Worst. Happy to see it not just me…I used to love this app…now I can’t read without the print being too small, too big, or too sensitive to the touch, reverting back to another unreadable font…I like reading the paper from my iPad, horizontal, in full one page at a time fashion…I used to do that, now I can’t…also, do you not have the USA add on anymore…ugh, I really don’t know, I can’t get that far until I get frustrated and move on to another paper…

Local news. I like the local news in the paper but could do without the national news. It seems one sided politically... I wish it were more impartial.

One sided Democrat Rag. 80% of Letters to the Editor are pro Left Wing Democrat and the majority are from Naples residents. The 20% of pro Conservative Republican letters are, for the majority, from Cape Coral, Fort Myers, & lesser known rural towns in Southwest Florida. This is done purposely to depict the Democrat supported letters as coming from the “Woke” Naples community, and the Republican supported letters coming from the “old rednecks in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, as well as lesser known , rural areas of Southwest Florida. Nice try.

International news. Keeps us up to date around the world AND locally!

App doesn’t load properly. What a mistake! I should never have used my Apple ID to purchase the Naples daily news. The app doesn’t load properly and The Naples Daily News won’t help. I tried Apples customer service,but no luck either!

So disappointed. Longtime subscriber, but on Dec 24th I was unable to load my daily newspaper. Same thing again today. I have no idea what it is about but it is totally unacceptable. I have reloaded the app a few times but it does no good. Seriously thinking of canceling my subscription of many years

iPad app loads very slowly & crashes regularly??. The App is really slow to load lately and I experience frequent crashes that requires relaunch. What is up with this? I’ve deleted and reinstalled it without any better results. My iPad is not very old so its not the machine it’s the App.

Lost without it. I start each day with the Naples Daily News. The digital version allows me to keep in touch even when I'm away from home!! It's the best!

Great local news app‼️. Even has a feature that lets the reader “catch up” on missed stories

Good. Succinct titles. Easy to navigate. One problem is that old news stories sometimes never leave. When I open the "paper" each morning, I don't want to reread yesterday's news. I want only the new articles. Also while scrolling through, the ads are so sensitive that a soft finger touch opens the ad unintentionally. Then you have to get back to your article and break your chain of thought. Lastly, takes a long time to load and refresh. Needs a little work but overall good.

Terrible. I pay a monthly subscription. I shouldn’t have to be subjected to commercials that you cannot exit out of. You have to watch the commercial or you can’t read the story. Also, the quality of journalism has really gone downhill. Spelling errors, punctuation errors, same stories posted for days on end. We’re in a sad state of journalism.

E-edition. Say what you want about deterioration of local newspapers under Garnett’s dictatorship, the destruction of the e-edition for iPad was almost the last straw. Until just a couple of weeks ago, reading the paper on a tablet was a one click affair and full screen viewing in letter or landscape was easy. Not so now and I find with diminished eyesight reading the paper has become laborious. Thank goodness for Newsmemory. If that goes away so does my subscription! It’s bad enough that it’s no longer a daily newspaper - it should be called the Day Late and Dollar Short News.

Absolutely abysmal upgrade. I can’t describe how poorly the app was upgraded for the e-edition. Incessant ads, blurry images, can’t print puzzles like you used to, keeps skipping to pages you were not trying to reach. I guess the managers did not test the upgrade very well to let this severe backslide occur. Searching for an alternative source of local news then good bye to what used to be an excellent app but has progressed into a miserable app. Does anyone like the new app?

Runs more like a TV news app than a newspaper. The login is having constant problems and some days recognizes me as a Subscriber and some days it doesn’t. Frustrating! App works well but stories do not change from day to day like a paper. The app also doesn’t have all the stories of the paper. Feels like get highlights and ads.

Naples & the whole Universe. Love the news not only local news but also the whole living things in the whole Universe. Peace!

Citizen. I used to enjoy reading the Daily News as a way to keep up with local events and happenings. However, lately the articles are becoming more partisan, misleading and divisive. I don’t mind reading about alternative views, but the liberal bias has crossed the line with recent reporting on the Parental Rights bill recently passed in our legislature. Elections have results and what was proposed and passed reflect most parents views to prohibit discussion on sexual orientation and choice, all sexual orientation and choice, to our young and impressionable youth until they are of a more appropriate age. Let the parents handle these discussions and learning experiences and teachers stick to basic educational topics…reading, writing, math, geography, english. Why is that such a hard message to understand and respect. Please stop with your misleading descriptions in an effort to influence and please get back to educational basics. Parents trump teachers.

Naples Daily. Moved here from Dallas recently and so far I’ve enjoyed my paper subscription 7 days a week.

Letters to the editor. I love to read your letters to the editor and your editorials. My home paper, Dayton Daily News, no longer has local editorials and very few to no letters to the editor. Letters to the editor reflect the pulse of a community. I am a fiscally conservative republican. Your letters sometimes make me both sad and angry at the same time. They reflect the lack of communication between the parties.

Hard to find articles. You get an email with the look of the hard copy newspaper....it’s almost impossible to find the stories on the App without laborious searching. The front page stories should be at the top of the App. It should have the ability to go to different sections as the paper’s laid out... Front Page, Business, Sports, Neopolitan, etc. The App is not organized at all...has multiple stories & reports from old days strewn thru it. The Newspaper & App should highlight the News Today, as newspapers were designed to do.

Can’t beat the traffic alerts and new restaurant news. Really like all the speedy alerts on road closures and traffic back ups. But love the food reviews and notifications about new restaurants opening in the area.

Everblades hockey. The app is pretty good but there are times when they don’t update any news. In particular if you go to Everblades news it has not been updated since their 1st game about 2 weeks ago. It is now November 3rd. still no update on Everblades. Also emailed customer support about issue and they never answered back. Terrible business practices. Changing rating to 1 star.

No access to subscriber content. Wow! Just tried to read subscriber content, the content Naples News charges well above what other news services charge and for that I get an app that has signed me out on all devices after the update. I cannot sign back in although support said my account is active. Only advice I get is to reinstall the app and on the one device I tried that on the app will no longer download. On another device I selected update from the App Store and am asked repeatedly to enter my Apple password. When I ask support if there is an issue they just say they have not been told there is an issue........not helpful!

Impossible to navigate. The recent change in display is driving me crazy. I read the main section okay, but then the business section does not display. I am pretty close to canceling my subscription because in addition to the difficulty navigating it the ads are overwhelming and requires too much effort to get rid of them. The New YorkTimes is a much better interface!

Cancel. I am cancelling my subscription as of this date. I accidentally read an article by Nancy Armour in the sports section. Now I can understand USA Today publications printing Opinion pieces of dubious merit in the Opinion section.(ie. mcFeaters). However, this drivel about athletes’ protesting rights bears to the far left of hysteria and bigoted hate mongering. I have assumed the Naples Daily news must have some discretion in selecting the articles it prints. Whoever thought this writer’s opinion merited sharing with any sentient reader should be taken to the woodshed. There you have it. Consider my subscription canceled.

Informative. Keeps me up to date with the local news

Where is the front page of the paper. This app is terrible. It takes 10 minutes to get through all the sign in steps, and then I can’t even find a way to look at the paper on a page by page basis. Any other paper I look at on line is much better than the Naples Daily News.

Terrible. This app has changed in the last 4 days. Won’t go to e-book so that it looks like the regular paper. Very disappointed this has changed. Won’t renew if this is not available. Anybody out there even read these ratings and posts?

Not very useful. I do not think that the highlighted “news” in this app is even close to the subjects that are important to me. Too much sensationalization. Let me determine what is important to me by providing a newspaper where I can locate, read, enjoy the news.

Very difficult to navigate and read.. App is NOT user-friendly, and the problem is compounded when the techs make coding changes and hide access to some features (ie: Where is the archive hidden today?)

Really bad app. Most Apps you want to just work. This one may for while, then not, then decide to change how it works. I never saw an App with a mind of its own before.

Keeping the spirit of Naples alive. I've always enjoy reading the current news of Naples! The Naples News does a fantastic job covering all aspects of the news. It's like I never left! Keep up the excellent coverage.

Local news, quick an easy!. The Naples Daily News app is easy to use. I setup updates so that I can see breaking news. Sometimes the headline is all I need, but if I desire more information I read it all. Thanks!

Naples Daily News online. Just started my subscription online and it is great! Well organized and easy to use. I was a delivery subscriber for 21 years, but had an unhelpful delivery person who wouldn’t listen, so I cancelled. Glad to be back as s subscriber.

Dysfunctional App. I have opened an account and subscribed but the app continually loops me through email verification. Ridiculous. When I attempt to “restore purchase” the app runs without updating the page or subscription status. It also does not appear the app allows multiple users. For the cost that is terrible.

Can’t receive NDN on my work computer.. Everything else is fine for the most part.

Can’t for the life of me figure out how to cancel this.. This app won’t let me login any way other than through facebook and when logging in through facebook it won’t let me look up any archived news stories. I guess I need to spend an hour on the phone trying to figure out how to cancel this subscription.

Naples daily news newspaper. This app is very unreliable in “Enewspaper” mode. The screen freezes constantly, pop up ads cloud the screen every couple of pages and navigation (in terms of going forward and back pages) never works due to screen freezing. So frustrating I am. Going to skip this paper

Great. Naples news provides a local source for news and articles that you don’t find in other news apps. Five stars from me. Bob.

Doesn’t Always Work Correctly. I am a digital subscriber. Naples News sends me links to articles. When I go to read them I get a message saying this content is only for subscribers. Then, I have to sign in which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Love it. We have a home in Naples we visit about once a month. The Naples Daily is the first paper I open in the morning. It's on point and well written. Love it.

Naples Daily News is a great paper. Love this paper. We are moving to Naples in July. We subscribed to this paper to get a feel for the Naples area. This paper has done that for us. Very good local reporting. Also good State-wide news. Thank you for this well constructed newspaper and information center.

Enjoying news again. Since subscribing I have begun to enjoy news again, after stopping my paper delivery a decade ago. It’s good to get news of my area again.

What is the definition of breaking news?. The app is fine, but the constant notifications are tiring. I tried to limit what notifications I receive to only “breaking news”. However, I still get a notice about a restaurant review!! I don’t need to be bothered with an alert about sushi!

Bring back the old app. The app was great, until you just changed the whole app and now require us to log in every time we want to read the paper. I Read it on my iPad. No one else can log into my iPad, so why are you forcing me to log in and verify every time I want to read the paper? And why are you blocking me from reading a paper with pop up ads which stay on the screen for a set period of time when I pay a lot of money to read the paper? The paper freezes at least once per paper, forcing me to have to close the app and log in again. And every time I have to log in again my font settings have been lost. Absolute worst app upgrade ever. Are you trying to push customers away?!

Can’t View Content. I’ve been a digital subscriber for six years. I can no longer view content on my iPad or computer. The screen welcomes me back by name, however whenever I click on a link, the next screen asks me to log-in. After I do, I’m relegated to multiple loops requiring that I activate my subscription followed by the log-in screen. I’ve made three calls to customer support each of whom was no help. However, the company religiously charges my credit card each month.

Not allowed to read any articles!. Used to be a good app. Why did you change the app mostly for subscribers! Don’t see that on other apps. A snowbird that enjoyed the weather, many great restaurants and shops. Like to inform friends and family what are the best restaurants and shops to visit. Especially ones that didn’t pass inspections, for them they should avoid. But now for only Subscribers! Very odd.

Difficult to manage. Have been trying to find the tab for automatic renewal so i can turn it off. Do not wish to continue with the subscription

Unable to print. You probably believe your revamp of the enewspaper is better version, however from my perspective the lack of an option to print the puzzles is enough of a negative for me to not renew. Please fix this issue. Thank you

Naples news. Great online paper.

Being Connected. The app keeps me connected when I’m traveling or up in Wisconsin.

“Sharing” function doesn’t work on an iPad. The requirement to “Click and Drag” on the Sharing function doesn’t work on an iPad. The small “selection box” in the upper left hand corner just moves the page around the screen and does NOT expand or modify the selected area. So neither Email nor Download/ Print buttons can be utilized beyond the area initially included in the select box on the screen. Most frustrating.

App review. Do not like the new view in the app. Do not like the fact the page moves when i try to read the paper. I have deleted the app and reinstalled several times and it is still not good. Can you help with this issue?

Really Stinks. Terrible changes, cannot swipe from one page to another, page does not fill screen, cannot print suduko. Cannot zoom in on an article. Why?

Ok if you want only left leaning news. Completely biased news. Naples is a conservative town and this paper only prints left leaning articles i have canceled my subscription and hope everyone else does also

Horrible. App fails repeatedly to connect you to your account to report any problem. Asks you to sign in again and again but fails to connect. Just horrible and I am going to cancel my subscription for good!

Excellent coverage. I truly appreciate the coverage of local matters… Well, written with all the pertinent facts.

Poorly organized. I have been a subscriber for a few years now. The eEdition will not load. I get about half the stories in the paper copy. I think it’s time to give up and simply use a local news app instead.

naples digital app. After subscribing for a 1 year promotional subscription the app will not let me open “subscriber only” articles. It defaults to a new promotional screen to subscribe again. I spins indefinitely and never lets me have any other options

Online subscription problems continue. Constantly prompts for sign in and doesn’t remember you already have a subscription.

On-line version no longer works.. It no longer lets me see a complete version of the actual paper, which it did up to four days ago. If this can’t be fixed, I will unsubscribe.

Billing issues. Doesn’t recognize you have paid for subscription. After paying 99 dollars for annual subscription - still blocks you from subscriber articles

Silverfox. Not up to date. Articles are outdated and not current. The sports area needs help. Sometimes they are 2 days old.

Love “In The Know”. Great small town paper with wonderful “In The Know” articles to keep us informed of new and interesting local developments.

Restricted access. The reason I gave 2 stars is because there are articles that are listed for subscribers only. I am paying a monthly fee so I am a subscriber but you limit the content which I feel is wrong and a bit of a bait and switch.

Print View. Would prefer being able to have electronic copy that looks the same as the printed paper

Crashes!. This app used to be fine, but now it often crashes at startup. And the first page takes forever to load. Barely usable.
