Great content but expensive. Like many papers these days, they’re forcing subscriptions. I was able to get the $50/year deal but I wouldn’t pay more than that.

Needs an update. I love this app! But just recently it doesn't have a back button. When your reading an article and you want to go back to the main list of articles, you can't, at least I can't, the "back" button is gone. But other than that, it's a great app

Happy with App. Enjoy the updates. Seems a little slow. I can see updates in Face Book and other media before postings in this site. App should offer UNIQUE news not found in other sites.

Gator news coverage.. Very good app . Quickly loads and easy to navigate. Only drawback is subscription fee to get in depth stories. Very reasonable though.

Gatorsports. Best app for Gator sports fans. Informative, well-written and current articles. Keep up the good work. I love Tebow but I would like some personal stories on current athletes. More on women's sports they win the most hardware. Gator sports continues to be narrow minded, covering football, a little basketball and very little of any other sport. They beat football to death. The best choice for football anything else forget about it.

Kentucky Gator Fan Loves GatorSports App. Living in Kentucky and being a diehard Gator Football fan, as well other GatorSports, I rely heavily on the GatorSports app to stay up to date. I love reading Dooley and Andreu articles and all the little nuances they put in the story. While I can't be in Gainesville to see and cheer on my Gators, this app is next best thing for a far away fan.!!

Good Gator News source. Great source for updates on Gator sports, but new software update from Apple has caused it to freeze for me. Please fix as we are in the best part of the season for updates. I deleted and re-installed but still not loading. Thanks and Go Gators!

Other sports. I subscribe to this to keep up with Gator sports other than football and men’s basketball. There are sufficient ways to follow those, but not so much for sports like baseball and softball. You don’t do a very good job on timely reporting on those and other sports like volleyball and tennis. Even timely scores would be better than what seems hit or miss.

Happy to see new faces. I’ll be honest, I know Pat Dooley was a staple for gator coverage for decades but he was just a pessimist. I never felt like he was “for” UF... I understand not wanting to be a homer but he went too far the other direction. All that to say, I like Zach and Graham and will now start reading the GatorSports content again.

Still Supported??. I've had this app installed for several years. Although some sports were covered more thoroughly than others, it was a good, and free, app to keep up to date in the Gators throughout the week. News was reprinted from other sources and rosters and schedules were only available for a few select sports. Since the update to iOS 9.0, the app crashes while attempting to load. We are now on iOS 9.1 and there is no fix in sight. Since I am not the first reviewer to point this out, it should be clear to the developers that this is occurring. Since there has been no response to any of these reviews, it leads me to think that this app is no longer supported. I will wait a while longer before deleting but I do hope somebody takes the time to get it working on iOS devices again.

The best Gator sports coverage. Pat Dooley and the guys do the most comprehensive job of covering the Gators that you’ll ever find. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because the site seems to be a bit slow with breaking news or updates.

GatorSports. Get all the Gainesville Sun writers plus extras.

Finally. Heck yeah! It's about time G'ville Sun! This will replace my Miami Herald app, since those idiots now want us to pay a subscription, for what used to be free. I gave this app 5 stars for being free! A schedule would be nice though.

Needs update for iOS 9. This app was never great, but it gave you a fair amount of Gator sports coverage. Now, with the release of iOS 9, you can kiss that goodbye because the app no longer works. Open it up, it tries to load, but ultimately quits because the developers need to get of their keisters and provide an update. Before iOS 9, the app was between a 2-3 star app mostly due to the content it gave you access to. Now it's worthless.

Not too shabby. App takes advantage of retina display and has a clean UI. Some of the pics are fuzzy within the app though. Lots of good info I didn't find on bleacher report and others. The best app for the Gator fan I have found thus far.

useful but lacking. If one does not live in Gainesville and subscribe to the Sun, this is a useful app. However, it seems that stories are not published on the app until they first appear in print. So, this is not helpful in trying to find out the scores and/or descriptions of games before the paper comes out. I looked yesterday for the outcome of the baseball and softball games and they were not reported here.

No new articles. This site used to post new articles daily, or multiple times a day. For the past few months, new articles a week or two apart. For an out of state, lifelong Gator fan, this is totally unacceptable! Whomever is responsible for maintaining the site should be replaced.

Great app. It’s great that they updated the look of the app and updated it so that it works on iPhones again. However, the app is unstable and it crashes a lot. You can’t even open the articles sometimes.

Update App!. Please, please, please fix the app with the latest iOS 9. update. It doesn't open anymore! Come on!!

Keeps getting worse. The app has a ton of problems. It shows image huge and blurry. Takes for ever to load or update. The one positive is it no longer shows special characters weird.

Weak!!. The app frequently crashes. Why can't I view one page? If I view Gatorsports on the internet I have to answer idiotic and irrelevant questions before I can read an article. I've had this app for years and hardly use it anymore.

Recently Crashing. The app has recently started crashing to the point you can't even make it through one article. It's a shame bc I love the app!!!

Gator App. This app lets me keep up with all things Gators.

Join the 21st Century. Its a app, its orange and blue, it has a big G on it…..other than that it’s pretty pathetic. I’d pay for a quality product if the Halifax group would make one. This is below average at best. When it works, it’s good to read about my beloved Gators. Come on guys, wake up and join the 21st century.

Crash city. Since iOS 9 update this app no longer works. It appears to be no longer supported. If so, pls let us know so we can delete otherwise we are waiting for an update.

Good then now Not. The app was good but since the last IOS update the app no longer works. This is probably due to the fact there has not been an update to the app since 2012. Fix it and I'll be interested in the app again.

Often timely, always insightful. This is one of my two goto Gator Apps, and the first one opened each day year-round.

Horrible app. I wish I could rate it 0 stars. Words in the articles are replaced with symbols. Crashes often. You can only open a few articles per month without signing up for a subscription. I have had this app on my phone for many years. I open the app every now and then hoping it would get better, but it doesn’t.

Too crash-prone. The content is good, but the platform is really unstable and crashes frequently even with up-to-date hardware running this application. Rather disappointing.

Good App overall. I love how it keeps me up to date with all that is happening with football. My only complaint is lack of schedules. It would be nice if the app had scheduled for all sports or at least football.

After update it’s still full of unorganizable characters. It took a long time for this app to update. It has been plagued with weird characters and the long waited update didn’t improve much.

Good for Gators. The app is a go to for Gator fans. The navigation has been improved and the layout is ok.

Has potential. This would be a great app if it was updated with some regularity. But, the stories are usually at least a week old... Disappointing to say the least.

No longer supported?. I have used this app for years to keep up with my Gators, but recently the content has been dated. The top story is now one week old! I know there is a lot going on right now in preseason football practice.. Hey GatorSports please support this app !

All is does is crash. I never got to see how the app worked since whenever I opened it, it crashed. Tried about 10 times before I deleted it.
