I never will. The comments are far too abundant to be able to read in a lifetime and everybody has something they want to say, and everybody seems to be a comedian. I imagine there will come a time when the annoyances outweigh the content that I am entertained by, and I will disengage. Until that time, I will wade through the ads, ignore their content and/or go out of my way and even take lengths to avoid patronizing the advertisers. I hope to have the patience to continue to enjoy the content.

You’re app is akin to a narcissistic mother. One star is now too much for you. I used to enjoy Utube but after the virus you had to label every video that doesn’t fit your narrative with some statement as if people didn’t have access to information any other way. Then you demonized several channels with thousands of followers because you want the control of telling people how and what to think. Then channels get lost in the algorithm because you don’t agree with their platform or what they say because it might hurt someone’s feelings. If a channel bothers someone they don’t have to watch it by the way. You took many off of the platform because you can’t handle people viewing any opinions based on actual factual information that is sourced. You make porn so accessible that kids can find it yet you block ideas that are just out of your comfort zone- hypocrite. Now you make everyone agree to disregard their own privacy and give their private information to any source you like because of your new sign in policy. You are a narcissistic app wanting complete power and control of all information.

Flipboard Channel Quality is Slipping. I notice some sites like Wash Post now want you to subscribe and I would rather have it not in my list of things to read. Other channel sites overwhelm you with ads everywhere some pop up as an overlay ad or as an inline ad and force a page reformat while you are reading the content. CNN articles always have this read more button that then reloads the whole article maybe. On my phone it often gets stuck in limbo so I move on to another article or just quit flipboard in frustration. The math channel is cluttered with bike articles that have nothing to do with math. I guess you all expect that mathematicians love to ride bikes more than read about math. Other channels are similarly afflicted with content unrelated to the channel. People want a better reading experience and flipboard is no longer providing that hence the one star. My apologies for the harshness of this review, I like flipboard and the way it presents articles in newspaper format but there has to be a better way to improve article reading without dynamic ad clutter like pop ups or delayed inline ads or pay site articles. Have your app developers really use flipboard themselves and find ways to make a better flipboard 2 or something. As it stands now you will lose folks slowly and they won’t come back.

Tunes about Jesus Christ. I love the fact that I can almost watch any video that comes to mind. I love to watch old WWF wrestling from the late 70’s into and through the 1980’s. Also I watch music videos of all kinds of music videos plus country music videos plus the few that I am in personally in plus featuring the Richard Lynch band live in Nashville Tennessee at the Octoberfest plus the official video of She’s got me drinking again featuring Richard Lynch and Billy Yates. But most important I can watch my video’s of the Swaggart family featuring obviously Jimmy, Donnie, & Gabriel Swaggart. They all preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ by teaching the way of the cross. They preach the plain Bible truth, if you haven’t listened to any of them or the music they put on You Tube you have to listen to them. I am so thankful for their ministry and the fact that you tube plays all of the Swaggart family music and teaching. Thank you Jesus Christ of Nazareth, amen.

Updated review mini player and the absurd amount of ads. I still hate the mini-player, like really hate it. Still have no idea how to install an older version of the app. But that seems impossible anyway. I’m fine with ad before videos. Genuinely. But having mid roll ads that are 45sec+ then 2 more after that is ridiculous.i now have to press “next” then “skip” just to get to the original video I was watching. When pausing a video, an ad pops up and takes up half the screen. It’s the same on mobile too. Many creators, will have a wall of text for missing context. Typically with a short amount of time to read. I pause said video to read. Being dyslexic, I often have to re-read the same text to properly comprehend context. When the ad covers half the screen, I now have to lose the little “x” somewhere. Then pick up where I left off. On the TV app I now have to try and spam pause/unpause before the ad pops up. Then press the back button so I can view the entire screen (I have a Vizio TV, loving Their latest update too). It’s all a bit absurd. I was debating about getting premium. But now they pushed me in the wrong direction. I’ll just install an ad blocker.

the lower banner ads are driving me away. The still image ads placed beneath videos (the ones that are often deceptively designed to look like clickable videos) are almost as frustrating to deal with as all the AI reactors and voiceovers clogging up recommendations. They seem designed to be as easy as possible to miss-click on, because every time I pick up my phone from the bottom while watching a video, I’m whisked away to an ad that I will immediately close because I was never interested in the product in the first place. I get that filling half the screen with clickable ad space is probably making you good money for now, but eventually people are either going to get so sick of it that ad blocker usage will skyrocket, or the advertisers will realize that none of the impressions they’re getting are leading to sales or time spent on their site. Once those good faith advertisers leave, the only people willing to pay for these stupid click magnets are going to be phishing scams and data theft companies, if that’s not who’s buying them already.

Newest Update Made It Frustrating. My main issue is that now, every single video I want to play constantly needs to be reloaded or replayed because of an “unknown error”, usually 3-5 times each video. Weirdly enough, sometimes it happens on a video that didn’t have any ad, but then it will bump into an error while I’m watching, need to be replayed, and then have an advertisement pop up. There’s also increased sensitivity; one accidental “swipe” of the finger from left to right and it will take me one page back, but for some reason, the opposite isn’t a feature. You can only go back a page, but never return to the one you were just on. It’s probably tolerable because it’s on mobile, where a lot of these issues can be pushed through by several taps, but it certainly downgraded my experience. I wouldn’t have updated the app if I knew this came with it, but of course, the previous version of the app didn’t allow you to use it if you didn’t immediately update.

Easy to use and consistent. A great tool for listening material while driving, and since I drive a lot for work, I pay for premium to be able to stream audio with the app minimized so I can use my GPS or keep my phone screen off and save on battery while still being able to listen. You can use the app to create playlists including everything YT has to offer from music to documentaries. I love working on my own channel. The YT app makes it easy to upload and manage the videos I post, making this my most preferred platform for streaming. One down side however was a couple years ago when reaching out to customer service, it was practically impossible. The other downside is that your downloads take up a lot of space *but* you’re able to listen to your downloads through the app whether or not you have service/wifi.

Community Tabs. Overall, this is a great app and I use it a lot instead of the online website. But the thing is, as a mobile user, when I go to a specific channel and try to see their old community posts [only if I have missed a few days of their content and want to see what they’ve been posting. And if you’re gonna think “just scroll down in the subscriptions tab”, no. I have over a hundred subscriptions with some of them posting every minute; I’m not gonna scroll down that far] it doesn’t let me and says that it isn’t available for mobile or something like that. But I can perfectly see the community tabs in the subscriptions tab? But it still doesn’t work since when I try to open up the comment section area or try to click on the message to see the entire thing, it still says the same thing about it ‘not working’, etc. I’m unable to see full community posts because of this, please fix it.

THEY TOOK AWAY MY SEARCH FILTERS give it back.. Google. Why are you TORTURING me with your TOMFOOLERY. I cannot get a single decent search on this website anymore it’s straight up becoming a joke. You look up something you’ll get like two relevant videos first and then IMMEDIATELY FLASHBANGED with a bunch of SLOP that has NO RELATIONNN to what you just looked up. You can’t search for anything without having to scroll for EONS to find something even close to what you’re looking for. It’s pathetic. Then, after all that’s said and done, I try to go to the filters and what do you know THEY STOLE THEM. I can’t even edit my search parameters to find anything recent anymore YOUR SYSTEMS ARE SO INNEFFICIENT ITS GENUINELY OFF PUTTING. I’m crashing out, give it back. Give. It. Back. You don’t say you’ve “fixed some bugs this update” and then go and steal my search filters AND THE BUTTON TO CLICK OFF YOUR SEARCH. YOU TOOK THE ARROW TOO. Now, if I want to get off a search you have to click in the general vicinity of where the arrow USED TO BE. OR. You click the X they put in place of WHERE MY SEARCH FILTERS ONCE WERE THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Not to mention that goofy ahh SLIDE FEATURE THATS BEEN ADDED. I cannot even scroll down for infinity to find something semi good to watch without accidentally sliding off my search, A PROBLEM THAT WAS ONCE NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED AN ISSUE. Stop “adding new features” and then making your app WORSE. It’s infuriating, it’s insufferable, and above all it’s AWFUL FOR YOUR BUSINESS how can you think these are good implementations?? There’s a point where you HAD a good website, and there’s a point where you need to stop DIGGING THE HOLE YOUVE CARVED OUT OF IT DEEPER. Genuinely disgusting return my search features immediately.

This app gets worse by the year. I remember the days where I could scroll endlessly, with new content seemingly infinite. Now, there’s an actual end, to the point where you can’t scroll anymore. I believe those times were referred to as “YouTube’s Golden Age”. Not to mention, the algorithm will reload the same stale videos over and over again. Even if already viewed. However, by far the most rage inducing thing this pathetic company has started doing is the ADS. More and more of them. Dare I say I miss the times when it was just 15sec unskippable. Now you have to sit through TWO of them, or more. If you’re on a TV forget about it. You’re better off with actual TV at that point. Also, the thumbnails. You could view them with a mute, and the option to fast forward to wherever place in the video desired. Now, it only works half the time. Instead it’ll select the video and throw an ad at you. Same with the mute feature. At first you can mute and unmute the thumbnail. After awhile it’ll just click the video and throw a stupid ad at you. This app needs to go extinct if it doesn’t improve, and only us the users can actually change that. I DESPISE YouTube’s business practices, and so should you.

New Picture in Picture is horrific. This new update where the Picture in Picture moved from the bottom bar to a floating window is so bad. The pause button is two taps away instead of one, moving it around is super janky and you can’t move it a second time until the animation is done playing which you need to do a lot because half the time it doesn’t go where you want it to. And all of this to make the picture bigger when it’s minimized? The whole point is to make it small so I can browse other things, and if I want it full screen again I can just tap it or swipe up. The X is also so easy to accidentally tap when it’s minimized on the new version that I’ve closed many videos while trying to bring them back up. Please revert back or at least make both options available because I understand that some people may want a larger Picture in Picture so they can browse most of the time, but this is incredibly frustrating for me and many other people who don’t use the app the same way as the target audience of this update.

So many problems. The loading times can be pretty awful. Whenever I switch to a different tab or turn off my phone and play the video I was currently watching, the video takes sooo long to load when I unpause it. This doesn’t occur when I’m using the app and I don’t get why it happens when the app is running in the background. I understand why ads are a thing and this hasn’t been a problem before but now it feels like overkill. Every time I watch a video an ad pops up. Sometimes they’re 15 non-skippable ads and at its worst there’s two. And look, taking away the comments for videos that have been COPPA’d is one thing and removing the mini player is another. It makes no sense. I don’t get how this would be harmful for kids. And the way you decided what videos are for kids is awful. Some of creators have moved on from their channels so when you automatically decide their videos are for kids it removes a whole decade of comment sections. And I hate how I have to worry about my niece stumbling upon two anime girls talking about sex because you automatically decided all animation is for kids.

Criminally irresponsible app. I pay because this app was at one time educational. Now the algorithm cannot differentiate between outright lies and hyperbole created for views and clicks vs those who are credible within the field and genre they are representing. There are no checks and balances on “educational” material and it’s creating a class of dangerous fools who watch these outright lies from people with no education and no credibility who are pulling things out of their imaginations and teaching those things as facts. Young people are being raised on this garbage and framing their world view around baseless conspiracies and fake history lessons teaching aliens built the pyramids or that Sumerian writings talk about aliens etc. if I’m watching for education my algorithm begins dominating my feed with all these idiotic false historical claims when I just wanted to watch actual history coming from creators who make it entertaining to watch. When will the claims made in these videos be reviewed for accuracy and moved into an algorithm the viewer actually desires? It’s been maybe a decade now since these algorithms were even close to mediocre and now they are just terrible…and dangerously irresponsible as it’s become a misinformation. propaganda app.

USED to be a 5 .... As much as I have loved You pTube over the years, as a parent with kids who wanteD to make videos here sooo badly & were finally prepared with the correct equipment to do it right... They go & shut off comments for kids videos. I have thought of the pros/cons MANY times! Of course I want nothing more than our children to have a safe, fun, friendly environment to create/share content! Honestly, I am sooo disappointed in YouTubes approach to negative/inappropriate comments! I feel it is a lazy approach ...NOT a fix! Making it to where kids cannot have comments is AWFUL! There are sooo many other options! Parents should be able to decide if their child is allowed to have a comments section. You can require the parent(s) to link their account to their child’s & sign an agreement promising to monitor it... You can have an option to enable or not... and let the parent decide and manage their child’s content. In the real world, you cannot just “turn comments off”... as people become more popular, there will be mean people with mean things to say. Taking the experience for fans, piers, family, positivity, to be spread...takes away confidence and encouragement that is much needed to influence the child to continue to flourish and stay motivated! I honestly, cannot even see kids wanting to continue posting videos if they cannot hear from their audience! It is like talking to yourself... feedback is a healthy process we all have to learn and weed through in order to learn from our mistakes, grow and flourish! Also, comments are how YouTuber’s learn to tweak their content.. What viewers like or do not like... sharing info... connecting with others...&parents see exactly what conversations are being had! All this is going to do, is have kids find a new place to create and enjoy the experience of actually interacting with others...especially during Co-Vid!

Good, but not great, and maybe for good reason. - My only qualm with this platform is that when one tries to find very a specific videos on specific instruction on how to do something, there are videos, but too many that by the time I get to one that works, two things generally happen from what I’ve observed. ONE: You have already lost a lot of time just looking, and TWO: at the end of the supposed video you needed has a likely chance of not giving you what you wanted. So it’s great because of the infinite resources, but if only there was a quicker way to find YOUR perfect needle in the hay stack. BUT I understand that there is also an equally infinite amount of technical material to the platform, some involving legal circumstances, like that fine-line between the platform and those generous benefactors known as YouTubers who control almost as much in terms of content, as the platform does in the entirety. So I know the process in improving the service is on-going. Hence why I feel it’s good, but not great.

Fairly new addition. I signed up few months ago so I’m still learning how to use everything. I usually watch on my tv so I never see any links in corners or description and I would like to interact w the couple creators I am a big fan of. I was gifted a month membership to aquarium coop in feb and then kg aquatics in march. I feel lucky and noticed I don’t know if that is correct way of thinking about it. One thing I will say I don’t like is the constant reminder that I am not a member (I won’t be after this month ). I’m not a member to anyone’s and the reason is I am trying to support myself and my young daughter along with my 17 yo niece I live on 60$ a week it’s very stressful talking about money. I want you tube to be something that doesn’t relate to my stress in life. It makes me sad I can’t be a member bc I know I won’t even be able to communicate and get seen and a response

New Save Feature is HORRIBLE! Bring back the old one!. I use this app literally every single day and have it running almost 24/7. I use the "save" function *A LOT*. Normally it lets you save a video to multiple playlists at a time with checkboxes — well, the last update changed that. Gone are the checkboxes and multiple select, now it's the Facebook-esque bookmark icon instead, and can only save 1 at a time. Also just as bad, you used to be able to save a whole queue at once to a playlist. Now that doesn't work and gives you an error. All of this is so terrible it's literally affecting my desire to use this thing. I hate it so much. I literally just stopped watching to post this review because I was so mad. Plus it's also really ugly now. They made the text far bigger than it was and it just looks clunky now. All around a horrible decision and implementation. Please YouTube/Google, PLEASE bring back the normal save style we've had for years and years. I don't understand this at all. No one has ever complained about the original style, so WHY break what wasn't broken?!

Some problems. First off, I love this app. It’s easy to use and a great time-killer; but there is some problems that are annoying. First off, I hate the fact that you get forced to sit through 20 second ads without skipping, every five minutes. And it’s always the same as for me, and I’ve heard that the creators did this on PURPOSE to literally force people to use the Premium edition. Second off, there isn’t a ad timer on my phone that is like “Ads is 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…” but instead the ad just comes out of nowhere. Lastly, there is a weird bug that it something like a PC isn’t updated or the app isn’t correctly updated, Restricted Mode is stuck on and I can’t turn it off saying it’s enforced by an “administrator” and I don’t have an administrator. I hate giving bad reviews, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Please fix these I love this app just there is a few things I don’t like.

A great app, but I have come across a few issues.. I have loved this app for years, but recently I have encountered a few issues over the past few months, and they are the reason I am currently giving it three stars. The first issue is that once I save a video to a playlist, although it does say “saved to playlist,” I can no longer exit that window. There is no clear way to close it unless I completely shut down the app. There may be a button present that my screen reader is not detecting, and if that is the case, I would greatly appreciate it being properly labeled or made accessible. As things are now, I can only add one video to a playlist before having to close and reopen the app, which is frustrating, especially since I was previously able to add a video to multiple playlists without any issue. The second issue is that I am no longer able to read video descriptions. There is what appears to be an unlabeled element, and when I interact with it, it behaves like a text box rather than displaying the actual description. In the past, I was able to access and read descriptions without difficulty, but that no longer seems to be the case. I would truly appreciate it if these accessibility issues could be addressed, as I am certain I am not the only blind user experiencing them. Once these concerns are resolved, I would be more than happy to update my rating to five stars again. Many blessings to you.

Ridiculous Advertisements. It’s honestly sad how unusable this platform has become. I get ads generate revenue but 40 second 60 second ads that can’t be skipped with the excuse of fewer ad breaks just to keep getting advertisements. If I skip to a different part of a video and still get a 60 second ad what’s the point. They’re just money hungry at this point. Double ads that you have to skip? It’s taking away from the experience. I’m not sitting around watching a video for two hours. So if I skip to a further point why are the ads still so long? U can’t even watch 5 minutes without getting either 3 ads or just an excessively long ad. U start video? Ad. Skip to another point? Ad. I wanna watch videos not advertisements. It’s genuinely just become unenjoyable to the point i’d rather just watch something else. Don’t let being so money hungry take away from the part of the app that actually makes it entertaining, the videos. I feel like I’m watching more advertisements than videos now. Please change it back or at least not make so ridiculous with the money grabbing tactics

Updated review. Update: some old problems disappeared. But now sometimes when adding to a playlist some items do not appear. But they do appear when using a web browser and not the app They should list known bugs and what is fixed in the new version. I am afraid to upgrade since this upgrade made things worse. I upgraded” but now I cannot post a comment. I get the circle icon. The post does work sporadically I can no longer sort comments I can not easily switch to sign in another channel When saving to a playlist, it saves to the second ones listed. That is almost always wrong. Need to sort the playlists when saving. I have 193 playlists on one of my channels. 125 on another Need an option to sort playlists on channels where I am not signed in. I configure my playlists surname comma given name. I can sort and it makes a tremendous difference. When reading comments, need a way to block or censor all posts by a user. facebook has that. Makes it civilized.

Use this everyday and love it but…. I love this app. I have a channel with a couple subs, videos and everything. I use it everyday. I have a suggestion though. It is that mindplayer is kept on even for videos set for kids. Many videos are set for kids and not only enjoyed by kids. It gets really annoying when I’m watching a video set for kids, I go to my recommended and it isn’t playing. Please change this. I also a bug I would love fixed. I also use YT shorts daily. Some of the shorts decide not to load sometimes. I have to scroll up to the previous one and go back for it to work, it’s really annoying. Sometimes it also just doesn’t load at all and I have to skip watching it. (It’s not my Wi-Fi that’s causing this problem). One more suggestion I have is pls add 1.10 playback speed. Please take my suggestions into consideration. Thanks, Adi, a person who loves YT and uses it daily.
