All inclusive & easy to implement!. As a 30 year business owner, I started using Sports Engine & Go Motion for website and member app. Go Motion has everything and is easy to get up and running! Parents love the app and I get my payments everyday! It’s all in 1 and one of the best decisions I’ve made. The staff is courteous and always available to help! Great app!

Horrible app. First the app name is not searchable by “sports” or the type of sport my kid does. So I have to remember some gibberish name every time I use it. The app won’t let me login w my email. When I go to the se engine web site. It tells me to google the sports team provider. Really? Google it? Ok I found it and logged into the team portal no problem. I don’t see my kid. And going back to the app it still won’t let me sign in. You’d think all the smart people and professional UX people could figure out something that works. It’s 2025. Not 1995

Great app to track payment to kids activities. I’m so glad our kids dance studio started using this app. It makes payment and communicating so much easier!

Register for classes. Shouldn't a mobile app include the ability to register for classes? You're missing the mark!

Delays. Imagine logging in at a swim meet (which takes about 30 seconds) to look up your kid’s time, switching over to any other app…then switching back over to this one and it taking as much time as the initial log on. Why does it have to do this or why cannot I have to option to turn off the refresh?

SportsEngine Motion. This app is truly a one stop shop! Allows me to fully run this operation effectively! Awesome communication app also!

Attendance and Classes gone from “Calendar” tab. Why would you take away the ability to see how many students are in a class on the "Calendar" tab? Speaking of the "Calendar" tab, why did you take away the "My View" option? Now I can't see the class schedule, what other classes are available, and if the class is full or not. These were the features I used the most on this app and now they're gone. One star. You should fix that

Just started using this app. Seems pretty easy to navigate so far.

Absolutely to BEST!!!. I had my 12 yr old girls at Rockdale Gymnastics for a year and the only thing they could do was a round off. After three sessions with BeastMode Athletics, one of my girls did her first unassisted backhand spring. And my other daughter is right behind her. The coaches at BeastMode accessed the girls and their skill levels and gave them the proper attention they were in need of. I would recommend EVERYONE bring their young athletes to BeastMode Athletics. They run a program that is enriching and results driven!

1000x better than the rest!. Our gymnastics gym started using this app a couple months ago. Far more easy to navigate than the previous system. Highly recommend!!

Solid. Could use a couple customizations

App crashes or closes every time I leave it to look at something else on my phone. I keep having to wait for the app to reload after checking something else on my phone. It used to stay open but now crashes or closes itself. Not convenient for checking entries or best times especially. Please fix this bug!

Makes being a dance mom easy!. Love the ease of using this app! I am NOT tech savvy. GoMotion takes all the guess work out for me and is extremely user friendly.

Just what my business needed. Finally an easy way to get registrations, enrollments, payments. Also have had help setting up everything which is amazing! Also an easy way to communicate with parents without being charged to text or email.

Appl closes and you need to constantly reload the page. The past few updates has not addressed the issue of the appl closing within seconds and then needing to restart from the beginning and find where you left off.

The app is even better than the website. The app makes this student portal so easy to use and navigate. I love it!

Great app all my info in one spot.. Only suggestion include end times of class in addition to or instead of duration.

Works great!. We use SE Motion for my daughters swim team. Really easy product to use and straightforward for signing her up for swim meets.

Great product for distributing information. We love how easy it is to keep our team informed, from what we’re working on to closures and upcoming performances. Parents love that they can pay from the app as well as register for events and classes.

Great App. This is a great app, I like seeing what we are going to do for swim meets, I am thankful for this app in so many ways. It lets me practice when I get to the meet site so I can add my relays and IMs.

awesome. it’s an amazing app it’s just like OnDeck, some of the stuff I am not so sure about like how they show events. Also sometimes it’s really hard to find things with makes it harder to use the app. Overall the app is amazing and definitely recommend it!!!

Much Improved. This app has been such an improvement over others from the past. I can track my kid, follow along and events and go back and search times.

Great App!. This app is very handy as far as sharing information, making payments, staying in the loop and also being able to enjoy videos of our tiny dancers showing off their moves! Easy to navigate as well which is a huge plus!

It’s a yes for me!!. So far, this app has been great. All of the information concerning my little athlete in one place. Much more convenient.

Terrible user experience, can’t print financials. We used GoMotion as our payment system for my child’s competition cheer organization. When it became apparent that the director was grossly mismanaging money and the gym was shut down overnight, many parents tried to delete their payment information to stop further charges. The “delete” button had disappeared from our parent interface. The only option was to call or email GoMotion. Several parents called and never spoke to a person. Messages were left and never responded to. I wrote an email and never got an answer or even an auto-reply. A few days later I got an email from the cheer director herself, who deleted my cards per my request. It was clear that GoMotion just forwarded everything to our director, who I clearly explained should no longer have access to my payment information. In addition, as we are trying to dispute charges for goods and services not received for the cheer season, it became apparent that there is no option in GoMotion for a parent to print their financial statement. This is mind-boggling. I now have to deal with a series of screen shots pasted into a document to show my bank receipts.

It works!. At first the signup process was confusing, but I blame my organization. It does what it needs to do though!

THANK YOU FOR FIXING THE TIME STANDARDS!!. The time standard feature of your app is SO useful for swimmers to see how far they are away from cut times. It has been down for MONTHS but I’m so happy to see thatbita working now!!

Great, But A Few Enhancements Needed. GoMotion has greatly changed my day-to-day, but a few app features are missing that would make it even better: Ability to sort by sub program on Social Feed, have an integrated chat feature like the SE app, ability for admin to enroll families and add classes.

Poor design. It’s clear that this app was pushed out without enough time or funding to make it a good app. First and foremost, switching back and forth from this app to another one and back—like you might when adding an event to your calendar—causes the app to reload, meaning you have to go through all the same menus and such every time. Really annoying! Second, when the team sends a notification through the app, you can’t see the whole notification without opening the app, and the messages quickly time out and disappear before you have time to read them. This app seems built to be paired with Team Unify, a.k.a. GoMotion, a.k.a. SportsEngine, and it’s just as user-unfriendly as those websites. The whole ecosystem needs a fresh approach with a stronger focus on UX and ease-of-use, not just endless rebranding.

OnDeck, vital app for year round swimming. My daughter is starting her 3rd year of year round swimming. The OnDeck app is my go to tool for declaring for individual meets as well as selecting events for each meet. I also like the ability to check best times for my daughter.

Added features that benefit both parents and administrators. New version is choked full of features that will keep everyone up-to-date on charges, classes, payment methods, skills, attendance and upcoming events. Greatly improved!

Updated: I had fallen to the cracks and they fixed it. Here we go again! I’m still getting invoices from them even though they told me that they would take care of it. Now my contact’s email address at GoMotion doesn’t work anymore. I’m hoping this review will get them to talk to me again and they fix the problem! The problem with this company is their internal communication. It is horrible! —— Below is my original review. They contacted me right away. We talked at length and it’s obvious that I felt through the cracks. What impressed me is that they took complete responsibility and they were open to hear what I had to say. Yes, all companies supposed to do that but it doesn’t really happen like this. We straighten everything out and it is fixed. They are putting better measures in place so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. GoMotion is a great tool and they keep making updates to it. —— GoMotion was recommended to me a few months ago. Talked to their sales staff and told them about very specific things that were holding me back from signing up. They assured me that they wouldn’t be a problem. I paid the sign up fee and spent several days setting it up. They assign you someone to help you with the set up. Unfortunately, that person never replies to your messages unless you make an actual appointment with them. And once you get an appointment with them, they are late and sometimes rushing through the call. I came to find out that the stuff the sales team promised is not true. Their communication with the costumer and between them is horrible. I sent them both team members an email with my concerns and that I was cancelling my account. Didn’t hear anything from them. I had to call the sales team until they answered and told them to please cancel. They apologized and they said that they would take care of it. Today, I receive and invoice for $150 saying that it is past due 55 days. Before you sign up with them, make sure everything is clear and make sure you can get out of it and get your money back if something doesn’t work like they promised.
