Garbage compared to its competitors. I would like to say this is my first review in the App Store since 2012. I have used this app (not by choice) over the last 5 years for my sons basketball and baseball tournaments. It is the most irritating thing when you are trying to figure out playing times going back and forth between the standings and bracket to try to figure out the schedule in advance the BAM ad!!!! They need to place their ads better. In fact I wish they would find another way to make money. It’s like those cheap games that have an ad every 30 seconds. Thank god most tournaments use a cloned version of this without the ads!

Fix your ad strategy. Ok I get it! You have to monetize it with ads. But you gotta do it better! It’s unacceptable to have non-skippable full screen interstitials. They have to be skip able at 5 seconds. Some are but most of them are non skip til 30 seconds. Why don’t you guys utilize 320x50 banners and have them bolted on the bottom or top of the screen. Yeah it’s always there but at least it isn’t as intrusive as a 30 second full screen interstitial. If you have permanent spot for a 320x50 banner, not only will you make more money than interstitials but your users will be happier! Think about. How long is your session length per user? How many session per user per day? Let’s say refresh rate of 15 seconds and ecpm of .25. You already can do proper forecast. Cmon guys, do better. Shoot, there are some screens where you have space to throw in a medium rectangle ad.

Love it!. I really do love tourney machine!! When we are away we have enough to keep track of and it is awesome to have tourney machine keep track of schedules for us. I do wish I could search for past years of tournaments tho. I had them on my last phone but the past tournaments did not save to my new phone. I wish I could look them up again and have them on this phone.

Decent App, Terrible Experience. My son is playing in a tournament this weekend. This is my first time using “Tourney Machine”. The App seems ok, but the tournament organizers are terrible at updating. A tournament organizing app is only as good as the information uploaded. I’m my case, this was a fail. The tournament is an hour away. My kid lost in the second round of bracket play, took his sweet time gathering his stuff, and is now home. The game 1 scores are not in the app yet. My guess is that the entire tournament has completed and I still have no idea how any bracket scores finalized. Not really the apps fault, but didn’t leave me with a good experience.

Improvement. As a coach we look for teams that match up well with us. You already have the data, it would be easy to make each team searchable to see the records or general results of each team. I know it would not be perfect, but It would help coaches decide where to play each weekend. I think it would also balance out as many teams are over matched while others just clobber everyone.

Ads and Paying. This app just adds to what is wrong with sports. Extorting parents to follow and watch their own kids. Why do I, as a parent, have to pay in order to remove ads to be able to see when my kid plays a game? Sure you can not pay and deal with ads over and over that do not close, have no way of closing, or hovers the ad in the middle of the screen. The close out button of the full screen ads gets placed in the very top corner pf the screen to the point it’s impossible to close out. While looking through the outdated bracket screen there is a 1992 angelfire looking ad blocking the view. If you need money to pay for your app I understand, but get it from the tournament directors and managers. Not the parents that are just trying to organize their kids schedules. Put this in the tournament gate fee and Athletes Go Live category of crappy app development while extorting parents for money to support their kids.

From a 5 star to a 1 star. We have used this app for many years for lacrosse but something has happened in the past several months that has made this app impossible to use and there is nowhere to report an issue. The font overlaps itself so you cannot read anything. You have to hunt through the tourney pages and use the general schedule and bracket to actually be able to read anything. The standings page and any page associated with following a particular team are unreadable. My app is updated and I’ve tried closing and reopening the app and completely uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I really hope the developer reads these reviews and fixes this issue as it seems based on these reviews that many others, including several of our other team families, are having the exact same issue.

Paid Twice - Still Bombarded with Ads. I’ve paid for two different tournaments this weekend, $1.99 each. Now I keep getting popups offering an ad-free experience for $.99/month. When I decline that offer, I watch another ad. If I try to accept the offer, and throw away additional money, nothing happens. Clicking on the button to purchase doesn’t actually work. Then I close it and get hit with another ad. Beyond getting ripped off, it would be great to have some way to know which tournament messages came from, without having to try the inbox for each tournament. Perhaps a unified inbox with a designator for the source? There’s a ton of potential, but the execution falls woefully short of expectations.

Keeps showing ads after paying.. I have paid for the ad free version. I have to ‘restore’ that setting every time I open the app because it shows me an ad. If I press restore it freezes the app. I then have to restart. The ads that play will not stop and don’t allow me to close the ads. I have to restart to get rid of them. Eventually I will get to see a game schedule before an ad. Annoying. This is the only way I found to contact customer support. Hopefully someone will respond.

Seriously. How can I be the only one star review? My whole family has the app to track my sons basketball games and it is the absolute worst to try and use. This app is super buggy, every time an ad comes on the whole thing crashes. The tournament search is a joke. It narrows it down barely, why can’t I just search for the name of a tournament if I know it. I follow teams all the time, but it erases my team every time I get off of it. One would think I was using some outdated piece of technology and it was my fault...nope, iPhone XR for me, wife has an 11 and neither of them have ever been able to use this app with any amount of reliability. I know the only way for it to work properly is if I pay a then to use it, but why should I have to? That’s why they sell ad space, I’ll check em out, it’s a win win....just wish the app was a win and not a depressing failure.

Cannot zoom on screen. Type font is minuscule and unbolded for game times and cannot be enlarged with a zoom feature. Works fine in WiFi, but has failed to open correctly and work at the fields over cell data for three tourneys now. Doesn’t even show the page I had up in WiFi without updates. Shows no information at all. Nice to be able to see scores later and bracket but at large tourneys hasn’t got a good format to get a feel for large brackets.

Words show up on top of each other. I have tried to download this app so many times I’ve lost count. Every time I do it’s like I get a half line of text and the top of the word doesn’t even show up. Then when you go into the actual teams the words are actually superimposed on top of each other so when you click on something you never get what you’re actually clicking to go to. I don’t know how else to fix this. Other people seem to be able to use it without a problem. Help. I have deleted the app and attempted to download it again many many times. It keeps happening every single time.

App constantly crashes. There is something wrong with the app. It crashes every time you attempt to use the search function . Very frustrating as I can not load my tournament this weekend. I have updated all software and still crashes on every device in household.

Notifications, please!. We have to use this app to get information about the date and location of my son’s basketball games because they don’t publish it anywhere else. It is relatively easy to use (although the ads are annoying). However, our league often moves game times/locations as late as a day or two in advance and the app doesn’t send a push notification so we almost missed a game today. The app also doesn’t indicate if a game time/location has changed when you look at the schedule (so I often wonder if I’m going crazy). If they added notifications for game changes it would make things a lot easier. We use a different app for flag football and get push notifications for game updates from that app.

Loved it, then.... I love the concept of this app, and so far it’s been great 90% of the time. However, I ran into a glitch this week where weather dictated changes to times and field locations. Everyone else’s app seemed to update but mine. It still had original info. I tried shutting down my phone, closing and reopening the app, nothing worked. Finally, I deleted and reinstalled the app...that fixed it. Gotta take a star away for that.

Could be more user friendly. Hard to find who’s coming in a softball Fastpitch tournaments. Find my team should say who’s coming instead. If I already have my team saved for that tournament I don’t think to click find my team to see who’s coming instead I click all the tabs on the bottom and when I click division and makes it look like no one’s coming unless you go over and click standings then you find who’s coming. Standings should be first then schedule if schedule is going to stay blank till the tournament happens. Just hard to follow. Makes you not want to play in USA tournaments. USSSA and FASA are easier to manage/view.

Crashing app. Whatever update happened 6 days ago has made this app inoperable on my device. I’ve deleted, reinstalled, reset, all the basic tech support solutions. They app doesn’t work it. If I try to search for an event it crashes the app. **Update: new update fixed app crash problem. Updated rating. Thanks!

Search bug. I agree with other requests to be able to follow my team, but I also get that every tournament is standalone and organizers won’t have unique team names to enable this tracking. But a search on team name would address this. I also think push notifications when venue changes would be a reasonable upgrade. Also a bug report option (the App Store option just brings you to Apple, not the developer). Anyway, if you set search to next week (New York, Basketball on IOS XR phone) it crashes, remembers the choice and keeps crashing until I uninstall. Like other parents I live on a border and would like to be able to search by tournament name instead of by state.

Homedale Baseball Tournament. I love the game of baseball, and this tournament certainly provided plenty of that game I love. So…I loved all of what I was available to watch. I love people and there were plenty of nice people. The weather was beautiful, the stadium is very nice, they served ballpark food, they allowed me to bring my my dog …and, I have prattled on long enough, but I hope you get the feeling that I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Homedale Tournament🤗

Live score. Is there any way that you could provide some accountability to whoever post bogus live scores. It would only take attaching that persons email, phone number or name to a score so they are identified. Nothing more annoying than trying to follow along and find out the score is completely different in the end. Happy to show you. I’m sure. It the first person to voice this concern.

Love this app. I run around 50 tournaments a year and have been using this software for about 3 years- I’ve learned the tricks! However, I’ve noticed since this app has become more popular the customer service has suffered. Some days I get zero response. Not great when your trying to run a tournament business. Really hoping they invest in better customer service- if your new to the app… good luck getting expedited assistance learning. They just gotta do better

Great but room for improvement.. App is great, but has plenty of room for improvement. Text for date and time is light grey, SO tiny and hard to read and not able to zoom into it. Home/Away are not easily identified or marked so we may distinguish jersey colors, etc. Our league uses the first team as home team and many tournaments use the second. It’s not always clear. We always have to double check and often have to change anyway since both team come wearing same colors. Also, it would be nice to be able to sync to your calendar or subscribe somehow, so you have access to live updates when organizers change game times and places. Or if they cancel due to weather or venue issues. As well as to see when scores are posted. There is also not a clear way to know if the schedules are final. Many tournaments post schedules early and give coaches a timeframe to request changes or to fix errors, if they do make changes it’s not always known. Nobody likes ads - we don’t want them, but I get it. There is always a delay to bypass them. Even worse is a subscription type fee. I’d rather just pay once and be done.

Is not telling me all the score. It’s only telling me like some game scores and then like a few it’s not telling me it’s only telling me the standing and stuff please fix this. It’s not telling me all the scores like I go on one team don’t show me two games and then like the games already over and then they don’t tell me the score and then I refresh it and then they still don’t. Pls fix this

Good when it’s working. Every softball season it’s the same thing. The app is stuck on the Find the Tournaments page. I can’t get in. I go to the full website and try to get in there. I thought that I saved my password but I didn’t. Now I’m trying to reset it and the website tells me that “there is no matching account for my email address”. I can login to the site using my email address, and the web page says “Nice to see you again” and has my email address shown. I just can’t remember my password and it won’t let me reset it. But when I can get in, the app is good.

Tourney has helped very much. Tourney has helped a lot! From things to like not always being able to be at my child’s game due to my job. But with tourney I do not have to worry about that. I can see whether my child won or lose and that makes me feel much more comfortable with not being able to be there. And I have to thank this app for these particular reasons.

Incessant Ads, Yet…. Nobody likes ads. However, I’m not sure I’ve ever used an app where they are so incessant. Need to quickly verify a court/game time? Tough, here’s a video ad instead. Trying to keep tabs on multiple teams in the program? Then get ready to close a dozen pop-ups and multiple video ads in the process. It relentless. And then you get hit with the pop-up “enjoying the app? 1) could be better 2) love it” and you can click on Could Be Better all you want, the devs don’t care for feedback. The app generally serves its function — tournaments can be easily found, schedules are easily understood, location data helps with unfamiliar commutes. As long as tournament hosts stay on top of things, the app does too. But the UX suffers due to invasive, screen-dominant ads

JPR. I have used this site many times but this week was the last straw. We like to follow our grandson’s tournaments but this week the App let us down. There are no scores, either from yesterday or today, no standings and no brackets!! The game that ended an hour before, it says the it’s still being played and it’s in the first quarter!!! It does that for every game! Extremely disappointed!!

Love it until..:. This app was wonderful I have four children that I’ll pay travel sports. However about a month ago there was a glitch in the app where you can only see half of the words on the screen so I can’t tell what team is which. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still didn’t work. There are several parents on the team that I’ve had the same issue where they can’t read the names of the teams because they are cut off halfway across. This happens on every screen making it impossible to find my team. :(

Overall good. This is a great app for looking for what fields you are playing on, who your team is playing, when you are playing, and where you seat in the bracket. I use this all the time but it has lots of ads and the ads tend to be a little bit long. The ads take a while especially when your in a rush to find where your team is playing. Overall the app is good to use to find your team, etc.

Can’t find tournaments on the search feature. When l look for an upcoming tournament on the app, it does not list/show the tournament; however, when I search for the tournament on google and add tourney machine as part of my search, the tournament I was looking for shows up and will then redirect me to the app which will then show the tournament on sports engine. If I try to find it again by just going to the sports engine app, it’s still not on the list. Yes, I can look at recently viewed, but why do the tournaments not show up when the location, month and state are all entered in search?

Needs a lot of work. I don’t understand how this app is rated so highly and used by so many. I get the fact that there are ads, but half the time you can’t even close them after viewing them. They pop up way too much compared to other apps and sometimes they are back to back. Every time you go to search for a tournament even though it says what sport, “this week” and location, you still need to go in a pick the week and what not. You also can’t follow multiple teams which is annoying when you have multiple kids or teams that you play for.

Inefficient & confusing. Pop up ads get in the way of using the app and really distract from the experience. Instead of linking all the games and tournaments to your team you have to search for the tournament/league and then find your team. Search function is limited making it difficult to find said tournaments/leagues. No options for reminders or notifications. Formatting for uploaded information is bulky and difficult to see & navigate. Overall, visually underwhelming and not user friendly. I definitely would not choose to use this app.

Frustrating. As much as the app can be helpful to be able to see when game times change, how glitchy it is stands in the way of having a positive experience. The ads also rarely allow you to close them, so you have to totally close out the app and reopen it to get the information you’re looking for. Definitely not a smooth and streamlined process. Currently experiencing that it won’t show game times and saying a tournament my son‘s team is signed up for doesn’t have any games. I was able to look at them last night, but now it’s not working. Annoying.

Poor UI experience.. Once I select a possible tournament from the list in the search I cannot get rid of it. It’s now my default tournament even if it was the wrong one and the tournament we are supposed to attend has not been posted. Sometimes it takes a while for a tournament that we have entered to be posted and I don’t really want to be stuck viewing one I randomly looked at while searching. The only way to get rid of it currently would be to select another tournament from the list of tournaments we aren’t attending. That’s just dumb. The user should be able to remove a tournament and set the app back to default of having no tournaments selected.

Ad in front of brackets. I use this app a lot. If your child plays softball, you use it sometimes 10 times a day checking seed play, bracket plays etc. The most annoying part of this app is the ad smack in the middle of the Bracket schedule. You can’t seem to move it out of the way and it’s not at the very bottom but about an inch up from the bottom of the screen. Try to take a screenshot and the casino jackpot ad is smack dab in front of the information I need. I don’t mind the ad. Just MOVE it down.

This app is garbage.. Unfortunately I have to follow my kids tournament games on this joke of an app. I made the in app purchase to eliminate ads (and I have been charged for it) but they still continue along with a full page banner asking me to purchase the removal of ads! The ads themselves are not only continuous banners covering content, they also have full screen videos which cannot be dismissed. Just what I need when I am at a tournament with my kids and trying to find out where and when we need to be. There is no way to contact the app support team in app or otherwise. I have essentially been robbed. Functionality of several of the app features does not work at all even thought they are clearly intended to. Did I mention there is no way to get support? I think my grade school kids could produce a better app experience.

Not working properly. I have been looking for an update for a while. When I look at SE tourney, it shows all our games on whatever day I’m looking at it. So if I have the app open on 7/27, it shows all games are for 7/27, even if it is tournament and we have games scheduled for 7/27 and 7/28. It works properly on my husband’s app. I have tried uninstalling and installing again. Checked for all updates. It still doesn’t work.

Help. I just downloaded it and I put in all the information on what event, where it’s at , and when it is but it won’t let me go further then that. It will load but then kick me out of the app. When I try to go back it does the same thing all over again and I don’t know why. Please help I would like to know when my games are.

So many ads…. While the functional (sports management) part of this app works well and does everything necessary, the abundant and overly intrusive ads are major issue for me. I understand their desire to make money with the app but the entire structure of the app seems to be built on ‘ads first, content second’. The best advice I can offer users is to force close the app and reopen when the full screen ads appear. Some ads never time out or never give an exit option or worse when they are deceptive ads with close buttons. Stop with the full screen ads and join the modern times!!!

Very Lacking for Parents. Tourney Machine is fine when you get into a tournament. You can follow your team and see updated stats and brackets. However, the app is tournament-centric so you can’t follow your team across all tournaments and seasons. When you have a regular season plus tournaments, you have to find every tournament separately. It’s like having 15 different calendars to check. The search feature is very poor - you can’t search by name or org, you have to scroll through by month and state. We love on the border of two states so we have games in both states, so you have to know which state the tournament is set up under even if there are multiple locations. There is also no feature to subscribe/sync with your own calendar, so you have to add every game to your own calendar and continually check the app to see if games schedules have changed. It really is cumbersome as a parent and I only have one child. There are other apps that have all the features I’ve mentioned that are much easier to use as a parent.

App is just ok. App is ok it certainly not great. The number of ads is ridiculous. That would be moderately tolerable except that they don’t close and you have to hard stop and relaunch the application. You also can’t see the scores of games in progress and it takes longer than it should for the tourney folks to finalize the score and update the app. Lots of improvements to be made here. If some of this were worked out I’d think about paying.

Too many adds & hard to find upcoming tournaments. There are too many adds now! Adds are long, they make you watch videos without being able to skip over them. Then when trying to see the bracket times there is a big add in the middle of some of the games listed so you can’t even see the game times. Also should make an update to make it easier to find tournaments. Currently you have to go to the tournament website to pull up the game times and it will take you to the tourney app, wish we can just type in the tournament name somewhere on the actual app.

Crashes, but otherwise is great.. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall this app a few times because it crashes and will flash off and not allow searching or getting info. :( When it works, it’s great…and it does work the majority of the time. Once you uninstall and reinstall, no data from previous tournaments is available- have to start completely new. :(

Hate Hate Hate!!!!!!. I can't tell you how much I absolutely HATE this app, but I'm stuck at the mercy of the tournament adims who use this app for the basketball tournaments we play in. I've used this app for about 3 years and always curse #*%$ when I have to use it. I HATE the ads!!!! I don't want a month subscription!! I just want to purchase the app one time to get rid of the horrible adds. Another issues is you can't search for a tournament by name. All I can do is scroll through all the tournaments in the area. Really????? You can't search for an event by typing in the name?????? Isn't that a basic feature???? Again, this is a horrible app and I wouldn't use it unless I had to.

Poor Functionality. Look- if I told someone “I need you to create an app that downs exactly one thing poorly, lacks basic functionality that you would just assume would be included, and also please make it hard to use, and then to cap off the poor user experience, put in a ton of intrusive ads” and they gave me this- I’d rate it 5 stars. But I want two things from a scheduling app- I want to be able to find the schedule I’m looking for, and I want to be able to sync it to my calendar. This app mostly fulfills one of those requirements- I left my earlier review from a couple years ago below… search function hasn’t improved. ————————— Pretty frustrated with this app- downloaded to follow my son’s tournament this upcoming weekend and can’t find it on the app. It came up on the website, so not sure where the disconnect is. Not much of a point to the app if it doesn’t have the tournaments in it.

Great app, but 1.18 version keeps crashing. It looks like version 1.18 updated on March 7. Each time I click search for an event, the app crashes. I’m on iPhone 14 and I’ve uninstalled, installed, rebooted, etc. Thoughts? App is great for tournaments and learning bracket set up, scores of other games to determine who plays next. It’s also a great app for researching other tournaments our team is not at to see what other tournaments might be a better fit based on the competition. Aside from the current crashing, the only other review is to suggest an easier search function. Maybe a search by team versus tournament location or dates? Storing historical tournaments? Living in the northeast and mid Atlantic requires me to search 4-5 nearby states for events. And I agree with another reviewer, fix the ability to close ads. Or make it easier to pay to close ads. Thank you!

App won’t work. I have had this app for a few years and currently we are in basketball season and it won’t work! The same thing is happening to my friends. It will let us open the app, search the location and date but when I go to put in sport it says network error. Every time! Sometimes it won’t even let me pick a date or location. Always error! I have searched for help but nothing!!

Permissions. This app wants you to give it all sorts of permissions to access your data making it a security risk. I gave it the permissions it wanted and based on my location it found the tournament. I found my team and thought great that was easy, but then then I noticed the schedule did not match what the coach gave me. I backed out, maybe I had the wrong team. Couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t seeing the correct schedule I had the right tournament, plus the app pulled it up based on my location. Then when I looked closer, I found the problem, it pulled up the tournament from the year before, which wasn’t obvious because the date was in the smallest font. Additionally the app has ads that pop up and block the whole screen.

Final score???. Here is what I like about the app. I think it’s organized well, it’s easy to see who you play, field locations, brackets, tournament notifications & the like. I don’t like the ads, that you have to spend a stupid amount of time finding out how to close them & them requesting 99 cents a month for what was previously ad free (I think?). As far as the operation of the app, I wish that there was a way to finalize a game. I post the score as it happens but then it shows as “live” until those running the tourney finalize the game. I think there should be a way to indicate when the score is final by those reporting it, even if it’s not official yet. At least people would know the game is over.

App sort of works, but has extortionate add interruptions. You are probably going to install this app because it is the only way to get the information you need for a tournament you already paid an entry fee for. So you are forced to use it. When using it. It will pop up random interruptions, forcing you to find the hidden close button to get back to what you are trying to find. So they will try and annoy and badger you into the $1 per month subscription fee. All in all, kind of the worst of the worst slimy and manipulative and dishonest business model. Enjoy it while you are trapped in the “mandatory hotel” the tournament organizers forced your team to stay at..

Disappointed!!!. I just got this app to keep up with our grandson’s lacrosse tournament in Ohio It worked GREAT THE 1st game! Now it won’t even keep us updated!! What a waste of money!

Not readable. The fonts are too tiny for my middle aged eyes to read! Don’t millennial programmers know it’s us old fogey’s that play softball!!?

Grandpa in Canada. This is a great way to follow my grandson’s games remotely when I can not be there. Hats off to the organizers and the fantastic facilities around Birmingham AL. Wish we had that kind of organized baseball for kids up here in Canada but I guess hockey dominates the demand. So I guess more visits to Alabama are in order👍 Go CABA Jays GO 🇺🇸🇨🇦

Crashes when I open search. App used to work, however latest change is causing app to crash as soon as I try and search for a tournament. App is now totally broken for me. Running iOS 16.6 on 11pro

Could be great. Would be a great app if the pop ups asking how great it was would stop so I could actually use the app

Good. App is good, but need to be able to zoom in ....font for game time is so light and small - or use heavier font like the other text.

Ok App. I think that conceptually this app is brilliant for tracking tournaments. I have two main complaints though. 1) it is not user friendly or intuitive to find a tournament 2) I don’t know why the calendar isn’t integrated in with your personal calendar. Other apps like SportsEngine and TeamSnap do it. As the calendar may change it reflects on your personal calendar appropriately.

Hampered by intrusive ads. Let’s get this straight - tournaments pay to use this platform so the idea of soaking the tournament attendees to turn off ads is repulsive. The ads are intrusive to the point an ad for some game took over the whole screen and made me play the demo to get rid of it. The less intrusive ads often cover UI elements making smooth interaction with the app impossible. Terrible use of ads in an otherwise useful app.

App. This is a good way to keep up with games and the scores and see how the teams are doing. I’ve been into BB for years and it’s costly for the tournament’s and now Tourney Machine was to charge to have the app, and the cost to get into the games is enough

Cannot search on the app. I cannot type in the name of a tournament in the app in order to search. I can on the desktop version. The tournament I’m looking for (South Atlanta Open) does not appear in the search results for Baseball/GA/April on the app. Very annoying. And when I chose an event just to look at it, it’s added to my list. I cannot remove the last one because it says I have it “open”. Might as well delete this app and just use the website on my phone until search capability improves.

Don’t purchase ad free upgrade. I purchased the $1.99 ad free upgrade and I still have banners and pop up ads. They make it very hard to contact them. I have left a voice mail message and tried to email them. I’m not very hopeful that they will return my call and the email bounced back as undeliverable. All I want is for the ads to go away or for them to refund my money. Don’t waste your time on making this purchase.

Won’t Load Tournaments. I’m not sure what happened but for the past month, the app won’t show me any tournaments. When I select that I’m at the tournament, it says there’s nothing near me (full access to location is enabled on my phone) and when I search for one by selecting my sport and state and “all” results, it doesn’t show me anything past the end of May. We play PGF softball in California so I know there should be quite a few results for every weekend.

Good app. Ads super annoying. The app is really good, but I have 4 stars because of the ads. I understand they need to make money, but I use this app because it’s the only way to get our tournament info. There isn’t another option. My logic may not hold water, but I find the ads very irritating.

Maine Sluggers General Manager. Great app! Allows players and parents to see schedule and score of other games in our bracket. Makes last minute field and game time changes a lot less stressful knowing everyone can go to one place to see all changes.

Good app but…. The only complaint I have is the ads. Not that they exist but on an iPhone 13 (haven’t tried others) you can’t close the ads. The close ❌ is up in the battery icon and you can’t tap it so you have to force close the app and open again.

You should get it. If ur lazy like me than you need this app. It’s the best of all time. You even get to see yourself on camera and even see a playoff bracket of any sport. You should download this game cause it’s worth ur time

Not working. For some reason the app will open and that is about it. Keeps closing or freezing and will not let me pick or search a tournament. If I do get that far I can not select a team as it closes.

Great app !. this app is intuitive and user-friendly. Easy to use and follow and especially the feature of having live updates. I would recommend to any manager or tournament Director.

Disappointed. Very excited to use this app to keep up with my Grandson’s Tournaments. What a let down. The scores are not posted promptly, there are two games he played that are still not posted. You can not keep up with the score during the game because nothing is posted. It does not tell you if game is in rain delay. It really has not posted anything but the brackets and they are not kept up. Good idea for an app but it needs work!

Search. There needs to be a way to search for your team or once you follow a team it show you the next tournament without you having to find the tournament and then find your team after the tournament you are in is over.

What happened?. I have been using this app for years and it has always worked well. As of 3/7/23 it crashes every time I open it. I rebooted my phone, I deleted the app and downloaded again. Still crashes. We are in the middle of a league session and this is the only place the schedule is posted.

Crashes constantly & most Aggressive Adware. This App is terrible. Trying to find team or do anything on app on iPhone 8 it constantly crashes when you do anything on the app . Tried deleting and reinstalling and same result. Also this has one of THE MOST AGGRESSIVE Adware pop ups of any “Free” app I’ve ever seen. Constantly hounding user with full screen, scrolling ads changing position where “x” out of ad button is constantly. Almost impossible to not hit on an Adware kink. Kids and parents use this app for junior rec league sports and many ads are NOT age appropriate. Reporting this app to Common Sense Media, recommend other users to do the same and force their leagues NOT to use or recommend this app for use by children!

Frequency of pop-up ads makes this unbearable to use!. The number and frequency of ads in this app is extremely high! Plus, there is an ad banner at the bottom which makes it difficult to click in the app without clicking on the ad. I use many free apps with ads, but this one by far has the most! What’s worse is that I have to use the app for my daughters’ soccer teams, when normally I would delete the app and use a competitors. Tourney Machine has us between a rock and a hard place, and they know it.

What are the stats?. Needs a key for the stats. A group of parents stood around for 10-20 minutes trying to figure out what GA GD and GS stand for in this app. GA is goals allowed GD is goal differential we think- still don’t understand this one GS is goals scored It’s a little hard to find you way around in the app, but generally it’s wonderful

App okay, did not authorize subscription.... The app is fine to track tournament play etc. my issue is that somehow I am getting charged for subscription of ad removal. Which I did not opt in for. I don’t see any way to unsubscribe to this service and I have requested a refund. It would be great if the developer would provide some guidance on how to fix this issue. I don’t use the app enough to make it worth paying a monthly fee. Thank you.

Nice app. Using the app for his first tourney and like the way it’s laid out. Provides good information. Only thing is that (a) it would be nice if they gave better details on which diamond is #1, #2, etc for multiple-field parks and (b) had a better search function to narrow down by city or tourney name, not just by state.

How do I work this APP. Other people have this app and they love it but I can’t seem to have it to work. Every time I look at a tournament the screen goes black and then it kicks me out of the app, I tried everything, I tried deleting the app and then reloading I also tried exiting out of other apps. Can someone help me please. I need it to be with my team. Thank you for your time

Not worth using for live scores!. Scoring updates are so slow and all over the place. For example it’ll show score 6-0 then the next update it’ll be 0-0. Also if you’re trying to watch the score live you’ll have to keep going back for it to refresh. Not worth using for scoring.

Forced review. I downloaded the app and it forced me to do a review after 30 second. Well, I have nothing to review. So, I’ll give my 3 stars on the me download: it was a great experience. I hit the button, and played with my noodle until it was done.

Sound. Sound could be better always goes on and off also could have a better over all view of the field can’t see where the ball goes

Good APP. A small fix would put it over the top give us the ability to zoom the data presented so that those of us who have crappy eyesight can read the small print!!!

Obnoxious ads in an app I didn’t ask to use. Our league chose to use tourney machine app to track a tournament this year. The app has full screen ads that pop up frequently, sometimes without any button to clear them. I didn’t ask to use this app, and the league is using it for a single tournament.

App is difficult to read. I have used this app for years and it has always been great. But last year and this year I am having trouble reading the information. Everything appears cut off. I can barely read our team’s information. I keep trying to delete the app and reopen it but nothing changes.

Myrtle Beach Tournament. I got the app cause I was told I needed this app to watch my grandsons tournament. I was not able to watch any of the tournaments so the app was not a good choice for me. I was required to give my credit card info to access the app and would only be charged after the free 5 day period. I deleted the app cause it didn’t show me videos of the live game. don’t want to be charged when I didn’t get to use the app. There was nowhere I found on the app to cancel!

Issues. Had this app for years…no problems till now, for some reason, keep getting kicked off when searching for an event. I think it maybe an iPhone issue, not the only one. Deleted and re- installed, still not working

You need this!. I’ve used this app for a several years now. It’s been extremely helpful in tracking the progress of our games and the competition. You can follow multiple teams as well!

Coaches Perspective. I wish there was an option to see just a list of all the games going on regardless of field or age group. This is coming from a college coaches recruiting perspective but it would be nice to see every game happening at 11 so I knew what my options were.

Great app for family. Love thIs app! We live far from grandkids and with Tourney we know when and where they are playing and how their teams are doing. Great that we don’t have to text or call busy parents.

Seems great, but auto-play ads have got to stop. Decided to go hardcore on this: if an app plays over-amped audio/video ads without warning, I am going 1 star no matter how good it might be. Somehow, we have to get this obnoxious and often *very* untimely practice *gone!* Did not impress me that it asked me if I loved it before I had even had a chance to move off the first screen—and a click away from first very loud video ad. Will be happy to pay; give me option upfront. ..and let me use if before asking if I like it!

Incorrect Dates. The game dates always show current date and not date of actual game. It makes it difficult to know what the actual schedule is. This could make us going to the wrong place or being there at the wrong time.

Pay per tournament + per iPhone. WARNING: It’s not a one-time app upgrade purchase. You have to pay for each tournament and your iTunes purchase doesn’t cross over to your other devices under the same iTunes account. So I paid $1.99 under my iTunes account on my iPhone for 1 Tournament. I have to do the same for my wife’s and son’s iPhone also even though it’s under the same iTunes account. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️ If I would have known that I wouldn’t have paid initially. It’s not clear.

Good but needs more. I had issues after the last update. I sent email to them & they responding pretty quick which I appreciate. All working now. I don’t mind ads popping up but paying for every tournament especially with my daughter playing on 3 teams is a little much. Maybe year subscription would be better Also need to be able to just search by name of tourney

Great app but never updated at the end!. Use this app for lacrosse tournaments all the time, and it’s great BUT the championship games/final scores are almost never updated at the end. What’s the point when you’re following along from home?

Very helpful. This helps a lot with my travel times to the fields and when the games are. It is also very efficient, but the ads are kind of annoying to deal with. Other than that it is a good app that helps me when at a tournament.

Basketball Tournamants. You practice to get ready. You schedule hotels and team meals you travel out of town just to look at the bracket taped to a wall. Not with this app! Track your games, competition, your nephews games in another city. It’s awesome!

Live broadcasts. Hard to have people from all over trying to support their teams when it doesn’t work right….need another IT person to fix the issues…..no concessions open when games in play…wow so much lost revenue…the parents are willing to spend the rediculous prices…you have a captive audience…use it!😬😳G1G*

Unreadable. iOS user. Like others have mentioned, the words overlap so much that search function is really impossible. If you get to the right tourney, then finding your team is basically all hunt and peck guessing game. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Did not help. Change font settings on my iPhone. Did not help. I should mention it didn’t used to be like this. Previously I would have given 5stars. Hopefully the developers reply here so others can get the instructions to remedy this if it is a DIY fix.

Please allow search by team name. It takes too long looking up different teams. Please allow a search bar where you can search by just the team name to see where and time they are playing. Also a back button from inside the team to full tournament as it kicks me back onto the front page where I have to search for event all over again.

Keeps crashing. This app keeps crashing. I have tried to use it for over a year. No new updates available. I have an iPhone 7+. I get an error message every time I try to use this app.

Double charge !. It’s criminal what this app does. It charges the tournament organizers a lot of money to post the games on the app. This is paid for by parents in their team fees. Then as a parent when you use the app they charge you again to get rid of adds for each and every tournament. It’s a double charge! You got the money from our organization. Stop double charging the users!!

Great help to parents!. Tournaments can be so overwhelming: what time are our games? Which field are we on next? What was the final score? Tourney Machine keeps it all organized for you! I did have a little bit of trouble getting straight to the address of the fields. But that could be more me than Tourney.

Decent app with some obvious short comings.. You should be able to search precisely for your tournament name and not have to go through state filters and then visually scan long lists for the name of your tourney. Also the share icon once you’re in a tournament, or are on your team page, does not work on iPhone X.
