Online PBPost access. I have been an online subscriber for years and for years, they can never get the access correct when a member clicks on restore purchase or access from a news post.

Palm Beach Post is outstanding!. Doing more with less…

Excellent Newspaper. Palm Beach Post is informative, efficient and up to date in reporting any and all news. I enjoy reading this paper every day. They cover the latest news in a professional and excellent manner.

Much improved. This app is far better than it used to be. Still missing (at least I couldn’t find them) are national opinion columnists, comics, bridge column, and non crossword puzzles.

Annoying. It’s one thing to have advertisements in the newspaper that are paid for by the advertisers however, these pop up local advertisements in the middle of an article are extremely offensive and detracts from the entire e-news experience.

Hot liberal garbage.. Just wanted to support and stay up on local news and sports but cancelling and deleting after getting sick and tired of this rag (new media investment group= same umbrella of USA Today/ New York Times) that only has their puppets parrot the same garbage around the country thinking we still don’t see their strings.

Some issues…. It appears that The Palm Beach Post has a new app that I was totally unaware of, why we weren’t informed of it is beyond me! I called the office because the former app was not working. I was eventually told that they learned that other customers were experiencing the same problem and it should be resolved within 24 hrs. That didn’t happen, but I did find a new app for them and found it working! Have been using it ever since. My only real complaint is that it appears VERY sensitive to touch causing it to go where I did not want it to go! Other than that, I am satisfied.

Palm Beach Post. The Post has been improved dramatically since I first got the app. I like to read the home newspaper to see what local stores they are covering.

Finally a modern app. I’ve been a subscriber for years even when the application was free. Now that they are implementing a paywall I’m glad we have a modern app with dark mode and pictures that work.

Great Local News Source. The PB Post app makes getting the local news so easy. Highly recommend!

Support local news. I enjoy reading the local news and the headline updates I receive throughout the day.

Love getting the Palm Beach Post. Love daily viewing of and access to my South East FL news!

Where is Local? What is the date line?. My family has subscribed since 1972 and I’m afraid this is going to be the end, with this app revision. The last version had many of the roads are virtues of the old actual paper, the chief being I knew which addition something was in I could go between additions and I could figure out what period of time I was reading news about. This is a mishmash that I can find on the Internet. I have yet to find the letters page. I also don’t think I’m an old guy in my 50s but probably a.m. I hope the younger people like this because I’d hate to see the post disappear but I have to say one of the most important features was your inputAnd coverage on local issues. If all I need to see is stuff on South Florida in general well then you are dead.

HORRIBLE!. I have been a Post subscriber for 13yrs. I am forced to read it on my iPhone for several years now because home delivery of the hard copy to my residence in Jupiter was awful. This latest update to the app is so frustrating that I am VERY close to ending my subscription. Constant pop-up ads, screens going blank, pinching in/out to be able to read sends you elsewhere; it doesn’t remember where you left off if you leave for awhile. When you come back you are back to Pg 1! Arrgh! PLEASE GO BACK TO THE PRIOR VERSION OF THIS APP!

More recent news needed. This is better than reading all day old news but the most recent news would be appreciated.

No Print on Your Prints!. I love having the daily news, special reports, updates at my fingertips 24/7. Well laid out platform, easy to navigate.

Terrible. Bring back the old app Well.... Tried the Palm Beach Post through the web. Since I had the app loaded, it directed me to the app. Removed the app and opened up as web pages. The result??? Worse on the web than the app. On either iPad it is so blurry can barely read. Yikes, why do they take a perfectly good app and replace it?

New app not user friendly!. This new version of the Palm Beach post app is just awful! It’s not user friendly as as the previous blue app which doesn’t create the same enjoyable “reading the paper in the morning with a cup of coffee” experience as before. I used to be able to download the paper first thing in the morning just in case of a frequent fickle internet glitch by clicking on “download” and know it was downloaded . Now, even though the paper is supposed to download when the app is opened I don’t believe it is because when I’m offline, I’m only able to read the first few pages. Where’s the rest of it? The previous blue icon app saved my preferences so I could read it in the same format and font size I preferred without having to do that every day. Also, with the previous app I could click on Pages and go directly to that page. Now, it doesn’t. Maybe it’s just me not being able to enjoy reading the paper without frustration, even so, it should be an indicator of your app not being user friendly. The previous app wasn’t broken, didn’t need fixing but this new one sure does!

Worse App EVER. I am using the e-edition. I have now used this app for two days and I think I will have to delete it. It is incredibly frustrating, slow response or no response times. Way too many pop ups. Remembering this is a paid subscription, there should be no pop ups that block or restrict content. When scrolling to the bottom of the page anything you touch causes the article to open. Then you have to close the article to read the rest of the page. What were they thinking?

New version is a disaster. This update makes viewing the e-edition very annoying because the stories and ads are always opening up when I don’t want them to and I’m constantly having to close them. I used to be able to increase/decrease the size of each page with no problem, and the story opened on a different page only when I asked it to. Now, the slightest touch of anything opens it up. If The Post doesn’t want to do an e-edition that looks like the paper does/did, then change it. Don’t offer it with useless navigation. I prefer the “paper” look, but only if it works.

Very hard to read on line. Due to your recent changes to your e paper it has become very non user friendly. Tried to contact customer service many times and their response was it has changed to the new format and I have to get use to it.

Easy to navigate.. Recommend this app for keeping up with local news in Palm Beach. It’s easy to share articles and it’s affordable.

Upgrades. It appears you’ve upgraded your app. There seems to be a lot of bugs. For instance, you can’t fill the screen by just touching fit you have to actually physically make it bigger with your fingers it also it reverts back to side-by-side pages instead of full page. Also having issues with getting next day’s edition as of today 12/21 still brining up Mondays paper

New addition was put into use before all of the faults were eliminated. The new P newspaper constantly freezes up while I am reading it, requiring me to turn my iPad off and on. I’m having to restart the paper from the beginning each time I have to restart it.

Horrible now. Before the new update, I enjoyed reading the paper on my iPad. It was very easy to navigate and expand what I wanted to read. Now, the normal 2 finger zoom no longer works. Why did you do this without checking that it would work properly.

The new app. I continue to wonder if anyone tested this app before it was released. The type is to small, the blue arrows are to large but the worst thing is when you touch an article and it shuts down or goes to another page. It can be a very frustrating experience reading the newspaper.

Worst ePaper reader. I have used the Palm Beach Post ePaper for several years and was fairly happy with it. A few days ago it stopped working. I uninstalled it and was looking to re-install when I noticed that it was no longer available in the Appstore. There was only this App. So I installed this App instead. Wow, what a difference. And not in a good way. Sign-in problems, unwanted adds popping up, screens freezing, horrible navigation. Who thought it was a good idea to replace a well functioning App with this inferior product that seems like a first attempt at an eReader? I like the Palm Beach Post, but not with this App. It’s not the way I want to start my day.

Terrible app, ruins the daily news reading experience. The app jumps around, pop up ads distract, page turning and zooming in don’t work. Apps should be getting better, not worse, over time.

They can do better. Palm Beach Post does not give public library online access. PBP needs to figure out how to make money without charging users or the users will just use a different online news source. We have choices.

PB Post app. Why try to improve something that already works To This version not only runs at a snails pace, taking much more time to load, but is more difficult to navigate.

Palm Beach Post / a must read. My day begins with a cup of coffee and the Palm Beach Post. I love to read the paper as a way to start the day. It keeps me informed about my community and the world. My only problem is the cost of the print home delivery, it has gotten too expensive for me. So I’ve switched to reading the electronic version. The electronic edition is good but you can’t beat holding the paper in your hands to read it.

Terrible decision. Today I was unable to read the paper as I was used to. Now I’m forced to read on a truly horrible website with pop up ads. Not sure why they discontinued the other option. I am sure this was at least partially done to push more pop up ads and track readers. I may have to just give up and go to a national paper. BEWARE

Much improved. The app has been fixed and is now working well. However, I get a notification every day from the newspaper with a link to the daily edition, and that version is glitchy. I hope they fix it to match the app.

Palm beach post. Excellent for those wanting to read the paper

Love Local News. It’s great to catch up on all the local news and also enjoy access via my tablet!

Worse app. Why does this app jump around, make it hard to move to a story, have a constant pop up for cancer care etc? I am paying to read a paper online. I am not paying to fight to do so every day

Pop up Ads in middle of news. Nothing is more annoying than an ad showing up in the middle of an article you are reading for a PAId subscription. Awful!

Repeatedly asks me to subscribe and I already am. I’ve been a subscriber for a while and lately, every article I open, I am asked to subscribe. I have messaged them directly and no one has gotten back to me about this issue. Not surprised, paper delivery was disappointing as well. Good journalism though; it’s the only reason I still subscribe.

Bland app, no digital access. This app does what apps are supposed to do and does it well. Navigation is easy. That said, it is merely Average and offers no perks, bells, whistles, or access to anything else that draw me to open it first. Due to this newspaper’s dependency on that “small city appeal,” it took me three months to finally PURCHASE a subscription. This is because this app is not connected to _anything else where a pay feature is already connected. I had to actually find time to sit down, locate my physical credit card, and enter everything by hand like it is 2003. This app does not offer a digitial version of the print version. As the app does not cover all Sections, that’s a disconnect.

annoying and terrible!. What is going on with this app! Six times in the last year I’ve had to change my password for the app as it’s telling me I’ve entered the wrong information, but it’s saved info and I could access through the web, or on my phone, but not my iPad. And now, again, the same thing. I can access through the app only on my phone, no issue with passwords or email. Both devices are up to date. Also, it doesn’t save my choices, each time I did open the app I was asked about which issue I wanted, if I wanted it downloaded, how many I wanted… just annoying. And, when this “lockout” occurs, it wants me to download the app…WHICH I ALREADY HAVE! Updating after receiving developer response: STILL HORRIBLE! No changes or improvements, in fact it’s worse. Pop up ads even with a paid subscription, tells me my password is still wrong, makes me do the bot test and then tells me my password is incorrect, asks me which version to download… etc. This app must have been constructed by school children as a project they ultimately received a D for.

Bad Update. This app was recently updated. The new version is much worse than the old one. The major problem is that pictures are blurry. If there is text, such as a chart, you have to click on it to read the text. It is also annoying, as a paid subscriber, to be greeted by ads that pop up in front of the page. What is worse is that you can’t dismiss it for a few seconds. I enjoy the paper and supporting the local press, but this needs to improve or I will have to subscribe to another paper.

Zero star. The old app was great! The new app is horrible and very very frustrating! You can no longer see the entire page across your screen. The content will jump to other pages or articles. The blue arrows are too big and cover up what I am trying to read. When I double tap to enlarge an article and try to move to the right-hand column, the app jumps me to another function. I absolutely hate this app. My morning coffee isn’t the same without my Palm Beach Post. Don’t app developers ever test an app themselves? When you read the posted reviews of this app notice that the pleasant, complementary reviews are older and referencing the previous version of the app. The recent reviews reflect user frustration and anger. Fix the app!

Please go back to old app. The new app is terrible! I have been using it for a few months now and am thinking I may need to find a new paper to read. The pop ups are really annoying. Today, every article I open closes after a few seconds and a pop up comes up. Why would I want to try to read a paper this way? The old app was really good.

The Palm Beach Post. I have ongoing problems in navigating the pages of the paper. The app freezes frequently when I try to go from one page to the other. It also knocks me out of the paper while reading it and I have to start over. The previous app format was better.

Keeps getting WORSE! 😡. Now there are complete pages missing! I start to read an article that continues on another page and that page is missing. Seriously?!

Terrible!. Too many system errors, (Bad Gateway) or inconsistent features, for example the Browse feature does not always work. The issues are too many to mention.

Absolutely horrible!. Even with a paid subscription, this app is inundated with invasive, annoying, advertisements continuously popping up each time you open it. I thought if I paid for a subscription, the advertisements would go away. Nope. Even on every individual article you click on, you are bombarded with annoying pop-ups which are either more advertisements, or a question about the app’s content. Instead of having a page with a simple list of headings I can click on, to choose which articles I wish to view, there’s always some invasive pop-up steering you towards what the PB Post wants you to view. I accidentally clicked on the live feed icon and video started playing immediately. It was loud and disruptive, since I was in an office environment, and the worst part is that the video wasn’t news. It was another advertisement, a typical television commercial. There was no way to stop the video. I ended up having to force close the app. The app’s entire UI is sloppy, cluttered and disorganized. I don’t recommend this app. It’s more annoying, than informative. There are much better, more informative local news apps out there for free.

Arrows are too big. This app is very sensitive. When trying to read it often it changes area where you are looking. The Newsmember app I have for the Pensacola News Journal is much better and easier to navigate.

Who changed this app?. What on earth did the developers do? I couldn’t log in, had to call service, reinstall this, and it takes several more steps to get to different papers. It’s very touchy. You can’t read the paper without it zooming in and out or disappearing altogether. There is an ad that you x out and it keeps coming back. PLEASE FIX THIS! This is unacceptable and as I see everyone else feels the same way. Thank you for your response. The glitches are gone but WHO did this update? Please test it out. It now takes several steps to get to the different papers and then it will glitch and you have to start over. Please test it out. It was perfect the way it originally was a month or so ago. Why did you update it to the worse. Someone programmed this and did not test it out. Waiting for your response. Thank you.

Much worse than previous app. This app is much worse than the previous, blue icon app which let you read a digitized version of the daily newspaper. It has too many menu bars which take up screen space. It has pop-up ads that were not in the older app. It is harder to navigate through the news content when changing sections. The app glitches when pinching text to zoom. You can’t display any comics in landscape mode and comic text is not sharp when zooming up like in the old app. A major step backward in ease of use and functionality is why this only deserves one star.

Palm Beach Post. I love the e-paper version of the PB Post. It is convenient to use and keeps me up to date on what is happening in our community and beyond.

Horrible new app. Too many pop up ads with a paid subscription. Can only access e-edition of newspaper on my personal device. Will probably end up cancellong the subscription

Stay informed I Palm Beach County. All you need to know all day

Palm Beach Post. Terrible. Doesn’t even save my password

Missed the mark. The change for the Post"s latest app misses the mark. On a smartphone the most effective presentations for news are vertical with one story per line. There is too much going on with the Post's new version: too many colors, white print hard to read, mishmash of stories. Taking away the color locks would be a big improvement.

App works great. Glitch free reading. Love the Palm Beach Post app

Review. I have enjoyed the Palm Beach Post for many years!

New update is only an ad medium. I have used the Palm Beach Post for a few years now and the latest update makes it impossible to read stories, as full-screen ads spring up to block your view and come back a couple seconds AFTER attempting to close them. This process repeated on EVERY story I attempted to read. I will go back to using the Associated Press app local content feature until this is fixed.

New Post app. The old app was much easier to use.

Excellent. Please keep doing this!

Awesome improvement. The app works so well and looks so good. Love it. Nice job.

New update/app. This is horrible it crashes every 30 sec-min. Where is the pinch and zoom, The new 2x zoom isn’t enough. Go back to the last version

PBT&an. Needed some lotion, polite, knowledgeable staff, attractive too. Got me fixed up. Clean environment.

Not pretty, but it WORKS.... Considering that this is the first version of this app that doesn't immediately crash on launch, I'm inclined to rate it highly. I mean, if you're going to make an app, it would be nice if it loaded without crashing, right? Well, the posts has finally done it! IT DOESN'T CRASH! Beyond that, pretty standard fare.

Enjoy all the digital benefits of the newspaper!. Great digital newspaper.

pb post app. compared to how fast and easily the old app ran, this one needs a lot of work. i have a hard time understanding why when that one was working so well someone thought “ let’s make it better”. no, don’t fix what ain’t broke

New app. I hate the new app. Fortunately I can still use the old app on some of my devices. If it’s not broken why fix it? And I do enjoy the old app. R Elston

No Stars. It was updated and now its terrible for the e-edition. May cancel my subscriptions unless they fix it.

E newspaper. Can no longer access one’s contacts if one wants to email an article. So I don’t forward anything any more. Bad marketing gesture.

Great local paper. All the news relevant to living in Palm Beach County.

Piece of crap. Whomever authored this app needs to go back to school. Palm Beach Pist needs to start over before they go belly up.

Incompetent online service. I can't get Palm Beach Post to open up on my iPhone

App. Almost impossible to read newspaper online. App is non-responsive.

Used to be able to read some news. Now it’s will only tell you to subscribe to read any news.

Update makes app useless. With advertisements popping up as you scroll it’s almost impossible to navigate through it. Articles have inserted headlines from other articles randomly embedded within the paragraphs with no differentiation in font or text, can’t even read the article smoothly. App needs a major update. Their app from 5 years ago was better than this junk.

Great app!. Great app!

Who changed a good thing. Today, Tuesday October 17, my epaper changed, NOT FOR THE BETTER. Don’t know why someone thought they could improve the experience but they failed miserably! This might be the final straw to my Palm Beach Post subscription!

THANK YOU PALM BEACH COUNTY. The Borgelin Family.

Review. Go back to old way or cancel my subscription.

Awful.. Awful, nothing else to say.

dont bother with this. what a waste of time and a totally frustrating experience dealing with trying to get this site to work after paying and trying to deal with customer service a few times. dont bother with this app. can i give it no stars?

Great articles, poor app. It’s incredibly annoying to get emails with links to articles that appear nowhere in the app. When I click the link it asks me to sign in to the app and when I do I can’t find the article. There’s no search feature on the app, and no integration between the email and the app. Very frustrating.

Always topical and pertinent content. Excellent neespaper. Particularly Kimberly miller.

Digital Palm Beach Post. The new format is awful. You cannot get the “paper” to fit the screen. It’s slow. Too many steps to get where you want to. Bring back the old format!

I would give ZERO stars if possible!. UPDATE Jan 14 No changes have been made to this AWFUL APP. I have emailed the GM of the paper and several others. The App provider puts the same canned response on every complaining app review. (Do they even read the complaints?). Also, we pay for the App and see all the advertisements in the paper and STILL get annoying POP up ads that you cannot X out of for several seconds. Palm Beach Post should be ashamed of the terrible product they put out. On another note, the paper delivery person litters our street with extra papers he does not want to deliver. Many folks here are part time and the old papers sit in driveways getting wet for days on end until someone picks them up and throws them away. I find it hard to believe the people that mange this paper do not fix this App. UPDATE Dec 17…..still unstable. Worst app ever! It’s been over 2 months since the “upgrade” and still lots of bugs….. I pay for this and get pop up ads you cannot delete for several seconds…WHY am I seeing ads after paying for the app? Pages close without warning, you cannot use the arrows to change pages sometimes and the arrows cover up a portion of the articles. The paper shuts down and you have to re open. Really a bad APP. Not sure why the paper manager has not fixed these issues. I sent him an email and he had a worker respond to me….I asked if she read the paper online….answer was no. I then asked if they read the online reviews…..answer was NO. Very frustrating. See UPDATE below….. The old app quit working forcing me to download the new app. It is VERY unstable. The worst app to date. Why do you keep “updating” the app when the old (blue icon) one was working just fine? Also, a heads up to your subscribers would have been a good idea. I believe this change was unnecessary and very poorly planned. Did anyone test it before putting it out? I doubt it. Ridiculous! You want to phase out home delivery and put out this junk? IT HAS BEEN SEVERAL WEEKS SINCE I POSTED THIS REVIEW AND STILL NO FIX! AWFUL! UPDATE…I received an email asking me to update my review…..I emailed the GM of the paper and got a call from a very nice woman. She said she does not use the app. I explained the issues. She was nice but the only advice she could give me was to update my iPad (it was current) or turn my iPad in the vertical position to read the paper (I use a case so this is not a good solution) or to read it on my Mac computer via the web site and not use the app. It works a bit better, but there are still issues with the app. Funny enough, the email said I could contact the developer but when you try to click on the link it takes you to a PB Post site, not to the developer! I will keep my zero star review until they fix the issues….jumping pages, arrows that cover content, sections that do not load, ads that cover the entire page until you click them off to name several. We pay for the paper, why are we seeing additional pop up ads anyway? Post, you can do better! Please fix you app or go back to the old one.

Liberal Views. As always you are and have been always answering to the left and not to the middle. There is a middle that you have to work hard earn your keep.

Continually Decreasing App Functionality. This forced update takes away much of the personalization and control of the previous version. You are no longer able to sort news by region (north county, centers county, etc) or subject, which was very useful previously. Now there’s no way to even sort local from national news. In addition, this version inserts ads randomly into the news stream while you are scrolling through, making it very difficult to read headlines as you are scrolling. I am fine with the ads in the news stream, but not inserted as I’m scrolling. Finally, this version tries to emphasize pictures for each headline, but most stories don’t have a picture attached, so it’s just a bunch of police lights. I’m not sure why this update was forced on users, since it just took away functionality and offered no improvements.

Great deal. Good app

Screen freezes up constantly.. News is one day old.

I regret subscribing. Crappy, interface. Garbage content.. You get more ad’s as a subscriber then an unsubscribed reader. Save your money. This app and this organization is Trash.

Buggy with Annoying Popup Ads. Buggy with Annoying Popup Ads

The worst. These guys have turned into a total joke. They were on the same story on five different pages. They should stop there editors from doubling as janitors.

Nearly impossible to read daily comics. Shows comics on only portrait mode with no ability to zoom in.

GREAT NEWS FOR DECADES. LIVED HERE SINCE 1960’s. This is an excellent paper and resource.

A must for PBC residents. Be in the know with PBP!

Crash, crash, crash - worthless. I cannot think of any other app that I have that is less stable than this one. It just updated and still the problem persists. I rarely get through a whole story without it happening. It's completely frustrating. I find it so annoying that I rarely try it a second time after it crashes. I just move on to another, more stable, local news app.

ePaper. No ePaper app in Apple App Store any more and no easy access to eEdition. How about a link at the top or at least in a menu within the Palm Beach Post app. Not a good way to keep your long term subscribers happy.

Change isn't always good. The app has been completely redone and completely changed. Homepage where articles are is too cluttered and not user friendly. No reason to change the page so drastically when it wasn't that bad to begin with. Only change that was needed was to get the app to stop crashing.

Palm Beach Post. Enjoy the subscription. Good to know what is going on in my neighborhood. Thanks!

New app. Terrible no font size adjustment or view

BAAAAAD‼️. Stop changing it to make it better….only to make it even WORSE🤬‼️ You’ll not see us re-subscribe!
