AEMT- paramedic in the making. This is a really good app! But it need a lot of software improvements. 5 days I go I bought it and it was working very well. Today I tried to open to look at stuff, and the main screen appears black. Not a reliable app, I want my money back!

Screen menu does not load. When starting the AAP the main menu remains black yet all of the other menus work fine The only way I can get the main menu to open is to reload the app Not impressed for sure since I actually purchased it the other day

Needs version for iPad. This is a great product if you don’t want to carry the physical book in your pants all the time. I just wish that they had a iPad version available in addition to the iPhone. While I am able to download this on our iPad the logo is not there so it is not easy to find and I have to magnify the app and everything gets distorted. My service uses iPads for our PCRs and would buy this for every unit if it were more compatible with the iPad and I would buy another copy for my iPad mini that I bring with me on flight calls with my other quick reference guides.

DO NOT BUY!. After ONE DAY the app only opens to black screen. To bad, would be great if it worked. Disappointed! I want my money back.

Good improvements. This version is much better than the original pdf type version. It is easy to get to the info you need quickly. The algorithms are easy to navigate with additional info at the touch of a button The various calculators (meds, pedi, burns)are helpful as well. Very helpful product.

Great App. This app was great. I use it a lot while going to paramedic school. Its a great quick reference to use instead of carrying a heavy book around. I like the fact the it does drug calculations for you. It is easier and quicker to use than the old pdf app. Great app keep up the good work!!!

Still Alcohol fast. I love this app, and use it primarily for studying, but bring it on clinicals as well. As someone who carries both the bound and the app versions, I can honestly say that not only does the app version allow me to free up a pocket, but it comes with some nifty "2-am-and-left-my-brain-at-the-station" tools to use to calculate anything from APGAR to drip rates. Don't waste money with five separate apps to help you remember drug dosages and dopamine drips. This is all you need... And worth every penny.

Best overall app. Available out there!!. This is by far the best App. out there and what it makes the best is it is a great partner for any EMS professional! Don't ride in your rig without it!

Great information, interface needs a tweak.. Anyone in EMS knows about Jones & Bartlett EMS guides. They know and trust the information and most of us are use to flipping through the small spiral bound pages to find the information we need. This app has all the same information, just laid out differently. I have had this app for several years and have not experienced the problems that the other reviewers have experienced. The app has never crashed, and I've always been able to get back to the main menu. The only thing I would change is to tweak the layout. Sometimes you have to go four or five pages deep to get to a particular piece of information. This is time consuming. Other than that...I really enjoy this app!

Great app when it loads content. Love the app when it actually loads the content. Often it is blank and re-downloading the app is needed and veryInconvenient when needed on an emergency run.

Medications. Have had the app on my iPhone for a while and it has come in very handy until the other day I updated the app and noticed that there have been several medications that were taken off the emergency medications list that I commonly used! Add those meds back to the emergency medications list and it would be a five star app again!

EMS ALS. Great app, use it a lot, have all the info I need right in my pocket and since I have multiple apps on my iPod all information is together in one place.

Great app. Another paramedic told me about this app. He showed it to me on his I-Phone. I bought it immediately. I used to carry the pocket field guide but now there is no need. I don't miss carrying an old field guide full of out dated information that doesn't update!

Please fix. This app does not work after installing the new update for iPhone. The topic screen is black and want navigate though app anymore. Please fix.

Fire and Ems, Cincinnati OH. Very useful, just another resource to have at your disposal to double check or confirm yourself. The hard copy is awesome as well the benefits I see to the app are the ability the designer has to add or update information and the likeliness to have your phone in your pocket is greater than that of the hard copy. ( unless your wear ems cargo pants complete with hemostats and a roll of tape hanging from the pocket)

Just keeps getting better. I've owned the paper/plastic version for years & it just gets better each edition! This is a must have app for any serious EMS professional... Especially at 3am.

Awesome quick reference!. I especially use it for prescribed medications. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. Works perfect on the iPhone 8 and X

Great app. Doesn’t work.. Used to work. Now the screen remains black when launched with only the header and footer shown. Please fix.

Now this is what I've been waiting for!. As a field medic and ER nurse I use my hard copy field guide most everyday. Now with additions like Y-site compatiblity and the convenience of having it next to other apps I use my new field guide will be used even more. Great job!

Does not have current AHA guidelines.. Needs to be updated to reflect current guidelines. Considering they no longer make the pocket guide in print and electronic versions aren’t able to be used by students for testing it would be nice if the study tools were at least accurate.

Black Screen. Used to be a great App and now just a black screen:((( please fix this.

Great!. I use a informed guide at least a couple times a shift. I no longer need to carry the spiral guide along with my iphone so this is huge plus! The calculator feature is great. It's easy to use and it should prove to be very helpful! I'd recommend this to any medic looking to save pocket space and have a great new tool at their disposal.

Not working. Downloaded and within and hr the topics page went black. I want my money back what a bunch of crap

Good app. I mainly use the formulary. Not as in-depth as ipharmacy or iresq but good. The other tabs contain most of the info you would find on the old field guides most of us carried way back when. Good app but a little pricey.

Great reference app. Works great. I haven’t had a single issue with it, and have owned the app for a long time.

Great Reference. This has always been the go to reference for me during my EMS career. The app is even ether than the original.

ALS guide. Not a bad application. I bought the hard copy as well, because people respond better to a flip book instead of a gadget, it makes you appear that you are engaging the patient care instead of messing around on your phone. It is a wonderful quick reference, missing some drugs, but you can't please each state's guidelines in one application.

A must have for all EMS providers!. I have used the hand guides by Informed since I started out in my EMS career. Now Informed takes their wonderful hand guides and puts them in an iPhone app verison for easy use and reference! I highly recommend all EMS providers download this app, you will use it time after time. It's only a few bucks and well worth it!

Excellent app for EMTP. Excellent app for any paramedic, I suggest future updates add a place to better organize protocol specific notes, put categories to notes to make them easier to find i.e. airway, peds, trauma, etc. Still an overall excellent app!

Even Johnny and Roy would use this!!!!. I own the hard version and let me tell you, I see more seasoned medics pull this out more than any reference around. We even kept them on the trucks. Worth every penny!!! I own all the apps and gave each 5 stars!!! Buy it, u won't be disappointed.

Wow!!! What a great app!!. This is probably one of the most in depth app I have ever had downloaded. I work in an ambulance and this really comes in handy after calls when I need to review something. It's also great to read in your free time, you are enjoying and learning at the same time! It's a great price for an awesome product. I would recomend this to anyone in the medical field!!

Ems als app. Does not work stuck on rsi page. They got me. Maybe I should create an app that does not work and charge $6 for it.

awesome. I couldn't have asked for more with this app- i've had numerous instructors and seasoned vets tell me to get the hard copy but then this came along- this app is always with me unlike te hard copy- good for downtime when I have nothing else to do but brush up on some skills- now ifthey only had a smo region 7 downlaodable book hmmm

ALS. This app is great for quick easy access to refresh on the way to a Accident or medical emergency ! I love how I can save certain sections to be a quick review

Black Screen. How do I get my money back?

Phone numbers. Awesome app until I went to look up phone numbers that used to be listed in old hard copy. Please put contact list back in program

Great info but please update. This app has great information and is a great reference. The only problem I have is when I open the app it says it needs to be updated and may slow performance if the phone.

Great App IN THEORY. If the app would actually work when I open it it’s a great tool. I have only had it open Once and work. Every other time I’ve ever opened it the screen has been black or it would just stick me on a screen and take away all the buttons to go back or forward. It is fixed by deleting it and re-downloading it, but who wants to do that on a call. Till they fix it it’s not worth the money

APP won't be useable after next iOS update. I've been using your product since before the App. However, I was using it this morning on a call and was informed that the EMS ALS App will not work after the next iOS update. Do you have plans on an upgrade??? I find this as an integral tool in the field. Please respond. This is important to everyone that use your products. Star rating will change w/ a new update.

Ok. It’s great when it works. When the screen goes black, have to delete then download it again. Inconvenient. Good thing I also carry field guide.

Terrible. This is such a waste of money! The “topics” tab where most of the info is doesn’t even work it just appears black! So when you need it just forget it!

Bugs. The app is just a blank screen 90% of the time when you open it no good!!! Please fix it

Please update App. This is one of The greatest EMS resources for years! I would gladly pay $20 or more for an updated app with bug fixes. I hate when it hangs up while I’m using it in the field!!! Please update!!!!!

Great App!!!. This is a very helpful app that one can take anywhere in the field. Very informative and it takes you through the steps of every situation that may occur. With that said, maybe the developers can incorporate ITLS in this app or make a whole new app that covers ITLS. Good job and keep us Firefighters and EMS in tune with the ever changing medical world.

Great, but needs update.. This app is wonderful. It needs to be updated for the latest iPhones and treatments. There have been a few changes recently.

Do not use ! Outdated and bug filled. Apple should remove as this app is no longer supported and outdated, may cause EMS professionals to make mistakes.

Paramedic. This app make work just that much easier!! Highly recommended!!!

Good App. Very easy to use and has most of the drugs that are utilized on ground ambulance. Good layout and lots of useful tools like a drug interaction chart. Hopefully more drugs are added in the next update like nor-epi, propofol, plavix, etc.

Go back to the way it was!. I am a firefighter paramedic for a major city, and I use to love this app because it would confirm what I was rusty on, like ped dosages. This new update makes this app worthless to any body. Please go back to the way it was!!!!

What happen to all your apps they all say not available anymore.. I purchased this app last year and i accidentally deleted it and now i can't download it again keeps saying no longer available.

Excellent but out of date.. Please update the pNumber 1 ALS Software that i just bought to 2010 guidelines. It's kinda worthless until you do. I don't get it.

Close, a few tweaks needed. Updated. Only 2 years. Heck, the printed version gets more updates then this. --- You cannot resize the pictures or drawings. Does not support landscape mode. Will not work on iPad.

Disappointed. I contacted customer support about the blank topics screen months ago. They were very apologetic and prompt in response. I was assured that they were looking into the issue and a correction would be made. They offered a refund, but I chose to wait it out between semesters...hoping for an update. Still nothing. Sad face. 😩

Great information. App is a bit buggy but the info is the same as my pocket brain. I like the peds dosing calcs the most so far

Can't view main menu. If you close the app from a certain topic you cannot go to the main menu when you reopen the app.

Great App. I'm currently in medic school and this app is a great help for quick or on the go review.

New update makes it worthless. The recent update doesn't allow me to get in to the topics section at all! This is the most important section of the app. It shows a black screen! Unreliable when you need it the most! Had to use a secondary app to look up a med. It was great before. Now not worth a cent!

Broken. Buttons don't work, search button takes you to bookmarks, no home content screen. Messed up.

Needs Work. Search button brings up bookmarks. Maintain the app to current appropriate EMS standards, or it needs to go away.

READ THIS FIRST. This is a Great Paramedic level app. There has been two recent updates to meet 2010 AHA guidelines.

Won't download new update. I had the original ALS guide until you added an update. Now it won't update, tried deleting it several times and reinstalling. Keep getting error unable to download

Update. This was a great app till the app developer stoped updating it. Now it does nothing. Would be really great to have them to update he app. Great tool couple years ago
