Keep it from Crashing. It’s very useful but all of a sudden it crashed and I can’t get the app to open is there a way to open the app again that would require me to delete it then reinstall it in my phone cuz I have a formation on here that I know I won’t remember if it gets deleted.

Won’t stop crashing!. I love this app so much! However tonight I was working on some formations and it just crashed... So I figured I should be able to just refresh the app and I’d be able to get back on but that didn’t work. So then I tried restarting my phone, and it still wouldn’t work. Then I did a hard restart, and once again, it just crashes!!! I’m not sure if the fact that my phone is not updated could effect it, but I’m hoping to update it tonight. I’m very unpleased with this as I have many formations I have yet to teach and to loose all of those would be a nightmare for me.

Not worth it. Its very hard to use and it wastes a lot of time doing it on paper would be faster don't waist time and money

Tutorial. Is there a tutorial on this?? Because I trying to plot and but it’s not letting me do anything but zoom in and out 😒 if not is there a refund???

Disappointing. Bought the app and made a formation all was well and then after I finished the first formation the app glitched and closed out, i went to try to open the app again and it just wont open i closed all tabs and turned my phone off thinking maybe it was my phones glitch but nope it still wont open the logo will pop up on my screen like its trying to open but then it just goes back to my homescreen right away. Really disappointed and dont know how to fix the issue, especially upset i paid and it wont even open after an hour of use. Was a good app till it stopped working..

A Choreographer Essential!. This is an awesome app. It makes organizing formations super easy and you can see the traffic patterns for dancers around the stage. The one thing I would love to have on this app is the ability to rename formations. I choreograph by sections of the song (intro, verse, chorus, etc) so renaming the formations would be great to have especially if you have multiple formations in a section of the dance.

Review. One of the most frustrating parts is that there is no undo button. When I’m trying to re-color or mess up something while moving dots around, it would be 10000 times easier if there was an undo button to make those quick and easy changes. I’ve only used the app for a couple hours (trying it out) and that is one of the complications I’ve found so far. I agree with another user that there should be a notes section option for each formation. Another cool idea could be an 8-count portion to add to the formations. Im loving how easy it is to create the movements without having to force my kiddos to do it a million times while testing out new formations. It could also be a nice idea to have a dot count instead of trying to count to make sure you have the right number of people before trying to move them around. I found that I had the wrong number after getting through 10 formations and adding in a dot at the beginning didn’t add it into the rest as easily as I’d hoped. Love the idea and will definitely use it to be doing my cheer formations for my kiddos.

Great app!. This is a fantastic app and definitely helps to see how the formations flow in a dance. Would like to see a feature to copy a specific formation from one dance to another dance. Also slow motion would be awesome to see the dance flow better. Lastly, customized sizing for the grid is probably the most important thing I’d like to see. I have a large number of dancers and some of my formations go right to the edge of the boundary which you can’t leave a dot on. Those end up on graph paper :( All in all, quite satisfied. I’ve also had the crashing issue happen a couple of times but I am always able to reopen the app with no problem.

Simple and well-designed!. Overall using the app was straightforward and simple from start to finish. The graphics were done very nicely and made the blocking process much easier!

Awesome and simple to use. Thank you for making this available. Great help to me. I manage to learn to use it in a few mins, which is awesome. A few very simple and quick update can help a lot. 1) the stage is a little small. For example, I can’t draw 24 people in a line vertically. Would be great if the stage is 2x bigger in both direction. Or “, a bit more challenging, selectable. 2) would be great if I can enter a time stamp for each formation. Then provide a “play” button to run through all formations by the time stamp. 3) would be good to have a formation arrange view 4) would be good if the dancers can have facing directions, say 45 degree steps would be sufficient. 5) some notes per formation would be nice. Again, thank you for your awesome job. Looking forward to these updates

So helpful, and is almost there!. This app has been a tremendous help for making formations! There have been other blocking apps in the past, but were less efficient than using pen and paper due to their bugs and limitations. A feature I really like is that I can insert formations in the middle of the piece. This is so helpful, since I don’t have to worry about getting all the sub-blocking down the first time. A couple of fixes and feature requests that I would like: - ability to add notes to each formation (a nice-to-have is to add a color legend per formation, describing what each color means) - when entering names into the list of performers, when it gets to the bottom of the screen, the keyboard closes and reopens, and it’s pretty distracting. It would be nice if the keyboard stayed open if I press “return”. - ability to watch transitions in slo-mo - keeping the name labels’ text size the same when zooming in (it’s hard to see names of people standing next to each other right now) Overall, I’m really enjoying the app, and am very grateful you are combining your talents in dance and software development to help the dance community. Piece of crap. This is a scam!!

Stage size. I would like to be able to outline a different stage size or adjust the stage dimensions. I run into this a lot with different stages and I would like my students to be able to visualize that.

Bad app. I don't like this app at all! It looks great but will not work! I can't do anything with it! Would not recommend this to others! It doesn't make any sense!

Not User Friendly. No instruction video or help options explaining how to navigate the app. I want a refund.

Not worth it. Wish I could get my money back. No instructions (if there are, they are not easily accessible).

The names need spacing. The app is good but the the names need spacing just like the other app called PlaybookDance. So that way we see clear of all the names in formations and blocking

Would love to see a text box addition!. I really enjoy this app and it makes figuring out formation changes a breeze. I do wish their was a way to insert a text box with each formation so I can write out a description or the counts that take place. Sooo please consider adding that!!

Crashing. Super awesome when it works, right now it won’t open no matter what. Would love that glitched fixed because I don’t want to start again!

Crashes...You lose your hard work!. Super cool app until you’ve put all this work into an entire dance for it to crash and refuse to open to view the work you’ve done. Unsatisfied.

Sharing files. The app is great other than when it comes to sharing a project. I tried sharing the project I was working on with a friend who also has the app and it wouldn’t let her open the text… it wouldn’t even let me open it and I sent it.

Great for choreographers. Very useful for choreographers, or anyone who needs to stage and block other people into formations. No more messy paper and pen notes. I like that you can color code each person. This could even be handy for cheer teams, sports teams, and theater groups.

Love the app but suggestion.. First off this app is so useful for choreographers and I love it. One thing I would say would be a great suggestion is to have the ability to write notes on each formation would be great! Also adding more color options as well. Overall this app is amazing!

Crashing!!. I have choreographed about 4 different routines now in this app and IT CRASHED! It won’t open any more and I have no way to access my routines :( Choreo Week for my gym is next week! I’m super upset.

Mostly awesome. Super helpful and for the most part, easy to use. I suggest using initials instead of names when naming dancers because when you show names, they all overlap and you can’t read them. Great to share formations between teachers, was really helpful when I had the flu! My only complaint is the app does not sync between devices. I created my dances on iPad but they do not show up on my iPhone. That would really be nice!

App crashing. I loved this app to stage dances for my dance team. But all of a sudden it won’t open at all. Help!

Extremely useful app for dancers. Using ChoreoRoom is such an upgrade from paper blocking sheets. Overall the app design and usability is great, though I have a couple notes. Thanks for making this Aaron! Bug: when I accidentally delete a dancer in a formation (there's no confirmation for delete notification) and add them back, the smooth dot transition between formations is lost. I have to create a new formation at the end by copying the last formation, dragging it to the slide with the deleted dancer, and recreate the formation Feature request: being able to add names to every formation. I currently need to add a dancer at the top left and name them with the formation name.

good. seems like a good app, but my concern is that in the previews for the app, it says you can see the names of all the dancers but when i do it, the names disappear and i cant see them all together like it says you can in the preview

No ability to add soundtrack!. Bought this app and immediately deleted it because I can’t add the music to it!

Responsiveness of Developer. I am in awe with the professional responses of the developer. It is the main reason I chose this app. If possible I would love to see a music upload option to sync formations with counts. I use a separate app to write down the choreography for counts. It would be amazing! If I could tap on a choreo icon that allowed me to write out what happens on each count. That way the app does both jobs. This app would take over if it did these two things. I would recommend end it to all my colleagues and dancers as the ONLY option. As of right now it is a fantastic option that I am glad that I have come across.

Love the concept but unable to share. The concept of the app is a game changer. We are unable to share the formations via email, text or any other platform. Is there an update or a way to fix this issue?

Pretzel. This choreography app has the perfect blend of features and ease of use! I used a screen recording app to send a video of the choreography to my family.

Love it but want enhancements. I LOVE this for visualizing formation changes. Please make a way to color code people! I use this for cheerleading choreo, and would love to see where my stunt groups are moving through color. Also, please enhance it to allow copying entire routines.

The App won’t open :(. I love love this app and use it frequently and I just finished creating a set of formations and then the app randomly crashed and now it *consistently* crashes every time I try to open it! I am trying to view my formations as I need them as soon as possible and I can’t even open the app to view it without the app closing. I am on the newest version of the app and I even restarted my phone a few times. I’m afraid if i uninstall the app to re-download then all of my work will be gone. Please advise and try to fix this recurring problem!

Multiple charges. I’ve been receiving notifications that I’ve been charged again for this app. Is this a monthly subscription of .99 cents? I’m really confused and can’t find anything anywhere that mentions that. I just deleted the app bc I don’t want to keep getting charged. How can I be sure that it won’t continue to charge my account now that the app is gone??

Great but would love more features. Loving it but would love an undo feature and a feature to high light multiple dots to move all of them together

Very helpful, wish for a few tweaks!. This is incredibly helpful when coming up with formations. There are a few features I wish it had to bring it over the top... 1) ability to add notes to each page, 2) ability to change speed of the transitions, 3) you can find example formations for various numbers of dancers online. To have some type of reference guide like this right in the app would be INCREDIBLE and 4) I don’t know how this could be done programming wise but it seems to automatically move icons using the shortest path possible, but i wish there were a way to change the path (eg, if I want dancers to circle around the stage to get to their new positions it’s hard to achieve this path in the current app without “faking it” with a few extra screens of “transition formations”... and it’s hard to visualize without this step). But still, a very helpful tool for choreographing!

Not stable. Initially Loved the app and the ease of use until it failed and couldn’t open anymore and only option delete and restart (of course meaning everything lost), I did give it another go, but after having it completely CRASH and FAIL for the second time now and thus losing again many many hours of work and formations set I’m not prepared to waste the time needed to set up everything again for the third time when clearly it is very unstable

Where are the instructions on how to use?. Could someone please advise me where to find instructions on how to use? I not super tech savvy

Helpful app. Can you please add a function where you can add a music file so you can hear and see what’s happening at the same time? Will help when sharing it with others for clarity.

Pretty good!. (Could not submit my message on the support website.) Dear Developers, Thanks for finally making a dance formation app that works with iOS 10 and above. Maybe for the next update include tools such as ways of selecting multiple people easily. Rather than moving each one individually. And the option to place people off the lines (cross section) such as only on a line horizontal or vertical or in the small squares.

Great app but could use an update!. Really helpful for blocking but I wish there were more/custom colours available as sometimes my formations exceed 7 members! Hopefully the developer can implement this for larger groups!

Add Text Feature. If there was a text box underneath for adding choreography notes, it would be very helpful! Also, being able to resize the names so you could place dots closer together.
