Effective, yet flawed.. This editing application is extremely effective, and you can see noticeable and significant changes with the final product. I have no issues with that aspect of the app. However, I do have a number of problems with some of the execution. For instance, after un-blurring a small amount of photos, you are forced to wait six hours just to edit another. A way to rope irritated customers to purchasing Pro, not to mention that the wait time is unreasonable. And the amount of ads are overkill, not to mention painfully repetitive. Another attempted persuasion to make an in-game purchase to escape all the balderdash. All in all, I give this app a three-star total review due to the money-hungry aspects and limited time. If the developers put how the app downloaders feel into consideration, this review would be, without a doubt, 5/5.

Payments on top of the already expansive subscription?????. This is a first. You sign up for the thing. $5/month ($60/year if you’re counting). Then, in order to get the “”Enhance +”” feature (double quotes because this is so... tacky) you need to pay more money for each “”Pro Card””. It’s never made that clear until you start exploring the app. Apparently the AI gives you several versions of the improved photo so you can pick one. $5 for 5 Pro Cards, $10 for 12, $25 for 30 and so forth. WAY too expansive for what it is. Flimsy browsing among my pictures. It defaults to a camera(??) every time, instead of my photo album. Why on earth would I fix a picture I am taking right now !!!)? I got on the subscription but it’ll be a one month thing. The promise is good, it somewhat delivers on that, but they’re crazy if they think the program is worth this much. To put the final nail in the coffin, the biggest drawback in my opinion is the fact that you’ll end up with a new version of the photo you’re “fixing”. There’s no using the app from within Photos either. In addition to editing the photo, I need to re-add all the information about date and location again. Making this much money, they should probably invest in ways of making this happen. Saving: did I mention that no matter how many times you click on a picture to save it to the camera roll, it’ll say it saved it, only to never show up anywhere?

Like and Dislike. Just started using and I certainly like what I can do although I think a dollar a week is really excessive! I don’t like that I cannot save the enhanced photos to my Apple photo app in my devices. I don’t like that I cannot just modify the original photo in my Apple photos app, the way I can with other editing apps. I don’t like that if I just save the enhanced photo to the Remini photo gallery, when I go back it doesn’t give me the option to share it or save it elsewhere! These are things that should all be integrated into this app to make it really user-friendly, and on a par with other editing apps!!! For these reasons I am only going to give it a three star rating even though I think it can do a pretty good job of improving photos.

what is happening! :(. hi omg i love this app and been using it forever, it’s literally my favorite editing app of all time <3 i use the enchance feature EVERYDAY for my instagram posts & edits. but recently it just does not work. it says no connection and like try again later. it doesn’t even start progressing! i tried everything u guys wrote in the help center thing, updated my phone and app, tried both cellular data and wifi, vpn and no vpn. gosh i did everything. like i did have problems getting my pics done since the new appearance and update, but now it’s just not working. please fix this asap i have many instagram accounts that depend on this app! i tried every other app and they’re not as close to good as u guys. i love u and really need your help :( i hope u have a great day, don’t forget that ur worth the world 🫧🫶🏻

Used to be really cool, now it’s boring. Decided to rewrite this review. I downloaded this years ago. The main reason I really liked this app was because there were more features, like colorizing a black and white photo, and there were many more features that made the subscription worth it, even if I never got it. Years later, I want to try and use it again. I downloaded it again, and I knew something was off, because I thought “Wasn’t there a login screen?” And it never loads. This was on my tablet, and I realized that the main screen in fact didn’t have all the features I loved, and it was only Enhance and Enhance+. I thought this was only for the one App Store, so I downloaded it on my phone same thing. It was only when I went on the reviews that I realized that they “improved” it by removing EVERYTHING that I liked before. Now it’s just like every other app, and now it forces me for every single photo to watch an ad to enhance. I will not be getting the app again OR getting the subscription unless you bring these back.

Remini. I love this app, yes sometimes the pics look like they applied makeup, for the most part it’s a good app. I do miss the different options you were able to choose from, I’ve been using this app for 3+ years. My biggest concern is all the different prices, can you tell me why there are like 20+ price options and what the differences are, and why you have so many?? You have lite, and pro weekly at various price points, then the same Monthly, then there are more yearly, why so many, and if I choose the yearly, which is the better option for using throughout the year, are you going to sock me with another charge like you did before. Like I said, love this program, but the pricing you sock me with is ridiculous.

Docked two stars for greedy. This app is quite similar to other apps that can restore blurred photos. Like the other apps, there are caveats. The main caveat is the enhancer is limited to the face and only if the face was directly facing the camera; a face in profile or even turned a bit will often result in a deformation. Also, if the blurring in the original is more than minor, the likely outcome will be a fantasy face that doesn’t look like the actual person. Keeping the caveats in mind though, you can get decent results. I have to dock the app rating on two counts. They purposely prevent the app from being available on the M1 Macs so they can offer a web version that costs even more than the app subscription, and it doesn’t provide the same Enhance+ feature. Let’s hope they rethink that poor decision.

Better than it was…not as good as I hoped. I tried this twice so far…I had a picture my 3 year old nephew took while playing with my phone and if it wasn’t blurry it would have been an unbelievable picture. It cleared it up a lot…still blurry but better however I have a weird line across my forehead in the edited picture. Just don’t zoom in if you do zoom in on the picture it looks nothing like my face though and it also looks deformed. The second picture was another my nephew took while playing with my phone this time of his twin sister this cleared up the picture however her face looks like one of those china dolls. The picture now is blurry and her face looks like I photoshopped a creepy china doll and covered her face with it. She looks super creepy. Just a fyi I used the free version for both pictures. I’m a little disappointed I couldn’t improve the pictures more and better but I can’t expect miracles.

Hit & Miss With Unreasonable Limitations On Use. I got this app after seeing some impressive examples of facial animation based on still photos. If you don’t pay, you have to watch ads, also, you don’t get access to most of the better tools...fair enough, I thought. But when I was informed that non-paying users are restricted to a ‘quota’ of just five images per day, I uninstalled the app. Frankly, the facial animator works well some of the time; but it also capable of animating teeth, stretching noses Pinocchio-style & swelling jawlines to Neanderthal proportions - so you definitely need a few attempts to make things work better. This is not possible when you are cut off after 5 images. Given what I managed to see in the restricted opportunities available, I decided not to pay $30 for a years subscription. This app takes a lot of personal information from your device too - so, no thank you.

Thank you. I don’t know how to convey the way I feel about this app. I downloaded it last night and quickly realized I had to subscribe. My reason, I have been trying to get pictures of someone dear to me who passed close to twenty years ago and very recently I had my opportunity to do so. As you might expect what I got was grainy and blurred, some where even faded and torn. Not only did this clear most of that up but over enhanced pictures have made it possible to see what he would look like today. He would be mid-thirties. The animated feature gave me great comfort to see him candid like I remember. I know most users will not have an experience like mine but I suspect this app will be a huge help in healing from his memory. Thank you so much for giving me this.

pretty good i guess !. I think overall it’s a pretty good photo editor app, I mean there’s not lots of apps that let you enhance photos. But I personally feel that it’s missing something. There are some small bugs that should be fixed, but other than that it’s a really good photo enhance app, (in my opinion they should probably add videos too.) i’d actually give this three stars just because there isn’t much to the app itself, but i wanted more people to see this review before downloading. i’m definitely keeping the app because i have lots of laggy/bad quality photos lol. Anyway, Just read this before downloading because it might not be all you were expecting, which was also my reaction. So, yes, this is a good and useful app! i recommend it about 80% because i know a lot of us have loads of photos that need to be enhanced i guess lol, Have a great day!

what did you do? ruins pics. Sigh. WHY DO YOU KEEP MAKING IT WORSE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW? First, stripped all features, eventually kept fiddling with the ai models and making basic enhance worse and worse…and worse… This is the 1st time I’ve used it and been astounded that now it apparently drastically changes image brightness and color without consent. Also, each image I now run comes out blown out as WELL as less clear and way noisier. I got used to occasionally running remini and hoping at least some part of the result will be usable, even if it’s just an eye! I had such high hopes for remini and social media was astounded by it. Now they silently remove those posts and don’t speak of remini any more. It worked like gold at first, was amazing for video, too. Then you removed it, added it back in but worse, removed it again, added history back in (but worse), removed it AGAIN, and started cash grabbing for the most expensive avatars on the market. 9.99 for members? Is that a joke? Your pricing structure is now MORE than an adobe photoshop and lightroom plan. You took the soul out of remini and kept messing with gold until it turned to coal. I’ve been so patient…but I’m done. Don’t waste a cent.

Remini review and tips. This is mainly for the app developers or people in charge whatever. First and foremost you guys would do so much much better if you’d offer the service to charge monthly not weekly fee. So far from what I’ve used it it’s a huge help to have here and then when I have an image I really want to try and save but the downside is I don’t use it as often to pay weekly it’s just to pricy for a weekly charge and being honest 2% of people actually don’t mind that. But the other 98% people that could help you grow and be worth it don’t use it or like me I only pay for it here and then if I get busy and have tons of photos I need touched up. Charge 7.99 a month and watch how you’ll grow and if you actually change I will personally put the word out to my photography community because I know they will definitely sign up for that!.

It’s incredibly proficient.. I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and the difference in quality has come very far. Back then you would only be allowed to use it on pictures with faces, but now you can do it with random things including insects!!! One of the reasons it’s getting a 4-star review is due to the fact there are quite a few ads. I get that’s their main source of revenue lol, so I can’t blame them but sometimes I feel as if it’s greedy. If you want to use the app continuously, you end up having to watch ads for several minutes as they come on after restoring a photo and then, when you want to save the image. Also your app sometimes struggles to pick up on thin materials like string, yarn, and spiders webs etc. which ends up distorting parts of the image. For example, a refurbished picture of my grandma knitting with yarn would have a high chance of being distorted in specific areas. I hope I was able to give you some feedback that is understandable. Thankyou so much for this service. I’ve restored my moms childhood photos with my grandma and it’s looks so beautiful. I’ve also restored a photo from when one of my family members was at war, the picture was black and white!!!

Like WOW AMQZING!!!. This is the first product I have ever used that is actually 10,000 times better than advertised. I’m telling you, I was just about to buy the super expensive subscription with I stock photo and then I stumbled upon this app, I’m sure because of algorithms, but this time they worked in my favor! Absolutely amazing. You can literally zoom all the way in to the picture on someone’s face and it is completely corrected. For some reason though, it doesn’t correct everything else around the face quite as well, but most of us just sent her on the face anyway, and I guess that’s what this app does too. But trust me, it is 100% worth it. It really can clear up your face and it does do a little work for the background to but, what it does in general is almost scary.

Really impressed but can use some fine tuning.. I’ve had this app for some time and I’m happy to say that it’s worked in my favor 80% of the time. The problem is that Remini enhances sometimes in a way that makes faces in an image or an image itself artificially smooth/AI like. It’s hard to actually use these enhanced photos professionally when they look like they’ve been overly edited or fake. I would suggest a slider that mixes in how much the enhancement takes over a photo because then it’d be much easier to control how much you want it to be smooth rather than being bound to 2 or 3 options of enhancements. I hope my suggestion is considered and something similar to this can be implemented in the near future!

Love your app but refuse to upgrade. Dear Developers, I have 2 iPhones. One iPhone is updated to your latest app version but you no longer have all the other features that I loved- face animation, video enhancer, portrait mode , painting mode etc. That was a great version of your incredible app which you ruined. The extra widgets in your app were incredible. By upgrading your app you lost me as an artist. On this iPhone still running IOS 14. iPhone 11 Pro Max I enjoyed all those extra features- face animation, video enhancement , different painting and camera features and cartoon until today when I tried to use the old version for video enhance ad there are no video enhancing apps quite like yours, I get a message from your old app, a notification that I must upgrade. I refuse!!!! How can I remove the notification that appears when I launch your app to upgrade to your latest version which of course removes all the features that I love. Please answer me.

Can’t restore my purchase. I really like what this app can do. However, I was having some issues with it after subscribing for 3 months, so I deleted the app, reinstalled it, then tried to restore my purchase. It just says that there is a purchase already associated with my Apple ID. No kidding. That’s why I’m trying to restore. I tried this on my iPhone 12 and iPad mini 5, but it won’t let me restore. So basically, it looks like I’ll have to wait for the remainder of my subscription to run out before I can make it work again. What a scam. Edit: Remini was able to work through my issues. It all was related to signing in with Apple. Once we made my actual email address the account email, everything worked. Also, they have basically eliminated any crashing from before, scrolling is now ultra smooth, and the entire experience is now top notch.

Updates Made it Worse. This app is overall the best I could’ve found in a while. About a year ago it worked very well when I was just starting out my photography and wanting to clear up faces. Even really blurry pictures came out fairly consistent. However, as it kept updating the smoothing got too smooth, eyes got frequently distorted, and they added a need to pay for most features and it is in no way affordable nor worth it. During the free trial, enhance+ results were practically the same with more unnatural smoothing or eye color changes for whatever reason. Odd enough: most of the pictures I used that year ago when it worked well were blurrier than the ones I try running through it now! The biggest issue, though, is the app’s difficulty with race and ethnic features. Even with increased definition on bigger noses or thicker eyebrows, the app always shrinks them into Eurocentric features. I typed this right after trying to edit a picture from a k-pop concert. All of the idol’s facial features were distinctive; I only needed more definition on her eyes. The app made her eyebrows more square, her eyes wider, her lips more puckered and small, and straightened and shrunk her nose. It seems this app has been reprogrammed with more images of white people as I did not have an issue with this prior to recent updates. None of it looks realistic anymore, this app had potential that swirled down a big drain.

Good app but some issues. I was thinking for a long time about getting a photo enhancing app until poof, Remini shows up as the first and most popular result. It definitely helps enhance your photos, but it makes you look like you’re wearing makeup. I know that for some people, that is exactly what they want, but I sometimes like to have my face look natural. If you could make an option so you can choose whether to make your face look like that or not, that would be amazing. Another problem that I have faced is that you have to watch an ad after pushing every single button if you don’t have the premium membership. Could you make it so you have to watch an ad like once every other photo. And the final thing is that it only works on pictures of people. I know technology is still improving and I am sure that your team is working very hard, but it would be nice if you could enhance a photo of your old house for instance. LOVE the photo enhancement, BUT I just have ONE issue….. Okay so the photo enhancer is AMAZING!!! So is the video enhancer. BUT, the video enhancer requires you to pay, which I understand, so I tried paying for a subscription. When on the subscription page, nothing will load, whether I’m on my WiFi, or my data (which both have pretty good range, so I know that’s not the issue here). Anyways, on the subscription page, it says “IAP not prepared. Click refresh” but when I do so, nothing happens (and I tried several times). I REALLY want to purchase a subscription simply for the video enhancement feature, but this issue is keeping me from doing so. If the developer could please simply reply to this and help me fix it, that would be very much appreciated, and my rating will be changed to a 5 star right away! But like I said, other than the issue I stated above, this app is literally MINDBLOWING, and I am VERY eager to subscribe, so im really hoping you guys see this and reply soon!!🙏🏼 Thanks for reading!

I love Remini.. Someone recommended Remini. If thought I’d give Remini a try. I have been using it to clear up old pictures and actually some new pictures of people. I see an old picture that is blurred of a friends. I download it and run it through Remini and if it comes out good, I will message the picture to the owner (usually family) and ask them if it looks better, to try Remini. It does not always work. I have done pictures of me and in one, I actually look like a deformed little creature. That has happened to a few of me. Remini actually focuses on the eyes and slightly smooth’s the face. The program don’t always get it right. A few times you will say, those eyes just aren’t right. Many times however, I say, oh my goodness, that is beautiful. I love the program. I recommend it to everyone. I am retired with very little to live on, so I do not have PRO. I use it once in a while. Try it. You’ll love it. 4-3/4 Stars.

I like it BUT…. The new update is honestly very aggravating. It went from only needing to do 1 ad to 2 and the second ad for being allowed to save the photo. If you’re gonna put more ads, then give more credits or allow unlimited saves one. We still only are given 5 credits. Not cool! And on top of that, it sometimes changes the color of my skin which isn’t appreciated! It makes it lighter than what it is at times which I don’t understand. Was also disappointed that it does good with close up selfies/headshot photos but doesn’t come out so well with the same thing but that person being slightly farther back. Still pixelated or blurry. I thought that would’ve been something that y’all would’ve fixed… instead of putting more unnecessary ads. Anyways, besides that I do love the app, I just think these issues need to be eliminated.

Used to be phenomenal. Now is obsolete!. Remini used to have absolutely astonishing features. Things like taking a beat up black & white photo and repairing it, colorizing it, and adding motion to bring life to the oldest photos. Now they “upgraded” to delete all of the things that made it unique enough for me to subscribe. It’s now not much more than the enhancement button that’s on the phone’s camera, except it takes much longer to do the enhancements. It’s incomprehensible how the developers thought it was a good idea to remove all of the features that made their app so magnificent and special. It’s extremely annoying to have paid for those features only to have them taken away. Bring back the phenomenal Remini from a couple of years ago and I’d subscribe again. The current version is so useless that I not only canceled the subscription, but also deleted the app because it went from being absolutely mind blowing to completely irrelevant. What a shame.

Not a great experience. The app clearly states that it works on videos yet when I load up the app it only gives me “enhance” and “enhance+” as options. Assuming enhancing videos is a premium feature I subscribe for 1 month to test it out. After subscribing the only change is no ads but no other features are available. I try to contact their support email but have yet to receive a response. Having to then troubleshoot myself I try to download the app on a second device but when I go to restore my subscription on the second device I get “unable to verify purchase receipt please repurchase”, okay maybe a subscription is only good for one device but I do not think that information is very clear, then to make it worse now when I open the app on my original device it says I only have a free account and gives me the same message as my second device was giving, and of course no response from their support email.

mind blown!. when i saw the ads i thought it was kinda a scam because i didn’t know how they could take a blurry picture and UNBLUR it. but i had a picture of my newborn daughter with her daddy in the hospital but it was so blurry because it was on portrait but it didn’t focus right cuz we were in a rush. so i tried some other app with a fox on it and it claimed to do the same thing but it didn’t come out much better at all. it’s seriously looked the same and i was so sad. but then i tried this app and it made it incredibly clear and beautiful. you could see every detail! i have never written a review before so you know i must have really loved it if i took time between my crying newborn to write this

Should have kept additional options. The enhancement option works pretty well, much better than using the old portrait mode which rarely seemed to do anything. But I subscribed for the app for the other options like paint and colorize. They worked GREAT and were a lot of fun to use. Enhancement + has pro options, but not enough difference between them to make a subscription worth it. To subscribe for the price, just having the enhancement option now seems to barely be worth subscribing. At least bring back the colorize and paint options. You still have them as screenshots on here and in the opening screens on the app itself. Yesterday was going to give 5 stars, but now happy I waited, because this is extremely misleading now.

The perfect AI photo enhancer.. Take what I am about to say from somebody (myself) who has been using a $100 computer application to upscale/enhance my photos for over a year now. This app, which does the exact same thing for free (or for only 5% of the aforementioned program’s price if you would like to be ad-free), blows that program out of the water. This app is absolutely incredible, to the point where I barely even use that other computer program anymore (if ever). Upload your image, tap one single button, and your photo is enhanced to perfection. I, personally, do not have a single complaint. Please give this app a try if you haven’t already, it really does work, and does so very well. It has yet to disappoint me once. I truly hope the developers consider making this available as a desktop application as well. If they did, that would be absolutely amazing.

Literally ruined. I used to love this app. My favorite feature was the oil painting and I was so devastated when I went to use that very feature, had to update the app to use, and then came back to a completely downgraded app that only left enhance. (A feature that I DON’T EVEN USE) If I wanted to just enhance, there are so many apps for that. What your app had was very unique and special. This was the first photo editing app that I’ve been excited about using, and now it’s like you’ve taken something personal from me. I know it’s just an app, but it made me kind of depressed when everything o created on the app disappeared and turned into enhanced only. I will not be downloading again until your app goes back to how it was, not being boggled down by the man of uniformity. BUT! Being as unique as it was before. You don’t have to be like every app to be awesome. You were perfect as you were. I have to give one star when I wish I could not rate at all. There’s nothing good to say about this update. And I’m surprised people who liked Remini love the update. The rest of us love the old you.

Great enhancer for photos. I downloaded it a while ago and it has since added “degree of enhance” options. It used to mess up some little details of the face. It seems to improve somewhat as well. Update: Asians now can get straight eyelashes now(although can still be a bit messy), and smalls details like speckles are kept, which are definitely pros. What I don’t like is how the picture got brightened and lose some to tonal details. If I want that I can do it myself with photo editing apps to the exact degree I like. Unblur was good enough before. Users would generally want accuracy over beautification from an APP like Remini. Besides, 9$/week, the price is too much.

Yes! And no :(. UPDATE: Remini hasn’t worked on my IPhone XS for about a month now!! I keep trying with every update, and it crashes on startup!! 5 star review is now a 1 star until the problem gets fixed! Remini does better work than it’s iOS competition. Clearly the best on iOS. Unfortunately, their network can’t keep up with user demand (unable to connect, or long processing times). They also make it seemingly impossible to sign in on more than one device! I would LOVE to make Remini a stable part of my workflow, but find it frustrating. That being said, if you’re working with older pics from an old phone or digital camera, it works great. Working with HQ photos seems to be what causes the issues. Lots of potential to be incredible though.

Minor distortions & trouble with race. Overall a darn good app. A couple of snags I’ve hit: the app is not good at dealing with 3/4 views, or someone who is looking away from the camera. The app seems to want to make eyes looking forward. Which is fine, except when the face is not looking forward. I got some pretty gruesome results and finally accepted that there would be some old photos that I would not be able to use here. There are many more I can, so it’s not the end of the world, but it’s sad to have to leave out some of your favorites because body or face positioning aren’t right. Also: my dudes. Not everyone is white. All the eyes are tinted a very pale blue or green and my Chinese grandpa has blondish hair! My dark-skinned, multiracial father does not have light eyes and never did - even when he was little 😄. These are black and white photos so the tinting should be able to be turned off if you don’t want it. In some cases it’s quite subtle and evocative. When dealing with nonwhite people, though, you cannot have the default eye color be light. There’s a difference between light eye color and putting in catch-lights to make the eye sparkle. Yes to catchlights! No to default light eyes.

disappointed in the removal of the video enhance feature.. i've used this app countless of times before the update and i was initially very pleased with this new update. when i saw that the 5 picture limit was replaced with an unlimited photo enhancement with ads, i was ecstatic. my enthusiasm faded, however, after noticing that all the other features, including the ai paint feature AND, most importantly, the video enhancement feature, were all completely removed. i was considering buying the pro subscription, but after all these great features were removed, i'm absolutely going to pass. this is very disappointing. i think there was an opportunity there for the video enhancement to be optimized to be even quicker, perhaps, with the new update but instead they just removed a ton of features that were very useful.

Amazing app, it gives you want you downloaded it for!. This is a simple app. You download because you think it’s gonna fulfill your needs. And it does! If you want an app that gives you really defined pictures, this is the one to use :) all there is, is that sometimes the pictures might have too bad of quality and the object or person might seem…discombobulated 😅and you have to watch an ad to get it refined, and you have to watch an ad to download it on your device. Other than that, it’s pretty good! I really recommend this app. I don’t think I’ll ever delete this app unless it’s for space, or if I find a better app :) have a nice day now!

Disappointed in the change. Remini used to be my favorite app for photo editing. It had amazing features. I often found that enhance feature was a little too “strong” often adding teeth and weird things on certain photos and giving the photo an unnatural look. The “retro” feature was the perfect compromise and it didn’t add teeth to peoples faces or distort features. I’d heard many who did the app update or just purchased lost these features on the original app and are now only left with enhance and enhance +. I intentionally didn’t do an update for this reason. Today I couldn’t use my app unless I updated which then caused me to lose all the features I love… retro, paint, color, portrait etc. I tried using the enhance and I see no improvement… only difference now is your app offers one marginal at best option and none of the other ones that separated you from the rest. There are Facebook group that complain about this app now and the changes… you should listen to the people and go back to what everyone once loved. Sorry to say you just lost a customer and I will not be renewing in the future.

(Terrible Update) Used to be 5 Star.. Wow, how sad to see such a handy app turn into another copy paste cash scheme, I’ve honestly used This app for a long time to enhance old family photos or to add realism to video game characters for fun, I had no problem watching the ads that they had back then because it was worth it honestly, I loved the layout of the app. The option to color old photos and they even had a option to enhance videos! Being able to switch and add new accounts was a nice addition as well. All I can say is I’m really disappointed with where this app is now, more ads that’s are 30 at least now, you can no longer enhance a 2nd time for free, they’re basically just trying to shove pro down our throats and for what? They took out all the other features that made the app unique. I’m really let down and I’m hoping they’ll go back to the old version, but you know how these phone apps developers have become with all the micro transactions. 👎🏻

Crashes and Quality Decrease. For the past almost month now, any time I click on the app, it shows me a black screen for 5 seconds then crashes and exits me out completely (without even an error message or anything). The enhancement quality has also been decreasing over the last 6 or so months. I still don’t understand how you advertised that the AI enhancement was going to get better and more focused and THAT’S why you deleted all your other features (like coloring a b&w picture and video enhancements). I used to have a monthly subscription until you cheated me out of my money for two months (it took over two weeks to get an email response and another week to get my refund). Not sure what the deal is and I rarely write reviews and even more rarely write negative ones, but I’m nearing my end of chances.

Amazing App, But Can Be Wonky. Lemme start by saying I absolutely LOVE this app—I use it so much now and as an artist it’s a great way to add a bit of OOMPH to my realism pieces (that might be cheating a bit but who is gonna know). However, I give it 4/5 instead of 5/5 bc it has a bit of trouble with faces that aren’t 100% full front view sometimes and the less initial detail in your picture the more likely the face will come out weird looking and off, likely because the AI doesn’t really know how to process those and has to do a lot more “guesswork” than with better input pictures. This is however a very MINOR complaint and I would still HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants to restore old family pictures or add a bit more realism to their drawn portraits.

Most of the features I love are no longer available!. I use to love this app, I was able to do amazing things and I wouldn’t have mined paying a little more to have the features I loved remain in tact. One of my favorite features was colorizing old photos. I was able to make the past come to life, even was able to animate faces of loved ones that have past. For the life of me, I don’t understand why they would have removed these features. I would be happy to change my review if they just listened to their customers and brought the old features back. I even tried the Pro version and it was exactly the same as the regular version, except I could use it on a PC. None of the old features were part of that version either. I’m very dissatisfied in fact, I was a paying customer and without warning they took away all the features I loved. Honestly this should be turned into the Bureau of Better Business.

Great tool. I genuinely use it everyday. I edit a lot and it helps a lot. However, when they removed the option to change how much of the enhancement effect is applied… kind of ruined everything. Like now I can’t decrease the amount applied so there’s times the enhancement looks horrible and obvious. Sometimes it even adds weird features (like turning lips into teeth) or removes important ones (fine details). I won’t say “I would’ve given them 5 stars if…” because although the app is better than others, it still has room to grow (in a good way). So I would’ve given them 4. Especially with the new Ai avatar tool. That was crazy good at what it doesn’t and I truly thought it would look trash lol. Overall this is worth it if you edit frequently using other apps. I like to use it before/after a project I’m doing for people. But recently I haven’t used it much due to the issue I mentioned earlier.

No help whatsoever. This app can sure be fun, and it does typically, very good work. But when I tried to fix the cracks in a photo of my mom it kept failing. I even went and paid again to have it enhance plus a second time but it still won’t remove the cracks. The app suggested I try to contact them using various social medias, which I did. They never ever ever replied. Today I finally figured out after about 15 minutes how to cancel my subscription. But then it decided to not cancel it today, it informed me that it’s going to charge me for next month also and my account won’t be canceled until the end of August! Absolutely not! After searching and searching I finally found their email address and sent them an email, well I tried to but it said the address is not valid. I want to cancel my subscription, as of today. Do not charge me for August! And I want that photo of my mom fixed that I paid for! This is not cool.

my thoughts on this app!. its great . I LOVE IT . i just dont like that they distort faces sometimes and mess up their features, creating a whole different person. however, i would assume that is just because the app is run by ai, so we can’t expect it to do very well all the time. HOWEVER. it does exceptionally well on photos like art, and makes it much more clearer, which i appreciate a lot! i havent used any other features so there arent any comments i wish to make about it, except for maybe the videos? i wish you didnt need to do much more extra for it, and could just.. use the features, yknow? so people wont get frustrated with your app regarding all the ads and the need to buy memberships for extra features or enhancements... other than that, it’s pretty good !!

Commercialized & Sometimes Ineffective. While this app does a good job of enhancing mildly blurry images, it’s usage doesn’t extend far past that. You have to watch many ads to enhance multiple images and can only enhance five a day before having to pay (basically you’re paying them with your time if you don’t want to pay them with money) On top of that, there are now watermarks on the photos, which I find rather annoying considering I’m already watching ads and am limited to five enhancements per day for these services, and if you dislike your result? Too bad, because you won’t be entitled to another enhancement. My least favorite aspect of this app is that you’ll have to watch a bad before enhancing each photo, so if you have a spotty connection, you still won’t be guaranteed a working enhancement and, even after watching an ad, might just get an error message. Overall, I’m disappointed with the deceptive, commercialized tactics sometimes used in the design of this app for a service that can be inconsistent. One a more positive note, I absolutely LOVE the colors, background, and face beautification features. They give users much more freedom with the final result while also allowing room for improvement and hope to see more work on these features in the future.

The auto color editor is annoying. I get that u just want people to buy premium, but all I want are clearer photos of my mexican redknee spiderling, aristotle. he’s a baby and i wanted clear photos of him, but when i’d enhance them through ur app, a random color filter gets placed on it and i have to use the “color editor” option to ‘disable’ the filter. but when i go to save the photo i can only save the original version with the wacky color 😐. i didnt download this app to get a free randomized editing job on my photos. i just wanted them to be clearer so i can see his tiny hairs and tiny eyes better. i’m uninstalling because theres no use for blue photos of spiderlings. other than that the ehancing part is VERY nice, i loved it. without the color filter. with the filter it looked like a filtered instagram photo from 2013.

Close to perfect, But….. This is, without a doubt, an incredible example of the power of AI. On soft images and “old” photos, it magically brings details back to the faces in an image, and it’s darn near perfect… but…. It’s greatest strength is also it’s Achilles heel. It obviously draws on a large database of images that it sorts through as reference to create detail that just doesn’t exist in an original image. Unfortunately, those details can sometimes make the person in the photo look like someone else. The second downfall of this is that while it restores incredible detail to faces it does nothing for the rest of the image, which is at the least, a huge letdown, and at worst, it just makes the image look downright awkward. 4 stars for a mostly magical experience… minus 1 for those moments when the magic just doesn’t work.

Smart AI; Dumb Dev. This app used to have more functionality before they gutted it, things like video enhancement, make photo faces come alive, color from b&W, remove scratches, etc, but now all it does is enhance. And while photo enhancement was the best part from the aforementioned suite of utilities, it still is less functional than what I had purchased in an annual subscription. Although, I’m not happy about that, they did promise new features after removing functionality. However, those promises for new features never materialized or haven’t been released yet; the only new thing I’ve noticed since the start of 2022 was the persistent and nagging "are you satisfied with result?" An annoying amorphous question that should have been answered the moment I saved the image. So… I wouldn’t recommend this software as it’s not the only AI assisted solution to photography in the App Store. The changes to this decimated app while making promises of vaporware features gives me no faith in their roadmap of development. Smart AI dumb DEV. It is what it is.

Newest update ruined the app — cancelled my subscription. I used to love this app— I’ve been a loyal user and PAID member of remini for over two years now. I often recommended it to people too. But I cancelled my subscription after seeing that the features such as video enhancement, scratch remover, and colorization were taken away. I had probably 70 pro cards saved up, I figured I would be able to use them after my membership was no longer active but it looks like they’re all gone after the update. what a WASTE of money. You could’ve at least given users a heads up that the features would be removed instead of just deleting them one day along with the pro cards that people -paid- for. After this I have no desire to support the developers with a paid subscription and it makes me rethink using the app even on a free basis. Really disappointed.

Sneaky. I signed up for a 7-day free trial and the Pro feature. This app never notifies you when the free trial is over or let’s you know ahead of time you’re going to be charged—basic courtesy reminders. Especially since they charge $9.99/week for their Pro feature which didn’t do a good job of unblurring my photos. By the time I realized that this trial had ended, I’d already been charged for three weeks. I’d seen the charges come up on my card statements and couldn’t figure out what it was from until today. $30 for an app that couldn’t do the job I was looking for it to do is a massive disappointment and I should have been more vigilant about this app. I just think it’s sneaky and they have a non-refundable policy. I used this app for one day and paid $30 for a crappy job. Recommendations to the developers: -for an app that charges so much, you should really let your customers know (as a basic courtesy) of upcoming charges -the non-refund policy is really sneaky and underhanded. There are plenty of people who can miss these subtle charges going through, never used the app for more than one day, and end up paying a ridiculous amount for it -notify your customers when a trial is ending (very unprofessional to do otherwise) This app’s features are not worth it for $9.99/week. In hindsight, I should have been more careful of signing up for something like this and now I know better.

WHAT HAPPENED?!?. Remini has been my go-to app for a long time now it’s so awful I deleted the app altogether. It used to remove blur from my photos perfectly! Now my photos are distorted and weird looking. People’s faces used to be enhanced and clearer like the rest of the photo, now it changes the structure of people’s faces, adds/changes the color to eyes and mouth that wasn’t even on the original photo making people look unrealistic and downright creepy!!! In some pictures, facial features weren’t even aligned with their face! The eyes and mouths were below or beside the head! At least give the option to only remove blur from the entire photo if you don’t want AI, HD, whatever it is that has changed. MY REVIEW BEFORE AI VERSION: I use this on every photo! There are three enhancement options so you can choose which works best for each photo. Sometimes I use Remini to make a photo clearer before going onto further editing, and sometimes it’s all the editing needed. Either way, every photo looks better using Remini! Give it a try.

Remini review. This is a must have app for any photographer. So often I took a shot and miss the mark (the main subject) by a little, Remini come to the rescue. I have used its other functions too. The Colorise is another one for BW photos to bring different life to it. May not be the best but a good start. On the whole I wish Remini will make the app for desktop computer. I will be the first one to purchase it. Highly recommend.

Love this app!. i absolutely love this app. i edit photos and make wallpapers and this app has quite literally saved my life. i was relieved in the last update that you can now enhance unlimited photos a day with a free account, unlike before when you could only enhance 5 photos a day. however, since this update has come up, the amount of ads have doubled and you now not only have to watch an ad to enhance a photo but to save it as well, i guess this is a given considering the option to enhance unlimited photos a day with a free account is now available, nevertheless, it is a massive pain and takes about 5 minutes to enhance 1 photo. apart from this, the only other improvement that could be made is the option for video enhancing, as someone who loves to make edits for fun, it can be a real pain when you export your video from capcut and it is horrible quality and it would be amazing if i could do what i do to my photos, to my videos with remini.

Absolute false advertising. Trust me when they say “enhance” they just mean by making your photos either look horrible than before or make it look completely different and only some photos actually look good. I tried to enhance a text message screenshot that was low quality and this app literally made it look 10X worse by making the image look deep fried. Stop trusting these.

Love love love!. I don’t normally write reviews but this app is amazing. I’ve used it for years to clear up my photos and it’s never let me down. It even adds newer and cooler stuff such as the ai generator that I’ve been having fun with recently. Sure, there are ads but not nearly as much as other apps and they’re worth watching for the final product.

Was ok until it stopped working. I was very happy with this app and it did a great job on my photos until it stopped working. I now only have 1 option ‘enhance’ available to me? I’ve tried contacting support numerous times but I haven’t received a reply. It’s a waste of $7.99 if it only works for a couple of days then doesn’t. Customer service is non existent too.

devastated you removed the Paint feature. I built a successful business using your paint feature and suddenly removing a very good tool was just ridiculous. The enhance+ feature is useless. So disappointing you won’t give your loyal users a simple paint enhance feature back. Uninstalling Remini now and so is the rest of my family. Emailed replies from Remini don’t even address my very politely and detailed emailed concerns expressing how important the paint feature was to my livelihood. They just kept saying they are focusing on the one main feature of unblur. It doesn’t makes sense because that option is terrible now. Enhance Plus is no different to enhance and don’t even get me started about all the ads. I feel like they must have sold the app to a third party because it’s terrible now. I used to love the app but I have no use for it or time for its ads. I work in the digital art industry and we all agree. I would be happy to change my review if they return the paint feature.

MAGIC. This app helps me avoid being catfished by other people because once they send me a picture, I’ll just have to enhance it here and find it on Google images to make sure I wasn’t being scammed 🥴 I just wish instead of 5, Remini would make it 10 free tries a day.

Doesn’t work - not happy for paying subscription. Paid for subscription. Been a paying customer for 6 months now. Doesn’t work now with no notifications of errors being dealt with , restarted phone , re downloaded app , but still issues not on my end. Not easy to contact about the issue either . For something requiring a payment this should be dealt with more considerably to the customer . At least a free month or something for the inconvenience. Not happy with service . Just being honest . Other than that . It’s a fantastic app when working.

Face only?. I’ve used the enhancement part of this app a lot to clear up some photos and it’s been awesome! I only have one problem... why is it only enhancing the faces in the pictures and not the full picture? Is it because I haven’t bought a subscription? So it’s like a taster of what the app can do but for a full image enhancement you need to buy the subscription? I have no problem with that if that’s the case, I completely understand that this is how the creator is making money I just with that it was specified at the start that it was going to be like that. Other than that, AMAZING app! Highly recommend!

Pretty good. I used this app to enhance a photo of my great grandfather and after a couple “put-throughs” I finally got to a point where it looks good, although it does look a bit like a painting in some parts. Overall good app, made a blurry black and white photo into a realistic colour photo.

Remini is fascinating. Great to try out. Some results are dubious like the descratching that left a “seam” where the photo had been scrunched. The colourised photos are very washed out too. But tiny black and white photos can be enlarged and enhanced to make you do a double take and go wow! Photos from the past can be lost but once digitised they can be easily stored and dispersed in perfect condition.

Must Have. As an online brand the quality of my photography and video must be the best quality and quite simply Remini plays a huge role in this. I try apps and keep very few … Remini is an absolute keeper.

Freaking Amazing! Done the Impossible!. Okay! This app has a few problems: like the option for video enhance for some reason is not available for me, and has an iPhone UI only, and depending on the photo used, the result can be a bit variable, but…. It is still freaking amazing! In all my twenty years+ experience of photo editing I have never seen anything like it! I have tried to “fix” out of focus photos with sharpening tools etc but really it’s just increasing grain contrast so the viewer’s eyes to think that it is more in focus but the amount of loss in real details and graininess limit it’s use severely. Come Remini! It has actually done the seemingly impossible! It makes blurry photos look sharp as if it is in good focus. As I have said before the result may vary so you really have to check your result carefully as sometimes the AI may make a really weird mistake and make you subject look ridiculous but this is not very often, and when it does it can often be fixed manually with another app like photoshop. The only real rescue I know of for an otherwise un-usable out of focus blurry shot. The subscribed version is definitely worth it as it gives you a few result so you may pick the best one. Suggestions: -iPad Pro compatible interface as this app is definitely professionsl worthy and we like to edit on a big screen. -a more professional looking interface. -Where is the video enhance option advertised? -***option to preserve the original Metadata!!!!!!!!

App not working. I have been using this app for quite a few months now and in recent days I had suddenly problems opening it. Yesterday it stopped working altogether. I would have given it a „5 star” but now…

I love this app but.. I’ve been using this app for ages now, just messing about with photos of the kids and what not, nothing serious. I loved the colourising of old photos and scratch removal.. all of which you took away, I could handle watching an advert (which you likely receive some money for) and the 5 photos a day limit. But now you’ve made it so I have to watch an advert to preview, then to save AND now it has a watermark on it as well…. I’m Not one to pay big bucks for an app and $30 a month for something I use once in a while is just not going to happen, and now there’s double adverts AND a watermark it’s a case of, you either make the app more attractive for free users (who watch adverts you likely get paid for) or you’ll probably lose customers. Word of mouth is how I found this app, your free user base who tell people how great your app is would totally add to the amount of people willing to pay for it. All it’s going to take is someone to bring out a very similar app with less restrictions on its free users and you’ll lose that spotlight. Great app, love the results. Too restrictive now and has become more restrictive over time for its free users (who watch adverts) and too expensive for the casual user. You need to find a comfortable in between.

Disappointed. They’ve added a watermark to the photos and there’s no option to remove it unless you pay. So not only do you have to watch two ads to sharpen a photo (which was fine with me), now you watch two ads and it still has a watermark on it. I’ve used this app for the longest time, paying if I have a lot of photos, safe to say this change is disappointing and I have no use for the app anymore.

Stupid quota. This app enhances imagines very well but the fact that if you can’t pay for the enhanced version of the app you have to wait a whole day for so called ‘quota’ to refilled is stupid. I have important legal documents that have to be enhanced because they weren’t taken very well that are time sensitive. I don’t mind the ads as long as I get to enhance stuff as much as I want. Very disappointed and will be using another app that doesn’t have a stupid quota on the amount of photos you can enhance in a day.

The only app that actually works. Remini was the first app I found on the App Store to enhance photos and it did a mind blowing job yea the faces still look weird and smooshed like a painting but I actually does very good at showing details. But then I thought i could try out other apps turns out none of them make a difference they make faces look photoshopped some do alright but still weird and I tried even the best reviewed enhancer apps but still nothing. So if there is one app you should trust it’s Remini does a whole lot better than everything else Developers if you are listening thank you for this app you did soo much better than other apps keep up the fantastic work

Regarding losing most of the tools I paid for. I have been notified that Remini is removing all their tools except for Enhance, including Enhance plus. I purchased my 12 month subscription in good faith that I would have access to all the editing options including 5 enhance plus edits each month. Now I’m being told to hurry up and use any enhance plus/pro credits I have before they remove that feature at the end of the month. so now I have to rush and find photos to apply them to. This is a total rip off as I am no longer getting what I paid for. Are you now going to charge extra for those tools which I have already paid for to be available in the future or are you just withdrawing them altogether?This is a very disappointing business plan for the consumer and I wonder, going forward, how the customer can trust your company and have faith that you will deliver what you promise. A week ago I would have written a glowing review, now I just feel let down and disappointed.

Was great. Have enjoyed this app a lot, but it was annoying that after paying for the option of creating avatars, the images were watermarked. But what is worse is since I updated the app today, it no longer works. It thinks about opening, then crashes.. Hopefully you’ll fix it otherwise I certainly won’t be renewing my subscription, disappointed 🥴

Amazing!. I’ve tried finding an app that could enhance my photos and drawings and have always been disappointed, this one is amazing, the results appear subtle when viewing zoomed out, when looking at the pixels up close it is incredible

Love the app, but…. I love this app and use it all the time for photo enhancement, however, the video enhancement takes hours and hours to apply. Does it really need 5hours to enhance a 30 second video? If that was fixed it would be the perfect app.

Amazing!. This app is not what I expected, I first downloaded this app because I saw it all over Tik tok so I had to try it. Once I downloaded it I tried out some blurry photos and black and white photos and just like that it went from blurry to clear! Amazing app and def recommended

Amazing app. I paint portraits from old photos. And I constantly struggle trying to see details in older faded pictures. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I uploaded my first photo to this app. I could see facial features that were impossible to see in the original photos. This app is going to make my portrait painting so much easier!

Not so good. Everyone like to unblur their pictures and it removes most of the blur but I don’t think it removes all of it also their is way too many ads, like you have to watch an ad just to do one thing and it’s very annoying and how you have to pay just to make pictures look decent is not good I think everything should be free and you’re pretty lucky I am giving you 2 stars

I’m pleasantly surprised at how well this app works!. I have a pretty shaky hand, and a lot of blurry photos that I’ve been meaning to edit. I’ve tried a bunch of other editors before, but they don’t really cut it - some even worsen the quality. But with this app, it literally took seconds to enhance my pictures and the results were so good. I can’t believe that it actually works! Thank you for developing this app. <3

Great app just one thing. The app is absolutely immaculate the one thing that just needs to be changed is the quora every time I want to remaster more photos it’s says it’s run out and he only way to have unlimited photos it to pay 13 dollars to have unlimited photos if you could just make it so you don’t run out of the quora that would be great keep up the good work great app 100 out 100 👍

Very good app. This is a very good app but you have 5 quota everyday and you have to wait until the next day. But it has the best features ever and really good quality. I hope you cancel the quota thing and make the users use it as much as they want without waiting the other day for their new quatos.

Excellent app!!! Hours, days, weeks of fun!!!. Even the free version would give an excellent result when processing my old out of focus pictures. Although, one may have to watch a 30 sec add for the process to start, then another for the result to arrive, it’s worth the wait: the results can be truly stunning! Really good photo enhancer. This app help save my bad shots or low red photos from the delete button. It also made some bad photos from the internet become high res masterpieces. It is not perfect as it didn’t save some photos but it has a 95% success rate. Overall it is a really good app and I would really recommend downloading it.

Giving an old dog new tricks. Remini is excellent at giving new life to old scanned prints, as well as old low res digital files. Looking at Remini Pro when I have more time to work on a large number of images.

Amazing clear photos. I have many photos of my first daughter that were taken with an older phone camera so the quality was grainy and blurry. This app has allowed me to turn them into beautiful clear photos. Words can’t describe how amazing it is to be able to look back at now clear non blurred memories of her. Would definitely recommend this app ❤️

Basically good but..... Some of the results are very good but some enhancements make you look odd when zoomed in,weird eyes,teeth and all hairy ! But my main gripe is after paying $38 for about 30 pictures I then have to sit through 2 lots of adds while the picture is processing. After paying all that and doing 5 pictures it then advises me that only 5 per day are allowed and I will have to wait till tomorrow to do more unless I subscribe . I just paid over a $1 per photo and am not permitted to use the app. No way will I subscribe Absolute ripoff.

Excellent but small bug. This appIs excellent it does exactly what it states and you don’t have to pay but you have the option to pay and get better features. I normally don’t have any issues with this app but since seven using it today it hasn’t let me see my finished products and keep saying to check the connection

Good but... The app is honestly amazing, the enhance quality is outstanding but the only issue is the amount of Remini pro, 5 isn’t enough for people who can’t afford it. So if there were more photos we can enhance for free than it would be the best editing app

Please bring back the paint effect !. Great app. Have used it for about two years now and never had any serious issues. Although the removal of the paint effect was a disappointing that was one of my most used effects. Id love to see it come back.

No customer service. While I absolutely love this app, I have an issue with my subscription. I have contacted them through email, Instagram and left feedback through the app and I have received no help at all. Somehow my subscription is not giving me the unlimited edits and I am stuck with the 5 free ones and needing to watch the ad. I’m paying for something I’m not receiving. Every time I try to ‘restore’ my purchase, it says I already have an active subscription on my Apple ID, but at the same time I can’t access it! Please fix this issue or contact me for some help resolving it, please.

Overrun with ads.. I got this app a couple of months ago and haven’t used it since. However, today I went on the app and it said that there were some changes. Before, you were able to simply upload your photo, enhance it, and then save it to your phone. Now, you have to either watch an ad to upload a photo or pay $1.50 a week to remove ads and make the pic better quality. Not only do you have to watch an ad to upload the picture but you have to watch one more just to save it to your device!? This is outrageous. Get this app if you don’t mind watching ads or paying every week.

Brilliant. This is a really good app but it has a few issues. It only enhances the face and not the whole photograph and it can be a bit hit & miss - some photos turn out incredibly awesome, others it does nothing and some it changes the look of the face to the point of looking really creepy lol. But I’m still loving this app, if it was able to work its magic on the whole photo I’d pay for a subscription for sure (I’d like to know what the cost of a subscription is and what the premium features are? There is nothing in the description as far as I can see outlining this) with the app as it is I’d pay a one time upgrade. Thank you to the developers 👍🏻😊

Decent app with nonsense pricing. The picture results vary from shockingly good to bad depending on your base image. It will leave artefacts such as a cross hatching effect in the hair and around eyes. Details like ears, teeth, tongue and eye highlights will sometimes leave you preferring your original blurry picture. Pricing is a confusing mess I have no way to understand. I was paying 7.99 a week yet I see others on here talking about a free version with ads. In the app I see 10 different subscription schemes. On this page under in-app purchases I see 66 different pricing schemes. I went looking for an explanation but couldn’t find one. I won’t keep paying until the quality improves, would be happy to see some ads, how do I use the app that way? I don’t know. Currently waiting for my weekly subscription to run out to see what the app does after that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The new update makes the app useless. By their own admittance, the developers stated they had removed and changed a lot of features available through the free features. I tried using the basic photo sharpening feature and found the quality was absolutely appalling. Big patches of blurring still remained, there was a lot of inaccuracies, and I could see they had really dialled down the quality of the feature for their non-paying users. Pop-ups pushed me hard to pay to get the “better” (read: usable) version of the photo. To use the free version, you have to watch a minimum of two ads, so they’re still getting revenue even through their “free” features. I guess the developers really want the best of both worlds: users paying a premium for a decent result, and other users providing ad revenue for a very low-quality result. But I’m just deleting the app now. I’ll manually sharpen my pics through photoshop instead. If you want me to watch 60 seconds worth of advertisements every time I edit a pic, you’ve got to give me something that’s somewhat usable.

They got greedy. This app USED to be really good when you didn’t have to pay to use it. You could fix photos and colourise them and you were able to do this I think 5 or 10 times per day which was reasonable considering it was free but then they got greedy with money and now all you can do is fix an image after watching an ad you can’t colourise anymore now everything is locked behind subscriptions

One the best editing apps. I love how you can edit blurry photos and give it a higher quality I would definitely recommend to use the app. One thing I don’t like is that there are ads and you only get to edit 4 photos or less a day you can’t edit as many photos as you want in one day. - another thing I don’t like is that it can’t edit a face it definitely changes the whole shape and it ain’t good as it edits other things. Overall I use this app and love it to edit my blurry photos. :)

Very unsatisfied. I recently purchased a subscription to Remini only to discover that after using it for 1 day all of the features had been taken away except for the Enhance and Enhance + feature, fortunately I only subscribed for 1 month, I feel for the people who have subscribed to this app for 12 months, if you are going to take away every feature that you advertise, you should at least let people know that, you have not given me what I believe I have paid for!!!

Very good app but one flaw. This app is very good but if you want to enhance non realistic photos like cartoons and wallpapers it’s not very consistent and blends details and removes shading from images, not an expert so I don’t know if it’s solvable or not but would like if possible. Great app 84.6 out of 85.7

Don’t buy subscription. Bought the subscription for a month or so then after I cancelled it will continue too charge you and then when u log onto the site too cancel the site will bug and not let you into your account , finally the site ended up working so I could actually cancel after a few months of still being charged after I cancelled

2023 REVIEW. TLDR: unless you have a stack of old photos to update within a week, don’t bother. Pics may also look kinda crazy. I used to pay for this app and was so happy with it. there used to be WAY more features. and the payment options were a MONTHLY PRO subscription for like $7 or you could purchase credits for your photos. They also used to log saved photos for you. Now they’ve dropped everything. All of the effects, and the log, and the subscription options are horrendous. you have to choose between $7 a WEEK just to use the regular version or $13 a WEEK for the PRO version. They give you ONE credit each DAY that you use it, but you cant purchase them anymore to use on pics. Remini, Other apps are introducing AI recovery. Please remember your market.

Trash. I’m not paying 13 dollars A WEEK to see a picture better. that’s literally 676$ A YEAR. With that money I could buy a ps5, 135 LITTLE CEASARS PIZZAS. If you want a better picture just get another phone instead of using this app.

Fraudulent and Deceitful. When you start by trying their service for free, they show you ALL the features (Sketch, Paint, Portrait, Video Enhance, etc.). Once you subscribe, and pay money, they all disappear and you stay with only the “Enhance” feature, unless you pay very expensively for the “Cards”, which are a sort of tokens that you have to buy separately and are quickly gone with each new usage of those extra features (some of which are ridiculously limited, like “Sketch”). I consider all this design to be deceitful and incredibly disappointing. I will cancel my subscription and will never come back.

one of the easiest and best at unpixelated pics. 1. After trying several, it's one of the best out there to unpixalate and rehance pics. 2. Instead of trying to tackle it with Adobe software and tweak for hours, the Ai does it for you and fairly well! 3. Singe it's free even better! The extras paid (the paid PRO cards)are not really necessary to generate good unpixelated pics - u can simply use the basics to do a good job. 4. It would be even greater if the Ai could give you re-enhancements options (skin, eye whitening etc), retouching vintage old photos or even 3D spotlight/image re-enhancements.

Good on faces only. Works good on faces only (not hair or background at all) sometimes will add extra teeth inside someone’s mouth. App doesn’t open. I used to love this app, even paid money for subscription because I used it all the time but now it doesn’t even open. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it’s making me upset because if you pay for something you expect it to work. I would like to urge the developers to fix it. Other than that I think it is worth it for most old and/or blurry photos

No longer works. This used to be a reasonably good app. Then I had to uninstall and reinstall for space management, and after reinstalling it doesn't let me log in, so I'm left with just the very limited free account and annoying ads. Can't 'restore' subscription either, it just says there is already an active subscription with this account. Yeah, I know that, that’s why I’m trying to 'restore'… I see a lot of similar issues other people are reporting online. Don’t waste your time with this app now.

Greedy. Was a good app till it suffered from greed I used it only for the enhance feature, and that was like less than 12 times a year so made no sense to pay for a subscription. They slowly started locking features and making people pay now to access what was free. Ads in the free one went from 30 seconds to a minute, had to watch 2 ads before being able to save pics. And now when you save the pic they slap their logo on it unless you pay the subscription

Amazing. This app is amazing for un-blurring photos, making your photos into art and more. I absolutely recommend it! Good job👍

Not sure why you need access to ALL my photos for storage. I like the app so far, however I don’t think I should have to grant the app FULL access to my photos just to save it. None of my other photo editing apps require this. They all are “selected photos only” and “add photos only”. This app does should NOT require full access to my photos in order to save it. Will have to delete it unless you change this requirement.

chase a bag, but at what cost?. if you're wondering about the actual enhancing itself, remini is almost preposterously good for uprez-ing blurry faces n stuff of the sort. if that's what you're looking for, i'd definitely give it a 5 for that, but as a long time (way over a year) user of the app, i've watched as features that were perfectly free previously were stripped away from me or locked behind a paywall (2x enhance used to be free). i use the app, but i don't use it THAT much to be shellin out money for a subscription. and the ads are egregious these days. one 30 second ad for the initial upload, one to save and one to exit. 1 minutes 30 of ads just for one image ??? it never used to be that bad. it used to be one 30 and, if you're lucky, one 15. we had a good thing going! by all means the developers deserve money for remini (it works crazy well), but gradually taking away features from free users is just... kinda sucky. after all, if it ain't broke, why try to fix it? i don't think i'll ever see the vision.

Downhill due to greed. This app USED to be amazing. The editing was great, you had to watch a 30 second ad per image edited, but I understand they need to make money somehow. Then one ad turned into 3– okay fine, they wanted a bit more profit. Annoying but I still used it because it worked great. Well now, not only do you have to sit through THREE 30 seconds ads PER photo, you also have to pay $6 per WEEK to actually get the photo you just edited without their logo plastered over it. $312 per year to use an app? It’s gotten a bit ridiculous. So for that reason I’ve stopped using it.

Day 3 of being told I've reached my limit. I haven't generated any ai images in 3 days yet am still receiving the pop up that says I've reached my daily limit. Meanwhile, my subscription is running out.

Words can’t even describe. This is the most beautifully designed app that contains everything you need to perfect any photo. I was able to take screenshots of photo someone took with their phone of a very old yearbook page that contained an old blurry black and white photo of my recently passed grandfather. Thanks to this app, this holiday season I can gift my grandmother with a full color HIGH RESOLUTION photo of my grandfather the age he was when they met. It’s not even realistic - it’s completely and totally REAL. As if my grandfather were 17 again and taking selfie’s on a brand new iPhone 12 pro max. It just doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks guys. You’re software is a blessing. You have no idea.

3 stars. Your app is pretty amazing on a few levels. The way it puts a face into movie reels is quite astounding; however, putting the same face into a gif is very, very, very sketchy for some reason. You'd think putting a face into a gif would be a million times easier than footage from a movie, but lo and behold, the app really struggles with gifs, even simple ones, don't know why, I'm not tech-savvy enough. Anyway, that's my only real complaint, and it amounts more to confusion over why the gif animation is so poor, than a complaint. Other than that, it's really good. Is there anyone I can email to help me troubleshoot? Maybe the problem is on my end, but I don't think so; again, the movie/video feature works great, but the gifs 👎

Bleaches Skin?. When I first downloaded the app like 2 years ago I really enjoyed it. I stopped using it for a bit but just redownloaded with the new updates and everything, and I’m so disappointed to see that they’ve started WHITENING MY SKIN when I upload a photo. This honestly feels like colorism and the fact that I have no control over whether it happens or not is very disheartening. If I could give less stars I would. Disappointed is an understatement honestly. Do better. UPDATE: They’ve changed it to where you can enable or disable the change in color, except it won’t enhance the background color if you disable it. So you either get a beautiful background but bleached skin, or no edit to the color at all. Better than before but still disappointing

Works best on portraits of people. I’ve used this app on different kinds of photos to see how it does. It didn’t do so well on a photo of my cat, who has markings like a Siamese cat. It does a pretty good job making slightly blurry photos clearer. If there are dark spots on the faces or if the photo is too blurry, results can be weird. On a photo from ~1918, it turned a dark spot into a scar and bruise. On the actual photo, it was obvious there were no scars or bruises, just a stain on the photo. In some cases (with blurry photos), it will alter the person’s features enough that you wouldn’t recognize them. On just slightly blurry photos, it does a great job. Fun to use- I’m just using the free, 5 photo per day option.

Nothing else like this exists.. THE FUNCTION: It creates visual data in a photo where there was only a suggestion before. Blurry, pixelated, and/or over-compressed photos come out looking almost surreal in their clean crispness. Blurry and pixelated comes out as the whisper of hair that were lost in the original camera before the image file was first even saved. Take an antique photo of your great-great-grandfather that merely suggested what he may have looked like, run it through the app, and you’ll be face to face, in incredible detail, with someone you’d never otherwise have gotten to lay eyes on — its accuracy confirmed by your grandmother, gasping as she lays eyes on a face that until then, only existed in a fading memory. Just try it. THE DOWNSIDE: Unfortunately, it’s deliberately held back by resolution-limits on photos — something like 4MP — and by very short video clip limits, which they don’t even let you pay to bypass. I hope the limits on photo resolution and video length increase. I’d pay $1 for every five minutes of 4K video, or $3/month for unlimited 12MP photos.

Like and Dislike. Just started using and I certainly like what I can do although I think a dollar a week is really excessive! I don’t like that I cannot save the enhanced photos to my Apple photo app in my devices. I don’t like that I cannot just modify the original photo in my Apple photos app, the way I can with other editing apps. I don’t like that if I just save the enhanced photo to the Remini photo gallery, when I go back it doesn’t give me the option to share it or save it elsewhere! These are things that should all be integrated into this app to make it really user-friendly, and on a par with other editing apps!!! For these reasons I am only going to give it a three star rating even though I think it can do a pretty good job of improving photos.

It’s magic!. I’m seriously in awe of how amazing this app is! I had to crop an old picture off of my phone down to 1/10th of the original and then print it as an 8x10. I knew it would be blurry but it was really bad. Since it was being used as a memorial photo for a friend, I decided to try this app. I’m so glad I did! It’s 100x better! Super easy to use. Just beware that if you continue to enhance photos that you’ve already enhanced, they can start looking more cartoonish. But all you need is to perform the first enhancement and you’ll seriously love the results!

Video Enhancement Taking 3+ Days. After a few days of trying out this app using the free photo feature, I decided to purchase the paid subscription for the video enhancer. You go through a multi-step process and at the end it basically lists your video as “in progress”. I uploaded 2 videos. One took about a day to process. The other I am still waiting on after 3 days. This is a video I planned to post on Tuesday so I uploaded it on Sunday trying to get it ready. I’m at the point where I’m pretty much just going to give up on it, but that’s ridiculous for the fact that I paid $30 for a years subscription just for it to be basically useless unless I upload my videos a week or two before I want to post them.

For Head shots / Photos. 5 stars for the AI photos (headshots) 4 stars for Photo Enhancement 3 stars for the $9.99 a WEEK charge AI avatars are extra. Ie not included 5 stars for the chance to see what your kids might look like They were running a 99cent 1 week trial otherwise I probably would have never tried it. Company logo is at the bottom of all the 99 cent trial photos but they can be cropped out elsewhere. I'm assuming these are removed with the Pro version??? Doesn't actually say anywhere I could find. If you want to take headshots more frequently, the AI photos for the most part are really good. I did get one photo with 6 fingers in one hand but that was one out of lots. A small handful of the scenic ones looked like I was photoshopped (in front of the white house, etc.) but overall the quality was equivalent to what you might get from. I think if you want a lot of Head shots, its worth it as its less expensive than going to a professional Photo enhancement is limited so I probably wouldn't recommend this if that's your only need

Ultimately disappointed. I used to love this app until they changed it and took all of the additional features out. as someone who edits photos quite regularly I felt the colorizeand Descratch feature were extremely convenient as a starting point when I was restoring old photos, before finishing them up in photoshop. Not only was this convenient but it was a good quality. unbeknownst to me they removed all these features and I was still paying for an app that gave me 1/10 of what I had before for the same price. unfortunately I had to delete this app because it’s no longer serves a purpose that makes sense to me. if they bring all of those features back I would be happy to be a return customer and subscribe to whatever the cost is. I’m truly and ultimately disappointed

…. thiss app is so confusing.. it’s letting other people have free trails and i dont get one , there is so many other complaints and thats a problem … i dont see where we can watch ads to let it work or anything but the 2 other options you guys have which is pro where you get everything but for $9.99 a week, lite which is $4.99 a week. where is free trail.. where does it say free trail for me its not working for me and some others . I think this should be optional whether we can get the free trail for our choice or if we wanna go all out and buy something we probably won’t use again … IM DONE .

Crashes and Quality Decrease. For the past almost month now, any time I click on the app, it shows me a black screen for 5 seconds then crashes and exits me out completely (without even an error message or anything). The enhancement quality has also been decreasing over the last 6 or so months. I still don’t understand how you advertised that the AI enhancement was going to get better and more focused and THAT’S why you deleted all your other features (like coloring a b&w picture and video enhancements). I used to have a monthly subscription until you cheated me out of my money for two months (it took over two weeks to get an email response and another week to get my refund). Not sure what the deal is and I rarely write reviews and even more rarely write negative ones, but I’m nearing my end of chances.

A Photographer’s Viewpoint. I deal with photos every single day. New, old, worn, etc. Every type. Digital and physical. I’ve never come across a technology as good as this is to help ‘re-liven’ old photos. Note I didn’t say restore, that’s not what this does. It uses a VERY impressive AI to face match and blend, which - for 98% of what I am trying to do - works like magic. To see people again, who have been gone for decades, pop back to life in old photographs with new detail is truly AMAZING. I know the tech will get better every day. But, to have this now? It’s insanely worth the subscription price.

It makes my friend look ugly. So I never left a review before but I couldn’t not talk about this. This app is really good at making blurry photos clear, but it’ll guess what the face looks like. Usually it does an okay job, but no matter how blurry the original photo is, it always makes my friend Julia look like a crack head. It gives her busted up teeth and crossed eyes and all that. Everyone else will look perfectly normal, but then there’s Julia over here looking like 👹. One photo was near perfect to being with but I just wanted it a little sharper and it made Julia look like she has dead teeth. Every single one of her teeth looked broke, chipped, and gray. What’s the beef between this app and my friend? Idk.

WORST UPDATE. I truly used to love this app. It was easy to use and the results were beyond perfect. Now, with this new update, the app has become complete trash. For some reason, the app absolutely wants everyone to be white or light-skin colored. The exaggerated cartoony results are just one of the bad updates that the app continues adding to its already bad features, which makes it extremely hard to get a nice enhanced picture. I truly wish that the developers and everyone involved in this app listen to the many users who have already complained about this new issue. Back then, this app was one of the very few that did an excellent job of enhancing. Now, there are better apps that basically are doing what this app USED to do. Please fix it!!!! Or at least give us a “LITE” version that resembles the old REMINI.

Remini has become greedy. As everyone knows there are many trends on TikTok for example the mini you or like your child I see many people do it and I decided to hop on the trend but when I searched up a tutorial and tried it did not work so I look again to see if I’m doing it wrong because everyone else got it free but they changed that and now you have to pay weekly or monthly just to change/edit a photo almost everything in the app you have to pay for I payed to make ai characters because I wanted to see why it costs money but in my opinion it should be free and they knew everyone wanted to do the trend but I think they got greedy and made you pay money there’s not even a free trial so I was looking forward to this but I’m just disappointed DO BETTER REMINI. But I had to give credit to the other things such as being able to edit your photos and make Barbie filters so ya

my thoughts on this app!. its great . I LOVE IT . i just dont like that they distort faces sometimes and mess up their features, creating a whole different person. however, i would assume that is just because the app is run by ai, so we can’t expect it to do very well all the time. HOWEVER. it does exceptionally well on photos like art, and makes it much more clearer, which i appreciate a lot! i havent used any other features so there arent any comments i wish to make about it, except for maybe the videos? i wish you didnt need to do much more extra for it, and could just.. use the features, yknow? so people wont get frustrated with your app regarding all the ads and the need to buy memberships for extra features or enhancements... other than that, it’s pretty good !!

Here’s my honest opinion. It’s honestly a really great app! I love the enhancer feature and the Ai feature. While it is quite expensive for the features you do get, I feel like more could be added to make this app even more worth it, like a couple AI feature. Since the baby trend have taken the internet by storm, so many people have been saying “I wish there was a way for them to be two parents instead of one”. HOWEVER; The only way I would see this concept working is if you add a feature where you can combine facial features with AI then allow them to place the face on the image. It’s just a thought though. Keep up the great work!

Aggravating Ad and Subscription Heavy. What this app achieves is not always perfect but quite interesting. It generally shines in its ability to correct a variety of most image problems. That said, the free version is plagued with annoying advertisements that take up about 30 seconds of your time for each image. Of course, options include purchasing tokens or subscribing to a plan that a not cheap. It would certainly be more appealing if the Remini app could just be purchased outright with all features. If you’re someone who has a lot of images that need loving care then this business model might be appealing. For the rest, watching ridiculous ads and getting stuck with monthly payments it’s likely not worth the effort. The user must decide. Would love to rate the app higher but the business plan is a killer.

Really impressed but can use some fine tuning.. I’ve had this app for some time and I’m happy to say that it’s worked in my favor 80% of the time. The problem is that Remini enhances sometimes in a way that makes faces in an image or an image itself artificially smooth/AI like. It’s hard to actually use these enhanced photos professionally when they look like they’ve been overly edited or fake. I would suggest a slider that mixes in how much the enhancement takes over a photo because then it’d be much easier to control how much you want it to be smooth rather than being bound to 2 or 3 options of enhancements. I hope my suggestion is considered and something similar to this can be implemented in the near future!

Remini pro needs more subscription options.. I love this app and I’ve used it for many months but to have pro it’s $5 a week. Although that doesn’t sound bad after a month that’s $20. That’s more then a standard Netflix subscription. I would honestly pay a one time fee for the app then do $5 a week on top of that to even get full access it’s $10 a week which adds up to $40 a month. Remini pro needs more payment options. Maybe a One time fee, Monthly subscriptions, yearly subscriptions. Facetune has a $5 month subscription, $10 a month subscription, and a one time fee to u lock everything and it provides so much more then the Remini app. Remini pro feels like a quick cash grab. I’d love to support the company but rationally nobody wants to spend five or ten dollars a week.

Newest update ruined the app — cancelled my subscription. I used to love this app— I’ve been a loyal user and PAID member of remini for over two years now. I often recommended it to people too. But I cancelled my subscription after seeing that the features such as video enhancement, scratch remover, and colorization were taken away. I had probably 70 pro cards saved up, I figured I would be able to use them after my membership was no longer active but it looks like they’re all gone after the update. what a WASTE of money. You could’ve at least given users a heads up that the features would be removed instead of just deleting them one day along with the pro cards that people -paid- for. After this I have no desire to support the developers with a paid subscription and it makes me rethink using the app even on a free basis. Really disappointed.

disappointed in the removal of the video enhance feature.. i've used this app countless of times before the update and i was initially very pleased with this new update. when i saw that the 5 picture limit was replaced with an unlimited photo enhancement with ads, i was ecstatic. my enthusiasm faded, however, after noticing that all the other features, including the ai paint feature AND, most importantly, the video enhancement feature, were all completely removed. i was considering buying the pro subscription, but after all these great features were removed, i'm absolutely going to pass. this is very disappointing. i think there was an opportunity there for the video enhancement to be optimized to be even quicker, perhaps, with the new update but instead they just removed a ton of features that were very useful.

Evolving app, better results every time. This app gets better with every update. If I do a picture I enhanced a year ago, the result will be ten times better with the most recent version than any one before it. This app is getting MUCH better with hair and clothes with each update. It's getting better with eyes. It's still struggling with shadows on the face with certain images, so brighten them before running it through the enhancer, if you can. It will keep you from getting a weird fake eye in a dark image that was supposed to be a wink, lol. I love this. I restore old band photos, old childhood pics, you name it.

Remini. I love this app, yes sometimes the pics look like they applied makeup, for the most part it’s a good app. I do miss the different options you were able to choose from, I’ve been using this app for 3+ years. My biggest concern is all the different prices, can you tell me why there are like 20+ price options and what the differences are, and why you have so many?? You have lite, and pro weekly at various price points, then the same Monthly, then there are more yearly, why so many, and if I choose the yearly, which is the better option for using throughout the year, are you going to sock me with another charge like you did before. Like I said, love this program, but the pricing you sock me with is ridiculous.

App not working. I tried to generate the AI avatars today, but it keeps telling me something went wrong and to try again later or contact support. When I tried to contact support it directed me to Gmail… which I don’t have.. So if you don’t have a gmail account you can’t contact support. Fantastic. Lastly, the app offer a one time payment of $4.99 for the AI avatar which is what I did, however, when I looked at my subscriptions I found that this all has been charging me $4.99 every week since. I gave it 2 stars because in the beginning the avatar worked and everything was great. But the fact that it isn’t working and I can’t contact support without Gmail and I’ve been charged $5 a week really, I couldn’t go any higher.

Horrible app, too many ads. I deleted it within 5 minutes of downloading. It barely worked, and you need to watch a 30 second unskippable ad to do anything. I had to watch an ad to enhance the photo, then another to remove the watermark, and then another ad just to save the photo. Like around 2 minutes of my time was wasted watching ads on this app or closing out of the ad pop ups. Not just that, they’re constantly pushing their “upgrades” in your face. They enhance the photo just slightly to make it a little less blurry, but not awesome enough to be satisfied. They then try to get you to pay for two different upgrades to increase the photo quality to a satisfactory level. It’s ridiculous. I understand they make their money through their ads, but you can’t get a breath in without seeing an advertisement.

So much potential, but not great.. Parts of the enhanced photos are so great and still recognizable as the people you know, but Remini keeps trying to add teeth. It’s horrifying. Teeth on top of closed lips, teeth on top of highlights in *hair* (nightmare), teeth on a lighter area on a chin. It’s just so awful, they should add an option for “Don’t Add Teeth” Light and shadow in eyes are often misinterpreted, resulting in Marty Feldman eyes. In family portraits showing more than just a headshot, the bodies and background remain blurred, the faces look smoothed over and glued on. It’s just too fake to make use of in any way you’d want to use a photo. After seeing how this sometimes renders my living relatives into unrecognizable faces, I know if I were to use this on 19th c ancestral photos I would lose any factual record of what they really looked like.

Great App but they Deleted all Enhancing Features 👎🏾👎🏾. I personally believe this was the best app on here and would give 5 stars if they didn’t just remove all the features. Especially the Video Enhancer. They had about 7-10 different Editing Enhanced Features that were great and deleted all of them and only have Photo Enhancing. I don’t really understand this I find it completely ridiculous, what is the point if you can’t also edit your videos smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ or choose the editing filter you want for your photos. Now it’s only 1 Editing Enhancer. Why pay for just that, I want to pay for everything that was available before the deletion. 👎🏾👎🏾

It’s good but.... It’s a good app but sometimes I feel like it doesn’t do as good a job as it could there have been a couple times where I use it but it only does the faces like if you have a picture of a dog that’s kinda blurry it won’t do it because it doesn’t consider it a face and they looked kinda cartoonish and it looked like it was plastered to there head it also can’t do super hard jobs I had one photo that was super blurry and you couldn’t tell the difference in the photo I think this is a good app but if you need one for tough jobs or don’t want your faces to look plastic like don’t get this app

Amazed with the quality!. This has helped make my TikTok & Facebook reels videos clear & pro looking! It improves the quality of my content thus far. However I am only offering a 4 star rating because you don’t have the option to purchase the software outright versus a costly subscription service. When you consider changing your services to offer a permanent purchase of this software I will for certain consider Remini. Because the weekly & monthly recurring costs are a bit much I am having to cancel my Remini subscription. I’m sorry that you all have not offered the most cost effective solution yet.

Amazing!!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗. This app is the best AI app so far. I however don’t like the “come back tomorrow feature” I feel as though if you subscribe to something you should have unlimited access and not a roadblock telling you that you can only generate 20 images a day and to come back tomorrow. I’m not even sure how that feature got toggled, because I generated more than 20 images for the day then it came out of nowhere. I feel the “unlimited saves” is false advertising giving you get a msg that you’re pretty much using the app too much and you need to come back tomorrow. Other than that it’s a cool app

Gets worse with every update. Remini was pretty good a year ago when it just cleared up the photos, but it gets worse with every update. The “face beautifier” addition is super annoying since it does it automatically to every picture and you have to remove it every time (which isn’t instant, it takes a few seconds per picture). I use Remini to sharpen pictures of my always on the move children, I don’t want them to look like they are wearing makeup. But when I tried to use it today it says I need to pay $189 a year to have access to the pro features. The thing is, the only reason I need access to the pro features is to TURN THEM OFF. I already pay $29/yr for this app just so I can use it add free. And now I have to pay over 6x as much just to have the ability to turn off features I never wanted in the first place? No thanks!

I lost my subscription! No more unlimited downloads. :(. First Off, I love this app. Many wonderful filters to use. My current issue is that I lost my subscription and cannot get it back. It says “Apple ID is already used“. This is false because it is the only ID that I used. This is very frustrating because for three months I’ve been unable to use the free version. I tried everything and nothing is working. I have this on two devices. My iPhone and iPad. And every time I switch to another one, I get logged out of the other one. So annoying. Can you please help fix this and get my subscription back? This app gets five stars otherwise. Thank you.

Pretty good but could be better. I like using this app on blurry photos.. a lot of times selfies using snapchat or other apps don’t turn out super clear so I will use this app to make them look more crisp. But depending on how blurry the photo is.. sometimes it makes it look weird and if you zoom in you can see pixelation, it’s kind of hard to explain. I feel like the Enhance + option is pretty much useless because it doesn’t really do any better than the regular enhance feature.. and you have to buy token to use enhance + EVEN if you pay for the pro version of the app. I do like this app and think it is neat, but I think it could be better and wish it didn’t leave pixels on the photos or distort features sometimes.

Best app ever!!!!. I can’t say enough good things about this app! They let you use their app for free, no gimmicks, 1 day free trial and then subscription payment, none of that!! Their app runs on ads so every time you want to enhance a photo, you just wait till the short ad is done and voila, you get an amazing high res pic!!!! This app is seriously a freaking life saver, it makes pictures so beautiful especially when the pictures are initially low quality resolution and/or pixels/grainy. It makes the photo look like it’s just been high resolution the entire time! I love this app so much I hope it never changes!!!

Amazing App, But Can Be Wonky. Lemme start by saying I absolutely LOVE this app—I use it so much now and as an artist it’s a great way to add a bit of OOMPH to my realism pieces (that might be cheating a bit but who is gonna know). However, I give it 4/5 instead of 5/5 bc it has a bit of trouble with faces that aren’t 100% full front view sometimes and the less initial detail in your picture the more likely the face will come out weird looking and off, likely because the AI doesn’t really know how to process those and has to do a lot more “guesswork” than with better input pictures. This is however a very MINOR complaint and I would still HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants to restore old family pictures or add a bit more realism to their drawn portraits.

They really scammed me out my money. So to use this app you have to purchase a WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION…. I wanted to do the AI generator so I can see what my child would look like … I purchased the subscription picked the 12 photos for the photo to never load and I tried it so many times it says I’ve exceeded the limit to my subscription and to upgrade to pro for 9.99 for unlimited use … mind you I never seen the picture yet so I wanted to still try to I upgraded it .. why does it still not allow me to see any pictures or use the app if just says come back tomorrow even after I upgraded my subscription so they just got a good $16 dollars from me. For my picture to never load and it never upgraded my account. Your are supposed to be able to get unlimited access so it shouldn’t even say that

Needs better model variety. I downloaded to try the AI photo function and after trying it, I am very glad I utilized the free trial feature. I uploaded 10 photos, a mixture of professional headshots and selfies, but all clear, straight-on and good quality images. I tried generating photos using three different model images before I gave up. As a plus size person, every image that came back looked like I had been put through a vacuum tube. I would recommend adding some model images that look more like real people, or at least a more diverse range of people and body types. Giving two stars because the processing time was good, app was easy to use and I could see certain face features replicated well, even my split dyed non-natural hair colors came through. Just very strange end results that did not look anything like me lol.

Frustrating prices and features. Frustrating experience. Their details say the desktop version is included. Because I was sitting at my computer at the time I decided to just buy the $25/month version. Then found out that if you purchase from the computer that they don’t honor the ‘phone’ version. They only honor if you buy the phone version first!!! So I decide to cancel the web and buy from the phone instead and then find out they only have a weekly and annual plan…no monthly! (But monthly is on the website). After over a week of tech support messages I’m either stuck with $25 a month with no phone app, or $9.99/week in order to buy from my phone. Great app, but it feels like their pricing structure is a bit predatory by forcing you to pay double, or the annual plan.

Amazing app, it gives you want you downloaded it for!. This is a simple app. You download because you think it’s gonna fulfill your needs. And it does! If you want an app that gives you really defined pictures, this is the one to use :) all there is, is that sometimes the pictures might have too bad of quality and the object or person might seem…discombobulated 😅and you have to watch an ad to get it refined, and you have to watch an ad to download it on your device. Other than that, it’s pretty good! I really recommend this app. I don’t think I’ll ever delete this app unless it’s for space, or if I find a better app :) have a nice day now!

Super annoyed. This app used to work great until all these new fixes. It changes the faces and teeth of the pictures so now my children look like they have falsies, and or as if their complexion is much lighter. it goes beyond smoothing out complexion. It literally changes the color of my melaninated babies. Almost to the point where the people in the picture are not even recognizable. This new AI feature is not it. I much prefer the original version. I’m kind of bummed out that my subscription renewed. unfortunately, this is not even usable for me any longer. Updated: Try to give it some time but it’s super annoying that everybody wants to be the first AI app. Every time I run a picture through here they turn into a cartoon character. I hope this is not the change we’re making in photos. Artificial photos at its best.

Pretty amazing. It doesn’t let you chose the individual items you want to edit (exposure, contrast, etc) but it has an automatic function that is pretty amazing! I was able to salvage 2 pictures from 75-85 years ago and make them pretty clear and a lot less grainy. It’s a little pricey at $52 p/year, but if your old pic needs serious help, it’s worth it. Besides, you can cancel after you’re done editing your photo. I happen to do ancestry work for my family, so I have to make these pics as clear as I can for future generations, so I’ll be keeping it.

This all was good when this company first started, terrible now.. When this company first came out this app was the best app for upscaling photos. They even added a video upscaling feature that was also great, but now they announced they were making this much much better and what did they do? Took out video editing, bumped up the price and has stayed still for another a year now. With their updates always saying improvements when there really isn’t. Oh! And they even added a pc version but you of course have to pay. This isn’t really a photo upscale, they actually look into a data base of similar photos and use small details make your photo not technically yours anymore. You will figure this out by the quality of photos that look really off. This app was good, there’s much better now.

Good idea, but need major work on it.. Update on your app. There’s been no improvement to fix the problems with you app and what your charging for your app isn’t worth it. Your app would be great, but it need some major work done on it. I’m still old school, digital photos are great, but still love my 35mm camera. Here’s the problem with your app. I took out some old photos one major photo is of my dad and his best friend. I used your app and Oh My God, I couldn’t believe how your app took a photo that was slightly blurry and needed some tone adjustment and your results was horrible. Your app took my dad’s friend glasses on his face left part of the glasses on his face, the other half was on his lips. Part of his lip was up to his nose, and the results got worse. So I did it again, and it came out the same. I took another old photo used your app again the results was very bad. Out of all the photos I tested your app on, I only got one good results. For some reason your app changes the person face. I restore old photos but wanted an app that wouldn’t take me a long time to restore. The old fashion way could take me almost two months. I would love to buy your app, but not like the results I get. Cindy

PLEASE FIX. when using this app previously with older versions, it used to enhance the quality so nicely. now, every time you enhance a photo it adds this layer of color and you have to pay $5 a week to use the color tool just to get the original version without the layer of pinkish color. also, the app does NOT enhance photos well. it adds a weird horrible effect and destroys the quality. the point of this app is to make low quality photos high quality, right? well it doesn’t achieve that anymore. i’ve started having to use the “Vivid” app first and then use remini and even then, it’s not as high quality as this app used to be. please FIX IT and make it like the older version. once this app got really popular, everything switched.

This app exceeded my expectations!!!. I’m a photo editor, so when I heard about this app, I wanted to try it out and see what the buzz was about... I’m so glad I’ve decided to try it out!!! It does an amazing job on enhancing old and blurry photos while not taking away from the original. It’s colorization feature really impressed me, and is probably one of the most satisfying features on this app. It will have you spending the rest of your evening searching for old photos but at the same time, saves you hours of editing without having to bust open Photoshop and doing the work yourself. An excellent app!

Price Increase. I usually won’t complain about subscription services given that I run a subscription based service myself. I liked the app initially and felt 99 cent a week was fair for the output quality it was offering. To change that price to $2.99 per week ($12 monthly) is actually quite insane for access to a feature that doesn’t even make the pictures clear without so much texture & pixelation & at times, may or may not work at all. Unfortunately, I haven’t been using the app as much because this sort of pixelation is a dead giveaway that the photo was “enhanced.” Again, I don’t mind supporting this app, but please introduce improvements that at least match the price. Please improve the enhancements to be more smooth & please improve the enhancements of various hair styles and textures.

It’s changed. So I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and I use to pay for the months subscription of 2.99 then it went to a weekly subscription of 2.99 which was fine eventually though it became a weekly subscription for 4.99 and at that point I unsubscribed because I don’t use the app that much so paying $20 a month didn’t make any sense to me also I don’t like how the app has started taking the color out of the photos making them almost complete white and the teeth on pictures when I smile always render as cracked jagged teeth because I have braces and the software doesn’t recognize that so to end my statement I’m not going to pay for something that lightens my skin and cracks my teeth
