BEST RESUME APP!!!. This is the best Resume app in the App Store. Version 3.0 works pretty well and offers functionality that was lacking in the prior version. So I don't know what the one star reviews are about but some of the complaints are baseless and outright lies. Needless to say, they look pretty fishy to me. Also, note that Resume Designer 3 and another app named Resume Designer Pro are not from the same software company. Resume Designer Pro is a completely different app that lacks the functionality in Resume Designer 3. It looks like a developer is trying to fool potential buyers into thinking that Resume Designer Pro is a deluxe version of the original Resume Designer 3. IT IS NOT! Resume Designer 3 is the app to get.

Good App. For the most part, this is a very good in that it helps organize a good presentation for a resume. It would be helpful if there were some more word processing functionality on the cover letter that would allow you to adjust for spacing between header, date, and body of the letter. A lot of white space is left between these and this sometimes causes the letter to go beyond a page or page and half that is most desirable. It would also be helpful if it were a little easier to move subsections from one place to another. But, overall, it is a good product and, it is very useful for creating and editing resumes on the iPad.

The Best. I've tried a few resume apps and this is definitely the best one. It's easy to use and I like that it converts to a PDF when you email it. Perfection!

Easy to use.. Pretty straight forward app. Not money wasted.

It's okay.. It's a nice and simple format for your résumé and is easy to create. However, it would be nice if there was an option to send the document as a .doc instead of simply a .pdf version. There are many job application websites that require you to copy and paste the text of your résumé onto their application. I simply could not do that with this app, and had to waste more time to re-type everything on to my laptop computer. The whole point of an app like this is to save time. I think there needs to be a bit more thought put into this app from the viewpoint of a job-seeker.

Love this app!. This app has been great...u can literally change my resume/cover letter on the go and it's always with me!

Easy to use. Easy to use and nice ability to send the resume in PDF form. On the downside, you still have to input your own info, which can be difficult for some less creative individuals. Some sample templates of career paths ie) nursing, industrial, teaching, sales etc... Would be a very nice addition to encourage input. I suppose that would be a whole other app or a multi hundred dollar resume service LOL. Overall would buy and use again

Good but could be Better. This app is easy to use, however it does not make a resume stand out. There is no way to place borders around it or underline certain key words or statements. Pretty much when doing a resume with this app, it will be plain jane like. Personally I like to doctor my resume to make things "stand out" or pop out to potential employers. If they could make a few adjustments with this app it would make this resume builder OUTSTANDING!

Resumes. This is freakin awesome!!!

Good. This app is very helpful and easy to use. I do have one hang up. You ought to be able to fill out a section, say a "Work Experience" entry, and stash it away for future use on any resume. I find myself constantly creating a new document and copy/pasting material from other documents; it would be nice to be able to just pull from a master list of "Work Experience".

Nice App. I like several things about this app....the automatic professional format and ease of just plugging in information. However, I didn't like that I was unable to permanently move a line over in the Work Experience section, when a second line was needed to finish a sentence. I wanted to move one space beyond the bullet for a better appearance. Otherwise, it's almost a perfect app for me.

iPad 2. I'm a truck driver and this is a Very easy app to use to make a great resume for so many different jobs and be able to save each one to send out for different positions while searching for the job or jobs your interested in .. The only thing I would like to see added is that we can attachments/ photos etc for records that employers ask for ex: drivers license / passports / med cards

helpful resume organizer, not great. Great app for getting started writing your resume. You can save mult copies of the same resume and tweak the cover letter and addresses to send to mult potential employers. Easy interface and organizing tools. Have issues with it launching about 50% of the time over the last week that I have owned the app. Once I close the app fully (or even restarted my ipad once) it finally started up. Hopeful to get some bug fixes in the future to give it 5 stars

Resumé writing made easy!. I have never been able to write a resume this fast, this easy, with this professional of an output, before this app. It was a lifesaver in a time crunch, and now I use it constantly to tweak and send (beautiful PDFs of) my resumé to anyone. The format is easily read by most application websites so that they pull the data straight from it without my having to enter much. Worth triple the price!

Waste of money: Difficult to edit, not enough control of format. The tiny little edit boxes with no scroll bars makes it very difficult and frustrating to edit your resume. And text selection is extremely finicky... Dragging the selection bars jumps around all over the place, causing you to have to re-select multiple times. Also, there's not enough control over the formatting. You can play with the font size with a slider, which is very difficult to move minutely (a + - toggle would be better), but you cannot play with the paragraph spacing at all. The only saving grace is the email in PDF format is awesome. Other than that, this was a waste of money. I chose to go back to MS Word.

Amazing and Simple!. Really love this resume builder… I do have one issue - the photo upload button isn’t working - either to take a photo or upload from Photos… seems like a bug? Thoughts?

Landing jobs. This app has brought so much game to my ability to really attract the employers eyes when filling out applications this is a must have app and it sets up your resume exactly the way that people want to see them when they are looking through applications!

Resume Designer. Do you dread putting your resume together? Get this app. It breaks the pieces into manageable bites, and then it takes all the headache out of formatting. You can produce a professional resume. The ability to make copies is ideal for creating new objectives or variations or slants on wording to match the different job opportunities. You'll be happy.

Misleading. I wanted this so I could fill out applications and upload resume from my phone.. Went to upload my resume to a website application I was filling out.. All it would search was my photo album. There's no way to upload your resume to a website application from your phone waste of time and 4$ Thanks a lot for nothing guys

Such an awesome straight forward app need more like this. So simple and very easy to use it isn't complicated at all but totally customizable. My resume came out on top and looks amazing I have even done several for friends and family great job on this app I will totally recommend worth way more than what I paid its investing in my future.

Great. Excellent tool

Perfect!!. I absolutely love this app. It's worth every penny. It is the easiest way to make or update your resume. You can start with the templates, that already include wonderful examples, and fill in your own information. You can then save it and open your resume in various other programs and apps, simply print it, or my favorite-- directly email it anywhere you'd like. I strongly suggest trying this app!

Great resume app. To the point this is the best resume apps on the App Store. My only request would be more features to personalize the resume. Other than that. I have used this app and I have found jobs with it. The resumes look very professionally done in minutes.

Cleanly formatted résumés in your pocket ready to go. This app is NOT for designers and graphic artists who need to show of their skills with their résumé's originality. Instead, this app is for those of us in fields where a future potential employer needs to read and absorb your education and experience cleanly and quickly, for those who literally don't have the time to create proper design and formatting in a word processing app, such as those in medical fields. Some reviewers complain about lack of customization, but that is incorrect: there is a high level of customization as to what information is provided, and some customization to the formatting, but little customization to the overall layout and colors. Therefore, this app is perfect for those who need a clean professional résumé quickly, and to be able to make updates quickly without worrying about cutting&pasting the proper formatting. This update adds the ability to add a photo, and that is one feature I was hoping would be added. WISH LIST: 1. Be able to change the color of the section header text(or the horizontal lines) 2. Use on iPad in PORTRAIT mode also.

Great app! Wish I could give it ten stars!. This is my second review after using the app for a few days. I bought this a few days ago and I like it a lot better than WinWay ! The app is a great app as it is easy to work with and I was able to upload the résumé. Support is readily available with quick turn around on replies.

My resume has never looked so good!. Every employer I've shown my resume to that was designed by this app has always been very interested whether I took the job or not.

Good but needs to handle cover letter better.... Good app overall. I wrote my résumé and cover letter on long car drive and emailed it to a potential employer. Only flaw is that when you open/save your résumé in another app, something like googleDrive or a PDF reader, JUST the résumé is opened in the new app and the cover letter doesn't go with it, it was pretty annoying. But overall this app helped me.

Easy to use resume app. Easy to use while allowing for customization. Final product looks clean and professional. The one missing thing that prevents a 5-star rating is that there is only one template. It would be nice to be able to select and alternate appearance.

Almost Perfect. I gave it 4 stars, because I wanted to be able to adjust the spacing between sections, and couldn't find a way to do that. Also, I'd like to see alternative formats. Having said that, I really like the app. It is easy to learn, easy to use, and produces a very professional looking resume', even better than the one we paid for. Go ahead and try it, you won't be sorry.

Everyone should have this !!. I Don’t have a computer and haven't had to do my resume again in years.. but this app simplify’s EVERYTHING.. Select , Input , Preview Print SIMPLE

One flaw.... The developer needs to allow more than one line to enter job title/begin & end dates/company worked for. I would like to have at least 1 line for each of these items, in the Work Experience area. I really don't want to cram all of that information into one line. The app produces a nicely formatted resume, but I can't even make the minor changes that I want to make after I save it, because it is rendered in PDF format only. I would like to have a way to render the document in Word format as well, so I can change it up a little after it is created.

The best resume app to date!. This resume builder is simple and user-friendly. While there aren’t a lot of templates the ones offered are really perfect and the easiness of sizing and information input has never been more convenient for people like me who struggle with things like these. I definitely recommend this resume builder over the others here.

Not happy. I needed a quick resume for a position with my current employer. I saw this app and thought that it would be the answer. I was very wrong!!! The problem that I had with this app was the fact that the main information in the app always stayed in portrait orientation, but I had to type in landscape. This meant that you could not see what you were typing. The only positive is that it does result in a nice looking resume, if you can get the information entered. And, I was able to use the mail function for an incomplete form.

Worth every cent.. Fantastic, easy to use. Made a professional looking website overnight. Easy to generate PDFs to email wherever you want and generates simple but clean looking resumes with all sections pre allocated for you as you fill them out.

Ver 3.0.1/ ISO8 Issues. I love this app , but seems to have deleted all my stored Resumes on my iPad and wont download from the iCloud anymore, It's probably a ISO8 issue/glitch however I'm sure the guys are working to fixing this - Keep up the good work .....

Email function causes crash. This app started off great... Spend hours typing up my resume on an ipad...click the email function as per picture...app immediately closes. So if you want an resume only available on your ipad, this app is for you! Everybody else who needs to email a resume they spent hours on only to find out that you can't stay away!

Needs improvement. I like the ease and simplicity of this app, however I cannot up load my resume onto job websites which seems to be the way most jobs are advertised these days. Unless you have an email address to send to it's pretty useless.

Needs more... Would be great if I could take photos of academic transcripts, certificates and any other professional development courses I have done. Would like the option of being able to choose which documents to send with the resume.

Wow. Love this app, I've done so many resumes for friends. It's also very handy on my iPad mini, it makes it very portable and not at all an effort on the iPad. Once I've finished I just email them a copy then use my hp printer to air print it. And volá..........done. Too easy

Good app. So far I am loving the simplicity of this app ... To get around the not being able to upload to a job website issue I am emailing it to myself and uploading it from there ... A work around for sure but it gets the job done ... Will be happier when this is/if it can be rectified :)

Needs work but great none the less. I would give it 5, but I think a spell check feature and a proper punctuation feature would be great! Also if you could attach it to an email with out having to do it in the app. Last thing, when you take the résumé off your phone and put it on to your computer, it shouldn't be in a PDF file.

Simple and easy to use. I needed to quickly make a resume while I was away from my computer. This app was simple, easy to use and made a good looking résumé. I was able to email it right from the app. It was worth the investment.

Great to break the ice. A really great app for those of us that get stuck on getting started. Simple cookie cutter layout. Play with it a bit as I stumbled on page separations at first but the margin tool fixed that quickly and cleanly. If you need to 'get er done', this is the app for you.

Resume builder. Amazing

Great app! No fuss, a résumé must!. This resume app took the frustration out of traditional resume formatting. My only hesitation on not awarding the 5 star rating is that it could use bullet indentation and a spell check function. I would recommend this app to anyone. Especially for those who are continuously updating their résumé. Well worth the $2.99.

Haven't gotten a chance to try - crashed after installation. The application crashed right after installation. Freezes or quits without letting the user add a new document. Buttons do not work.

On iPhone 4S. I reported a problem today... And it got fixed... TODAY!!! Amazing response and an amazing app. Creates beautiful resumes by just entering the data, I am saying this because the design, size and other things you simply don't have to worry about it. Best Resume Builder Ever. I selected management resume - updated to my info and was good to go. You choose the formatting and it automatically updates - forget spending hours tabbing and spacing. This is the best app for getting it done.

Great App!. Always had trouble writing resumes and this app really helped i think its fantastic. Only thing i would add are bullet point dots it looks more professional and maybe a few more formats as well...other than that perfect app! Definatley recommend it

Great, but could be better.. Easy to use, and options to customize the resume are available. It will be better if you could change the size of the fonts separate (body of the resume vs. the head name).

Writing a resume couldn't get any easier!. I haven't had this app that long, but I've already used it several times. Let's face it, writing a resume is really quite tedious, but this app gets the job done in a snap...highly recommended!

Great layouts and easy to use. I'd give this 5 stars if it was able to save to gallery, or at least be able to be saved in a format that can be sent to businesses online from their website. This all WILL NOT allow you to save in anything other than pdf. Lame.

Best app I have come a crossed for resumes and FREE ALSO!. This app is fairly good, could use more options like another user said, seems a little lacking in fonts also. was not sure if my resume was being saved in between sessions of completion. It was saved but it could use some sort of confirmation to provide peace of mind.

A little room for improvement.. This is a good app for prefab resumes. I'm used to robust software like MS Word where you can set a myriad of variables. But this app gets the job done. Overall positive, no real complaints other than simplicity. Worth the price.

It's nice. I wish you could save a template that you altered. The resume templates are great... But when you edit them there is no option to save them. It just feels like all the hard work you have put into fabricating the resume may be jeopardized. Please give the option to save securely. Thank you

Pretty slick. Newest version is very user friendly and sets up a professional looking resume and cover letter. Very pleased! - A bit more customization of the cover letter layout and text sizing and don't would be nice. That's my only recommendation.

It just ok. I would give it 2and a half stars If I could. The app puts all the information in the form of a resume. The app does NOT help u with what info to put in the blanks. If u know how to make a resume then this is for u. If you've never made one then you will be asking others for help cause this app won't help much at all. Harder to print my résumé then I thought. Printing wifi is easy but not very many people (at least that I know) have cordless printing.

Like. Great app. But how do I move the bullet points for each section around? My job experience is not listed in order and the only way I can find to fix it is by typing it all over again

Very job seeker friendly. This is a wonderful app and has so many options to choose from. Inside of each different resume types, there are sections you can add/delete/rearrange. Love it!!!

Came Through. This application really came through for me in a pinch! Grateful for it. You don't have as much liberty as if you were creating the document on a desktop, but it gets the job done well. I recommend it...

RESUME PERFECT. I found this app extremely helpful. It does not have 50 templates contained with it, but creates a professional résumé all the same. With a little help from the Internet I was able to create a professional working résumé within an hour!

Just avg.. I thought this app would be great for making a resume to save and use. But thus far I can make a resume on it, but can use it for anything else. It doesn't seem to save as any time of doc or picture file so that I can export or find. So for those going to get this app be warded it just allows you to make, but doesn't allow you to use!!

Every one should own!. Completely satisfied. This is the easiest résumé I've ever prepared, not to mention the most professional looking. Outstanding for any one coming out of school or any who just needs a résumé. I absolutely recommend this app.

Fantastic App. I love this app. I use it constantly. Even when I'm not active looking for a job, this app makes it easy to quickly add new experience points to your resume.

Simple to use. Created a perfectly formatted resume in a matter of minutes and was able to create a separate page for references. Very easy to use and looks really nice when done.

Great app. This is such an easy application to use. I was a little intimidated to start remaking a résumé after so many years but this app made it so easy to understand from beginning to end.

Resume Designer. I like this app, I think it's worthy of five stars if it is updated to include exporting to a Word format, it can not be edited when exported as PDF. I would also like to see the ability to save a current résumé as a copy so I can tailor it to different industries under a different saved name.

The best one. Gets the job done. It's not cluttered with extras which is good in my opinion. If your looking for a resume that looks good, but doesn't make you look desperate, pick this one. It's the content in the resume that matters more than the style. The examples are superb!

Great App. This was very user friendly and it produces a great looking résumé! You just input your information and it formats everything for you. The only thing I wish the app offered as well is a cover letter format. Overall, I would highly recommend buying this app!

Not even worthy dime!. You are better off using the word processing software that come with your computer. Just as an example, this program only offers two styles of header: centered or left justified. If you are writing a resume, either spend the money for the fully loaded software for your computer, or go to your public library. Not only do I not recommend this product, I also do recommend you ignore it.

WORTH THE $2.99. I never paid for any app on the iPhone. Best $2.99 spent!!!! Well worth it, very easy to use template and very well organized. I am satisfied with this app and definitely recommend it to others!

Nice looking result. The app is straightforward and easy enough to use, and the final PDF was well formatted and looked great. The control for spacing your resume to fit on a page is unique and works well. Cover letter support would be nice.

Pretty good. Easy to use but italics don't work. This is important for lawyers who sometimes have to refer to Latin terms. Also would be nice if you could export to word or something other than PDF. As far as I can tell, you can only edit or make changes using the app.

Excellent app. Needed to do a resume for the 1st time at age 43:) really struggled between 2 apps and after purchasing this one I'm glad I did. I never even read the help section. Easy to use and understand and easy to send to my iMAC. I would highly recommend.

Great Program. This created a great resume. No major bells and whistles, just a great professional resume. Easy to use and send. If you are looking for a resume app I would suggest this one. I was sending out resumes within 1 hour.

Pretty good for basic resume. Would be helpful to be able to download in another format other than PDF given many companies who want resumes downloaded to them want word or optional formats that allow for this.

Practical and Easy. I read the reviews first before I purchased this app and I also compared it with others. I love it. It was easy to use and manipulate. I am about to graduate with my masters and I am less worried about writing a cover letter and a resume that might get me a job.

Love it but make Mac version. I wish they make a version for Mac because I like to type on my computer much better. But this still nice to edit my resume on the go.

Works prefectly, clean looking resume builder. I really like this app. It is very easy to use and helps you create a very clean, easy to read resume. It is def worth the price. I like how you can edit the format but I wish there were more options when it comes to the layout design.

Great beginning. There is some room for improvement, like maybe having the samples separate from the resume you write so you can refer back to the sample resumes for ideas.... But what a great start!!! It's been years since I've written a proper resume and this app was a life saver!!

Great, helpful app. Really have enjoyed using this app. I have had no issues with it and the templates were helpful as I had not had to make a CV in quite awhile. All I can say on the negative is that I wish it had a way to export to .pages on my laptop so I could work across platforms.

Excellent!. Highly recommended! At the beginning I had no idea how to write my CV, but ASAP I found this app, it made things way more easy. You have samples, you can add or delete sections easily, then you add your info in the blanks. bottom line: very easy to use and great results.

Great app!. I created a professional looking résumé in no time. User friendly interface! Plus it gives a preview of what you are doing whilst you do it. I recommend it to anyone trying to create a digital résumé.

Resume will never leave your iPad. What the hell is the point of using this app to build a great looking resume just to have it stuck on your iPad? The email out feature does not work on this app. Also, you can't rip the PDF or your resume even when you plug it in to a computer. Pointless. Now I have to redo the whole thing. Hopefully I can get it done in time to still get the job.
