YT has NOT improved with age. Love the concept & the content; HATE the platform! As YT has gotten more popular, it has gotten SO much worse! First, ads are out of control! As another said, I understand that a company must make money, but seriously? Ads are forced upon creators even when they do not wish to monetize & the amount of ads are ridiculous! We, the viewers, are bombarded with many more ads than TV uses. And the ads are for things in which I have ZERO interest (hint: STOP with the weight loss ads!). You can also eliminate any ad over 1 minute! If I want to know THAT much about anything, I’ll search for a video! Sadly, it has become all about the $. Now for the serious stuff (as opposed to the merely annoying). Creators must suffer with having their videos highjacked by ads AND stalkers! SO many creators have had death threats & stalking IRL & many other serious issues & YT does nothing! They do not take this seriously. And big tech doesn’t make it easy to find out how to complain directly to them about anything. They hide in plain sight. It’s such a shame that there really isn’t a viable alternative…yet. Remember that YT: yet.

Flipboard Channel Quality is Slipping. I notice some sites like Wash Post now want you to subscribe and I would rather have it not in my list of things to read. Other channel sites overwhelm you with ads everywhere some pop up as an overlay ad or as an inline ad and force a page reformat while you are reading the content. CNN articles always have this read more button that then reloads the whole article maybe. On my phone it often gets stuck in limbo so I move on to another article or just quit flipboard in frustration. The math channel is cluttered with bike articles that have nothing to do with math. I guess you all expect that mathematicians love to ride bikes more than read about math. Other channels are similarly afflicted with content unrelated to the channel. People want a better reading experience and flipboard is no longer providing that hence the one star. My apologies for the harshness of this review, I like flipboard and the way it presents articles in newspaper format but there has to be a better way to improve article reading without dynamic ad clutter like pop ups or delayed inline ads or pay site articles. Have your app developers really use flipboard themselves and find ways to make a better flipboard 2 or something. As it stands now you will lose folks slowly and they won’t come back.

Dislike feature. The recent removal of the feature allowing viewers to longer have the option to see the dislike count of a video lowers the overall quality of the app. This feature was supposedly meant to prevent creators from beings the victim of targeted harassment which is not a problem in the community whatsoever. The videos that would receive a ratio of more dislikes than likes most likely receives the dislikes due to the fact the videos are most frequently misleading, hateful, or display another feature of a video that should not be watched nor is it worth watching. YouTube’s removal of this feature now prevents users from determining the overall quality of the content they wouldn’t have to view had they been able to initially view the count for dislikes. Furthermore, the amount of likes on a video should also no longer be viewable by the audience due to the fact that this increases the chance of an audience member to like a video regardless of their true opinion. Overall YouTube’s recent decision making has been on a level that no company should be proud of.

Ads. They push quite literal porn ads for adult mobile games, often using footage for something else entirely to pretend it’s not adult content, and then demonetize any creator who says anything outside of their radical left leaning biased. I get so many targeted ads for alcohol based on my age and location and have NO way to shut those down, and I can’t even use their support page, as I am greeted with an error saying I am not authorized to view that page. As someone who deals with drinking problems, and autism that’s forced me to stop playing games with predatory monetizing in place, seeing these ads constantly really does impact me in a negative way. Including the GTA Online ones of their Diamond Casino adverts of come in to spin the wheel for a chance to win a new car. I only bother to watch on my iPhone, and I don’t like being harassed to buying Premium just to NOT be bombarded with ads promoting gambling, alcohol abuse, and the adult mobile titles. I get they are targeted toward my age, but seeing beer adverts at 4 am is entirely out of line.

You Tube is Really Great. I have watched how to diagnose what is wrong with your washing machine and fix it yourself and save money. Need an oil change on you car what ever you drive someone on you tube will show you how to do you car. I installed new flooring like tile in my kitchen laminate flooring in the rest of our home , new kitchen cabinets. I garden guess where I go to learn what I need to know. That’s right You Tube! Think of most any song within reason and you can most likely find it on (yelp you guessed it) You Tube. I missed my FL Gators ball game I can watch a rerun on You Tube. You felling a little down and need a laugh to pick you up? Well You Tube to the rescue. You Tube is nice enough to let you have your own videos posted on your own You Tube Station. Well believe me I could talk a long time about You Tube but you get the idea “You Tube is really Great.” You Tube Thank You. ( Oh I fixed my computer more than once using You Tube)

Watchlist/ Playlist Frustration. When I watch videos from my watchlist, a new playlist (redundant) screen in the player comes up that I am unable to remove the video that I just watched from the watchlist. I have to swipe out of my player, to my watchlist to remove the video that I just watched. But when I do that, I am scrolled to a random location somewhere in the middle of my list where I have to scroll up and down to find the video that I just watched, in order to remove it from the list. I believe this is an issue with any/all playlists. The watchlist used to always have a shortcut on the Home Screen. But now it is dependent on how recently it was accessed. This can be frustrating when you have to scroll all the way down to the ‘W’s in order to find ‘Watchlist’. When saving to a playlist, the order is not alphabetical, but recent. Though that can be beneficial, if you are looking to safe into a play that you haven’t recently saved to, this can be daunting.

Good enough.. I love this app Pip starts when you leave, I can find my favorite YouTubers, and they removed the number of dislikes? Come on. I dislike. Problems and enjoy the app. I do enjoy going on here to watch videos from some of my idols or just random things. However it is nice to not have an account signed in so it can keep track of my watched videos while adding some similar to it. I am a bit frustrated and angry with this app by allowing people to post shorts. Yes I understand that people want to showcase some little mini clips sort of like TikTok and Instagram feels. However they are annoying and gross on my app. I do not want to see people popping random things from blisters to warts to whatever else. It clearly makes me want to vomit or not watch another video. Could you please prevent people from doing that or allow an option for non-account people to permanently disabled the shorts on their feed. I hate seeing them when they were never on my feed before and I keep trying to get rid of them but you won’t give me option too besides report.

Very difficult to find contact. This application is organized in someway that I have yet to figure out. I go to look for shows like 90 day fiancé pillow talk and instead of them being within the season they are under a separate category called something else and there’s no episode number so I have to go back and look at the name of the episode I just watched go back to the other show information and then scroll through about eight different seasons of pillow talk until I can find the show I’m looking for. Sometimes they show commercials even though you’ve recorded the show what should I supposed to do and so if you go to watch five episodes or something it’s literally the same commercials over and over and over and over again. There’s no way to fast forward even though you’ve already seen these commercials at least 15 times. As a sidenote I would never ever go and purchase from one of these commercial companies that I’ve had to sit there and watch the commercial 100 times. Also the iPad app is significantly different than the TV app the TV app freezes it Hass to be restarted at least once a day

So many problems. The loading times can be pretty awful. Whenever I switch to a different tab or turn off my phone and play the video I was currently watching, the video takes sooo long to load when I unpause it. This doesn’t occur when I’m using the app and I don’t get why it happens when the app is running in the background. I understand why ads are a thing and this hasn’t been a problem before but now it feels like overkill. Every time I watch a video an ad pops up. Sometimes they’re 15 non-skippable ads and at its worst there’s two. And look, taking away the comments for videos that have been COPPA’d is one thing and removing the mini player is another. It makes no sense. I don’t get how this would be harmful for kids. And the way you decided what videos are for kids is awful. Some of creators have moved on from their channels so when you automatically decide their videos are for kids it removes a whole decade of comment sections. And I hate how I have to worry about my niece stumbling upon two anime girls talking about sex because you automatically decided all animation is for kids.

At least the ban hammer is collecting dust!! 3rd. How come video games get demonetized?! But not werido stuff! Yall know what I’m talking about. 4th. The cyber bulling. HA. I guess is worse then crime in the streets. I don’t under stand that. But here we are. 5th. The unity in the culture Strong with the Force. If We get churches and politics. To unite. WOOOOOOOO!! Channel list... For the past week i have been trying to get help with my list of channels that i am subscribed to. I stream through a roku device to my tv plus i have the you tube app on my iphone. On my iphone the whole list is there, from A to Z and everything in between, but on my tv anything after P is missing, when i look at the channel list on my phone, there is a line after the last one that shows on my TV. Almost like it is showing me on my phone where the list ends on my tv if that makes any sense. Anyway the ones that call themselves helping me with this issue haven’t helped at all, and are very short and hateful with me, after speaking with 3 people with attitudes i got kind of frustrated and decided to leave it alone, but the channels i mainly watch are the ones that are missing from my dang list. They said something like i have changed my settings or something and i have never touched the settings. I have updated on my TV and my phone and still have the same problem, anyone else having this issue?

Disappointment. You Tube has become just a format for the grandkids to watch, cute kitty videos and how to make DIY slime. The real stuff, people posting videos backed up with statements, video, and bonafide articles, basically truth, are banned while you allow heads being chopped off, inaccurate information (proved inaccurate) and falsified information to continue to be posted. Your “terms of conditions” is obviously politically motivated, unjust and one-sided. You view your watchers as idiots, unable to sort thru the muck of fact or fiction and be able to think for themselves. As you continue to be a politically biased flat form, I would advise you to get a good grip on what your viewer’s opinions are as the tides are turning and people are getting tired of good people being banned while you promote a very incongruous platform. I gave you 2 stars because the grandkids really like to watch Myna birds talking to each other.

UI was better before and now as of 2022 the ads literally make things nearly unwatchable. The video quality itself isn’t the problem lately but it’s the changes to the comment section and recommended videos that I just can’t get behind. For me, and many others a big part of the experience is being able to look at comments and easily jump between other’s reactions and thoughts on the video, along with easily being able to jump between time stamps listed in the comments and the video. Now, it’s far too easy to overlook the comments altogether since they tend to blend in with the description or even get overlooked as part of an ad. It’s also ridiculously easy once you’ve clicked to look at replies to a comment to exit out of them completely since the X just closes them all instead of that specific comment, which makes it all supremely annoying to navigate. It would be good to give the option to toggle back to a “classic” view at least, since it isn’t only the comments, but also the recommended videos that are troublesome to look through as well. Really, have they never hear of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”?

Lots of problems but I still like it. First of all, many people are saying the same problem but every time I upload a video and say no it’s not made for kids it keeps saying that the comments are turned off all of my videos that I’ve made is turned off comments. Next, every time I wanna watch a video(well not every time but at least once a day) when I’m watching a video and I am like in the middle of it (it Has to be a long video though) it just goes to the next video when it’s not the end. And the last problem, when I first watch a video then add it to my liked videos or my Watch later One day later the video goes blurry but the editor didn’t edit it after and I am logged into the same account on different devices and it still does that on the same video. All these problems I don’t know what’s causing it. I hope you can fix it. Thanks for reading

UTube rating. My number 1 amount of viewing. Great series especially British. Do wish they stayed current and put in Series 1- ?? And programs. Call the midwife has been on for yrs in Britain. We don’t have all. Also Dr Martin, same with midsummer murders. So wish bodyguard went on . Love to watch the Royal family, I’m a transplanted Canadian, with a very British Mom. Love the music and video of concerts. I find Gary Barlow concerts and Take That really zippy and upbeat. Loved Boyzone, westlife. I could go on and on. The life with malamutes, Shepa, Penny the cat are a doze of fun. Shepa shows the beautiful British countryside. Oh my, escape to the country, is stunning. What great adverts for Britain. Enough, PS , I’m 74 and housebound much of the time. I found all music because 3 yrs ago Christmas my son suggested I watch/ listen to Last Christmas video. It brought back such good memories of Christmas in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, Canada. From there other British music and Michael McIntre such fun, Miranda. Oh my I’m rattling. Money hungry. I used to have left a review rating this application as well corporations either four or five stars, now I rate it three stars due to how careless the company has become after Google took control and was managing it for some time, the content on it isn’t the problem and aren’t concerning but it’s the amount of advertisement that the viewers who doesn’t have a subscription on the platform gets, which is typically a totally of around eight or nine ads per video that’s two, three minutes or more, the advertisements are shippable but are tiring for when you have your device such as a phone, tablet, or other laying around playing your videos while you’re busy multitasking such as folding clothes, doing physically exercise, or what I commonly struggle with the most, having snacks or meals while your hands and fingers aren’t sanitary or clean to press on the skip option.

To you. I will do this when I'm not frustrated and can actually see a light at the end of the tunnel that shows me the light at the end of the tunnel and can feel the warmth and hope shining through to encourages me to hang onto the hope that leads me on to the path that leads me on to the path that I need to take take to believe in me and my family to hold on and support each other to keep the faith and support to believe not only in each other and to hold on to each other to continue to have the strength to support each other and to support your family from here to eternity knowing that the strength of your love will carry your love forever and make your love stronger and stronger and bless you all and never let go of the love needed. It is your strength to carry you through all of life's trials and tribulations for all of time and thereafter. Believe in your love and affection and hold on and believe in your love which binds you through all of life! I pray you get this message!

Why change the 3 dots button????. I would use this ALL the time to state if a video is not interesting or if I want to save for later. Now it is super small and you have to hold it down for that same menu to come up, turning an action that used to take no time at all into a frustrating and time consuming experience. If you tap on the three dots it just plays the video, what sense does that make if I’m trying to access the menu. This change happened without me even updating the app itself. Please change this back, there was no reason to do that. Also when a video finishes playing the next recommended videos pop up on the bottom of the screen making it hard to access the full screen button, so when I am trying to go in or out of full screen I almost always inadvertently press another video and then have to go all the way back out to get to what I was watching. Does anyone actually test these “features” before they are pushed out? ETA I just updated the app on my iPad and now the search doesn’t work, this is like a horrible joke. Rollback this update I can’t find anything useful about it.

Please take pic-in-pic feature back! The new location of comments does not make sense on iPads. I use YT app everyday. I noticed that the pic-in-pic feature is always on and off. I has been stable in the past several weeks, but then after the most recent update, it disappeared again…very disappointing… Also, I’m not very impressed with the new location of comments on the iPad version. Originally, you could easily skim through comments on the left side of bottom while skim through recommended videos on the right side. With the new location, you will need to click unnecessary extra times to open the comments and then close it before you can get back to the recommended videos. Given the typical screen size of iPads, the whole left side of bottom has been wasted (and users end up wasting time clicking more times…). I could see why the comments moved on iPhones (because of smaller screens), but I find that such a same “adaption” on iPad is a total useless deadweight loss. I would rather stay with the old version…

Fairly new addition. I signed up few months ago so I’m still learning how to use everything. I usually watch on my tv so I never see any links in corners or description and I would like to interact w the couple creators I am a big fan of. I was gifted a month membership to aquarium coop in feb and then kg aquatics in march. I feel lucky and noticed I don’t know if that is correct way of thinking about it. One thing I will say I don’t like is the constant reminder that I am not a member (I won’t be after this month ). I’m not a member to anyone’s and the reason is I am trying to support myself and my young daughter along with my 17 yo niece I live on 60$ a week it’s very stressful talking about money. I want you tube to be something that doesn’t relate to my stress in life. It makes me sad I can’t be a member bc I know I won’t even be able to communicate and get seen and a response

Fair. I really don’t like being pestered into a subscription. And commercials or ads are now political can you remove them. I see so many political ads it makes me sick. Everyone of them is just so anti-Trump how about showing the advantages of having them in office and what they would do with their time in office. Like I want to hear how they would take care of our Communities and Country. And honestly it would really be nice to hear some ideas about their plans on what is really important like feeding our homeless winter is approaching and I just want to be able to see benefits of voting for them not more of that anti-Trump crap, it is getting old and it seems like all that is done anymore. Isn’t there more to USA then bashing Trump and his Administration. Show car Commercials plug some you tubers channel that may be of similar genre or subject. Can’t go wrong with food ads.

Own it. Hate that I never watch leftist garbage and suggested videos have CNN, ABC, CBS, CNBC, NBC, New York Times, Bloomberg, The Post, Wall Street Journal, National Review, Time, Washington Post, Huffington, The Economist, USA Today, Black Lives Matter, et cetera as the posters! You Tube, Google, Twitter, Facebook definitely sensor stuff I prefer and over control ones I do want to watch, have to subscribe just to find what I prefer to watch and get word of mouth recommendations. Am looking for alternate choices that don’t manipulate as an agenda. Be sure that I share my opinion on this with everyone I know. I used to get on Facebook and Google more frequently but I am finding more unbiased places to go, you’re next if this keeps up, especially lying that you aren’t biased and manipulative. The only thing keeping me on is the good ones I’m subscribed to. Hope you’ll actually read this and give a hoot.

Alright, but flawed in fundamental ways. The iOS app constantly forgets the actively playing background video when I lock the screen, and even if it appears on the lock screen to pause/play, trying to start and stop it via Bluetooth headphone burins also constantly fails and instead starts playback of something random from my Music app. This apparently will never be fixed? Not being able to listen to video from my locked phone without paying a bunch of money monthly is rubbish and just eats up battery life. Also, when I swipe a video down and then go to close it, get rid of that stupid bounce animation that moves it if I had just liked a video. That animation makes me miss the X close button due to it moving around and getting bumped by other notifications. Make the other notifications come up above the video at the bottom and not move the playing video minimized strip, and make it instantly move to the bottom predictably so I don’t miss the close button and re-maximize it.

I come for the creators.. At this point, the only reason I am here is due to the content creators. The absolute atrocity that has become this medium of entertainment is beyond appalling. The sheer quantity of ads, upon ads, upon unskippable ads has left me to the point where I am WILLINGLY taking longer than five seconds to avoid any unskippable ad. I will close the app, stop the video, go back through my watched history, report them, I no longer care. Your insufferable need for money is disgusting. If one of the world's most wealthy monopolies can’t bring for better service after buying out this site, then you all have failed as people of the world. Your greed, evidentially, knows no bounds and proves that there is no low you won't go. Including removing dislike counters to cater to a few individuals that should not have any bearing on the overall usage of this, but the mass's outcry towards the increasing number of advertisements goes unheard. Or, it’s heard and disregarded. Regardless of what the answer is, you have failed. If a new source can bring all of my creators to one place in a more streamlined fashion, I will gladly delete my account from this site and never return.

Great app!!! Read this for honest reviews!. I have been a YouTuber for 8 months now. The copyright thing is pretty annoying tho. I have had a channel for like I said, 8 months. However, I have been watching yt for over 2 years. Ads are getting ridiculous and wayyyy too long. Also, you should be able to have the community tab under 500 subs! I have 250 and I rlly want the community tab!!!!! I just updated yt and I’m hoping that the bugs will be fixed. There have been bugs and issues with both uploading videos and watching videos. I’m hoping that this update will help. Also, 17+?!?!?!? There are 7 year olds on here! It should be at least 9+!!!! Other than that, it’s an amazing app and is one of the most popular social media apps out there! Btw I liked the update of not being able to see the dislike button. It honestly makes ppl feel a lot better about the videos :) 4 starts! Thx for everything!I hope u take the time to read this! Thx for an amazing app! ✌️🤪❤️

Amazing App. Used it for over a decade, great performance, customizability, and over all a great video sharing app. Everything is simple to use, their recommendation algorithm is accurate, and can bring immense nostalgia in some places. You can discover new music, hobbies, video games, etc. that you never would have even tried doing. Watch people do crazy things you never imagined were possible. Very produced (unlike TikTok, no offense). And you can easily find your group of people/community that watch and like the same things as you. Crazy good app, 100% will recommend to anybody. Literally my only 1 problem with it is that you can’t see the amount of dislikes. Say there is a tutorial video on how to do something, and if you can’t see the ratio from likes to dislikes you don’t know if it actually works in advance. But putting that minor inconvenience aside, crazy good app and I plan to use it for as long as it still exists.

Most broken app on my phone. Google has gotten so lazy. And don’t get me started with how broken their ad system is, and how they only care about making that $ and not monitoring what gets advertised on their platform, Really ironic that they get so angry at creators for not being “family friendly” but the ads are way worse and just plain disgusting. Other than that though i am on here daily Edit: wrote this review months ago. Not only have the issues I’ve experienced not gone away, but now there’s even more issues. 5% of the time the Skip ad timer doesn’t count properly and i need to close my video (yes even if its an ad in the middle of the video). Sometimes the video just pauses and doesn’t unpause until you double tap to rewind 10 seconds, only it rewinds about 2 minutes because the video timer stopped working. I have lower end internet and it forces me into 480p even though 720p works just fine, every single video and i need to manually change it to 720p. Its a stupid new system they decided to make to make this already broken app somehow even worse.

Nice, but “queue” option needs work and improvement…. First, I’m on mobile and when I try to queue more than 2 videos it just replaces whatever the second video in queue is, I have to do a whole song and dance just to add more videos. Secondly there should be “add to queue” button not just “play next in queue” and “play last in queue” sometimes I want my videos to play a certain way or in a certain order, by selecting either option I still have to rearrange it later. Also, clearing the queue doesn’t do anything, if I click on “clear queue” the queue is still there and the videos are still listed sometimes even doubling the videos. Then there’s the problem sometimes with videos either duplicating themselves when you rearrange the list or add to the queue. Lastly, make it so that at the end of your queued video list instead of stopping or repeating, have it automatically play another video like it does when you finish watching a video.

Television. How did the United States turn black over night in Joe Biden’s World. And why is every black man have a pretty white woman. How do so many so called black or people of color, whiter than my whole family. My people come from a country that Hitler invaded. They came on boats and had to go through the immigration procedure through Ellis Island. Why is Joe bringing all of these lowlife immigrants, thieves, killers, drug dealers human traffickers, and letting them in our country and giving them prepaid debit cards? And pass GO & collect $$$$, free everything just get your skid marked shorts on this side of the border. Newest Update Made It Frustrating. My main issue is that now, every single video I want to play constantly needs to be reloaded or replayed because of an “unknown error”, usually 3-5 times each video. Weirdly enough, sometimes it happens on a video that didn’t have any ad, but then it will bump into an error while I’m watching, need to be replayed, and then have an advertisement pop up. There’s also increased sensitivity; one accidental “swipe” of the finger from left to right and it will take me one page back, but for some reason, the opposite isn’t a feature. You can only go back a page, but never return to the one you were just on. It’s probably tolerable because it’s on mobile, where a lot of these issues can be pushed through by several taps, but it certainly downgraded my experience. I wouldn’t have updated the app if I knew this came with it, but of course, the previous version of the app didn’t allow you to use it if you didn’t immediately update.

Too close to the sun. While I have to respect the relentlessness with which ütube pursues it’s mission of connecting eyeballs and advertisers, they seem to be under the impression there’s no viable alternative, and have started acting like the monopoly they aren’t. I might have been literally yelling but I put up with thirty seconds of the most obnoxious advertising known to man for a two minute clip I wanted to see, but the mini ads (that are only half as mini when you include the buffering time) every forty five seconds had me deleting the app. I did redownload it to access some of the features they’ve removed from the web version, but it’s less time than it took to download I had to delete it again. The content library is still an almost insurmountable advantage, but that’s literally the only thing ütube has left. And a marginally slicker interface I guess, but so not worth all the ways it makes me furious. It’s also straight impossible to fall asleep to a movie that’s being interrupted every few minutes to listen to the smuggest woman ever say “kayak” fifteen times in a row.

Some problems. First off, I love this app. It’s easy to use and a great time-killer; but there is some problems that are annoying. First off, I hate the fact that you get forced to sit through 20 second ads without skipping, every five minutes. And it’s always the same as for me, and I’ve heard that the creators did this on PURPOSE to literally force people to use the Premium edition. Second off, there isn’t a ad timer on my phone that is like “Ads is 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…” but instead the ad just comes out of nowhere. Lastly, there is a weird bug that it something like a PC isn’t updated or the app isn’t correctly updated, Restricted Mode is stuck on and I can’t turn it off saying it’s enforced by an “administrator” and I don’t have an administrator. I hate giving bad reviews, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Please fix these I love this app just there is a few things I don’t like.

Small but frustrating issue. Beginning to get frustrated with this app. I’ve used the mobile version of the app almost daily for years, and only recently began having this issue, but it happens so frequently now my patience is wearing very thin. I’ve used the iPhone 15 Pro for the last six months and only within the last 2-3 weeks has the problem shown. About 9/10 times I use the app comments on videos won’t show. It’ll show the name of the people who have already commented but it won’t show their comments. So I can’t contribute or even just read other’s thoughts and opinions. And about 1/2 the time it won’t even allow me to add a comment. Double and triple checked I do use the most up to date version of the application. Up until now I’ve given a 5 star rating but the frequency and severity of this issue have nearly dropped my opinion of it to a single star. In all honesty I won’t stop or even limit my use of the app, however I would greatly appreciate if the issue would be fixed in a timely manner.

You’re app is akin to a narcissistic mother. One star is now too much for you. I used to enjoy Utube but after the virus you had to label every video that doesn’t fit your narrative with some statement as if people didn’t have access to information any other way. Then you demonized several channels with thousands of followers because you want the control of telling people how and what to think. Then channels get lost in the algorithm because you don’t agree with their platform or what they say because it might hurt someone’s feelings. If a channel bothers someone they don’t have to watch it by the way. You took many off of the platform because you can’t handle people viewing any opinions based on actual factual information that is sourced. You make porn so accessible that kids can find it yet you block ideas that are just out of your comfort zone- hypocrite. Now you make everyone agree to disregard their own privacy and give their private information to any source you like because of your new sign in policy. You are a narcissistic app wanting complete power and control of all information.

You mean You be ridiculous going down the Tubes.. Let’s see you block content on constitutionally protected and legal activity. Run a racket where no can know let alone comply with the rules, use this as way to bilk content makers out of money and run them off the platform. At the same time I sent in multiple complaints on an ad targeting kids to discover their sexuality that I blocked multiple times but it keeps popping up! You will take a 2 minute video and stick 5-10 minutes of ads on it. And btw a 45 min to upwards of 4 hour content is not an ad … it a video so stop sticking them to someone else’s content. The minute the channels I watch convert to a new platform I will be more than happy to let the wokies pay your bills, which hint hint they don’t believe in paying you capitalistic pigs money for content! I sincerely hope some other billionaire will buy your propaganda machine out and straighten it or you go belly up!

Comment Likes no longer go up. Fix it!. It took a while of seemingly endless update loops but the app finally finished an update. So far, some issues seem to be addressed, such as an active video in the lower right obscuring the ability to tap the 3 dots to the right of some videos at the end of long lists, such as Watch Later history and so on. Upon further review, the Videos tab on every channel is blank, regardless of how you sort. That’s a MAJOR bug. [Edit: They have since fixed this, so I’ll bump up the rating.] I like having the new ability to view replies to my comments on other videos without interrupting watching an unrelated video. I also like the addition of ¾ and 1¾ speed multipliers on videos. Unfortunately some videos now get paused when moved to the lower right corner, though this behavior is inconsistent. Also I’ve seen delays on comments in live streams going as far as nine (9!) minutes with only a few hundred or so people in chat. Also I have my fonts magnified due to poor vision, and for some reason, bold text in comments on videos is unusually small. So with the forced update, some things improved, and some didn’t. Update 10/26: This app routinely removes my likes on comments shortly afterward. I remove the like and re-like it, and the counter is fixed, then it decrements. It is so obvious when I’m the only one who liked someone’s comment, only to see the number "1" vanish shortly afterward. Fix your app!

Why You Tube Is Important. It is amazing how much You Tubers and their podcasts are helping to bring change in our society I am learning so much about Demography Geography, Finance, History from people who really know what they are talking about. It has helped me to understand where we are as a country and as s people. I’m born and bred A United States American. I also am better understanding the personalities of other countries. Yes, each country has its own unique cultural characteristics and personalities, as do we. I am a boomer. There are also talented folks. Layla the boxer is just a kick in the pants. I find myself laughing out loud at some of the cute skits. Ssmantha, I think that’s her name is very creative and she is good with her pets. That little girl puts Hollywood to shame. People from all over the world love to watch her dogs. There is stupid to. You Tube also attracts people who are in love with themselves. And like to show themselves off. I figure that kind off silly self involved behavior will die off as people get more sophisticated. Hope I helped

Bad next-up/auto play suggestions, not personalized. Suggested songs can be irrelevant to insulting to the songs I chose to listen to. The next-up song generated are often the same song I’m already listening to but by a different uploader. The next-up songs are often not the same genre or mood, but more just the same time period but chart toppers. When I scroll to see auto play suggestions, auto play stops, so no music plays until I scroll back up. When I download songs, they can be deleted by the uploader and I won’t even know which song it was. And the most annoying - when I see a song that is “next up” in autoplay, and I click “not interested “ for that song, I’m notified it won’t show up anymore, it disappears, and then autoplay plays that song right after. Also, if I search a song I’ve searched before, the search still puts songs by the same name first (often contemporary songs by more contemporary artists), but the song I’ve actually clicked on and played, further down the list.

Premium Customer - Not for much longer - Bias Censorship. YT is among the big tech that has been known to censor free speech for a long time;however, the algorithm changes and biased decisions on what can/cannot be said ultimately may lead me to no longer being a premium member or casual viewer. It’s so excessive lately. I’m constantly hitting “do not recommend this channel” and deleting content that is sexual in nature that gets recommended over time. This is disgusting because I know this is happening to kids. I don’t believe YT is looking out for safety with these things in mind. YT has no problem keeping up content that is hateful to people of certain color or woman in general, this is wrong. Look at the bud light controversy. Customers understand the impact of putting their money where their mouth is and I hope the YT overlords note the lesson’s learned from this or they will find themselves in the same position and become obsolete. Twitter is on its way to becoming the everything app where streaming can be done without the headache of navigating the inconsistent and ambiguous “guidelines” YT applies to only certain groups of people.

Bug issues. YT has always been very reliable but the past couple of updates have caused a lot of bugs. I have no doubt they’ll be fixed but it is frustrating. The biggest issue is audio playing but no video on previews. I also just had an issue where the screen locked sideways but only half the screen and I had to close the app to get it oriented correctly. After I closed the app, audio from the video continued to play for a few seconds. Also, there is a LOT of scam ads. Ads using AI generated celebrity voice audio and then pairing it with a video that clearly doesn’t match up to what’s being said. I’ve reported them but the only way to stop them is for YT to step in. I understand that that’s not going to happen because they’re paying for ad time, but it’s very sketchy. I will update my review when the bug issues are resolved. Fingers crossed…

What the-. Everything is just fine, except for a few details, this may just be for me, I don't know. I am unable to watch certain videos because restricted mode is on, I assure you I checked and turned it off on multiple occasions. The other thing is that when I search for a video to watch, instead of the video showing up, I see movies, ads, channels, and other completely unrelated things to my search. This makes no sense to me, I have never had a problem with this in the past, and it has started happening fairly recently. I have checked here in the app store, maybe to update it, but I can't. I am confused about why this is happening to me, and if possible if you could fix this. If anyone else has had trouble with this, and knows how to fix this, please let me know. By the way, this is my first time making a review, it seems a little formal (Not really).

Community Tabs. Overall, this is a great app and I use it a lot instead of the online website. But the thing is, as a mobile user, when I go to a specific channel and try to see their old community posts [only if I have missed a few days of their content and want to see what they’ve been posting. And if you’re gonna think “just scroll down in the subscriptions tab”, no. I have over a hundred subscriptions with some of them posting every minute; I’m not gonna scroll down that far] it doesn’t let me and says that it isn’t available for mobile or something like that. But I can perfectly see the community tabs in the subscriptions tab? But it still doesn’t work since when I try to open up the comment section area or try to click on the message to see the entire thing, it still says the same thing about it ‘not working’, etc. I’m unable to see full community posts because of this, please fix it.

Good app but advertisement overload. I understand the need for advertisements but it’s to the point now that it’s negatively impacting my experience. Now that there’s two, back to back ads in every break it’s irritating how much I have to interact with the app just to finish watching the video. The more I use the app the worse the experience gets. I usually like to use the app while doing other things like cooking or cleaning. I mostly listen and don’t always have my phone in hand. In an 11 minute video with 6 ads, the middle break had a 30 second unskippable ad followed by a 2 minute ad that was skippable. Unless I am physically on my phone to return to the video that would be 2:30 minutes of ads just for 1 of 3 ad breaks in an 11 minute video. It’s overload. I get that using the free version means you gets ads but it’s overshadowing the content. I don’t want to interact this much with something I’m watching. It’s not a game app. Guess I’ll just stick to watching it on the desktop with my ad blocker. Otherwise, yeah YT is ok. They’re just getting into Pandora territory which is disappointing. Didn’t mind the ads until recently.

Watch Later. Watch later playlists now only load 20 videos even if I use a different sort by function. If I use oldest or newest, only 20 videos show up. If I switch to manual, I only have access to those 20 videos. Every other playlist seems fine. This is one update annoyance. Furthermore, you moved the subscriptions to the 4th button from the left after years of it being in the center. I am tired of having to close the creator / record / upload screen after naturally choosing to click the center most button, WHERE YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN ALL ALONG. we got used to the comments even tho the UI within comments is garbage, and now you do this. Do you like making the app worse or are you just messing with us at this point. At best I could argue that it improves RAM and cache usage due to not loading everything unless demanded. A good idea done with poor execution is still a poor idea.

Use this everyday and love it but…. I love this app. I have a channel with a couple subs, videos and everything. I use it everyday. I have a suggestion though. It is that mindplayer is kept on even for videos set for kids. Many videos are set for kids and not only enjoyed by kids. It gets really annoying when I’m watching a video set for kids, I go to my recommended and it isn’t playing. Please change this. I also a bug I would love fixed. I also use YT shorts daily. Some of the shorts decide not to load sometimes. I have to scroll up to the previous one and go back for it to work, it’s really annoying. Sometimes it also just doesn’t load at all and I have to skip watching it. (It’s not my Wi-Fi that’s causing this problem). One more suggestion I have is pls add 1.10 playback speed. Not user-friendly. I think the app Is really good, I use it every day but there are some features that drive me nuts. The one feature I hate the most but I wish there was an option to turn off the feature where on your home page or subscribed channels and some others, on where it shows the Picture of a video before you select it, if you let it sit there for a couple seconds it starts playing the video on the Area where the pictures is. I might seem overdramatic but that feature drives me out of my mind, I just wanted to where I can see the picture and if it says some thing on there I can read it and not have to worry about it starting the video on me, I just wish there was a option to turn that off. one other thing I would prefer there to be is more options as in When something is added to the app and you don’t like then it would be nice if there was a way to turn it off instead of being forced to have it. Other wise I think the app is pretty good just a little more user-friendly would be great thanks.

Current version change. Auto update changed it so I can’t access my notifications as easily, not a good change I always use my notifications to make sure I watch the creators I like. Please fix. The notifications used to be in the main bar down the bottom, now a small icon at the top which means you can’t switch between notifications, subscriptions and recommended quickly (no one uses trending so you can put that up in the no man’s land at the top). Seems like an attack on creators, why make everyone ring the stupid bell if you’re not even going to prioritise the notifications menu. Seriously guys please fix it.

Goodness gracious this thing is a god🥰😍😇. First of all im just going to say how much i love this app...from watching my favourite content creators to simple tips and tricks the community provides this app is my second to go to google. And the subscription part: 😘. Being able to follow the people you like and be alerted when they upload is really useful. One thing i recon could be improved is the fact that when you watching a video and then refresh the app the video your watching refreshes too meaning you have to repeatedly set the video to the right time over and over again. I dont know if there is any way to fix this but i would still highly recommend this app. 😤

Great app but I have 2 requests please. Everything is exceptional..in next update please return sorting the videos of the channel from ‘oldest to newest’. It used to be an option, now only there is sorting by ‘popular’ & ‘recently uploaded’. The oldest to newest is very useful if I’m watching a channel teaching specific software for example. It’s like a course and you need to start from tutorial 1. Currently I have to select ‘recently updated’ then I scroll all the way down every time I open the channel. This is time consuming because sometimes the YouTuber has hundreds of videos. Also it’ll be great if ‘watched’ word appears next to the videos I already watched. Thanks heaps

Too many glitches.. Personally I love this app. But there is too many glitches no matter what there’s always a glitch. I’ll name three of the worst glitches I’ve encountered. Number 1. When I close a ad that’s on the recommended videos and I zoom in I can’t even pause or exit full screen I have to turn off my iPad and the sound keeps playing even when it is off this has happened two times. Number 2. The screen sometimes glitches by making it smaller and black screens on the side where the comment section and recommend videos should be, this has happened a million times to me. (a lot) number 3. When I’m typing a comment and typed some I don’t wanna post the comment so I end up press the keyboard down button but the bar is still there I have to press the top right of the screen for it to go away. This has been my review and I’ve given it 3 stars please fix all these glitches.

ALL Hallmark movies. I love all the Hallmark movies but every single one has something wrong with it. The sound cuts out at a crucial point in EVERY movie, at least once. They are often blurry or misplaced frame, or the ending is cut off and the movie is often different to what the title says it is going to be. I know the membership fee isn’t very expensive but I work really hard for my money and I do not think it is unreasonable to expect you to give something in return for the money you are earning - what we pay for. In anticipation of a correction of this matter I thank you for consideration of mine and I’m sure other people’s concerns. 😊

3 major issues. 1. On iPhone X’s, the options button next to each and every video doesn’t line up with what the GUI is showing, the 3 vertical dots are not in the correct place you have to press below the button to make it function, otherwise it just loads the video which is incredibly frustrating. 2. Screen tap glitch, video’s will bring up the pause/fast forward screen without making contact with the screen. Another frustrating issue. 3. When in full screen the shrink button is incredibly small and difficult to accurately press, similar issue to the 3 vertical dots (save to watch later button)

This Is Great For Entertainment And Audio But.... Personally, if you are recording a video and want audio, people are nice enough to post audiobooks and music on here as videos. There is also extremely high deleknis, meaning this is available on all apps. You can also watch streams, which means you can talk with other friends, strangers and peers, also meaning the person running the stream is doing that exactly now! But, one thing I don’t like and would like to be added, is how everything is non-exclusive to PC’s, Desktop’s, And etc. But not, IPad, IPhone And IPods. Like adding channel banners, great for Computers, but not possible for IOS such and such. Thank you for reading, and please fix this.

This app is good. Overall a very fantastic app with some annoying glitches. I will say one of the thing is the comment. I love a video , so I comment to share my feelings and to support the video. But when I try to type the comments, the ads come in and interrupt my typing. Fine, you can say it is how ads work, interruption is normal, but after ads, can the app bring me back to where I am interrupted. I have to scroll down all the way back to comment and start again, which is very annoying. Same things happened when I try to read some interesting comment, when the ads come in, I have to start over from the 1st comment. Please consider .

This app is great but... This app is great! Connecting through society and watching others do what you love to do! Although, there is this particular glitch that happened to me a couple of times, it’s when I watch a video and the time bar glitches out rapidly, going to the start and to my point of the video. Also, there is another glitch where I go to skip the ad but it keeps rapidly switching to “skip ad” and “video will play after ad”. And the last experience I had was when u had been in the middle of a video and I went to skip it but it put me back at the start of the video again. If you could fix this, I would be really happy!

Very bad bug but otherwise is great. This app is great except there is a very annoying bug that I have come across multiple times. Occasionally when I’m watching a video, my device doesn’t recognise my touch on the screen. Strangely, the only thing that does recognise my touch is the video. Not the comments and not the suggested area, just the video. Even more annoying is I can’t close the app when this happens or change the volume. In fact I can’t even turn off my device. I simply have to wait it out and then my device automatically restarts but instead of shutting down, it sends me to my lock screen. I hope that you get a chance to fix it when you can! If this device-breaking bug wasn’t present, I would of given 5 stars.

it’s ok but…. It’s ok but there’s way too many sexual stuff and no one likes it,pls ban them and please get rid of the adverts. There is kids watching this and they see sexual stuff, lots of kids mention they’re a kid, whenever i see weird stuff I look into the comments and sometimes I see “your sexy”, “🥵😏🍑🍆” or anything like that so pleaseeee get rid of it this says or 12+ but really it should be for like idk somthing like 19+ although. There is some really cute couples and PG age channels like pink shirt couple nick&Carrie and loads more so they’re absolutely fine but I can’t say the same for all the sexual channels so please find them and delete them. Copyright claim needs to be free just by giving credit to the owner of the music and the song. So new update idea copyright claim can be avoided by having an option to just give Credit to the owner and the creator instead of buying stuff but still give support to the creator it’s just annoying like copyright has to stop but stay at the same time like just crediting the creators would be better then buying premium or getting permission but just crediting them would be better and adding a permission track from the option when credit to them they send a permission to it from their end so it’s easier please make this happen because some of us don’t have enough money to get permission credit it would be better if credit to the creator was added as an option instead of copyright strike/claims for just giving credit

Problem. Edit: think it’s fixed now somehow?? This is of course a great app but there’s one glitch that’s only appeared for me in the most recent update to do with comment replies. When I look at the comments on a video and click on “view replies” it works fine, but if I try scrolling down to view more replies to that comment it glitches out and goes to the next comment instead of just scrolling down to view other replies to the original comment. Sometimes (mainly on shorter comments with one or two replies) if I try clicking the x to take me back to viewing all the comments, it just gives me the option to report the comment for some reason, then I have to go back to home, subscriptions or trending or whatever to click on another video to get out of that, or exit the app. So yeah could something please be done about this? Thanks

Review. You Tube saves my life every day, so thank you. It is all I have, so no Facebook etc. I liked being able to see my whole viewing history easily and which of the sub videos I’ve already seen. I save longer ones to watch later just by going over them then going back. But. Oh I can’t seem to go scrolling back through the list. I often want a playlist. But not on auto play. I like to turn on a show and go to sleep then it shuts off straight away. Sometimes the shows are only on the playlist. I’d like to be able to see the whole thing and maybe select the number of shows to play in a row before closing off. Like maybe up to six things and not a whole big lot? I hate the commercial content being hidden in shows like with Mr Ballin, or that Simon bloke. Good shows must cost to make, so they get sponsors. I don’t want the “good” shows then. Use another platform. I like no ads so much I’d prefer regular people make stuff to post rather than professionals who want to live off of it. Thanks for asking.

Really unhappy with the double 15 sec ads!. Wth is with suddenly double-barrelling 15 sec ads? The start ads of every monetised video seem to now be all 2 x 15’s with no chance to skip. Really not happy, particularly since the number of ads per video also seems to be increasing. If only your advertisers knew that we’re more likely to watch a 5 sec ad & look away from the 15’s until they’re done. Also sick of being bombarded with the same ads over & over & over. Also unhappy that people who deliberately insult, abuse people with absolute torrents of foul language, harass & antagonise people, all under the guise of being “First Amendment auditors” seem to have absolutely no checks on them unless the video contains actual violence. Reporting their videos does nothing. They still continue to abuse people for no legitimate reason in the most vile way, screaming abuse at them for sometimes 20-30 mins or more out of their video, yet somehow this doesn’t violate community standards?

The new update on automatically quality options. Now the quality is always at high settings and I have to change it to the lowest quality every time afterwards I watch a video, before you can just choose your quality and it will keep itself for the next video and when I’m driving I usually listen too music and set the quality to lowest so I can saved up data but now I can’t even listened music without have to go back to quality options which is dangerous when I’m driving and have to clicked the option every time a new music I listen with out it being a high HD 720p60 and I did go to the options and choose the data saver but it will only saved 360p and not 144p or minimum 240p so I can save up data.

Dislike button. I’d like for the dislike button to be removed, it is extremely degrading and hurtful to quite a lot of people. It’s upsetting to see so many dislikes on a video, and very harmful. I don’t have an account myself, but I know that it’s hard to see someone didn’t like your video, and therefor I would like if it was removed. Other then that, I do enjoy this app, with all those lovely and kind YouTubers that I watch, and they’ve certainly entertained me during the pandemic. All that I would like changed is the dislike button, and make it like certain social media apps, where you cannot dislike what others have posted. It’s not kind and will make the person feel down because they’ve worked so hard on something.

Been years and they still can’t fix the bugs. Every time the adds play they are seriously louder then the content being watched, to the point where if I don’t have the mute controller in hand for when the ads come on, I can’t watch anything on this app at night as people living with me might wake up. You tube has know of this issue for years, and they still won’t fix it, all they do is try to add longer and longer ad segments at high volume. It’s gone from any add being longer then 5 seconds can be skipped, to the ad must be over 30 seconds to have a skip option, and now they play up to 3 random ads, meaning you could have 3x 15 seconds of ads or 45 seconds with no ability to skip the ads. So now when ads come on I simply mute it, walk away and make a tea or do swim thing else, and if I’m not back in time, I rewind to where I was. It can be quite annoying when you have time constraints to watch something and have to be delayed by 2 lots of 3x15 second ads. They simply don’t care about non subscribers and put out a lack lustre product. If another company starts doing what you tube does, I’m jumping ship.

Bad update?. For about the last year the app has been getting a lot of updates trying to fix some the ‘bugs’ they call it. The app use to work very well, but recently works very poorly with cromecast and others, not connecting and dropping connection every time you use it. If compared to Netflix app which connects every time and doesn’t drop out. The queue randomly closing before your eyes never to be seen again, needing a app restart but then you may need to find a way to connect it again as your cromecast isn’t on the list yet again. Great app, too many bugs. Getting difficult to use :(

It very impressed at all !. For starters you tube offered me a free trial and after a month they say my payments were around 12 dollars but then they billed me and the bill me more all the time ? I just cannot be bothered ; surely they small printed somewhere that they could increase the price after they entice you with a cheap deal ! I think is now 16 or 17 dollars My Netflix only cost me ten dollars and thousands of movies and tv programs that if you want to watch on yout tube ? Arrgghh bugs!!!!. Great app, I actually prefer this to the desktop website. But bugs. Full screen is almost completely unusable. Sometimes in portrait mode the bottom bar from the home screen will show up and the video will be really laggy, and in landscape mode the video will sometimes be stuck in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. I also can’t exit full screen mode, the button doesn’t work and the swipe gesture doesn’t work either. Also when I was trying to exit full screen the app crashed. I am on the newest version as well so I don’t know why it is doing this. This is really annoying because I really like watching videos in full screen.

Great app! Adding videos to a playlist while viewing makes categorising messy.. Great app, can get a little busy of screen, but that’s because of all the functionality. There is an issue with adding a video with the +Playlist button while watching a video and it adding it to the most recently edited playlist, but when you press and pick a different playlist, the video isn’t removed from the initially edited playlist. So many of my playlists have videos meant for other playlists. It makes categorising videos I watch over and over very messy and tedious. It’s a quick fix and would make the experience heaps better!

The app just freezes after launching. After launching, the Home tab is selected and the shimmering loading placeholder is shown. The shimmer is shown for 1 second. This app, so far, works nothing other than that. Tapping any controls doesn’t interact the app. The app just stuck. The worst part is that reinstalling doesn’t really solve the bug. For sure, reinstalling restores the app temporarily. But the app again stuck few days after. Reinstalling is quite painful anyway because there are lots of settings stored in the app itself and they are removed by that operation. I’d never experienced this problem until this month. Probably the recent updates are just poor quality. Please improve your QA team.

If you tube was bad, it would most probably be in an improvement. Too many ad not just too many ads, but what the ads are sport and betting neither of which I do, or I’m interested in then there’s the things that aren’t even in English which is the only language I know for some reason now it’s promoting baby products including nappies which I don’t have or I’m not one of Anne in the past promoted make up I’m a man which does not take part in utilisation of make up and then is the recommendations for some reason, it is currently hooked on rain and thunderstorms the recommendations have gone so far downhill that they’re on the other side of the fricking planet. Did I mention of fricking adverts we all have one every 30 seconds and even if you say don’t recommend it it’s still hell does it doesn’t actually care

Great but there is an occurring bug.. This app is a great app and I use it all the time, but there is one constant bug which hasn’t seemed to be fixed yet. This bug is the “ error while loading tap to retry” bug. No matter what I do or how many guides I follow, I can’t seem to get this to stop happening or reduce it. I have kept this app up to date with every update and uninstalled and reinstalled it but this glitch will not go away. It stop you from commenting, looking at the description, looking at recommended videos on the side, the only thing you can do is watch the video. And if you are watching a stream, you cannot speak in the chat and this bug seems very common using streams.

Too many ads. To be honest this app runs well, it’s smart and sufficient. But the amount of ads absolutely crazy, it makes me not even want to go on the app because I know that whatever I am watching will be interrupted by multiple ads, up to 20 ads. Some as they don’t let you skip because they’re only 30 seconds long, I think it should give you the option to skip all the ads. And why would you even think of putting two ads back to back let alone and two minute ad on a video. Half the time I’ve never near my device to press pause and play and I let it run, I am then forced to listen to the ad. I think it’s absolutely silly all at should be removed or at least go back to how they used to be where it was like one add per video.. not happy

Very good app but…. It’s an extremely good app but they should really take out the dislike button because it might make people depressed because they have put there hard work into it and it has loads of dislikes and the worst thing is it randomly added restricted mode on and I cant watch anything anymore because I’m usually just sad and some stuff I watch makes me very happy and it has all turned age restricted and it won’t let me turn it off because it say my administrator has turned it on I don’t have an administrator???

Great app, but it has a few problems. I really like this app and watching my favourite creators create quality content. But WHY remove the dislike button? This button provided users to determine if the creator was worthy. AND also now the creator can no longer get feedback on how many dislikes they have! And BRING BACK THE OLD COMMENT SECTION I find it irritating that I can no longer scroll down easily as I used to! Also, There is way to much creepy images and content on this app, I ask you to PLEASE look after your app a little bit more. Finally,please limit the amount of 15 and 30 second adds as I find them extremely annoying. Overall it is a really addictive and great app, but please take my advice.

Works ok but I have one gripe. Why do the majority of apps not work completely in landscape mode? I fully understand why portrait mode is considered the default. But what I’m curious to know is how much work would it be to make an app able to be used completely in landscape similar to how web browsers do? The app that annoys me the most in this regard is YouTube’s mobile app. Would be useful to keep it in landscape like after watching a video. Like if I’m watching a video or two in bed it’s annoying to have to keep switching between portrait and landscape just to select a new video or to write a comment. Why not remove the restriction and let people use the app in ways that best suits how they wanna use it. Web browser apps have been doing this for over a decade why can’t more apps do this? It’s annoying

Problem with downloads. I had close to 150 downloads of songs I like to listen to and now all of them have un downloaded on their own and it won’t let Me download anything, it keeps telling me to delete downloads to clear up space but it had already deleted everything that I downloaded so there is nothing more to delete. It would also be good if we could change the order in downloads instead of it just being from oldest to newest added. This has been extremely frustrating and I don’t know how to fix it

A lot of glitches. Whenever I watch a video from a landscape and tap on a notification bar and go on other apps, when I come back, it would stay landscape, and nothing would let it come back to a portrait mode, not even switch videos from sliding up to see the suggested video. I tried locking and unlocking my phone from rotation, the exit full screen in the bottom corner didn’t work. Talking of switching videos, my phone would start playing the up next video in middle of my current video. I was mostly in the landscape mode, and I wasn’t even touching the scree. I realized this when I had just finished a 6 second ad, and it started playing another ad right after(a little sus). But this would happen randomly as long as I am watching the video. These glitches are really annoying and I hope you that guys patch them soon.

Sub count annoyance. THIS APP IS EXTREMELY GREAT! But there’s one thing that just bugs me and i’m hoping u can remove this feature because it ruins some things for content creators trying to make subscriber specials. This problem is the rounded sub count, when a content creator (like me) wants to make a sub special they usually go onto a live sub counter and show them reaching it no u can’t do it, it just doesn’t feel as good. Also when you’re trying to study a bigger YouTuber you can’t (accurately) this really annoys me and i am begging u to remove this feature. Now I understand u removed it for a good reason it’s just bugging me soooo much. Thank u for your time and your app :)

Good, but glitchy... Why is this not fixed yet? It’s been like a year... Basically when you comment while the video is playing it’ll randomly glitch up but not letting you pause video or delete what you typed in the box. Look, just have it fixed once and for all, it’s really embarrassing that I have to use to safari version -.- and annoying. Sometimes the screen is frozen but the video keeps playing. It’s annoying that I have to close it and open it twice sometimes. I’m surprised this isn’t fixed yet so please get onto it now so it can work beautifully. Also cannot find options to pay for advertising my content so... yeah.

A good service, but.... This is a good service platform for music, topical discussions and videos of kittens. However, there are several problems with the whole. First is the tendency of the algorithms to spew forth recommendations based on what could only be American consumer behaviour, which sensible humans do not adhere to. Secondly, while it is a good thing to have a reasonably open forum for expression of ideas and discussion, the tendency of the operators to cow-tow to the demands of the extreme left, the so called woke, leaves little left of open debate and discussion when the threat of censorious overreaction is all too likely. The operators need to maintain a neutral aspect in their curation of material.

Bring back the dislike count!. You have harmed the educational community by removing the dislike count from videos. How are people supposed to efficiently filter out good educational content without it? You have made it that I can only look at videos of well known creators that I know produce good content, leaving the little guys out of the picture. How is a new creator supposed to make it big if I won’t even bother looking at his/her content because I don’t know whether they make good content or not. Guess what? If I see a few of their videos with high like count ratio, I am going to keep watching them, subscribe and share their page, supporting their journey. What you’ve done has really devalued your platform and I only wish that someone else comes and monopolises the market you currently dominate! Not only because of this but more so of the facade you put to the public claiming it is for the “well-being” of creators! You’re liars and deceitful! If I could give this a negative star rating I would!

Needs work. Especially downloads and offline viewing.. I pay for premium subscription in order to download content to watch/listen offline and have it continue to play in background while the screen is off on my mobile device. I am also frequently in and out of mobile and wifi coverage. This app could really benefit from remembering where you were up to in downloaded videos. It frequently loses position when you come back to the app and you have to manually find where you were up to again. Also downloading content is very unreliable. Even if perfect coverage it just hangs and does not download, or gets to a certain percentage and stops. Doesn’t matter if it is a wifi or mobile connection. It is very hard and unreliable to restart or continue the download at a later time. I must say I expected a lot better and more refined experience for software from this stable - especially seeing how many million people are using it. It’s tedious and annoying.

Subscriber Bug. So I have about 12 channels (yes I know that’s a lot) but that’s not the point, I subscribed to one of my channels with all my other channels. So there should be at leased 10 subscribers on there, right? Well that was the case 2 days ago until I checked the subscriber count on that channel and it said “no subscribers” and I was like: well I’ve heard of a bug that unsubs you from a channel, so that probably happened. But I check on all of my channels and, get this, THEY ARE ALL SUBSCRIBED TO THE CHANNEL! How is that possible? To have over 10 accounts subscribed to your channel but have no subscribers?! Please fix this, I have a channel very close to monetisation and I really don’t want this to set me from hundreds of subscribers back to 0. So as I just said, please fix this bug.

Best music video app. Few suggestions: playlist should include thumbnail when shared-not just link…, option to post video as “made for kids” should have warning that doing so will bring restrictions on video and the option should be stated more clearly eg- “video ESPECIALLY made for kids” -people seem to misunderstand “made for kids” to mean SUITABLE for kids…, and thanks for the increased flexibility with editing playlists 🙏 also need options to merge/delete/move to folder…, and clips option should allow us to make a clip of up to 10 minutes so that it will be possible to clip a song from a live program 🙏🙏thanks

Squish THIS bug!. I upload videos and recently I just uploaded a new one. But when I uploaded it I realised it was set to private, I set it to public but when I was done it still said private. I tried again. It didn’t work. so I reuploaded it and made sure I set it to public before it was uploaded. It still said private, I set it to public for the fourth time and it still didn’t work but then from the corner of my eye I saw something pop up from the bottom of the screen. It said something about an error when trying to save me setting the video to public. I tried setting it to public twice more but it still didn’t work and that’s what brought me here.

Not a bad forum, lots of interesting content, could be more interesting content if the values of free speech were actually adhered to though & Google actually cared that freedom of speech we all love Uncle Sam for. Also, I don’t mind ads- it helps pay for the service & system…… however the # of ads is becoming a bit of a joke. Far too many, far too frequent & ads such as gambling & promoting unhealthy foods/services/delivery are really in bad taste. Great boredom buster. I think it’s a great app to go on when your bored! So many videos to suit your mood and current hobbies, it rlly helps cure your boredom! And you can make all kinds of videos to get tons of likes and views, and there’s really everything in there. Roblox, unboxing videos, heck there’s even Peppa pig videos if ur into that stuff! 😂 great app, would recommend! Terrible update. My app was working great until I updated yesterday and now it’s freezing every time I try to use it. The audio continues to play but the video is frozen. Then when I try to get out of it it won’t even shut down, I have to close my phone down and then double click to shut down the app. When I restart it it immediately freezes again. I tried to watch a different video and when I opened it up it was playing the audio of the new clip but still had the frozen picture of the last clip. Please fix! I use this app so often I’ll start having withdrawals soon.

So bad. The new autoplay feature is so ridiculous, I can't even hover on the home page anymore because videos I have no interest in & didn't actually watch go into my history ?? The amount of ads is disgusting. Not to mention the algorithm when you search for videos is stupid. I can barely find new content because once I scroll for a while I end up in a loop of the same content over and over and they're usually the bigger channels. And then months later I finally come accross videos or channels that would've been perfect at the time but never showed up. So frustrating. Also there is currently no permanent 1080p autoplay. You can only select a "higher quality" option which is 720p and then you have to manually go into advanced settings on every single video if you want the highest quality. Literally makes no sense

I suffer from mental health issues such as depression and if it wasn’t for you tube music where all & every song note is ready & waiting at your fingertips my days would be filled with pain & sorrow it truly gets me through the day. I put my favourite rap song on & get into it nice & loud and forget my day to day problems, it’s the best medication for my depression & anxiety . Every movie line & documentary ,comedy or tv shows old or new . Just everything & all of it is available through your network at your fingertips. Only three stars, please fix. I would give this a five star rating because it is actually a great app, the only problem I have with it is the verifying that you’re over 18, you have to take a photo of your passport, ID or debit/credit card. I have trust issues, and this info is personal, I don’t feel comfortable sharing this information to yous especially if I have no idea what’s going to happen with my info, you have to be 17+ to download this app, so why do we have to verify that we’re over 18 if we’ve verified that we’re over 17. It would be understanding if the age was 12+ to have that 18+ verification, but since it’s 17, there’s no excuse, if we’re 17, that’s old enough. I just don’t like the way yous put the verification by us giving you our private information. Do better please

522GW. I have had mine now for probably close to six maybe seven years it is the best Camera that I’ve ever had. I had no issues with installation. I bought the cabin camera also and then the rear camera wish I was able to install myself in my UV. If your patient enough to do it just take your time and there’s plenty of court. My question see you guys were I would like to access both the cabin camera and the rear camera at the same time I think somewhere I read you said that was available is this correct or not again I have posted it is the best camera I’ve ever had Tasmania Australia

Useful update for creators. As a creator myself I think that I speak for a lot of people is that when we get likes and subscribers that instead of just piling that notification underneath bunches of others that you put it at the top in their own little section, also including when seemingly small creators get something like 100 views and so on, obviously use the same algorithm for the part that you use for the current notifs where the newest ones go to the top, it would be a lot easier for us all if their was some sort of organisation in the notification section of the app

The adds are killing the product. More and more ads are destroying the once great Youtube site.

I sold all my shares.. YouTube is all ads, I’m uninstalling and using any other service. A 30 second “survey” just popped up. That was the final straw. I think YouTube has become a disgrace and is the flagship of everything that is wrong with the internet. I never write reviews but I’m making an exception for this giant load of bull. I’ve been with YouTube a long time and have sold all my shares. Many ventures become monopolies like this but then get cocky and profit hungry to justify wild valuations and push all their users away to more friendly services.

The most recent update where when your watching a video and pull up on the bottom to view more videos, and you can’t click the screen to go back to the video is really dumb and annoying. You now need to either reslide down or click the x way in the corner. This is very inconvenient. I would like it to be changed back.

Horrible bugs for content creators and chanels. Youtube has a less than favorable system when it comes to regulating views, likes, dislikes and comments. It’s not very helpful for content creators and can create confusion as well as setbacks for updates and videos. This doesn’t seem dramatic, until it deletes 10M+ views on a certain videos, and then prevents subscribers and viewers from seeing it. Fix this problem as soon as you can.

Phone goes on sleeping mode while watching a video on YouTube. Since I installed this update my phone goes on sleeping mode even while i'am watching a video on YouTube. Which is really annoying..in the past as long as the YouTube video is on playing the phone doesn't go on sleeping mode. Don't know what modification you've made. Please fix that ASAP.

Please fix this bug!. I love YouTube, Its my most used app on my phone, it's. A great app and super helpful and entertaining. However, lately my YouTube recommendations have been really weird. The app keeps recommending content I don't watch and am not interested in such as sports videos, wildlife videos, random music video's, gaming video's, etc. And I barley get recommended any videos that I'm actually interested in. I have tried everything to reset my YouTube recommendations to show content that I actually like. Because of this, i am only going to rate it 4 stars. If you could please fix this bug as soon as posing or at least look into it, that would be great

New update messed it up.. The app keeps crashing on me now and when I try to read reply’s to comments my screen freezes but the audio to the video will still play. Also sometimes I’ll go full screen into a video and it won’t let me leave full screen. Please fix this.

Comment section update. The new Comment section update is absolutely bad and uncomfortable. Many people see the comment after watch the video, but that bew comment is so hard to see all the comments and terrible.

They run ads intended to lie to consumers.. They now allow ads that lie, for example one just has a big “YOUR PHONE IS INFECTED, SCAN NOW”. Some people may not know enough to know that this is a lie in a paid ad. Youtube should worry about their ethics more. On top of this, their copyright strike system is broken and abusable. Hostility towards their own content creators is terrible. Too bad they don’t have any significant competitors to jump ship to.

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Ridiculous ads. The ads are seriously horrendous. When listening to music I can’t even look away from the device because after every minute it plays the WORST ads, and the ads last 20mins unless you go to the device and press skip. The point of listening to music is not to stay near the device so you can skip horrendous ads that are actually embarrassing to play on speakers for everyone to hear. Ya, we are supposed to PAY for ad free listening but that’s a scam to put such horrific ads that do not end. Do better with the ads. Why make us suffer until we pay more just enjoy a free platform. This ruins my whole experience and I just can’t anymore.. I have to leave this review and say it’s horrible. I love this platform but the ads make it miserable. Keep the ads but make them better! I get it for the additional profit of paying for ad free listening . But at this point it feels like a scam to have to suffer THIS MUCH unless we pay for less suffering.

declining. 1. now videos play 2 unskippable ads at the start, an ad in the middle, and two unskippable ads at the end of each video, this wasn’t previously a “feature” and now you have to pay to remove it (ie, google adding something that didn’t previously exist so people have to pay to remove it) 2. if the home page is recommending me videos i’m not clicking, and i refresh the page: Show me different videos, i don’t want to watch these!! incredibly annoying on mobile since that’s the main page of the app!! 3. mobile app moved explore page, i can no longer find the explore page, it’s been replaced with “shorts” stop trying to be tik tok, nobody wants that. we don’t care about shorts, every app now does it. 4. “shorts” show up in my subscription feed, community posts show up on my home page AND my subscription feed. i DO NOT CARE about EITHER of these, there should be an option to remove these from subscription feed 5. the help and feedback section is incredibly unhelpful, it only offers a few questions and no live support 6. it’s about time we got videos that can play in the background, i don’t just mean the sound of the video playing (which can be done with premium/red) i mean the ACTUAL video, like how netflix and every movie streaming service does it. stop making this app worse, i have no problem switching to dailymotion or vimeo

Watchlist/ Playlist Frustration. When I watch videos from my watchlist, a new playlist (redundant) screen in the player comes up that I am unable to remove the video that I just watched from the watchlist. I have to swipe out of my player, to my watchlist to remove the video that I just watched. But when I do that, I am scrolled to a random location somewhere in the middle of my list where I have to scroll up and down to find the video that I just watched, in order to remove it from the list. I believe this is an issue with any/all playlists. The watchlist used to always have a shortcut on the Home Screen. But now it is dependent on how recently it was accessed. This can be frustrating when you have to scroll all the way down to the ‘W’s in order to find ‘Watchlist’. When saving to a playlist, the order is not alphabetical, but recent. Though that can be beneficial, if you are looking to safe into a play that you haven’t recently saved to, this can be daunting.

Multiple problems.. Whenever I leave the app for a few minutes at a time, some times even less, the app restarts so I have to find the video I’m watching again. This may be a mild inconvenience but it happens so often that it’s a major inconvenience. I also keep on getting notifications from people I’ve subscribed to about videos they posted hours to days after they posted. A few times I got notifications a week after the posted, and sometimes it’s not even from someone I subscribed to. I also do not like where the comment section was moved. It was perfectly fine where it was for literal years, and the new update just made it more confusing, since I can scroll to the bottom of the videos in the feed and not see it there. Not only that but when reading replies it’s too easy to accidentally close the comment section altogether by pressing the X button instead of the arrow.

Some issues with the latest update. I use this app probably more than any other app on my iPhone. For the most part it’s really great, but not without flaws. Most of the videos displayed in the Home screen no longer show the video length timestamp in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail which is really irritating. It looks like all other views in the app show the timestamp, so hopefully it’s a bug that’s fixed ASAP. A couple random videos in the Home list show the timestamp while the other 95% do not, which makes no sense. Sometimes the video rotation gets stuck in landscape and will not revert back to portrait view, only the opposite landscape view. This has been a problem for a few months now, and the only way to fix it is to force quit the app. This is quite irritating. Finally, a good addition but extremely overdue feature is the ability to sort the Watch Later playlist. FINALLY this utterly BASIC feature exists. I have no idea why the Watch Later playlist worked so differently than regular playlists for so long, but that’s fixed now. The best addition from a few months ago was the feature of double-tapping to rewind and fast forward. Every video player needs this. It’s incredibly user friendly. It’s way better than the rudimentary 15-second skip buttons that many players now have.

Can’t change my PFP. Hi so today i decided to change my Profile Pic but when i clicked “save” nothing would happen even if i hit “Cancel” still nothing would happen, it would just stay on the screen where you make you’re new profile pic, please fix this Edit: Hi again, i would like to tell you that i still cannot change my Profile Pic, I don’t know why one of the biggest apps in the world right now can’t even take Changing your Profile pic, i tried deleting the app so i could test if i can Change my PFP if i had installed it again, and the answer is no, And listen i know it’s not that big of a deal it’s just a Profile pic but come on! I have to completely close the app in order to get out of the screen that you choose your new pfp because the stupid cancel and save buttons don’t work even if you press them a million times.

Why change the 3 dots button????. I would use this ALL the time to state if a video is not interesting or if I want to save for later. Now it is super small and you have to hold it down for that same menu to come up, turning an action that used to take no time at all into a frustrating and time consuming experience. If you tap on the three dots it just plays the video, what sense does that make if I’m trying to access the menu. This change happened without me even updating the app itself. Please change this back, there was no reason to do that. Also when a video finishes playing the next recommended videos pop up on the bottom of the screen making it hard to access the full screen button, so when I am trying to go in or out of full screen I almost always inadvertently press another video and then have to go all the way back out to get to what I was watching. Does anyone actually test these “features” before they are pushed out? ETA I just updated the app on my iPad and now the search doesn’t work, this is like a horrible joke. Rollback this update I can’t find anything useful about it.

Not the greatest.. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great app, but sometimes it gets on my nerves. With every app comes flaws and this one is no different. The main problem is the fact that it won’t give me what I search for. For example, I search something about one anime and it’ll give me a video about a completely different anime and topic. Even when I tell the app something isn’t relevant to me, that type of content still shows up. Another problem is the search results can be weird. I try to search up a video of an game or show I like and (even if the game/show is completely appropriate) it’ll show me inappropriate content that I have no intention of watching and just leave me disturbed. There are a few more minor problems like the people on the app (which is kind of hard to control), slowness to remove videos that are breaking guidelines, etc. but those are my major points. I hope these things might get fixed and I wish I could have left a better review.

YOU TUBE MUST REMAIN IMPARTIAL FOR ALL. Please remain impartial and non-partisan. Let the people have their voice from both sides. The truth will set us all free. Some videos may be false and debatable and some might be made for the purpose of telling or showing the truth. Let the viewers have their own free will to chose what to believe in or not. As human beings maybe this is the way that we evolve to be better species where in everyone can share thoughts and beliefs to everyone and let the world tell their opinions about it. The world has the power now has the power to reveal the facts and false narratives in the same platform and let the world judge or COMMENT ABOUT it. The makers of the videos will also realize that if their VIDEO UPLOAD is not being appreciated/approved/supported by the rest of the world or by the whole world. Just let people upload and let the rest of the world react to the videos. In this way we as humans have an OPEN DIALOGUE and OPEN DISCUSSION. Whether good or bad the human race will be evolving through this way.

Fair. I really don’t like being pestered into a subscription. And commercials or ads are now political can you remove them. I see so many political ads it makes me sick. Everyone of them is just so anti-Trump how about showing the advantages of having them in office and what they would do with their time in office. Like I want to hear how they would take care of our Communities and Country. And honestly it would really be nice to hear some ideas about their plans on what is really important like feeding our homeless winter is approaching and I just want to be able to see benefits of voting for them not more of that anti-Trump crap, it is getting old and it seems like all that is done anymore. Isn’t there more to USA then bashing Trump and his Administration. Show car Commercials plug some you tubers channel that may be of similar genre or subject. Can’t go wrong with food ads.

I have one serious issue.... Overall, this app is an amazing app, and it has a lot of awesomeness packed into it. But with me, I have one SERIOUS issue. I make my videos, where in my photos, they are nice and crispy looking for any viewer to enjoy, but then when I upload the video, it is at 360p at max. And I see famous YouTubers, they have it up to 1080p. I did have it up to 1080p, for my first 2 videos. Then it just went downhill from there. I made another video, and I found out that it had a limited p measure up to 360p. I upload another video, the same exact thing happens. I’m just like, “what the heck is going with my videos? They look like they are so bad, and lagged. I feel like you people could easily fix this, and if you can, I will be able to upload more crispy and better designed videos!

Volume control. Being able to cast to my smart tv and chromecast is a great feature, but I'm not sure why we need volume control while the app is running in the background. Sometimes I like to have something on in the background and when I'm on my phone, the volume will change itself to full blast. I don't need to be able to control the volume of the tv through the app in the first place (mostly because the tv has it's own volume control), but the feature is nice. Also, lock screen controls are a nice touch as well. But if I have something cast to the screen and then put in headphones, I'll get all sorts of weird volume behavior. I've never had a problem with this before the Feb 2017 update, and I'm an every day user of the app. For this reason, I have to give one star in the hopes that the developer will fix the problems.

Downloaded music, crashing, and phone problems. The downloaded music still takes forever to load, often taking longer than my lock screen. Then, when they do load and I can play my downloaded music, the app crashes after a song or two! This has been happening for the past few weeks. I don’t want to have to stream everything because I live in an area where there isn’t always cell service when I drive. Another reason I don’t want to stream is because it is heating up my phone after just one song. I haven’t figured out yet if streaming music is eating through more of my battery because I can’t compare it to my downloaded music. I just want to be able to listen to my music without having to open my phone every few songs because the app crashes or without having my phone overheat.

Stagnant monetized development. I have been a premium subscriber for a while now, so as new capabilities become available, I can understand the desire to monetize to create a variation between premium and non subscribing. The thing is that exists with ads and services such as TV. The biggest reason I got premium is I didn’t want to see ads for things I didn’t care about. That is the same reason I didn’t get TV, I don’t care about it. The desire to limit things such as PIP as to not lose the differences between paid and non is becoming ridiculous. Now, in the struggle to control background playing on iOS, google has safari crash if it is a non paying account trying to use PIP on mobile safari. Personally, that is kind of rude, and Apple should fix it in a patch because safari force crashing is in my opinion a iOS bug. No website should have that much control over your browser and OS. Apple? My gripe is that the app doesn’t have the functionality. Seriously? I’m already paying for it. Why do I have to use safari as a paid subscriber? It is this type of account greed that ruins companies.

Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum. Listening to M.R. InsideOfYou podcast is such an enlightening moment of my day - hearing from the stars and getting into stuff that creeps under the surface is what I love to hear. We are all not perfect and we enjoy hearing about the not-so-perfect things. It’s sort of therapeutic hearing the many different versions of what ticks a person off and just how far their experiences were. I like hearing how they cope and overcome and even still struggle with many issues in their lives. It also brings me a bit closer to the stars because I just learned something about them or that I heard their upmost struggle. It’s surreal. The interviews brings myself to dig into my own persona and make me want to do things a little different in my life, for the good. Thank you Michael Rosenbaum and thanks to your many guests.

Updates = Decreased functionality. I have used this app a lot over the last 4 years. It has been a pretty good experience. However, I am not sure what is happening to human engineering at Google. Each new update seems to make the app less intuitive and more difficult to use. Ex: 1. Pausing a video to view something on the video in more detail (chart, text,...) is now impossible unless you know the hidden trick. Paused videos now darken the screen and place a LARGE play icon in the middle of the screen, making it impossible to view the paused video. This makes the large segment of teaching/how-to videos much less effective. 2. When saving a video, you no longer get to select where it will be stored. YT now stores it in the last used playlist. This requires you to stop, figure out how to pull up the saved video, and remove it from the wrong playlist YT saved it to, and then save it to the one YOU wanted it to go to. YT no longer thinks you are smart enough to know where you want to save the video. Youtube/Google engineers believe taking options away from users is some type of “improvement”?! Give me a break!! My recommendation is to no longer trust Google to do the right thing, and not accept YT updates until you research what less fortunate reviewers are reporting about each new update. It’s the only way to prevent losing useful features. And don’t even get me started on the increasing number of Ads YT is showing with almost EVERY video.

Dislike feature. The recent removal of the feature allowing viewers to longer have the option to see the dislike count of a video lowers the overall quality of the app. This feature was supposedly meant to prevent creators from beings the victim of targeted harassment which is not a problem in the community whatsoever. The videos that would receive a ratio of more dislikes than likes most likely receives the dislikes due to the fact the videos are most frequently misleading, hateful, or display another feature of a video that should not be watched nor is it worth watching. YouTube’s removal of this feature now prevents users from determining the overall quality of the content they wouldn’t have to view had they been able to initially view the count for dislikes. Furthermore, the amount of likes on a video should also no longer be viewable by the audience due to the fact that this increases the chance of an audience member to like a video regardless of their true opinion. Overall YouTube’s recent decision making has been on a level that no company should be proud of.

What I love about U Tube!. Almost every site starts out very user friendly, useful and most of all...free! Unfortunately, as greed goes, so do new fees, so called upgrades and no so updates that turn out to be new fees. Not so with U Tube! As with anything now, the are great people for the most, that use this service, but there are crazies that have abused the service. The only complaint is an innocent little video that I put out about kittens that someone put some very nasty comments about it. We rescue animals to save them. This person was very creepy. I do recall that it was a person that had put together voices that were imitations of John Lennon and Paul McCartney talking about events that never happened. I’m not a Beatles expert, but I knew the conversations never happened. I commented that the conversations weren’t real. I’m sure that’s why the author made the comments on my innocent little video.

Not happy. Very annoying issues.. subscription tabs red dot stays on even if there are no new videos. CAN WE HAVE A QUEUE OPTION PLEASE??? how hard is it to allow an option that already existed or exists now for streaming? Why can’t I put things in a queue to watch immediately and in a sequence rather than putting into Save for later and forgetting about it?? My save for later list is full now and because the app tries to automatically send videos to that list when you hit Save under a video, it doesn’t even let you pick which playlist to save it to if the list the full. It just shows a message that it’s full and doesn’t let you save it anywhere else from that page. I have to go find the video under the poster’s channel, click to the little three dots and then hit Save to playlist to avoid saving it to Save for later. Shorts has been nothing short of an infuriating mess that makes me leave the app. Recommendations in both Shorts or regular videos just stay uselessly stuck to either ONE channel or the same handful being recommended over and over.

Awful bug!!!!. The app is absolutely amazing and I use it all the time. But there seems to be a bug job the app to where I can’t watch any music videos on the app with the original singing, all that pops up when I type in a song is the instrumental versions of the song then when I go to find other songs that I saved there is a little bar that pops up saying that the video must be approved first before I can view it but doesn’t give me the option to fix it. I haven’t been able to find any of the music I regularly listen to and I can’t even find singers accounts to view all their albums and music! It looks like everything has been totally deleted except for all of the instrumental versions which is absolutely not what I wanted to listen to. Also the comments, which I love to scroll through while the video is playing, is always saying that the comments have been restricted from my viewing because of some restriction mode that I didn’t even know was there let alone turned it on. PLEASE FIX 🚨🚧⚠️‼️

What the-. Everything is just fine, except for a few details, this may just be for me, I don't know. I am unable to watch certain videos because restricted mode is on, I assure you I checked and turned it off on multiple occasions. The other thing is that when I search for a video to watch, instead of the video showing up, I see movies, ads, channels, and other completely unrelated things to my search. This makes no sense to me, I have never had a problem with this in the past, and it has started happening fairly recently. I have checked here in the app store, maybe to update it, but I can't. I am confused about why this is happening to me, and if possible if you could fix this. If anyone else has had trouble with this, and knows how to fix this, please let me know. By the way, this is my first time making a review, it seems a little formal (Not really).

Steve Slate Drums. I’ve been looking and reviewing on a lot of stuff from Steve Slate audio. The software plug-in for the drums are outstanding I bought the basic platinum kit for like 120 bucks. I am not disappointed with it I can’t wait to play with it later on I don’t want to put it down it’s so much fun to play with. Especially having the black album from Metallica on there it’s pretty cool which is under Steve Slate Meadow and then you’ll see a black cat and that’s all but all the white kid that they had on that album. I would highly recommend this software companion to the recording on Arsenal I don’t think you’ll be discouraged sound quality is fantastic it’s something you could check out go to SSD 5.5 and you can download the basic version of it it’s only like one or two cats but you get the idea and then you can decide to pay the &120

Most broken app on my phone. Google has gotten so lazy. And don’t get me started with how broken their ad system is, and how they only care about making that $ and not monitoring what gets advertised on their platform, Really ironic that they get so angry at creators for not being “family friendly” but the ads are way worse and just plain disgusting. Other than that though i am on here daily Edit: wrote this review months ago. Not only have the issues I’ve experienced not gone away, but now there’s even more issues. 5% of the time the Skip ad timer doesn’t count properly and i need to close my video (yes even if its an ad in the middle of the video). Sometimes the video just pauses and doesn’t unpause until you double tap to rewind 10 seconds, only it rewinds about 2 minutes because the video timer stopped working. I have lower end internet and it forces me into 480p even though 720p works just fine, every single video and i need to manually change it to 720p. Its a stupid new system they decided to make to make this already broken app somehow even worse.

I have an idea for the inbox tab. I love using the app so much, and other than the comment section being moved, it’s great. I have an idea, though. What if you change the way the “Inbox” tab works? Like when you click the “Inbox” tab, there are two separate tabs on the top. One should obviously be for new videos from your subscription feed and the other should be notifications from comments you’ve left. I tend to comment quite a lot and often find myself scrolling through many videos in my inbox just to find the comment I’m looking for. I also know that many don’t like commenting, so that tab will be kinda useless for them, but what if you make it an option for the users in settings? It would really improve user experience, especially those like me, who like commenting a lot. It would be nice to see this implemented in the app!

I love the app but 2 things to ask for. So i love the app but i have to things to ask you one about playlists can you please make it easier to add multiple videos from a channel to a playlist you could make it to wear the save to playlist button in the more actions button the user could select that button then they could just select the videos from the channel they want to add to there playlist instead of having to click the action menu button click the save to playlists button then go back in and find the video they added and last thing i know this is a premium feature but its bugging me i would and I’m sure other people would like to be able to listen in the background and lock there screen and the video still play for free I can’t afford premium

Needs Some Improvements. For the most part, this app works really well, but sometimes after a video ends while I have it on full screen, it freezes and stays black for a few seconds, which is a little odd. The only other problem I have is that when I pause a video to read something and have to tap the vid to get the white pause symbols out of the way, it glitches if I tap it twice too fast and the symbols freeze for a few seconds, which is aggravating and has been happening for a few months now. I’d really appreciate it if you guys could fix these two small issues. Other then that, everything else is great. Update: It doesn’t seem like any of the problems I mentioned have been fixed, as they’re still happening. Please fix those issues. Also, for some reason, this app just now closed on me and my phone turned off and immediately turned back on. I’m assuming it has something to do with the app itself. If so, please fix that problem.

Too close to the sun. While I have to respect the relentlessness with which ütube pursues it’s mission of connecting eyeballs and advertisers, they seem to be under the impression there’s no viable alternative, and have started acting like the monopoly they aren’t. I might have been literally yelling but I put up with thirty seconds of the most obnoxious advertising known to man for a two minute clip I wanted to see, but the mini ads (that are only half as mini when you include the buffering time) every forty five seconds had me deleting the app. I did redownload it to access some of the features they’ve removed from the web version, but it’s less time than it took to download I had to delete it again. The content library is still an almost insurmountable advantage, but that’s literally the only thing ütube has left. And a marginally slicker interface I guess, but so not worth all the ways it makes me furious. It’s also straight impossible to fall asleep to a movie that’s being interrupted every few minutes to listen to the smuggest woman ever say “kayak” fifteen times in a row.

This app is almost perfect. I love this app! I really want this to be my life career to become a YouTuber! Though there is something they need to fix 1. When I post a video on private five days ago, then I put it on public it still shouldn’t say posted five days ago, though it should in creator studio so I have proof if someone reopload your vid 2. I got demonetized, but I already have all the requirements. Over 4000 hours of watch time, and 1000 subs! EDIT: years and this app has some great content but it’s also worse than I used to be. I’m sure most are familiar with its issues so I won’t state the obvious, but I will say this. PLEASE STOP PUSHING SHORTS! None of any other short content platform is as good as tik tok in both design and algorithms. It’s annoying to see it as the first few things you see when you look at the app page! Fix your issues and do what your good at. shorts should be an after thought.

Nonexistent comments section. I've heard about the new update where video comments were moved to a different part of the page, which bothered me a little but not too much. However, when this app updated on my iPad, the comment section was completely removed and nowhere to be found. There is a button at the bottom of the recommendations that seems to redirect you to the new comments location, but when I tap on it, it just brings me to the original comments location, which is now entirely blank. I can't see comments other people posted, and I don't have the option to write a comment myself. I've made sure that it wasn't just that comments were disabled on the videos since I can see the comments on another device using the same account and same video. As someone who reads the comments as much as I watch the videos, I'm really disappointed and frustrated.

Updates are not very good. Recently, many updates have changed things for seemingly no reason. Live chat now is swiped to the side instead of down to disable it for some reason, and that change has caused a problem where if I back out of full screen with the chat active, the play bar will bug out, making things slightly laggier, and making it harder to go through comments. The only way to fix it is to turn live chat on again by pressing the button for it(which, all of them are jumbled up), and in general, I don't see why the change was made. There are many changes like this, which don't do anything useful, and instead cause a bug to occur. For instance, right now my homepage is only showing ads and shorts, but no videos. I don't know what exactly caused it, but it is very obviously because of some other needless change to something unrelated. Why not make a good decision for a change?

Some reasons why I like You tube.. I enjoy and find useful the very wide variety of videos and movies You Tube has to offer, from funny to serious or spooky, to informative. I’m an artist and like to read reviews of art materials because at 73 I don’t go out much so You Tube helps me stay in touch with current events and the work of other artists. I think my favorite things are tutorials. You Tube helps me find information on everything from art, to gardening, sewing, you name it, they are so useful! The only problem I have encountered is that occasionally I have a hard time hearing narration over whatever background music might be included in the videos. I am a bit hard of hearing, but my son who is 54, Aagrees that sometimes the music is a little to prominent. Thank you for this opportunity to give my opinion.

Content, Censorship, and Advertisements.. To be perfectly honest, I spend way too much time on this app, and I do use premium simply to download music into my phone. However, the content that is typically encouraged is not very appealing to most. For example, history videos about some, hot-button item, like weapons as a non-specific example, or any object used in warfare, self defense, or literally ANY OTHER ACTIVITY, if it at all goes against the political agendas of the powers-that-be, regardless of the tone, scope, scale, etc of the person present said object, information, concept, perspective or what have you, both the automatic and manual review processes tend to age-restrict, demonetize, block, remove said content or the entire channel. It’s understandable if they are unreasonable people, or post legitimately harmful or unsafe content. Such as Isis Execution videos. And there is NO REASON, to put an ad on a video that is demonatized. Or on a video that is shorter than the video.

Censorship is annoying.. I am no right wing neocon or Trump supporting populist by any stretch, but I certainly do get annoyed with all the censorship that seems to skew one way on this platform. Your censorship is applied terribly inconsistently - one video will be taken down while ten others running far more afoul of your rules will remain. I’ve begun to look at other platforms (like Odysee) even though, for familiarity’s sake, I’d prefer to just stick with this one. That said, your platform still contains more videos on a wider range of topics than your competitors do, but that won’t last if you keep this up. Protools used to be my DAW (digital audio workstation) of choice, but they allowed themselves to fall behind depending on their status as the “industry standard” to keep them relevant. The only reason people still use it is because that’s what a lot of pros started out on and are used to, but their status as the music industry’s standard is waning. I am actively annoyed that anybody still gives that DAW the time of day anymore.

Love U Tube. I am a beginning crocheter and learn better when shown. I love that I can pause and work as I watch or rewind if I missed something. Thank you for showing and giving clear and precise directions. I love the pace you set and that you don’t assume we already know it all! I love most of your craft programs available. I love when they add printed directions. So I can look back as needed …once I understand the project and on my own. At 74 memory not as long as it use to be. Another positive is they tell what supplies we need and where to find them. Some even suggest which yarns or stitches are best used in a certain project . All this I find very helpful and welcomed advice! Thank you UTube and your teachers for this sharing platform. As an elderly woman I love learning from the safety of my home.

All in all I loved how Katie explained what happened to is happening to me. And how to get rid of death from satan. I wrote every scriptures. Great advise every step of the way!. Abbie’s videos have truly been so helpful every step of the way. I was a bit nervous about my F2F interview but since I had previously watched her video on my specific airline I knew exactly what to expect. Flipboard Channel Quality is Slipping. I notice some sites like Wash Post now want you to subscribe and I would rather have it not in my list of things to read. Other channel sites overwhelm you with ads everywhere some pop up as an overlay ad or as an inline ad and force a page reformat while you are reading the content. CNN articles always have this read more button that then reloads the whole article maybe. On my phone it often gets stuck in limbo so I move on to another article or just quit flipboard in frustration. The math channel is cluttered with bike articles that have nothing to do with math. I guess you all expect that mathematicians love to ride bikes more than read about math. Other channels are similarly afflicted with content unrelated to the channel. People want a better reading experience and flipboard is no longer providing that hence the one star. My apologies for the harshness of this review, I like flipboard and the way it presents articles in newspaper format but there has to be a better way to improve article reading without dynamic ad clutter like pop ups or delayed inline ads or pay site articles. Have your app developers really use flipboard themselves and find ways to make a better flipboard 2 or something. As it stands now you will lose folks slowly and they won’t come back.

Like app BUT. I actually like this app most of the time, however now that my son likes to watch movies and we have watched the ones we have at home like 300 times each I wanted to let him watch new ones on my phone. Due to the amount of data it takes, we don’t live near any WiFi connections and I only have my phone to view them on, I wanted to down load it to watch later with out using more data. Unfortunately, I am unable to down load any movies rated for children. Now this seems ridiculous to me I would think it would be the other way around where some could not down load rated r movies so kids can’t just down load bed movies at will. I think it would be better if we could at least down load kid movie with a pass word or something if we can prove we are the parent at least come on that is why I use you tube to see music videos and so my son can see kid movies. But I only 5G so he can’t watch his favorite ones two or three times because it used all my data, To bad I really did like this app but now I don’t use it very much.

Strange status Bar glitch. Hi there… This app is great… But there is one problem… there is a strange status bar bug… lets say you are watching a video… And you want to check the time The time doesn't change… If you check the status bar while watching a video for example… Let's say I play a video that is 15 minutes long… At 9:31 AM and when that video is finished… It's already 9:47 AM unless… You exit out the video… The time still says 9:31 AM it'll be 5 o'clock in the afternoon and the status bar would still say 9:31 AM it's like… The clock got stuck The time doesn't change… Unless you restart the app… Or exit out the video also… Nothing in the status bar changes including the battery level The only way to see the correct time and all of the other information displayed you have to exit out the video And… For the iPad version if you select add to bye accident there is no cancel button it's been like that for three years please fix those issues… There really annoying

You mean You be ridiculous going down the Tubes.. Let’s see you block content on constitutionally protected and legal activity. Run a racket where no can know let alone comply with the rules, use this as way to bilk content makers out of money and run them off the platform. At the same time I sent in multiple complaints on an ad targeting kids to discover their sexuality that I blocked multiple times but it keeps popping up! You will take a 2 minute video and stick 5-10 minutes of ads on it. And btw a 45 min to upwards of 4 hour content is not an ad … it a video so stop sticking them to someone else’s content. The minute the channels I watch convert to a new platform I will be more than happy to let the wokies pay your bills, which hint hint they don’t believe in paying you capitalistic pigs money for content! I sincerely hope some other billionaire will buy your propaganda machine out and straighten it or you go belly up!

There are some crazy things but this site makes almost anything feel possible. I think it’s so cool that I can feel I can see and learn from anything here. Yes some things you look up you may feel guilty or sad from watching or even looking up at all but in all honesty it’s from flat out curiosity for me. Like people who do makeup reviews, blow things up with scientific exploration and even flat out “dog being prepared for eating” as disgusting it may sound people do eat dog and like I said watching things out of curiosity, though it seems like a crazy thing as a dog owner does make me sad but it doesn’t to other people who are trying to survive. On an more American note, I like that I can watch things of every culture and see the way people live their lives and teach the world around how we all live together/separately!

It’s become problematic now. The ads have gotten a lot worse. I’ll start a video and within a minute, I have two ads. A few more minutes, then two ads again. Even when it’s maybe an 8min video, I’ll have ads up to three different times. I get the feeling they’re trying to force you to buy a subscription. If they bombard you enough with ads, you’ll get so fed up and just given. Now my library is different. The update changed how it was organized. My watch later is where I spend most of my time. I could open my library and go directly to watch later. Now I have to open my playlists and then scroll through 32 playlist to get to watch later. First world problems, I know, but still super annoying when it was a change made out of nowhere that was unnecessary and I don’t have any control to change it. It’s alphabetized and it won’t give me any other options.

Scared off!. I have a lot of trouble with functional tech, let alone trying to solve glitches & problems. I barely get computer things set up and then I expect them to work correctly. Silly me. After reading all the comments about this app, I will not be getting it. I wanted to get the premium service because the interruptions from ads drive my autistic son nuts! He doesn’t understand why a beautiful Disney ride video is interrupted with vitamins or make up commercials. We only have terrible slow rural Internet service. Takes awhile to load videos! After waiting for a video to download, I really don’t have the patience to train and do glitches and reload them. (Still trying to get my iPad to talk to this phone. Go ahead and laugh now.) Hope your next app update is better and simpler.

Closes itself randomly?. I don’t know why but the app on my iPhone 8 spontaneously closes itself for no reason. I’m in the middle of a video and the app just closes. I updated the app, restarted my phone, restarted my WiFi, everything I could think of I did and the app still just up and decided to close itself randomly... I have a strong internet connection and good cell service but the app still randomly closes. It’s so spontaneous and annoying. I have to go back, open the app, wait for the app to load?, wait to see if it says whoops something went wrong to resume video or go to library to reload the video where I left off which doesn’t even do that it’s somethings way off when it reloads my videos too like 4-11 minutes off, and then pray it doesn’t crash again... what is causing this?

I am so disappointed that Harry Chaplin the Man Behind the Music isn’t on Audible. Audilble ; it’s hard for me to see but I would buy that book in an instant if I could listen to it. I miss Harry so much and I believe we need his voice now-especially.I think Harry Chapin is the most important Singer in my life and I’ll be 78 in November. I taught my kids the music-all music, however, the older ones were well aware that Harry and his Brothers Tom and Steve were my favorite. You see his life wasn't just music -they were stories they were lessons ,they were Joy. I can’t bring him back but I listen to him all of the time. When I worked for Publix in Naples I hounded people to contribute to World Hunger-the box at the end of my counter- and they did. Hate that I never watch leftist garbage and suggested videos have CNN, ABC, CBS, CNBC, NBC, New York Times, Bloomberg, The Post, Wall Street Journal, National Review, Time, Washington Post, Huffington, The Economist, USA Today, Black Lives Matter, et cetera as the posters! You Tube, Google, Twitter, Facebook definitely sensor stuff I prefer and over control ones I do want to watch, have to subscribe just to find what I prefer to watch and get word of mouth recommendations. Am looking for alternate choices that don’t manipulate as an agenda. Be sure that I share my opinion on this with everyone I know. I used to get on Facebook and Google more frequently but I am finding more unbiased places to go, you’re next if this keeps up, especially lying that you aren’t biased and manipulative. The only thing keeping me on is the good ones I’m subscribed to. Hope you’ll actually read this and give a hoot.

Great app! Almost perfect. Like I said in the title, this app is soooo amazing! I have found so many funny videos, video game guides, music videos, etc, on here. But there’s only one problem and I believe it’s a bug. Sometimes I like to look and see what other videos are on here that are recommended for me, but I also like to watch videos or just listen to videos while I’m doin this, but after I add like maybe 4-5 videos to my certain playlists, the app just crashes on me. Please fix this cause it’s very annoying when it happens and I’d like to be able to continue finding new videos to watch while I’m also watchin another video at the time. If y’all fix that issue, there’s only one addition that I’d suggest you made to the app: a side button in the app that lets you see where your favorite YouTuber has commented or liked one of your comments on their video. If you can add that and fix the issue, this app will be perfect. Hope you’ll listen to my ideas.

Amazing app but tiny annoying features.. I love this app. I have met many amazing people through it, and it’s sort of a pass-time mostly for me. The only things keeping me from giving this the 5 stars it deserves, are it’s new updates. I haven’t checked computer updates but on mobile description and comments are completely separate from each other. Instead of just clicking a button to read the description, it pulls it up completely covering everything else, same with the comments. Instead of just scrolling down, it is right by the top, which I don’t think is much of a problem other than confusing, but the fact that it takes up the entire bottom half of your screen if you click on it is annoying. I really don’t like having to take the time to click in and out of these. I really don’t care a ton or think it’s the end of the world, it’s just really annoying.

is this some kinda joke???. when i first joined the platform around 2016, i saw some good quality stuff. but ever since 2019, the quality has been rapidly declining. first it was the recommended section going kinda crazy weird, then it was yt shots which is just a complete copy of other media, and then there was the removal of dislikes which i am still salty with. i find the removal of dislikes COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY, as they help people know what to trust or whats good. also the factthat y’all used “dislikes were hurting influencers mental health” is a joke because dislikes can help them see whats popular and also they can still see the like to dislike ratio in yt studo and anilitics. also just to mention, the removal of dislikes have also been affecting my recommend even more, especially the shorts. i keep getting terrible videos that i have no idea how they got into my recommend. before that, it would make sense why a video was there.
